The Ms. WWE superstar joining us shortly on this program. Hall of Famer Chris Weber in hour number three. But we kick off hour number two in studio with a bona fide big-time Major League Baseball player from the Atlanta Braves, the best record in baseball, 26 and 12, taking on the Dodgers in a monster early May three-game set. And the man who leads the Atlanta Braves and hitting with a 322 average.
Ladies and gentlemen, second baseman Ozzie Alba is here on the Atlanta. Good to see you, man. How are you? Good to see you. I'm doing great.
I appreciate you spending an off day in Southern California inside an El Segundo television and radio station. Let me start with that. Yeah, it's an off day, but you know. You still do fun stuff on the off day and enjoy the moments. And I appreciate that.
I appreciate all that.
So, what is clicking for your team right now for the first six weeks of the season? We're playing. You know, tremendously great baseball, and we just enjoy the moment as a team. We're all together and you Have each other's back and enjoy the game and have fun with it. I think that's what's clicking and going great for us.
Well, obviously, winning helps having fun, but what do you think is leading to the winning? What would you point? I'll say the preparation. You know, it starts with the preparation since we wake up in the morning, we get together, you know, we have our breakfast, we talk baseball, then we get to the field, we do our preparation of meetings, etc.
So I think that's what leads you and prepares you for a good ballgame. That comes from Walt Weiss, would you say? It comes from definitely Walt Weiss and the whole staff and all the great uh coaches we have and all what we put together to be to be good at you know Compete against the other teams. Other than great form tackling, what has Walt Weiss brought to the situation this year? No, he's a leader.
And I know Wald for more than 80 years now, and he always has been the same person, same guy. He's one of the greatest As you mean I've been around and uh You know, if you mess around with him, you will find out. Or if you mess around with any of you, we'll see what happens. Did you guys have fun with your manager about that moment where he was out there making sure a brawl doesn't take place by by uh by going low? Yes, definitely.
Yeah, definitely. We had fun about it and uh we even made like a shirt about uh really him in the fight. And I mean, you have fun with moments like that. You will never forget those. And Yeah.
He did the right thing by putting him, you know.
So, there's a big man, so you have to put him down before things escalated even more. Exactly.
So, who's in charge of making those shirts up? I did not, I don't, don't know who made the shirt. I just got mine and I wore it.
So, but somebody, whoever it was, knew what your size was, clearly. You know what I mean? Yeah, they made uh they made a couple of of them and I definitely enjoy the shirt I have at home. I think we have to get one of our large or lexicon? What do you, what do we got?
Yeah, I'm a large. Yeah.
Well, TJ, would you wear one of those shirts? Because you're a Met fan, though. Would you, where do we go on that front? Yeah, I don't know, man. Maybe I'll just step aside for this.
Okay, no. Yeah.
Which team do you like to beat the most? Um. I'll definitely say the Phillies.
Okay. And, you know. It's our it's our rivalry in the in the East, definitely. And, you know, every time you go play the you wanna beat those guys, they they have ba beat us in a couple of years back.
So, um I'll say that's one of the Series that every time we go there, the guys are amped up because is that right? That is that's right, huh? Who's the one that amps the team up the most? Like, get us going? Yes.
I mean, Every time we go to a city like that, everybody starts talking about it right away. As soon as we're done with our preparations, like, hey, let's beat these guys up today because But who rallies that? Who who stirs up that in your line? We used to have we used to have some guys on the team that used to, you know. Be the one that started it.
Like, Anozuno was always there because, I mean, he'd been in the league for a long time. Right. You know, they always boo him and stuff like that. It's just his game, and they just didn't, you know, the way he, I guess, hit the ball hard against them, they didn't like that. Right.
I mean, you always get that when you're doing great. But who, right now, in your right now, I'll say it's a team, it's a team thing. No kidding. Yes, because we have new guys on the team, and even Tam, they were like, hey, we want to beat those guys.
Okay. I guess, what's this thing? The third alternate uniforms or the CitiConax. Citiconax, yes. Does Chris Sale like wearing them?
I mean, Are you aware of Chris's history with alternate uniforms? I heard some stories, but well, they involve a pair of scissors. Yeah, I heard that story before.
So that hasn't that hasn't there. It hasn't no, it hasn't got there with the with the new city connects we got. I mean, they purify. They are very. I'm pretty sure he likes them.
Well, my s my son knows uh because again, I I think that Major League Baseball has created City Connects not for the team to connect with the city, but for the for the The league to connect with my wallet. You know, like, and I tell that to my 15-year-old, who's a die-hard baseball fan all the time.
So he kind of shows me these city connects to try and trigger me. The ones, though, from the Braves, they look old school. Like, they look really old school. Dale Murphy. Yeah, the Dale Murphy.
Yeah, they're actually really cool. And I like wearing them. When we had, I think we had a. Week early in the season where we were for like three straight days. I enjoyed it.
It was fun.
Okay. Are you superstitious like that? That if you win in a uniform you want to keep wearing it or not? I mean, if something is going right, I feel like we should keep rocking it.
Okay. Like, especially on the road, if we were. We wear gray and we're doing great. I I guess we should keep wearing gray and keep doing great, you know.
So we'll keep um I'll just tell you this right now. Uh if you go on a winning streak after this program. You know, gotta keep it going. Yeah, it's the first of many appearances of Ozzy Albies here on the Rich Islands. Thursdays with Ozzy.
Give him his own chair. Thursdays with Ozzy. I kind of like it. Yeah, Sarah Tianov, Women's Sports Now fame, as a matter of fact, is off the city. There it is.
Yeah, we're off camera. It's a beautiful, beautiful. And it's yours. It's yours, which means get ready for Sharpie to be put in the car. No problem.
No problem. All right.
So let's get to the Ozzy Albies Foundation. Because again, my wife Susie Schuster, who's also on Women's Sports Now with Sarah. And yours truly, we are massive dog rescue people, and clearly you are as well. Um Tell me why, why is the foundation about dog rescue in? I give you the floor on that.
Yeah, so we, me and my wife, we are. What's your wife's name? Andrea.
Okay. We are a dog lover.
Okay. And we have eight dogs that we adopted ourselves. Eight? Eight, yes, that's at the house. Putting you to shame.
Your two looks weak. Careful. Don't put anything in Susie's behind on that. He's only three, but eight of them, yes. They all adopted.
She actually posted a video a couple of days about a couple of days ago about all of them we have. And we even have we babysitting one right now named called Buck.
Okay. Trying to find him. After Joe Buck? I don't think it's after Joe Buck. It's a different one.
But trying to find him a home and We sat together, and because we're duck lovers, we decide to do something for the state of Atlanta, and we want to. We wanted to give back in the way of rehoming dogs. We have rehomed over 100 dogs just last year. And doing a great job about it. And we just, you know, we want to start a program where.
We can help the community of Atlanta. And we don't want to see the dogs on the street. And even when there is a dog in the shelter for more than 100 days and it never gets adopted, we want to give them a chance again before they get euthanized. Exactly.
So that's what the idea we had together. And we want to, you know, we want to keep it going and definitely looking to build a facility full-time and all that stuff. And when you say a facility, you mean where dogs can just roam free and be rescued or homed there? Rehomed there, yes.
So somebody maybe gives them a forever home? Yes, that's the goal that we are trying to get to right now. And so Aussie AlbiesFoundation.org to get funds for that. Exactly.
Oh, but you can count on that from me and Susie. We appreciate that a lot. Wow, that is so cool. It's going to help way more dogs in the city of Atlanta. And even if there is dogs outside of Atlanta, we still, if we have an opportunity to help them, you know, rehome it.
Whatever the case might be, we actually pull for it and go for it. Yeah, adopt, don't shop. Yeah.
And it's just a beautiful idea, and not enough folks. You know, obviously, there's a lot going on in the world that needs help and certainly some funds put towards it. This is a beautiful idea, and I think it's pretty cool, man. Thank you for doing that. Aussie outfoundation.org for that.
Now, where did your love for exotic fish come from? I imagine from Curacao, growing up in Curacao? Yeah, so growing up in Curacao, my grandfather had six kois. that we used to have in in a koi smaller koi pond. uh in the in the neighborhood and at our house, he had his six special ones that he always, you know, fed every morning he drinks his coffee, watching them, feed them, change water.
So I grew up since I was like four years old watching those fishes till one day I don't remember exactly what happened, but they all passed at the same time. I think A new crew, I don't remember exactly what happened.
Okay. So. I told my wife, hey, when there is a chance that I can do a Koipan, I will definitely want to do it because of bringing back the tradition that how I grew up in Kiraca. That's why I I'm all over fish and I'm all about fish now. And I have, I think it's close to just in Koi in general, I have like 100 kois at the house now.
So, did you say, you know, hey, growing up and curious how one day I'm going to be a big-time Major League Baseball player so I can have a foot tank in my garage? I think. Exotic cars and exotic fish in the same garage. I think that was the goal that pushed me to keep playing hard too.
Well, check the box, Ozzy. I mean, It's like you stuck the landing on that. And then that video, is this a hot tub you've got going on? With what is this?
So this is my koi pond, actually. And so you're just you swim in your koi pond? I'm swimming in my koi pond, and then you see the fish jumping behind me right there. My gosh. Yeah, so that's my koi pond.
Yeah, that's my koi pond. And it was snowing that day. And I was like, why not just jump in the cold uh koi pon and then go straight to my hot tub after that. That's my cold punch of the day.
So, this is in there. That's my koi pon in the backyard that I just jumped in when it was snowing in Atlanta. Why not? There's what, what, 40, 50? How many are in there?
And that koi pon is 100. That's the one with 100. That's the 100. Chris, it's the 100 koi pong. I'll keep up.
You're so ignorant, Chris. Jeez. Listen to when he talks. It's a hundred clean. It doesn't seem like there is a hundred, but we did a full deep clean, and I count them.
One by one. And I remember I had like 92, and I went back and got eight more because I wanted to get the 100. Might as well. And it's like, enough, enough. I'm like, no, I want to get 100 coins.
Yeah, keep it in. Yeah, it makes sense to me. It's a rare case for a baseball player to be happy to hit 100. She's All right, now let's put this to the test. Ozzy Albies.
We have Pulled or christed on behalf of the Rich Eisencheck. Uh-oh, here we go. Six. Exotic fish, photographs of six exotic fish. We're going to see if you can.
Name though? Name that fish with Ozzy Alberts. All right.
Okay, here we go. Let's do it. We don't have fish music, do we? Forget it. Don't worry about it.
Let's do it. By the way, I've never asked that of Jay. We got something fussy. That's a first. All right, here we go.
Put up the photograph. What fish is this Aussie Albes? Do we know what this fish is? Yes. What is it?
So funny story about this fish. Oh, wow. Oh, he's got a fish. I didn't expect a fish story. It's like Ozzy, I cut a fish, please.
Okay. So I I wanted to own this fish before. My friend had my friend, my good friend Taylor, He actually bought some of these fishes. They got to his fish tank and they were like, Oh, they took they had delays and I think they're all dead.
So he threw them in the tank because right away, they all lay on the bottom. And the next day he woke up and they were all swimming.
So believe it or not, most people say, Yeah, most people say they are sensitive.
Okay. But most of my fish. keepers out there that I chat with and have connection with. They keep them with exotofishes and all that, and they.
So, what's the name of this fish? They definitely survive. What's the name of this fish? This fish is the, it's not. Oh my god, you put them in this.
Oh, yeah, no, that's what it's about. I never owned one. I wanted to own one, but I forgot the name. Give me one second, I get it for you. I forgot it, Ozzy.
I don't want to. Ladies and gentlemen, Ozzy's just called for time. The fish clock is starting. Hey, the fish clock is starting. The clock.
I put the clock on time. All right, yeah, yeah. You get one disengagement allowed. What do you got? I'm trying to get to the name now.
I'll give you a hint. It's also the name of something you throw in the Olympics in track and field. Mm-hmm.
Okay. I don't even know that, but I know the name. We just blind spot. Can we come back to it? Let's put a pin in it.
Come back to it.
Next fish. I'm going to name it. He had a story, but not a name. Because I forgot the name. This is an arowana.
Lucky fish. Arowana.
Okay, hold on a minute. Hold on a minute. Call is confirmed. I didn't tap my helmet. I gotta tap my helmet first.
Okay. Call is confirmed. All right, very good. Uh next up, next up, here we go. This is salt water for sure.
I never own a saltwater tank yet. I will say who? Chat my helmet. Oh, my God. This looks like a It's a two-word name.
It does look like a. Take a guess. It looks like poison it. Mmm, let's see. Hold on a minute.
Let's check to see if we got it or not. I just ABS. I will say this is close to a. Mm. That's all right.
Yeah, made famous by the movie Deuce Bigelow Male Gigalo.
Okay. Yeah, it looks like a Lionfish. Yeah, yeah. Oh, hold on a minute. Let's check.
Let me tell you. It does look like a lionfish. Where do we got it? Is it? Yeah.
Let's go. It's a clear finish. Let's go. I didn't mean to tap my helmet. That's just the only way we can check on the next day.
All right.
We got three more fish. Pop up the next one. Here we go. Oh, this next fish. What is this fish?
Flowerhorn. Flowerhorn. Hold on a minute. Let me. Yeah, I got it already.
Tapping my limit. Hold on a minute. Let's check it out. Let's check it out. Yeah.
Yep. To be honest with you, that's kick lid. I don't know.
Okay, very good. It's flower horn, and that fish is actually really. Like It's a literally bean fish. If you put anything in the tank with him, it might fight him and try to kill him. Hopefully, you're not jumping in it.
Yeah.
Okay. Not to me, but a different fish. 99 other fish. All right, next one, next one, we got two more. Oh my god, damn, you put me in a good spot.
Salt water.
Okay. This is a. Talk it out. Talk it out. I almost went saltwater just to own one.
Is it a Emperor? No. None at all. Oh my god, it's actually a fish that most saltwater hobby people have. I'm not big into salt water.
I'll give you a quick hint. Quick hint. You look up to the heavens and you see who's up in the angelfish. That's it. That's what it is.
Tap the helmet.
Okay, tap the helmet. And there it is again. Because there's an angel fish in salt water and there's an angel fish in fresh water.
So there you go. Good to know. Chris, write that down. Write it down. You have it for the next time.
Last one, I think. Last one, Ozzy Albies. Who what is this fish? That's a peacock. That's one of my favorite fish.
Peacock bass. Peacock bass. It's good down the middle. Called confirmed. Do you want to go back to the first one?
Yes, 100%, but I'm still oh my god. You know what's so funny about this? Go back to the first one. It's funny that you had a full story that started. And I can't get the name.
My good friend K. If Mann. It has Keithman Aquatics. Do we want to phone a friend? He actually owns this.
He actually used to own this fish with the Arowanas. He actually donated to me. That's why I'm trying to get to the name, and I can't get to it. Um. It's it's uh it's not angel.
Definitely not. No, it's not. The angel has like the big. It's a one word, six letters. Starts with a D.
No, starts with a D. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Oh my god. This is why Ozzy Albies is its. No, I'm not going to give up.
Do we have a pitch clock? He's already got one disengagement. Here we go. Mound visit. All right.
Do you want me to just tell you what it is? You're just telling me one more letter. D-I-D-D-C. Oh, my God. Discus fish.
How can I forget that? Let's tap the helmet. I ran out of time. That's a strike on me. That's a strike on me.
I just put up the other one since we already had it prepared. Smitch put it up the other one. Oh, there's another one? No, no, no. It's just the other ABS we had.
Oh. Oh. How can I forget that this is football? Yeah, I chase. How are you with the ABS?
Do you like it? I love it. I actually love it. I had my first actually missed the other day, to be honest. Two days ago, I thought I walked, but it was like.
A little bit in the zone, so I punched out, but I felt like I needed to do it because it was like the sixth inning tie game. And Olsen, one of our best hitter on the team, was coming behind me.
So I was like, if I get to first, he can do something special here, either a 4-2 game or a 3-2 game. I tapped my hand, but I was wrong for the first time.
So, but you've gotten every other one right. Yes, I did. You're Ozzy Albies. Hey, thanks for coming on here. Congratulations on everything going on so far.
Obviously, there's a lot more baseball to be played, but the Braves are crushing it. All the Braves fans love watching what's happening right now. OzzieAlbiesFoundation.org. Please give whatever you can. Let's save more.
More dogs in the streets of Atlanta and give them a better life and save their lives in certain cases. Bless you for doing that. And thanks for coming on here. 100%. Thank you.
I got a question for you before I go, though. Sure.
Okay. Sure.
Can you teach me how to run the forty-yard dash? Oh, of course. Yeah.
I need it. I need it because I need I need a couple m more stolen bases right here, this year.
Well, Ozzy, I hate to tell you, um, this entire time I'm the guy in that full bodysuit running on the uh running running the uh forty yard dash, yeah. I've been I've been the one running on the uh on the uh this morning track this entire time. Hear the freeze? I'm the freeze. I just revealed.
It's been my secret this entire time. No one knew. I'm the freeze. Run tell that. Everybody, you bet.

He's made us late for our next interview, so hopefully he'll excuse us. Uh he knows the way this works. He understands the business of show. He is the Miz, ladies and gentlemen, WWE superstar in advance of the WWE Backlash streaming live this Saturday. What's up, brother?
How are you? I'll wait all day, every day, just to be interviewed by you.
So I am ready to go. I am happy. I am unhappy about the fact that the Cavs lost game one. There was a sloppy game, a lot of turnovers, but I think the Cavs beat themselves. The Pistons did not beat the Cavs.
The Cavs beat the Cavs.
So as long as the Cavs can turn it around, I think that they're going to go to the NBA Finals.
Well, listen, I always know you think the Cleveland teams can go always, all the way, if not undefeated, unblemished, and unfortunately. Rivaled. I understand that. Did you hear about Donovan Mitchell saying that he's not a flopper? That's why he's not getting the calls.
He's not a flopper.
So. He's never been a flopper. In Cleveland, we don't flop. We don't need to flop. We're not a bunch of floppers in Cleveland.
We are hard workers. We dedicate ourselves. And we strive to win.
Well, you know what you do? You play the long game. Because you have no choice. But listen, the long game is this. Wow.
No, by the way. Did I stutter? It's all true. I mean, he comes in peace, though. But here I do, too.
May not sound that way, but I come in peace. No, no. We all remember. No, hold on a minute. We remember this face.
Remind this man of this face. This face was a man who had just learned that his team was passing up the opportunity to trade, to acquire, draft Travis Hunter. Willingly trading. And that photograph was taken to troll you. By Angelo Dawkins.
Yes, who is definitely nothing in his heart about the Cleveland Browns that. um at all to be positive. But look hold on a minute. One year later, the The trade is done. and put it up on the screen.
Mason Graham, Quinshon Judkins, Dylan Sampson, and now Casey Concepcion. are in the Browns' house. And I don't know. Do you have anything to say now back to anybody that was having fun at your expense with that photograph and that face? Ms.
Can I be can I be completely honest with you, please? Before the draft. I told myself, and this was the first year that I actually said this, and probably like. ever. I was like.
The Browns aren't going to the Super Bowl this year. They're just not. We should tank and we should go for Arch Manning. That's what we should do.
Okay. After this draft. We're going to the Super Bowl. Like, I don't think you understand. I don't think you understand what happened with this draft.
Andrew Berry, I applaud you. I've never seen anything like this. Have you ever seen a better draft? I mean, people are like saying, oh, the Jets. No, no.
The Cleveland Browns got four first round, like four first-round graded players. Yeah.
Four. We didn't have four first-round draft picks, but that trade of Travis Hunter, which I was last year, that was when I was on the plane. That's the face you saw. I wanted Travis Hunter. Thank you.
For being more knowledgeable than me, Andrew Berry. to know that the future is what we're looking for. And these players that we have gotten from that trade. Unbelievable. We have playmakers, we have blockers.
Now we just need a quarterback. And here's what I'm thinking: and I know a lot of people are going, oh, Watson might be back. Get a rider. We don't need him. I don't want him.
I want you to do. I want to give Shader the entire season and see what we have in him. And if we don't have what we need. I hear there's a lot of good quarterbacks coming out in this next draft. Let's go get one.
But. Let's give Sherdur. A chance to be a franchise player because I feel, and I don't know about anybody else, but I feel. He is. taken Cleveland as his community.
And whenever someone comes into Cleveland, you have to represent Cleveland. And I feel like he's been doing that. He does the little things around the community that a lot of people may see or may not see, but I look at it on social and I'll be like, wow, he's really being a part of the community, and that I love. And so I want the Cleveland Browns to do well. I think they have everything they need to do well.
And I think they will do well. And I think they're going to the Super Bowl. And you laugh at me right now. You laugh. You have a big smile on your face.
Yeah.
But wait. You just wait.
Okay. Until next year. Right. And we're sitting here talking again. Yes, sir.
And I am bragging. That the Cleveland Browns are the Super Bowl champions. You know what? I gotta. You know what?
I gotta apply. I gotta give it up. Thank you. That's the level of delusion I have. Delusion.
It's not delusion. I love it. But I hear you, and I don't think anybody capes for Shador. more than I do. Um because I I've known him since he was a knee-high to a jackrabbit, to use a phrase.
Um and so he and obviously I love Dion and the whole family. He does have an opportunity, I would imagine. I imagine they'll give him that opportunity. He's got to ball out in training camp and do everything because if I'm the Browns and I've poured out.
So much capital and time. And taking so much crap and so much grief. For acquiring Deshaun Watson, and I've spent all that money. And he's you got one more year to see what you have in him. Uh I I it would be way too enticing for me to not kick that tire in week one and see how it goes.
Um because he does have Have the neck. I think you got a flat tire and you just need to put it in the trunk and get that new tire in.
Okay. Put it on. Shadure is it. What do you think Shadur is missing? Like, you've known him since he was a child.
Experience. Experience. Experience. Is that what it is? Then why aren't we giving him the experience?
No, I know that because you have something else where you're otherwise potentially ready to go with these young guys. And then you got to also see how the rest of the team, and obviously Todd Munkin will have to take that temperature. How does the rest of the team respond? Like, do they want him? He said that when he walked in the office, but you know, Ms., you've been around this town long enough to know what people say to your face and what it really means behind your back, too.
So you think he's two-faced? You know what? I shouldn't say such things. It could be something that might be genuine. I did see that exchange.
I shouldn't say that, even though I just did. I don't know.
I understand. Do you think you speak for all Browns fans that you want to see the kid rather than Deshaun Watson again? From me and my friends, and my friends are all from Cleveland. I think we all, whenever Deshaun was brought to Cleveland, we all went, oh. And we all liked Baker Mayfield.
I think, like, talking to my friends, yes, sir, and being able to go to the American Century Championship and play golf with Baker Mayfield and see what he's like around everybody else, that's a guy I can get behind. Like, that's a guy that I want to hang out with and I want to play football with. And he's just a ride or die type of person. He has the Moxie that is Cleveland or was Cleveland. And then we trade him away to get this what's supposed to be a franchise quarterback that just basically has been broken ever since he's gotten to Cleveland.
And it's been an annoyance. It's been a negative publicity. And, you know, you bring in Shador, which I don't know if that's even better publicity or not, but I mean, I look at him and I go, this guy. Has a star and a father that has been training him since he was a kid to be a star, to take with the pressure of what it is to be an NFL franchise quarterback.
So he knows what that pressure is, he knows how to do it. And it's just being able to do it. And now that he has the team. That literally has the playmakers, it has the blocking, and I think they do have the coach, and the defense is unreal. What's stopping them from literally saying, okay, this guy needs experience.
Let's give him this full season to do that. He's gotten to sit a little bit. He should have enough time by now. That literally has given him the experience to be a good, solid quarterback. And everyone has a bad first year.
Like his first year, his first time I saw his first game with the Raiders, and I was like, this guy's got spark. There's something about the team that when he plays with them, there's a spark.
Now, there's a lot of turnovers, but Peyton Manning had a lot of turnovers as well.
So, why are we saying, oh, Peyton Manning's this guy, but then why not Shadura this guy? Like, I know one's fifth round, one's a first round, but. I don't know, man. I say, give him the ball and let's see what he can do. Yeah, we'll see how that plays out.
The Miz here on the Rich Eisen Show, WWE Backlash, ladies and gentlemen, coming up Saturday on the ESPN app on the ESPN Limited Unlimited plan right here in the good old US of A. ESPN2 is the home of the first hour live. I give you the floor on this subject matter, sir. What do you got for me? I mean, Backlash is going to be absolutely incredible.
I have a match myself and Kit Wilson, my mentee. Master Inspire Zone In Ms. Method. He's been doing it. He's been doing great.
And we're taking on a guy named Danhausen who curses people. And people believe in this curse. People believe so much in this curse that I'm in a tag team match for the tag team championships. I hit a guy with the skull-crushing finale. I go to cover him.
One, two. Oh. The referee gets a cramp in his shoulder. Could you imagine an NFL referee saying, sorry, guys, I got a cramp. I missed that place, that play.
I cost you the game. What would you think would happen to that person? 'Cause in WWE. He said, Oh, it's okay, it's no problem. It happens.
No, it doesn't happen. What happens is. One, two, three, I'm the tag team champion. I'm no longer tag team champion. Not only that, by the way, Dan Hausen has blown me up.
Two weeks ago, Pyro just blows up in the ring. People are saying, Oh, it's a curse. No, it's not. It's the Pyro guy doing the Pyro wrong at the wrong time and hitting me in the face and costing me a match. These are the type of things that happen.
Dan Hausen has also ruined my. Vow renewal with my wife. I was going to renew my vows with my wife. We were doing it, we were doing a special thing at WrestleMania where I would basically. Officiate weddings, which I thought was beautiful.
I remember when I married my wife for the first time, and then my wife surprised me. She says, you know what? We're gonna renew our vows right now. I was like, oh my God, this is amazing in front of our daughters who have never seen us get married. This is crazy.
We got married before they were boring. And so then What happens? Dan Hausen shows up and ruins everything. My wife gets cake in her face. I get cake in my face.
And so that he ruined my valve removal. Not only that, he stole my daughter's bike. Danhausen stole my daughter's bike.
Sounds like a real mastered this Danhausen. People are cheering him. They love him. You want my daughters. My daughters, Rich.
My daughters love him, think he's so funny. I was like, he stole your bike. And she's like, that's okay. You'll just buy me a new one. I'm like, what are we doing here?
It's your first bike. Like, that's that's that's sentimental value to me, G, you too. Like, this is not a guy that we should be looking at, going, oh my God, he should be going up against a person that's been in WWE for 20 years, has main event in WrestleMania, two-time WWE champion. And I'm going up against this guy? And people think this guy's gonna beat me?
I don't think so. And then, also on the backlash card, by the way, I'll keep going. We have Roman Reigns taking on Jacob Fatu, which Fatu has been on a tear. He's exactly what he says he is: all gas, no breaks. And Roman Reigns has his hands full, let me tell you.
Seth Rollins, brawn breaker. And I got to tell you, this new crop of talent. I don't know what's going on down there at the performance center and the WWE's NXT Performance Center, but they are training these young superstars to come into WWE and not only be ready, but have a connection with the audience. And Braun Breaker has just been absolutely stout.
So, Seth Rollins, man, I mean, He to me is the new Mr. WrestleMania. He, every time he has a match, it's a five-star quality match that you know you're going to want to see and love. But man, Braun Breaker just hits you hard. And Could cause an injury.
You never know.
So, we have a lot of insane matches. Asuka Io Sky is going to be one that to be remembered.
So, we're going to be there, Tampa, and this Saturday, and it's going to be an absolute amazing PLE.
Well, Jacob Fatu, the guest of this week's No Contest Wrestling, correct? Yeah, episode dropped yesterday. We will also have a cutdown version on ESPN2 this afternoon. What up, Miz? Uh, better guest, better guest, me or Jacob Fatu.
Oh, that's hard to say, Miz. I mean, you were in person, you were in person, Jacob was on Zoom. Can I say I'd love talking to both of you? How about you can't? But you and I have to know, I don't want a PC answer.
Nobody, nobody here. Rich Eisen wants people wants eyes on the show.
Okay. He wants to know: hey, if I'm going to put you on Teach, I want to know what the answer is. I don't want to. Well, maybe this, maybe that. And I got you.
You know, you and I. Jordan or LeBron. I'm just going to, oh, they're so both good. You know, Miz, you and I had. One-sided beef for decades before I was able to sit down and chop it up with you.
So if I had to take that into consideration, I'd say, Jacob, you know, if you're going to put me on it took, but now you and I are here, and I didn't want to say cut a promo, you know, but I do have a thing, Ms. You don't know who Dan Hausen's tag team partner is, bro.
So I'm going to do you a favor because we are. I don't care who it is. I don't care if he brings more people with face paint. You think I care who my mystery partner is? I don't think so.
I'm the only care if it's a hamburgler. Bring on whoever you want. I don't think you care, but because we're cool now, I have a few names. I just want to throw these out just so you'll be prepared. If you're wanting answer them anymore, yeah.
I mean, this is for you. Do you understand that Jacob Butter's a better interview than me? There's no one that's a better interview than me, gives you more energy, more ammo, more talkability than me. And you sit there and say, Oh, Jacob Funtu, he's all gas, no breaks. He's so amazing.
Oh, my God. Maybe the world champion. You never know.
How dare you? I think it's all over. You put me in this position unjustifiably. I didn't want to say it, but you made seats.
Okay. But here's the deal: I got a few partners for Danhausen. I just want this. Just go ahead. Just do it because he doesn't want to hear it.
It could be Matt Cardona. Could be Mr. Iguana. Could be Royce Keys. Could be CM Punk.
I show speed is another one. But if they're going to go the ESPN route, because you know there's some synergy. I've been hearing Stephen A. Smith. Nah, I'm not worried about him for you.
But you should worry about Kendrick Perkins. Maybe he's Dan Hausen's tag team partner. Oh. Brian Windhorse. Wendy.
He could be Dan Hausen's tag team partner. Or, you know, sometimes it's the least expected person. And there's a man that's sitting to my left now. I don't know what he's doing on Saturday. Me?
He has no plans. You never know.
It'd be Rich Isaac. I'd be better. It could be Dan Hausen. Watch out. It'd be a better option to be in the freeze.
In Atlanta. I want it to be you, TJ, so I can smack you right in the face, hit you in a skull crushing finale. How about that? That's who I want the partner to get. You never know.
Then I'll be your favorite guest. It's no longer one-sided. All right.
Saturday, May 9th, 6 Eastern on the ESPN app. ESPN Unlimited plan in the United States. The first hour airs live on ESPN2. Prime Video is the home of American Gladiators available right now, hosted by the Ms. Thank you, Rich.
You know, it's hard to get that plug out there sometimes, but I appreciate you giving me the American Gladiators plug. And it's amazing, by the way. We've been the number one competition series as well as unscripted on Prime Video since its debut one month ago. We've been number one. And uh, people have been talking all about it, so thank you very much for actually bringing it up.
And I'm happy to bring that up, even though you mentioned about playing American Century Championship golf with Baker Mayfield, even though you did it with me first. I'm fine with it.
So, stop being so sensitive, Miz. I'm gonna ask you, are you doing it this year or no? Hell yeah, I'm back at the okay, good. Yeah, which is why you and I are both calling it the American Century Championship because we don't want to be caught on a cheat on a teaching tape. Um, you're the best, Miz.
Thanks for being here. Thanks, Pod. Thanks, guys. All right, brothers and gentlemen, Ms. One-sided beef.
It's both sides, beef.
Now, we'll take a quick break because we're out of time here. We're having such a great time with guests. We're taking it right up until the limit. We're back on the Rich Isen Show in just a flash. The Rich Eisen Show, the podcast.
Most protein drinks ask you to choose between results and taste. Bucked up decided that's a ridiculous trade-off. Bucked up makes lightly carbonated protein drinks, 25 grams of protein per can, clear protein, not milky or thick, and they taste so good that 25 grams of protein almost feels like a bonus. Bucked up is so confident you'll love their drinks. They're giving away an island vacation just to prove it.

I cannot believe it. And I remember, again, sitting upstairs. Um at my cubicle that I just found again. A month ago, remember I shot that video of where I there's my cubicle where I sat. For the Overnight sports centers, And you'd get to work around 5 o'clock, 5:30 for the 2 a.m.

Do we have video of that or no? No, just our memories. Just exactly. Just our memories. Just our memories.
10 years ago. What a moment. I remember. I don't remember when. We were here.
We were on the air. Were we really?
Well, yeah, 2016. Oh, uh but we weren't sitting here. It wasn't an afternoon game while we were watching it, was it? Great question. I will find that out.
