Holy cow. I haven't seen that much wine in a very long time.

Well, Okay. The leader of that will be here in hour three. Yeah, O'Shea Jackson Jr. is going to be here. O'Shea's on his way?

He'll be here in hour three of the contest wrestling. He's coming early because there's so much to talk about. He said enough on Twitter live. I think he's the keeper of the Kobe Flame. And so I imagine he has got a lot to say about what happened last night.

Honestly, one of the wildest 24-hour periods. Or you could, I don't know, you can even just say 24-hour period. I guess you could say five-hour period. Really, just it was a five-hour window. uh last night where things were just completely off Center off kilter.

Um when You know, Max Crosby Is no longer a Raven, he's a Raider again. And then Team USA plays Team Italy in the World Baseball Classic. And gets beat by Team Italy behind some terrific pitching. By a guy from Anaheim. And then we're learning Bam Atabayo in Miami against Washington scores 31 in the first quarter.

You're like, what? And winds up with the second most points in a single NBA night all time and could have. had a ninety point game if he made every single one of his forty seven free throws. forty three. He missed seven, could have had ninety.

But let's start the show with um The first order of business. Listen. Uh it was last Friday. I'm here. TJ's here, Susie's here, you're there.

Yes. Um we're here, you're there. And Lamar Jackson tweeted out the Denzel Washington Training Day boom, Jiff. Cool. And We're like, what could this possibly mean?

Boom! It means Something big, Lamar knows it, and we're like, could it be Max Crosby? has been acquired by Baltimore. Sure enough, by nightfall, that was the case. And you hear it all the time.

You hear it all the time. This time of year. Anything that happens before the new league year is not official until the new league year begins at 4 p.m. Eastern time later on today. This Wednesday, four Eastern time.

Anything that happens between now and then. is a handshake Wink and a nod agreement. Like a buffalo. That's. Yeah.

The truth. The yellow line in football broadcast is not official, but we're sitting there thinking it's official. It's official to me. It's not official just because Adam Schefter says it. Are you sure?

Or Ian Rappaport says it, or our guy Tom Pellisero says it, or our first-hour guest, Diane Rossini, says it. Every single chess move you've read about, heard about, had alerts about. Has an NFL finger on the chess piece. And It's still up in the air. Until the NFL at 4 p.m.

Eastern Time on Wednesday, this day. forces the finger to be removed. And right now there is a finger involved. You think? And it's one from Baltimore, that's the middle one, to Vegas, Max Crosby.

And based on the way the rest of the league apparently is digesting this news, the rest of the league. But Eric DaCosta, the man in charge of the grocery shopping and the moves in Baltimore. Is not required to go through with a deal that's a handshake agreement. Until it's four o'clock Eastern today, and it doesn't matter. if he knew Max Crosby had surgery on his knee.

And it doesn't matter if, as all reports are saying, he heard from Dr. Neil Ellatrosh, who's just up the road here in the marina with his awesome hair and terrific track record. I saw him at the Combine, by the way. Hey. He's like he's the he's the Paul Rudd of orthopods.

Ha ha ha ha. Yeah. He's he's he's he he doesn't age. No. Nope.

Nor does his reputation. And it doesn't matter if Neil's saying he's good to go. And it doesn't matter if your doctors are like, yeah, short term, he's going to be out, but he'll be fine long term, or we have an issue, maybe long term. All of these things. Don't matter until four o'clock Eastern today, except.

In the NFL, If you make this agreement on a Friday, And then you have Friday and Saturday and Sunday and then Monday. Everybody's open for business, and the Raiders drop $281 million worth of total contract dollars. On a whole bunch of players. Based on the fact that they believe Max Crosby is a raven. And Max Crosby.

And his money is off their cap, and they are spending with that. Understanding. Including Taking the Ravens Center, Tyler Linderbaum, off their roster. with a generationally Enriching for every other center that comes after him and also Linderbaum contract. And at some point, we don't know when.

At some point. Could it have been when Linderbaum left? Could it have been that? Could it have been sometime Monday night? There is a an Orthopedic surgeon in Baltimore saying, wait a minute.

I don't know what it was. But at some point I imagine Eric DaCosta had to call John Spytech, and Spytech's got to look down at his phone going. Why is he calling me? And he's hello?

Well, uh Hey, John, it's it's Eric. You know that money you spent yesterday and everything you spent on all these New players and Well Just wondering, how much salary cap money do you have left? Because you're going to need another 30. Yeah. Because we are not taking Max Crosby, and we're keeping our two firsts.

And I don't even know, like, how much longer of a conversation happens after that? Nothing. Click. I don't know. You got to see.

Why? Like, you had to know all this stuff. You knew all this stuff. Like, what is it? All of a sudden, you just.

You Googled Max Crosby's knee? Like, where did this come from? Like what? Because this does, in fact, now got to give anybody pause when you're talking to the Ravens. In all due respect.

You're an agent, you're a GM, you're anybody else in the league. You got to sit there and go. Is this for Ghazi or is it not? Like at what point? Can this happen?

And the answer from the Ravens clearly has to be Doesn't matter. It's not 4 o'clock Eastern on Wednesday yet, is it? And then one of the newest Lastest longing memes of all time in sports has been born, which is the statement from the Raiders on some weird looking sort of stationary background. I don't know who chose it. Is it silver and black and ivory?

Is that what it is? I don't know what it is. I think it's a bone. Is it a bone? Does it have some sort of sisal in it?

I don't know what it is, but it's this: the Baltimore Ravens have backed out of our trade agreement for Max Crosby. We will have no further comment at this time. Matt Leinard is next. Ha ha ha ha ha. And a lot of people around the league are saying Eric DaCoste is who we think he is.

He's a guy that you need to, you know, side-eye a little bit. And then on top of it. You know, does the league need to do something? And by that I mean this. That In this new league year window where you could do whatever you want.

two uh two days of negotiating, right? Any trades that happen before it or during it should be transacted on the spot. What are we waiting for? Why do trades have to wait? Right?

Why do trades have to wait? I need an answer to that. I haven't gotten a good answer to that. How about a trade Max Crosby? You all right, you get your obviously physicals need to be made.

And everybody believes that it's not a failed physical. Everyone knew what his knee problem is. That it's not like. You know, caveat mtor. By or beware, they were aware But does the league need to do something about that?

Because they can't they're not going to step in and say the Ravens did something off because it's not official. It's the yellow line. This whole thing is the yellow line until four o'clock Eastern time. And just in case the Ravens You're wondering. what they're thinking about what everybody else is thinking of them.

Are they or da costa? Is he somehow, some way feeling a bit sheepish about how this all went down.

Well, here's your answer. They signed Trey Hendrix at this point. Yeah. Okay. I'm sorry to laugh.

But it's just like full speed ahead. What? Full speed ahead. Yeah, we're the page is turned. We're turning pages here.

The rest of the sports media may not. Every other front office in the league may not. The Raiders may not. But we're doing. It's where We're moving.

We're getting Trey Hendrickson from the Bengals. And we're getting our pass rusher. And he's going to cost less than Crosby, and we don't have to give up a single bit of draft capital. We're going to keep those picks. Because it's in their rights to do so.

It is. It may be bad business or bad for their business in the long run, but right now, what their business is, what Eric DaCosta's business is, is to run the Ravens. As he feels fit to run the Ravens, as Steve Basciotti feels it is fit for the Ravens to have Eric DaCosta run it. And that's the end of it. And everyone else can pound sand, and here comes Trey Hendrickson, and off we go.

That's crazy. I mean, this is the wildest. free agency sequence I've seen in the twenty three years that I've been covering it.

Someone of Max Crosby's caliber. And he goes on his pod and he gives this, thank goodness he gave this heartfelt farewell. To the Raiders Faithful, saying, you know, I'm a Raider for life because guess what? He's still a Raider. As a matter of fact, apparently he's in the building rehabbing today!

Today? He's there. And the Raiders at this point in time Have Two choices. Welcome back, Max. How you feelin'?

Hey Tom, hey, I'm not sure. But hey, they did him right. I know. And he did them right in leaving the way he left. What do you want?

Okay, so there's no bridge blown up. Or The Raiders are like, we're open for business, and they can try and get as close to two ones as they possibly can get. I don't think they're going to get that again, which is again like the Ravens going ahead. And. And uh Saying we'll take them for two ones and everything else that the Raiders could have gotten from a team that probably wouldn't have gotten the cold feet.

that the ravens certainly appear to have gotten? And they've got to lick their wounds and figure out how. To deal with this, thank goodness it does appear they've got the cap space to absorb it. Again, I'm not a capologist. I see they got 50 million left.

I figure that's fine, but you know, they got a. They definitely didn't plan for it, and there's definitely going to have to be something they do to move things around.

Now, there's one last thing to say here. One last thing to say here. Because If The Raiders still want to move Crosby. There's one team that could do the funniest thing possible. And it's the Cincinnati Bengals.

Now, this would be completely out of their. realm here. out of their lane, out of what they normally do. But what if They go ahead and say, we'll get Max Crosby. We just lost Trey Hendrickson.

We'll get Crosby. Hey, Joe. How does that look for you? We're being aggressive. Six.

We're being the team that's opening up our Velcro wallet. We're getting this guy. And if you're looking for anybody. that has a chip on his shoulder. Eager to show one particular team on the NFL planet.

that he's healthy. And The Condor And he's coming for somebody. It would be Max Crosby against the Baltimore Ravens to make this photograph on the screen happen again. Lamar's like, oh damn. Lamar's eyes in that photo get me every time.

Because if that happens. Then guess what? Jif Joe Burrow or GIF Joe Burrow could send out. Boom! Yeah.

Yeah. That would be great. How about that? Joe, post that. Boom.

We got him. I think whoever signs him should be. Remember Jamar Chase cursing on the live stream? He was streaming live. When the trade was announced for Max Crosby, and he was several F-bombs.

Jamar Chase has posted. Is that true? Mmm, today April 1st. Yeah, that's the new. Exactly.

That's the new. Am I reading this right? That's the new hell going on. Hell going on. We just need a drug.

The receivers always come up with the best posts in free agency insanity. Am I reading the charger? Yeah. Yeah, we had Tyreek Hill actually say that. 'Cause we were wondering how he was sounding while he posted that.

The hell going on? We also got Diggs saying it. Yeah, we do too. I'll tell you, man, this is wild. But just to wrap it all up, and then we'll get to Diana Rossini.

No matter what you think, Boy, the Ravens of God Gumption to take them. Sit all weekend long ruminating on information that appears to have been Fully consumed by them and everybody else in the trade front. Then let's Free agency began. And then watch the Raiders spend all this money, including money on their center. And if you think the Ravens did the Raiders dirty, All they did was was in their rights to do.

Yeah, don't make that okay, though. I get it. And they will potentially reap. That in future dealings, considerations, or whatever. But at the end of the day, They have a guy who is a pass rusher without that knee problem.

Who's ready to roll, who knows the division, and is in their fold. And they don't care what you think. Go pound sand. Wild. The hell going on?

Diana Rossini of The Athletic is joining us here now on the Rich Eisen show talking about the big-time moment of Max Crosby being sent back to the Raiders by the Ravens. And the statement from the Raiders, the thing that leapt out at me once I realized it was real, like you, you had to check it out first, was the fact that they said the Ravens have backed out of our trade agreement for Max Crosby, meaning that whatever happened is something that the Raiders were clearly not in agreement with. at all.

So walk me through the medical portion of this. Deal when he took his physical, what did the Ravens know, and when did they know it about his knee? Yeah, I'm going to try to get through this with you here.

So, and it's not, it's easy to follow. It's essentially before teams were trading for Max Crosby, teams like the Bears, team like the Tampa Bay Bucks, teams like the Cowboys, New England, even at one point. They spoke to his doctor, they spoke to the Raiders' medical staff to find out: hey, we're thinking about trading for this guy. What are we talking about here? This is normal operation in the NFL before you trade for a player, especially if you're going to have to give up.

As much capital as the team was obviously forced to do here in the end.

So, The Ravens decided to make this trade, or at least agree to it, knowing all of this information, having spoken to the surgeon that did the surgery. Yet, you still want to make sure that the doctors in your building review the MRIs. And take a look at the player themselves. And they did that.

So the Ravens team doctor on Friday. Actually, what's today? Today's Wednesday.

So this was Tuesday.

So Friday, the Friday, the trade went down. Max flew in on Monday night. Tuesday, he was at the facility. And The team doctor took a look at him and they took a look at the MRIs. Then they decided to have.

four to five independent doctors take a look at it. Collectively, they made the decision. All these doctors that this is not good for the long term. The short term, For 26, right? The upcoming season, they felt Max would be okay.

It was about The third year, the future of Max Crosby as a Raven. And that's when they made the decision that they were going to send back the trade offer and send Max back on a jet. After spending almost eight hours In the Ravens facility, meeting with the head coach, meeting with assistants, meeting the staff members with his family, and then was told later in the afternoon, he was brought into Eric DeCosta's office and told, Look, we're sorry, this isn't going to work. We have too many concerns about your knee. You know, you're now a Vegas Raider again.

So he flew back and he's back in the building today rehabbing. As a reader. He had to have been totally Steamrolled by that. I can't imagine. Going into the office of the general manager who just acquired you in your head, and then hearing those words from Eric DaCosta.

Yeah, I mean, he ought to be dazed, confused, or whatever. And so they then reached out to the Raiders and canceled the trade. Which, by the way, as I said off the top of this show, it's their right. You know, they have the right to do that. But I mean This had nothing to do with what you said about the right.

And I do, I had a head coach this morning say the same thing you did. He essentially said exactly what you said, but you're way more eloquent.

Okay, I'll take it. Per usual. Per usual. All right. But I think the reason why The Ravens are taking so much heat, and why the Raiders are obviously mad about this is.

It seems fishy. That Trey Hendrickson was available, who they signed this morning or expected to when the new league year starts here in a few hours. That those conversations started yesterday. I can tell you the Ravens spoke to Trey Hendrickson yesterday while Max Crosby was in the building. Oh.

Okay. So that tells you that they were aware that something was going on with Max Crosby. Max Crosby was there, not knowing he was a dead man walking, that this was not gonna be his team.

Okay, so I think That's the problem here. Going through the medicals and saying, okay, this isn't good enough, that's fair. That is their right. And if that's what they really felt, they should do that. But if the reason you did this was because you got cold feet, that you gave up two first rounders for a player that's going to be 29 years old in December, that you thought that maybe his knee wasn't in the shape that you wanted it to be.

And oh, look, there's Trey Hendrickson. I think that's where it gets a little sticky. And I think that's where a lot of general managers and head coaches and agents that have been texting you for sure have been texting me to make it known that this isn't the way it's supposed to operate. And look, we'll all move past it. The Ravens aren't going to, no one's going to stop doing business with them.

That's not how it is. We know how it goes in football. People move on quick. But this certainly isn't a great moment. And now, Max Crosby, I think.

Unless a team is really willing to give up two first-round picks right now, which I can't find one, I think he's going to be a Raider for this upcoming season. And I think he's okay with it. I actually think the relationship between Max Crosby and the Raiders, despite the fact that it was not great at the end of the season, we've done tons of reporting. I know you guys have as well, and the guests that have come on your show. But it wasn't broken, it wasn't a relationship that was so tarnished that it could never be repaired, it just was hey.

It's probably beneficial we move on from you, Max. We're going to be able to get a lot of compensation. And Max is like, I can't win here. I've been through a lot. I need a change.

I want to go, I want to build my legacy. I want to go get a Super Bowl, knowing that this Raiders team is not built to win now. But this free agency, they did very well. And I think that's encouraging for someone like Max. And I don't expect anything but absolute discipline and focus like we see from him all the time.

I mean, think about what that took. You land last night from Baltimore. Essentially, I was told he left the building around like five, six o'clock, right?

So you're back in Vegas, four-hour flight out of Baltimore. It's 11. Right. You get up and you're back in the building at 6 a.m. as a raider.

After all of this debacle, like, I just think you got to give him some credit on top of the fact that I saw on his Instagram post that he's celebrating six years of sobriety. I just think for a tough day, um, You know, that's great for Max. I think he's been through tougher, you know? Yeah, that's his point, right? That he's been forged by something.

uh bigger and uh more more difficult to to handle than just football and of the the vagaries of his free agency Or, I guess, of this free agency period. Diana Rossini here on The Rich Isand Show.

So the Raiders are, in fact, still sticking to two ones. Is that what you're essentially hearing right now? On that front? Yeah, yesterday when this story broke, I started to reach out to the teams that I knew were in on. On Max Crosby originally, but things so much has changed.

Yeah, I mean, the Cowboys went and they got Rashawn Gary. They're not going to send him back to Green Bay to try and figure you know what I mean? Like there's only so much that can be undone. And I think what's only that could be undone has been undone, right?

So I don't know. Imagine a player was in the package. How about that? Imagine it was two first-rounders and a Raven.

Well, here's the thing, you know, like, no doubt. How about imagine this? Imagine if the Raiders and all of their spending on Monday went Up to the cap. Like right to the cap. Like, we see some teams sometimes do this.

They save some, obviously, for their impending rookies, maybe a little bit more for the rest of free agency, maybe a little bit more for a veteran here or there. What if the Max coming back? Put them over the cap. What if that had happened, right? Like, that would have been wild.

Because today they would be telling, let's just use the example. In this fake scenario, let hey, Tyler Linderbaum, that blockbuster incredible deal you got for a center. Yeah, we're gonna have to change those numbers, you know, or. Hey, Washington, go get him. You know, like that's the one player they would never throw back in the mix because that.

So, Linderbaum, that's another thing you were saying: Linderbaum being taken by the Raiders that didn't. Get the Ravens going in a certain direction where their feet would have a a colder temperature. No, I talked to people in Baltimore last night after all this to try to get that feel of like, is there some vengeance here? And they laughed at me. That doesn't mean that's not true.

It's just like, stop being so. We get a little petty when we're on the outside, right?

So it's like, no, no. I will say this: outside of. you know all these People in football messaging and reaching out to get their voices heard on the situation. I have felt teams today feeling a little sort of uptight, maybe a little anxious about the players they're bringing in before physicals here, or at least they've got physicals coming up. I just got, I was on a.

Call with the head coach right before I hopped on. And he's bringing a player in, a very important one, who's got a physical this afternoon. He kept going, Well, just chill. I'm not reporting anything that we got on because I want to make sure he passes physical. I'm not laughing at the situation, but I think this is a scenario where I think everyone is paying attention.

Everyone was, I think, in shock last night. And look, for Max, it's it's it's just go back to work and you're John Spytech and you're like sitting there in your office, like, what? You can't write this stuff, right? And so, look, let's see what happens as we get closer to the season. You know, maybe there's a team that decides to do it.

You know, Howie's brilliant. He'll figure something out, I'm sure, if he wants to do it. You know, like everybody goes back to you. Everyone looks at Roseman saying, okay, here comes somebody that had a value of two ones. If there's anybody who's going to jump in and get somebody for lesser value, it's going to be him to swoop in and get that bargain or Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Mind trick somebody into giving him up for less.

But it's entirely possible something does happen before the draft. Micah got traded on the out, but right before the season.

So it's entirely possible, right, that this could be put back together in a way. But for two ones, with one of them being 14th overall. I think that ship is totally sailed. Clearly. Diana.

Clearly, yeah. I think it's going to be hard. I had a GM last night. I said, Hey, you in the Max thing? What are you doing?

He was like, I'm not calling them. They can call us. Like, you know what I mean?

So, there's going to be a little this cat and mouse thing. Uh, because right now, everyone on the outside's kind of got the upper hand because the Raiders want the business.

Now, look, the Raiders are winning, in a sense, from you still got Max Crosby on your team. That's not a bad consolation prize when you thought that you were shipping the guy off, but I. They certainly wanted those picks. That's part of their process. The Raiders informed teams that were interested in them, the free agents that they spoke with, as well as their representation, that.

This isn't a year coming up that they're going all in for a Super Bowl. Of course, everybody wants to go to the Super Bowl, but they're trying to rebuild this thing the right way. And there's got to be a little bit of patience here as we expect them to take that number one overall pick for a quarterback.

So, you know, now Max is kind of thrusted into a structure or at least an idea of a team that's not. Really being built for someone like Max Crosby right now. But I still think it doesn't hurt for having a young rookie in there to be around a guy like Max, to see the way you operate as a professional football player in the league at a high level, where he is one of the most respected players. He's definitely won that in terms of everyone wanting Max Crosby on their team. All right, before I let you go, I know your phone's blowing up, and I appreciate your ability to multitask, look down text saying I'm on with franchise.

I'm trying to be polite. No, no, no, no, no. I appreciate that. I appreciate that. Before I let you go, though, what's the scoot with Kyler Murray?

When is he going to. Popular. What do you got?

So, this is unless Michael Bidwell just woke up today and was like, wait, everyone in football wants my guy. Why are we cutting him? Make this work. I expect him to be released. And I expect the Minnesota Vikings to be the team to probably pounce and try to bring Kyler in for a physical and to meet with him to figure out if this is something that could work.

As we know that they really want to bring in a veteran guy. They want to improve that quarterback room as well. Of course, J.J. McCarthy is still there.

So I'm expecting that to happen later this afternoon. Diana, thanks for the time. You be well. We'll do this again soon. Appreciate you.

You got to do it. Appreciate you. That's Diana Rossini, Senior NFL Insider for the Athletic right there on the Rich Eisen show. Let me just say this. All right.

What Diana just said. about Eric Da Costa. Starting the wheels on Trey Hendrickson while Max Crosby's still in the building sounds particularly cold, okay? Like you and I both audibly reacted, Chris. You as well, TG.

I heard all of us. I I mean, like, it's one of those like, oh, Boy. Again. It's It's It's It's not great. It's a bad look.

Okay, it's a bad look. Yeah, man. But you know what's worse? that you're made the decision organizationally. internally.

Group thought. All of it. You're calling up maybe Bashati and say, guess what, Steve? We're backing out. You've done that.

You've made this decision. You gonna bring in Max from somewhere in the building first to tell him? Or you're going to start Trey Hendrickson right away before anybody calls him and takes him. You understand what I'm saying? It's cold-hearted.

But it's a cold hearted business. I'm not excusing anything. It's not the way I would want to run. That's not the way I want to do business. That's not the way I want to do it for rich eyes and productions.

That's not the way I want to do it. But I I'm just explaining. How none of this is official. None of it is official. None of it.

You understand? Like Trey Hendrickson could technically back out of his deal with the Ravens. Last second. Oh, somebody just gave me more.

Sorry. It's not official. Until four o'clock Eastern today. All of it, everything we just said is all handshake. And It's the way of the world.

It's the way we do business in the NFL. Once we verbally agree, it's over. Until the physicals Nothing is happening. And then even after the physicals, It's not official. But man.

It's just going to leave a ton of hard feelings. everywhere already has not going to turn back the clock on that You know The Ravens might have lost.

Some players in free agency, but what they definitely lost, as you could hear from everybody, is a ton of respect. And Um Whenever the wherever Max Crosby goes, I hope. He's happy. If he stays put. Hope that makes him happy too.

But wherever he goes, when he takes on a Ravens, Yeah. Yeah. It's going to be lit. And how about this? Uh uh How's it going to be Tom Brady strolling around on the field if he's calling a Ravens game for Fox?

Yeah. Now, when he gets in the booth, I'm sure he's going to be as a pro as pro as he has been nonstop. Bod. This is some hard ass feelings here. They spent 281 million bucks.

And and Thinking Crosby was gone, and Crosby could still be gone, like I said. Right now. It doesn't make sense to do anything but hold on to him, welcome him back. Put them under the cap. Deal with that.

As Diana pointed out, they already know it's a long-term game for them. Sure they could get some players now that could help them now and maybe in long term. But they got Crosby back. And at the end of the day, if he does play for them and starts sacking everybody under the sun and all their moves get made, this may be the moment where, guess what? The Ravens did the Raiders a favor.

Like, this is the sort of thing that could be long-term. Forgotten as well as looked at differently. We'll never forget it, though. I know that, but it'll be looked at in terms of forgotten as in bad blood. Because they did him a favor.

Look at him. He's still there. He's still the condor, and they needed him. And You know, but they don't have a second first round pick this year. Trust me, I'll be mentioning this when the Ravens are on the clock 14th overall when I'm on NFL Network doing the draft coverage that night.

One hundred percent. You know, and I will ask at one point in time as we're just kicking it around: who could the Raiders have taken here that would have helped them? Oh, yeah. You know? Yeah, you will.

And it will be whatever best edge rusher is still left on the board that they would have taken to replace Max Crosby. But long story short, is. It's entirely possible to put this all back together, but right now the blood is bad. 844-204-Rich, number to Dow. Don't go anywhere.

We've got Matthew Hasselbeck joining us top of hour number two to talk about everybody, including Fernando Mendoza, who he hung out with at the Combine. Uh The Rich Eisen Show, the podcast. We'll take your phone calls in the middle of the next hour. Please, hang on. I see everyone's lit.

Phone lines are lit. Just hang on. We'll get to you after Matthew Hasselbuck, I promise. Because we have some Fun to get to here. We're going to join this fray.

if not lead the way. We're seeing them every now and then, right? You got the Raider statement again. This is just, this is fantastic.

Okay, again, so when this came out, and it's just like, wait a minute, is it real? Because it's on. Stationary, Vegas Raiders stationary, and it's just two lines, and it's It's succinct, it's weird, it's potentially fake, but it's real and spectacular, all of it, right? And I understand it's nothing to have. Fun with because they're miserable.

Well, all that's missing was the overhead projector. Yeah. Right. I mean, very Al David. It's a very 21st-century Al Davis.

You know what I mean?

Well, well put.

So we're getting involved in this as well because we have statements to issue, okay? Uh using this as the template. There are new-ish statements that have been made, and we're honored. They chose the Rich Eisen show to be the vehicle to get it out there. We're content creators and distributors all at the same time, RES consulting.

You've been in the game. The Seattle Seahawks have a statement to make. There it is. The Seattle Seahawks have backed out of throwing a pass in the one-yard line in Super Bowl 49. We'll have no further comment at this time.

They have the same stationery as the Raiders. It's really weird. Even the one Seahawks. Yeah, the one Seahawks. Line is circled.

I get that. That makes a lot of sense. Doesn't it make sense? Yeah, it makes a lot of sense. All right, so they're out.

Yeah, they're out. I don't know if you're happy with that as a Patriot fan. Oh, you know, like I said, Dante Hattower makes a tackle anyway.

Okay. So we're good. It's not just NFL teams making statements. The Dallas Mavericks have made a statement. Here we go.

The Dallas Mavericks have backed out of trading Luka Donchich. That's weird. They have no further comment at this time. It seems smart. Yeah, smart vote.

There they go. This stationary card. They're out. They got a great deal. They're on it.

Great thing. They've got great deals with all the leagues. They got more statements. More. No, he's not.

It's not. Carlos Alcaraz has made a statement. He's backed out of playing tennis with Rich Eisen. Oh, come on, dude. No further comment at this time from the ATP tour.

This one. I think after he dropped a set. In Indian Wells, Cooper and Susie were there for that. They witnessed Alcarez drop a set when he got home off like Cooper. He's dropped one set.

Globally, maybe all here and you saw it. He's hearing footsteps. By the way, Cooper played, he played in his high school. Uh tennis team. Uh a match.

where his partner hit the opponent on the fly with a serve. Look, that's my game plan. The strategy. Yeah. I'm sure it was not.

That's my game plan to get a point against Carl. And Cooper knew. That's our point. But it was probably an accident, right? You never know.

Wow, this is a statement. This is old. I don't know how you could take this back. It's very old. The Jenko Olive Oil Company has put out this statement that Sonny Corleone has backed out of his decision to take the Jones Beach Causeway to Carlos' house.

Oh, wow. No further comment at this time. Because you know what you do is you keep everything within the family. Right. Don't let anyone know outside the family what you're thinking.

That's a great move by that's well done. Yeah. It's a good thing they backed out of that. That's smart. Can you reverse that one?

I don't know. Well, it doesn't matter if it's four o'clock Eastern on a Wednesday. I don't think you can back out of that one. No. The olive oil company.

Look what they did. They massacred my boy. And wow, this is a Rich Eisen show statement. No way. Yeah, how about this one?

We got our own statement. Rich Eisen has backed out of his take that the Heat should not trade for Giannis. Oh, interesting. We will have no further comment at this time. See?

Congrats. Yeah, that's a six-year-old take. Yeah. See, had they not listened to you and gotten you on this, he would have had 90 points in the game. Like, he might have shot 50 free throws.

Yeah. It was well-founded. Yeah. Coming out of the bubble, the heat. The heat almost won it all.

Rich, no, it was. You know, it was not. Tyler Hero looked great. He didn't look like Giannis Antente Cupo. All right, those are the statements.

Okay. Those are the statements. Brockman, is there a take you'd want to take back? Good. Get my own takes?

No, every take I've made it. The Boston Red Sox have backed out of their choice to not pay Mookie bets. That's a good one for you. You know, I got one. Yep.

That hasn't aged. You know, I got one. What's yours? The Dallas Cowboys would like to back out of Jerry Jones firing Jimmy Johnson.

Okay. Think about how history would have changed. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah.

You have further comment at this time. Oh, I got a lot. I know what he's talking about. I do. We've got more rings.

I got lots to say.

Well done to the to those teams to just get it off their chest, and we're here for you. We're here for you. I need people on social media to hit us up with their own. Look and see what we got. I've seen a few of them.

These are real, though. Those are real. The Rich Eisen Show Podcast. Mm-hmm.
