I am the heel that you love to hate, O'Shea Jackson Jr., aka Petty Guerrero. Hey, yo, it's me, it's me, it's the TOO, the J-I-G-G, too Jiggy, TJ Jefferson. What up, though? Man. Boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy A whole lot is going on.

We will be letting you guys know. everything that you need to know going into Survivor series. And then we you know, we got um We're going to be here next week, but we do know that it's going to be Turkey Week.

So we will. It's still to be determined when we're going to be dropping our no contest wrestling podcast episode. We're going to be looking to get you guys another guest to take you into Survivor Series weekend. But that's next week. Yeah, but that's next week.

And then today we are also going to be. Talking about just something that's really gotten on my nerves, TJ, because I like that. We've been planting seeds and people are trying to stop our shine, but we'll get to that later. I hear that you have something that you wanted to bring up. Man, this happened last Wednesday.

So, you know, our pod dropped on Wednesday.

So we didn't have a chance to respond, to react to this, man. But I got to give a shout out to Blood and Guts. last week. That was blood and guts. That was That was something else, bro.

Last week, it was it was a bloody, bloody affair. The first ever women's blood and guts match for AEW. The ladies did their thing, man, and it was it truly lived up. The blood and the in the guts name, and those women put theirselves on the map, so to speak. I saw the photos, man, my goodness.

Let me tell you something: it was a lot of blood, it flowed early, it flowed often, yeah, as they said. And you had your hill team, right? And that was made up of the triangle of Tecla, who you know, I love Sky, Julia Hart. We also had Marina Shafir. We had Megan Bain, you know, and Mercedes Monet.

You know, 13 belt at this point, Monet, I believe. Right. You know, then they took on the babyface team, who was Tony Storm, Chris Statlander. We had Willow, you know, one of your personal teams. Willow.

Willow, be careful. Be careful, Willow, please. One of your favorites, Mina, Shirakawa, and Harlan Cameron, and Jamie Hayter and Minnie Monet. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Mini Monet made an appearance in this.

And you just got to give it up to these women, man. They went out there and they put it on the line. And there were some ridiculous spots in there. There was just craziness. There was blood.

It was. It was pretty much everything that I'm sure everybody wanted out of this match. You know, when you got, you know, a bed of nails and barbed wire kendo sticks and, you know, mares being blasted and just glass. You know, you had Tony Storman out there like kickboxer with her hands wrapped in gauze, dipped in glue and glass. Then Marina Shafir took that a step forward and stomped her foot.

The tape in her foot in some glass and kick somebody with it. It was, it was, it was something else. And, like I said, it was a week ago, so it's been talked about, but we haven't mentioned it.

So, I just got to give the women props on that. It was, I've been hearing an amazingly bloody affair. How do you feel about the finish? I hear, I, you know, I heard that.

Okay, the finish was: you wonder what was going on because at one point, Tecla and Julia, I believe it was Joya and Tecla, or was it? Yeah, it was Joya. They climbed through. There was like a hole in the steel cage. They were able to make their way through, which, you know, most of the guys couldn't get through, maybe Darby.

They'd be too big, right? And so you're wondering what's going on. And then at one point, Forget who it was. start throwing all the face girls out of the ring at the end of the match, right?

So it was essentially what was left in the ring. Because Statlander put Mercedes through a table, so they basically took those two out. And then at the very end of the match, you had Marina Shafir, who's holding Mina in the mother's milk submission.

So she's got her down, while Megan Bain, at one point, Mercedes bought all of her belts to the ring. Then she took like four of them, or five of them, and she threw them in the ring for partners to use.

So at this point, Megan Bain picks up a belt while Tony Storm is being held. by Tecla Skye Julia. And she's being made to forced to watch Mina, her best friend, her lover, get absolutely choked out by Marina and then get the crap beaten out of her by Megan with these belts. Tony had to, she had to give up, man. She was trying to save her girl, and she submitted, and that gave the Hill team the win.

But it was pretty good strategy. It made sense why they were getting the other girls out of the ring, and then they locked the cage back up so they couldn't get in. There's roof to it.

So, yeah, it was pretty smart. It was a smart play by the Hill team. Look, they got over, man. And uh but yeah, props props saw the women in that match. Absolutely.

Well done. And and that's available on uh what is what are you guys on yeah. Definitely definitely have to check that out because the I Whether it be WWE or AEW, when the women get an opportunity, even TNA as well. Uh NXT, like when the women get their opportunity And especially in a situation like that where it's a first. Yeah.

They go all out. They go all out. Women's wrestling as a whole, sometimes, man, fellas, you got to step up. You got to step up because the ladies are bringing it.

So, yeah, shout out to everybody involved in that.

Now, I do want to ask you because. In the women's and the men's. You got Tony giving up. You got Moxley giving up. Which is kind of interesting, right?

Arguably the two biggest stars on each side. Do you look at that as. Because obviously everyone on on Lawn is going to have their things to say about it. Is that Kind of a uh Passing to the new guard situation for you, or is it more of a just like showing that anybody can get it? I think less of a passing of a guard and more of like yeah, because Kyle O'Reilly is not necessarily new guard, you know.

And I've not been quiet about this, you know, especially on Twitter throughout the years. I'm a big Kyle O'Reilly fan, man.

So, to see, and we kind of jumped ahead, but at the end, men's blood and guts, which is everything you would expect with Darby Island. And I mean, pop. Threw him through a flaming table. Like that was tough, by the way. That was a tough spot.

I'll get to your question, but like, looking back, like. It seemed like Darby was on fire for five minutes. It was like I'm sitting there like somebody put, I'm at home. Like, I'm kind of panicked for him because he gets thrown through this table. He sits up.

You can see his shorts and his back are on fire. He rolls over, and I'm assuming someone would be there with an extinguisher or a blanket. It probably was five seconds, but it felt like five minutes. And it was just fire will do that to you. But that was ridiculous.

Everything that was going on in the ring. And of course, it ended with Kyle O'Reilly. And I showed you this right before the show. He made a move on Moxley where Kyle O'Reilly transitioned from an art bar. To a heel hook to the angle lock.

And that's how we got Moxley to submit and tap out. And I always love the leg rap. Yeah. Like Kyle Rowley's very underrated. I don't think he gets enough love.

I like the kind of same thing I would say about solo: like, solo being funny. Is ridiculously funny, and it kind of takes away from the monster that Solo should be, right? Same thing with Kyle. Kyle kind of does like the goofy thing, you know, and it kind of takes away from the viciousness. Yeah.

So I was, like I said, I was happy to see he's the one that got the win. For the team, they stood tall. And to answer your question, I don't think it's more a passing of the torch, more like you said. This just goes to show you in these types of matches in this company, anybody can take the fall. Like, you know, and I got to give them props for that to have your arguably two of your biggest stars.

Be the one shit. And props to the stars for agreeing. Yeah, no. Because we've seen wrestling a lot of times, if a no go a long way.

So, um, yeah, yeah, absolutely. Kudos to everybody involved in a match like that because At the end of the day, it's for our entertainment, sitting on the couch, clapping our hands.

So, shout outs to everybody involved. Yeah, so good stuff with AEW and Blood and Guts. And if you haven't seen it, I suggest you check it out, man, because it's definitely worth watching. Maybe the kids don't necessarily need to see, you know, that. I don't know, but whatever, though.

Yeah, yeah. Hey, my kids. Anyway. That's great to hear. That's terrible.

So.

Next. TJ, yeah man, when I tell you I needed This Monday Night Raw. I needed this Monday Night Raw like Just a jolt. We were talking about a shake-up needs to happen. Like, I'm starting to feel like I'm seeing the.

Mm-hmm. Same things kind of play out. Um Notably because the vision is a little weak. But listen. Little shot at the vision.

You know how I do everybody. I figured you would like the vision though. You figured. But Monday Night Raw, I have always been complaining since really the Netflix move. That Raw never has good endings.

And not good endings, as in that ending was terrible, but just like. It's always heel on top. It just felt like it was constantly being heel on top, heel on top. But man oh man. When I tell you The end of Raw, and we'll get to because there's some other great things that happened at the beginning of Raw, but we got to go to the moneymaker.

The ending of Raw. Right, you want to skip everything that happened in the beginning? Oh, no, we're going there. We're going there. But I'm just, I know what the clicks is for right now.

And we got to talk about the fact that at the end of that, I was like, this isn't even a main event. You got the vision coming out with their new teammates in Logan Paul, and then Drew McIntyre. And then I realized there's no table in the ring. This isn't like a. Contract signing.

This isn't like a. What are we doing? And then it came time for you know the face team got the usos. Yeah, my man CM Punk. Punk came out without the title.

When Punk came out without the title, I was like, well. What are we doing? Who do you think you are? Jon Moxley? Why are you coming out without the title?

Then the Usos, and then Cody came out without his title. And then I realized Are we just about to scrap? There's nothing going on. There's no reason. It's just like, face off, what does that mean?

We really just about to scrap. And so I was like, all right, here we go. It's like no, there was no rhyme or reason. There was no nothing organized, nothing put together. You got them, we start going at it.

I'm just like, all right, this is how we're going to end raw. And then punk. Is in the ring. Who's he beating up? Logan?

'Cause Logan is giving it to him in the corner. Pause. And then uh you know punk is retaliating and then The scariest guitar riff in the business happens. That sound of a electric Tyrannosaurus Rex. That Brock Lesnar music hits.

And immediately My first thought is. I knew it. And the second thought was They're really going to pull out Roman. They're really gonna get Roman back. Like in my mind, Roman said, I don't want to see y'all until Christmas.

All right. I don't know how they do Christmas in Samoa. But it's a it's a specific day every year. And Then it it Brock comes out, does Brock things. And then you see the little credits.

You saw the credits, you know, that Paul Levesque, an executive producer. Yeah, you're like, so now you're thinking, oh, there's no way. No disrespect. No disrespect to Oklahoma City. Yeah.

So we're in New York. And I thought, there's no way they're saving Roman for Oklahoma. We got to wait till they're in Oklahoma and then TJ the drums of liberation and Roman Reigns. I'm not running to the ring. No, Roman, not running reins.

Comes walking with the Allen Iverson sleeve on, like it's 2001. comes out and Brock Had a loose suck on that face. Kind of looked around. Like, oh, hold on now. Because I don't know if people are aware back at home.

But in their last four meetings, Roman Reigns is 4-0 against Brock Lesnar.

So, like, you know, let's just put that in perspective. And by the way, I know on Twitter. I said that Roman was 4-0 and Cody won his last three. Cody lost one of those. All right.

It's an easy mistake. At least, you know, I'm saying it from memory and I'm not looking it up and pretending like I just know this information. Then a bunch of people are going to be like, well, why wouldn't you look it up? Shut up. Anyway, I digress.

Cody and Roman are both formidable opponents for Brock Lesnar's team because right now I don't know who thinks they're in charge. It's Brock's team.

So Now we have What is just a disgusting lineup? You have The Usos The world heavyweight champion in CM Punk, The WWE champion in Cody Rhodes. And Roman reigns versus the vision, Logan Paul, the underappreciated Drew McIntyre. And brock. A lessener.

R You joking me. This is the type of stuff. that you do on 2K. Like this don't, this shouldn't, they, you don't even go here. Like, it just shouldn't.

It should not be this heavy of a match. And honestly, for a second, TAJ. I was kind of sad Seth Rollins is hurt. I was kind of sad Seth Rollins. Because he deserved to be in this shit.

Yeah, like, you know, no disrespect to Logan. Logan, I texted Logan right after. I said, do you know, as a wrestling fan, Uh how annoyingly lucky you are. Like, it just pisses me off. The cool shit he gets to do.

And, like, he, ah, my God. You get to be a part of probably one of like the craziest War Games match I ever seen. I can't think of another Survivor Series match where I've been like, both sides look like they shouldn't lose. They shouldn't lose. And it is everything that uh you want, it went off like an attitude era raw.

I tweeted, raw is war. I text. Paul. I was like, dog, this is what I'm talking about, baby. Paul, Chef Levesque, cooking it up.

This is what I am talking about. Put it in my veins. And we are in for a real treat. Um Survivor Series We'll be on ESPN. Just saying.

If Mickey, if you're listening, we need tickets. We need tickets. But yeah.

Now you talk. To quote the great Jay-Z. What more can I say? Oh my God. Look, man, it was one of those things where I'm not going to lie to you.

Maybe I should keep this to myself, but I don't care. I'm going to share it with all y'all because you're our friends. I don't say fans. I say friends of the show. The kendo stick just fell again.

I'm going to leave it there. Right. Ghosts. When Brock came out. And I know there's still people, they have their feelings about Brock Lester.

Some people feel very strongly about it. Respect, however, way you feel. I'm just concentrating about what's going on in that ring because legally I don't know everything that's going on.

So I don't really, can't really touch on it. But. He comes out and it's just like, oh, Heyman. And then I'm like, you, I'm like, all right, so we got a week left. We'll get, I guess we'll get Roman next week.

And all right, Brock comes in, and he's just, like I said, like the Prometheus. What is it? Oh, the engineer. The Prometheus engineer. That's what the man's built like.

Human beings shouldn't be built like this man. He veiled lots of hay at some point. And then all of a sudden, like you said, Roman's music came on. And here is a reenactment of me in my apartment on Monday night watching this, sitting on the couch when Roman's music hit. Give me like a 3-2, and I'll.

Rocket three. Two. One I'm a fish. Yeah. Ah How is my reaction as yours, mine, and our?

Bro. Tribal chief made his way, like you said, stunt with the arms band on. Looking a little bit light, though. Is he filming a movie? He didn't look as brawlic as it usually did, but that didn't matter because, you know, the tribal chief has a presence and he made his way to the ring, like you said.

And then you just realize, oh, it's about to be on because what? This has been going on for what, 12, 13 years between him and Brock. And I know some people are tired of it. I ain't. You know what I mean?

Why would that be 12? It's not like it's something we get every week. No. You know, not even every year. No, exactly.

You know? Exactly. But man, when you got Godzilla and King Kong ready to bang it out, you got to let them do it.

So.

Yeah, man, you see these teams and it was on and popping, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what goes down.

Now, tell me if you're also like me, folks, out there, and you and I haven't discussed this yet. At one point Roman and Brock are starting to size each other up. And it looks like, you know, they're saying stuff to one another. There was a part of me, and it might have been that much of a part. And let me know if you actually had this phone too.

There was a part of me that, for us, Not even a split second. It was about 30 seconds where I went. Yo, wouldn't it be wild if these two shook hands? Shook hands? Did you remind me?

Is that how you felt too? Bro, I was like, I haven't talked to anybody about this, but the way they were looking, they weren't in attack mode right away, and they were sizing each other up, and Brock was saying something, and Roman's shaking his head, and I was like, yo, is there a chance? That we're getting and my thought was, well, we'll get a swerve like. One of them will join the other, but who's going to join who? Roman's not going to leave the Usos, but Brock might want to screw over Paul, but then you can't put Brock on this team because what are you going to do?

What are you going to do? But man, there was a split second where I was like, you know, when McMahon and Austin shook hands, and you thought that could never happen. It was like, there was a lot of respect being had. And there was a moment where I was like, could you imagine? And right now, I don't have to imagine because it didn't happen.

But that would have been too much to handle. Yeah, oh, yeah. No, no, just for the simple fact that Paul Hayden. By the way, Paul Heyman, you got to have your head on a swim, right? Like right now, like this yeah.

You got guys everywhere. Like, guys you've done stabbed in the back, guys, he was cool with, like. This is the It's the Paul Heyman bowl. Right. It was so many.

Like Roman coming out and Brock coming out and You got punk, and you got Drew. I was ready to hear Cena's music again. I was ready to hear. Like it was just so. much electricity and when it went off I remember screaming.

Because like... I thought this was Netflix. I don't have a time slot. Why are we going off?

Now I have to go online like a stalker and look up people's home videos to see what went down because I know we didn't just go home and they went crazy. The NYPD's finest caught some kendo sticks. That's hitting air. I'm pretty sure it had air, didn't it? Bro, not the ones I saw.

I did see Roman Spear 2. That was cool. But like, they had a full-on brawl afterwards. I had to see NYPD body cam. Come on, that was amazing.

Also, though, I know the cops were out there because I was like, some of these uniforms look way too brand new. You got to, here's just in the wardrobe, you're very busy. Just something to take into consideration. Iron all the creases out. Like, those uniforms look like they just got pulled out of a bag, right?

So it was like, I feel like some of them were real. And then some of them you could tell, okay, these are the plants because the forms were off a little bit to me. This was probably one of the. Most. Um older black men things you've ever said.

I heard some of these creatures. Does it look too good? Wait a minute now. Come on, man. You out there on the beat.

I understand you out there. On the beat. I just knew. I was like, hold up.

Some of these cats look like they cops playing cops. And then, you know, they brought out our favorite weapon, the Kendo stick. And the Kendo stick got a lot of play. That whole night that whole night person shout out to the kendo stick to the you know who who makes him mattel who the hell makes kendo uh mr kendo i think yeah mr kendo yeah shout out to kendo who made the kendo stick it was you can tell if you want to call it you know however you want to call it this date yes it's john cena's last raw we haven't even gotten to him no but you could tell this date You know, my mom said, Oh, yeah, he's not playing around. Like, Triple H is not playing around with this one.

You could tell that it was just like, listen. I just wish I could be a fly on a wall for that meeting. Can we get that like garden? We're gonna go nuts. Like, we're gonna go all out.

I want everybody there. I want everybody, all hands on deck, and y'all gonna go nuts. And Like I said, it felt like when I was a kid. When I was a kid, and there's a famous video out there of like one day a SmackDown went off where Taker comes out, Angle, Stone Cold, Rocked, like everybody just comes out, hits their finisher. It kind of felt like that again.

And I tweeted this: to be a kid going to school on Tuesday. And having to talk to your friends about that, you can't wait to hit the yard, boy. Like, it, it. It's those It's those moments you can't do them all the time or they're not special. But when you get them, it is a jolt in the back.

They are setting this up, and we still got a whole week. We still got a whole week of setup that they got to do. We got to talk about what happened last Monday. They are, they brought it, man. Smackdown, get up.

Yeah, they got no choice. Like, my goodness. It's going to be an amazing night at Survivor Series. I cannot wait for this match. I cannot believe this match is happening.

We still have to see who gets the advantage, who gets the advantage in the War Games match. That's going to happen next week. Boy, and I'm in another thing, just a side personal note: being co-host of the No Contest Wrestling Podcast, do you know how? Good and happy I am. That we got to talk about this two days later instead of a week later, yeah, right?

Right, Wednesdays, man. Glad to be back. That's neither here nor there. But the point, we're here. We here and uh Yeah, and you do kind of have to wonder what it would look like if the whole Seth thing didn't happen.

Obviously, the vision would still be together. You would imagine. You would imagine you'd have the title. Yeah, so that injury really changed so much, man. You'd have the Raw's title on the heels, you'd have SmackDown's title on the faces.

But now you got two face champions, you know, which is interesting. Stacked. But yeah, man, let's see. Let's see where this is going. See what happens.

If you're going to ask me, I feel like right now, for some reason, I'm leaning towards the Hill team. Yeah. But who knows? We'll see. We'll see.

Man, that's just a lot of. That's a lot of star power to be losing. On both sides really, but yeah, but like I could Let me think about that. What I just said, I respect the Logan, but I'm going to see Logan a band. Wait a second.

Well, they ain't going to do that. Roman punk and Cody Long. Yeah, wait a minute. Let me rethink this. That's crazy.

I'll get back to you next week. In the morning. I got to sit on it. Think about it. Pause.

But yeah, man, whatever happens, we're going to be here for it and we're down. Right. But now let's get to the show. They kicked the show off live from the world's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden. Yeah.

And the last time is now, and that horn hit. And then out comes John Cena. And it was a moment. Look, I don't know if I'm ever going to be on the John Cena's The Greatest of All Time train. You know me.

Goes into that. There's two, and that's on a knock on Cena. What it is, it's me not wanting to disrespect the legends that came before him who all have. a legitimate argument for them being yeah the greatest of all time right So I just don't know if I'm on that train now yet, but I will say for longevity purposes, he probably is when it comes to that. No one in WWE has had a two-decade run on top.

Other than Bruno San Martino holding the belt for 11 years. First of all, people were complaining about Roman having a thousand. Day rain, do you realize Bruno San Martino had four 1000-day rains? Yeah, like. Come on, yeah, man.

And not being on TV every week helps that. Yeah, it does. But still, that's still eight years and then three years, like. And he sold out the garden more times than I think anyone, including Bernard King, Patrick Ewing, and Carmelo Anthony.

So, you know, so it's hard for me to say that he's the greatest of all time, but longevity-wise, man, you have to give it to him. No one's been on top. As long as he has, even though there was like a solid eight-year period there where he pretty much was part-time, you know, he went, I think, what was it, like seven years without winning a match? That was crazy. Right?

How insane was that?

So he comes out. And, you know, he's doing the talking, and all of a sudden, you hear the music. Boom. Lestaya! And here comes the 20-year vet.

Yeah, I'm glad you know his song. The future goat. I still be like, especially Judgment Day. Judgment Day, I'd be like, what the hell? Who the hell is that?

Oh, yeah, it's them again. But here comes the former Intercontinental champion. The former doesn't feel good. Dirty Dominic Mysterio. And Dom comes down.

And the thing we, I don't know if we really touched on last week as much was. Mm-hmm. The greatness that is Dom. Dom stood up in front of John Cena and he said everything with his chest. He wasn't afraid.

You know, he went out there and he, I think that was a star-making turn, even though he's already a star to you and I. The fact that you went in there, got in the mic, stood toe-to-toe with Cena, then had the match, really good Intercontinental Championship match. Um And you figure a rematch should be in the cards, and that's exactly what's going to happen. But Dom's like, nah, we're going to do this on my terms in my hometown, Survivor Series, in San Diego.

So now we're going to get that rematch, right? And it kind of Makes you realize that Dominic Mysterio is going to have three of John Cena's last four matches. And I say three because, as you know, We got a six-man tag. Yeah. We got a six-man tag that night as JD came down and Finn came down and the Judgment Day came down to back up Dom as they should.

But then we got Seamus and then Rey Mysterio Jr. came out. And I'm telling you, the crowd was on fire for this. And then Cena's like, you won a match? Here we go.

You got three. I got three. You know, let's do this.

So, man, that was. The crowd popped. It was a really fun match. To see Ray and Seamus and Cena take on Judgment Day and um. Man, it was, you know, when you.

Oh man, it's kind of weird. I was going to say something else, but I realized the bottom line is it's weird to really realize that this, you're never going to see a guy who's beaten John Cena two times for a championship and Seamus. People, I don't think a lot of people even realize that. And then you got Rey Mysterio, who, you know, good to see Ray isn't harboring ill will over that time. He was the world champion for about half a show.

He wins the show in the title in hour one, and then Cena gets a title match in hour three and beats him. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know if I'd ever get over that. Yeah, yeah, that's 16 and a half. That's 16 and a half.

Right. But yeah, man.

So, and that's when wrestling becomes fun. There was really, was there a real reason for this match? I don't know if there was, but other than. This is fun. Let's send John out.

Let's get as many people involved as we can because he's not going to be in there with Ray anymore. He's not going to be in there with Seamus anymore. And let's just have a fun wrestling match. And I think they accomplished that. Yeah, people have to understand.

Is WWE is no Like it it's not new for them to do something like this. Every now and then You gotta. Go out there with Let's just give the people what they want. Let's just give the people a feel-good goodbye on Raw. To John.

I see a lot of people bickering like this is what they did for his last match on Raw, guys. Do we not remember what he put his body through with that Cody match? That Cody match where Cody won the title back and how crazy that was. The man is already telling you that he's lost his step and all that. That's the only reason why he's retiring.

He recently said that these aren't necessarily even on his terms because he wants to do more, but I just physically. I lost the step, you know? Which him losing a step is still better. You know, like another sports term, it's still better than 75, 80% of everybody else, but it's not 100% of you. But if I know that my last match, Like it In a world where my last match is on a AP A half PLE with you know Saturday Night Main event, but we know what this is all gearing up to.

On top of, I just announced that I'm about to be at Survivor Series 2 with this with a title match for Dom. You know, I have this tournament and I have people that I wanted. Probably to give one of these last dates to in Seamus and Rey Mysterio that I probably couldn't get to, or we couldn't find the avenue to do it.

So let's do it on the last raw. Let me tag with him at least. He respects them so highly.

So I want to work with them one last time. And let's go out on a bang. The crowd was hyped. It's the start of the show. It's it's harmless.

And I know that we fantasy book This is like The 30th time I've brought it up, I know that in your head you think, like, oh, it should be.

Some classic that he goes out on for his last raw, but you gotta think that he's saving himself up for something because he's about to do the real goodbye in a month.

So, like, it's okay, dude. It's okay for him to want to go out like that with his buddies. Uh Once again, to go back to Dominic Mysterio, I think the key thing with Dom, the way that the reason why Dom is able to. stand on his own No matter who's in front of them, is because It's not a character. He has a unique opportunity where he gets to be out there and be himself.

And that's the best, like, that's the best ammunition you could give somebody. And not everybody could do that because not everybody has a natural charisma the same way that a Dominic Mysterio does. There's certain people that just got it, that just got the charm, that just got the. That coolness factor. And he got it.

And so he doesn't need a character necessarily written up for him. He could go out there and do what he feels, whether that be on Monday Night Raw or. Confusing the host of first take when he goes on there. By the way. You saw how we handled the interview with him.

That's for the No Contest fans. But yeah, so Dom, the 20-year vet. Been around the business is in a pocket that most people at his age in the business don't get to have, then it's because he. He lives it. He lives this the same way that John does when Triple H was running down all the reasons why John is the greatest of all time in Boston.

For a second, I was like. Oh. That's what they look at. That's what they're looking at. Because when you think about all the things that you're.

The boxes, the boxes that need to be checked in order for somebody to be a superstar. He's so high on the list. It's like when. You're looking at the statistics of LeBron, and he's on. You're on the assist list, and you're on the three-point list, and you're on this list, and you're.

That's their argument. And John. John is a four-star in most of the boxes that you need. And so, like, that, that. That's box office.

My greatest of all time just happened to end the show. Because you know, my, you're our tribal chief, baby. 1,316 days I could go on. But Let John go out that way on the raw. We know what he's gearing up for.

Dom and him going to put on a banger, I'm sure, in Dom's hometown. which is also the home of the Padres. Gross. But yeah, I'm excited. I'm happy with the way that John went out on his final raw in the most famous arena, not the greatest arena.

But the most famous Go Lakers. Staples is not close to being the greatest. It's crypto. Staples. I'm surprised that you would even argue that.

I just want you to be wrong.

Well, I'm not. We both know I say staples. I don't they don't know that though. They know me. You call it crypto, see?

I love you. Anyway, look, let's not discount what I said though. Dominic Mysterio. was found worthy enough. If you've shopped online, chances are you've bought from a business powered by Shopify.

The prior Monday, right?

He's shaking everybody's hands. He talks to Ray. Congratulations. He talked to Ray. He talked to Rick.

And Ray was like, he deserved that ass kicking. And remember what John said? Tell us, TJ. He said no, he's a good kid. Hopefully this helps them figure it out.

So right then in there, it tells you he must have, he must see something. Really great in Dom because anyone could have gotten these dates with him, right? Anyone. But for some reason, it was Dominic Mysterio that was chosen. To really, like I said, three out of his four last four matches are going to be with Dom.

You can't overlook that, man. That's not done by accident. You know what I'm saying? And for a lot of John's farewell tour, I know because you and I, we read. Almost all the comments on social media.

A lot of people haven't been happy with the way that this last. People mad about the hill turn.

Well, People wanted it for so long, right?

So you might not have been happy with the way it played out, but at least he's still crazy. At least he tried it. At least you know it happened.

So therefore, you can't say. Basically, you can't say it was Never Hill anyway, because. Started Dr. Thugdom because he was a heel. He was a heel up until he became the U.S.

champion, you know, back in WrestleMania 22. Yeah, bro. He stopped doing the heel stuff when he started filming the Marine. Right? So, but yeah, so shout out to Dom for getting the love.

And I guess the, and you're going to say pause, I know, but getting the rub. Pause, can you? That was coming. But yeah, so it's going to be interesting now.

Well, we'll talk about that later as the match goes on. But let's let's side note about Dominay Mysterio, just to talk about how great of a guy he is. Do you remember who his debut singles match was against? Debut single wasn't it against it was it was during the Thunderdog. Dominic Mysterio's first singles match.

They let him go one-on-one with Seth Rollins. That's right. That The dude is good. The dude is trusted. Yeah.

And he's got the skill set. I asked AJ Styles last week, who's somebody that he knows when I get in there, I can trust them. Basically turn your brain off. And he said Finn Balor immediately. I wonder down the road how many people are going to say Dominic Mysterious.

It's going to be quite a few, I'm sure, by the time it's all said and done.

Next up, we had Nikki Bella. She, you know, we sure turned on Stephanie. We saw that coming. And then, you know, Stephanie was about to come down, make a little entrance, and Nikki was like, uh-uh. She kind of put the beat down there, you know, right.

at the Eagles fans, boy. And basically said that, you know, she she's not here for play. Right. She's coming for that title.

So, you know, we're going to get that match at Survivor Series, Nikki Bella against Stephanie Vacare. I'm excited. Yeah. And then Oscar in the back. Try to uh convince Bailey.

to come on her team. And Elsa said something like, I'm willing to forgive you if you. Yo, you're so toxic. The gaslighting is crazy. And of course, Bailey seemingly turned her down because we still remember what happened, you know, with damage control.

So, and then she snapped into calling her.

So then we have the Last Time Is Now tournament that's continuing. We got Solo. He's coming down and he's in the ring. He's waiting. And, you know, there's been all types of speculation.

Who could this be? Was it Edge? Was it Jericho? Was it Bob Backlund? You know, was it Stan Hansen?

A lot of people had a lot of, you know, thoughts. And then I'm here to show my world. I'm here. Ah! And then that Dolph Ziggler music hit, and the garden lost its bro.

It exploded. Exploded. Nick Nemeth, aka formerly known, maybe better known as Dolph Ziggler, made his return, his first match in WWE since May of 2023. Yeah, man, two years, two years. And he, shout out to the boys over at Busted Open, but he spoke about how you have.

You know, wrestlers, they got that ego.

So you wonder, are they going to care? Yeah. Boy, let me tell you. They cared. The pop.

that he got was so well deserved. And That dude goes. We were. Remember when we were in guerrilla? For TNA.

And we saw him bouncing around, having a conversation mid, just like. Couldn't stay still. And that guy loves it. He loves it so much. And Part of me knew.

Part of me knew solo was getting that. You knew. But like. He made me believe for a second.

Well, that's what Nick does. That's what he's doing. That's what he does, man. He's, you know, in his generation, he's going to go down as maybe the greatest seller. A long time, right?

And I mean, look, we see how this is going with this TNA thing. AJ thought that, like, Last week, AJ Styles said he didn't think he'd be able to go back to TNA to have a match against Mike Santana, which we'll talk about that year. That kind of disappointed us. But he said he didn't think he'd gonna do it because it was gonna open up the floodgates. And now you have TNA talent in Nick Nemith and Dolph Ziggler coming.

And yeah, man, you want to be a little bit more than a we'll get to that too, man. But um. Yeah, it was kinda written on the wall that He wasn't going to get the win, but man, he made believers out of everybody. For a second, and that's what it's about. That dude goes, man.

Shout out to Nick Nemeth, aka. The Nimethus.

So, yeah, so he took an L, but did he really? Did he really take an L? I don't know. Oh, man. In this tournament, he did, but like, he.

Stock is not that the stock was down, but it rose significantly again after. Also, another key example. of an entrance music. Shitting on all the new interest musics there are because my God, the instant rush. It's going to stall.

What is it like? People had to think. I know. You didn't even have to put his video up. They know that song, though, and it was beautiful.

It is like you don't, you won't know unless I guess maybe you play your TV loud enough or you go. But that jolt. When you hear a song you ain't heard in a long time. And that pop it gives you, it is an out-of-body experience, bro. Like you are, you're not in control of your emotion, and you just scream.

Yeah, and you know what, since you brought it up, even though this was SmackDown the week before, let's talk about that. Ellie Knight in the ring, he's waiting on an opponent. Like you said, all these names are popping around in your mind, who could be, and then you hear, woo-woo-woo, you know it. And it was like, what? Here comes Zach Long Island zone.

The internet champion, Zach Ryder. And again, it was a pop. People love seeing him out there, whether he's Matt Cardone or whether he's Zach Ryder. He's a guy who you have to respect. This too, because he was a guy.

who use the internet. In a way that only at that point, I think Matt Hardy had really put a stronghold on, right? Matt Hardy was the first one to really use the internet to help, you know, further along his character. And that's what Zach did. Like, you remember him climbing over the fence.

He's making these videos. What are you doing? I'm trying to get over. You know, and he was doing all these things to kind of get. Himself over when the company wasn't trying to pull him over.

And it kind of seemed like it was almost to his detriment because they. Seems like, and that was the word, they don't want you to get over, but he did. He got himself over. And then, you know, he let go and he went out and he's had a. Incredibly successful career on the independent scene.

So it was good to see him get a shot to come back with. L.A. Knight, a guy who, you know. The same thing with him. He spent years trying to get to WWE, putting in great work and different.

multiple companies all around the world. Of course, LA Knight gets the win, but I'm not the first to say this. I've seen it on social media. I was thinking it when the match was going on. If he's staying right there, you have a tag team.

I was about to say, they're basically the same dude.

Well, not only that, you got a tag team name. LA Knight, Zack Ryder. Let's call up David Hasselhoff. Let's call up Kit. Let's call him Knight Rider.

Night Rider. Come on. Come on. Hello, Michael.

So, Night Rider. Let's let's Night Rider would be hard. Right? So, let's get them in. Yeah, man.

It's basically like watching Scorpion and Sub-Zero team up. When they showed their renderings next to each other, I was like, huh. Same dude. Yeah, right.

So, shout out to Dolph Ziggler and shout out to Zach Ryer, man. And it just goes to prove the people who haven't forgot you. They probably never will. And then it makes you remember. Remember when uh Punk and Cena were having their their Uh beef.

And Cena did his version of the pipe bomb. Uh-huh. He said Hey, Matt Cardona. Hey, Nick Nimeth. And look.

And then now you're thinking about like, did he tell me the whole time? Right. Did he tell me the whole time? Yeah, dude. Tell me everything.

So I was so happy, bro. I was so happy to see Dolph. Yeah, that was good stuff. What a good dude. And then after that, Alexa Bliss got in the ring and she cut a fire promo.

Yeah. Tried to be like, yo, Charlotte, what's the deal here? Yeah, tie your shoes, quit tripping. Right. You are my friend, and you're going to sit there and you're going to walk out on me, blah, blah, woo, woo.

And then talk to me like I'm short. And of course, you know, here'll come the hill team, Lash, Nia, Kabukis. They come out. Only big body. Big body.

Big body. Big mama. Big bomb, come in. Yeah, bro. Big mama.

Whooping ass. And then you got Rio and I. They're going to come down and they're going to try to save Alexa. And then finally, Charlotte comes out carrying the kendo stick. Charlotte put in work with the kendo stick.

And then at the end, she picks Lexi up, gives her a hug. And EO showing why she must be protected at all costs and should never be a hill anymore. She's kind of like, oh, you have a best friend, me too. And she went and hugged Rena. And you had to laugh.

And it was so funny that Charlotte, who's. Probably trying to be serious at the moment. Just came and could cut, she just cracked up rap and looking at EO just. Wrap yourself around Rhea. Like, I got a friend too.

So, um. You know, we got our four. It seemingly okay. It looks like Charlotte's going to come around.

So now we got four on four, but we know it's going to be five on five.

So, what do we do? Later on in the show, we see.

Well, after a match, should we get into that? Yeah, we'll just say after a match, AJ Lee was backstage and Rhea came up to her. It's like, hey, can we? She turned into Tevin Campbell. She's like, can we talk for a minute?

And then AJ's like, yeah, of course.

So that lets you know right then and there, AJ Lee's going to be the fifth woman on the face team, which automatically means. That the fifth for the Hill team is probably going to be a person who, if you listen to her on social media, was done dirty. She's got legal cases out there. She's contacted lawyers. She's looking into things that weren't fair, and that's.

Becky Lynch, because Becky. She's taking legal action. She's got her concerns. She's also the greatest women superstar in wrestling. But it's not just her that says that.

No, no, no, no. Bleach Report said it. Bleach Report, ESPN, Sports Illustrated said it. Sports Illustrated said it too. Yeah, I mean, no contest wrestling may have said it at one point earlier.

If you get on, if you be a guest, we got the Intercontinental Championship match. We got Maxine Dupree taking on not only Becky Lynch, but Jessica Carr, the referee, who doesn't like Becky Lynch, you know, and fast count carrot. And I got to be honest with you, you know, as you guys know, because you've seen it, it was last week or a few days ago, Maxine Dupree with probably the biggest championship upset since I don't even know when. Becomes the new women's intercontinental champion, defeating Becky Lynch. After AJ leaves, music hit and she came down to the ring and she distracted.

She was just a spectator. Look, but Becky Lynch tried to toast. She didn't have a manager's license. We are in New York, they have a commission. You can't come down to the ring unless you're a manager.

AJ didn't have that, the proper picture. Paperwork to be down there. And that's why Becky got distracted. And that's why she lost her match. And that's why she's in an uproar.

And that's why lawsuits are coming. And I've got to be honest with you. I think I'm on Becky's side on. I love AJ, but I'm on Becky's side on that. We have to look at the tape.

Did she stop at the bottom of the ramp or did she go all the way to the ramp?

Well, she went down the aisle, though. You see?

So, look, I don't know what the legal proceedings will be, but I think Becky has a case here. I just got to be honest with you. Oh, man. Boy, we said we would never speak legalese on this show. We said that's as far as it went.

That's as far as it goes. Yeah, shout out to Maxine Dupree. Look, I know you popped. I gotta be honest with you. I don't know how I felt.

I understand the desire to build up a new champion and build someone up. But when you look at the amount of talented women out there, Who could have been in that spot and gotten that IC title? It kind of makes me at least scratch my head, like, you know. Becky doesn't have a belt. Lyra doesn't have a belt.

You know, Chin doesn't have a belt. There's a lot of talented women. Who could have had that rub, and they gave it to Maxine.

So we'll see how she does. You know, I feel like she has come a long way. Remember, she got booed out of the building on a few occasions, legitimately. Yeah. But you could tell she's worked hard to get where she's at.

The fam seem to be behind her. You know, that's that.

So I've seen a lot of. Watching WWE over the years, you've seen a lot of women who got the look. And no matter how much training they say that they've done, nothing changes. We see change happening with Maxine. It's wonderful opportunity to be able to do that in the garden.

Yeah, man. In the garden, they didn't have you out in, you know, you didn't win it in Tucson. Right. Sorry, Arizona. This is big time, man.

Yeah, yeah. You win it in the garden.

So.

It's an amazing moment for her and you know, all of her loved ones. Uh, I do want to point out that she got a singles championship before Trad Gable. That's just funny for the storyline. That's just funny for the storyline, but uh, yeah, dude. That's your new women's intercontinental champion.

Hilarious in all the comedic. Displays that we've seen that team, but now you got some gold. You're going to have to be fighting for real.

Now they're coming for you. Yeah, because there's a lot on that mid-card that want that shine. The U.S. title is on Chelsea Green. You got the Intercontinental on Maxine.

They both can't be funny. Yeah, right.

But we got to have these mid-card titles still looking like they're valuable pieces of hardware.

So we'll see. Yeah, we'll see. All right, man, so next up we have... The last time is now tournament match. We're the young OG.

Yeah. Devoyed Evans. And Javon's already in the ring when we come back from commercial. By the way, this Netflix, like, it was like six commercials in a row. Like, come on, Netflix.

I thought we didn't have to have commercials, yo. And I don't like that. Like, when I tweet about it. People are like, Oh, I forget that you guys have commercials. What do you have?

Yeah, well, here's why I figured out: if you're watching live, live, then you get to commercials. If you watch. Like, cause there's been times where I've started raw like an hour later, or maybe after it's gone off, and I think. At that point, you don't get the commercials. That is career, right?

So, yeah, because for a while, I was watching Raw at my discretion, you know, whenever I felt like it. Yeah, because you're a grown man. Yeah, but then I started watching on time, trying to be prompt. Yeah. And I'm like, what the hell's up with all this?

Yeah, man. What's up with that? Man, you're right. Shout out to the hurricane, but yeah, man.

So, anyway, so we come back from you know a 6-7 commercial run that Netflix has. The 6-7 by the way, shout out to Carmelo Hayes, right? Yeah, we haven't talked about this. If you haven't seen it, check out our Instagram page because I know I posted it there in our stories for November. But at one point, Carmelo's got, I want to say, kit from.

pretty deadly. And he's got him in the corner on the turnbuckle, giving the punch count. One, two, three, four. Five. He gets to five and he stops.

He looks at the crowd and goes, Is the crowd still counting? Six, seven. And it took like a split second, and everybody popped and it kept going on. And I wrote on Twitter: for as stupid as this six, seven thing is, right? It's dumb.

It doesn't mean anything. But one thing I like about it, it just kind of brings everyone together. We're so divided amongst everything now. It's just something that, like, it's stupid fun. It's like have fun with it, right?

You know, when we went to Indianapolis for WrestlePalooza, we said this on a previous episode, but we went into the back and there were like the 100 John Cena kids all dressed in yellow. And as they're leaving, because I think they pre-taped something, they're walking past us and they're all just going 6-7, 6-7. And you and I started. And then they saw us doing it and they got so happy. They all start high-fiving us.

And you and I are just sitting there going 6-7, 6-7.

So I was going to say, sometimes it takes something.

So simple. To take somebody over. Yeah. Like everyone's sitting here about Carmelo Hayes wondering, why hasn't he gotten to where everybody feels he should be? Why isn't he elevated?

You know, it seems like he's doing all the work. Seems like. people are behind him. Truly, it takes something that small. To maybe propel you, right?

So I would suggest he keeps doing this. I heard that there was someone, I want to say maybe. Monsoor from uh XF Well man, I forget. I read somewhere, I don't want to say who it was, it'd be wrong, but somebody said someone else did it about two weeks ago on AEW. But the thing is, I didn't see video of that.

Right. Like the first video I saw in all this time was Carmelo Hayes doing.

So I would say find a way to work that in, incorporate it, because that could be just that little thing that it takes to put them over the top. Yeah, I mean, how many times have we seen somebody get a viral moment on main event? Rarely ever. Exactly. He's on main event, and he did that.

And that's going all over the internet. And what we've learned in this new day and age. When they see you can bring in them numbers, It can propel you, man.

So if that's what it takes. If if kids can turn on uh WWE 2K and when they play as Carmelo, he can hit that or they can make their creative player do that in the middle of the uh uh in the corners. Come on, man. That sales.

Something so simple and so little. I do want to say. Young OG. NXT they had when they had their their jerseys NXT versus TNA. His jersey was number 6'7.

I mean, he's a young dude, of course.

So, back in the day, being from Pittsburgh, I'm a Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Big tuna. Big tuna. I need to chill out, bro. Altoona, Pennsylvania.

You know what it is. Listen, bro. You see, I got this stick, right? Oh! Yeah, I used to.

I had a custom-made Pittsburgh Penguins jersey back in the day.

Now, at that point, Mary Lemieux wore 66. Yamur Yager were 68. Can you guess what number I made my jersey back in 1998?

So, somewhere out, but it got stolen when me and Kutcher lived together. Let me tell you this story: me and me and Ach and Kutcher are some, you know, we were roommates, and this is in the early 2000s from 01 to like 05. And we had a house party one day, and somebody somehow got in my bedroom and stole. I had a Peter Nedved Penns jersey, which was 93, and I had a Jefferson one, and somebody stole my jerseys. I had a yellow Yankee starter jersey.

Yeah, so somebody out there ganked me, man.

Son of a bitch. But you know what? I hope your life is well, and I hope you're doing okay, even though you stole what was mine. But yeah, so let me tell you something. Whoever you are.

You sick freak. I hope all the bad things in life are happening to you and no one else. You only. How dare you rob from the big tuna? Hashtag big tuna.

We're going to cut that out anyway.

So, Javon's in the ring. He's standing. We know he's wrestling. Ganta. The ringhander rogue.

Ganta. Except. Oh no, he's not using that. He's using the old one, Symphony Number Nine. I can't even say it.

Via Legro. Hey. No, don't No, no, no, no, no. And it took people a second to go wait. Wait a sec.

I was like, I was like, I literally had to return the. I was like, wait, is he using it? And I don't know. That just makes him even more intimidating as he comes down the ring. Down the ramp, and there was no ramp to the ring, and his robe just.

Looking like he's ready to chop meat because that's what he does. Chop meat. And speaking of culture, you wanna know something funny? And this is how I think you and I have done a great job here on No Contest with bringing people back into wrestling who may have, you know, stopped watching.

So much, and you gotta understand Ashton. This is very unlike him, but he randomly sends me a text. And would you appreciate this? Sends me a text on uh Sunday. At nine in the morning.

Right? This is football. This is our thing. He goes. The thing I like about Gunther is...

That it's so underplayed and simple. Yeah, no effort to be cool, just violent power. And I was like, oh crap, like out of nowhere, you just on a Sunday morning, you're thinking about Gunther. And I was like, exactly. I'm like, his intentions are simple.

The mat is sacred. He's the ring Hennero. And if you don't respect it, he's going to beat your ass until you do. And if you do respect it, he's still going to beat your ass. Yeah, because you're in the ring.

Chop, punch, kick. Choke. And he was like, I like the simplicity. And that's what he brings to the table. No mus, no fuss.

He is the general, and you're going to respect this ring. You're going to respect him. And Don't you ever question his pimping. Right. But man, he and Javon put on a pretty nice show and shout out to young OG, man.

I was scared because I was like, I know they're not feeding my boy. I know they're not feeding my boy to Gunther. Um You know, I haven't seen Gutherna in quite some time, and this is how I I I see you going against my boy, the second Genesis himself. Yeah, the young OG. Yeah, young OG, bro.

But he he handled his business, he did his thing, and um I I believe he's That dude Has in store for him. Not only did he do that, but NXT and he's going to be doing AAA. He's got a week ahead of him.

So shout out to the young OG. Stay healthy, man. Yeah, but he he Got that limber 21-year-old. And he went out there and he hung in there with a bad, bad, bad man and Gunther. And, you know, and I put on Twitter, like, his stock just continued to rise every week.

Juvon just keeps doing more and more. He's a star in the making.

So shout out to him. Because while he also, while he is athletic and like jump out the gym and the high-flying stuff. He's big. Like, Javon is still tall and like formidable. Like, them shoulders is real.

So, he's going to put on some weight. Yeah, yeah. You know what I mean? But, yeah, man, shout out to Javon and Gunther moves on. Ah, DSW, birthplace of the humble brag.

We talked about Becky losing and everything, but. I think what's that my point At the beginning of that, was the setup that it looks like, or you would imagine she's going to be the fifth person on the hill team, especially if AJ is going to accept the offer to join the woman's face team.

So you're probably looking at Oscar Kyrie. Lash, Nia, and Becky. And that's a dirty squad, right? The fact that they got Lash and Nia is such a like. Dog, that them together is not fair, let alone with weapons in a case.

Right. And then you see, you know, Lash is just using that forearm better than anyone since probably Tito St. Tina. Back in the day, she's just mashing people. And then you see how just.

Physically dominant looks. She's bigger, stronger than everyone else. And will laugh in your face the whole time. Right. And so her and I together, oh man, like good luck.

And with that being said, Shoutout to Trick Williams. I see you, brother. Who, if I could quote Trick Willie, when we talked about him and you asked about last, he was like, Yeah, I moved in. And then I didn't leave. It's like, okay.

I'm gonna just leave my toothbrush here if that's cool.

So shout out to Trick. But yeah, man.

So that's it. Looks like the women's war game teams are pretty much solidified. The men's teams are solidified. We got Dom taking on. John Cena for the Intercontinental Championship.

Do you. How do you see that playing out? Do you think Dom is going to regain the title? Because at first I thought he might. But for Cena's last match, I kinda think something else is going to happen.

But who do you.

Well, you know, as you give your answer, I'm going to pull up. Who is left in this tournament, by the way? I think. I think with the the situation that's different from Boston Cause remember Dom was kinda ambushed. Bye.

Paul, Triple H Levesque. And John seen him because he was mouthing off.

Well, look, he went down to the ring. He had to go to the bottom. Yeah, he was mouthing off. And so, you know, they kind of sprung it on them. Hey.

You got a match, and it's right now, and it's for the title. In this situation, His rules. His house There might be a couple of Americanos around that ring. Oh, baby.

So I do see, because we were talking about how. You're not really ready for Dom to give up that intercontinental title. And also, John, you're living in a No moment. We need that. We're leaving it a month, bro.

But somebody on one of our YouTube videos said my take aged like milk when I said about two weeks ago, I said, Don should be the IC champion forever. I went to see him for 10 years and then he lost the next week.

So that was my bad. My last three no contests have been just spat in the face. And it is ridiculous. But we're going to get to Mike Santana in just a second. Yeah.

So look, what we have left in this last Time is Now tournament, you know, we'll just review this real quick. We have Rusev, he defeated. Uh Damien Priest. Congratulations on your new child, by the way. Mm.

Oh, Rusev, that's right. Yeah, yeah, he just had a baby. No, no, no, no. Yes, congratulations. CJ Perry, they are having a baby, they announced.

So, yes, congratulations, guys. That's amazing. Rusev was a guy we got to chop it up with a little bit when we were in Anaheim. Lana was sitting there looking very pretty, and I was too intimidated to speak. I ain't going to lie to you about that.

Plus, I just met Asuka, so my heart was already still palpitating a little bit. I couldn't handle anything else. Do you want to tell the people what I told Rusev? What did you tell Rusev? Go Lakers.

Oh, that's right. And then Rusev and I hugged because I'm a Clippers fan, and we kind of, you know, we dismissed Oshea and we talked them up. But Seamus defeated Shinsuke Nakamura. You know, anytime Nakamura loses, it upsets me. Yeah, but now I'm talking to AJ Styles.

You're like, Shinsuke just is probably over. He killed me. You get a chance. If you have, make sure you go back and watch our interview last week with the phenomenal AJ Styles. And I'm going to call it.

Another audible here. It's crazy. the way that AJ Styles doesn't realize that he's AJ Styles. But that's what you want. But then it's also like, no, dog, you AJ Styles.

Like this man is saying to us, well, yeah, I'm going to be able to, you know, quietly go away and no one's going to care. And I admonished AJ Styles. I said, yo, don't you ever on no ESPNCW, no contest wrestling, ever make it seem like ain't nobody going to care because you are going to be celebrated, right? And when you leave, it's going to be a dark day in wrestling.

So yeah, but AJ is almost one of those guys who just doesn't really understand how much he means. Or maybe he was just being super humble. I kind of almost hope. That was a case, and not that he really doesn't know where he stands on most wrestling fans' lists. I mean, a lot of the things he said last week where he was like, um.

Yeah. He said, Yeah, you know, I'd already put it in my head that I would never get a WrestleMania moment, and I was okay with that. Bam. Goes to WWE. Yeah, you know, I just.

I'm just so shocked and happy that all those people in France, you know, care about AJ Styles. Like, dog. Come on, you're English. Come on, bro. You don't know.

And that right there. Also makes you a superstar because you're not, you don't have this inflated ideology. Of yourself, and you still go out there and give it everything. And it's because you see it as that's your job. But meanwhile, all of us are just like, Yo, that's AJ Styles, you know.

So, shout out to AJ, man. That's still one of my favorite interviews. Yeah, man, that was really good. Make sure you check it out, like I said. Jey Uso defeats The Miz in the tournament.

LA Knight over Zach Ryder, waiting for that tag team Knight Ryder. Gunther defeated Javon Evans and Solo Sokoa defeated Nick Nemeth.

Now. Coming up on this SmackDown on Friday, we're going to have Bronson Reed take on Carmelo Hayes. Six, seven. Gotta hit that one. Gotta hit it.

And Penta. is going to take on Finn Balor. Right. Finn Baller. And then the quarterfinals will start next Monday, the 24th.

And here's the deal: you know, I think you and I, as well as many people, thought that this was going to be the perfect opportunity to introduce a young upstart, put them in this tournament, give them a chance to get that last John Cena match. And it doesn't appear that that is going to be the case.

So we're looking at some established bets already, which. I still don't know how I feel. I think it's going to come down to who actually wins this. But man, I really thought this, and I go back months saying this on the stand on it. This seems like it would have been the perfect opportunity to bring an NXT guy up, have him win, and then allow him to be the one.

Did we not mention NXT during that promo package? He said there could be some NXT people there. And it just wasn't. I mean, we had a former NXT champion and Dolph Ziggler. Yeah, that's true.

He was in the finals. You had some former NXT standouts. Like, you know, solo and Fin um But Just wasn't in the cards. Just wasn't in the cards for one of these young cats to come up and face John. And I still feel like.

That's probably going to be a mistake in the long run, but. Yeah, we'll see. We'll see. But yeah, so we have the quarterfinals that'll be next Monday and Friday, obviously, the 24th. Mm-hmm.

And then back on uh the twenty eighth. Raw on the 24th, SmackDown on the 28th. And uh The final is going to take place on Raw on December 8th, man. Yeah. And um So because it's obviously not going to be Obafemi.

Yeah. The way I had predicted and it was going to be right. Or trick. Dom was the other guy I said. He's still, like I said, Dom's getting the three out of four match run against Cena, which pretty much has made you a winner.

Anyway. So At first everyone's saying it's Gunther. That was always the thing. I'm just going to say this. My opinion in the day right now.

Jey Uso is going to be the one. Yeah. Yeah. Man, because a lot of people online, you know, when we started our pod, We wonder twin powers. Form together an alliance that would stop all the stupid IWC hate.

And that's the only place where Jey Uso seems to be hated is Online on social media because we've been to many cards together over this past year. Jey Uso gets the biggest pop every single time he comes out.

So I don't know how people can say people are tired or don't like him because. The litmus test is what that live crowd does when you're in the building. And he is beyond loved by the time he comes out.

So I would say the internet is just a lot of noise, a lot of talk trying to tear him down for whatever reason. But for some reason, I feel that it's when it's all said and done. If, especially, if Dom doesn't win this belt in the Continental Championship back. I think it's going to be Jey Uso, man. I think when you have someone that popular, that organically over, you can't dismiss that.

It has been dismissed before, you know, in the terms of Zach Ryder, they didn't capitalize on how over he got. Forget what the IWC says. Listen to the live crowds, man. And everyone in there is on their feet. And I've been watching every week specifically to see if there's if the ain't dying down.

And brother, it ain't dying down. I've only seen one week where they booed him. Oh, wow. But that was during the time where it looked like he was about to turn hill? Yeah, well, like, kind of near the punk, him and punk going for the title around then.

Okay, well, other than that. Other than that. Come on, man. I don't know. I think it's going to come down to those two.

Gunther and Jay, but I feel like That's just my pick. What do I know? We're here. We're just, we're, you know, we're fantasy booking, just like you guys are listening right now. And you're hearing this, and you've already got, you know, your phone up to tell me I'm either full of it or you agree.

But like, you know, who even watches these two? Says the guy in the comments. Yeah, but so let us know in the comments, man, when you see the video, who do you think it should be? And also, also, who would you have liked it to be? That's also what we'd like to know.

Who do you think it's going to be? And who do you wish it could have been? And that's something that we're interested in. Yeah. Yeah man.

But yeah.

Evans Gunther Fantastic work by those two gentlemen. Kudos, if you will. Yeah, brother.

So, you know, that's it. I think we did a good job catching up. I got one more. One more. What you got, G?

I... And Furious. Furious Styles. I am pissed off. I have been bamboozled, led astray, ran amok.

Dod.

So you let me get this Let me get this straight. Yes, sir. The new contest wrestling podcast has the first ever. First ever. Puerto Rican.

TNA. Heavyweight champion. Mike Santana. He gets on here. Gives us one of the most tearjerking episodes ever.

From the heart, we talk about how real of a guy he is. How everyone rides for this dude, how he deserves it. He talks about bringing it back to his neighborhood and how it uplifts people, and it's a great one. You leave wishing you could give the guy a hug. He talks about his dream match scenario.

With A. J. Styles. By the grace of God. And Mickey Mouse.

AJ Styles is on the No Contest Wrestling Podcast the very next week. I plant the seed, the propaganda. Has been planted in the soil. Chip grown three days. In his ear.

Pause. And he listens and he was, he wanted to do it, but could not see an avenue. There's just no way it can happen. And then that Friday. We see Matt Cardona.

Zack Ryder. Come from TNA. To the main roster. It's almost like... A window of opportunity opened up.

And then what happened? They take the belt off Mike Santana. I was stunned. I have never Felt so Just instant Dumbass. Like, I just wasted.

So like it was right like I saw it start to form TJ TJ, I saw it. I saw it start to form. I was like, it can happen now. TNA main roster, it's right in front of me. It was the opposite of Back to the Future, where Marty McFly had that Polaroid.

And as things were going, like, the family started disappearing from the Polaroid, except this was backwards. Stuff started to appear on the Polaroid. It started to like, oh my God, the floodgates he was talking about, they opened it themselves. Like, it's there. Obviously, some conversation.

What do you mean, Mike Loss? Yeah. I saw a comment. On the last week's video, that said, as I'm watching this, I just got the notification that Mike just lost the time. Yeah, we were, I was, I was stunned.

And then I was trying to think of a reason because you and I know that TNA sometimes they film shows ahead. And I said to you and Don Bowie, our producer, I'm like, do you think that Mike already knew he had lost and this match had already happened? But then I realized after I said that to you, there's no way. There's no way people in the crowd would have kept that a secret, right?

So that had to be live. They're not always live. And that really happened. And then, you know, to have the TNA, the NXT guys come and jump him, which caused him to hurt his arm, which caused him to lose. But here's the deal: with all due respect to Lexus King and some of the guys, they weren't even like the big dogs in NXT that came down and interfered, man.

So it's just like, you got to wonder sometimes what's really going on with this, man. But for TNA to take the title off of this man that quick, like. With all due respect to Frank Gazarian, who is an OG, who's done his... Man, he's put in work all over the world. Frankie Gazarian has wrestled every all of your favorites.

He's wrestled over a 20-plus-year career.

So, no disrespect to Frankie, who finally, you know, in any other moment, that would have been such a feel-good moment to see a vet get the belt in that situation. But for some reason, that just didn't sit well with a lot of people. The guy who. Battled addiction talked about a letter his daughter wrote to Santa. Begging Santa to make her father stop, changed his life, came back around.

Okay. Won the title, brought his daughter, bowed to her feet, gave her the belt as a, as a. An apology and a thank you. One of the greatest moments that I can remember, not only in TNA, but just a natural, real-life meeting, wrestling moment. And it's gone before I could get my Seed planted of propaganda to get the dream match during AJ Styles.

Farewell Tour. And like. Everything that needed to happen happened, and then they took the belt off him.

Now, Mike is a good dude. I know I know. It's wrestling, Shay. You're getting worked, but I have the right to say. Andilo, please bleep this out.

This is F it.

Okay. I apologize to the listeners in the car for the beep. I don't know how long you're listening to our show.

Sorry to the mouse. My God. Yeah, man, it was really disappointing, bro, because I had such high hopes. You know, you go, Mike Santana going from, and a lot of people don't know how good, you know. LAX was when he was in there.

A lot of people know how good Santano and Ortiz were, right?

So he goes from being a Just Highly decorated tag team wrestler to now he goes on the singles run and he becomes world champion. That's hard enough to do. You know, but then to have it taken away in the manner that it was as quickly as it was, I don't know, man. I just ain't feeling that at all. I can't front.

The name of the game is to get us to feel you got me to feel. Yeah. TJ, if you would.

Well, even before we got one last thing that we got to talk about. Because we like to talk not just wrestling, all sports. Monday Night Raw, as we know, we just got done finished talking about. But let's talk about a guy that I got to meet when we went to do Fanatics Fest this summer. We're in the little holding area, and there's a guy standing right next to me, and I had to show him love, and that was a guy named Cam Scataboo.

And, you know, I made sure I had Cam on a few of my fantasy football teams, even though he was a Giant. Yeah. You know, of all the teams I dislike, I like the Giants the most out of everybody I don't like, if that makes sense. 100%.

So, you know, I made sure I had Cam on my fantasy teams, at least three of them. And, you know, it was devastating to see him go down because he was so much fun to watch. You know, he was so much fun to follow. You know, he was he was becoming a star. And to see, you know, him dislocate his ankle like that and go out, it just stunk.

But then we got Monday Night Raw. And who's in the front row? But Cam Scatterboo. You know what I'm saying? And then Cam gets up, and Dom and JD and Finn get in Cam's face.

And next thing you know, you got Abdul Carter there, you got Andrew Schultz there, you got a bunch of people. And then, you know, of course, it's going to pop off. Yeah. You know, Finn Balor comes. It was Cam who shoved Dom because Dom got into his face.

Finn Balor came, and if you slow motion it, Finn Balor came over with a forearm and he caught. He caught Cam in the jaw pretty decently. Go back and watch it, as you can see here. And then it was on after that. And then, of course, everybody had a little bit of an issue.

With it going down, we actually talked about it on the main show, on the Rich Eisen show, yesterday and today. Do you know what? Scataboo is done going a raw. Why was he a raw last night? I'm a New York Giants.

I'm saying. It was John Cena's last time at the garden. You can't stop me from going around. I'm saying, Scatterboo, love that you're wearing a Ranger sweater. Love that you're out and about.

Love that you're Cam Scataboo. Love that you're going a raw. But don't participate. Look, man, when you just spectate. When Dirty Dom, who's the future GOAT of professional wrestling, is standing to you, you get out of here.

You got an E. You know what I'm saying? What do you want to do? That's the GOAT breakdown. It's going to be my young giant who literally only know one speed that on occasion can be dangerous to their health.

I'm going to sit them down. Judgment day.

So I'm not discounting what you said. Last year during an Arizona state game, I said to you guys, in five years, Scatterboo is either going to be a special teams nightmare or the intercontinental champion going into WrestleMania. Both things can be true. He's all things. Oh, he's not a special teams nightmare.

He's an offensive nightmare. He's had his raw privileges revoked. No, I'm a New York giant. Respectfully. Respectfully, no, you can't do that.

It's John Cena's last time. He's saying no. He's going to have a folding chair in his hands and like get out of here. He should have had a kendo stock with him if he was smart. He's going to spectate and not participate.

Look, this was John Cena's last time in the garden. You can't stop me from going to that if I'm Cam Scataboo. And so a lot of people were concerned because he does have a bad ankle. He was on a cart. But the thing is.

That ankle was properly You couldn't see it on TV, but you knew they took every precaution to wrap the ankle to make it. It was located, right? Yeah, they made it safe.

So, you know, it wasn't like he was going out there with the ace bandage.

Now he had a boot on. It was, I'm pretty sure all, you know, every. You know, all precautions were taken to make sure that it couldn't really get messed up. And, you know, I'm sure it was something like a dream, man. And I think that, you know, I'm going to tell you this: you should reach out on Twitter because you got to follow him.

We need to have Cam Scatterboo FaceTime. We need to talk to him about some. I'm on it. Here's Cam's tweet. Hey, honestly, if you don't like that, I'm having a good time while dealing with a tough time, then just go ahead and unfollow me and casually move on.

I'm not able to play football and have the fun I've been having my whole life.

So I'm doing these things outside of the box, trying to find stuff to keep me happy. Enjoy the rest of y'all's week. And just don't talk about me if you ain't got nothing nice to say.

Well, Cam, guess what? We got something nice to say, and we are going to talk about you. And I loved it, man. I love seeing him there.

So, yeah, let him be, man. Let him have fun. I get it if you're a Giants fan and you got worried, but I, like I said, I promise you, I'm sure that ankle was wrapped securely and all precautions. It was dislocated, right? There was no torn ligaments or none of that.

I think that I'm not sure of.

Okay. I'm not. Either way, I'm sure he had a tank on that foot. Yeah. And it's not, you know, this isn't necessarily your.

Your cast from Tarzan Medical Center. All right. This dude is in New York and is a giant and like. Part of the NFL. I'm sure he has some sort of technology on that foot that we're not even aware of.

He could jump down the stairs and he wouldn't walk. I probably wouldn't recommend that. No, you don't recommend it, but he could. Maybe. I could drive with my knees.

That doesn't mean it's a good idea. No disrespect to the Tarzan Medical Center. I don't think they got what the New York Giants got for Cam Scottamoo.

Okay, and as I'm recalling now, it was a broken right fibula. Oh, no, you can't be doing that. Sit your ass down. Sit your black ass down, Cam. I forgot about the broken fibula.

But you know what, man? He's young. He's what, 22? He's a push. He was wearing the boot, like I said, so I knew that that thing would be protected as much as it possibly could.

Yeah, it was a push. It's fine. Yeah, it's fine. It's over. I think the worst thing that happened to him was the Finn hitting him with the forearm probably was worse than anything that happened with his ankle.

But yeah, shout out to Cam Scatterboo. We'd love to have you here on the No Contest Wrestling Podcast. We got to make that happen. Everybody, calm down. It's over.

It happened already. He's fine. And by the way, if you don't like the fact that Cam Scatterboo If you're mad, tell them what they can do. I got two words for it. No.

Isn't there somewhere you tell them they could put that? Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. What? What? In a hefty.

Oh, oh, oh. You can either get mad. Get glad. Get heavyweight trash bags. Nobody cares, Don.

It's over. Like, it's over. You're complaining about the band-aid is ripped off. It's over. What are you crying about?

Now, if he told y'all that that's what he was going to do and y'all said no, and he did it anyway, that's a whole different story. Yeah. But you saw it. He's fine. He pushed somebody.

It's over. Now He's about to hit all these streamers and all these stuff like that. While you're on that little run, come down to the No Contest Wrestling Podcast. We just talk wrestling and how, if I still had you on my fantasy team, I could book the championship. By the way, if he hadn't got hurt and I had him, I'd be seven and To right now, I think.

But yeah, nobody cares. It's fantasy football. Yeah, I mean, I care. I'm in a 16-man league.

So, like, there's like slim pickings.

So, once you get in the draft, you really like hold on to it. And I got him real late. And it was glorious having Cam on. Oh, it was so nice. But, you know, shout out to Tracy Jr.

or whatever the other guys are. I am Tracy. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Shout out to you, Cam, man. Keep healing, get better.

My football team, because I got Jackson from uh. Seahawks, and I got Saquon, and then I got Junior is Shaquan Jackson Jr. All right, there you go. Our basketball team is the jumping Jehosophats. Jump this guy.
