This is the Truth Network.
In this podcast, you can expect to laugh and smile with godly men who want nothing more than to honor and glorify God. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the Joyride. Hey, joy riders and fellow time travelers. This week, we are hopping into the Truth Network time machine and taking a trip down to the corner of memory lane and way back then Avenue, because this week's clip is all the way back from 2017. And without further ado, to the time machine. Okay, let's just turn it on.
It's an older time machine, so it takes a while for it to get started. Almost ready though. Any second now. And away we go. We're on a really exciting adventure. We've been for a while on these pillars of the masculine journey, and we've been to love, we've been to joy talking about that if you had one part of your pillar that wasn't happening, you're kind of leaning. We've got a whole pillar series going on. That's right. And we've done, what are some of the other pillars we've done there, Jim?
You named all the ones I remember. So today, I'm sure that in current culture, everybody realizes one of the pillars of the masculine journey is a cell phone, right? That's right. That's a Bible. Okay. It has everything.
I was not telling the truth there. Actually, today, our pillar is one that a lot of guys struggle with. I certainly had no clue what it was 15 years ago or how it would have fit into Christianity, but the pillar today is what, Dennis? Community. Community. Right, which we know is the masculine journey, guys, is our band of brothers. But biblically speaking, community is, right, the body of belief, the body of Christ. Which is not a building. It is the community.
Right. And one of the great lies that Satan would like to thrust, especially on guys, is, you know, I don't need anybody. And so, you know, we kind of go back to a particular movie scene that a lot of us can relate to, right, Jim? When they said we were going to start with a jerk, I said, I've never started this show before. We could put all our names by that one. So from the guys on Masculine Journey, I'm Keith, and we'll see you down the road.
