This is the Truth Network. Truth Network programming like The Masculine Journey and Masculine Journey After Hours. In this podcast, you can expect to laugh and smile with godly men who want nothing more than to honor and glorify God. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the joyride. Hey, joyriders. So this week, the guys are talking about, hey, I got an idea.

Andy, my friend, chat us up about this week's topic. It's about quotes from movies that make an impact or sustains us. These movies that really affect how we think about God ourselves, they're not just a quote in random. They mean something in that movie, in that context, but they really can take on a meaning to our own lives. It says, everybody, think back of the movies that make you come alive, that have the most impact.

What character do you identify with the most? So movies play a big part, as you can tell from the clips that we play on the show and all, that they really play a big part of who we are as a ministry and how they speak to our heart. Now, full disclosure, this topic had me stumped. See, I never considered the connection between me, movies I've seen, and my relationship with God. Yeah, I know, I know.

I'm slacking. But for me, when considering this topic, I look more towards a genre of movies, more so than specific movies. I love comedy, and I love to laugh.

And if I can pull it off, make others laugh as well. And truth be told, while growing up, I oftentimes would take the don't take life so seriously approach to everything. And that was for better or for worse. But over time, I found that there is a time and place for everything. Everyone knows that.

Just ask Kevin Bacon. And Ecclesiastes assures us that there is a time to every purpose under heaven. A time to laugh, and a time to weep. A time to mourn. And there is a time to dance. See, to me, laughter is important. It is vital, and it is a gift from God. That's why I enjoy The Masculine Journey, because you get to hear God's word through truth and laughter. I am blessed to be a part of the show. So that means there are more bad jokes, dad jokes, bad puns, and sorry, Harold, old man jokes on the way. Why you ask?

Well, because... Welcome to Masculine Journey. And if you're watching us live on either Facebook or YouTube, thank you for joining us live. And if you're not, you're missing out. You can join us any Tuesday. We start recording about 710 Eastern Standard Time. And we record for the next hour as we go through both of the shows. And so if you ever... I don't know why you'd want to, but if you want to see what we look like, you may not do it twice. We're losing our face for radio status by doing that. You know that. Well, you're not. So from the guys at Masculine Journey, I'm Keith, and we'll see you down the road. This is the Truth Network.
