It's a Friday and Saturday in Reidsville, which is foreign actually very close to where Jared the pastor there is excited about having us come for this. He's got his men coming from the church and some from the community and so really just looking forward to the blood to have you there. Go to masking can click at the banner at the top. The church's email and register if there's more information on the writings gets more information we can send in a fire.

Just reach out to us at any there are emails Sam masking Annie Jim Jim objectives set up and send it is like the spam folder. Click our spam folders is called Jim anyway tells little about the topic to talk about today all you think about entrenchment like while you get a busy life and you're just fighting that get behind and entrench barricade out of that of that for you behind entrench barricade. It is calm and peaceful. But were talking about dizziness, busyness of life busyness with work with ministry with anything that became a becomes a burden the kinds a chore become something that hinders you from being with God, with your family with other loved ones, friends, brothers, sisters, whatever happens to be that this kinda keeps you from being really really want to be if it's not good for your heart that busyness just might not be where you're supposed to be so good and set up then the clip then because were right, what my thought was like okay will forward word we have some busyness is to me back to an old clip that I had had before which is family vacation. You've got a family where a father who really wants to have his family enjoy this vacation and do all these things together he's got something in his mind that is quite different than what everybody else has plan. There's, like, okay will look going to go along and you hear the planning of it in the beginning of his clip and then there's the pause into next thing you know everybody's fat updates want to go back home and everybody's mad at each other and that's when it's up happening when you try to cram too much busyness in the sentence must be peaceful from the movie vacation with family vacation package as a vacation pensions vacation… Vacation you enjoy this worked out. The whole trip on the computer so we get the maximum amount of fun time while a world without missing any of the good stuff along the way as us, and there is while they were analysis take a look at the day, one showing one. Okay now there's a family dragster as we leave Chicago.

Please do not rescue mine and find out what deciding on your computer. Please rest you that's just great. All right, that's enough okay thank you no longer a vacation you can have fun.

Don't touch the Oscar for editing use for that movie has to be severely edited is for after his lot editing it. So let's everybody raise their hands if they've ever been there when they've had that fight that argument during the live vacation. All I'm going home. I'm done with this I'm tired I'm Amada here yelled everybody's had those moments and just trying to cram so much and sometimes argued sometimes you just as moments were you just there's a family member you're just not being kind to their heart is they want to do something years, leaving about and they just yell end up getting the short end of the stick in the name everything they want to do and then all of a sudden that leads to something else and in their one brothers picking on the other brothers and sister and then mom and dad are next thing you know John into it because the kids go parents come along for the ride.

If we could just figure out ways to work just go back to have a nice relaxing vacations. Everybody still does everybody talk to her, cramming so much into their days off. They come back more tired than they left and it's even harder to come back to work and do things when you're even worse off than when you left 100 series on when Calvin was starting to lift the restrictions warning about a lot of overseeing and in that's pretty common in people not been able to take vacations or haven't felt like they could have been able to go to concerts and in aphis 500 had 325,000 people there for the first time in the last three years absence covered began and it was things are coming somewhat back to normal and people are just hungry and they're overdoing their outreaching but even before that they did a series while the heart is a series called the spirit of the age.

It's a really good audible download that you can listen to from a might encourage you to go do that you can become a tribe member for freeing the listening any of the resources that's a good one, and it really touches on this topic in a lot of ways we haven't today and were touching on things they didn't touch on and better be good to go listener that if you have an opportunity Jim at your clip now and wow last week we had well… You get to go first tonight because I have the funny but all of our letters show clips are funny. I tried hard to find something serious. I worked at it for probably two hours which for me is a lot that the I went to my favorite movie because I knew there was a little something there were starting out with the Wesley, our hero in Princess bride has been captured by the evil Count Rubin, who is being invited to come watching tortured to death, which is ultimately what happens and this is the clear that the clip starts with that and then tagged on the end the actual his friends taking Wesley to get reborn in a matter of speaking that it's basically you got good guys and by bad guys, both having problems with time management states got his strength back. I'm starting him on the machine tonight.

You know how much I love watching look, but I got my country 500 that investment plan my waiting to arrange my wife to mother and gilded frame for it.

I'm swamped. Get some rest. You have got to have got anything we need. America is very important.

Look, I'm retired.

Besides, what would you want someone thinking stinking son.

Five. I might kill whoever you want to make the miracle is already dead is a data look for intimate icing voice the rush me sunny Miss America mailing address miracles.

That's the when I looked at this topic got to thinking more more about it and said, well everybody, whether there in the kingdom of God or not, has the same problem with busyness and the this was a lighthearted approach that but it occurred to me that two of the godliness man I know are very active alongside busy because busyness implies you're not really accomplishing anything that they have amazing energy for doing things and following God and I know that. Also that have amazing energy in pursuing the lust of the flesh things under the sun, and so it's really for many more a matter of I have in my life.

I go from being excessively busy to quitting everything in and not doing a lot for a while have been through that site: recently I was well I was released from a job. I was getting paid for and I said well at least now retired in I can quit scrambling and I've been scrambling more after that in doing what I was doing before the doubts for free and it's far more rewarding and actually busy or at least for the time being that it was before and it's much more meaningful.

I think our real goal is to find the sweet spot with God where we are doing what he's saying there were we don't want to be busy. That's not the big deal let's we want to be where he's got us whether it's a peaceful time are extremely busy time. Active active consent to use your words so why is busyness bad. I will absent of God.

Why is busyness bad because enemy knows that eventually you're going to wear down and when you wear down your choices are very good.

Most the time you what's the old adage – remember that when people struggle. It's a old art of think of it minute.

But it's it's when they're hungry and tired as he said that the microphone hungry, angry, lonely and tired out.

I settled is because of this whole threat, hungry, angry, lonely and tired and so doesn't busyness produce most of those in one way or another, and so then we knows we can get you those places we are hungry, angry, lonely, tired to fall really easy and when you fall takes her family. A lot of times it takes your friends. It takes other people that that's pressure, but there's more writing on it than just you and so some of this busyness, and you may not feel he may not feel the effects but know that it's coming then he's done this for generations, and he knows how to do it well and he'll will mask any can be busy with good things.

It's not like you're out your gambling or whatever right, and I'm not saying that it's you may be here in five different ministries and you really should only be in three is that's what God knows your margin for and it's hard to say but it's one of those things we look to God for God is this really where I need to be where I need to be here. It's amazing you talk about that comes up spiritual health and physical health because you get run down your physical health goes for me. I'm usually pretty healthy but when I lose sleep. Next thing you know that's right and more susceptible to catching something getting something or just getting run down a little bit but when you're physically healthier working out your your active it you know you're much more likely to stay healthy and the same thing spiritually. It is, is the quality of that time and how you spend it, not just necessarily what it is because like you said it, you dedicate yourself something you think. While this is really something that's important.

And next thing you know it's more important to God, put it ahead of them and it's taken the wrong position. It's like no you need to go to P2 and set up you want exactly what you are talking a little bit between the shows and scripturally is ringing scripturally were in. It addresses busyness so Pastor that a sermon this weekend and still not as Lotta scripture. The Bible say one thing talk about priorities just trying to make the point of these are really things that you should look at one of the Scriptures was from Luke 10 Luke 1042 where Martha's trying to get everything ready and it's a good thing. She tried to prepare for about it talks about being good and hospitable, but then Jesus got no calls or elements as marriage chart chosen the better thing the better part and she was sitting at his feet, worshiping, and I think that's where another is that balance the mean.

The hospitable stuff had to be done in preparation for him coming, but there's a time where I think were too busy serving the Lord to the second know the Lord and to the really to follow him. I truly believe the more that we get closer to the movement. We realize that were in a partnership and that anything that we go after trying to be do something good on our own its wearer and leaving him out.

What were really getting things out of balance is Lord talk about your just MDB doing all the right things but he's not in it.

You know there's no purpose in the other thing I would bring out about that scripture that that's beautiful and it's also in the song of Solomon because what she says it's not. This is what is there is not.

It's actually fun Solomon and she says my mother's sons were angry with me and made me keeper of the vineyards will see that's what Martha is not only taking her busyness to the next level.

She's trying to pull the person that's getting it right there back into her deal, and so sought so often, you may be attempting to get in your own vineyard and sit at Jesus's feet, but you got a whole bunch of other sisters that are going to get angry with you because you're just not producing you're sitting on the bench you need to get my game. I can hear all the speeches right and and you've heard him and and now it's so it's a real opportunity. Sometimes if you've managed somehow or another to get in your vineyard to then realize that while some really good intentioned sisters are going to be really angry at you. In order to get that get you to work in heaven.

Mr. hats off to my wife. She went through that very thing goes. She we went to the purpose driven life and in a lot of different ways.

She found that she was supposed to be a schoolteacher so she followed that call of God, and she had lots of her sisters will yeah but what are you doing for God. You need to be teaching a Bible study you be doing the stuff and it really disenfranchised her but she stayed the course and now she's been teaching for quite some time and I think with get stuck in the should do this we we ought to do this, you know, this would be the right thing to do doesn't make anything unless God says yes this is where you need to go and is what those are things that tend to burn us out. It's not the things we tend to be passionate on the things we take on.

In addition to that, and then that kinda wanes into your passionate wings and your family all those kinds of things that I kinda feeds into into and routes from and were really good at the logs and the specs I ask is like a look at Jimbo air mayonnaise that is a bagel, probably I see all his problems to them what to do all day long that I could look in the mirror like I'm lost and what to do. I'm messing up a bit better than others. I appreciate that his is very unique, that hard tonight him justifying a rationalization yeah weird rationalizing your justification city of the clip yet you test so we go. I like making you wait so this is for. This is from the movie the great outdoors while back. John Candy is the character Chad in here and he's with Rome and the deck. Dan Aykroyd character, but basically Chad is wanting to get out in the great outdoors and get some relief and from the busyness of life and sees the value in that will Romans come along, get a loan from some investments but he's kind of co-op the trip for his own purposes and having to talk about the you know what they see in the value of where they're at. Great memories of his voice. The same memories, look around you seeks this is this is this beautiful country. Here, take a good look what I see when I look at their if you want to know. Curious, I see the underdeveloped resources of northern Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan see a syndicated development consortium exploiting overall dollars in forest products capability and strategic metals and their mining operations in Greenbelt between the condos and the like a waste management facility focusing on the newest rage and toxic waste medical refuse manages body parts IV tubing glassware and trail syringes. Fluid blood flow rate radioactive waste Allstate to contain sunken in the lake and sealed for centuries now I ask you, what do you see I just see the trees for that.

All I got a fight with the simplicity of life in the in the value of what it does to my heart to defeat her reason for creation. If other guy. He's got a whole list of busyness of what he wants to do to be more efficient work be more industrialized to see a way of making profit and unites just the kind of just see the you have the disk. The differences of their view of juxtaposition. Thank you, Jim running the atheist topic okay go with Rod because the whales go to guy get some stuff I really like that clip a lot because I the viewpoint right what you viewpoint you get back to Robbie's with the model T creativity and like I see them both the creativity of wow is just beautiful.

Just enjoy it a lot. It and then the other side of this is what all we can do to make make something else out of what it is.

It's just that in a week we we have to really watch ourselves is that we don't want to become a wasteland of just do it because you can. It's like what what we called into what will make them better who we make them better. Is it me as somebody else it's it's about going in the right direction versus going in the wrong direction and you're going towards guide you in it with God yeah that's that's a good thing.

But if you're going to take off down the road empathic site. Melissa's mind this is what ideas I own this. I'm gonna make it succeed or fail.

Then you need to reassess and take a step back and go okay. Do you and do that honest assessment of your life.

Where do I have those places will have them just a matter of right taking over of choking everything out or they just along with some other things to may not grow as much signaling and you can be busy inside of the passion God gave you we can try to outrun God instead of waiting on him to lead and guide. And that's what happens with a lot of ministries is God gives them the IDA plants a seed in their heart, and then they forget who gives a sign in the water and fertilizer to write and try to do it all in their own and ends at this date, they can't can't sustain now held apart from me you can do what no add in now that's it keeps going there in the vine and the branches and the idea is so spectacular when you're doing it with him right and and and what an adventure. Whether it's making a sanitation dump under like if you were doing that with God. I'm sure it would be absolutely and and you'd be reaching people and doing all those kind of things that it it it really is a challenge and actually announced as we were doing the study that were gonna be doing through the wild at heart book, not just monster band of Brothers the question was what Hill would you really like to you know to battle in what place would you what Hill would you like to take that the biggest hill of my life has always been like can I get to that place of constant prayer with God when I'm never hanging up. Can I get to that place where I really am abiding all the time what Hill would that be because to me if this some mom Hill were fighting for her.

If I am in again. I you know I just keep praying God will show me the way to do that, but that's a heck of a hill just to get to that place you're talking about is to abide yeah it's it it's amazing all these little stories not little stories all the stories in the Bible that we consider to be little how huge they really are. When you start to put them in perspective.

I wouldn't even have to stop because as well. Okay.

I don't know now that the music playing.

I want to get back but we got a minute seeking going well.

I don't know I just did got a trip coming up really plan out to the nth degree. What I used to get me in trouble but a lot of it. I believe God is leading me into accomplish a lot see a lot of family have a lot of hobbies limb holding onto it loosely though. When leaving some flexibility for God, but you know I have sense as you walk in this longer when you're overdoing it when you're doing the right amount and then staying connected to him. I think you get some discretion. What you know where to go for your walk with God and you have a great time. The masking registered. This is the Truth Network
