When starting a ministry, the value of bringing in a wise older mentor was discovered, leading to the involvement of Vinny, an 80-year-old man who has since become a valuable asset. This led to a series of humorous and thought-provoking moments, including the first meeting between Vinny and one of the hosts, Keith. The experience has been a wild ride, filled with laughter and spiritual growth.

This is the Truth Network. In this podcast, you will hear funny stories, exchanges, and thought-provoking moments that will amuse you, make you smile, and draw you closer to Jesus Christ in your journey of life. Robby was talking about how beneficial it was to have Vinny involved with the boot camp, and Sam brought up the first time he and Vinny met. You know, when we began this ministry, you know, we began to see the value of bringing a sage in, somebody that was older that could relate to younger men that would be coming in, you know, the boot camps and that kind of thing. And, you know, wow, where could you go and get wisdom from an 80-year-old man and that kind of thing. And, you know, that brought Vinny to the party, and it's been quite a ride.
It has. I still remember the first thing I said to Vinny. We were at a boot camp and I met him for the first time. And between sessions, I went outside and sat down. He had his Giants hat on, and I asked him if he got that free with a fill-up on his gas. So from the guys at Masculine Journey, I'm Keith, and we'll see you down the road. This is the Truth Network.
