During an episode of Masculine Journey that was centered around how God would disrupt our agenda, Robby spoke about his wife, himself, and hearing from God. There's an agreement that you can make that I don't hear from God. And my wife had often said, well, that's just not fair. I was a Christian before you were. You hear from God, and I don't.

It's just not fair. And I was like, Tammy, you hear from God. You haven't acknowledged that you actually do. And so one day, she was telling me the story about how we ended up in special needs ministry. And she says, well, you know the reason why I'm in special needs ministry is because God told me that would be my ministry. And it was like, so how is it you don't hear from God? Oh, I did. I did. I know that.

That was just. And so when she realized that she had, I thought, wow, I bet everybody's like this, Sam, where they've heard from God. They're just not seeing what it is that they've heard. And I think often they've heard that you don't hear from God, right? But that's not what the Scripture says. In all the stories of the Old Testament, I don't think God sent, you know, a stenographer out there and said, hey, you know, this is what God said. And if he did, he had to tell him. You know, and God spoke to somebody, right? He spoke to Abraham, to David, to everybody, right? And his husband too, Paul, Peter, Mary, you know, it was like, and they turn into a great rock group.
