Now, as everyone is, I'm sure, aware of, when someone becomes a born-again Christian, aka a believer in Christ, their days of having problems and troubles are over. I mean, this is common knowledge, right? Yeah, and if you believe that, I got some swampland I want to sell you. In the book of John 15, starting at verse 18, it says this: If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own.
But because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this, the world hates you.
So, yep, we are gonna have problems, and struggles, and burdens. And if any of you are like me, you can be hard-headed sometimes. We want to take on and carry those problems and burdens on our own shoulders. Junior, give me your other hand. I can get it.
I can almost reach it, Dad. Indiana. Indiana. Let it go, man. We just need to Let it come and do what Jesus said, which is to take his yoke, for it is easy, and his burden is light.
I promise that was only 30 seconds. And actually, that's all the lyrics in that chorus. And it's about four minutes, if I remember correctly. You got it all in 30 seconds.
Well, what's it saying in there? Because it is hard to pick it up with all the different voices. It is. It's exactly what we Put it up front, his yoke is easy, his burden is light. Actually, burden, but.
burden is our more modern English word for that.

Okay, for those that like King Jimmy, this one's for you, and it really was from that time, but uh. The story, if you've never heard it, of Al Handel. Wrote the Messiah in just a ridiculous amount of time, little time. with no errors. It's a God thing and uh If you've never heard it.
It's three hours worth spending. But as I point out, anything I remember in Scripture is pretty much something I've sung, and that one. it hits home in a way that, uh I love Not my favorite chorus to sing. That one's tough. But they I don't disagree.
No, they just reminds me of Carol the Bells or whatever that song is, where they just keep, I mean, I like it at Christmas. Jim, I'm glad you like it. The wonderful thing about the Messiah is you can enjoy it at Christmas and Easter. I do enjoy the Messiah in between. Most people would recognize it, you know, in the hallelujah chorus, right?
Yeah. You know, born unto us, a child is born. You know, other lyrics other than his yoke is the line. I'm okay. We just, I appreciate people love that.
But uh but uh that uh I was really Carolyn was also surprised that you would consider doing something that old. No, I mean, it was your show, so I figured it was your bump. I just. I was like, I'm just grabbing 30 seconds and getting out of here.
