Into our third and final hour, program is always brought to you by FanDuel.

Want to remind you of that. All right, so we start the third hour with some breaking news. This is for you. Frisco, hey Frisco fan, you're all uptight and freaking out and getting upset. Don't worry, Frisco fan, you should have known that the Indianapolis Colts fire sale was going to involve you, and it does.

Man, you knew they weren't done. Didn't I mention last hour? T here is a whole list of guys on that fire sale list.

Well, here goes another one. According to the wrap sheet, quote: Trade the Colts are trading three time Pro Bowl defensive tackle DeForest Buckner back to the Niners, the team that made him a twenty sixteen first round draft pick before dealing him to Indianapolis in twenty twenty. Per me and at Adam Schefter, a reunion.

Now Buckner returns to SF, fortifying their defensive line.

So apparently that is going to be in exchange, according to Rapsheet, for a 2027 fourth rounder.

So there goes another one. Man, like Black Tuesday in Indy. Who's next? Who is next? Jonathan Taylor.

What would it take to get JT out of Indy? Man, Carly ain't playing, is she? Got rid of her GM, got rid of a couple of key key guys today, and I'm guessing they're not done yet. All right, so Niner fan, do you feel any better? Niner fan was all up in arms earlier, like we should have got Q, we should have got him, should have came to us.

Well, you get Buckner back. Do you feel better about that? John Lynch was working it. He was not done, and I guarantee Indy's not done with that fire sale. They are not done yet.

So, your Niner fan, your reaction.

So, there's that. Meantime, the World Series continues. The Brewer fans are out. Romy, the beer is flowing. The brats are being crushed, and we will be having fish for the main course later.

How many Rays fans were on their phones in the sixth inning, selling their seats for tonight? I alone know fifteen people who hopped on a plane this morning. It's going to be more embarrassing for them than that first pitch joke last night. More a lifetime of struggle being wiped away tonight. Go Brew Crew, Mike in Southeast Wisco.

That that's amazing. They had, he says, he's telling the truth. Fifteen people that he knows that just got on the phone this morning or got on a plane this morning. Like, let's go, let's go. Let's be there when they clinch.

Let's be there in the event they clinch tomorrow. See, this is what I mean. What's your face? Who is saying, "Hey, hey, Rome"? Let me explain this to you, moron.

Those Northerners already live here, and they're coming out because it's a cold weather town. No, they're not. He just said it. I know fifteen guys who are getting on a plane today, or did already. To be a part of this, of course, we know this.

They've been waiting. Decades they've been waiting. Do we have that video? They're the anti-Nick fans. They they have been waiting, and I know I know Wisconsinites because we have real estate in Wisconsin.

Because Jake Rome went to college in Wisconsin. They're the opposite of crazy, crazy Nick fans. They're like nice Midwesterners that have waited their whole lives. I love the one guy in this video. He's like, it's been 44 years.

That's longer than I've been alive. Different kind of energy, an energy to be sure, but a different kind of energy than Nick fan energy, who waited as long as they did.

So, check this out. I am so jacked right now. Forty-four years. I haven't even been alive that long. Forty-four years to be a part of this group and to be able to to be able to be able to be part of this.

This is incredible. It's just it was so exciting. I couldn't believe how crazy busy it was. Nobody left. We were winning ten to nothing, and we're all still sitting there.

This is insane. This is so insane to win by that big a way. Mind, blowing my mind. I mean, look at the place. Look at how much this means to the city.

It's crazy. She's like, nobody left. Nobody left. We're up ten, nothing. Nobody left.

Of course not. You've waited. You've waited longer than that. Dude's been alive.

Now let's not get into the fact that. No offense, my guy. You look like you've been alive at least ten years longer than you say you haven't been alive. What do we got here? The obligatory rolling out of the barrel.

A reminder: this is a watch party. That's incredible. Look at the stadium. That's a watch party. That's Milwaukee.

It's packed. They packed their own stadium to watch a game on the road. There's probably more fans in that house than there were in the Trop. It's a watch party. Absolutely incredible.

How about them Northerners, moron? That is insane. How about in that game last night? That fifth inning, all of that done with two outs, and it was two outs that may not have happened had they not got that call overturned on that force at second. One of the most incredible innings of baseball I've ever seen in my life.

Snaggers, staged. Check out the mascot. Holding dead still, as if William Tell is aiming a Sig P two twenty, was on the mound as the throw is being served up. Ball whizzes through the mascot's fake hair as he scurries away, hamming it up. Staged.

My suspicion is that both the former MLB pitcher and manager and mascot thought that it would be funny as hell. It is. All right, so is this staged? Oh, he oh because he was trying to buzz the mascot. He was trying to dot the mascot, and then he and Joe Madden were hugging it out like, yeah.

Why would you stage that? Because if you did, it's not funny. It's lame. I'll tell you what was funny. Them losing ten to one in a game they had to win.

That was funny, but that that quote staged first pitch. Let's see it again. Is there anything? Yeah, you're right. The way that mascot dove out of the way like he knew it was coming.

I wonder how many times they rehearsed that. You think they were there five hours early practicing? Oh, you know, maybe. Maybe I'm not even saying no. Maybe it's lame, though.

I don't know what's more lame. It is impossible to believe that you can miss that badly. You know what? Maybe, maybe I think that the stunt is lamer than him missing that badly. Impossible.

You know what, Dan? You may have me on that one. They may actually have staged that, thinking that that was funny, but it wasn't. War, Bob C, and UCLA not realizing they're UCLA, and messing up the last couple of months of this surreal journey. Signed, Dan and Yorbelinda.

This might be a dumber email than Charles B's. Those Brewers fans just live in Tampa. Take, and I don't know, dude. That that actually is one of the better tinfoil. Tinfoil theories.

I mean, how could the guy miss that badly? He couldn't. Maybe they just thought it was funny, but it wasn't funny at all. And anything involving a mascot is never funny. That's my rule of thumb.

Anything involving a mascot, regardless of mascot, is never ever funny. Go ahead, throw your tinfoil out, hat on, and let me know what do you think? Staged, or did he miss that badly? Actually, you know what? Don't I don't care.

Armand Armadillo, what's up, Armand? I was not playing the song. You must be home. Scott Frost is a class act. Happy to see him succeed.

Tough ride in Lincoln. Thanks for the conversation. Wore the jungle caramel, bro. Are you a UCF guy? Is Armon a UCF guy?

That kind of caramel. Yeah, you can see where I might be a little bit conflicted, right? Because BYU, because Scott Frost, because Kalani, because Scott Frost, both huge jungle guys. Huge jungle guys. One eight hundred six three six eight six eight six.

Right, so why don't we talk some NBA right now? You see, Toronto. You thought you got the last laugh, didn't you? But you really should have known better. Because you've been through this with this dude before, you know who always gets the last laugh.

Toronto thought they got over by getting their guy back, while the Clipper franchise burns to the ground. Toronto probably thought that they got over on the entire association when they got Kawhi Leonard back, but. The Raptors should have known. They should know by now. The only person who gets the last laugh when it comes to Kawhi Leonard is Kawhi himself.

Every time. I'll give you this, Toronto. At least you got two games. And man, you'll always have those two games, won't you? Two games.

Two dubs and then, oh oh! Right on cue, Kawhi's knee swells up and he needs to sit out Game Three. Load management by Game Three. Everybody should have known exactly what was coming next. At Shams quote, Toronto's Kawhi Leonard is expected to miss a period of weeks.

Due to swelling in his left knee, sources tell ESPN MRI on Leonard's knee showed no structural damage, but sides will use the shorter term to ramp him back up after the stoppages during the off season.

Well, that didn't take long. I mean, how incredible is this dude? Laughing his ass off already. We didn't even get to November yet. Two games into his brand new two-year, one hundred and fifteen million dollar contract.

I mean, forget best sports grifter ever. Like I said earlier, I think this dude's going to go into the grifter Hall of Fame, right alongside the Naismith Hall of Fame induction. He might even get into the grifter Hall of Fame first, depending on how many more years he can keep getting away with grifting the association. Notice by the way, there's no structural damage, only swelling. But he's still expected to be out a period of weeks, plural.

I mean, don't get it twisted. I'm not making light of an injury here, because there is no injury here. Period. At least that we know of. Just swelling.

Anyway, this is where Raptor fan tries to say it's not that serious. Rome, calm down. He'll be back soon. Hey, Raptor fan, will he? Will he?

Maybe he will, but then again, knowing this guy, maybe he won't. I would not hold my breath if I were you, Raptor fan, especially not after reading his little written statement, which is really weirding me out. Because when the hell has Kawhi ever released a written statement about missing games or load managing or salary cap circumventing or anything he's ever done? A written statement from Kawhi Leonard? It's got to be a troll.

It's got to be fake. It's got to be AI. It's got to be somebody with nothing better to do. Right? It's so bizarre.

It's so bizarre that I still don't believe it's actually him, but apparently it is actually him—he or somebody with access to his social media accounts—because it really did go on X, and it really did go on the Gram today, and it really did say the following quote: "Yeah, it's always frustrating missing time. I came back to compete with this team, and I'm focused on getting back to 100." Toronto, I've appreciated the love since I've been back. Returning soon, Godspeed. Why? That the hell is that?

And who is why? Like, as in why? Why? Who the hell wrote that? Because there's no way that was why.

Quote. Yeah, it's always frustrating missing time. What? What are you talking about? No, it's not.

It's like your favorite thing to do. What do you mean? It's always frustrating. You love it. Yeah, it's always frustrating missing time.

Yeah, it's always so genuine when people start a statement with the word yeah. Yeah, yeah, it sucks. Yeah, I appreciate you all having my back. Those two games that I played, yeah. Especially when they lie their asses off right after the word yeah.

What are you talking about? It's quote always frustrating missing time. How do you even say that? Why, my dude? You are the pioneer.

You are the passionate pioneer in the art of missing time. An entire phrase has been coined in your honor. Load management. Yeah. An entire phrase has been added to our cultural lexicon because of how committed you are to missing time.

But now, all of a sudden, yeah, it's always frustrating. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Since when? What do you mean, always? Since when, dude?

That is some hilarious trolling. That's got to be one of the most disingenuous athlete statements of all time. That's gonna be right up there with Dak Prescott telling us that he doesn't play for money and never cared for it. To be honest with you, I don't play for money. Never have, never cared for it.

To be honest with you, yeah. Dak doesn't play for money, doesn't care for it. To be honest with you, and Kawhi is always frustrated by missing time. Sure, bros. No, check that.

Yeah, bros. Whatever you say. Here is the best news for you, Raptor fan. The current swelling is in Wise. He signed it Y.

Actually. W H I. The current Swai is in Wise's left knee, which is not the knee that has had multiple ACL and meniscus surgeries.

So that that would be his right knee.

So this is a brand new issue, and I'm sure it won't turn out to be very serious, and it probably won't keep Y out longer than we expect, right? Because Y is always so frustrated to miss time. There's no way he would ever let this drag out. Am I right? Why?

Why? Is that not the most predictable thing ever? Two games. He destroys the Clipper franchise. Everyone.

He destroys the Clipper franchise almost single handedly. Gets away with it. Costs him five ones, the owner a year and thirty mil. Gets a slap on the wrist for his involvement. Skips the country, goes running back to Toronto where he's hailed as a hero.

They drop a hundred mil plus on him, and he plays two games. And now is out with swelling. And now is writing statements saying how frustrating it is, and then signs it. Why? Why?

Why? I bet you they already had. I bet they already had that in the folder, just getting ready to send. They probably had a draft of that already before the season started. Why?

Why? Well, what's going on? Like Uncle Dennis is now out of the picture because Powder ran him out of the picture.

Now you've got a new social media guy. Like, why do you even need social media accounts other than to explain that you're hurt again? You're not posting highlights. We know there's not going to be highlights. Yeah, I better get myself a social media person for the X, for the Gram, for TikTok, because inevitably something's going to swell up, something's going to blow up and balloon up, and I'm not going to be able to play.

I need somebody to knock out a note for me on the Notes app and talk about how frustrating it all is. Most predictable thing ever. Why? Why? Why?

Why? Why are you writing statements all of a sudden? Why, bro? You gonna try and ruin two franchises? I don't care how many games you've won back in the day.

Is this your new your new why? Why? Hey, why? Is this your new why to see how many franchises you can take down? Is that your new why?

Why? They said everybody said what's your why? What's your why? Hey, why? What's your why?

I had so much fun wrecking the Clippers. I want to see what it feel like. I mean, you're like a serial franchise wrecker now, bro. It's like you're addicted. Two games.

Yeah. It's always frustrating when I wreck a franchise. No, it's not. No, it's not. You keep getting paid.

You don't be frustrating. Why you send those checks bounced? But they never do. Isn't frustrating? It's probably awesome.

Wait, I don't have to play and I still get paid. This is great. All I have to do is ice up. Love this. Bro, if you're frustrated, how do you think the franchise feels?

They just committed 115 million dollars to you, and you're already out. Two games in, how do you think your last franchise feels? But but you're frustrated. That's rich. Why?

You're frustrated. How do you think? The fans, the teams, the coaches, and your teammates feel, but you're frustrated. Why? Damn, I'm frustrated even hearing that.

But but good thing that you got that up on social. All right, when we come back, yeah. Why? One eight hundred six three six eight six eight six. What's going to happen tonight?

Are the Brewers going to finish this off? Yeah. Yeah, yeah.

All right, so you won the argument last night, and some guy in the comments section said your team's done. You came back with stats, receipts, and a gift.

Game over. Yeah, not so fast, because he searched your username. He found you on social. Then he plugged your real name into a people search site. Up popped your home address, along with your cell number and your wife and kids' names.

You won the argument, but you lost your privacy and your security. You see, those sites that that dude is accessing are data brokers. They package up your life, they sell it to anybody who asks. Incogni. Is here to help you because Incogni plays defense.

It's an online service that sends removal requests on your behalf to over 420 data brokers and people search sites for you. When your info sneaks back on, Incogni goes after it once again. Yeah, true, true, and true. Yes, and yes. Johnny Anderson, thirty-two, eighty-seven. Dear Rome, I always start my sentences with the word "yeah." Signed, Lil Jon. Yeah, yeah.

V in the fee is in. I got past the FBI, but not the MRI. Signed, Conwy Leonard. V. He's not.

He's not Conwy. He's just Y, just like you're like V. He's Y, V Y V Y. Hey V, how about your Vikings? What are they doing?

Got a fire sale going on right now. Seattle got better. Frisco got better. How about your Vikings? V.

Johnny Anderson, thirty two eighty seven. Vikings, Vikings fans. Also in the chat, a commercial. Five years from now will be like if you buy tickets to a Clippers game during Kawhi Leonard's stay with the franchise, you might be eligible for compensation. That's pretty funny.

That's pretty funny. Sheamus, twenty-seven. It's always frustrating missing time. Meet up my boss after calling in sick at NCAA tournament time every year. G.

Gordon, Philly, Jim, while mostly right, and by mostly I mean 100, you and Alvy are treating Kawhi unfairly. Do those two wins not warrant him getting the Top Gun Goose background music treatment for his written statement? I don't know. Can I get that written statement one more time? Do you have that anywhere, Lauren?

U X C R. I have to go back to it. There you go. All right, Alby, stop the music. I'll cue you.

Three, two, one. Alby. Yeah. It's always frustrating missing time. I came back to compete with this team, and I'm focused on getting back to 100.

Toronto, I've appreciated the love since I've been back. For those five minutes, returning no time soon. Godspeed, dude. Godspeed. That that somehow kind of slipped by me the first time I read that.

Godspeed for for knee swelling. Godspeed. God speed. God speed. God speed means we ain't seeing that guy anytime soon.

God speed. Why are you dying, or do you have knee swelling? God speed. Why? Why God speed, bro?

Have you been diagnosed with swelling of your knee or a terminal illness? Godspeed. Why, dude? I gotta know why. Did you sit down and thumb that out yourself?

What a statement! You're right. We we did need the Top Gun goose background music, especially with the way he signed it. Godspeed. What'd it do, baby?

Godspeed. Why? Why should have run to the pier and dropped down and thrown his dog tags into the water? Why, why? Godspeed is great.

I can't believe I overlooked that part of it. Again, Godspeed. Does that sound like he's coming back anytime soon, bro? Are you? Are you?

Do you have knee swelling, or are you dead? Hit me! Is it that? That's the song we should be playing. If you're signing that statement, Godspeed.

We should not be playing Top Gun Goose. We should be playing playing Axel. Time to die. Godspeed. Why?

Old Hoss Radbourne, fifty nine hundred. I understand completely why why begins his statement with yeah. Signed, guy. Not bad, not bad, old hoss. Not bad for an old man, old hoss.

All right, looking for some reaction.

So I've hit you with some NFL. I've hit you with some college ball. I've hit you with some hockey. Patrick in Phoenix is the guy. I've hit you with NHL, college ball, pro ball, World Series, NBA.

Is there anything else I can do for you? Anything else you want to hit? Couple of trades in the NFL. The Indianapolis Colts fire sale has already started. Seattle has capitalized.

Frisco has capitalized. Who else is going to be involved? Seattle. Isaiah Thomas apparently still hates Michael Jordan. I'm looking at something on X.

In the sidebar, Isaiah Thomas ranks LeBron and Kareem as the NBA's top two all time. We know Zeke. We know you hate Mike. We know. All right.

When we come back, there's no way you can convince me he wasn't one last segment. Do what you want with it. TMZ Sports: Lamar Odom becomes the first NBA star to join OnlyFans. "Quote: I've always been an open book. What's that going to look like?

I don't know, Lamar. We've already seen the doc." Lamar Odom becomes the first NBA star to join OnlyFans. Was there not a song? Hey, forgive me, forgive me. There are days when I gotta admit I have like those senior moments.

But I really think we have a song about Lamar, and I think that it was clone generated. Let me think. Let me think. Give me one minute. Wait, wait, wait, wait.

I think it's about. A pipe, and I think somebody's on that pipe. Help me, help me out here. Odom's on the pipe, staying up all night. Odom's on the pipe.

Staying up all night. The first time he smoked it, it almost blew his head off in the big city streets. Beep beep beep beep. The only difference it's in the smokers. He be do that.

Odom's on a pipe. Staying up all night. Odum's on the pipe. That was John in Little Rock. John in Little Rock, I should say.

That was his "Let It Be." I don't like that. Not a very. I wonder if he's going to try to license that to Lamar for his OnlyFans account and try and get a piece. Come see, come smoke Odum's pipe. Odum's on the pipe.

Lamar's like, I I don't do that anymore. But you can, if you follow me on OnlyFans. Come smoke anyway. Anyway, that just in money. It's OnlyFans, all right.

Who knows what happens over there? Lamar Lamar just said it. I'm not saying what you will and won't say. Won't see. All right.

Now, when we come back, one final segment. React to any of this. It is your last chance. You have your phone number. You know where to find me on X.

You know where to find me on email and chat. Chat, you're not having one of your better days. I'm just gonna say it point blank. This is not one of your better days, chat. Generally, you're up in here a little more aggressively.

So, what do you say? Try to steal a segment, chat. Do what you do, and we'll come right back. You're listening to the Jim Rome Show. O'Reilly Auto Parts is a huge part of the program and of this pod.

in the four one four. Where's Robert in Tampa and his report on Game Three? Robert was fired up yesterday. Again, I don't blame the guy at all, and he went about it the right way. At least he showed up.

At least he showed up. At least he was fired up. And it wasn't giving me the old, "Hey man, you know it's kind of tough getting over that bridge." Hey, you know it's kind of hard to get there. You know that commute is kind of annoying. You know all the reasons we've heard why Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay Rays fans don't show up.

Because it's so hard to get there. I really completely believe the Rays can come back. They got the kind of team, and my plan is to call you tomorrow with a recap when Junior Caminero hits a home run to win the game in extra innings. I love you, Jim. I'm out.

Go Rays. Hey, Robert, I love you too, man. But where's the recap? I mean, I know I did a recap in the show open. I did a really long recap in the show open, and a very good recap in the show open.

However, However, I did not yesterday promise a recap. You promised a recap. You said I'm going to the game tonight. I'm paying 500 bucks for the ticket. It's worth it.

I will give you a recap on Game Three tomorrow when we win an extra innings on a Junior Caminero home run. This guy's got a good point, dude. Where are you, Robert? My guy. Where is the recap?

It's not too late. I've got a few moments left on this program. Give me the recap. When Laconic writes, I would have to think a moment about who all Lamar Odom played for during his career. But the second I heard Lamar Odom, I thought Odom's on the pipe, staying up all night.

That's unfortunate. But then again, what do you expect? I mean, even even if that song had never been written, if we were to play word association with Lamar Odom, what would be the first thing you would think of? It's kind of fair, right? And the sad thing is, Lamar.

Lamar was a good dude. Deep down, Lamar still may be a good dude. And what do I base that on? Not that I had a personal relationship with him, although I had spoken to him a couple times. But I knew his teammates liked him a lot.

And you have to understand, Lamar. And I'm not making excuses for Lamar because we all make our choices, and then there are consequences. And he made some really bad choices. Lots and lots and lots of bad choices, but let me say about Lamar. When Lamar was right, when Lamar—and again, you'd have to find that that sweet spot in time when Lamar was right, because it wasn't for the longest time.

But when Lamar was right, he was an unbelievable baller. Lamar could play all five positions. Actually, he could play all five positions. He was an unbelievable baller. For a time, and then got caught up, got caught up in the life, got caught up.

Although he married the cool Kardashian, I would argue, Khloe. And if you watch that doc, you can see how hard she tried to save him. But then he found the pipe, and that's never a good thing. And the next thing you know, clones are writing songs about him being on the pipe.

So again, back to my point. When if we're to play word association, what would you think of Lamar Odom? You know, I think of the Lakers. I think of Rhode Island. Believe it or not, I think of the reality show.

I think of the photo shoots. I think of the pipe. I think about John and Little Rock. I think of a lot of different things. I think of that the night he almost died in that brothel.

In Vegas, there is that. He almost died in a brothel in Vegas, and they show that with great clarity in that doc. Chris Barnhart, that Odoms on the pipes song is iconic. I know that was John John Little Rock's best work. His phone worked properly that day.

That that was like I said. That was John's "Let It Be." That was his best effort ever. Had finished W on chat. Odom's on the pipe was John in Little Rock's Magnus Opus. It's been smokers.

He needs Magnum, but we agree. Odom. It was his Magnus Opus. Chat's the best. You know, bro, you're right.

It was his magnum opus. Rude Dog ZP. Were the Brewers closing it out tonight?

So we don't have to listen to baseball talk anymore until next season. Hey, bro, I got even better news for you. If they close it out tonight, you won't have to listen to baseball talk next season. The good news, bad news. You won't have to listen to baseball talk next season.

That's the actually. That's the good news. The bad news. That's the good news. My bad.

That's the good news. The bad news is you won't get baseball talk. You'll get labor talk. You know what's worse than baseball talk? Labor talk.

Baseball stoppage talk. You think you hate baseball talk? Wait till you hear lockout talk. Wait till you hear CBA talk. Wait till you hear negotiation talk.

Wait till you hear salary cap talk. Wait till you hear ceiling or floor talk. Do you think you hate baseball? Wait till labor negotiation talk takes its place. You'll be begging for baseball.

And finally, Van Gobel, Jim, Crie Leonard would not last two days with the Bad Boy Pistons. Isaiah Thomas would throw him out headfirst. You're not going to play because of swelling. Don't let the door hit you where the Lord split you. What an absolute loser!

Signed Beck. I love it when old man Goble tries to get really filthy with it. Don't let the door hit you where the Lord split you. What an absolute loser signed Beck. Speaking of Beck, whatever happened to Eric in Falls Church?

Eric in Falls Church, right, Albie? He had his own song. That. Never mind Jungle Gloss. That got his own jungle song, "Loser" by Beck.

I don't know what happened to him. Eric in Falls Church. Do a fall, everybody! All right, Eric. Go to the top of your church and fall.

I don't think I've bumped that song in about a decade. I don't think we've heard from Eric in about a decade. My brother, Godspeed. Replace your worn-out wiper blades right now at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Receive two times O Rewards points.
