If you missed it live, don't worry, we say the best parts. This is the Drive Podcast. Here we go. Let's fire it up on a Tuesday. Welcome into the Drive right here on WSJS.
News, talk. And sports for the triad. Got a lot going on today. It is. Draft day.
Let's hear the chimes. Let's hear them one quick time. Let's do that. People are about to be on the clock. Ding ding ding ding ding.
We'll just pretend those were the chimes. Could you imagine if every time a pick was made? We just heard that ding ding ding ding ding like that exactly We'll just cut that and send that up to the. People at the NBA and let them know we got a little some, we got some new branding for them. That's what we got.
But it is draft day. We will get to the mock draft. A little later on in the show. Going to have our own picks one. To 14 when the Charlotte Hornets Come to the podium.
Josh Graham, Westwood One Sports, going to join us in hour number two. to break down a plethora of things. But we gotta start with what happened in Omaha last night. Who boy? That wasn't terrific at all.
Um Carolina, Oklahoma Winner-take-all, game three. And the bottom line is this. Baseball more than any other sport And I'm comfortable saying this because I played it my whole life.
So I have a little bit of expertise in this. When a team catches lightning in a bottle. The way Oklahoma did. You might have what looks feels and smells Like a title team in Carolina? And one thing we say in the baseball world is what wins championships Really good pitching.
That's what wins championships. Deep pitching. And Carolina had that. But again. When a team catches lightning in a bottle the way Oklahoma does, Call it a team of destiny, if you will.
A lot of people said that about the New York Knicks. I guess you could call Oklahoma that, because they... After finishing eleventh in the SEC, Finishing 12 and 14 in conference play, Went on One of the more incredible runs we've seen. For a team that finished 11th in the SEC, which is the best conference in the country in baseball and has been for a long time.
So, Carolina, they started it off with freshman arm Jackson Rose. Had a couple punchouts in the first inning for Carolina. That looked pretty promising, looked good. But then Oklahoma, they struck early. They struck often after that.
offensively. They did that in every game of this series, it felt like. Ultimately, the fourth inning was a bit of a disaster. for Carolina. That's where the damage started to be done.
for the Sooners. And it went from Pitcher to pitcher. Jackson Rose. got knocked off. Then they went to Their guy in the specs that looks like Ralphie from a Christmas story.
It's what he reminds me of. And Walker McDuffie is his actual name, though. He's been their top reliever, main reliever, other than Globber. All year long. And They brought him in in the third inning, it was not the fourth, third.
So. Oklahoma got to Carolina's starter very quickly. And Then in the fourth, that's when things, like I said, unraveled because McDuffie got knocked off. Caden Globber comes in after Pitching terrific in game two. He gets knocked out.
Didn't even make it through the inning. He got shelled. You don't see that very often. The heels were 29-0. On this season when he pitched.
It's 29-1 now because then they brought in another reliever and they ended up leaving the fourth inning trailing 6-1.
Now, That's early enough in a game where you can still climb your way back in. But at that point, when the starter's been knocked out, And your two best relievers have been knocked out. It's like, oh boy. We see how this is going to go, and it ultimately ended up being a final 13-2. Oklahoma winning a national Championship and the bottom line, like I said.
When a team is looking like Oklahoma has looked for the last month. They're hard to stop, even for a Carolina. Even for some of the other top teams in college baseball that were title contenders, doesn't matter. Anybody can beat anybody whenever a team is playing like Oklahoma. has been playing Scott Forbes after the game last night.
Very disappointing, obviously. Here he was. Speaking on the loss. I would just tell them I love them. That's it.
And and I thanked them 'cause they're the ones that brought us here. Coaches, you know, head coaches especially get way too much credit. You know, it's everybody else, the staff, it's the strength coach, it's the assistant coaches, it's the administration, but at the end of the day, I've also You know, I made my last out in the Division III World Series, and I know what that pain feels like. The pain's the pain. And I just wanted them to know how grateful I am for what they've.
Taking us all on. And it's been an amazing ride from being down to Southern Cal to playing to the very last day of the college baseball season. And that's pretty cool. It's tough. Because like he said This team looked like a team that should win the title this year, especially in terms of who made it to Omaha and.
You know, as things progressed, Carolina looked like they were going to be it. This was finally going to be their time after they. Got disappointed. In the finals in 05 and then again in 06. That's the last time they made it to the College World Series final.
And It's just been disappointment after disappointment after disappointment when you look at the fact that they've been there nine times, not the final, Omaha, just in general. Nine times they've been to the College World Series in 20 years, 13 in program history. They've been just begging to bring that first title to Chapel Hill. And they just, and even now, in a year where it seemed like all the cards were stacked in their deck. Still Couldn't quite get over the hump.
And honestly, the way they lost it is what's most shocking to me because I thought. Even if Oklahoma won last night, it was going to be a little more competitive. But 13-2, that. That's getting your doors blown off, is what that is. Having your best pictures knocked off the mound, two of them in the same inning.
It's just not great. But Carolina's not going anywhere. They're not going anywhere. They do have a very young again, Lobers is a freshman.
Some of their best pitchers were freshmen. And Scott Forbes took a very important lesson from This Carolina team, here he was a little bit more after last night. They taught me the importance of what being a team means. Because you do have a lot of new guys. But they kept the team first.
And Because of that. We're sitting here right now. We're just not on the right end of it.
So they're not going away. If Scott, I mean Scott Forbes learning that lesson. About team and about buy-in, which is a dangerous thing when a team does that. That's very that's I mean, it's dangerous when a team does that in general, but when they're as talented as Carolina. You see how it goes.
They get to the final, but they just ran into a lightning in a bottle team in Oklahoma, and that is a tough thing to stop.
So that part stinks. But the positive to take away from this, if you're a Carolina fan, I know it's tough. I'm in the boat with you. Because you've been here and you've been here and you've been here and you can't get over the hump. They're not going anywhere.
I think they're going to be right back in Omaha. with the youth that they have and Eventually. much like the Carolina hurricanes. They're going to kick that door down. It just was not last night.
336-777-1600. That's the number to call. Your reaction's welcome.
So Carolina getting it taken to them. Last night in Omaha. You can also chime in on our YouTube chat or X stream as well. As Jay Davis says right here, Morgan ain't over Dusty May just yet. In Dusty you can't trusty.
Uh are you still better? You still better about it? 24 hours wasn't enough? I am because I'm seeing Michigan draft or uh Michigan posting about the draft today and all the players. And it's kinda funny.
Yesterday was the first day of the Dusty May children's camp. Oh, really? Yeah. I didn't know that.
So that was awkward. Yeah. Because they had the Dusty May, like, children's camp on the Jumbotron there in the Chrysler Center. No Dusty. And today it was just off.
No Dusty. Yeah. Hm. Yeah, it's brutal. Great for the Mavericks, though.
Happy Prime Day, also. Yeah, Happy Prime Day. To everybody who celebrates. Yeah, I I'm gonna get in on this a little later on. I like to do a little shopping.
Especially on Amazon, you always got a list of things you stack up. It's like, I could use that, that, and that.
Well, Prime Day is the time to get it. And they didn't even sponsor me to say that. I just did it anyway. You're welcome, Amazon. You're welcome for that.
I expect to check Jeff Bezos. It's actually in the prime multiple day now. Oh, really? That's in the middle. It goes until the 26th this year.
Wow.
Well, that's uh That's fun. Oh, yes. Happy spending, everybody. Happy spending. Let's transition.
To the NBA. Because We got the blockbuster deal last night. Got that. Oh, yeah. Jay Davis says you never pulled the NBA challenge.
Do we have that? Yeah, man. Thank you. Good job, Jay Davis. You ought to be on this show, too, producing.
Maybe like a dual-producer thing? I don't know. Maybe figure something out. It's good. We'll be hearing that quite a lot later.
tonight. But Before that we were waiting for this to drop. The Annasanta de Cumpo trade. Um Out of Milwaukee. And it Came down.
Late last night. It was down to the heat. It was down to the Celtics. We knew that. I felt it was going to be the heat.
I felt like that made the most sense. I didn't think they were going to break. And it's kind of weird. You're still seeing some. Chit chat about would the Celtics still maybe try to move Jalen Brown?
I just don't see it. I really don't. Who would you want to bring in to replace him? Because I don't know if there's anybody that big available. I mean, I I don't know.
I just don't think you would want to break up that core. I think I think we're Reaching a little bit on that. I think people are. I think people are reaching a little bit, but the trade. It includes Giannis, obviously.
Bobby Portis. Heading to the Miami Heat. For Tyler Harrow, Khalil Ware, Jamie Jaquez Jr., Kasparis. Uh jacu Jacquionis, yep, nailed it, and three first round. Picks, including pick 13.
One pick swap and one second rounder. That was all from Shams last night, who's been very busy. I would imagine. Here's Where I land on this. Because leading up to this imminent move What we've essentially talked about is: does this really make Miami like a top contender?
Because you lose. What you lose, Tyler Harrow. Where Jock has Jr., you lose some of those pretty good pieces, and you get Giannis and Bobby Portis. Bobby Portis is still solid. especially defensively.
You get That But does it really make you a top contender in the East, up there with the Knicks? The calves I don't Boston I'm not sure that it does. I do think Miami is going to be a good team, pretty good. But to me This move is about the long game. This is about Pat Riley playing.
The long game in terms of years to come, the next three to five years specifically. Because this sets the table on who the Miami Heat can become. Beyond this, like this is good. This is a, I mean, this is pretty solid right here. But What do we know?
Guys have always wanted to go and play, I mean, without Giannis, without LeBron. Like, Miami's a good spot to live. No state income tax. It's a good spot to land. Miami Heat's one of the trendier organizations in NBA history.
It's a good spot to go. It's not Milwaukee. It's not Cleveland. It's Miami we're talking. It's Vice City.
That's it. And now they have Yiannis? To throw into that mix with BAM. I think we've forgotten what Giannis can truly bring to the table. A little bit because he's been stashed away in Milwaukee.
And they never were quite able to return to the title team form that they were in 2021. And then they ended up kind of just emptying The cabinets, and then it just became: you know, Giannis is there, Bobby Portis is there, and I don't know who else, who else is left? Dame was gone. That didn't work. And then Giannis had some injuries the last couple of years.
So we've kind of forgotten. This is Giannis onto the Kumbo. The Greek freak that we're talking about here. And now He joins BAM. He's in Miami.
He's got a fresh start, some fresh scenery.
So I think Miami is going to be a really good team this year. Not top of the East contender team. But I think this move right here is about Who the heat can become in the next years to follow? That's where I land on this. They'll be a solid sixth seed.
And that race. Yeah, well, it's much higher than that because they don't have anybody else. And they can't afford to go out and get anybody else. They only have $18 million left to build this roster.
So so I don't know I'm going to disagree with you and say I don't see the vision here. Giannis has one more year guaranteed on this contract.
So through 26, 27, he's guaranteed. Then he has a player option 27-28. If you cannot get him extended, Then you just traded away everything. For two years of a sixth seed. I'm sure that.
Well, I'm sure that. And I'm sure they're going to get him. Yeah. But. Don't get him extended.
But is he gonna take that big deal and you can't build around him? Like, is he or are you gonna gonna do what Brunson and Kat did and take pay cuts? To keep the team. I think what would happen is, is Miami would be. in a position to be an over the capit Type of contender potentially.
They might have to use some exceptions, league exceptions. draft picks to to fill out the roster with people. But I think they're going to figure it out. I do. You may not see the vision today.
But Pat Riley's no Chum. He knows what he's doing. And I don't think this is about win now, win this year. It'll be good. I think this is about who Miami can be.
In the next Three years. Two, three. That that's what I think this is about. Yeah. Will Dalton is fueled by fans, facts, and a little bit of spite.
You're on the Triads-only live sports talk show, The Drive. How the hell is Not in the hall. Thank you. They screw rod rod ride, they screw rod ride. They screw right, rot, rot, they screw up.
Yeah. Not in the hall of fame. That's a crying chain. But he's still got a pack at. Yeah, and they true right.
They screw up. He just put this on repeat. Just put it on loop. Shout out to Haze Permar. Friend of the program.
Sports Channel 8. Yeah, they screw rod rot. And they did it again. They did it again. See I thought That him finally winning The other day as a coach?
In the same place? that he won as a player. On top of his reputation already, On top of making the playoffs for eight straight years and winning a playoff series for eight straight years, before he we felt this way before he finished the deal as a coach. that he should be in the hall. And here we sit.
Still Still Just a little over a week. After the Kanes got that done. Yesterday we learned he's not going to be. a part of the Hockey Hall of Fame class this year. And It's the age-old question.
What does Rod need?
Well, we'll ask Josh Graham about this. Cause he's a die-hard caniac for his entire life. Much more in depth than I am about this sort of thing. I want to know: like, what does Rod need to do?
Now, from what I can see and what I understand, I guess the way the Hall of Fame works. is you either go in as a player. An executive or a coach. Not multiple at like not not a coach and player. combined in one.
But I don't know. Who needs to who I don't know who came up with that guideline? But it needs to be Taken out of the equation. Like, are you? Here's what it comes down to.
And this is how I view it. When you look at the Hall of Fame. Of any sport. I think the question is, can you tell the story of this sport? without this person.
Can you tell the story? of the NFL without Bill Belichick. No, you can't. Put him in. Can you tell the story?
Of The National Hockey League without Rod Brandemore. No, you can't. This is Rod the Bod we're talking about here. Had significant when the chips were on the table, as a player, when the chips were on the table in the playoffs, he showed up. He delivered.
Not only that. Again, now as a coach, you see the influence. Eight straight years making the playoffs and winning a series.
Now he gets it done and wins the title. And beyond that, He is so revered, not just here. Of course, he's a godlike figure in our state. He's on the Mount Rushmore. But Across the NHL, this guy has.
An incredible reputation, incredible reach. And They I I don't know who or what I don't know how this all works and plays out or what they could. Tweak to get over the whole, you got to go in as a player or a coach. Thing But that needs to be ditched. To get Rod Brenda Moore in the hole.
And I don't even think you're making an exception for Judge, he's a legend. With those things combined, why does it have to be so black and white? Why can't it be gray and him still be a Hall of Famer? Because that's just the way life works. Things aren't so cut and dry all the time.
You know? These things details matter. Context matters. Nuance matters.
So Now, something else I've read into is Apparently being an all-star plays into this and The Hall of Fame. across all of sports really looks at being an all-star As part of the equation, Rod was never one.
Okay. But I don't know. It's just shocking that still That he can't get into the Hall of Fame. He's going to get in one of these times. He is.
But shockingly enough, after they just finished the deal winning the Stanley Cup, it ain't going to be this year. Rod Brindamore, speaking of his reach, Well, let's play this clip first. He joined Adam Gold. Yesterday of the Kane Adam Gold of the Kane's Corner podcast and Raleigh. And he sat down with Rod and After they had learned the news, he asked him like, Does it bother you?
Does it genuinely bother you that you're not in the hole yet? Does it matter to you? Here's what Rod had to say. I listen, I say this all the time. 'Cause I get asked every year When you know what happens, and then it matters to a lot of other patents.
Well, it's starting to because what's happened now when other people have gotten in, and you're like, you could see before, okay, this guy, I get it. Then all of a sudden, you see all these guys go in, and you're like, wait a minute, like, well, then, how does that guy not get it? And I mean, he's got more this, better this, but. You know, that's when you start going, uh You know, but would I love to? Yes, of course I would.
That's you know, for different reasons that people probably think more because it would be an unbelievable opportunity to thank people that I need to thank. in that form that have meant so much to me that you just you can't really You know, and it would be great for this organization. Yeah. Like, that's the other thing. Like, again, getting back to the reason why Rod is so beloved across the NHL.
It's not even about himself. It's about, yeah, this would be great, a great win for the organization, for the Kanes, if I got it. He's not even thinking about himself, really. He's. It's about everybody else.
It's just appalling that he's still not in. And to Jay Davis's point in our comments here, yeah, he's probably eventually going to go in as a coach. I would love to sit here and. Here's the other thing: I don't know when they do the voting. I don't know if the voting was already in before the Stanley Cup result.
Not sure about that, to be completely honest. I'd love to sit here and be like, oh, next year he'll get it as a coach next year. I don't feel comfortable even saying that at this point. I really don't. I don't.
Anyway.
So we were wondering If The NFL? was going to be giving some kind of punishment to Brendan Swissby. when he got drafted. In the supplemental draft, we were wondering if that was going to happen. Do you suspend him for his rookie year?
Do you suspend him for a handful of games?
Well He just got his punishment. And it's It's not suspension necessarily. It's the fact that there isn't going to be a supplemental draft this year. That's it. So this broke.
A couple hours ago, And The league decided there isn't going to be a supplemental draft, and if he wants to get into the NFL, he's going to have to enter the 2027 NFL draft.
So that's the punishment. And that's what you have to remember. He applied to the draft. He had not entered. Like, he wasn't just in.
Like, he applied, and we were waiting to find out. Um And that I think the reason the NFL did this was a couple of reasons. For one, It's out of their hands now. It's like, all right, there you go. He didn't do this on our watch.
We believe he has a gambling problem still. We believe he can't be rehabilitated of this problem that he has in 30 days. We think it takes longer than that. And he did this again. Under the NCAA's watch, not ours.
We're not going to bring him into the league and then have to go through punishing him when he didn't even do it here. No. This is the punishment. We're going to make it more difficult for you to get into the league. Honestly, I think this is fair.
I think it is. If you're gonna reprimand him, if you're gonna punish him in some way, Just let it be this. Instead of just this supplemental draft where teams that might need a quarterback, Jets, Cardinals? Cowboys were starting to ramp up as an interesting conversation because you know Jerry Jones loves the newest and shiniest toy. Can't resist himself?
Yeah, now now he's gotta wait. And now he's got to decide if he's going to play somewhere. Is he going to go to the. Canadian Football League. And play somewhere and just ball out for a year because.
You know, if he sits and doesn't play football for a year, that's going to make... and team's probably a little nervous about taking him. Yeah, I like the idea of him playing Canadian football. Completely different style of the game. Everything is different about it, but you can get used to it for a year and figure it out.
But It it's an interesting take and it It helps the teams, honestly. This punishment here helps the teams more than if they would have waited. Until after the supplemental draft to figure this out. Because imagine the Jets or the Cardinals, somebody that needs a quarterback now, potentially. draft him and intend for him to be their starter.
And then he gets a year suspension.
Well, you just wasted your first round draft pick on a guy who has a gambling The problem. And now cannot play for a year, and he's sitting anyway.
So now you're saving the teams from that liability.
Well, and uh J. Davis. Brings up an interesting question here that a lot of people might have. This is an educational program, or so we fancy ourselves. Why can't he sign as a free agent?
Well, the reason he can't sign as a free agent is because. And losing his college eligibility this year. That impacts that. Like the supplemental draft, you have to either be accepted or denied. And In being denied, that he's not eligible for free agency because he lost his college eligibility.
If he had played college and just nobody drafted him, that would be a little different. Or if he had gone through the supplemental draft and known teams picked him, then he would be an unrestricted free agent. But because he wasn't even allowed to go through that process, he's not allowed to sign with any teams until the draft of next year. That's it. So, Brennan Soursby.
Not going to be able to get into the NFL this year. The NFL has decided this is your going to be is going to be your punishment. It's going to be harder for you to get into the NFL. Best of luck to you. We love your team, just not the way they're played.
This is the Drive, the Triad's only live sports talk show. Oh Oh. Back at it on the drive right here on WSJS. It's draft day. NBA draft starts at eight o'clock tonight.
And We're going to deliver our mock draft, picks one through 14. When you really look at this draft, Yeah. It's so, just so strong. It's got so much juice. Because the top lottery picks.
De Bonsa, Peterson, Boozer, Wilson. Like those would all be guys that in other drafts would be Probably a number one overall pick, but because of how deep it is and how strong it is. Caleb Wilson might not go till four. Maybe that's a sneak preview of our mock draft. He would be a first-round pick in another draft.
Boozer might be a first-round pick in another draft. And these guys are going to go down the board a little bit. That's how good and how juiced. This thing is, but We put a draft together. Let's get to it.
Adam Silver. is walking to the podium. Fans going nuts. The Washington Wizards Pick is in. Yeah.
It is AJ De Mansa. Shocker. There are those that tried to make this complicated. Oh, Darren Beterson, he's only working out for the Wizards. Yeah.
It's DeBonsa. It's always been DeBonsa. Don't know if he's going to be the best player to come out of this draft down the road when it's all said and done. But tonight. He's the number one overall pick.
Let's not overcomplicate this. Utah Jazz, you! are on the clock. Cameron Boozer, come on down. This isn't popular.
A lot of people have him going three to Memphis. This is where a lot of you have Darren Peterson going.
So, I'm personally taking a bit of a swing here, but sometimes these things land and. I Personally, I think Darren Peterson's Issues that he has, whether it's availability. Demeanor I think some of that might spook Utah a little bit. We talked about this during the college basketball season. Oh, yeah, there's going to be GMs that are.
Ready, chomping at the mid to get Darren Peterson. There's gonna be others that see some of that stuff and go, yeah, he's talented. Might be the talent most talented player in this draft. Maybe. But some of these other Things, some of these other details, not something we want to indulge in, but.
Camboozer. His dad spent time as a player for the Jazz. His dad is in the front office for the Utah Jazz. If you didn't know that. I do not believe this is a And I'm not saying this because it's like a daddy ball.
Like, oh, yeah, let's take my son. Nepotism thing. No, Camboozer's a lottery pick. But if you're gonna have the best possible intel on a guy's character and what he's all about. On top of what they already have, it might be Carlos Boozer working in your front office.
So. For all those reasons, I think Camboozer goes too to the jazz. Memphis Grizzlies are on the clock. This is where Darren Peterson goes. This has got to be interesting because they've been dealing with John Morant and his antics for years.
So it's like, all right. Ha ha have some more. or have a different flavor. Darren Peterson. Listen, he's a spark plug.
He's a... Talented as can be. As talented as anybody in this draft. It's just some of those intangibles that you worry about. But Memphis Grizzlies, they go with Darren Peterson at number three.
Chicago Bulls. The card is in. I think this might be the most obvious. pick of the bunch. Unfortunately, because I think I personally believe when it's all said and done, Caleb Wilson's going to have the highest ceiling of anybody in this draft.
He may not be the most talented this second. I think DeBonson and Peterson have him on that by a bit. But I think Caleb Wilson has the most to gain. I think he's the most raw of anybody in this draft. And you're starting to hear a lot of people talk about that.
Draymond Green said something to that effect. Bill Simmons on his podcast was saying something to that effect. Like, it's this conversation's picking up a little bit. He's got a great personality. He's got a great work ethic.
Chip on the shoulder. I think he's going to come out and grind. And, you know, Carolina Tar Heels going to the Bulls has got a pretty decent track record. Shout out to Michael Jordan. But I like this.
I like this move. Your LA Clippers are on the clot, Morgan. And they take Keaton Waggler. Out of Illinois. They are A potential candidate to trade down.
But if they don't and if they stay put I think Keaton Waggler makes a lot of sense. He can be a jumbo lead guard. He can play on the ball and off. And they need a bigger guard.
Somebody bigger to go with Darius Garland. You know that. Darlin's only 6'1. He's under contract for a couple more years, so... Waggler's the tallest option among the guards to go in this range, so I like Keaton Waggler.
to go number five. That brings up... Joyus Randall's new team, the Brooklyn Nets. At number six. A lot of people have Michael Brown Jr.
going here out of Louisville. I don't. Darius Acuff Jr. out of Arkansas. Who was Just a machine in the NCAA tournament for Calapari's group.
Now he's been connected to the Kings at number seven quite a bit here for some weeks. But He's the SEC player of the year. He's the first man to lead that conference in points and assists since Pete Maravich did it at LSU in 70. He's special. He's fun.
He's exciting. And he's gonna be... A Brooklyn Net. Sacramento. Come on down.
Uh This is where I have Michael Brown Jr. out of Louisville going.
So Michael Brown He's very talented.
Now He Had some injury issues down the stretch of the season.
So that might be a bit of a red flag, potentially. He only had 21 games played this year. It was a back issue that he was dealing with. But His best performance of the year came in February when he made 10 threes and finished with 45 points over the NC State Wolfpack. Go pack.
And that night he looked like a top ten pick and I say he goes number seven to Sacramento. Let's speed this thing along. Atlanta Hawks, you're on the clock. Kingston Flemings. Kingston Flemings out of Houston.
The Hawks need a little bit of backcourt help now that Trey Young's not there anymore. And I think uh Kingston Flemings could provide that. The Dallas Mavericks, the new home of Dusty May. There are a lot of people that do not believe Dusty May in Not even two days time. is gonna have the impact.
to say, hey, go get one of my Michigan guys. This is Masai Yugiri's pick. It's his first year there in Dallas. But I'm gonna go against the grain on this. I'm gonna take a swing.
Jackson Lindenborg is going to be the next teammate of Cooper Flag. going to Dallas to reunite with Dusty May. That's what we got. I like him. He's good.
He's real good. He's a little inconsistent from time to time. But if anybody can get him figured out, it's a Dusty. There you go.
Next you have the Milwaukee Bucs and the picks is in. Picks. I say picks because they got another one here in just a few, but this is one pick, singular. I think this is Nada Mint. I think this is where Nate Ament is going to go out of Tennessee.
It is a little unclear where the Bucs might go. This is a bit of a toss-up, but I think this is where he's going to wind up. He's a good wing. It's got size. Had a bit of an up-and-down season for the Vols, but Native Mint, going to Milwaukee.
The Golden State Warriors are on the clock. And this Is where Ademara out of Michigan is gonna go. Hate it because I want to see him go to Charlotte. And maybe Charlotte will trade up. But I...
I'm actually amending one of my factor fictions from last week. I'm starting to lean Charlotte Stays Put. Because I just think they probably feel they can get what they want to get, which is a big man.
Some size, and they can, there's so many options here, they can probably stay put and get what they need at 14. Adimari goes with the Warriors, and now the Oklahoma City Thunder on the clock. Braden Burry's This is where he... is gonna go. Oklahoma City.
Trying to just keep things going. I toyed around with Ademara going to the Thunder. I toyed around with that. A lot of people have him going there in the mock drafts. I'm just gonna go Bradenberry's here.
I don't have a lot of conviction on it, but that's what we're going with. The Milwaukee Bucks, another pick. At number 13. A Lopez will play for the Milwaukee Bucks yet again. Only it's Kareem.
Lopez, regarded as the best prospect to ever come out of Mexico. There's a lot of mock drafts that have him going to Charlotte at 14 I say he goes one pick ahead of that and goes to the Milwaukee Bucks. And now we get to the Charlotte Hornets at 14. Um Marez Johnson. Marez Johnson.
Atta Michigan. In my opinion. Of the three. He is my favorite. And who I believe has the biggest ceiling.
Of all three, he gets it done no matter what. He can play like a guard, or he can play like a big, and he doesn't act small. He acts like a big guy, even though he is undersized. Yep. I like the move.
I like him teaming up with Musa Diabate, a couple of Michigan guys there. That's been our NBA mock draft. Ready? Set. Sports.
Bad traffic, good sports talk. This is the drive. Back at it on the drive, right here on WSJS, where we talk a little. Panthers football.
So the NFL release today. They're top 100 players of 2026. And for the first time of his career, Bryce Young cracks that list, coming in. At number 98 and You know, when you just look at his journey, he's just proof. That Number one overall picks.
They come in different shapes. They come in different sizes. And they develop in different ways at different rates. Nobody's path is the same. That's why, it's why.
You know, when we as Human beings, one of the worst things you can do is compare yourself to other people. It's a very easy way to be unhappy, is looking around. You know, they say looking backwards screws with your neck. It's true. It's true in this context.
Don't look at what other people are doing. Everybody has their own path, their own journey. And it's the case for number one overall picks. Like. You think of a number one overall pick.
You think of somebody that's supposed to just come in, snap number one, year one. Carry the team. And be able to carry them to maybe a wild card or the playoffs, or depending on the state of the team. And that does exist. I mean, Drake Mays in year two goes to the Super Bowl.
It does exist. But A lot of that has to do with Who you are as a quarterback, what you are good at, what your traits are, what your game is. A lot of it depends on what's around you, your weapons. Bryce Young did not have a good situation. In year one.
They put a A terrible O-line in front of him and gave him DJ chark and said, Go play ball. Go figure it out. And you got him. We heard the Joe Person story where he's got a million different voices in his head. People going over the GM Scott Federer to.
David Tapper, it just was not good. It was so dysfunctional. And he took some of the most sacks you can take. I think 63, 62, something in that range.
Some of the most of all time in a season for a quarterback. But then he develops he gets benched. He has that awakening. And then he comes back and you could see a real difference the last two months of that. Year in 2024, and then, of course, eight wins, wins the division.
And goes toe to toe with the league MVP and Matt Stafford last year. And really should have won the game, but the defense didn't do their part. on that final drive. But Everybody evolves. at different rates.
And Bryce possesses a trait That is maybe one of the most important as a quarterback, and that is the ability to stay calm. Under pressure, especially when there's a few minutes left and you're down or you're needing to score. Here was Panthers Corner, JC Horn. on his nickname for Bryce Young. I call him Ice Young because when we get in those moments, there's no quarterback I'd rather have two minutes left and got to go score.
I know he'd get it done. Ice Yum. I mean, it's very fitting. Listen, we... I was at pretty much all the home games.
last year and it it did Get to a point where when the Panthers were trailing with a few minutes to go. and the Panthers were getting the ball back. It got to a point where you felt pretty good about they were going to get in the end zone. They were going to get. The points that they needed, somehow, some way.
Brykes was going to get them down there, and he just. When he's protected, When he has the opportunity to stand in the pocket. He's going to get the ball down the field. If there's an opportunity for it. Ai Shyung.
I think it's very fitting. 12 career game-winning drives. We talk about that all the time. But it is one of the most important things a quarterback can do. It is stay calm under pressure in crucial late-game situations with your back against the wall.
And now you improve the situation from last year to this one. You improve it on the defensive side of the ball. which is huge. And now you got another year for Coker and T-Mac and more receivers. Maybe a 1-2 punch between Chuba and Jonathan Brooks in the backfield.
It's only going to get better from here for Bryce Young, methinks. If that made you mad, it probably hit. I'm on my way. I'm on my way. Welcome to the Drive, the Triads-only Life Sports Talk Show.
Back at it on the drive. Right here. Or WSJS. Huh. The the bets are.
Didn't go so well last night. You okay over there, Morgan? You look like you have to sneeze.
Well, you fight it off. I'll let you do your thing over there. 39 and 39. We've been very back and forth here lately. Like, there was a point where we were very steady.
Splitting 500 each night with the picks. And then it's just like horrendous night. Really good night to get back to 500. Awful night. Really good night to get maybe one game over 500.
Well, we placed four last night. Let's find out how they did together. Stack it up, stack it, stack, gotta stack it up. Get the money, get the money all the time up. It's time to cash in.
Welcome to Dalton's Dollars. Show me the money. Breaking down the board and building the bankroll.
Alright. On the four bets. We went 0 for 3. The fourth one didn't get played. It was postponed.
That was Cubs Mets. Took the uh over Eight and a half runs. That's been postponed to tomorrow.
So I think the bet will still stand, but we'll. We'll reestablish that one tomorrow, but Here were the other three that we, um... went for that didn't didn't go so well. We took Norway to cover two and a half point favorites. In their match with Senegal.
Norway 132. It's a little closer than what we wanted it to be for that to cover. Couple of baseball bets. Yankees, the money line against the Tigers. Tigers won five to three.
Also, took Garrett Cole over five and a half strikeouts. I've had a lot of success. Taking over whatever his total strikeouts is. Yesterday, five and a half. He had fought.
Didn't just give me one! And then the fourth one couldn't even get played! Ah! Ridiculous.
So let's go back to the drawing board as we're now three games under. 500. I'm looking at the A's and the Giants. That's the nightcap tonight in San Francisco. 9:45 first pitch.
I will be taking the A's. to cover as one and a half point dogs. Show me divided! The athletics They've actually been better on the road. Than they have at home.
They're 20 and 17 on the road, 18, 23 at home. And the Giants, they pretty much struggled everywhere. It's just not good. One of the worst teams in baseball. They've lost 7-9 at Oracle Park, which is where they'll be tonight.
And then one of their two wins in that stretch was by one.
So I like. The athletics to cover that. Also looking at Panama. Croatia. A little later on.
Seven o'clock start tonight. I'm going to be taking over two and a half goals. Drove me to the Yeah. Croatia. They Allowed four goals to England in their opener.
Croatia scored twice. And So, I think there's going to be some goals scored here. Panama, they can get in the net as well. Um So I like over two and a half on that front. And then lastly.
I think I'm going to get in on the Braves taking on the Padres in San Diego tonight. Gonna do that. And I think I think I'm going to take the Braves to cover one and a half runs. I actually get pretty good odds on that. Plus 149.
One and a half point favorites. I'll take the Braves. Show me the final!
So we're slapping three back on the card tonight. We're doing that. We're taking the A's. to cover one and a half point dogs. At the Giants tonight, taking the Braves to cover as one and a half point favorites in San Diego.
And then we're going to take over two and a half goals. Panama versus Croatia. That's been Dalton's Dollars. Hoping for a much more productive Daltons Dollars tomorrow. That's what we're looking to do.
If you haven't already. Get to wsjs.com. That's where we have sunny side winds. And if you don't know what that is, I'm about to tell you.
So we have prizes there that all you have to do is sign up and then just wait and see if you win. That's, it's. It's a pretty cool deal. And we got some great stuff on the card here. Brian Adams and Pat Benatar, they're going to be bringing.
Uh their show. The Spectrum Center September 8th. We got tickets for that. Todo? Minute Work and Christopher Ross.
They're going to be live July 29th, so in about a month. out at Credit or Coastal Credit Union Music Park in Raleigh. And then we also have John Fogarty, Steve Winwood. They're going to be coming to Charlotte September 16th. And that's not all.
It's not just shows, it's racing. Bowman Gray, get out to the Madhouse. Feel the speed. I got the need for speed. Poman Gray, we got tickets for that.
Only at WSJS.com. Go there, register. for a chance. to win. All right.
It's it. Let's begin. It's on. Try out Sports Talk for real sports fans. You're on the drive.
Back at it on the drive, right here on WSJS. Where we've got a A visitor that's no stranger to this studio, it is Josh Graham. of Westwood One Sports. Former host of this show. Who's Stopping by after a Costco visit.
How are we doing? I Got a hot dog and a drink. I made a mistake with my order. They now give you way too many options where It's not as simple as I had it down to a science where at the Winston-Salem Costco, I'd press two buttons, have the screen tapped with my card, receive out, and my goal is to beat the people who are having difficulty with the screen. Yeah.
And have my cart parked at the spot.
Now there's an extra screen that pops up that says, Would you prefer a water rather than a Coke or a fountain drink? And apparently, I hit yes on that.
So then there was this lady who's very nice. Shout out to Terry, who is like, you ordered a water, right? I'm like, no, I ordered a, and then surly enough, I ordered a water. She gave me the water anyway. Oh, nice.
Just sitting in my car. That's very nice of her. Along with, I brought perishable items inside because it's hot out. Yeah. So there were a few extra wrinkles to the trip.
Do you want to see what's in the bag? Sure. We can play show and tell. We can do that. We got nowhere else to be.
Of course. This is the video element. Get to YouTube, everybody. The X Stream.
Now it's an Aldi bag, I see. Shack in the deck. I like all the stuff. At Aldi now, I'm strictly a Costco man. Yep.
Got some Jimmy Delight. Jimmy Dean delights this is turkey sausage. My wife eats those. I don't eat breakfast.
So. That's a thing.
So Chipotle Ranch. Chopped kit lettuce, some salad. Good guess. Bags. Healthy.
That's good. This is not so healthy.
Some chocolate truffle bag. Yeah. Pretty good. Again, the wife loves those a ton, and it's not a Costco trip WD. unless you you find an opportunity to get The rotisserie chicken.
Oh, yeah. You know, I've never had the Costco Rotisserie chicken. What? I've had it from Harris Teeter. Why not?
It's only five bucks. That's not bad. That's the whole deal. Why even have a Costco membership if you're not going to get the rotisserie chicken? I think I just figured out what I'm having for dinner tonight.
Thank you so much for that. Not the hot dog? No, I'm going to get the rotisserie chicken. It's good timing to have you in here today because we learned yesterday. You know, we've been celebrating the Stanley Cup.
We had the highlights from the parade yesterday. And It was all ruined because we learned again. That Rod Brendemore is not going into the Hockey Hall of Fame. The floor is yours. What do you have to do?
Hold on, sorry. It's not ruined. I get it. Dramatic effect. It's very dramatic.
They can't take this away from us, those Canadian hockey writers. Why isn't they mad at Ron Francis, too, by the way? Why is that a thing? Oh, I don't know the context of that.
Well, we don't need to get into that.
Okay. The the crux of the problem is The hockey riders will tell you. is that There is It's You either go into the Hockey Hall of Fame as a player or a coach. They haven't had a scenario like Rod Brindemore, where it's. cumulatively No doubt.
that this guy's impact, he belongs in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
So if you're going to be charitable. You could say.
Well As a player. Won a couple of Selkie trophies, best offensive forward. Captain a team to the Stanley Cup, you're going to hear people make the argument.
Well, is Ryan O'Reilly a Hall of Famer? Because he was the captain of the St. Louis Blues and won a couple of Selkie trophies and had been around a while, and the stats are similar if he keeps trending and plays a few more years in the league. A sensible person could say, no, he is not. Thus, if he is not, then Rob Brindemore is not a Hall of Famer as a player.
And if you want to make the argument that he's a Hall of Famer as a coach, well, he won the Stanley Cup literally three days ago. I think you probably knew what the Hall of Fame class was prior to them winning the Stanley Cup. Or it was a week ago that they won the cup. Like, if you want to make a sensible argument, you could argue it. I'd still disagree with it.
Because the difference between Ryan O'Reilly and Rod Brindamore is that There was no question about the existence. of the St. Louis Blues When he won the Stanley Cup with them in 2019. Rod Brendemore. You could make an argument.
That one of the 30 NHL franchises is not. Here today. If not. For Rod Brindamore because It's not just The coaching element of the last eight years, which does matter considering he inherited a team that had missed the playoffs nine straight years. That should factor into it.
It's also As a player, Won the Stanley Cup. As a captain. was on the best line of a team that went in 2002, the BBC line with Eric Cole and Bates Battagula. Falling to an all-time Red Wing team, but that was a closed series for anybody who paid attention. That was a five-game series in 2002.
And let's not forget, he might have been the most important player on that Flyers team in 1997 that lost to the Red Wings in the Stanley Cup final. And if we're going to go further than that, he won a Selkie Trophy after the 2006 win and still had four seasons or so where he played at a high level and Carolina went to an Easter conference final in 2009.
So I think the impact as a player. And Mike Manascalco was with us, the voice of the canes, on Westwood One Sports Night. And he said that he also impacted the game with the way that he prepares. Rod the Bod's a real thing, and that the way that you train, he impacted the sport with people trying to keep up with him, especially when that led to a Stanley Cup win in 2006.
So the player argument, that's a lot more impactful. both culturally with the Carolina hurricanes. And his workout regiment, how it impacted the sport and longevity than Ryan O'Reilly.
So I would disagree with the hockey writer's retort in that regard. And then when you just look at, The ridiculousness of you don't look at things cumulatively. Oh, it's only as a player or a coach. Why? That that it makes it even more absurd that he's not in.
And Here's my hope. You might in the future want to change the rules where you allow, oh, you can have somebody go in as a player and a coach. I don't want that to happen until after Rod's in. Yeah. Because I don't want the same scumbags who are trying to undercut the Carolina Hurricane Stanley Cup win last week.
Oh, it was an easy schedule and you did it. You didn't beat Florida or whatever. Whatever that says that this is an asterisk Hall of Fame inductee where everybody got mad and now Rod Brindamore's in just because everybody got mad. No, Rod should be in by what the rules are today. He should be in.
And then you change the rules because the rules are stupid. Josh Graham with us here on WSJS of West. You can have the floor back. Thank you so much. That's I relent my time.
I wanted you to get that off your chest, though, because it just is very frustrating. Let's get to the big. Headline, we'll get to the Giannis trade in a little bit. But right now, I want to get on the Dusty Mae, John Shire, Dallas Maverick story.
So, Dusty Mae takes that job. Our producer, Morgan, Michigan fan, was very upset about it yesterday. We had plenty to say about the Dusty Pay. This guy still won the title. It's okay.
That's what I tried to tell him. It is. And it's going to be spoiled. It's going to be an interesting draft for him to a lot of Michigan guys here in that area around the nine pick. Didn't the John Harbaugh Jim Harbaugh prepare you for this?
Hey. He wins the title and then leaves. Yeah. And the Sharon investigation. Yeah.
Well, I don't know if there's going to be an investigation into Michigan basketball. I did not. I doubt it not. Yeah. It doesn't seem like that.
I don't think there was a Connor Stallions watching Duke practices. But let's focus on the Duke, the John Shire piece of this. Kind of following in Kay's footsteps a little bit in terms of turning down the NBA.
Now, obviously, this is a little earlier on in John's career than maybe it was for Kay when the whole Lakers thing was happening. But oh, I think he also turned down the Celtics in 1990. Probably did. Probably a lot of opportunities. But.
When Petino was hired, there, I think. Double check me. What year Petino was hired in 90. I think. I don't know if that's public.
Kay told me that one time. Honestly. and people close to him. I think 90 was the year. That that happened?
When was Rick Petino hired at? In in Boston. Our guy Morgan's on that. He's going to get on it. But let me ask you this real quick.
Why do you think John Shire turned down this opportunity to Either team up with Cooper Flag, Chicago was open. I don't know if they pursued John Shire or not, but that's his hometown.
So this could be viewed as maybe his best. You know, set of teams to go to if he wanted to go to the NBA. Why do you think he turned it down? I think John Shire. Turn down this opportunity.
Because They're really Isn't A Safety. Umbrella. or a safety valve to pull. If it doesn't go well. If he goes to Dallas, Visayu Jiri's had a background of getting impatient with coaches and.
My, let's say it doesn't go well for the first two years. Dallas, by the way, for all the hype that there is with Cooper Flag, we're still very early in this. One year in for Cooper. It's going to take a while before Dallas becomes this thing that people think could contend. Yes, you did learn that lesson.
But getting it back to John Shire. If John felt there's some doubt that hey, two years in, if we're not Let's say they lose in the play in. two years from now. Or lose in the first round. And oh, we got to make a coaching change and bring in somebody who's proven has won a title.
And John's out of a job. What's next? Because at that point.
Okay, he'll just go back to college. All right, what's his college resume? Oh, you had all this talent at Duke and you never won a title with it? And that's the only thing you had the best job in college basketball. You didn't do anything with it.
would be the way it's perceived. I think John's an excellent coach. I think he's one of the best coaches of college basketball. I think all the country is reacting to John. But John has to think about his future in a way that Dusty May doesn't because.
Two things. Number one, Dusty May's in his 50s. John's still in his 30s. Jo Dusty May. Took FAU to a final four.
Dusty won the title.
So, if it doesn't work out in two years for Dusty Mae, every college basketball program is going to be lining up to try to bring him back. The same way we hear Brad Stevens always brought up every search or Billy Donovan, that's going to be Dusty Mae. Dusty Mae has that as a fallback. It's different for John. Because John.
As I mentioned, hadn't won a title. And Has the best job at college basketball. And to add an extra element, it's his alma mater, too. And he hasn't finished the job. Yep.
And he understands. That Whether or not it's acknowledged publicly or not. Ian O'Connor revealed this in his book. that he was not the choice of the Duke administration. Coach K.
He he he put He put his neck out there. For John Tire. to get this job. Uh over Tommy Yamaker. And if it's not for Kay, he doesn't get this job.
And I feel there's some. respect there where it's like Oh, you stuck your neck out for me. I'm not going to leave at the earliest convenience, especially when I haven't finished the job yet. Couple more things for you on the way out. Did you find a way to find that answer?
Yeah, I did. Yeah, sorry. It pulled up Boston University at first, but it was 97. He was tired by the time. Oh, so that was later.
I'm trying to think if they hired a 90. I also might be getting it mixed up with Roy. Because Roy told me that he's turned down. A ton of NBA jobs as well. In 1990, might have been one of them, but that's weird.
I don't think it would have been, I think that was K in 90 because Roy got hired for the first time at Kansas. Following in the footsteps of Larry Brown in '88, which by the way, Is the last time a championship coach left after winning a title? Danny in the Miracles, 1988. Roy stepping into those footsteps. There's a reason for optimism.
Maybe you'll find your own Roy Williams. See if that happens. That seems a bit soon to be up for an NBA job. Just a bit. Giannis traded to Miami.
He, I think that's where I. Thought he was going to go. That's where you thought he was going to go too, right? You didn't think they were going to break up the Celtics, right? I didn't care.
Okay. Well, what do you think this does really for the Miami Heat? Because there's a lot of people. I'm one of them. I don't know how much this, like, this is.
I don't really think this makes them a top contender in the East up there with the Knicks and things like that. Makes them better. It does. See, Miami has a knack. Pat Riley's always had a knack post-LeBron.
of finding pieces that keep them in the mix. And there wasn't a ton of fanfare. In fact, it was kind of... ridiculed and mocked. When they brought in Jimmy Butler.
Oh, Jimmy's going to come in and get mad at. Spo during a practice or And then two NBA Finals trips later.
Well, that turned out to be a pretty good move that they brought in Jimmy Butler. This is better than that.
So, is this me saying that, oh, this is going to net a couple of finals appearances? But It is interesting. And it does make Miami one of those places that free agents might look to and say, eh. Long game. No state income tax.
Pat Riley, Erks Bullstra. Giannis is over there, and that also is just... An ideal chef's kiss basketball post-dream. Roy Williams somewhere is hosing himself down, just thinking of the idea of two bigs, Giannis and Bam out of bio.
Next to each other. That uh it it certainly is interesting and I understand the move on both counts. I also understand it from Jimmy Haslam and the Milwaukee Bucks perspective, going this path rather than going the Jalen Brown path. And the reason why it's interesting to bring up the ownership piece of this. is that Jimmy Haslam also owns the Cleveland Browns.
And just went through the Miles Garrett deal. And he's like, you know what? I don't want to deal with, oh, we're going to bring in Jalen Brown and Jalen Brown can opt out of his contract in a year. I don't want to deal with that again.
So we're, I'd much rather prefer getting the bevy of draft picks and starting with having multiple lottery picks and a loaded lottery draft. And then going and building that way, maybe trying to find the next Giannis and build it up that way rather than bringing in another star and trying to bridge it. The NBA draft is almost just a couple hours away. What is the boldest thing what is the boldest take you have? for tonight.
Abuka Corey from Stanford is a lottery pick. I like that. Love that, dude. I remember being at ACC Media Days last year in Charlotte. And running into Kyle Smith.
uh stamford's coach And he's like, hey, we got this kid. Who I think is going to be an all-ACC player? Because I was talking to him about Maxime Renault. I'm like, man, that's tough. You lose Max Renault.
He's like, oh, we got another one. And a Mecha Abuka. I'm like, or not Mecha Abuka. I just made him the bucks receiver. I've been doing that.
Sorry. Abuka, Akori. And I just remember thinking.
Alright, all right, Kyle. Sure. How big is he? Is he 6'10? Like 200.
No, he's a 6'2 guard. It's going to take the league by storm. I'm all right. And he is he a senior? Oh, he's a freshman.
Oh, okay. Got it. Got it. And I hadn't heard of this guy. Uh-huh.
Cool. First month into the season, he's like leading the nation and scoring. Yep, all right, he's pretty good.
So I start paying more attention. I talked to Kyle again after they upset North Carolina. Uh in Stanford back in uh January. And he's like. Telling me more about him.
And oh, he's it's one of those deals. Kind of like with Reynolds. Oh, he could have gone to a bigger school, but his parents were dead to Ivy or Stanford. And Stanford's in the ACC.
So it kind of was a good marriage between academics and high-level basketball.
Okay, that makes sense. Then I go to the ACC tournament where I'm sitting behind the bench and I. I had never seen him in person yet. And I see him. I'm like, oh.
He's small. This isn't good. When the combine rolls around, it's probably not going to be kind to him. And when that happens, he's probably going to decide to go back to college and make millions at some place like Duke. And he actually tested well at the combine.
I thought he was going to come in at six foot. You know, when they list you at 6'2, oh, yeah, you're actually six foot. No, you're 6'2. And the wing spam wasn't all that bad, and that he did well in the workouts, so he kept his name in the draft. I think some people are starting to take notice, but I've also been behind the scenes lobbying for it to Kevin O'Connor and Tom Habastro and Jeff Goodman and others saying, Hey, Abuka, Abuka, Abuka O'Core, my guy from Stanford.
I think. You know, Milwaukee would be a team that makes a lot of sense. If you're trying to rebuild, take some swings. And that's a team I could see with one of those two lottery picks looking at a quarry and thinking.
Okay. There's something here. Josh Graham. Stopping in after a Costco trip. Westwood One Sports.
You'll be back. On Westwood One Sports Night tomorrow night, 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., and you can listen to it right here on WSJS. We appreciate the time, my friend. I couldn't finish this Costco drink quick enough.
I wanted to have the payoff of the sound when the drink is done.
So that way we could have a pulp fiction-like moment. Oh, yeah. Well Yeah, a home inside homework. We're almost there. You're getting there.
You're almost there. You know, WSJS.com, you can find all types of. Ah, there it is. That is a tasty burger.
