Crohn's disease cannot be cured, but On today's Saturday Edition show, Aimee talks with Dr. Nikolov and guest  Dr. Miguel Rodríguez about the affects and treatments for Crohn's Disease.

Aimee Cabo Nikolov is a Cuban American who has lived most of her life in Miami. After many years of healing, finding love, raising a family and evolving her relationship with God, Aimee's true grit and courage led her to pen an honest, thought-provoking memoir. Years of abuse became overshadowed with years of happiness and unconditional love. GUESTS:

Dr. Miguel J. Rodríguez was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He graduated from the School of Medicine of the National University Pedro Henriquez Ureña in Santo Domingo in 1983. After completing his national public health service commitment, in the Dominican Republic, he began his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Harlem Hospital Center, an affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1985. In 1989, he was appointed Chief Medical Resident.  

He completed a Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, CT and a Hepatology and Transplantation Medicine fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ.  

He joined the faculty of UMDNJ in 1994 and remained there until 1996. In the same year, he joined the faculty of the University of Miami School of Medicine and the Center for Liver Diseases and remained there until October 2000. He is currently in private practice in Miami.  

He has authored over 20 papers and abstracts in the areas of Hepatitis and Liver Transplantation. His research interests include: Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis, Liver Failure, Viral Hepatitis in special populations, Pulmonary complications of liver disease, and Therapeutic Endoscopy.
