Danielle West, MA LPC is a neuro- psychotherapist and passionate advocate for a mental health paradigm shift. She has been working with trauma and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) for decades, experientially and academically. She is driven by her conviction that the current psychiatric model is generally failing to treat mental health and instead enabling a consumer market that is dependent on reductionist explanations for a simple business model. Her practice in Georgetown TX focuses on using a state-of the-art treatment for mental health disorders based on a Trauma Model therapy created by her colleague, Dr. Colin Ross MD. This cutting-edge therapy focuses on the brain’s neurobiology, and the energy waves that activate our DNA thus influencing thought, behavior, mental illness, and disease. She is also EMDR certified by the only Shapiro certified provider in Texas, Dr. Christie Sprowls PsyD. Ms. West and Dr. Ross have an education/ consultation group in Tx that focuses on educating professionals to treat complex trauma cases with this model.
