Minnesota's transformation into a sanctuary state for abortion and transgender mutilation surgeries has been accompanied by a surge in Islamic immigration, leading to widespread fraud and cultural changes that are altering the state's identity and values.

Minnesota and the toxic stew of leftism and Islamic immigration. That is the topic we'll discuss today right here on the Christian Worldview Radio program, where the mission is to sharpen the biblical worldview of Christians and to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. I'm David Wheaton, the host. The Christian Worldview is a non-profit, listener-supported radio ministry. Our website is thechristianworldview.org, and the rest of our contact information will be given throughout today's program.

As always, thank you for your notes of encouragement, financial support, and lifting us up in prayer. The Christian Worldview has been broadcasting from the Minneapolis area of Minnesota for over 20 years. The city and state were once known for its natural resources, the forested and agricultural regions and the ten thousand lakes, along with its citizens being mostly descendants of Scandinavian countries with a cultural ethos known as Minnesota While there has always been a significant conservative and Christian presence in Minnesota Billy Graham's ministry was once based here, and Pastor John Piper is from Minneapolis the State has leaned liberal for at least half a century. For example, Ronald Reagan won 49 of 50 states. in the 1984 presidential election.

The state that he didn't win?

Well, that would be Minnesota. In the last 20 years or so, Minnesota has moved from liberal. to radically left. It has declared itself a quote sanctuary state for abortion. in transgender mutilation surgeries and treatments.

It is known for high taxes to fund liberal welfare programs and immigrants from third world nations like Somalia. It gained international notoriety for the death of George Floyd while in the custody of Minneapolis police officers and the resulting burning of the city by rioters. It is led by far-left politicians like Governor Tim Waltz, who was the vice presidential candidate with Kamala Harris, Attorney General Keith Ellison. Who's a Muslim? Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, from Somalia, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frye.

And many more. with the same world view.

Now, just recently, Minnesota again became the center point of the biggest national news story. After a 23-year-old independent journalist from Utah named Nick Shirley. came to town, On the tip, the that the Somali Muslim immigrant community here in Minneapolis. of which there is an estimated one hundred thousand in the State now. are operating the largest scale fraud ever perpetrated.

by setting up fake child and adult daycare centers. Fake child nutrition and autism services. And transportation services, amongst other things, and then billing the state. for services that weren't rendered. to the tune of an estimated nine billion dollars.

This funded not just lavish lifestyles for many of these Somali Muslims. but some of the money purportedly went back to Somalia to fund Islamic jihadists there. and also was potentially money laundered back to the Democrat Party. As the enormity of this fraud story was being digested. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Officers, or ICE.

Entered Minnesota. to find and deport illegal immigrants. Not surprisingly, leftist protesters here interfered with ice agents, with one protester being killed when she used her vehicle to block ice vehicles and then drove toward an officer who shot her dead. Major protests from the left. are taking place here now and across the country.

Liz Collin, a Minnesota native and multi-Emmy award-winning investigative reporter for Alpha News. joins us today on the Christian Worldview to discuss what is taking place in Minnesota. And how it is a critical warning for the For the rest of the country, when leftism and Islamic immigrants take power. And before we get to the interview with Liz, I just want to give a few more details of what is taking place here in Minnesota, and is likely taking place in other states as well. Here's an online summary of the fraud.

The fraud is large-scale scandals involving the misuse of federal and state funds in social services programs. primarily affecting child nutrition. Child care. Housing assistance. Autism services and Medicaid-funded initiatives, and also transportation services as well.

The most prominent case began with a nonprofit called Feeding Our Future. which sponsored sites claiming to provide meals to children in need during the pandemic. Prosecutors allege it was a massive fraud scheme, stealing around $250 million. the largest COVID-era fraud in the U.S. Over seventy people, mostly from Minnesota's Somali American community, have been charged, with dozens convicted or pleading guilty.

Investigations expanded to at least fourteen state-run programs. With federal prosecutors estimating potential losses from $1 billion to over $9 billion since 2018. A viral YouTube video by conservative creator Nick Shirley in december twenty twenty five highlighted allegedly empty or suspicious Somali run daycare centers in Minneapolis receiving millions of dollars in taxpayer funds. Minnesota Governor Tim Walls faced intense criticism for oversight lapses under his administration. On January 5th, 2026, he announced he would not seek re-election for a third term.

So there's a short summary in case you haven't been following this story very well, and it's been a massive story. But why has it been such a massive story? I think there are at least two reasons for that. Number one is that Taxpayers are angry. at how their tax dollars are being stolen.

Another quote from online: Since Governor Tim Wallace took office, Minnesota has seen a significant shift from an $18 billion surplus in the state. to a projected three billion dollar deficit for the twenty twenty eight-29 biennium. That's one reason. But here's a second, and it's this: how the immigration of Somali Muslims into our state has changed the culture of Minnesota. As I mentioned, there has been an estimated 100,000 Muslims from a chaotic country of Somalia.

With a vastly different religion, Islam, and culture settled in this state. who organize and vote as a bloc, who do not assimilate, and who impose their Muslim values. There's a call to prayer five times a day down in Minneapolis.

Somali Muslim culture does not jibe with Minnesota culture. And Somali Muslims are being settled not just in the big city of Minneapolis. But in smaller towns all over the state, many of which you've never heard of. Places like St. Cloud, Minnesota, Fairbow, Minnesota, Wilmer, Minnesota.

Democrats in this state voted for leaders Who did this? And now there's an uneasy sense in this state that that our state has been forever changed. Even our flag. has been changed by Tim Walls to look like the Somali flag. Because he said our original Minnesota flag was, quote, racist.

And I'm not kidding about that. This partnership of the left in Islam is not just happening in Minnesota, though. It's happening in many other places as well, from Michigan. to New York City. Texas, to Maine, and many other towns.

And that's why we're doing the program today. As a warning of this toxic stew of leftism and Islamic immigration. Let's get straight to the interview with investigative journalist Liz Collin of Alpha News. Liz, thank you for coming on the Christian Worldview Radio program today. I just want to start out with a sound bite.

from a man named Jack Pasobic. And he was recently on the Steve Bannon show, who was a former advisor to President Trump. And he actually mentions you in this soundbite.

So I thought this would be a good way to kick off the program.

So let me play this soundbite and then follow up with a question. Why is it this one city, Steve? Think about it. George Floyd, Minneapolis, all right? The trans shooter at the Catholic school, Minneapolis, just two weeks before Charlie Kirk's murder was up there in Minneapolis.

The massive Somali fraud, Minneapolis. There's something, and the great Liz Collin over at Alpha News perhaps could answer this better than me. There's something going on in Minneapolis that for some reason, all of our national stories, these national narratives seem to converge there. Maybe it's a convergence site. Maybe it's a place where the Democrats and the left and the globalists are converging therefore.

Honestly, I don't even know the answer for it. But what I do know is that Minneapolis 30 years ago did not have these problems. They did not have the massive importation of Somalis there. And these scams, this insanity was not being run. Again, that was Jeff Pisobic on the Steve Bannon program.

And we're going to get specifically into the Somali Muslim fraud part of this that's been just all over the news the last couple weeks. But just let's start out by briefly telling us about yourself, Liz, Alpha News, and just what are your headline thoughts on all that he mentioned there that has been taking place in Minnesota?

Well, thank you, David, for having me. It's good to be here. There is a lot to talk about. I appreciate the. Kind words from Jack.

He's kind of become a friend. He's one of the very few in the beginning that would even listen to me.

So I'm always thankful for him to give a spotlight to the work that we do over at Alpha News each day in Minnesota. But yeah, kind of a long twisted road to how I got where I am. But I spent about 15 years over at WCCO as an anchor and a reporter. Before that, though, I moved all around the country, sort of moving up in the corporate world of television, climbing the ladder, landing what I considered the dream job back then at the station that I grew up watching. I'm from Worthington, Minnesota, so grew up in the state of Minnesota.

And then I left. I was just kind of disgusted, quite honestly, over our failure again and again to tell the truth. It really came into focus over the George Floyd riots and what really took place on May 25th, 2020. And kind of had this, I would describe it as a calling, always been a person of faith and. Really try to listen to the Lord when he leads me.

And I thought, well, if there's one thing I can do, I had a front row seat to all of this that helped to kind of run a really beautiful Midwest city into the ground. The power of lies is a pretty powerful thing, but when you do have the power of truth, there's something you can do by speaking up and wanted to do what I could and put out my book, which is a few years ago now, called They're Lying: The Media, The Left, and the Death of George Floyd. And that led to my documentary, The Fall of Minneapolis. And we've done another documentary since: Minnesota versus We the People. And over at Elphin News, we continue to grow.

We're just a small but mighty team, but I think break more stories than any other group in Minnesota and really try to do focus on the lies. We have a lot of people and a lot of Powerful positions that are failed to be held accountable, I think, at every turn. And that's what we try to do, keep as much sunlight as we possibly can. And holy cow, has that happened over these last few weeks?

So that's just a little bit of my. Background grew up always wanting to be a journalist and be a reporter. And I'm thankful that I'm still able to do that to this day, despite being called all the names and all the hate that comes along with it. Still standing strong, and I've always felt that I'm here for a reason, like many of us, perhaps that are listening to this program. And it really takes all of us to do what we can, I think, on a daily basis to fight this evil.

Because, frankly, this is a spiritual battle, I think, more than anything else. Yeah, I agree with that and thank you for introducing yourself to our audience and for what you and Alpha News are doing here in the state of Minnesota with all these society changing events that are being broadcast over the the nation and the world.

Now, specifically about this story of fraud being perpetrated by Almost exclusively, Somali Muslims who were imported here, resettled here over the last, I think it was 20 to 30 years. It's been going on at least. I want to play a soundbite again, Liz, from Nick Shirley.

Now he's become a very well-known name as the young man, I think 23 years old, who took a cameraman and a microphone and just went by himself. Down into these areas of Minneapolis where these purported daycares were located, run by Somalis, and showing that there was nothing going on at these daycare facilities, and yet they're receiving billions of dollars in taxpayer funds to operate these shell scams. And this was. amazingly the biggest story, at least on X. As he went down with a man named David.

You probably know his last name, I don't, but his name was David. And so they had a conversation afterwards. About this expose, and you can see it online. 42 minutes was the investigative reporting they did. But in their conversation, here's what they had to say about what has taken place here in Minneapolis.

How bad is this fraud? My opinion is that this is the worst fraud in human history. What is occurring in Minnesota and more specifically in the Twin Cities right now? And right now, the big controversy is with Tim Waltz and his government and the fraud that they've allowed to happen within the Somalian community. Right behind us is Cedar Riverside, a location where.

Is very densely populated with Somalians. How have Somalians gotten into the system to fraud? the American taxpayer.

Well, so That complex you're seeing behind there, I attended the University of Minnesota. And in the area we're on right now, this is the West Bank. And it was always called the West Bank, and it was sort of the place to be when you're in college. And that was all student housing, 100%. That building you see in the background, it's now 100% Somali.

And I can tell you confidently, they don't pay for their housing, they don't pay for their food. They don't pay for their vehicles. And on top of that, they have Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of fraudulent companies set up and they're sucking billions of dollars out of the state of Minnesota. And how are they sucking billions of dollars out of the state of Minnesota?

Well, one example would be with. The hundreds of child care facilities that they have set up. And on every one that I visited, and I've been to maybe 100 of them or more. I never ever have seen one child at any facilities ever over the past. Seven years, eight years.

Again, that was Nick Shirley, that young investigative reporter who investigated all this fraud going on. And this was actually known that something wrong was happening, but this really blew up the story when he did this video.

So my question is. Why do you think this fraud? in just in the billions of dollars worth is being committed almost exclusively By Somali Muslims, and how did over one hundred thousand of them? Get settled in Minnesota and mostly in Minneapolis and other smaller towns across the state. I'll be quite honest that this is a population that openly admits.

For example, we have the Feeding Our Future case. Let's just take that.

So, this is 2020, the largest COVID scheme in the country. 78 people have been indicted so far. Basically, they're setting up these fake food sites, billing the state, billing the federal government for food that they're not feeding kids. They're lying about how many kids they are feeding, et cetera. It's a $250 million fraud right there.

Well, we have an open court.

Some of the defendants, they basically will say, This is our culture. This is what we do. They've said things like, you know, I'm a businessman. I'm a businesswoman. This is my American dream.

They actually think they're entitled to this. And they don't see anything morally wrong with it. That seems to come off in some of these cases. Not all, I'm saying, but I'm just saying these are things that I've gleaned as a reporter witnessing this. But also, we had this dating back a decade ago.

There was a big story back then about daycare fraud also. And that was tied to massive amounts of money being flown out of MSP, the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, at the time. I recently interviewed again a TSA agent who worked back then, and she talked about seeing two to three million dollars in cash and carry-on luggage at least weekly taken out of MSP. It would be documented, and it was always brought by two Somali men.

Sometimes they're the same, sometimes different. It would be documented, they'd be photographed. This was what was going on. We're aware of people that were on task forces back then and in law enforcement investigating all of this. They would turn over this again and again.

They said to prosecutors they would. Failed to be any charges ever filed here.

So one has to kind of wonder why has this been allowed to go on? I mean, it's no secret, again, being from Minnesota, that we are a welfare state. We've always kind of been known for, you know, our generosity and Minnesota Nice, right? We have Lutheran Social Services, Catholic Charities. These are organizations that have helped to bring.

People here. But in the case of the Somali population, it does seem to be different as far as a belief system. And you even are met with that now that so much of this is in the national spotlight, that sort of this entitlement. That it's so in your face, and it really has been for years. I mean, I've done these site checks myself as a reporter.

You'll have an empty building, you'll see how much money they're getting in tax dollars, you'll see the $80,000 to $100,000 car in the parking lot. That's always seems to be a staple in many of these places. And you get to know that as a Minnesota taxpayer, you get to cover the cost of this. Fraud. And I've seen the tips.

I mean, over the years, there's thousands, I think, at this point that have poured into Elpha News saying there's this place or that place or there's this picture, there's this fake website, there's this AI-generated review posted online. It really runs deep. And in many cases, this is a very tangled web.

Somebody's sister, somebody's brother, that's this fraud, and they've also perpetuated this fraud, and then they've opened up this fraudulent business. But again, as you've pointed out here, David, primarily Somali. I think it's since 2022, there have been about 90 people charged in these Medicaid frauds, including the Feeding Our Future, and 90% of them have been Somali.

Now, with the degree of this fraud being so high, and it's in the billions. Nine billion. Nine billion. Okay. How did the state government, Minnesota state government not detect this.

Our topic today is Minnesota and the toxic stew of leftism. And Islamic immigration.

And our guest is Liz Collin, award-winning investigative journalist for Alpha News, a news site based here in Minnesota.

Now, with the degree of this fraud being so high, and it's in the billions. Nine billion. Nine billion. Okay. How did the state government, Minnesota state government Not detect this.

Much earlier and act on this over time. There's just no way you can have these kinds of expenditures across all these different sectors, even like non-emergency medical transportation, just booking drives, charging drives, and not actually taking anyone. It's just a huge fraud scheme. How is this not? known earlier by the government.

Well, I think that it's fair to say the government has known about this from the very beginning. You have to remember, we are a state run by. Primarily Democrats for at least the last 20 years. It's been that no Republican has held state office. You've had many Republicans try to bring this to light over the years, but that's kind of how the legislature works.

If you don't have power, there's not much you can do. But I will say that you really do see this. There are calls now for people to audit the state budget in Minnesota, but that's really what you do see this as. It's like baked into the legislation. I'll just highlight a recent example because this is a story that we were on for a couple of months, but we were delving into some vans that were sitting in an area for a long period of time.

Or if they were spotted moving at all, there would never be any passengers.

Well, it turns out they were paid millions of dollars over the cap payment allotted through the Minneapolis public school system. And we thought, golly, this is really strange. And then sort of through that story, we found several Somali-owned companies being run through. The Minneapolis school system, they had similar invoices. They all looked the same.

It was almost like this cheat sheet of how to set up this business and everybody did it the same way. And what we found is that the law changed in 2023 under the DFL trifecta, that there was 100% reimbursement for what they call this homeless and highly mobile population.

So kids that they said were homeless.

Well, what do we see that happens in Minneapolis then? A year after this law passes. a 40% spike in the homeless population in Minneapolis. Seems crazy to me that all of a sudden that many kids are homeless, but sure enough, we dig in more, there's no real verification system for the kids that are homeless. Nobody's following these vans around.

Nobody knows that the kids are on these vans. Nobody knows who these kids are. I mean, it's absolutely wild. I mean, that's just one example on a small scale. And again, these programs are really everywhere you look baked into the budget.

Liz Collin is our guest today here on the Christian Worldview, a journalist for Alpha News. We have links to her at our website, thechristianworldview.org, including the publication she works for.

Now, I read this online.

Someone wrote this question: the question for Minnesota news media. in how many other states Would a governor be running for a third term after presiding over rampant fraud and the depletion of an $18 billion surplus?

So Governor Tim Walls came in with an $18 billion surplus in the state.

Now we're $3 billion in debt. $21 billion turnaround, if I'm not mistaken. And then it goes on to say, why did it take a 23-year-old Nick Shirley from Utah to produce action on this? And then copied in this tweet was the ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox affiliates here in the Twin Cities, along with the two big newspapers in town, the St. Paul Pioneer Press and the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

So, how would you answer that question, Liz? Coming from the news industry yourself, how on earth? Do the major news sources in this, the Twin Cities area, not find out about this or not really report on this very much? How do they sleep at night? That is the real question.

Now, everybody in the media in Minnesota is well aware of all of this. I just think that. More than anything, you have cowardly behavior amongst the media. I'll just say, from my personal experience, I'm married to a retired member of law enforcement who sort of got swept up in the George Floyd situation. He was serving as the police union president back then.

And of course, he's a racist and he's all the bad words, you know, after serving the city of Minneapolis for 30 plus years. And we had four protests at our home that summer, and I had a bomb threat sent to the house. I could go on and on about all the death threats posted online. And people were well aware of my work ethic and professionalism at WCCO back then and really failed to report the truth, not only about me, but about that entire news story. There is such a fear in Minnesota about being called bad names, and that has been weaponized.

Race has been weaponized by our leaders in Minnesota. You even hear Tim Walls speak this garbage to this day about white supremacy, and that's what this is all about. And thankfully, I think we're at a place now where people are just not buying that anymore. But people need to hold on to their six-figure incomes or people are. Are paid a lot of money to read the words in front of them and the news.

I'm well aware of that. And they fail again and again to really. Fully informed the public, but I'm thankful for independent media because I frankly don't think people would even know what was going on in the world today if we didn't see this explosion like we do now on X and YouTube. And there really is still ways to get the truth out. And I'm thankful that we live in a day and age where that's possible.

Yeah, I'm very thankful for that as well. I think there's probably a lot of people around the country listening today who maybe heard a little bit about this story, but this story is absolutely gigantic in the ramifications going forward. And not only has it been a big story here in the Twin Cities and nationally, but the federal government has sent immigration and custom enforcement agents here, along with 2,000 federal investigative agents, to come to Minnesota to see what's going on here. What do you anticipate will be accomplished through this? I know it's one thing to be outraged, and this is terrible, and immigration, all the things that surround this story of fraud.

But what is really going to become of this? This is a very tight-knit Somali Muslim community. You have, like you mentioned, a very protective Democrat-leaning media in power. You have a very protective Democrat political class here in Minnesota. Is anything going to become of this?

I mean, no one's lost their job yet, as far as I know, but what's going to become of this? It's a great question. I wish I could predict the future. I think people are going to certainly be anxious for something to happen. They've already cut off funding.

In many cases, that's having a tough effect on actual legit businesses because there are legit programs and they want to help people. And that's what's really the victims in this. You know, there'd be those business owners and those patients and clients and whatnot. And that's pretty sad as well. I just don't know how it's not possible that some of these folks are not involved.

We saw many defendants from the Feeding Our Future case, they were donating to many Democrats in Minnesota. One of the right-hand men of Jacob Fry stepped down. He was involved with public housing. He was charged with the Feeding Our Future scheme, but. You have Governor Walls.

He's pictured with one of the defendants, Attorney General Keith Ellison, is caught on a questionable audio recording, basically saying he was going to. Fight for the folks to get more funding and not sticking up with the state that he's actually representing.

So that's strange. How much did he know? Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, there's an awful lot of lies she's told, documented over the years.

So, will there finally be some consequences there? But just with the amount of it seems resources federally they are pouring into Minnesota. And we have heard some comments here in the last few days, basically saying the Department of Justice is standing by. I think if there's something to find, they're definitely going to find it. But I just, again, think this isn't one man, this isn't just.

Governor Tim Walls. That's what I think is kind of funny: this head fake that seems to be going, like, I'm not going to run for re-election again, but. I think this is much deeper than this one guy.

So we will stay tuned. And we actually have a special, it's funny, even months ago, we put up this special fraud page on Alpha News. If you go to alphanews.org, right at the top, it says fraud in Minnesota. Click on that, and you can see we have hundreds of articles, videos, and that dates back at least a decade with our reporting.

So you can really see how far back this goes and how deep this is.

Now we've titled the program today Minnesota in the Toxic Stew of Muslim Immigration and Leftism. Those two working together. And this isn't just Democrat, like old-style Democrats. It's very hard left here in Minnesota. You mentioned some of the names of those in charge, like Governor Tim Walls, very far to the left, along with Congresswoman Johan Omar, a Muslim herself, and as is our Attorney General Keith Ellison.

You mentioned him, our Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan, Secretary of State, I believe it's Steve Simon. And this group is, again, not just a little on the left, they're way on the left. And I'm going to go just outside Minnesota for a second here to New York City, who just recently inaugurated a new mayor, a Muslim named Zoran Mamdani. And he is an outward Professing democratic socialist. He was sworn in with his hand in the Koran by Bernie Sanders, another Democrat socialist, just days ago.

And here's what he had to say when he was sworn in. For too long, those fluent in the good grammar of civility have deployed decorum to mask agendas of cruelty. Many of these people have been betrayed by the established order. But in our administration, Their needs will be met. Their hopes and dreams and interests will be reflected transparently in government.

They will shape our future. And if for too long these communities have existed as distinct from one another. We will draw this city closer together. We will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism. If our Okay, just to repeat what he said again there, it's the new mayor of New York saying, We will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism.

with the warmth of collectivism. This is something that Mao or Lenin or Stalin or Marx would say.

So This is the same worldview, by the way, here in Minneapolis. On the Minneapolis City Council, I believe there's that. Three or four of them are Democratic Socialists, just almost one for mayor as well, too. What do you make of this joining together? I I would call it the Red-Green Alliance, actually, Red Communism, Green Islam.

Of this hard left, really bordering on communism in New York City for sure, with Mom Dami, and also in Minneapolis, Seattle. Especially in a time when the country voted for President Trump in a more conservative direction for the country. Really great points to make. And I think even a couple of years ago, people would think when you would talk about it, oh, you're this conspiracy theorist. And I think they get it now.

We really tried to do a good job when all of a sudden Walls was elevated to the national stage. You had these people come forward. And again, I was thankful that Alpha Hoose even existed because I know no mainstream media would touch this at all. But here are these strange connections to China. Why the heck did he take 30 trips there?

Why was he married on the five-year anniversary of Tiananmen Square? Why was he sort of had this fawning admiration for communism that he would comment as a teacher in his school in Mankato? We heard from former students about that. We were able to document and speak to some of the people he served with in the guard who also questioned how the heck was this guy allowed to travel back and forth as a National Guard member. But they were questioning why did this manual go missing that Tim Walls was in charge of during his time in Nebraska that details Detailed the nuclear capabilities of this army tank.

And all of a sudden, China started producing that very same tank shortly thereafter and speaking to these people on the record.

So, stories that were able to, they were able to be told from whistleblowers. Frankly, I couldn't even tell you how many people reached out to us after saying, oh my gosh, this guy could not be our vice president. There's some really scary red flags in his past. And again, all the documented lies he's told over the years. But this communism piece, you see that again and again in Minnesota.

And I think people are starting to see that as well. Even in the language you're playing there of the new mayor of New York, Momdani, you had Governor Walls this week saying that same thing about their, you know, the Republicans are trying to turn this place into a cold place in Minnesota. And it's all part of the playbook. This is, they're all pulling from this same playbook. And you have people who traveled with Walls to China.

And they talked about this, that he would buy the little red book, Mao's book, back then. He said he would collect. Them as souvenirs to give to people. But he could recite things in the little red book and just talked about his love of China. But he's never going to really say that in interviews, but nobody's asked him about it either.

But so many people have witnessed this behavior from him. You have his wife even talking about she wanted to smell the burning tires of the riots that took place. That, I think, in a way was his sort of uprising in Minneapolis. That he held the guard back for a reason, didn't protect those businesses for a reason, helped to defund the police for a reason. And this is all has ushered in sort of this communism, socialism.

It's clearly something he believes in. We have this paid family leave going into effect in Minnesota, the free school lunches that are now a part of the law in Minnesota. Everybody thinks, like, oh, this stuff all sounds good, but I don't think they're really completely, fully aware quite yet of what this really means. Again, Liz Collin, journalist for Alpha News, is our guest today. After this short break for some ministry updates, we'll discuss how we should respond to this partnership of the left and Islam to transform our nation.

Our topic today is Minnesota and the toxic stew of leftism. And Islamic immigration. And our guest is Liz Collin, award-winning investigative journalist for Alpha News, a news site based here in Minnesota.

Liz, a man named Dan Bermawi, who's the author of the best-selling book, Islam, Israel, and the West, he posted this online. He said, the war between Islam and the left is inevitable.

Now, I was just talking about the joining of them, but he's kind of saying the opposite here. The war between them, the Islam and the left, is inevitable. Right now, they're in an unholy alliance, both using each other to destroy Western civilization and erase Judeo-Christian values. The left embraces Islam as a tool against the West, pushing for mass migration, as has taken place here in the Twin Cities, diversity and endless appeasement, believing they can control the beast of Islam once it's unleashed. Islam uses the left's obsession with tolerance and inclusion to infiltrate institutions, spread its ideology, and position itself for dominance.

The alliance is doomed. Islam isn't an ally, it's a conqueror. The left, in its arrogance, thinks it's just recruiting another group for its anti-Western crusade. But Islam has no loyalty to progressive values. It doesn't care about feminism, homosexual rights, or secularism.

The same radicals the left defends today will turn on them the moment they gain real power. The left fights against the system that gave it freedom, while Islam fights to replace that system with. Submission. I'd like to get your thoughts on that particular assessment of this allyship, this red-green alliance, shall we say, between the left and Islam. Actually, recently on my podcast, I featured a man from Iran who had a really just fascinating story.

Mohammed Faridi is his name. He's no Christian minister, but he spoke about this growing up in Iran and then being basically introduced to the Bible and gave his life to the Lord and came over to America. And this is what he does now: converts folks to the Christian faith coming out of just the darkness. And I don't think people are completely aware of that either. He would talk about how they're.

Beating each other up, or they're cutting each other, or cutting yourself, and just the violence and the darkness that he grew up under in Iran. And I think there's kind of this, you have to really skate around the issue, especially in Minnesota. Like, you know, that this doesn't seem. Right, but don't ask questions and kind of accommodate it every turn. We've seen that happen as well because, God forbid, you're called a name.

But I think that when you are talking about just the evil at work, there is so much of this. But I will say that that's just such an interesting interview to hear about his perspective because he does explain how there is so much of a connection between communism and the left and Islam. He really makes the connection well, and that's sort of all part of the game plan here. But he was talking about how much hope there is also because he says the more people that have access to the Quran, the doctrine of Islam. They're reading it and they're able to understand it now.

Whereas, you know, this is kind of just drilled in their head, like in Iran and whatnot. They just are not aware of this other life with Christianity and the Bible. They're not aware of the light.

So they just need people to introduce them to that faith. And thankfully, we're able to do that over here in this country. But all the more reason, right, to not be quiet and to fight this darkness in any way we can. But that's just an interview, not to have some shameless promotion here, but something more to check out on this subject, I think. Yeah, I saw that on your page on Alpha News, and we can link to that on our website for listeners to see it.

Final question for you today, Liz. I received an email from one of our affiliates who airs the Christian Realview radio program.

Someone who runs one of the stations at the program Arizona, and he had heard some recent programs we've done on this related topic of the growth of Islam here in America. And he says this: I'll get right to the question. Do you think that once. Islam or Muslims get embedded into a community like Minneapolis or Dearborn, Michigan. that the Muslims could be minimized and lose power.

We both know it is their goal to take over the country. They have this stated goal of dominance over the world. I'm just wondering if there's any hope in your opinion. for once they get started to be able to push back and minimize this. And I think a lot of Minnesotans Are asking that question right now, realizing the political power.

That Somali Muslims have in our state, especially with the left. They're wondering that in terms of what their own towns are becoming like, the change of the culture that's taking place, that many have been settled, not just in Minneapolis, but also in smaller towns across the state, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, Rochester, Fairbow, Minnesota, maybe even down in your hometown. I'm not sure whether in Worthington or not, other places around the state where they're settled into these towns, and it's an enclave. And what's this going to do to our.

The historic sort of Christian communities that maybe aren't overtly Christian anymore, but they had this kind of Minnesota Lutheran typically. Cultural ethic all over the state, and how this is going to change. Is there any going back on this list?

Okay. Yeah, I think that's actually part of the very conversation I just had recently with Pariti and what the work that he does. And actually, he was touring in Minnesota to some churches and just talking about the freedom of leaving Islam for Christianity and that connection, Islam binding itself with leftism.

So I am a Christian, so of course I always have hope and believe in good things. At least that's what I pray about. The more people that see the light. And I will say also, you know, we live in a time now where the information is there. Like, you know, the younger generation, they can't really ignore it.

Whereas before, you know, the older generation, it was kind of like they had three choices for the news, or they had two choices for the news, or they had two choices for television. You know, the information flow is just able to be manipulated a bit more than it is now. But I think once you really have that juxtaposition of what life is like under the Lord and what it's like, you know, if you are serving Islam, it is so radically different. And where would you want to align? I even think.

That even part of this fraud coming to light is the Lord at work, I think. This has given me actually a lot of hope for our state moving forward. That this sends a message: like, hey, you can't get away with stealing millions of dollars, billions of dollars. And there is such a thing as still the American justice system. I believe in that.

This has kind of re-energized my belief in Minnesota, also, especially because we're just not going to take it anymore.

So, yeah, I want to leave people with a positive message that there is hope and the light is here. We got to just, I think, kind of keep the lights on for quite a while here yet, to be honest.

Well, Liz, I appreciate your coming on the Christian Roview Radio program today and even more for all you're doing at Alpha News to expose the lies, the fraud and the things going on in this state in trying to bring the light so people can see it.

So thank you again, and all of God's best and grace to you. Thank you so much, David. I really appreciate it. Again, we have links to Liz and Alpha News on our website, thechristianworldview.org. This would be particularly helpful for our Minnesota listeners because the media in this state is so biased to the left.

I wish I had as much hope as Liz that increasing Islamic influence in our city and state can be turned back. Of course I believe God is in control and will do whatever brings him the most glory. Even though the Somali Muslim community is extremely closed and conversions to the true faith of Christianity are rare. I rejoice in any one saved from being lost in that false religion.

So yes, there could be some individual conversions. But we only need to look to Europe to see the big picture when Islam infiltrates a society like in England, France, Germany, and Sweden. an increasingly secular society as they and we have is no match for Islam's mission to dominate. I've heard many Muslims state the exact same mission as this Islamic scholar. Islam did not come to coexist.

We can't think of Islam that it came to live with these other religions in the sense that Islam is a religion amongst those religions and they have a share with the truth. Islam came to correct all of that. Islam came to remove the oppression of all those religions. And it is the only truth. And it is the only way to justice.

He actually says it milder than other Muslims who outright say America's days are numbered.

So, no, apart from a miraculous act of God, I see Islam rising or gaining in America, not waning. In fact, the left settling those here who seek to dominate in towns all across our state and country. Maybe God's judgment on this nation will be which has largely rejected him. just as he used godless nations to punish his own people, the Jews. The average Somali Muslim may not wake up in the morning here in America to take over.

But they will side with what the Imam in their local mosque commands them to do. Here's one revealing thing about this fraud issue. How is it possible? that so many devout adherents to Islam defrauded the State of Minnesota and Federal Government. of billions of dollars without even one of them coming forward to blow the whistle and declare, This is immoral and wrong.

Just imagine the opposite. Hundreds of committed church-going Christians in Mogadishu, Somalia. operating a scheme to scam their government. Sure, some professing Christians might, quote, lose their religion to be on the take. But there's no way many of them wouldn't be convicted in their heart to the point of blowing the whistle.

Why? Because any authentic Christian would be under the conviction of the indwelling Holy Spirit and speak out that this must stop. But Islam is very different. It is a political ideology that uses religion. A religion based on a false god, Allah, a dead prophet, Muhammad, and a fallible book, the Quran.

in order to achieve power and profit. Muslims should have never been settled in this country or other Western nations. as Islam is not compatible with the values of Western civilization. Muslims obey the Quran and Sharia law. not the Bible and US constitutional law.

which allows them to lie and steal and do whatever. to take over. The only way to resolve this is to not import Muslims, or actually deport those here who are defrauding us and working toward our demise. And certainly not let them build mosques, which is where they organize and mobilize. And whether the political will to do that is present in the world.

Is another question. In the meantime, Christians ought to do two things that are not contradictory. Number one, politically stand against this. Islamic threat in defence of our Constitution and way of life. It's not a biblical virtue to passively stand down in the name of, quote, welcoming strangers who are defrauding and trying to defeat you.

And number two. Yes, engage individual Muslims with the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the only thing that can save their deceived and lost souls. offering reconciliation with the one true God of Scripture. Yahweh.

So let's be reminded of the truth of Psalm 103. The Lord has established his throne in the heavens, and his sovereignty rules over all. We should not fear. but let's remain faithful. Thank you for joining us today on the Christian Worldview and for your support of this non-profit radio ministry.
