And y'all, I just think our nation has lost its mind. What in the world is going on in our country today? Social deviancy is being taught around every corner, everywhere we look, different things are going on to basically brainwash our kids in society today. So what can we do about that and how can we take a stand in society?

How can we understand what is going on? And y'all, it's time for us to engage. And like I said, our nation has lost its mind, particularly over transgenderism. Why are movie studios, our government, and even our public schools pushing and even shoving a transgender agenda down our throats?

Y'all, I don't get it. I mean, even, you know, the homosexuality agenda has been pushed down our throats, but we're talking about, excuse me, less than 3% of our society, but our entire culture is looking now at transgenderism, excuse me, I'm sorry for coughing, and to trying to normalize social deviancy. I believe that there's a concerted effort to normalize sexual deviancy in America today, and we've got to take a stand.

Folks, if you're just joining with us, this is Chris Hughes, and welcome to The Christian Perspective. I don't know about you, but man, I am sickened by what I see that's going on in our nation today. I mean, just look at our school system.

I was recently talking to Connie Iverson, who joins us every Friday. We were recently on a show talking about how things are so different from when we were kids. Our kids, you know, school begins soon. We have to prepare them for things that they just normally wouldn't have ever heard or learned about. Our federal government is funding to the tune of over 120 million dollars curriculum in schools today that start as early as kindergarten called common sexuality education, and a big part of that education is normalizing transgenderism. They're trying to get kids in, you know, five and six years old to say whether or not they're a boy to say whether or not they're a boy or girl, or maybe they've been born in the wrong body. Do you know that there are closets at some schools in our country today where kids go to school? Let's say you have a little girl. She goes to school dressed as a little girl, and the school has clothes for them. When they get to school, they can change clothes and become a boy once they get to school and change back before they go back to see mom and dad, and parents don't have a clue it's going on because school systems and even some state legislatures are forbidding faculty, staff, and teachers in schools for telling parents how their kids identify once they get to school, and to y'all, that is wrong. Those are our children, not the children of the school system or the teachers, and we just need to take a stand. There's a refusal in our society today, even among Christians, even among pastors to call this mess sin. The Bible is very clear.

God created them male and female, and he didn't make a mistake when he did it, y'all. We have got to take a stand in this culture today. It frustrates me even with what's going on in the military. You know, President Biden has opened the door. I think I could be wrong, but I believe that President Trump did not allow open transgenderism in the military, but today President Biden, back when I was in the military, you could not even be openly homosexual.

That has now changed. Not only can you be openly homosexual, but you can be openly transgender, and that is going to cause a problem within the morale of our military units in the country today. And then of course, look at what's happening in athletics, particularly in female athletics. You have boys who are in girl wrestling, who are openly wrestling girls, and listen, if they went through puberty, they have the hormones and their bodies are physically different. And in most cases, males, and it's not a discrimination thing to say, but biologically, we're always saying, look at the science. The science is clear that in most cases, males are stronger than females.

And of course, we have this case where this one guy is running around. He couldn't compete against other guys in the swimming world, but he's the number one ranked female swimmer in college athletics in the United States today. We have runners, also men competing in track and field events, and they're defeating girls.

I don't know about y'all, but as a parent, that infuriates me. One, if I've got a young lady who has worked her entire life to be a great athlete, my wife, for example, was a world-class softball player. She was a three-time All-American, two-time All-World softball player. I would hate to know that she was having to compete against men in women's athletics.

I mean, when they would play on co-ed teams, which sometimes church leagues and others, I mean, as good as Vicki was, she couldn't hit a ball as far as most men could and can't throw as hard as most men can. And so, y'all, it's just wrong that we fought for women's rights all these years, and now we're letting guys go over and pretend to be girls and compete in their arena. We've got to take a stand and defend our wives and our daughters. And another thing is, you know, I'm not going to stand for any gymnasium or athletic arena that allows men to go and take showers and share bathrooms with my wife and daughter. Just not going to do it. And I'm not going to put up with any pervert running around.

There are too many cases. You know, you can say what you want. That guy who's pretending to be a girl is still a guy.

He's got his guy's sexual urges and hormones in his body that are driving him in a particular way, and it's really getting out of hand. It's what's happening across the country today. Remember, just a few months ago, there was a transgender in Virginia. It was a guy pretending to be a girl, and he had sexually molested at least one young woman in one school system, and they covered it up and hushed it up, and he moved to another school system, and he did it to another girl there because he was allowed to use the same bathroom.

He would go to these girls' bathrooms, and he was molesting girls. Y'all, that is wrong, and we need to stop it from happening in our country today. We'll come back from the commercial break.

And I'm talking about some of the things that are going on in the news today that happened just this past week in our country. And I wanna share with you something, this really shocks me. So I don't know if any of you listen to Todd Starnes. I love Todd Starnes. He's got a nationally syndicated radio program, Todd Starnes. He's got a radio program. He's got a radio program. He's got a radio program. He's got a radio program. He's got a radio program. He's got a radio program. He's got a radio program. He's got a radio program. Nationally syndicated radio program, Todd's a friend of mine and his show is broadcast from here in Memphis where our studios are also in Memphis, Tennessee. We're based on the campus of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.

And just a few miles down the road, Todd Starnes has his flagship radio station where he runs and records his daily radio program from there. And Todd shared with me just the other day that there is a cheer camp in Texas this past week that opened up to a trans counselor. And when it did, trouble ensued. Y'all, anytime we let guys be around girls in unsupervised areas and he's sleeping with girls and using girls' bathrooms, and that was the case. This was a female camp where female cheerleaders were at camp in Texas. And what happened is a 25-year-old man who identified as a woman ended up, thankfully, being removed from the cheerleading camp after he allegedly choked a teenage girl, okay? He didn't sexually molest her, but again, and if you saw the picture, this is a big burly guy. Of course, he's got his little miniskirt and cheerleading outfit on and his long hair and his makeup, but he's a guy, clearly a guy. He's muscular, he's strong, and he was in the camp staying in the same room with teenage girls using the same bathroom as teenage girls. And one of the girls recognized that he was a man and said something, and when she did, he went nuts. And he called her transphobic and was all over it and accusing her of things, and so she reached out and called her parents and told her parents, and the guy just went crazy when the dad said, look, if you touch my girl, I'll kill you. I can't say that I blame the guy. Now, I'm not condoning physical violence against anybody, but let me tell you, if you mess with my wife and daughter, you better look out because I'm not gonna put up with it.

And neither should any of us. So this transgender cheerleader identified, his name is Avery Chanel Medlock, was kicked out of the camp finally, and he was slapped with a criminal misdemeanor by the local police because he choked this teenage girl simply because she called him a man. Well, hello, follow the science, brain damage. You are a man. A penis, excuse the term for those listening with kids. You were a biological male. The girl didn't say anything wrong. You are a man, biologically, and the science previous.

The big hulking guy, and he claimed that he was the victim after cheerleaders accused him of being a man and after the father said that if he hurt him, he'd kill him. Crazy, y'all. Why in the world is a man being invited to a cheerleading camp? Why is a man being allowed to participate in female athletics at all? Why are men being allowed to identify as women in the United States military? Why is a man allowed to parade and masquerade as a girl in our school system?

We have got to get a grip on this. The guy got on meds. He said the reason that he choked the girl on the team is because she was being disrespectful and called him, quote, a man with a penis and that a guy should not be on the team. And he said, quote, I stood up for myself. And she called her mom and dad because she was scared because I took up for myself. The man wrote in a Facebook post.

Well, hello, that's not proper. Big deal if somebody calls you a name, and I know it might hurt if somebody calls you a name, but you're not supposed to take physical violence of this 25-year-old man. He chokes by the neck this teenage girl because she called him a name he didn't like, which was being a man. What have we come to in our society today?

Y'all, it is crazy. Mike Jones, who's the father, this is a 17-year-old girl. Mike Jones, the father, said that the guy choked his daughter. And he said, I asked you what you've done when receiving a phone call at 1 o'clock in the morning when your daughter's stating they had locked themselves in a room with other girls. So the dad gets on his Facebook.

The other guy's posting on his Facebook page. Y'all, what would you do? I can't imagine getting a call from my 17-year-old daughter at 1 o'clock in the morning telling me the 25-year-old man acted like a girl choked her and she was so scared that she and other girls were having to lock themselves in a room and hide. Our society is going crazy today.

We've got to pay attention more than ever and protect our daughters and, you know, people publicly shame us or try to humiliate us. You can shame me all you want. I don't care what you say. Transgenderism is a sin, and, you know, anything, lying and cheating, other things are a sin too, okay? The Bible tells us that sin separates us from God. The Bible tells us that all of sin is all showing the glory of God. The Bible tells us wages of sin are death. All sin is wrong. I'm not saying that transgenderism is worse than any other sin, but we don't have a problem condemning theft or murder or lying or cheating, and it's time for us to stand up and say that transgenderism is wrong. It is a sin. It is impure sexuality. It's sexual deviancy, and just like homosexuality. I know some of you are going to get mad at me about that. It's a sin, and pastors, you need to get a spine and quit cowling down to the liberal culture in our society today, and you need to be preaching that it's a sin in church.

You need to preach that without Jesus Christ, we're all going to spend an eternity in hell, but through the saving grace of Jesus Christ, we can have a relationship with Jesus and spend an eternity with him one day. I'll tell you another organization that is really getting me worked up today, and that's Disney World. What in the world has happened to Disney?

I remember when I was a kid, boy, we get so excited on weekends. They had a show, The Wonderful World of Disney. Tinkerbell would fly over a Cinderella's castle, and the show would come on, and it was a family-oriented company. They pushed good family values, but with the current CEO that they have right now, that CEO is pushing not just a homosexual agenda, but a strong, strong transgender agenda, and we've got to take a stand today. I can't support Disney anymore. I used to like to go there, and I like to take my kids there, but we're not going there anymore. They can have the beliefs they want to have, but they don't have to push those beliefs on us and shove them down our throats, which is what they're doing.

They're brainwashing our children to normalize sexually deviant behavior, and that's just got to end in our society today. I'm going to take a break real quick. When I come back, I'm going to tell you what's going on with Disney World, some recent things that are happening within the Disney Company and how you need to be aware of what's going on. You know, it just amazes me how society will accept anything but a Bible-believing Christian. They can push the transgender agenda, the homosexual agenda, the same-sex agenda, but Lord forbid that you have anything public to say about God's Word or taking a stand on God's Word today.

And society's trying to make it where you're a kook or crazy if you believe in God's Word. And, you know, they don't want it taught. They don't want it spoken about in public schools or anywhere else. You can't fly a Christian flag, but you can fly the pride flag. You can't talk about Jesus in school, but we can have pride parades in our communities. You can't have nativity scenes at Christmastime on public property, but we'll take government dollars I know in the little town that I live in North Carolina. Recently, a city council member is homosexual, and he was pushing a gay pride parade in our community.

You know, you can do what you want to do, but why can't Christians have what they want to have as well? Because Christians are being silent and not taking a stand. These people are not ashamed of who and what they are. You know, good for them, but homosexuality has come out of the closet.

It's time for Christians to come out of the closet and take a stand on the Word of God and not be ashamed of who we are. And I tell you somebody that is leading the way. Disney is a major corporation in our country today. They basically own the media and Hollywood culture. All the huge Marvel movies, those are all produced in cooperation and partnership with Disney. Disney owns television networks, not just the Disney Channel, but news networks and outlets is all.

They have a huge presence on social media and on the Internet, and they have a major influence in our culture today. And, you know, they recently took some heat, but not enough, because there was a movie called Buzz Lightyear that came out, and it was kind of an origin story. If you remember the Toy Story movies that came out a few years ago, one of the characters in Toy Story was Buzz Lightyear, a beloved character, you know, sold a lot. They sold a lot of toys and dolls, not just the movie, but they had TV shows to go with it, and they got an origin movie on Buzz Lightyear that recently came out, and they had a transgender kiss in Buzz Lightyear.

You know, why is that necessary? Why do we need to be pushing that stuff on our youngest kids? And they are doing it because people think that Disney is great, Mickey Mouse did this or that, and if they normalize the sexual deviancy, then they're raising a whole generation that will not see transgenderism or homosexuality or same-sex marriage as wrong. And Christians, we need to wake up to that. We shouldn't be going to Disney World.

We shouldn't be supporting their agenda and their parks. They have really targeted their Christian employees recently. Just in the past week, there have been several former employees who have come out and talked about how Disney has been pretty open about they didn't care if they had Christian business or not, and yet we keep pushing this on them. This came after two former Disney employees were fired after giving religious exemptions for the vaccine. You know, they claimed that when Disney was requiring everybody to have a vaccine, these people asked for religious exemptions, and they were fired for it. But that's just the first of many steps that Disney has taken against Christians and continues to do so. So what's happened at Disney is really a moral failure.

Walt Disney had a vision for a wholesome family entertainment company. Even Franklin Graham, Billy Graham's son, was recently talking about Disney, and he says that they've gone too far. Todd Starnes, who has a national radio show, Todd talked about how Christians are addicted to Disney. You know, we claim that we oppose things that are anti-Christian, but we keep going to Disney, we keep supporting them, we keep going to their movies. You know, I was frustrated, the Southern Baptist Convention, now the Southern Baptists are the largest Protestant denomination in the world. We're supposed to take a strong stance on Biblical values, and the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention was in Anaheim, California this year, and they were encouraging people to go to Disneyland, which was across the street. We don't need to be going to Disneyland and support them when they are supporting openly. They're not just supporting anti-Christian values, they're not just supporting anti-family agenda, they're not just supporting homosexuals, they're not just supporting transgenders, they are shoving this stuff down our throats, and we need to take a stand against what they're doing. But yet the Southern Baptist Convention openly embraced them when they had their annual meeting out there. Now we've got to take a stand of what's going on in our country today.

It's time for us to not be ashamed of the Word of God and to take a stand on the Word of God. You know, when Walt Disney began, it was just a small company back in Los Angeles in 1923, and no one foresaw the phenomenon that was about to take the world by storm, but since then, Walt Disney Company, in conjunction with subsidiaries, they have a lot of subsidiaries like Walt Disney Animated Films, Pixar is one of their subsidiaries, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, they've produced over 500 projects for screens and thousands of books and toys and memorabilia, they've got Disneyland in California, they've got a place in Japan, they've got a place in France, they've got Disney World Epcot Center, three parks across the country, millions of visitors every year go, and they're putting Disney, Disney is number five, on the Forbes list of top gross businesses in the world. And they were once a great wholesome family company. But is that still true?

I don't think they are. So how should Christians view Disney? Well, you know, remember a few years ago in probably the early 2000s, Disney really became a princess culture, they introduced a whole new line of characters, they sold clothing and toys and costumes, but then they started supporting the LGBTQ agenda. Really, do you know that it really wasn't open in the world so much at that time? In the early 1990s, Disney openly supported homosexual issues.

Now, the world didn't really know it. In 1991, Disney World hosted the first Gay Pride Parade, and in 1995, they offered gay executives health benefits for their partners. Now, this was 15, 20 years before it became mainstream in America.

They offered really benefits to homosexual couples that were not offered to heterosexual couples that weren't married and were living together. There's been a debate over certain fictional Disney characters that attempt to normalize homosexuality and androgynous lifestyles. The fact is, the Disney Channel began introducing gay characters with coming outs way before others did. They also have portrayed a lot of non-Christian religious practices and pagan practices before others did. In 1995, they had that film Pocahontas, which was really a film in that category. It promoted New Age beliefs and Native American religion and paganism. The Lion King in 1994, they were pushing shamanism and fantasion.

Even in 1940, it had some paganism in it. Christians have got to say that we're going to take a stand, and these areas that they claim are gray areas are not really gray areas anymore, but as Romans 14.5 says, they're an area of conscience. We need to be taking a stand against what's going on today. I'm not going to go crazy and all my rants are raised, but when I looked at the news this week, I just wanted to share with you that we need to wake up as Christians. The Bible tells us again that God created us as male and female. God intended marriage to be between one man and one woman. Governments tried to interject in marriage, but y'all, marriage is not a government institution. Marriage was created by God, and God said in His Word, and this is really the Christian perspective.

For those of you listening as Christians, you want to develop a biblical worldview. It doesn't matter what society says today. That doesn't mean, and I want to be clear, we're not to be hateful to liars, cheaters, adulterers, homosexuals, or transgenders.

We need to share the love of Jesus with them, but we don't need to be condoning their behavior, and we don't need to be supporting them. As long as we're supporting big companies like Disney that are openly, I mean, they're not even hiding about it. Their CEO has said that they plan to introduce more and more transgender homosexual characters. Do you know that at theme parks now, used to they would call them Mr. and Mrs. and welcome boys and girls?

None more of that. They're gender neutral now, and no one is allowed that works for them to even address people by their biological, true, scientific gender. Y'all, that's just wrong.

What they're doing, not just Disney, but our government, our public schools, and many other institutions today are trying to make us basically a one-gender society. That's what they're after. They're doing anything they can to do away with biblical values and what God's Word has said, and we need to just take a stand against it.

Again, we love them. We want to share the love of Jesus with them. Y'all, the truth is that there is only one way to change our lives, and that's to put Jesus first in our lives. We need to surrender our sin, not just homosexual or transgender, but also to Jesus.

Ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us. The Bible tells us if we confess our sins, He is faithful, meaning Jesus, to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all righteousness. The Bible tells us as we confess Lord Jesus Christ and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. Saved is a Christian term meaning that we will spend an eternity with Jesus in heaven one day. The Bible tells us that these human bodies are temporary, that we have a soul that will live through all of eternity, and the decisions that we make in this human life will determine where we spend an eternity, whether it's in hell with Satan separated from God or an eternity in heaven with Jesus Christ. If you want to learn more, I would love to share with you how you can come to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

It's really simple. We just need to admit that we have sinned and confess our sins to Jesus, asking to forgive us of our sins. And then it's like riding down the road knowing you're going in the wrong direction. Do a U-turn and go in the right direction that Jesus has called us.

It's changing our lifestyle. We're from a sinful lifestyle. And I know that there are people that have same-sex attractions. There are people that are married that might have attractions to other people.
