And now, the Horns of Light Chronicles. Welcome to Horns of Light, and today we've got another adventure. It's amazing where we're going and where we've been. But I guess anytime you get on board with God, he takes you places you never dreamed. And so today, we're going more to the Senator Tim Scott. You know, this is a political season, so why not, you know, talk about that.
So, Pete, take it away. Sure, yeah, kind of last time we went off a little bit on Revelation and the Rainbow as a result of that prayer, kind of going to pray in Ronald Reagan's bedroom, and kind of the prayer that was offered up at that time was, Lord, would you raise up a man of color that carries the mantle of Ronald Reagan to bring his country together with a wife that honors you more than Nancy did. And so that was kind of the prayer, and that journey kind of continued.
It led to another fast, and it was kind of funny. I turned off on the expressways, I was talking to my friend and was on a pretty long extended fast and as we turned off, I look up at the sign, it was that same exit for Ronald Reagan's birthplace and it was the days of fasting that really felt Lord had told me to do was the same number of miles that it was to Ronald Reagan's birthplace, Tampica, Illinois, I believe is the name of the town, and so anyway it was just one of those cool confirmation things. And then, I guess the next part of that really leads into August 8 part of that story. A few months before I think, I don't know if you remember it was weeks or months but really just felt the Lord speak and say that August 8 is a significant day was going to be significant day in American history. And so basically just threw it up on, you know, Facebook August 8 significant day in American history. And, and so, as that day approached Nancy Pelosi was getting ready to go to Taiwan, and you know in my mind my vein imagination starts playing. And I'm thinking this is World War Three another Pearl Harbor kind of thing that you know, going to the worst case scenario, and an August 8 came and it went and got towards the evening and nothing had really happened and just was like wow I, you know, really, really felt that but really felt like it was one of those handful of moments where you just really felt God speak in my life, and that it was really clear so it was just kind of a, you know, oh well I must have really missed that, and then, and then I get a text from a lady who had prayed for me.
Years back right when I came to the Lord and kind of you know somebody if you as a mother in the Lord. And she sent me a text and said Do you see what they're doing to Donald Trump and so I didn't, you know, I got on the news wasn't watching, you know, heavily, heavily daily into the news at that point in time. And so, it came up that they were rating, Donald Trump's home, that was the day that they did the Trump raid. It was really interesting as I got onto YouTube and listen to one of the local broadcasters and he came with the exact words that the Lord had really placed on my heart or a given is today's a significant day in American history and then he went into the whole Trump raid.
So that was kind of just a puzzling thing so what are you saying Lord in the next day I get a text from friends. My friend's wife and says, you know who had shared the whole Senator Tim Scott raise up a man of color kind of thing really kind of feeling that that might be the person Lord was talking about, and 700 club did a story now is run one day behind so this would be August 9 of 2022. And basically, they started off with the story of the Trump raid and then they went right into Senator Tim Scott and he was talking about in that story about being bringing unity to the country. And so it's just kind of interesting and I thought for sure he'd be, you know, President or Vice President if you would have asked me before he had dropped out of the race or, you know, when Trump was letting out of thought for sure that he was going to be his vice president. But that's kind of one thing that I'm learning through all this is as the Lord speaks things just, you know, to sit and watch and wait and see his hand just moving guide and the tapestry that he's going to paint out of that whole situation so it's just a really interesting to me.
I really believe that. And then just recently Senator Tim Scott married, a woman that really seems to be honoring the Lord he talked about meeting her and they did a Bible study kind of together on their first date and she just seems to be really God fearing woman and that just happened within the past, past few weeks or past month here. So that prayer that really feel the Lord had put in me one of those times that, you know, you know you're not praying something out your own self I guess you could say but so it'll be interesting to see the series of events or how the Lord uses Senator Tim Scott in bringing this country together maybe it's stuff behind the scenes that that will never see or never know.
But, but anyway that's, I've just got my watchful eye on that situation and then kind of in January 2024 some a friend of mine and I will lead into that segue that thread I guess in the future, had that had gone kind of evangelizing with small town a small town in Illinois. He was stranded in Colorado, and wanted this because of the freeze that had happened. Oh here and close they were at a conference in Colorado and him and his group wanted to know if they could they were going to get a rental car and stay in the city with us and, you know, of course, so him and his team came and it was just so beautiful. He was sharing some things on his heart and then we just said hey let's just, you know, start praying and the Lord really started opening things up in prayer, and, and then one of the young men in his group, and his sister, he just started praying, and he started praying. The city on a hill related kind of to Ronald Reagan without knowing anything about the story of Reagan in this thread and afterwards I just said hey just so you know what you prayed there's a significant thread from my grandfather, kind of shared the story a little bit with him. And then his sister said well I'm being offered right now a full right scholarship and they're both people of color.
And he said we're being offered a scholarship, she's been offered a scholarship right now to the university that are the college that Ronald Reagan went to in Illinois and she talked about seeing a big chunk of the Berlin Wall there so all this stuff is just kind of, I don't know popcorn popping. And then we just start talking some more and as everybody's kind of getting up and getting ready to go to sleep I get a text from a guy at work who hardly ever text me and he texts me a Ronald Reagan speech or speech. It's just so weird so it was just one of those Okay, Lord, what are you doing, and then my friend with the whole game they get up to leave early in the morning and it's dark I can't remember five or six in the morning or right before six. And just as he's a minute or two from my house he calls and he says, Hey, this is something that normally happens. There's a guy running through your subdivision with an American flag.
And I started to chuckle I said no Jay I have never seen a guy run through our subdivision with an American flag, especially the road that he saw him and wasn't kind of the main road of our subdivision it's off to the side so anyway just a lot of and I've seen him since and my daughter's seen him once so it was just a series of strange events. So really believe again that God is something and Senator Tim Scott is really heavily into Reagan and history and the Reagan library from some stuff I've looked at and researched on him in line online it just really seems that, you know, he seems to want to carry carry that vision that Ronald Reagan gave, which kind of really leads to what that vision was and you know Ronald Reagan was known for that city on a hill, and that brings up. Matthew five, 14, and 15. And then it's kind of even brings up things that I really feel kind of brought you and I together Robbie, in the sense that you kind of had that encounter with the light of the Lord. And in your room and for me it was that light that came down in Petra Jordan. So I guess, in the midst of all this it's just the importance of letting our light shine, and it's just interesting to see what the Lord will do, if we're willing to let his light shine through us. I love that you make reference to the menorah, and, you know, when we all get to heaven we're going to get a replay of that. And, you know, I've been thinking about this whole idea of black holes recently.
I think we talked about that last week a little bit, didn't we? Yeah. That, you know, that that's what I call created light or light that comes from the sun or reflected off the moon or some other planet, you know, that's created light and that light is made up of photons and it can be crushed by a black hole but divine light is another deal. And when we get to heaven, you know, one of the first things that's described in Revelation is the menorah and that, you know, that there's seven candles right there and that they are the seven spirits of God is what it says in Revelation.
And so I'll never forget, you know, one of the watershed moments in my understanding of that was I was just like immediately, like, what does that mean? What are the seven spirits of God? And I probably Googled it or whatever I did and it sent me, you know, to Isaiah 11 where they go into that wonderful, I mean, it's one of my things. I've spent hours and hours and hours and hours on Isaiah 11 which, you know, again, gets back there to what you're talking about out of Matthew. And what it says in Isaiah 11, it just started the first chapter, the first verse, it says, And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of its roots. And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him the spirit of wisdom, understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge, and of fear of the Lord. And he shall make him quick understanding and of fear of the Lord, and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears. And if you count those, you'll find, again, there are seven anointings of Christ.
And of course, Christ's name means the anointed one or the Messiah, both means anointing. And so here we got seven anointings, and they are wisdom, and understanding, and counsel, and might, and knowledge, and fear of the Lord, and essentially the delight in the fear of the Lord. And so as you begin to really look those, in Hebrew, it opens up a whole new world to how light is separated. And when you get that idea that light itself, right, if you think about when you were a kid and you were studying rainbows, then it was Roy G. Biv, right? Red, orange, yellow, blue, I mean green, blue, indigo, and violet. And so you'll see that here's this seven, and there were seven, obviously, days of creation, which line up interestingly with those colors. And you're going to find there were seven last words from the cross, which also line up fascinatingly with those colors, and also with the days of creation, right?
Interesting. Oh, it is, it is. And even from my standpoint, when you look at the 119th Psalm, which I know I'm going to go all over the place, but it's just the way my mind works.
No, please. The 119th Psalm is made up of eight verses of every single of the 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet. Well, interestingly, yeah, it is very interesting, and the number seven in Hebrew is letter het, and it has to do with a marriage, with a union, right? And we're united with Christ, and that number seven has to do with that, but it also has to do, of course, with these seven anointings. But the number eight, excuse me, excuse me, the number seven is a Zion, and it is a reflection of us back. The number eight is the union number, it's the het, and I got ahead of myself a little bit there, but it is the miracle idea.
So whenever I looked at all those verses in the 119th Psalm, or if you go back and listen to all those episodes I did on every verse, you're going to find that I always looked at the first verse as wisdom, the second verse as understanding, the third verse was counsel, the fourth verse was might, then knowledge, and then fear of the Lord and delight, and the fear of the Lord was just, and you can just see it all over the 119th Psalm when you look at the seventh verse in each letter. But when you get to the eighth verse, which the number eight is always a miracle, because God did everything he did in seven days, and then on the eighth day, I mean, we do all we can do for seven days, and God does the rest of it on the eighth day, and that's why Jesus, from my standpoint, was raised on the eighth day after the triumphal entry. That's why, you know, a Jewish boy is circumcised on the eighth day. They cleansed the temple, not to cleanse it, they ordained the temple, I'm trying to think of the word. The priest, the Levitical. Right, on the eighth day is when they, you know, essentially put the blessing on the temple.
The same kind of thing, just like you put the blessing on the boy on the eighth day. That's so fascinating. Right, and that being, again, that idea of union. So, when you say that here you are, you're a light, but your light is broken up into, in other words, and this is beautiful when you think about it, that when you all of a sudden get a flash of insight from the Bible, it comes through as wisdom, and it's like a light that goes off. And I don't know, if you go, if you want to, you know, just again to rattle on before we run out of time, if you go look on YouTube and you look that they have now discovered that at the moment that a sperm fertilizes in a female egg, in any animal, but especially in a human, it's like a lightning show. All these sparks go off, right? And so, same thing, when you get some kind of wisdom that comes in from some divine light comes into you, sparks go off, and that whole idea of a light bulb comes on. But you can't do anything with it until you add understanding.
The light comes on, but it's not really available to you until you find a practical way to use it. And as you begin to apply that, then all of a sudden you get the second part of that light, which is understanding. There you go, yep. And then when you begin to see how to use that understanding, that's counsel. And you see how that...
There you go. And again, we've got to stop because we're just way over time. But hey, you get the idea that, oh my goodness, this relates so much to a deep understanding of the Scripture.
