Welcome to the Horns of Light Chronicles. Peter Berbalis chronicles his family story, prophecy, and testimony. God's story unfolds, from his grandfather in Lithuania, Nazi Germany, the Russian Revolution, to Ronald Reagan in the fall of the Berlin Wall, the gospel spreading across Eastern Europe, how God called Peter to Petra, Jordan, and so much more as prophecy and testimonies unfold. And now, the Horns of Light Chronicles. Well, welcome to Horns of Light. In today's episode, we want to dig a little bit deeper into this idea of the light that's in Daniel chapter 12. And, Pete, this has really been an amazing adventure, really, of a hunger and a thirst to get to know God on a deeper level, right?

Yeah, absolutely. It was just, I don't know how to describe it, but somewhere in that 2018, God just brought me, took me out of a desert and brought me into a place. All I could say, describe it, is like walking into the ordered steps of God for your life. And, you know, that first love was reborn again, that it talks about the warning and revelation of losing it. And there was just a hunger for the Lord that rivaled when I first came to the Lord. And it was his doing.

I mean, it was his doing. So it was just, that's a marking point in my life for sure, from where all these things came from, all these different paths and kind of themes, I guess. Yeah, they're absolutely beautiful strings and themes. And so when we, our last episode, we'd been talking about Daniel chapter 12, verse 3, and remind us, how did that passage become significant to you? Well, what had happened was, that's kind of the kickoff for me in kind of was just doing my devotions one morning. And that passage really just stuck out to me in relation to the shining of the light and leading the many to righteousness. And to me, it just seemed that that context was in a, was in relationship to kind of an end time gathering of people because it, that next verse kind of puts that in context of the end times. And then I used to go pray on a Saturday at a church every Saturday morning for the Sunday service, and I just could not escape that verse.

Daniel 12, 3 was painted on the kids' walls, ended up being one of the pastor's offices, and it was just, I just couldn't escape it. It was like the Lord sic that verse on me like a tipple, and I had no knowledge of Petra or any of the things that were still to come that the Lord would unravel. So it was just this, those that are wise will shine, and then the leading of the many to righteousness. That verse is one of the marking points of change in my life. So as I was digging into that verse last time, I had talked about the word shine, which is, you know, any time in Hebrew that they take a word and repeat it, they're putting great emphasis, like Jesus would say, verily, verily. I mean, truth, truth.

Well, here you come. When he says shine, shine, there's a lot to that word. As the letter shine begins with the letter Zion, and that letter Zion is the seventh letter in the Hebrew alphabet, which makes it significant. The number seven is very, very, very significant, and it tells you the importance of it, but what it has to do with the female energy that is reflecting a light. It's not the source of the light, but it's a reflection of the light, and so the sixth letter in the Hebrew alphabet is the letter vav, and that's a male energy that comes down, and so that male energy coming down, when it's reflected back, it's the seventh letter of the Hebrew alphabet, which is the letter Zion. Now, interestingly, the eighth letter in the Hebrew alphabet is the letter het, which is the two letters, one on either side, connected by another little mark that means a hetateric, and that letter has to do, well, it's the eighth, so it's very much a miracle letter, but it also has to do with our union with God, and anything that has to do with marriage, you're gonna find the letter het. And so it's fascinating to me that in order to have wisdom to some extent, you gotta be reflecting something back that you've seen, and the whole idea, by the way, of the horns of light, that's what this podcast is called, is this was a light that was reflecting back.

If you look carefully at the photo that we've talked about, this light was not coming down that he saw in Petra Jordan, this light was coming back up. But before we get to the light, and I can talk about that a few more minutes, but before we get to the talk, the word light, let's stop at the first word, which is wisdom, or wise. It says they shall be wise. Well, fascinatingly, as I've studied that, as I'm sitting here looking at it, it's not the hakama word that normally is considered wisdom, or when you look at the seven anointings of the Holy Spirit in Isaiah 11, the very first one is hakama, which is wisdom, the spirit of wisdom.

That's not the word here. The word here is sikal, which is a different word that they've translated wisdom, but it really has more to do with the idea of pondering or cogitate. When you really, really are thinking over and meditating, almost like the first psalm where we talked about the oaths of righteousness, but on this word they meditate day and night, and so this has to do with almost that kind of thing as the word sikal begins with the letter shin, which means that something's getting cooked.

It's being oxidized. That's what, the letter shin looks like a fire, and so something is burning, right? And then interesting, the second letter in sikal is the letter hoof, which has to do with desire, and so when you're burning with desire, you're trying to understand something, and that last letter in the word sikal is a lamit, and lamit has to do with learning and teaching. When you learn something, you naturally want to teach it. And so it's a beautiful idea of, this is a different kind of wisdom, but more of the study of something that leads to an understanding that there's no other way that you can come about it. You've got to meditate on it, and as this is the case with this particular verse for you as I think about it, Pete, you've been meditating on this verse for years and years.

Yeah, I mean, I've been, you know, I even got into the concept of, you know, what the heavens were in that time, which is different than our concept of the permanent basically is kind of what it seems to be describing, and yeah, I mean, so to get this insight that you're giving is something that I have desired for a long time since 2018. And it's just really interesting to me because really the concept of God's light shining down on us and really the intention isn't to have that light be hidden or to have that light bring glory to us, but it just seems like what you're saying is that it's all supposed to be going back up to him to give him the glory, so we're just kind of a conduit in the midst of that cycle of light I guess is what I'm hearing from you describing this. Right, and so, you know, the neat thing, this verse is absolutely gorgeous to look at, I guess all of God's word is, but this one's just jumping out at me right now, so you have that word-wise, and that they will be, that idea of cogitating, they're going to be really seeking after God and thinking about his word, and then it says shine, which is this word zachar. And so that letter that starts that word we talked about is the seventh letter in the Hebrew alphabet, which is the Zion, which is going to be this female energy that's reflecting back the energy that came down.

In other words, when you learn something and you start to share that light with somebody, you are in the letter Zion. I mean, that's a beautiful thing, you're going to shine, and so interestingly, the second letter in the word zachar, and you can hear it in the H sound, is the letter hey. And so the Hebrew letter hey is, let's see, the fifth letter in the Hebrew alphabet, it's the fifth letter in the Hebrew alphabet, and it's very much connected to even the sound of it. When you see somebody, you say hey, right? And it's an expression, so when you see a hey in a word, something's being expressed.

Well, in this case, it's that female light, it's that light being reflected that's being expressed, right? Because when you put a hey after a Zion, you've got this expression of this light, and so that shine would naturally be, you know, the idea of the expression of the light. Well, the last letter in the word zahar, and you can hear it in the R sound, because you hear the Z in the Zion, and then you hear the H in the hey, and then you hear the R in the zahar. That letter is the letter reish, and the Hebrew letter reish, way down in the Hebrew alphabet, but it has to do with, it's the very, in the beginning, right?

Because you hear the word in the beginning in Hebrew is bereshit, you can hear the R, and the beginning of something, or the start of something, or priority of something is the letter reish. And so when you think about this light, the horn of light, it was initiated, it was the start of a light that was being expressed. That is just, again, just the beginning, because there's so much more to come. Amen, amen, amen, amen.

So when he says shine, shine, what he's talking about is clearly, you take what you know about God, and with his help, you share it, and wow, I mean, that's exactly what it's calling for. And obviously, you're right, the next word is firmament, right, which is this idea of recall, excuse me, raha. So to break that word down, because you were studying it, firmament, which, you know, not coincidentally, in Genesis 1.6, God said let there be a firmament, so God actually made this, and it begins with the letter reish. Okay, so here we, again, have the beginning of something, and we have the priority of something, and so that word begins at it. The second letter in the word raka is a kuf, which is one of my favorite, favorite, favorite letters.

That's Habakkuk, right? Right, and the letter kuf has to do with both proximity in time and space. So the point being that if you get closer to God, the more holy you will become, but also time will stand still. Like, if you've ever been, like, talking to God in prayer, and all of a sudden you look down and you're watching, man, three hours went by, or maybe you were talking to another really wonderful believer, having an amazing discussion, and all of a sudden you look and you go, wow, how in the world did an hour pass by? Or how did we already be 12 minutes into this podcast when it seems like we just started? Well, as you get close to God, you go into eternity, and time has no effect.

Interesting. And if you look in the kuf section of the 119th Psalm, the eighth verse, which is always a miracle verse because it's the number eight, that one says, Thy word is true from the very beginning, and all thy righteous judgments endure forever. Again, it has to do with the proximity to the beginning, to the end, which is what we're doing here. So you start with the beginning, with that reish, and then you move with the kuf, you can see, like, man. And he's going to be talking about righteousness, so he's talking about the beginning and the closeness to God into eternity.

And then beautifully, in this particular letter, this word, excuse me, rakah, it ends with the letter ayan. And that means, to give you, again, a detailed explanation, I know I lose some people with this, but to me it's so fascinating, I can't help but talk about it. So the letter ayan has to do with the I, and when you look at the letter, it looks like a Y, but the idea of that is you have two I's, but if you ever thought about it, you have one vision.

In other words, you only see one thing, you don't see two things. And so the idea of where there's no vision that people perish is because you're not seeing what God has planned, right? And so in order for us to get on board, and also the word has to do with being a servant as well, well, if you're going to serve God, you've got to have his vision. You've got to see where it is that he wants us to go. And when you think about this whole idea of firmament and connected to this idea of God's vision, you can see that the priority of what God put after his… Again, that kuff is telling me it's a proximity to the beginning, and then there's this space of the firmament that is helping you get God's vision for what it is that's coming to some extent.

Do you follow that at all, Pete? I do, and kind of the idea, and this is a tangent, but what keeps coming to mind as you're saying that is similar to Moses and… Joshua, Moses and Joshua, and Joshua having to, you know, being one of the ones who saw God's vision for the land, and as a result he was able to enter it, and Moses, they talked about him literally having horns of light basically when that veil was having to cover. It just, I don't know, it just starts going into a lot of different thoughts as far as, you know, Joshua's proximity to Moses in the tent, and Joshua is oftentimes, you know, another word for Jesus, led to the conquering of the land basically. Anyway, just a lot of tangents are going, but I fully understand what you were saying in relation to proximity to the Lord and getting his vision, and then that's ultimately what, you know, we're supposed to be doing is carrying out his vision with our lives as best as we can see. Yeah, because it says the brightness of the firmament, in other words, as you, you know, when you put this together, this idea of, okay, so if we're going to be studying and pondering and all this stuff so that we can be wise, or, you know, the idea of that is then we will begin to shine, and as we began to shine as the brightness of the firmament, which is fascinating. Or you think about God's vision is so bright, if you were to actually see it, you couldn't take it.

Yeah, no, that's true. And as many as the stars, so in other words, what I get from that is I really have never really analyzed this verse like I have right this minute, is that as more and more and more believers get this vision, you know, there's going to be more people to get the vision than our stars in the heaven. And when you think of that promise to Abraham that God gave to Abraham, as numerous as the stars in the sky, it really seems to tie into that. And I don't, there's just a lot there. Yeah, yeah, and unfortunately we ran out of time, but boy, something we can all spend some time being wise with.

Pondering, pondering. Oh, I, you know, again, I love, love, love the stuff as you do. And so it's my joy and always enjoy these episodes with you, Pete, so much. God bless you, buddy. I love it. Love you and God bless you too.
