This is Chris shoes with the Christian perspective podcast with Chris shoes.

We encourage our listeners to engage the culture with Jesus Christ your chosen Truth Network podcast is starting a just a few seconds. So enjoy it.

Sure, but most of all, thank you for listening to The Truth Podcast Network.

This is the Truth Network and radio show. Mother crayon were getting our cry on today on the Christian Car Guy show with my good friend Bob Robbie. It's very good to have you here, you came in there at the end that we can. So yes should always get your cry on when was the last time so hard but it's good when was last time you had a really good cry.

I mean with all your heart, but that kinda cries so you know you had 96 tears from the mysterious you find that song Bob will absolutely mark in the mysterious incident might've been what was cool about that song for me as it was the only song I knew how to play on the organ. My sister played the organ and she taught me how to play so I can still play to this day arose off-line but anyway and then we heard Faith Hill with her cries, so we don't want you to cry. The last segment of Christian Car Guy. Today we have the most progress finally returns we've had struggles Bob with we had snow that didn't allow us to come in and in and do our show two weeks ago maybe three weeks here I forget I was talking together. Then I got covered and so thank goodness Bill came in and filled in for me last week and so I've been anxious to get this episode out but I haven't been able to do the fact that we had other plans and then if you happen to be familiar with Winston-Salem North Carolina. Maybe you heard we had a fire right in your familiar with firelight Bob will absolutely morph with it. Then I wished I was so Weaver fertilizer just happens to be probably less than a thousand yards from us and so we were evacuated Monday night.

They evacuated the area. Even the fire people had to leave because we had 600 tone times 600 tons of them is an ammonium nitrate whatever nitrate yes and from what I understand I mean like it was, it could've been unbelievable so she looked at the pictures of what happened in Texas with 250 tons of ammonium nitrate and if you looked across the railroad tracks from that. Lots of weird looking because it just leveled everything that was in the distance that we are from them. So we were thinking man you know.

Not only were glad that nobody is in the area, but we thought there was a possibility we could lose the headquarters for truth broadcasting this week but nonetheless, in spite of all that were here with you and will get micron on bottom a man wonder Robbie went back well if you go to Christian Car Guy.com.

You may note that I have a picture of a little child that is just absolutely you saw the picture I Bob it's a good one of such a little child crying. I hadn't seen that patriot this morning. I'm a show to you at the break.

So anyway, if you look@thatpicturechristiancargo.com and you see this child that they look like there may be about one and as I was staring at that picture. I wondered if I've lost that ability right because think about what you are located.

Man, you could really cry sometimes. I can cry without tears and the nominee. The difference when I was getting disciplined.

You know, if you didn't you Getting disciplined.

Sometimes I made the mistake of crying during her backswing when he found it and she's like a EE got it a little worse when you did that. So I yeah and this whole idea of of crying so I I think King David gives us a standard to which tort you know trying to stand up to and when you look in the cough section. The Hebrew letter close I guess would be the way you pronounce that you look at the cuff section. The very first verse he says I cried with my whole heart hear me, Lord. So I will keep thy statutes. As you might guess that today's Christian car it was brought to put the heater Hebrew letter cuff is as it has that idea of crying in it and so it's very interesting to me that the Holy Spirit seems to be working on me with this idea of crying this week okay because we went to Birmingham Alabama last weekend to see my daughter in winter Redeemer community church there and the wonderful wonderful pastor there. Joe Brooks did a sermon on Romans chapter 8, which came in very handy for me, but interesting to talk about know in Romans. You might remember before you get to all things work together for good. That's a 20s 28 Wright 826 he talks about the growing of the Holy Spirit and it says exactly. Likewise the Spirit also help of our infirmities. For we know a lot what to pray for we are not, but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Will that were droning and the word private King David used in the hundred 19 Psalm that I just quoted.

They both have a letter in common. When you look at it. In that letter is the letter cuff and it really is also like the root word letter and word of I lost my headphones again like it's the root letter of the word holy does not. And so this idea of this holy cry. I mean something that's way down deep in their and and it's really cool that that cry has a really particular purpose. If you keep reading in Romans is the is the pastor pointed out their five golden verbs in that passage, and so if you go through those you go right that these groanings lead all things work together for good, but for those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed into the image of his son. So you got the he knew you before Bob and then I will argue over predestination, but we conceded that what Paul is saying is we know the destination that was done ahead of time is really be made into the likeness of his son and something to think about what you cry about were crying because we don't measure up. So many times right if you think about some of the biggest cries you've ever had your life. I remember when I was a kid I would cry about my teeth. If you see my teeth.

You can see why I cried about like to write about my hair because it was Carly that I wanted straight hair was all these things that I didn't measure up.

But when you think about where King David, really, really, really tried is where he didn't measure up. From the standpoint of sin because it would would you look at the last verse in in is actually verse 136. He says rivers of water run down my eyes because they keep not by law. So the question is, and we would love for you to call in share with us. When was the last time you had one of those cries were literally rivers of water ran down your eyes and what was it about and what did that feel like 866-34-TRUTH 87884 866-34-TRUTH Ramos, my most recent graph and it wasn't one of the just completely super solvents not settling in. Sometimes I feel like I cry out my nose when I really get wound but it was the January 9 this year and I had that is the day my son passed in 2014 and we lost her hands again and laugh at her again in 2014. He died and on the 9 January I went down, went to cemetery that day and I was already a little down because it was the it was the dead mouse. My son and I got a phone call that morning and I looked at my phone see who was Colin and I might wow that's pretty nice friend of mine's calendar be a part of my day and to remember Rob and he shared with me that he had lost his son. That very same day you just that morning had found out that his son and past and that was just really really really strange and and you know more get raging and and then an hour later we found out my wife's aunt had passed and I finish this story when we get back from the break right so in the meantime, we would love to hear from you calling me to get more 866-348-7884 866-34-TRUTH so much more Christian Car Guy ship, and I think you're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com getting our crying on a guys show and we are wondering about years when was the last time you had a really good cry and and what are some of the benefits of that what is what you think is going on inside.

Well, you're crying with the Holy Spirit and in those kind of thing so we left her hero, Bob. Unfortunately, I mean wow you may know, Bob lost his son on 9 January which obviously 2014.

Yes, well, 9 January was very recently as we have them got to 9 February and then on 9 January of this year. While he thought he had this friend was calling him to console him over the loss of his son a few years ago. Instead, he shares that his son had gone to be the Lord with the Lord on the same day that morning it happened and he called me in and I just know I feel like I'm supposed to be the one that has guidance and everything that I didn't know what to say to them that morning. I was just at a loss for words and and I felt so goofy about that. I had to call him later and gather myself a little bit because it just took my breath it I just couldn't believe it happened then and it just it was just really really really a tough situation and when I think back I was. I went to the cemetery.

After that and and while I was at the cemetery. I had one on a profound cry and in just just really really really emotional about that and is this so many things piling up in one day and you just you want to say the right thing, but I'm not sure there is a right thing to say and I know there's a lot of wrong things to say. I mean so many people there trying to say something encourage in and they say something that he too wrong and they're not trying to hurt your feelings or you know people wanted to ask me my son is passed from an overdose.

And so many people wanted to know about it and wanted information and then I'm feeling like just just let me and I'll just let me dump China investigate right now in the time for that down the right side and it was just really really really test tough thing to deal with absolutely and it was the same thing that cause Jesus to cry right when when you know he cried over Lazarus's loss and you know with being there with the sisters who were experiencing that loss we got.

And speaking of her sister got an alt who is in Charlotte this morning.

Good morning and I will be quick. That document I understand it, and I was done.

When you are talking about this because last night.

It is a combination to me where it just hit. Definition you know like like you guys have been talking about that II my older brother and I talked to you about Robbie and I adore him.

He just is the best date bladder that I've ever had an elegant on it and down that last night when I was at church with my job. I may end about a called and he updated me.

My older brother Marine Saigon where they had agent agent orange even that one of the good guys and FBI.

He just even after he retired as a group at the Academy group. They help companies guide to terrorism in particular and great sense of humor and all that and he he got the Lewy body dementia disease, which is horrible, horrible way to die, and he's been going through all of that. Then his life and she, she, it is very hard on her. Needless to say, and just you know it it went. When I talked to him eat Harlequin think you work together so it very very emotional time. That way, but last night at the church. You know they both have coveted now.

In addition to the body dementia disease and then he's not making fancy thinking that what he hasn't but it's like effecting a Vietnam think it's basically crazy and on the way home last night and can be what you guys are sharing right now just confirm to me how infested amazing way because I was even analyzing as I was dreaming in the car on the way home. Didn't even care that windows were and I don't do it when when I was traveling and later that I went that many people around on the freeway and everything but I just literally was. I've never cried like that where I was crying literally like a baby and I even analyze. I thought you know what kind of hanging way back to court last like it. I was just I was letting it all go. I just at the top of my line, but it was such a great catharsis in a weird way, you know, and it was just how many holy pop help me holy pop do you like your crying is way is like we get to purge our emotions with emotions inside this and just waiting on us and they're so heavy and if we can just have that good good good cry and just let Amal I have, it seems like the burden is light and Tran. There's nothing holy about that you said you did notice the common denominator that is there something that's actually been given to us in that we know works together for good, because this is what he is talking about in Romans 820 but somehow another it in spite of the fact that all this is not the way that it should be.

But as as result of our deep, deep feeling.

If there something holy. It's just it's just a healing for me. It just when I can't carry it out, it's time to get rid of some of it how well we got all sorts of folks lined up and thank you so much God bless and take you to pray for your father and for you as you go through this we have Angela and Nancy and another color so we got all sorts of folks lined up. Please stay tuned and be sure to call us with yours 866-34-TRUTH 87884. You're listening to the truth and TruthNetwork.com are on our guys show in a weird thing about something holy. That letter is is you going to the cliff. Section 119 Psalm you see the King David did a lot of that and he did it throughout the Psalms and and and it's amazing as we are experiencing it like how did we cry when we were a child and can we get back to that we have Angela.

She's North Carolina Angeli run a Christian Car Guy show good morning God is with getting back Robbie have you got your nylon party okay we got it we got it. Sometimes if we pot reduction okay okay that's good micron and 49 before that my mom passed away December 28.

And I've also shared that she and I didn't have the very best of life. I she was a nursing care facility, and she didn't want to be there and she invited me know me mostly and so December 4 I had visited with. I spent the day with about 3 o'clock.

I told her I needed currently will not take me.

She came he and she said a slot think we need to stay a little longer. I don't know. She said that I did not. But I wound up staying two hours longer and then I my mom just was getting more and more of it and I think Judy have to delete because I was learning how to walk away, but she was getting upset like that and so I told her mom I love you but I have to leave now and I'll see you in the morning and she got very angry and the words she spoke to me really really hurt, but I hate the lady I knew. I hate 730 that night I got a call from the facility say she had passed away and that's Windows boards really hurt and I tried to deal with them and the months when I'll and in July 2019. There was a local ministry. Great sponsored pre-Christian movies at the local theater and I was invited by some friends to go with them and maybe was called the Christ: that is, that they had a stake movie on the unforgiveness and it I would recommend it. I think you can find it on YouTube if you have it stated that it was a tremendous movie and his ministry had people at the front. After the movie that would privately you if you won't while I went down for prayer and I said I won't forgive my mom and all, never underestimate the power of prayer.

Hug and tear all my goodness, yes, yes I hate to rush in and said I got two more that I got a get in a short time, something I can. That's a hard insult cry right there on my goodness, I'm sad to say, I just wanted to say real quick that I was able to forgive my mom how she was able to forget date. Thanks a lot, Rod. Thank you God bless you and you we have an anonymous caller in North Carolina so anonymous you're on the air morning, good morning. Thank you for calling they're doing well. I enjoy your show every Saturday all thanks all five years ago dictated the article get teary-eyed about my older brother was 10 years older than me, Steve, he had out Lewy body dementia as well and I know that all I knew is that on Christmas and then several months later he had to Speak out and yeah is no longer in pain. He was a Christian definitely be gone. He was the pastor wrote several books and so yeah but I just can't thinking out because what people say. I do believe that my brother is in heaven right now. So how did the need to take us back to those moments and in deep tears, so to speak. What you really feel your heart that that's Sheila holy to get some some cleansing mirror what that feeling not regularly to my knees.

I got a phone call not know that I let that get you anyway. But really, not me to my knees and I just got I felt I had lost everything. At that point that I felt that way because we were so close and sorry that in that respect in a good way. Romans 828 I harder closer to the Lord. Get out.

I just I didn't have any other option. So and back then I wasn't I was a believer, but I was in the strongest labors. I am now but he's given me here even though it may be for a lot of that he's given me the Lord is giving me joy is because this week I was feeling like I will and close to the Lord called her dear friend Amanda sitting across from me just to share in the cows when I don't have tragedy going on when I don't have something really big in it where were God's I'll have you know sometimes we don't realize that God's only needed until Godzilla got and did my big tragedies in on feel so close, but I was feeling, distant, because right at this moment I didn't have a big tragedy or a big mountain to climb or something to conquer where I knew I had to depend on him and it just is just amazing how how he can get us through the big stuff.

But I do find myself when there's not tragedy or something like that being I don't feel as close and and a dear friend of mine who sit right across from the help me get through that this week point. Wow I am so grateful for your call. I got so many others want to try to get to.

If that's okay. But God bless you and I'm so grateful for your sharing that. Thank you got me unseasonal mom a long time. Nancy, we don't have a lot of time but can you share force. Yes, like Hammurabi, we pray for you when you had don't think you better, but I I versed about the Holy Spirit being in you being able to pray for you when you don't have word always high on my list of what verses I go back to and parted. You know when I cry because I really have passion for my prayer and resting not always require you know I cried the Lord with joy.

I know I'm crazy but you know a lot of people different ways of praising the Lord. And when people say tears of joy. I When I go to heaven you falling on my knee cry with all I thank you Nancy.

I hate going to the same for all these wonderful caller says called in from work. Washington, as did Nancy, I'm so sorry we didn't get your calls but will do it next week, so stay tuned for your listening to the truth and TruthNetwork.com time I theater today's episode progress 24 now look on the side of sausage in whose name was out of talkative driving a short distance beside this place.
