This is the Truth Network. This is the Truth Network. Prize up, prize up, bo-card of the angel armies. Come and confound the enemy. Welcome to the Christian Car Guy Radio Show.

this calls for action and now. We still know that He is God. Be still. that he This way for Consider All that he has done, stand in all and be amazed, and know that he will never change. Be still.

Hold your peace today on the Christian Car Guy Show and I gotta tell you that right this very second I need to hold my peace because Um The We've been lately in the last few weeks we've been doing a section with my 88-year-old friend called uh the legendary garage of RK, where he you know, shares his wisdom from all these years in the car business.

Well, he he had surgery on Thursday, and I went to see him yesterday and assumed, and he wanted to do the show from the hospital. It was all excited, and this morning. Uh unfortunately, um really unfortunately He called in tears that he were they were rushing him into surgery. His blood pressure had fallen out. He had internal bleeding.

And literally, as I am speaking to you, um He's in surgery with them trying to save his life. And so, with that being said, I think no better time to pray than the present and the opportunity to pray with you, the audience here that has been so loyal to the Christian Car Guy. I said, Lord, I thank you so much for Richard's life. I thank you for. Them discerning what's going on with his blood pressure dropping out.

And Lord, I pray that you would guide these surgeons and guide the nurses and help everybody involved to save his precious life. Lord, I pray for his family as I know they're deeply concerned and his friends. Lord, again, we thank you for his life and what he's doing. And I pray that you'd restore him to us. And we just trust you as this battle is raging.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

So fascinatingly, I'm very blessed to have with me today my Christian Body Shop guy, Jerry Mathis, with Ray's Body Shop and Wrecker Service.

So welcome, Jerry. Good to be here. You know what? Then it just, I mean, it speaks volumes as you said that and as you're praying, just how. You know, when we think we have everything figured out and and exactly how things are going to go, when when life comes at us, I mean, man, being able to know that we lean into our Lord and Savior.

It is. It is. And You know, I can't help but see how this has to do with the lesson plan. He's really had me on all week. Um Thursday morning, I recorded an episode of Encouraging Prayer, which you're going to hear later today, by the way.

This is kind of a spoiler alert for 11. Um I think about 11.50 that show comes on. And uh James had been really convicted over lingering with God in prayer. And He he'd gotten this um devotion from a friend that that was a love letter from God, like You know, you If you would give me more time, you know, you you would be shocked at how much more of life you would have, you know, that and and and just talking about How you never Spend any time with me that you don't have something that you want to talk to me about rather than just. being in my presence kind of thing.

and being still, right? And knowing he's God. And just... that. And so I decided like I had to do I didn't know I got to do Truth Talk Live that day at four o'clock, which is a live call in show, which is, you know, just a joy.

And I thought, what a neat topic. I said, what is the what is your go to scripture? In order to linger with God? Like, what's your go-to scripture that helps you to get to that place where you don't have an agenda, right? And and and a wonderful lady out of Dayton, Ohio called And said her go-to scripture was Exodus fourteen, fourteen, which.

I just Went blank. Like, what in the world is Exodus 14, 14? And what would that have to do with lingering with God? And then when she.

Well read it to me and I understood the context of it, then it became even more shocking and then God had to teach me some stuff.

So Exodus 14, 14 it says the Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your peace.

Now the context of that is the The Egyptians, the Pharaoh was bearing down on them. They were backs against the Red Sea. They were trapped. And, you know, this, it's a, that's a difficult place, right, to hold your peace. And all of a sudden, You know, just know.

He he's got this. He's got this, right? You know, I would. And as you heard in Michael W. Smith's rendition of Be Still, right?

I don't know if you ever looked at that in context because. But in context of the 46th Psalm, it says, He makes wars to cease unto the end of the earth. He breaketh the bow and cutteth the spear asunder. He burneth the chariot in the fire. And then he said, Then the psalmist said, in other words, he was almost thinking about, obviously, it appeared to me, he was thinking about Exodus 14:14 when he said, Be still.

and know that I'm gone. You know, Rob, when you sit there and you say that and and we think about our lives today. Living just living our life and stuff. I mean Really, how do we ever h how do we really face Those hardships, those troubles, those questions that come flying at us. How do we keep from being the one who.

Wants to hide under a rock or stick our head in the sand or whatever it may be, it's what we know, and it's that relationship with Christ. And the only way that that gets You know, the bigger the problem, the more we need to be in tune with what Christ is doing in our life and the promises that He has. Because. If we, I always say this often, especially as being part of a church at Pinedale and stuff, and the people that I talk to. Those that don't have a relationship with Christ and when the small things come They rocked, they rattled.

Just imagine, I just think, you know, and then the big ones come is obviously. I mean, in there, really, the world is just crushed because there's no hope beyond that. Right. Right. So.

You know, you're listening and and and maybe you recall a time when it seemed like Of all the times that you would be able to linger with God and He would. I you know, just give you this peace that transcends all understanding.

Well uh in the middle of uh just uh absolute battle. I would love to hear that. I I I need it actually. I'm sure a lot of people need it right this minute.

So you can call us and share that. It's a live show. We would love for you to do that. 866 is the phone number to call. 866-348-7884.

866-348. 7884. We here at the Christian Car Guy Show have the Jesus Labor Love. And Jesus Labor Love is car repair labor for single moms, widows. and families in crisis.

And I can't help but think as I was You know, just reflecting on three or four phone calls I was involved in this week. Of people that, believe me, the Red Sea was on their back. And because you know, for them, they don't get to work if their car doesn't work, right? Or they can't take their kids to the hospital or whatever their situation may be. This one family, they just simply lost their keys and they needed one hundred and fifty dollars.

You know, to get a locksmith out there. Otherwise, they're going to lose their job and all, you know, all this. And I still can't believe that God Right in the midst of all this Terror. from them from their standpoint. Right.

He says, oh, by the way, here, call these guys, right? And actually, it was a caseworker from a social service that they didn't have a resource to help them, but they said, we know some people that probably can. And they reached out to us. Right? Yeah.

And then we had a chance to pray with them. Right, the very first thing we always do, right? And what's the most important thing? I mean, really, when it all boils down to the power in that. Right, 'cause we you know, God When he commissioned us for this ministry, it was first and foremost: this is not coming from the Christian car guy.

This isn't coming from truth broadcasting. This isn't coming from anything other than Jesus, right? This is God to the rescue. Don't think that it isn't him that's fighting for you because that's the whole idea of what happened for the Egyptians that day. is it was pretty clear as the sea parted that this that God did in fact fight for them.

and and mark this down, that he will fight for you because of what that said in that in the i that lingering idea. He loves us beyond anything we could possibly imagine. He is dying to sit down and just love on us. And if that means he's got to fight all of Pharaoh's army for a minute. You know, because when you think about it from God's perspective, what was Pharaoh's army?

I mean, an aunt like nothing. Let me squish these guys a minute, and then we'll get back to us trying to have a relationship. Or in the case, you know. of them needing that key right that minute. That was controlling their whole world.

Yeah, and you know the the powerful thing about it, about Jesus' labor of love is What did they see? They saw Christ through that ministry. And what did it tell them? You know what? God is faithful.

Yeah, he is. Yeah, he is. So, what's. When does this happen for you? I would love to hear your story.

Really, really, really, really. I know. A lot of people. 866348788486634 TRUTH. We'll be right back.

You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Yeah. Surprise a prime The Pokemon of the angel armies come and confound the enemy. Consider all that he has done. Stand in all and be amazed.

And know that he will never change. Be still. Hold your peace today on the Christian Car Guy Show. And as requested, I'm so excited. We've got callers with stories to share.

And so we've got, first off, we got Ed is in Ohio. And so, Ed, you are on the Christian Car Guy Show. Good morning. Yes, good morning. How are you doing?

I am excited to hear your story, Ed. What you got for us?

Well, in 1978, I was working at a gas station different than me as Jesus bumper sticker. I was pumping gas. I went to school for auto mechanics. And I asked the guy, what does that mean? And I went over to his house the following night, my wife and I, and I.

Learned about the Lord, and then when He came to save us sinners from our sins, and I accepted Jesus as my Savior. And then God took me right to that job. I left the gas station and started to uh And God set me up with the perfect job to start learning about it. I might put on the Christian radio station, start delivering auto parts, and not working at the gas station anymore. And uh the guy that were the Yeah.

Had the bumper sticker. He worked inside at the Odiport store, and right next to him was Pastor Tommy Thompson. Wow. I was more of a Baptist.

So, anyway, I.

So I started getting fed God's word and God set me up and started getting no longer the milk, started getting the meat of the word and learning all about the Lord. Here's the story I'm calling you up about. God now, over since 1978, God has ways of showing me things in threes. He just doesn't do it once. He does it threes because he is the Father, the Son, the Spirit.

That's right. He rose on the third day. The last three words out of his mouth is: it is finished. He uses a lot of three things in Scripture. But what he did for me is.

My friend plays in a band, Christian band, called Frank Rock's Jesus. You can pull him up and watch one YouTube. And I, um,. And I was wa I was down the phone off the internet neighborhood and he's at we're out on the corner of in the sph Philadelphia. And he's singing songs that he wrote for the Lord.

And six hours later, I fly following down the Board beautiful Boardwalk Bible Chapel. It's an old movie theater back in the 60s, and the church bought it and made it a Board Wildwood Boardwalk Bible Chapel in New Jersey, Wildwood, New Jersey. And some some reason I went up and I told the guy to introduce my friend to he's on my friend's on stage and singing songs that he wrote in I went up and said this verse to the guy up in on stage. I mean, they introduced my friend. He's sitting at the entranceway inviting people in to listen to my friend play walking along the boardwalk on a beautiful sunny, sunny day in July.

And I go up to him and I tell him. Matthew twenty six thirty four. Where God says specifically telling his father, do not not to worry about food, drink or clothing, reminding them that God feeds the birds and clothes the lilies and that they are far more valuable for him to him, urging them to seek first God's kingdom. And my favorite verse is seek ye first the kingdom of God. But what's so unique about me telling them, Why do you worry about what you eat or king?

God takes care of the birds, how much more valuable are we to God than the birds?

Soon as I got done saying that verse, to the guy they introduced by by our friend and his band to the audience. My friend said And we're not even close friends. We're I just know and met him through the such music. My f the guy, my friend Frank, Said the same identical words that I said to the guy that entered just. My friend, the same words to the audience.

Then I go home, and my wife's got the TV on, and I have to get up. I got it, went up to use the restroom, and my wife. In sleep, and whatever she had on the TV was noisy.

So I put on Reflections, the beautiful Daystar channel. It's quiet music, beautiful scenery and a Bible verse that stays on for like a minute. And there, as I'm going back to my bed, God says, Look at the verse: Why do you worry about what you eat or what you drink? Don't I take care of the birds, clothes? How much more important are you to God than the birds?

Then two days after that, this is the third time out, I opened up the daily bread. Everybody you know, everybody knows what the daily bread is. There's a Bible verse, and there it is again. Why do you worry about me when you drink?

So I mean, that's just one time. It happened during the COVID, Psalm ninety one, verses ten and eleven, for I will protect you from the Plagues, COVID, I will surround you with angels and protect you from this stuff that's going on. And then God showed that to me three times, too. An old fellow told me about that Psalm, and then I went down, moved down to Florida, and I couldn't park out back. Of a place where I share about the grace of God, the people, to help them.

And there's a bumper sticker the same way, 40-some years later, if I've seen this different to me as Jesus bumper, there it is again. Psalm 91 on a bumper sticker in front of a car where I share. And then a couple, shortly afterwards, the girl came in with the sweatshirt, Psalm 91.

So God always shows me things we freeze. Amazing stuff. I mean, I'm so blessed that my faith, and I share this with people to build up their faith or that God, let people know that God is so real, he's so powerful. And to pinpoint just me out of billions or millions of people in the world and to show me things like that. And he did it at church one time.

My cup runneth over sermon. I go out to my car after hearing my cup runneth over sermon. Andrew Rip has the song on. As soon as I turn on the radio, about a minute into the song or less than whatever it is, the amount of time. I put on the Joy FM radio station down in Florida where I was living.

And here comes, I heard my sermon, my cup runneth over. I put on the radio, my cup runneth over. Give me love, give me joy, give me peace. There's a three word, three words again, three that come out of the radio after I heard the sermon immediately around the radio.

So that's awesome, man. There's no coincidence with God. No, there can't be. There can't be. That's wonderful.

Thank you so much. That is a wonderful testimony. God bless you. I'm shortening up for your audience, and I know you've got a lot of people calling in, but I enjoy your show. I just.

Put it on. I was listening to you share about what you were sharing, and you still know that I'm God. I love that. I have that on a poster at home. One of my favorite verses.

Well, God bless you, my friend. You have an amazing Saturday. We will talk to you soon. And what was your name again? My name is Robbie Dilmore.

Robbie. Dilmore, D-I-L-M-O-R-E, and we got Jerry Mathis with us.

So thank you, Ed. And what's your station? Because I don't have a chance to really. It's a truth radio network. The Truth Radio Network.

Okay.

Well, thank you, sir, and enjoy to have a blessed day. The rest of you people. You too. God bless. I love your program.

I was praying for you when you were praying for your friend 88 years old. I'm right behind him. I'm 71. I understand. Thanks, Ed.

God bless. Bye-bye. We got Ruth is on in Richmond, Virginia. Ruth, you're on a Christian Carguy Show. Good morning.

Hi, Robbie. How are you doing? I am doing wonderful. What have you got for me?

Well, that guy, I tell you, he just got vaccinated with a Victor Collins needle. My husband used to tell that joke.

Well, actually, I was lying on the bed. I have a hard time. Oh, Ruth, I hate that we're coming to a break, which we're going to get to in just a second. But we will come right back to you.

So you hang on for us. And if you've got a testimony, we would love to hear you out there at 866-348-7884. We'll be right back. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Uh Surprise a prize.

Uh ho. God of the angel armies, come and confound the enemy. Consider all that he has done. All and be amazed, and know that he will never change. Be still.

Hold your peace today on the Christian Car Guy Show and You know, it's an amazing idea. As Jerry and I were during the break talking about if there was ever a case where somebody held their peace. Like Jesus is on the cross. He is able, he's completely surrounded, if anybody ever was. completely able, had the power, the means, to stop it, but he held his peace.

Why?

So that you would be able to face the things we're talking about on today's show. It's so amazing. Absolutely amazing. We got Ruth still in Richmond. Truth.

Hi.

Well, you're so right. He can do exceedingly and abundantly more than we think or ask. He is able, and that man was saying, He's 71.

Well, I'm 81. I'm close, I'm getting close to 82. And Thank the Lord that He found me when I was eight years old. And so His Holy Spirit. has kept me and the Word of God is all the power that we have.

I do ask him every day how much longer before he comes. I'm Kevin's mama, you know, and Kevin has had diabetes since he was two years old. And he's been on insulin, he's on an insulin pump and so forth. And so I'm up, just like I was when I was 20-some years old. early in the morning preparing dinner and lunch and everything for him when he goes to work.

He's already at work at eight eight o'clock in the morning. And I thank Robbie Dilmore. I thank you, Robbie, for putting him on that first Saturday. that he was on there. He was sitting in the car at the dealership.

And this time he did take last time he took off. But uh a lot of things that man was saying did it reminded me of so many things. My daddy had a service station downtown. And uh my daddy lived to be ninety five years old, but I hope that I go home before that. And but it's all in his hands, not mine.

But I g I get pretty weak after a while, so I have to lay on the bed and actually I was going to call a friend in Massachusetts that she's from Barbados and she's a wonderful Christian. She's 91. And she went to the Holy Land like you did when she was 90 years old. But anyway, um I laid on the bed. And so when I started hearing about that man, that you the mechanic eighty eight years old I told Kevin, I said, he had a mechanic on there that was 88 years old, because that's what my daddy did and all.

And I said, my goodness, he's still going strong. I think we never know. And we have to put it all in God's hands. We never know when we'll go.

So we have to be ready, as the Reverend Billy Graham said, Because this could be our day. Oh, yeah. It could be. And you know, we don't need to be morbid about it, we just need to know. that is going to be more beautiful and more everything.

Oh, it's gonna be you're right, you're right. He's got And that's just the point of lingering in prayer. realize that that that everything you ever wanted. In love and acceptance and joy and peace, and all that is sitting. Right next to you saying You know, whenever you want to look my way.

Amen.

Yeah. Yeah. I tell him because I before my husband died, my husband's been gone five years now, over five years. He would be 88. In fact, last this mon this week on the 13th, he would have been 88.

And everything I do, because I had some things happen to me before my husband died.

So I had a s well, I had a botch surgery. And, you know, I wore a colostomy bag and all that stuff. And so all that was going on. And they would tell me, well, and then I got hernias from them and so forth. And they would say, I said, well, what's going to happen if I don't have this surgery?

And He said the doctor said, you'll die. I said, well, I can't help it. It's in God's hands. I've got to take care of my husband. And I did.

And that was during COVID. And you know, every time I'd go to the emergency room, Have you been out of the country, all that was going on? But You know, the Lord blessed me that he came back here right before he died, and I saw his last breath, and we knew where he was going. He talked about it. He said, I'm getting ready to go to heaven, honey.

And he told me that about a week before he died. And we prayed and everything and it just God was with us, you know. But anyway, uh Oh that's the deal. I mean that is completely He he is f Fighting in ways that we have no idea, that he will bless us in ways that we have no idea. You know, and the angels, I I I tell you, I had this pastor.

And I don't mind saying his name. His pastor is Dr. Rodin. He's 83 years old. And he is a wonderful Christian.

And he's always talked so much about the angels. But I have learned so much about the angels. They are around us always doing things, fighting for us and everything. And they're strong, and they're God's angels. And that's what's going to take us to heaven when we go.

Because, you know, Jesus is real. I tell people, this is not a fairy tale. You know, I have a child that tells me this is a fairy tale. And I say, no, no, no, this is not a fairy tale. Jesus has his angels that will come and transport us there.

And then we'll go to Jerusalem. We'll be there. And that's where we will be living there.

So they're fighting for us all the time. The word of God is true, everything. You're absolutely right, Ruth.

Well, thank you. Thank you for your call. It's amazing. What God's doing. I'm going to pray for that man.

He sounds so sweet. I hope he gets through it well. Me too. Thank you. Thank you, Ruby.

Thank you, Robbie, for all you've done. God bless you. Bye-bye. God bless you. Bye-bye.

Yeah, it was har I I I've never heard Richard cry. Um But his last words to me is that, you know, I live literally like man. And it just tugged at my heartstrings as I knew. That Um You know, he he was sensing A lot was at stake there. Very grateful for everyone's prayers and for their concern.

But as we're. You know, talking about the Jesus Labor Love Jury. I would be very remiss if I didn't tell you that this particular January, and the Jesus Labor Love, if you're not familiar with it, it's a ministry within the Christian Car Guy Show. We help single moms, widows, families in crisis. With car repair labor And things like that.

And occasionally, people are even generous to donate cars, which is absolutely wonderful. But right at this minute, in January, it's been our busiest month, according to Scott, that he's ever experienced. Which puts a real strain, honestly, on our f financial situation. Is it it it A lot of people get in a way. In January, you know Power bills get high, you're coming off Christmas.

Well, whatever has happened. The cars don't like it when it's bitter cold, okay? They just don't. Believe me, I see it every day, and it's things that just pop up that's unexpected. Nobody really nobody plans on being carless or or their car broke down or not having keys.

Right. But you know, it's crazy, but for whatever reason, batteries are they hate the cold weather. They just absolutely and that'll be the morning your battery dies. And then all of a sudden there's $110, $20 or today in some cases, $300. Or a lot of people don't realize cars overheat worse when it's cold.

Than when it's hot. They're designed to, you know, for evaporation to make them cool off.

Well, it doesn't evaporate so much when it's 16 degrees. And so, cars that have weak head gaskets, things like that, it's a tough time. And so, if God puts it on your heart, it's pretty easy. Go to ChristianCarGuy.com and you can see a big donate button right there. And, like I say, if it's something, believe me, there's nobody going to get, number one, every dollar that goes into the Jesus Labor Love there.

We have no administrative expenses.

So, if you donate $50, $100, whatever you donate, I can assure you, it's all every penny going to go to.

Some Single mom, widow, or family is in crisis. I can assure you it will. And of course, it's tax-deductible these days. This year, that's going to be helpful again. And Um Well, Robbie, before we, just because I think that part is important.

The part, yeah, every penny somebody gives, every dollar, every. Whatever it may be, whatever the Lord lays on your heart to give, goes 100% into the ministry to help somebody and to meet a need. It's not no, we have, there's, Robbie doesn't have any full-time staff that's right that. that is paid, so to speak, above You know, and everything that comes in. Is going.

We have no advertising because we have a radio show to make sure that people know about it. We, you know, there's just no. regular our accountant Volunteers, you know, her services, and so, and all the people that volunteer the car repair or whatever, you know, all that is. Close in because I want to just say this. The people don't, nobody really realizes how much the society we live in needs an automobile.

And a lot of these women, this is their only way to get to work, get their kids to the doctor. Right now, if you're planning on getting in your car, just put your key on the table somewhere and just stand there and pretend I no longer have transportation today. What that does. You're listening to The Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Uh Prize a prize.

The poke God of the angel armies come and confound the enemy. Consider all that he has done, standing. All and be amazed, and know that he will never change. Be still. Yes, it's an amazing thing to hold your peace, especially.

It's a thing that Wow, is this a time to linger in prayer when, man, it seems like I'm completely surrounded. Things are just unbelievably horrible right the second there's a battle going on for. This relationship with my child, or this battle with a nephew, or my brother, or whatever it is that seems like it's just. And it's on your heart. And realized that God's sitting there saying I am fighting for you.

I mean, if you read Exodus 14:40, it says, you know, the Lord shall fight for you. It isn't he might, or he's thinking about it. Yeah. Mm-hmm.

Okay.

Pretty plain editor. It's pretty plain, straightforward. In other words, he loves us more than we could possibly ever, ever, ever, in our wildest dreams, imagine.

So he is going to fight. And that word fight is a really, really strong Hebrew word, but fascinatingly, it is the same word that you. uh would know in Bethlehem is the the second part of house of bread, it could be the house of fighting because to some extent one of the major reasons for war is a lack of food. And so God is not going to let you go hungry. And so, as you have an opportunity to pray about these kinds of things, and Jerry was telling you that Jesus' labor love is one of those opportunities that God.

May put on your heart. To be his hands and feet in somebody else's situation where he is fighting for them. Right. And he's fighting for them with the provision he provided you so you can have the joy in taking part in that. and uh hearing the people call in, you know, when Scott comes on every week.

And then You know, I spend a lot of time, there's a lot of letters. in that hold your peace. It's actually one word in Hebrew. And you know me, I love to really think about these things. Mm-hmm.

As I looked at all the letters that were involved and thought about what he was saying, you will not find the word peace spelled this way anywhere else in the Bible. In fact, the way you would normally hear peace in Hebrew is shalom, this word isn't that at all. It's a different kind of peace. And it's a peace that comes from your unity with God. Shalom has to do with the completeness.

This is a piece that, like, Okay. If you could imagine, you're married to the most amazing person ever and they are just, they've got all the resources necessary, and they love you beyond your wildest dreams. And there's a peace that would come to know that you are so totally loved, you're so totally adored, and there is nothing. That could possibly harm you, that they're going to allow to come into your life.

However, because they totally love you, they also want those rough edges knocked off so that you can enjoy all that you can be. And so God allows things in our lives. In that we may grow. But at the end of the day, if there was something out there that really was going to harm you, I'm going to assure you, this kind of holds your peace. is beyond your wildest dreams.

And this was the peace that Jesus was holding on the cross. Because he had spent all that time with the father. And if you spend a little time in John 14, which is a comfort chapter, it says, you know, in my father's house are many mansions, but look through. All of that. John 14 and see how many times Jesus talks about his father.

And when you see me, you've seen the Father. We're one. Right? He's telling Thomas all that, right? And that, and that's the reason he comes up and says, you know, I am the way, the truth, and the life.

Nobody comes to the who? The Father except through me. He's telling us he. is not the destination, he is the way. But when you are with him, you're with the father.

It's kind of a fascinating thing. But then in verse 18, there's another little precious verse there. This says, I will not leave you. is orphans. In other words, not only is he going to.

Love on us in all these different ways, but he is going to provide you with a father where you'll be adopted as a son that you can call on Abba Father. That's a big part of the relationship, as our friend at the beginning Ed talked about that there's a Trinity involved, it's a spirit to show us. Jesus. Showing us the way to the Father. And the point of this in so many different ways, of this particular holding your peace.

If we could even begin to grasp As we linger in prayer, How much he adores us I mean, literally, he did die for us, but I don't think we can really even grasp that. But I mean, he so totally adores us. He he he is totally going to fight for you, Jerry. Yeah, I mean And I love that part where you just talk about just the lingering part because that, you know, and me and Robbie were talking before when on air. To me, that was God says, you know what, just pull up a chair.

Let's just. Let's just sit around. Let's just talk. Let's share. Let's just.

You tell me your heart and. through Scripture, I'm going to tell you my heart. And when we do that, Then all the chaos of the world becomes a little clearer. And not as, you know what, some of the chaos doesn't seem as important as it does when we're out of relationship with Christ. Because when we're out of relationship with Christ, the little things are huge.

We can't understand what's going on in our life. What's going on in the world? What's going on in our country? I mean, it doesn't, none of it makes sense. But we know that God has us in His own walk.

this journey with us. That lingering, I mean, to me, that's just so powerful because how do you. When I have friends, I just love to just sit around table and we just talk. When I'm at church, just my wife, Myra, she will say I linger way too much. But that's the same thing God wants with us.

That's the same thing Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, wants to do, just be in our presence. Right, right.

Well, you think about how, you know, you don't want to leave that dear friend. You hadn't seen him in whatever time.

Well, that's that you know, that's how he feels. And, you know, I I I can't help but think that You know, Richard had a chance to do this show with us twice so far, and I hope many more times to come. But as a result, you many have heard his voice, and you're thinking about this right now. And, you know, what an opportunity that we have to continue to pray for Richard, lift him up as he. goes through this But I know.

I know. Man, God is fighting for Richard. He loves that man. And And I can r I I can literally hold my peace. Because I know he's loved and I know that God's going to do everything that he possibly can do.

I get to take part in that, and so do all of you, because now we all have a little taste of it. And we get to add him to The equation, just like those of you who feel like adding the Jesus labor load to the equation of how you know God's working through all of us, because you know that's the neat part of having life and having life abundantly is being. you know, his hands and feet to people that need whatever it is they need. God is good. And when we lose sight of that, I mean, we lose sight of who God would have us be.

And Just real quick, one thing about our relationship with Christ and stuff I think is so important is. that when we When we're not in community with him, we're not listening to, how does God speak to us? One Most of the time, prayer we're speaking to God. But really, when God speaks to me, it's through reading Scripture, being in His Word and stuff.

So if I take time to just linger and pull up the chair and just be with God, I'm going to pray and I'm going to read a little bit and let God continue to speak to me, and I can speak to Him. then life becomes a little less muddy. It doesn't mean that the hardships aren't there and the struggles aren't there and the obstacles in the hills and the peaks and the valleys aren't there. But I know that I'll do it with the Creator of it all, our Lord and Savior. He sure will.

Yeah, and You will too. As we're so grateful for everybody listening today, everybody's prayers today. And again, if you put something on your heart to pray for the Jesus Labor Love, what a wonderful thing, that God will continue to use that to be his hands and feet. Jesus walked everywhere he went, got it all done in 33 years. StreetNetwork.com. A big question that even a caveman should be able to answer, much less the Supreme Court of the United States. This is True Commentary with Stu Efferson, author and host of Truth Talk Live. And here's the question: you ready?

What is a woman? That's right, the highest court in the land better get this right. It's like that old commercial. It makes me think of the caveman. It says, even a caveman can figure this out.

Well, even the Supreme Court should be able to figure out that God made men and women different, and that men should not be in women's locker rooms, much less competing and besting women in their sports. This is exploiting women in our culture, not protecting them. Where's the outcry? Women are never trying to get men's sports. You don't see any women going out for the NBA.

Let's pray the Supreme Court wakes up and sees the truth on this. Let's pray our culture will go back to protecting women and not exploiting them. Let's get this question right. Join Stu on radio, social media, and his daily Truth Talk Live podcast. Learn more at truthnetwork.com.
