And the first pitch to Alice Cole swung out and hit deep to left, down the line toward the corner, way back, going. I like to play my castanets. I hope. Welcome to the Christian Car Guy Radio Show. I say this calls for action and now.
It's so sweet to trust in. Jesus and to take him high his word just to rest upon his promise and to the atonement That was the Yom Kippur. It happened on Wednesday of this year. Very cool. But the name of today's Christian Cargai show: The Atonement: Learning to Play the Castanets.
Yeah. And take him at his word. And I've got my good friend Bill. My Christian insurance guy with me today, and retired Christian insurance guy, but he's still my Christian insurance guy.
So definite wisdom to share with us. But anyway.
So you you heard at the beginning of that sound bite is my I I love to make things cryptic, but The first thing that that that's cryptic in there is It's the pitch. Right. You heard the baseball. And all of a sudden he the guy was hitting it out of the park.
So I don't know if you've ever Seen this connection, but it's absolutely spectacular and so important in what we're going to talk about today. And I hope you'll just stay with me and make no agreement that you're not going to understand me because I'm telling you, you will follow this, okay?
So When now a was told to build an ark. Maybe we should go a little bit further back. When Noah was born. I think his father's name was Elamech. He named him Noah because he would comfort his people.
And so when you hear the word Noah, If you just listen to the sound of it, it's very, very important that you just hear two letters that are in English. You hear a N sound, which is the N in Noah, and you hear an H sound, which is the N of Noah, if you were to spell it, right? That H sound. And so that. Combination of letters in Hebrew has to do with comfort.
And it's going to be repeated actually by Isaiah when it says, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people. And Noah comforted his people. But I want you to just hold on to the thought that that's Noah's name means comfort. And interestingly, he was told to build an ark, which would be made out of wood. And then you know what he was supposed to do with that wood?
After he made the whole ark, what was he supposed to cover it in Bill? Pitch.
Okay, I could see it. It kind of got him for a second. But he was to cover that arc and pitch, or some people say bit human or tar, whatever you want to call it. He was to cover it in that. And that word.
That And for Tar. It's or bit human, whatever you want to call it, that he covered the ark with. Is the word Kofer in Hebrew.
Okay, so listen to the sound of that for a second and think about a C sound and a P-H-E-R, right?
Now, you've heard these two words put together before if you're. a Christian and you follow Jesus somewhat, you realize that most of where he hung out in the New Testament, was in the town of Cofernum Okay, think of the word letters in there.
Okay, cofer. Meaning? The cover that was on the ark, which by the way, the word means atonement.
Okay.
So Atonement is a cover. You're you're gonna find that the cover on The mercy seat is also Co-fer. And again, do you think it's in any way, shape, or form an accident? That Jesus operated out of a town. that had to do with the name of the pitch that was in Noah's ark and Noah's name himself.
Caparnum. Here here the N and the H? It's in there, like Prego's spaghetti sauce. I'm telling you, it's in there, okay? And so.
The idea of Noah's Ark And it was covered in pitch. Is fascinating that that word would be atonement, isn't it? And that cover. is going to do with how all of the nations would be saved. Are you following me thus far, Bill?
I thought he liked fish, and that's the thing. We're going to get there, but first, we've got to get the pitch, okay?
So, the first pitch I'm giving you, like any good car salesman, I'm going to pitch. Pitch the pitch.
Okay? And since Wednesday was the Day of Atonement. Then this idea of Kofir is gigantic because it's all very much in the story because the story that we're going to talk about took place right outside of Capernaum. Right?
Okay.
So the next word that we're going to talk about is what musical instruments did the disciples play, Bill? Banjo's. Oh, th they played the castinets. Oh god. Yeah.
Right?
Yeah. Especially Peter, James, John. Andrew, they were Castinet players. And so if you're going to learn how to play the Castinets, Right. Then to get the end of what I'm going to talk about today was taking him at his word.
So, with all those things explained somewhat, okay. Let's go back to the story in Luke chapter 5. We'd all put it together. You meant with a whole lot of help. You put it together, right?
There's the pitch, there's the learning to play the castinets, and take him at his word, which is what we're going to talk about here in a second.
So. Luke chapter 5, it says, So it was a multitude pressed about him to hear the word of God, and he stood by the lake of Genesaret.
Well, the lake of Genesir It essentially means that the plane of Gennasaret which was a Roman area that had to do with the the most fertile part of all of Israel, which is Naphtali. And it was not only fertile, In the green vegetation that even Mark Twain saw in the 1800s, but it was fertile in fish. because they're warm springs that feed the Sea of Galilee, right outside of Capernaum. This place of comfort was some good fish, okay? There's these warm springs.
Now these warm springs they operate Which would create algae. But the little fish that eat the algae, They realize if they swim over there in the day, the birds are going to come over and pick them off.
So Little Fish have figured out that, oh, I need to go there at night. And when I do that, I can get the algae without the birds picking me off, but they can't do anything about the bigger fish who see them in the in the s in the shallow water.
So the bigger fish come into the shallow water at night too to eat the little fish, okay? I'm just telling you that part of the story because it's Geneserid. It's that part of a very, very fertile part of. of the tribe of Naftali, including fish.
So He stood by this and he saw two boats standing by the lake, but the fishermen had gone from them and they were washing their nets. Then he got into one of the boats, which was Simon's.
Now, the boat was made out of what, Bill? Would you like to see that? I bet there's pitch on the outside of it. Yeah. Probably a little bit on the inside too.
Okay, well just to make another connection to you, what was a cross made out of? We're doing very good. Very good. The pitch. And the and the other and the Ark of the Covenant it was made out of wood.
Right. And but it was covered with kofer. No, it was covered with a of gold cover, which was called the kofer as well, which is just a word for cover.
Okay, well we'll get to it. All right, so And he asked Simon to put out a little from the land. We talked about this last week, that they went from the shore. Right, there's a lot of people on the sidelines, and then there's people that go out in the shallow water, right? Which is where.
He took Peter and he took Andrew, actually, because he probably was in the boat with Peter, and over there were James and John. And when he stopped speaking to him, he said. And he and he sat down in the boat to teach.
Okay.
Jesus steps into your boat.
Okay? That would be your heart, so to speak, because that's kind of your little arc. And when he sits down to teach, It'd be a good idea to take him at his word, right? And so When he stopped teaching, all of a sudden he spoke directly to Simon. And he said, Launch out into the deep water to let down your nets for a catch.
So Here comes the amazing verse. In Luke chapter 5, verse 5, it says, But Simon answered him, Master, we've toiled all night and caught nothing. He was fishing when he should have been fishing at night, because that's when the fish would be in the shallow water. Nevertheless, At your word I will let down the net. In other words, here they were.
They were very discouraged because they'd fished all night. They were fishing at the right time in the right place with the right gear. And this carpenter was telling them how to fish. Very interesting, right? He'd sat down in the boat.
And he began to teach and then he says something that makes absolutely no sense to a fisherman. It's the wrong time of day. It's not where you catch the fish in the shallow water, it's in the deep water, and then also. These nets aren't Deep water nets. These are shallow water nets.
They drag the bottom. And so the fish could obviously see the net coming and off it would go. And what you may know. No, that I think is absolutely spectacular just to make another little connection so you can connect some more dots. Is the One of the first places that you find the word net In the scripture.
is there was a net that went around The altar. that somewhat caught The sacrifices. And so we're going to get to all that. We're going to talk about. Atonement and Fishing and all those things, but I want to know.
When did you take him at his word? 866-348-7884? You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. The first pitch to Alice Cole. Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus and to take him I've just to rest upon his promise and to the atonement Learning to play the castinets and taking him at his word today on the Christian Car Guy Show, putting together Luke chapter 5 and all the amazing things that God painted into this portrait that he would for us if we have eyes to look and see.
The connection between Noah's Ark And what happened in Peter's boat that day Um the the picture of comfort. being out there In a world of chaos, where the nations were saved. I don't know if you've ever thought about the fact that inside of Shem, Ham, and Japeth, Noah's boys, were all the nations. Every one of us is related to that group of people. And so As we know from What Peter said to Jesus, you know, there, he said, But Nevertheless, and so one of the questions that's really wonderful is: have you ever had that moment where Jesus asked you to do something that made absolutely no sense whatsoever?
It's the wrong place to fish. I'm using the wrong stuff, it's the wrong time of day, this makes no sense. Nevertheless, At your word. I'll let down my net. Right.
And so don't miss that. It's a beautiful thing, but I'm going to go on a bit because there's so much in this that it's like just rich as it can be. And of course Then they after they had done this they caught such a great number of fish that their net was breaking.
Now these fish to some extent Mm-hmm. Represent what Peter would be doing after this incident. He would. It would be this boat. Right.
to some extent that would Acknowledge that Jesus was the Christ, and on that confession he would build his church. And that n net that we know that would be the gospel would catch the nations. not unlike the altar to make the nations Right? An offering to God. It's a beautiful, absolutely amazing picture.
Right?
Okay.
And then there's the whole, you know, when Simon saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees and said, Depart from me, for am I sinful man, O Lord. For he and all who are with him were astonished at the catch of fish which he had taken, and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee. Who were partners with Simon and Jesus, and said to Simon, Jesus again says this, and don't miss this. He says, Don't be afraid.
So, what is that telling you? Peter was scared. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Just saying, Peter was scared. But Jesus explains his future mission.
From now on, you will catch. Men. And so when they brought their boats back to land, they f here comes the the catcher of them all. They forsook all, In other words, They gave it all up and they totally surrendered and followed him.
So there's, Bill and I were talking about it during the break. There's a lot of people out there that say they believe in Jesus. There's a lot of people who said, you know, I believe. But the question is, do you follow? Have you forsook all?
Did you Die to yourself today, you know, however all that looks.
Okay, so what? You know, there are some questions like When in your life did you forsake all? Or when in your life did you choose to truly follow him? Or when in your life did you say, nevertheless? Right?
Those are all good good things. Those are testimonies. I would love to hear it. 866-348-7884-866-34 Truth. I want to share a little more richness before we go to the phones and all that.
But I would really love for you to call now if you can.
So Getting back to this idea of the Day of Atonement, which is Kofer, well, the word kofer, if you study it, and naturally you can kiss I have, is that that word means a number of things in the Bible. I love the way the Bible does this, but they're all so related if you study it. And so when you hear the word Capernaum, you can hear the C sound, and the P sound, and the R sound. And that's Kofur, which is the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur, right? You can hear the C sound, the P sound, and the R sound.
So The word for village The word for ransom. The word for cover. the word for atonement. Um Uh I'm trying to think of the pitch. Those words are all spelled the exact same way, and they all are related in this way.
That, like, it takes a village to. raise a child because the idea of is keeping people on the straight and narrow. Like a village Should be looking out like Bill's got my back. He has all my life. Ever since I've known him, Randy's over there and Nick's got my back.
I can assure you, they're all covering me. Right, and hopefully, you'll cover me in prayer and all sorts of things.
So, a village can bring cover if it's a village that's doing what it should be: a community of Christ, like the church, right? I like what I heard a pastor say this week. Church isn't a place you go. Church is who you are. Right?
You are cover for your friends. You are. out there casting the nets, trying to Reach other people to bring them in for God, right? As Peter. You know, they were getting a picture in this boat of what would happen.
And again, inside this boat. Coffer inside this idea of what Jesus was building, right, at this particular time. He's building the 12 Apostles, which is a village in all of itself. This is all about atonement, believe me, and it's all happening right here in good old Capernaum, right? The thing that I, that the picture that God painted for me.
As I was looking at this, is here is Noah. And Noah is a picture of the thing before this happen. In other words, When you look at what happened is God says, I am going to actually Repent. of what I've done with man, and I'm gonna Essentially, create a flood to take everybody out. But he uses that word repent.
Well, interestingly, that word repent is the same word as Noah.
Okay, that is going to comfort him in some way to do this. And it's a fascinating, very deep concept here. But that idea of comfort, Noah's name. is also that word can mean repent. It's a little different kind of repent than than Shuvah, which is a The prodigal son kind of repent, but this is more of a comfort repent.
Like once you have repented, it's the fruit of repentance. Like now you can be comforted.
Now you're eating steak.
Okay, pick the prodigal son. He came to his senses. That's Shuvah. That's the idea of repentance. But the fruit of repentance is now I'm eating steak and I'm sitting down with my friends having a big party.
Okay.
There's the comfort part. And so that name Noah Right? is comfort in the boat. The point where Peter can repent, right? Turn and follow.
And now the fruit of that, obviously, is a bunch of fish. Which brings a lot of comfort. You begin to see the picture. All right. 866-348-7884.
We'll be right back. You're listening to The Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. The first pitch to Alice Cole. Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus and to take him I wish word the atonement Learning to play the castinets and taking him at his word today.
Okay.
On the Christian Car Guy Show. I know I've done a lot of this. Teaching this morning, but it just seems like, olly, God's put it on my heart to share this.
So we're going to keep going unless you call in at 866-348-7884-866-34 Truth and tell us when you, right, said nevertheless, or when you chose to follow him, forsook all of that kind of thing.
So going back to our friend Noah. Right?
Noah, not unlike Peter. In this picture. Right, he said, nevertheless, because if you talk about something that made no sense to somebody that God asked him to do, like, here, I want you to make an ark of gopher wood. It's going to rain. What is rain?
He's never seen rain. Right?
There is nothing about what God asked Noah to do that would have made any sense to Noah if you think about it. Yet, he forsook all. Right. And I'm sure everybody called him a nut. Who knows what all that Noah experienced as a result of.
him forsaking all and followed God, and took him at his word, and built this ark.
Now, as a result, you know, the question is, how did Noah fulfill his name? His name means comfort. Right. Well Here's the beautiful thing, if you think about it. That The world was chaos, and murder, and hate, and violence, and all this stuff that God couldn't deal with.
Right?
But inside this little ark that was covered with pitch, with coffer, Was love and joy and peace and patience and kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and gentleness and self-control. They were all in there. I can tell you how I know. Because inside of Shem. Was the DNA, was the cells that would one day be Jesus?
Right?
Because he is in that lineage. And so all the comfort - not only was there comfort in that boat comparatively what there was in the world at the time, but also. When you think about it, he would certainly... bring comfort to all of us because of keeping The line of Jesus alive through this boat.
Now, One other beautiful, amazingly beautiful thing to me, and it's spectacular, is the first time the word grace is used in the Bible. is with Noah. Because it says That Noah found grace. in God's eyes. And so The neat, neat, neat, neat, beautiful thing is if you spell Noah's name backwards, which means comfort if you go forward, but if you go backward and you go, rather than you hear that NH sound, now go H N sound, which is a het and then a nun, then you get the word grace.
And the idea of This grace that Noah was God's favorite. Clearly, I mean, he had a whole world to pick. Who'd he pick? He picked Noah, right?
Well, Jesus is on the shore of Galilee that day. And he had a lot of boats to choose from. But he showed grace to one particular individual. Of the later twelve, that certainly was, you know, for a lot of us, a person we could relate to. He showed amazing grace.
It's amazing which boat he picked to sit down in that day. It's amazing who You know, he gave these instructions to, and it's amazing. that Peter forsook all. and he followed him, and as a result He not only comforted, Peter, James, John, and Andrew. But I think if you follow these directions that were pretty clear.
Okay.
Forsake all. And follow him. Right?
It makes no sense, right? Just like Peter, it didn't make a lot of sense to go fishing in the daylight with the wrong net in the wrong place at the wrong time. But believe me. If you take him at his word, he's going to teach you how to play the castinets. I'm just saying it it gets the nations, right?
And It's a pitch that you'll never forget. What do you think, Bill? Yeah. Well, I I remember my daughter was diagnosed with leukemia and we were at Baptist Hospital and we found out that it was not the hospital our health insurance company would cover. And The health insurance company demanded us to go to Duke for them to pay anything.
and my wife and I were discussing it and My wife said, this is not a financial decision. We're going to stay here anyway. And my world sort of shook, and I remember God talking to me, gave me three verses. And before it was all over, we got to stay. We got to help you.
Let's slowly go through your story here.
So it made no sense to my insurance buddy here to stay and wait. Wake for us, that would have been a ridiculous prospect, right? Because you had to have paid an astronomical bill out of my pocket where if we went to Duke, they would have paid 99% of.
However Your wife, which often sounds like God. Yes, she does. And God were both in agreement. that that this needed to happen. This was the place to be.
And so when you felt God's assuring you, That You forsook it in your thoughts, and you're right, died to your own. self and What happened? I got to the office and a dear friend of mine who's brilliant called up and gave me some really great advice and then an idea popped in my head and an idea popped in your head. To contact the president of the health insurance company. I wear it.
I'm sure you realize where that came from. Absolutely. The email popped up and I could tell how I would be able to email the president of the health insurance company. And I prayed and wrote a really great letter and attached a picture of my daughter. And the library told me who the President was, and I figured out the code to their email, and I sent him an email.
And the next day everything turned around. The insurance companies said We're going to use wake force.
Well, what happened was my dear friend, who's a genius and was a very smart Person said, ask about something called a single-case patient negotiation. He said, They won't know what it is, but when they look it up, They'll realize that it's possible for the insurance company and the hospital to agree to create a group plan for just one person.
So the next morning, at the exact same time, this guy called up and said, I'm the senior vice president in charge of claims for Celtic insurance. And the president and I were having breakfast, and the president of the company asked me to call you and see if there was anything we can do for you, which is the exact term my friend had used. He said, if anyone at the hospital or the insurance companies ask if there's anything they can do for you, have them look up a single case patient negotiation.
So I listened to him as he articulated why it was absolutely impossible, that they had no contracts and we had to relocate. And I said, well, thank you very much. Did I hear you correctly? The president of your company. Asked if there was anything you could do for me.
He says, Yes, sir. I said, single case patient negotiation. And there was a dead silence, the type of dead silence when you knew that the person on the other side of the conversation was just put into a place. See, this guy was a hired special to relocate their claims department from one part of the country to another. He wasn't your average single.
Senior Vice President of Argyll's. He said, Well, we'd have to have the hospital agree. I said, Well, thank you. That's great. You want her name and phone number?
I'll be glad to give it to you. Yeah. And Way more important than all that. Right. I can assure you everybody listening.
is what actually happened with your daughter.
Well, there was a great peace that came about. Every step of this, there were three verses that God put in my mind. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. And with prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, lift up your request to God, and the peace of Christ, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. And you're chosen and holy and dearly loved.
And those three verses, on a regular basis, would pop into my mind when there was some situation that just seemed daunting. And one step after another after another, and there were just miracles. It's like every week there was a miracle that would occur. Yeah. Yeah, and so the result, because people listening don't know what happened with your daughter.
I know what happened with your daughter, but She ended up working at a camp for children that had different problems. Um, she got a chance to go to um a camp for people that were expected not to to live. And she ended up changing her major at UNCG to become a child life special specialist. Which you can hear through that that her she was she was God healed her from her leukemia. Miraculously.
And she's been in remission ever since, right? And has been working in a children's hospital, a hospital in Chapel Hill. Yeah, and so, you know, that that's the that's the beauty of it. Um when you think about it. That When we forsake all and we just Like man, I don't know Which is often the case, I don't know.
And we listen. And God can open all sorts of doors.
So it's your story, 866-348-6. 7884, the Atonement, learning to play the castinets and taking him at his word. We'll be right back. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. The first pitch to Alice Cole.
I'd like to play my castinets. Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus and to take him I wish for the atonement learning to play the castinet and taking him at his word, as Peter did that day. And, you know, as you think through that, and I have thought about it now for a couple of weeks, Is that we know that Jesus, according to John, was full of grace. Full of, I mean, and that word has to do with favor, and I've talked about this many times, but. It just it it it just wows me so much I just love it.
If you've known people in your life. that when you were in their presence, you knew you knew. that you were their favorite. I mean that that That You were accepted, that you were loved, that you were believed in, that people. could see you had potential for What it was that you were being involved in.
And so when Peter. decided these things to just Take him at his word or to forsake everything and follow him. It was to a great extent. what today happens to be Saint Francis of Assisi Day. and Saint Francis of Assisi said, speak the gospel at all times.
And when Possible use words.
Well, if you look at this story in Luke chapter 5, you're going to see that nobody records what Jesus taught that day. It's not in Mark, it's not in Matthew, and it's certainly not here in Luke. And you can kind of see it in the Gospel of John, but in each case, you don't see what Jesus was teaching. But he used fish and he used nets and he used water and he used a boat and he used his actions. But most of all, And this is the part we'll get to see I hope an instant replay in heaven.
Peter knew. The favor, like the Lord himself, God. stepped into his boat, I I've just Just try to grasp that in your mind. Like God stepped into his boat. Let me just tell you.
That I can tell you beyond a shadow of doubt he wants to step into your boat.
Okay? He would love to sit in your boat. And your ark that's covered with bitch, if you have Jesus, okay? Your ark. Your holy of holies, okay?
Because your body, if you're Christian, you know your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
So your temple. Right?
It has an arc. A place of the Holy of Holies. It's your boat, right? And when he sits down, it's Jesus, take the rudder.
Okay.
Jesus, you can ask him, Jesus, come in. Come into my heart. Sit down on the throne. Which is what he did that day in the boat. Rabbi sat down as if to sit on a throne to teach.
He really wants to help us, but he's got to sit down on the throne. Yeah. And then when you see the favor, the the He wouldn't do that if he didn't think you had what it took. He wouldn't do that if he didn't love you. He wouldn't do that.
If he didn't have an unbelievable amount of grace, you are his favorite. He just doesn't want to sit down in your boat. He wants to laugh with you. He wants to enjoy sweet fellowship or prayer. He wants to have a relationship with you that's absolutely unbelievable, like he had with Peter.
I can assure you. They had an amazing time. After this incident, But it does require that. You trust him, and then you begin to see the fruit, like what Bill was talking about in the last segment. That when you see the fruit of what happens when you forsake all and just trust him.
Away you go. And I and I and this show itself Okay, was my To an extent, I'm just telling you, it was my. Nevertheless, because Jesus asked me to start uh get on the radio. I I didn't I didn't like public speaking. Last thing in the world I wanted to do was get on the radio, I can assure you.
And one night, God said, Robbie, I want you to start the Christian Carga show. And that. Like man, at the time I was a car dealer in Moxville and I it just made no sense to me whatsoever. I don't know anything about radio. In fact, I use these words.
God, don't you know people go to college to learn how to talk on a radio? I don't know how to talk on a radio. And he said, Ravi, trust me, I just want you to get on the radio and talk about what breaks your heart every day, which at that time was people going into crazy amounts of debts to buy a car. What breaks my heart today is something completely different. And that's seeing people who have not grasped.
The joy. of having Jesus sit down in their heart. and spending time with him every morning in his word. Because to take him at his word, you've got to know what his word is.
Okay.
And to know what his word is means you have to spend time in the word. And and as you do that, He will paint pictures like he painted for me this morning that will just take your breath away. At every every step of the way. If if you trust him, And you take him at his word Just like just like Peter did. Then he will help you play the castinets and someday.
you may have the amazing joy As I know you have Bill. of seeing somebody else land Jesus in their boat. Right. It's a matter of faith. We're called to be Christ in the world that we live in.
We are supposed to make a difference, to be a light on the hill, a time of refreshing. We're supposed to encourage people. And we're supposed to let them know why we're sure that we know where we're going to end up and that it's going to be a wonderful place. God'll put people in our path if we're willing to share the good news with them. If we wake up in the morning and say to day, My responsibility is to share the good news with people.
then God will bless that and put people in your life that you can make a difference. Oh, it's it's absolutely the s the simplest thing in the world.
However, it's very, very, very hard. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Let me just say this.
Forsake everything, follow me. you know That's it. Nevertheless, it's your word. That's it's It's simple in concept, but it's not so easy to do. And the reason why.
Is because it requires him and he wants that relationship. He designed it so that. It's simple, but really, really hard.
So that you won't go, oh, I got this now. I don't need you anymore, God. No, no, you're going to require him tomorrow morning. You're going to require him tomorrow afternoon. You're going to require him in the next five minutes.
I assure you, in order to get to that place where he's truly on the throne, it. It it it requires a constant relationship, which is Yeah. Actually, kind of the point in what he told Paul when he had the thorn in the flesh. He said, You know, The The good news is I'm here with you. And there's the good news.
And if we only could grasp 1/15th of that, you know, we would be in a pleasant place.
So I don't want to lose the moment, right? If you are at a place where you would like to say Jesus. Please. come into my moat. I believe you are the Son of God.
I believe that when you look at me, you love me, that you accept me, that that you want to me to be part of your kingdom. I believe that with all my heart. And I want to follow you. Lord, show me how, help me, right? Show me how to follow you.
Show me how to walk up to somebody today and confess that you are the Lord. And Believe in your heart. That God raised him from the dead, right? And then don't just believe, but follow. Right.
Follow where he sends you. But in order to do that, you've got to have him sit down on the throne. It's hard at first, the more you do it. the more fun it becomes. Do that by studying his word tomorrow morning.
So, if you prayed that prayer, you want to reach out to me. It's pretty easy. Go to ChristianCarGuy.com. You're going to find all my contact information, my phone numbers there if you need me. Please call me.
I would love to. Share with you how to go deeper, and I know Bill would as well. It's all there at ChristianCarGuy.com. Build anything before we go? Yeah, a lot of the times we don't feel like that we deserve.
And that's why Jesus came. You aren't supposed to worry about feeling like you deserve. You're supposed to lay your sins at God's feet. Just be willing to repent and do things different. The repent is the big deal.
Like, that's where the atonement comes in because it's going to cover you from your sins.
So remember, slow down. Jesus walked everywhere he went and got it all done. In the 33 years, thank you for listening to the Christian Car Guyt.
