Thunder, thunder over Thunder Road. Thunder was his angel. What will you do with that freedom? Will you fight? No!
We will run! And we will live.
Alright. Fight and you may die. Run. And you'll love At least a while. I'm dying in your bed.
Many years from now. Would you obey Willie? For trade. All the days, from this day to that. For one chance.
Just one chance to come back here. And tell our enemies. That they may take our lives. But they'll never take our freedom! Welcome to the Christian Car Guy Radio Show.
I say this calls for action and now thunder over thunder road. Thunder was as independent. Live from the Middle Eastern Christian Festival in Clemens, North Carolina, on Harper Road. If you want to make your way out here, 2570 Harper Road, if you happen to be in the Winston-Salem area, but otherwise, you may be in Seattle this morning. You may be in Dayton, Ohio.
So we, I think, are you going to get the feel of what it's like to be in the Middle East in so many different ways on Thunder Road, as the case may be. I bet you're wondering about all that. I actually have a method to my madness, don't I, Jerry? Absolutely. We may get to that at some point.
I'll give you the breakdown, but we also have a good friend of mine. Maybe you haven't heard him before, if you haven't listened for years, but. Kareem is here with the Bible Church of Clemens and you guys put on this amazing festival every year and Just welcome to the Christian Carga Show. Thank you. It's always a joy to see you every year consistently and glorify God and enjoy good fellowship.
Yes, it's amazing.
So you may wonder, like, Robbie, what are you up to with this?
Well, you got the Middle Eastern theme. Right? And What we I think this has taught me over the years is the Middle Eastern Christian Festival is There is a Christian face of the Middle East, and it's a completely different face. than what you may imagine. And so we're sitting across right here.
from a tent over here that's got In the same tent is Egypt sitting next to Jordan, sitting next to Lebanon. At times, there may be Israel over there, I don't know, but believe me, over the years I've seen it, all these different cultures. And these people are hugging each other and loving on each other because they all share. The love of Christ in Spain. Robbie, you know, is sitting here when you say that.
What's make me. coming kind of stirs up and a feeling inside is the fact world what we're living in today, I mean the division, the fighting, the The Just just the evil And you sit there and you think about one part of the country that there's so much So much Confusion and hatred towards each other. What brings it all together here, Cream? What's the thing? It's the fact of Jesus Christ.
I mean, no matter what problems we have, We do all know the answer. Do we know that uh that that's a going to always people realize it? Absolutely not. But this is just a prime example. Bring people together for Jesus Christ, and all of a sudden those walls are tore down.
You know, I uh I think you can know the story from the end. What is God's design?
Well go to Revelation. What do you see around the throne? Every tongue? Tribe. A nation gathered together, the body of Christ.
Finally united celebrating tongue, language. tribe, ethnicity. And um Nation. Citizenship. And this is what only Christ can do Ephesians 5.
We have one lord. One father, and we have all drank of one spirit. Yeah, and so you may be wondering, Robbie, what does this have to do with Thunder Road? I am so glad you asked. What does this have to do with Braveheart?
I am so glad you asked. And when I throw this next line out here, you're really going to think I lost my mind. But here you go. Raise a hallelujah. It says that death is defeated.
Right? And if you're going to defeat death, The last in the book of Revelation, the last thing to be defeated will be death in Hades. Right? If you're gonna defeat that, it certainly takes something supernatural. And do you have that in you?
It might be a question you may never consider. But here's the thing that might just take your breath and say, Robbie, are you out of your mind? No, the question is: why did God make you with a temper? Maybe you even have a fierce temper. Maybe you have an out of control temp.
Maybe you road rage. Why did God give you that? Have you ever wondered about that? And I don't know if you knew this, but they're... Was a nickname.
for two of the disciples, James and John, and it was the sons of thunder. And why did they get that nickname? They wanted fire to come down and burn up the Samaritans who didn't respond to the gospel. Right. They had a temperament.
That temper. And then there was another little character there by the name of Peter, and you might remember he just drew his sword one time and lopped off somebody's ear in the heat of battle. And so if you take it, it's an interesting thing. that Jesus is going to take on death. In Mark chapter 5, you're going to see he takes on death three different ways.
He takes it on the tombs of the demonic. He takes on death in the woman with the issue of blood as she's losing life. But then last of all, he takes on Jerius's daughter, who's dead, and he sends everybody away. The crowd, the shenanigans. But he takes three guys.
Why those three? It's fascinating when you read They're stories. These guys had some They had some passion. They had some temper. But Harnessed with the Holy Spirit, if you're going to take on the most powerful foe of all, which is death.
You need to have some fight in you, as you could see. If you ever watch the movie Braveheart, you could see that William Hall has had a great deal of that. Right? He had this unbelievable Passion. But his passion was for the gospel.
I don't know if you heard what he said, but listen carefully with a little lens, a different lens. He said. Right? What will you do with that freedom? Will you fight?
Which is again why, in my opinion, Jesus brought those three to take on death: was to fight. Will you fight? Because someday, laying in your beds. Will you be willing to trade every day from this to that to say you can take away my life, the gospel? The you dies, right?
You could take away my life. But you can't take Jesus, right? You can't take away my freedom. Right, and it's a beautiful thing when you think about it. Better.
If you're like me, and people that know me know that they're down inside a Robbie. If you push the wrong button. There's going to be some screaming going on. He gets wild. It's like, what's up with that?
Well God made me that way, so why? Why? because he wanted that passion to be harnessed. within the Holy Spirit, within the gospel, to be used to take on this fight. When you think about it from a biblical standpoint, let's just review some characters, okay?
Abraham warrior. All right. When they took Lot, he's on his way, buddy, and he kicks some serious. It's stuff with just a very few guys in order to set Lot free, right? And clearly, Jacob, he's out there wrestling God, so what did that look like?
Moses, do you think he had a temper? He killed a guy. Right? And and I buried him in the sand. A little bit of a temper, right?
You can see that, Joshua? I mean, he was a warrior. He was a serious. Warrior. David.
Right. You can't miss it. You can't miss it. And with that warrior spirit comes courage. and fire.
And if you look closely, you will see it. in the three. And if you just take a look at those three individually, you go, James. The first person to actually give up his life. Other than Jesus, right?
Yeah. And I've often wondered what kind of fight did he pick to get that done? In other words, why did Herod not choose Peter or You know. Thomas. No, he picked James.
What? My guess is James was a big, burly looking like, I'm going to take you on, dude. Yeah. And he wasn't called the sons of thunder for nothing, right? Yeah, um you know Robert, you're saying that, I mean, part of it is Because if I go back years, go back into being in sports and stuff, I would always want to be around somebody.
who was willing to do anything for whatever the cause is. I mean, and I think people that that people gravitate to that, but also to it frightens people who are on the outside of that. And I think that's sort of, you know, God wants us to have that same passion. In war, what what do you want? You want warriors who are passionate willing to die for what the cause is.
And see, to me... Here in the Middle East. since that's where we happen to be sort of today. are these amazing warriors, right?
Some of them I haven't harnessed it yet in the right direction. But still, that passion's there, that fire's there. You want to get a good hug? Come out to the Middle Eastern Christian Festival. Yeah.
And all the food, we're gonna get to that, you don't wanna miss that, but we're gonna be back on Thunder Road in a minute.
Well I want to know one thing right now. We are in our tent. If you come out here you'll see where our tent is. Very fun. I'm gonna get after the food and stuff, huh?
Uh You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Thunder Thunder Thunder over, thunder rode, thunder was his engine. Thunder Road. Live thunder. Live from the Middle Eastern Christian Festival, 2570 Harper Road in Clements, North Carolina.
Of course, I realize if you're in Dayton, Ohio, you can just enjoy that. And hopefully they're doing something similar in your area. Look into it, because I assure you. It's amazing. to experience this culture.
It's amazing to experience this food, as Jerry pointed out. But the reason why we're calling this Thunder Road is that James and John were the sons of Thunder. And we're not saying that This was the only reason that Jesus picked those three, but we are saying... That wow. Masculinity is Part of the reason you want a man that will stand up.
You want a man that's got some fire. And yeah, there's something scary in that. Right? Maybe you saw it in a dad or a grandfather that they had a look. That they gave you?
And you knew that you had stepped about as far as you were going to step before things got serious. And that's critical. That's critical if you're going to pick somebody to fight against death, which is what the gospel is. And so we're talking about that. And certainly as we Fight, we might as well eat.
Right? So Jerry, you got it. I mean If you've never had Kafta. If you'd never had it, like... I don't even know how to explain how good this stuff is, but it's like a long, it's like.
It's like a meatball, but it's long. But it's got... spices in it that just unbelievable. And then they have hummus. Like you you may have had hummus wherever you had hummus, but you haven't had hummus until you've had it.
This is the real thing. The real thing. And falafel, you will not feel awful after you eat falafel. You will just go back for some more. You know what I'm saying, Jerry?
You've got to eat it every year. Like, you don't want to miss this stuff. Absolutely. I'm. As I said, it's a real thing.
go to the marketplace or wherever and you get something close, but if you want to come out and experience not just the food, but just come out and experience the culture. And as I said before, and Robbie just mentioned, you have tents with different countries from the Middle East that are sitting side by side, that are going to be here Sunday morning worshiping together, but what brings them together? Yeah, and I think this is the heart of the gospel. Um the word for the church. Ecclesia i means people called out From different backgrounds into unity in one body in Christ.
And as I mentioned, Ephesians 5 makes it clear, one father. One lord. One baptism. And we have all drank of one spirit. One of the things that is glorious is you can meet someone.
from any country in the world. different language, different upbringing. But the minute you speak and you sense the Spirit of God. You have so much in common. You're like we're long-lost brothers.
And that's the reality of it. Last weekend, Robbie was in Georgia. Right, I was in Atlanta. Yeah, was that not just like being homecoming back with brothers and sisters? You're here, it's the same thing.
And that Jesus Christ brings us together. Right, I can't even begin to tell you how blessed I feel. Because like I said, last week I was at Sweetwater Baptist Church where they have a car show that's second to none. And of course that's that culture, right? They have barbecue, like Georgia barbecue, like and and and all that stuff that was at that deal.
But I've done that, I guess, for eight years now. And those people are dear as me. Like, it's completely coming home. And those people are very, very close. Just in amazing, but then I've done this, I think I've done it since 2013 or 2014, I've done this longer.
However, I got to do it back-to-back weekends. In both cases, man, the second I come on the scene, I'm like, oh. Feel like you're at home. It's more than that, it's like heaven. Yeah.
Amen. It's like heaven because you feel accepted. You feel loved? And you know it's partying on. Amen.
It's a taste of heaven. It is, it's a taste of heaven, and believe me, when you taste the baklava, you'll probably just keep going back to the food. By the way, there's about 18 to 24 women. handmade from Ingredients that came from the earth. I'm not exaggerating.
over this last week everything you consume here. Wow. Isn't that cool? And I know I'm missing the kebab. What else am I missing?
What's your favorite, Karim? Ooh, good question. I actually might say the Kefta. Yeah, but there are chicken kebabs. Yes.
There is of course the falafel. There is shawerma, which is beef, cut up, spiced, flavored like gyros, but Middle Eastern style gyro sandwiches. And yeah, so it's quite a bit of things. And of course, what we call oven macaroni. Think of it as a lasagna without the cheese.
Type? Oh, yeah. I'm glad you reminded me of that. Oh, I can hardly wait. And you're originally from Egypt, right?
Born in Egypt, raised in Sudan. Yeah, how many people do you know like that? And so From your perspective, what tastes most like home here as far as the food? Like if you were the sedan. I think the falafel.
The Kefta. The chicken. and the oven macaroni. I think those taste. A lot like home.
Yeah, I went to Israel in May. And uh I don't know what they call it oven macaroni, but there was a lot of dishes like that. Apparently it's kosher, you know, there's not a lot of pork in that. No. In fact, there's nothing on the menu that includes pork.
Not we have no problem. I eat pork, but it just happens to be that way. Anyway, amazing, amazing times. And again. It's amazing time to hear testimonies and we're going to share Some of those, if you're listening on the Truth Network, we'll have them in Kingdom Pursuits, and you'll be able to hear.
some of these, but I I want to share with you um A little bit out of the Gospel of Mark. And just to highlight some of the stuff that happened here, because I think it's remarkable that, again, you may know that Jesus had just healed the woman that had the issue of blood.
So if you pick it up in Mark 5:35, it says, while he was speaking, Some came from the ruler of the synagogue's house and said, your daughter's dead. Why trouble the teacher any further? Right? And If it was your daughter? Are you fixed to say no?
He didn't. He said, as soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he said to the ruler of the synagogue, Do not be afraid, only believe. Amen. And here's this cool thing. It's just a little note in here that you may not have seen before.
And he, meaning Jesus, permitted no one. to follow except Peter, James, and John.
Now you might remember that there was a whole crowd enthronging him.
Now what kind of man does it take to say You. Stay. You three. Goat. In other words, he stopped a whole crowd.
And he took out these three. Why? Well We'll get back to that when we come back from the Middle Eastern Christian Festival. Don't miss out! 2570 Harper Road, we want to see you.
You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Thunder, thunder over Thunder Road. Thunder was as injured. Until our enemies. That they may take our lives.
But they'll never take me. Fuck radar! I'm gonna see in the middle of the storm.
Now we're in louder. You're gonna hear my praises roar up on the ashes. Hope we'll arise. is defeated. It takes something supernatural to do that, and I don't know if you've ever thought about that supernatural power you might have within you that you've been afraid of, if you have it.
And you've thought about it? I bet you do, haven't. But it kind of scared you once or twice when it came out and you didn't know exactly what to do that and Jesus is calling. He wants to help you with that. Just like Jarius' daughter was saved by the word of God.
In other words, yes, he had hold of her hand. Yes, he said, little girl, wake up. But don't forget what it actually was. It was the word of God that woke her up. And if you want help, It's the Word of God that can help you now.
If you're like me and you want food, you're smelling it over here because it's amazing. I learned something this week, or God taught me something.
So those who know me well know I have this amazing breakfast. I eat the seven foods of the promised land. Wheat and barley and grapes and olive oil and figs and dates and pomegranates. Oh, I have to eat that every morning. I really do.
And uh And often I'm just delighting it and just telling God, man, oh, these dates, man, or oh, these figs, or like, man, this. If you boil wheat, I get the wheat berries and I boil it to make it, or I get barley berries and put it in there, and so it's like wonderful, right? And I'm telling God that.
Well, this morning, not Tuesday morning. I was I forgot to pray. And I started to eat. And as I was eating, I was delighting, like, God, man, these wheat bears, like, man, these are over the top. You have just done, and I'm praising God all the way.
And I was sitting there, I went, oh God, I forgot to pray. I forgot to bless the food. And he grabbed my spirit and he said this to me. He said, Robbie. He said, would you rather if you were going to eat dinner with your son, if you're going to eat breakfast with your son, Would you rather he said Thanks, Dad, and took off and went somewhere.
Or would you rather that he thanked you all the way through the meal? Like he was right there with you and he said And he said You're with me. This is fun. This is good. We're good.
And so if you make your way out to the Bible Church Clements. Which I hope you do, which is on Harper Road. We're enjoying the Middle Eastern Christian Festival, and you'll take Part of this food, I hope, is you are Right, and thrilling it, enjoying it, and And all those things you could be Trying to think where he put that particular mic. Oh I see, there it is.
Okay, we'll get you tuned up here in a second. Yeah. So Wonderfully. Oh, she's in the green.
Okay. There you are. That's live radio for you. That is live live. We're live and they just put somebody.
It's all good. It's all good. Because, you know, we have Rima with us. And I'm at a little bit. Kareem introduce Rima because she is a special lady.
Sure, glad to.
So Reema is one of five siblings in a very sweet family. the bulbuses in our congregation. And um Rima went through, and her parents and family went through a very challenging time. with leukemia. A very rare form, which I'll let her tell the story, but suffice this to say, she's still with us.
God has been greatly glorified through her story and her and how he healed her.
So I think she'll be saying more about that. Yeah, and so this is one of the neat things that God shows up in so many different ways. when you come together in a community. And again, every time I see Raymond's big smile, I know a little bit of the story behind it. Wow, how many do you know how many of these festivals we've done Rima?
To say that I know the exact number would not be true, but I know that, I mean, I remember you here as long as I can remember, you know, doing the festival.
So I'm 23 right now, so it has to be more than 23. Oh, wow. That is good. That is good. So.
Share a little bit of what this festival means to you based on your testimony. Course.
Well, you know, when I was younger, I was diagnosed with a very rare type of childhood leukemia, and it was a full series of chemotherapy treatments and radiation and all of that. But what really touched me the most during my experience was the unity in the body of Christ. And so, a lot of the people here at this church and who are present at this festival have been there with me and my family since day one, since my diagnosis. And just to see how they've prayed for us, they've provided for us, they've supplicated to God to heal. Me and to give comfort to my family, and seeing that.
Those prayers have been answered. It's like a full circle moment. And so now, here at the festival, when I'm playing music on my guitar that I actually learned how to play in the hospital. And seeing my Christ's family here and being able to fellowship and celebrate with them, it's just overwhelming that. Even though we're all from different countries, different backgrounds, and A lot of them are war overseas.
We're here united celebrating. And the because we're joined in the body of Christ. Yeah, that's and I'll tell you one quick one instant. There's a moment I remember as clear as day. We were at the hospital at Brenner Children's Hospital in Winston-Salem, Wake Forest.
And um the doctor's Yeah. intervening because Rima had some complications because of the treatment. Her immunity was shocked. She got meningitis, which you know is is lethal, on top of a lethal leukemia that most you know don't recover from. And I remember her parents walking out holding each other.
Tears streaming down both parents. And saying The doctor said start making plans. 1% chance she'll be alive tomorrow morning. And they said, and he looked at, I remember he told me, he looked at the doctor, he said, Doctor, I understand, I hear you. But you're not in charge.
Goddess. We came out, we were all heartbroken. We were interceding and praying. She recovered the next day. The doctors can't really explain what happened, but here she is.
He was right. You need to go out and make plans. Make plans on what it is. God had different plans, right? He did, absolutely.
Well played, Jerry, I like that. Yeah, go out and make plans. But Right, that The cool thing, like if you if you see the picture of this, I hope you do. that this was Kareem in Egyptian, locking arms with people from Israel, locking arms with people from Lebanon, locking arms with people from Jordan, locking arms from these people that you think can never find peace. Oh, yes, they can.
Amen. Oh, yes, they can. And not only find peace. but can bear fruit. Like this is tremendous fruit.
If you met Rima, you would know that life. Is so precious right now. That's Christ in me. Right. And to hear you sing, which again, if you make your way out here to 25 70 Harper Road and Clemens 27012.
If you need to put that in your GPS. Again, if you're anywhere near Winston-Salem, I understand in Dayton O'Hoppit. I hope. I hope you're hearing. uh what God's doing.
Uh It's so amazing and so in this season that we're in, right? Like it was not long ago and And there was an assassin. Right that took out a man just simply for his testimony and for the word of God This is spoken of in the book of Revelation. And so it it's it's a time of war and not a time to shrink back. 100%, you know, I'll tell you something.
We spoke quite a bit extensively last Sunday about the assassination of Charlie Kirk and The fact that we who come from the Middle East are much more accustomed to persecution. We know what it is to have your grades altered. Because you're a Christian. We know what it is for women to be harassed. We know what it is to be thrown in jail for proclaiming the gospel.
We know what it is to be killed. and the history of the church from day one from Stephen's assassination. Right. You can call it that, right? to James and beyond.
That's been 11 out of the 12 disciples were killed for their faith. Only John lived on. And so this is not foreign to the body of Christ. I think we've been living in a protective bubble in the US and in the West. But it looks like Satan is gearing it up.
And we need to be men and stand tall and proclaim the gospel and not back down one inch. In fact, if anything, we need to double down. When you said that, one thing to think about really bothered me during this whole, just seeing this. Yeah, it is our history. I mean, it's, I mean, biblical history, our US history, foreign history.
But what really bothers me as far as the culture goes in society, especially the United States, is the fact what you saw. the comments afterwards, the acceptance of that, and that there was a path of that was the right thing to do. And I can support that. That Satan had to be rejoicing. And that's what I struggle with more than, well, though I struggle with all of it, but just the fact that I saw.
I saw elected officials. who were supporting Uh a murderer, an assassin. I saw People in the streets saying, if I had that chance, I would have done it. What does that say about who we are? Yeah.
And Yeah, and the challenge to that, you know, really From my perspective, it is it. is they didn't know Charlie Kirk. Right. They don't know from whence they speak. Right?
They never really spent any time to understand. or try to learn or all those things. And so they're coming from a point of ignorance. And so we have to come at them with a point of love, but we have to do that with complete courage.
So we got more of Rainma, we got more of... Kareem and we need more of you, more Kafta. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Thunder, Thunder Thunder older, thunder older. Thunder was as independent.
Live today from the Middle Eastern Christian Festival at the Bible Church of Clemens on Harper Road in Clemens. We hope you're making your I hope you can smell it from there wherever you are. Like if you like kebab and kafta, like oh my goodness. And can we ever smell it? And so you may wonder, Robbie, why did you call show today's show Thunder Road?
Well, the point of it is that to my the thoughts that is is in this time that we all live in Right that God wants us to be all that we can be what he made us to be and it says in Genesis that he made us male and female, right? Yeah. And He had something in mind. that specific roles that that You know, beautifully women bring life. There's nothing else on life.
Life is huge, and whether you've ever put this together, but we're all the bride of Christ. And at some point in time, as his bride, we can bring life. I don't know if you thought about that. With his help and with the spirit, we can be part of that, as his daughter. Right?
But as men. Thunder Road is part of the equation, is that somebody has to stand up.
Somebody has to be the father. Right? The one that looks at the kids and says, you've gone as far as you're going. cross this line, right?
Somebody has to essentially put the fear of God to some extent. And it's a fascinating thing. that we stand here at this crossroads. I just received word just a moment ago from our COO that there was a gunman at the memorial service for Charlie Kirk.
So for such a time as this, we stand, and we don't know. What they may have had in mind, but if there was ever not a time to back down, and I love the way. I love the way you put it, so... During the break.
Well, I was just saying that I don't You know, after the assassination of Charlie Kirk and all of these people on social media, you know, celebrating his death. and kind of voicing these thoughts. I I don't think that they necessarily want to. It's easy to generalize, but I think they the source is that they don't have the love of Christ in them. They have the void and they don't know how to fill it.
And so by giving off hate or voicing their opinions on online, It's seemingly going to fill that void, but Only Christ can fill that void. Amen. Preach a sister. And again, you you You know, those of us, and I I I have a similar story and that I was healed from cancer as well and also a serious infection that came from all that you know that we have really similar stories, you and I do. And so there's yeah, because God gives you a sense of how precious life is and also how fragile it is.
Again, it will take nothing and it will take us out. 100%. Rob, you know, you said something that I maybe just want to add a point to, which is Sometimes we feel like we have to apologize for the roles that men have. Right. We don't.
God's design is perfect and the reality is And this is something we have to wrestle with. Jesus said, do not think that I came to bring peace but a sword.
Now what was he talking about? Clearly. Not taking off weapons. Because when Peter did, he put him in his place real fast and he healed the man. But he was talking about the truth, the sword of the truth.
And whenever I declare something that is a statement of truth, it will divide depending on where you stand. If I say like you did, God made them male. and female and that's all there is.
Well now I put a a sword, a line in the sand, and do you agree or not? Depending on where you stand, you may be for me or against me. But that's okay. because the truth is critical. To set people free, and we have to stand on it in love.
Speak the truth in love. And here's the truth. Men were made to be masculine. Men were designed by God to lead the church. Men were designed by God to lovingly lead and serve their wives.
Men were designed by God to speak The truth and defined moral boundaries for their children. Men were designed to be protectors and providers. And we offer no apology for that. In fact, a good woman Loves a man who leads like that. She will follow him to the moon.
And I think God's design is perfect in that sense. Yeah, and it's such an opportunity for us. To learn from Charlie Kirk. I mean, people watched. any of his interviews on the campuses.
You saw him take on hate? Yep. But he put the microphone down.
so that he wouldn't interrupt them. He put the microphone down so that he could hear them. and hear their story and hear their heart.
so that he could respond. in love, but also completely with the truth. Right? And therein lies all of our opportunity because it's pretty easy to get wrapped up in the shenanigans. I think that one of the very interesting points, and to add to what Kareem said, Charlie Kirk going on all these campuses.
I mean, he could have gotten some popularity and stuff, but it doesn't make sense for him to spend three hours. very often in the hot sun, just answering these questions and it almost shows the heart that he had. Yeah. The truth. His passion for the truth, and I think.
That's exactly the type of Passion slash love that Christ has for us, that God has for us. That's why He gave us the Bible. And so. We were created. See King.
God, right? We were created perfectly in tune with God.
So after sin, after the fall, we always have that void. But what so many people don't understand is that The void can only be filled with the love of Christ. And so It When you have the love of Christ, it almost makes you do things that don't make sense. For example, like Charlie. spending all this time just talking to people, he's not getting paid for it or anything, right?
Or um Even like Like It's not a Christian festival for the Middle East. And you guys have an amazing investment. in all that goes on in this in time and treasure and talent. And You know, you're reaching out to some people that don't necessarily see you when they're in the supermarket and go, hey, how are you doing? Exactly.
Because they think, oh, oh no, it's a Muslim. There's truth to that. I mean, there's one of the confusing points, I think, is just because we're not intimate in the United States with. the the Middle East. We assume Arabic implies Muslim.
But it doesn't inasmuch as speaking English implies you're American. There are British English speakers, there are Australian English speakers, there are New Zealanders.
So, Arabic is culture and language, unfortunately, which is causing confusion. But we are Christians, and of course, there are Muslims as well.
So, you're right, that association happens. Oh, it does. it's always a beautiful thing and and the reason why I I want to highlight that is your children need to know this, right? You may know it intellectually and whatever, but when you bring your children out here and they get a big O hug from somebody from Lebanon or they get They get a chance to sit down in the tent with somebody from Jordan, and all of a sudden they see something, and no longer do they associate that with that. but now they can associate, which is what a lot of what Charlie Kirk did was he.
He went for that next generation, right, Jerry? Yeah, absolutely. And you know what? When you see the videos, and I've watched it live and stuff over the years and stuff, what always impressed me Yes. Like I said, he would sit the mic down so he would listen to the argument.
Oh, yeah. And he would.
Okay, we talk about Thunder Road today. This time I'm gonna bring it in. I would have a hard time having people attack me the way he was attacked. continuously on these These get-togethers he had on in these colleges and also high schools, where people would be just directly attack him, and he would always say. I'm not going to back down from the gospel of Jesus Christ and the truth.
And I love you because Jesus tells me I need to. I may disagree with you, but I love you. Amen. I hate we got to go, but. Weiwo, if you're gonna Beyond Kingdom Pursuits, we'll be right back.
But if not, thank you for listening to Christian Car Guy. You gotta remember. Slow down, Jesus walked everywhere he went and got it all done in 33 years.
So grateful for each and every one of you listening today. God bless.
