Hey, everybody. Welcome to The Charlie Kirk Show. Andrew Colvet here filling in for the one and only Charlie Kirk. We have a phenomenal episode.

When I say phenomenal, I mean it. We talked to Pastor John Amichukwu, who just last night was kicked out of a New Jersey school board meeting for quoting the Bible and for talking about his faith. A truly remarkable story, but it ends in a good place. They win.

They got this terrible trans policy taken out of the school district, but it didn't come without a cost. He tells you all about it. We talk about why the left wants to separate parents from children and what they're really up to.

The fight continues. Buckle up. Here we go. Charlie, what you've done is incredible here. Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus. I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks. I want to thank Charlie. He's an incredible guy. His spirit, his love of this country. He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created. Turning Point USA. We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

So much to unpack. But first, we're going to bring up Tina Blanco. She's the founder of the Satellite Phone Store, great partner of the show. Tina, welcome to The Charlie Kirk Show. Honored to have you.

Thank you so much for having me. Yeah, wonderful. Yeah, we want to talk about satellite communication because it is essential to have a backup communications these days. As we saw, I think, last election, anything is possible. And cell phone communications can go down at any time. As we saw what happened in Hawaii during the fires this past year, where 95 percent of the island had no cell phone. But the people that had satellite phones were able to communicate to the nearby islands to get help.

And they were able to communicate with their families as well. That's a good point, actually. Yeah, go ahead. I didn't mean to cut you off.

Please, continue. Yeah, so at Sat123.com, we have made it very easy for people to actually own these. Previously, most of the owners of these were just the U.S. government and the military. But now they're available for the average consumer. So if you go to Sat123.com, you can get these phones at no cost. You just sign up for a 15-month agreement, $85 a month, and the phone is included at no cost. We also have these bivy sticks that turn your smartphone into two-way satellite communicator, so you'll be able to text from anywhere on earth. So you just put your smartphone into airplane mode, and then you're still able to text. Oh, that's interesting.

That's great. So the reason we had you back on, Tina, is Charlie did a segment about Sat123.com, I guess like a couple months ago. And we had this overwhelming response from people that are worried about whether it be some sort of EMP attack or the cell phones going down, a natural disaster. Everybody feels, I think, a sense of unease.

There was a Netflix movie called Leave the World Behind where there was a foreign attacks on the homeland. And apparently, I've talked to a bunch of people, this sparked a massive boom in the preparedness industry, whether that be food or, in your case, satellite phones. Are you seeing that people are becoming more aware of your product, they're getting more nervous, they're feeling like they need to be more prepared? Because I certainly am seeing that. We're seeing that on the show. People are feeling unease about the future of not only this country, but the world with Ukraine, everything's going on.

You mentioned Maui, which was a weird, natural disaster, or a man-made disaster. Are you seeing that? And what's your message to them? I mean, I think satellite phones used to be thought of as a thing for only the rich. And now you're saying that it's basically, you know, anybody can have it.

You can even get the, what did you call it, a ViviStick? Tell us about the pricing around that so people can know how to get one of those. So these are free and you sign up for 12 months at $65 a month and you get unlimited texting from anywhere on earth. I just want to make sure that everybody knows that satellite phones work on 100% of the earth, where cell phones work on about 7% of the earth. And when satellite phones go down, when we saw the Hawaii fires, only less than 5% of the island was on fire. But 95% of the island had no cell service. So cell towers go down very easily, very quickly. Also, last year, our customers that were in Acapulco, they went to bed thinking it was a tropical storm.

Within 12 hours, it turned into a Category 5 hurricane. These disasters happened. Cell towers were down. The people that had sat phones were able to call to get out of the city, were able to call and get help outside the city to escape the disaster area.

So it is really nice having these. Communication is so important. And look, if our communication grid gets attacked, that is like the worst thing that could happen for us not to be able to communicate with our friends and family. You can't attack the satellites. Not all of them.

They can't all go down. So this will be the last thing on earth that will be working should any communication attack happen. You brought up a good point, Tina, actually, for people that are traveling. If you're taking a trip to Europe or Mexico or Hawaii, bring this satellite phone with you.

It's kind of a safety blanket. Use your cell phones. But if something were to happen, this is sort of the backup plan. By the way, they work if you can see the sky. So in theory, I'm not saying you should do this.

It might be against some law or whatever. But if you're in an airplane and you can point it to the sky, it would work, correct? The phones will work from anywhere on earth as long as you can see the sky. Most major airlines that I know of do use the Iridium network to communicate. So if you owned your own plane, most people that have their own plane use the satellite in their private planes. So yeah, but I think it would be against the law as a passenger on a commercial plane.

We're not saying do that. It's a fascinating data point there as we're talking about cell phones. Okay, so one last time here.

I'm sure the interest in the audience is going crazy. Tell us where they can get this, what it costs, and what you get. Is there a minute plan? Is there a text plan?

One last pitch here, Tina. Yes, so you can get all three phones. You can get the iSAT, which is $85 a month, and you get the phone for free. You can get the Iridium phone, and that's also for free, but that's $95 a month. And then you can get the bivy stick that gives you unlimited texting using your smartphone for $65.99 a month. The 100 minutes a month for the sat phones, for the bivy sticks, it is unlimited. Also, you can actually call any number.

That's one of the biggest questions we get. Can I call any number? And the answer is yes, you can call any number. And all of these, they can go to sat123.com and order, or they can call our phone number, which is 941-955-1020.

And I also want to mention one last thing. Keep in mind that these cannot be tracked. So nobody can track you. Nobody can listen in to your calls. Nobody can read your text messages.

You're not going to get bombarded with Google or Facebook advertisement when you talk about something. So these are very secured, and this is the reason why the military uses these, because they don't want the bad guys to find them. And so it's kind of nice sometimes just shutting off your electronics that have a way to communicate with friends and family without being tracked. So it's privacy, it's a backup plan, it's a sense of security, it's a what if things go south really, really quickly. I love the traveling aspect of it, by the way. I think there's going to be a lot of people in the audience that relate to that.

If you're traveling, you feel a little less secure. So that's really great. So everybody, go to sat123 if you're interested in a satellite phone. Great partners. Like I said, last time we did a segment on this in the show, we got such a massive reply and a response. We wanted to do it again because there is interest. We actually get a lot of friends and partners, donors.

They say, where do we get those phones? Can you connect us with that team? So we wanted to do this for you all.

sat123 sat123.com. Tina, thank you so much for coming on the show and telling us about it. Thank you so much for having us. Really appreciate you.

Absolutely. Honored to have you. Thank you so much for having us. GoodRanchers.com.

That is GoodRanchers.com. Lots to talk about still in this hour. Very excited. Like I said, we're going to have John Amanchukwu, who went to a New Jersey school board last night to defend children. And he got escorted out by police for his crime, quoting scripture, talking about his faith and his values.

True story. He's going to walk us all through it. We have the video.

We are going to show it to you in just a second. But I wanted to lead into that with a story from, I guess, it's KIPP Academy in Massachusetts. So there was a basketball, you can play the B-roll now, Ryan, if you want. There was a basketball, a girls basketball game in Massachusetts between KIPP Academy and Lao Collegiate Charter School. And over the course of the first half, three girls were injured by a trans identified male player for KIPP. So Lao Collegiate Charter School has three of their players go down, getting injured by this trans identified male player for KIPP Academy.

Three in one half. Now, this has caused quite the controversy. And I actually think it's worth getting into some of the details here.

So if you look at, let's go to 69 here, if you want to throw this up. This was Collegiate Charter School, Lao Collegiate Charter School, their statement. It says, and they released on February 16th, on February 8th, the coach of the Collegiate Charter School of Lao girls basketball team decided to end a game at halftime after watching a third player injured in the game with KIPP Academy. The bench was already depleted going into the game with the 12 player roster having four players unable to play.

OK, so they're down to eight. When the coach saw three more girls go down in the first half, leaving him with five players, he made the call to end the game early. The upcoming charter school playoffs were looming and he needed a healthy and robust bench in four days. Once the third player was injured, the remaining five expressed concern to him about continuing to play. The remaining five had to go to their coach and said, hey, we're we're worried about our health here because this dude is beating us up on the on the court.

The players feared getting injured and not being able to compete in the playoffs in an effort. Now, listen to the legalese here. This is where the the suits come in. In an effort to maintain safety for his team, he decided to forfeit the charter school, supports his decision and reiterates its values of both inclusivity and safety for all students. We take the standards set by the MIAA, which is the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association, or yes, Athletic Association and the board of trustees series and strive to uphold them on and off the court.

We also follow the guidance from the MIAA and state laws regarding equity and access for all student athletes. OK, so translation, we value safety of our students, but since that is incongruent with allowing trans identified male athletes to perform on the on the field, we were left in a conundrum and we had to quit the game because our kids were terrified. And this is the travesty of this story. The travesty is that the kids had to stand up for themselves because the adults refused to. Where were the dads? Where were the parents expressing outrage? No, they left it to the kids because they're cowards because they are cowards. And that is the tragic travesty of this story. I can't believe that this game was allowed to go on as long as it did. And I can't believe that Kip and Lau, the charter, put it on the children that were trying to compete on the on the court to fight for what is right and for their own safety. Instead, they allowed three of their players to get injured, all in trying to maintain Massachusetts state ideas of equity and inclusion. Those ideas are not congruous. They are not one of the same.

They fight against each other because you cannot keep female athletes safe on the field or on the court when you have trans identified male athletes attacking them and bullying them and running rough shot over them. It's it's an absolute farce. OK, Kirk fans, I need you to stop and pay attention to this. Breaking Overnight. Pastor John Amanchukwu took on a school board in New Jersey. And John Amanchukwu joins us now. Pastor, thank you for coming on. Hey, thank you so much, Andrew, for having me on the show.

Yeah, absolutely. Honored to have you. I'm going to play the clip and then you can tell us what exactly happened because I just watched this a couple minutes ago. And I saw Charlie tweeted out, Turning Point tweeted out. This is wild. And you get fired up.

That's one of my favorite parts. You get fired up, Pastor. So let's play Cut 63 and we'll take it from there. I didn't grow up in the 50s and the 60s in this country, a time frame where people who look like me couldn't get behind this electron and speak to a group of individuals that look like you. Go back to where you came from. Please. I have a right. I know you have a right. I have freedom of speech. You've already tried to defraud me and tell me that I can't reference this book, which I will live by and die by. Sir, sir, sir. I'm having my Rosa Parks moment.

The Bible says in Jeremiah 13, 23, can the Ethiopian change his skin? Or, my message is this message. How dare you tell me to give me my message? This is my message.

How dare you tell me that? That's my message. I didn't get my time. No, this is crazy. This is crazy.

Wow. Pastor, there's a lot to unpack there. So let's start with why you were there. What were you trying to accomplish?

And then what unfolded in the moments after? Well, I came to address the conversation as it relates to policy 5756, which much of the guidance of policy 5756 was put in place in 2017 under a failure of a governor, Governor Chris Christie. He was a failure then, and he's a failure today as well. But he started this slippery slope of allowing transgenders to gain access to bathrooms and classrooms as relates to receiving special treatment. Everyone should be treated equally, but he created an environment where transgenders receive special treatment. And so I went to speak at that school board meeting about that policy, and they ended up voting last night as well on that policy, and the board voted five to four to strike it down and to repeal it. That's a major victory.

So that's the reason why I came. Wow. Say that again. That's a massive victory, Pastor. So say the name of the policy started by our Republican colleague, Chris Christie.

Say it again, and then let's just give a moment to a praise report here. They struck it down. Yeah, so policy 5756, which is the transgender policy.

I'll give you some of the pertinent details of it. Section 2 says a school district shall accept a student's asserted gender identity. Parental consent is not required. So that means that the school system can create an environment where they keep secrets with an underage minor. So if a child goes to school and tells its guidance counselor that, hey, I'm a boy, but you know, I feel like I'm a girl. So don't call me Tom at school.

Call me Samantha. That meant that the teacher would agree to doing so and not notify the parent and tell the parent that, hey, your child is experiencing gender dysphoria. And I believe that whenever you create an atmosphere where there's secrecy between an adult and a child, that that is the springboard for pedophilia.

It opens it up. It creates an atmosphere and an environment where secrets can be kept amongst a minor and someone who is of age. And therefore, you never know what's taking place.

You never know what's being said. And parents are left in the dark. I can only imagine how I would respond if my child came home and told me, yeah, Dad, my son, yeah, Dad, I've been going by a different name for several months at school and the teachers didn't tell you.

You know, Andrew, I don't know how I would respond to that, but it wouldn't be good. And that's what we're doing in society today. We have these policies like this that are around the country and in the state of New Jersey where we're allowing teachers to keep secrets with children and it just needs to stop and it needs to end. And so they repealed that policy, policy 5756 yesterday. They struck it down.

We were all celebrating and excited about it. But listen, they did me the wrong way. They did me dirty.

I'm just going to make it plain. I received the Jim Crow 2.0 treatment from the moment I walked into the school board. I walked in, a lady says to me, who I don't even know, hey, pastor, how was the flight? You know, as if she knew that I flew in and I guess she researched me and found out my details and all the good stuff and she started sharing more things to me about my personal life.

And I asked her a question and she wouldn't respond. And then when I finally get a chance to speak while waiting in the line, I have several people who are heckling me, telling me to go back where you come from. We don't want you here.

We don't like your kind. Things like that were stated to me while I was waiting in line. And when I got up to the microphone to speak, you know, I'm told that I can't talk about religion and I can't talk about my faith. And that is a clear infringement upon 1A, my rights of freedom of speech. I have a right to talk about my faith. I have a right to talk about my religion. I have a right to be a Christian. You know, oftentimes people say today that transgenders are under attack. That's not true.

Transgenders are not under attack. Truth is under attack. The Bible, this book right here, this same book that I held at that lectern in New Jersey.

I'm back in North Carolina now. I'm holding the book again. I will not separate myself from this book because I have what you call a biblical worldview.

I see the world through the lenses of scripture. And when I get up to speak, you can't expect a pastor to not reference the Bible. And that's what I did. And I had a right to do so. But they shut me down from the beginning telling me that I couldn't do it.

I did it anyway. And then they started heckling me and the crowd did. The school board chair is saying, yeah, you can't mention the Bible.

You can't say anything about your faith. And from there, it just all goes downhill. And then you see three officers walk over to me and they're within maybe two or three feet of me. And they're telling me that I need to wrap it up and go to my seat and or leave. I mean, who receives that kind of treatment at a school board meeting? You know, I flew in.

Of course, yes, I did. I didn't come simply because I wanted to come. I was asked to come. I have parents around the country who call me, who send me emails and say, hey, Pastor John, we need your help because we are afraid to speak up because we might get targeted. And so I don't want my child to be targeted.

I don't want my family to be targeted. We don't want to be doxed. And you come in and speak for us.

That's why I came. But guess what? It's okay when a black liberal spreads the talking points of the Democrat Party. But when a black Christian conservative shows up, you might receive what I call the Jim Crow 2.0 treatment. Well, they treat you in a disgusting, hateful way.

And that's what I encountered last night. And while I'm at it, I want to tell you this as well, that I've had conversations today with two lawyers. And I'm looking at all of my options on what I need to do to make sure that what happened to me in New Jersey, in Old Bridge, New Jersey, doesn't happen to any other Christian ever in the history of America. Good for you, Pastor.

I'm glad you're going to absolutely and you know we'll have your back on that and support you in whatever way you need. What was their rationale for saying that you couldn't reference Scripture? Just a minute here, Pastor, that we have left in this segment. How could you possibly say that to somebody and think that that's okay to say it? Well, Andrew, it's okay to say that to a Christian, right? In this current anti-Christ society and environment, you can say that to a Christian. But you better not say that to a Muslim.

That's right. If I walked up there with the Quran and read from it last night, there would have been no issue and no problem. But for those who name the name of Christ, society hates us. And this is a plan that has been taking place for a long time through the New Age movement, through Alice Bailey, through many of these Marxist, communist, atheist principles that are being pushed upon our country. They hate this book. And so they want to separate children from truth and reality.

And by doing so, they have to strip society and the public school system of God's word, God's truth and order. But I'm not going for it. I am willing to go to as many school board meetings as possible. I'm going to nearly 20 this year alongside TPULSA faith. And I'm going to speak up. I'm going to stand up.

The Bible says, Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against God. For years, I've been talking about how our nation's public schools have been captured by progressive ideologues, especially true of your Christian family. For those of you worried about the best educational path for your kids and grandkids, I want to tell you about how Turning Point Academy is working with the Herzog Foundation, how you at home can also benefit from it. They have an online publication called The Lion and also Making the Leap. The Herzog Foundation offers a wide range of advice and information for Christian parents to make the best education decisions for your kids. Go to HerzogFoundation.com. That is HerzogFoundation.com.

So check it out right now. HerzogFoundation.com. Portions of The Charlie Kirk Show are brought to you in part by the Stanley M Herzog Foundation.

That is HerzogFoundation.com. Pastor, we're talking about getting involved in the public school system, but in the public sphere, the public square. And that's something that terrifies the left.

Okay, so I want to play this clip from Joy Reed. And I want to hear your response to this because this idea that our faith would inform our political activism and our political involvement terrifies them. And they're trying to make a boogeyman out of this expression called Christian nationalism.

Play Cup 54. He also wants to dismantle the Department of Education, enforce Florida style patriotic education in our schools, and federal funding of any schools that mentioned so-called critical race theory, gender ideology, or what people like Stephen Miller determined to be inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content. They intend to force children to learn about their version of the nuclear family, including the roles of mothers and fathers and things that make men and women different and unique. That's what our kids will learn in Trump's Christian nationalist public schools. Pastor, what's your reaction to seeing a clip like that from Joy Reed? Joy typically has a mental breakdown every two to three days. And it's just sad to witness her constantly have a meltdown, have a mental breakdown over the fact that an American might choose to be patriotic.

I mean, what's the opposite? What should we do? Should we just hate the country? Should we seek to burn it down like BLM in the summer of 2020? Should we walk around hating people that don't look like us for no reason? Joy Reed loves to gas light, but she is the epitome of cultural appropriation. She hates white people, but she walks around wearing a blonde wig.

And I've never met a black woman who has blonde hair. Joy Reed is a fool to be honest. But at the end of the day, even to take it further, Romans chapter one, verse 30 talks about haters of God.

And that's what we're dealing with. These people hate God. They hate America. They hate the Constitution. They hate law and order. They hate truth. You know, the people who talk about hate speech and not hating, they hate the most. And so what we need to do with people like Joy Reed is just, you know, tune her out, not listen to her fledgling show and pay her no mind because the black Americans that I know don't even listen to Joy Reed. They don't give her a thought as they make their everyday decisions.

She's a non-factor. You know what strikes me, and just the two minutes we have remaining, and again, thank you for your time, Pastor. It was a 5-4 decision. You won. We won. And I'm grateful to you for what you did. Should have been nine to nothing.

Should have been 9-0. And there is an agenda to separate the parents and the values that we give to our children, the history that we impart to them, and the traditions. There is an age-old Marxist playbook tradition to break the parent from the child. In just two minutes, we have remaining, Pastor.

Tell us about that. Well, the Bible tells us in Proverbs 22, 6 to train up a child in the way that he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. In other words, the Bible teaches us to catechize.

That means to train, to question through the Socratic method, to engage that child and to ask them pointed questions, to develop their inductive and deductive reasoning so that they can become lifelong biblical learners and learners in general. That is the role of the parent. But there is this tug of war between the parent and the state. The state says, no, it's my child. The parent says, no, it's my child. And so we're now in an impasse, but many parents today are not aware that the state thinks that they own their kid.

Many parents drop their kids off at school, pick them up at the end of the day. They don't ask them questions on, you know, simple things of what happened today. What took place? What did you learn? Did something take place that you liked, that you liked?

Did something take place that you disliked? You know, the simple basic questions that parents should ask a child. They go home. They don't sit around the dinner table. They don't have prayer before they eat.

There's no reflection time. So therefore, the state becomes the mediator between the parent and God. And so therefore, the state develops the heart of the child and begins to categorize the child itself. And that's where we have many of the issues that we experience today. We're in trouble. Pastor, thank you so much again for your work. Honored to be working with you. For more on many of these stories and news you can trust, go to CharlieKirk.com
