The U.S. government has had many budget showdowns over the past ten years. The one coming up on September 30 isn't the first, and it isn't the largest, but it could be the most important. Charlie explains why “the opening kick of the 2024 election" could also be the climax of a 110-year-long war between centralized power in Washington and the American people. He also responds to events in New York City, where Eric Adams is breaking the rules by admitting that Biden's migrant flood isn't just a burden...it could destroy the city forever.

We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country. That's why we are here.

Brought to you by the loan experts I trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandtodd.com. Full disclaimer, I will be watching NFL football tonight. I don't like it.

They're a little too wokey for me. I just like football too much. I think it's the Chiefs and the Lions. Don't sleep on the Lions, everybody.

I'll tell you, they want it bad. So as tonight NFL football begins, and it is the kickoff, if you will, of the NFL season, there's also another kickoff. You know, we asked, Charlie, what about the 2024 election? The 2024 election is about a year and a way.

No, no, no. It's happening right now, obviously, but there's a very, very important fight looming in real time right now. I believe it is the opening kick of the 2024 election.

It's 930, September 30th. The federal government needs to pass a short-term funding bill by September 30th, or there will be a government shutdown. Now, you may or may not remember this, but you remember about a year and a half ago, there was a massive bill that was passed, a huge bill, not a year. It was voted on by Senator Shelby from Alabama. He was the chief person who brought this forward, where they basically robbed the House of Representatives, the incoming class, it was about 10 months ago, of their ability to negotiate the budget, where they kicked it all the way to this date, September 30th. So the federal government needs to pass a short-term funding bill by September 30th.

The Biden regime is asking that in addition to all the normal stuff, that Congress adds $44 billion on top of that in emergency spending, $16 billion for FEMA, $24 billion for Ukraine, on top of the $200 billion already spent on Ukraine. But the most important thing is this, is that we're seeing in real time the destruction, the erosion, the shredding of the United States Constitution. We see Jack Smith, an out-of-control rogue prosecutor, Merrick Garland, the Department of Justice, we see the number one political opponent to the regime who is beating him in the polls.

Fact, he's beating him in the polls, whether they're truth polls or not, it's just fact, he's beating him in the polls, facing 500 years in federal prison. Many people are asking, Charlie, what can we do? What can we do? What can we do? How do we fight? How do we push back against? How do we fight? Well, the 30th of September is a day where we can fight. It's a day where we can draw a line in the sand and we can defund the deep state. We have the House of Representatives. We have a majority.

Now, I'm going to say something that is a little bit, not unpopular, but it's different. I fully support the impeachment of Joe Biden. In fact, we should have done it three or four months ago. But I actually think defunding these agencies should be a bigger priority than the impeachment of Joe Biden. I'm not saying that we shouldn't impeach Joe Biden, but I actually think a more effective way to make long lasting change, a more effective way to use the political power that the people gave the Republican majority is to defang the tyrants, is to go after these agencies.

Now, let's play this out for a second. Joe Biden is a traitor to the nation, so I think that we should pass a clean impeachment resolution, send it to the Senate, but I don't think we should spend too much time on it. I think that's very valuable time to go and impeach and investigate a guy that we already know who is an outright criminal. He's a traitor.

He should be in Gitmo in federal prison for the rest of his life, as is his son. But does that have long lasting change? Wouldn't it be more effective to tell the FBI you don't get your new building? You have to reduce your headcount by 20 or 30 percent. Tell the Department of Defense you're not allowed to have gay poems on aircraft carriers anymore, that trans whatever individuals are not going to be allowed in the military.

Isn't this a more effective way? And the most important one that's obviously staring us in the face, Department of Justice. Are we going to keep on funding Merrick Garland? Will we have the leverage and we have the ability to say no? Now, the bad guys, the Democrats and the party Republicans, they want a clean resolution, a clean CR. Well, time out here.

Hold on. You guys are going after every potential political dissident. Steve Bannon, twelve hundred January six defendants.

You're weaponizing the entire government and we're sitting there and taking it. And we've been saying on this program time and time again, well, where are the Republican A.G.s? Answer, not around. Not interested in doing anything bold or courageous. Where are the Republican D.A.s? They're not interested.

They do not want to do anything bold or courageous. So how do we end this abuse? Now, understand this is not standard politics. This is a crisis. And in a crisis, we should act differently than we normally do.

The one way we have to actually act at a federal level is for the House not to fund what Biden needs. So focus directly on five or six. Don't ask for the whole world. You're not going to get the world, but identify five or six of the Soviet Gestapo pressure points of the regime.

Star of the beast. All funding must start in the House, period. Nothing the Biden regime does can happen without the House GOP offering up money for them to do it. Now, we should not fund a single dollar to Ukraine. But if we're thinking realistically, they're going to figure out some way to get Ukrainian funding. So if we were smart, we'd say, OK, they really want Ukraine funding.

Use that as leverage then. Say, OK, so you really want Ukraine funding. Then there has to be border wall, border security.

But more important than all of that, it is the lack of funding that we have to draw the line on. You don't get Jack Smith. You want Zelensky? No Jack Smith.

And they'll say, well, you're going to shut down the government. OK. You want Zelensky? No Jack Smith. That's a popular position.

And by the way, if you pick the fights, you can win. Majority of people are not in favor of the criminalization of Donald Trump. Jack Smith is the bright line. No Jack Smith, period. Jack Smith and his entire operation.

Now, this is an interesting question, Blake and the team. Is Jack Smith an essential government worker or not, if there was a shutdown? If we shut down the government, does that mean that Jack Smith and his team would still be operating? Now, again, one of the most frustrating things we go through every time there's a government shutdown is all of a sudden they say, well, these are essential and not essential government workers. If they're not essential, why do they have jobs?

If they're not essential, why do they operate? Now, under Bob Mueller, when Bob Mueller was a special counsel, his office continued to work in the event of a government shutdown. OK. But even beyond a government shutdown, we need to defund Jack Smith, line item Jack Smith, carve it out and say, Jack Smith, you do not get another penny of U.S. taxpayer dollars, period. That's a good way to end Jack Smith. And the House Republicans have the entire ability to do that. We need to find the parts of the deep state that are grinding the American people to a halt. And it goes to the FBI, the DOJ, DHS, isolate them and starve that beast. And you're not going to get the entire budget down to zero.

So get even more particular. Again, Congress, they don't do their job, unfortunately. So find Jack Smith's budget, which by the way, Jack Smith's budget is probably like 15 million dollars, like maybe, maybe, maybe like nine million dollars. And you could say in the funding resolution, you're done.

Your team no longer authorized. These agencies have to go to Congress for money. And on the 30th of September, it is all bubbling up. Matt Gaetz and Andy Ogles have introduced similar pieces of legislation to deny federal funding for the special counsel. This is the line, everybody. We will not put up with our funding, our money to a Democrat super PAC, which is what Jack Smith has become. Jack Smith is a Democrat super PAC operator with subpoena power and the ability to put people in prison with handcuffs. Shut down the government over this, over the very specific principled stand. You go after Donald Trump and try to put him in 500 years in federal prison. The government's getting shut down.

That would be hardball. I want to tell you guys about Good Ranchers. You heard me talk about it before, but it's new and improved Good Ranchers. If we go back to the roots of the Constitution, this is exactly why Congress is supposed to have the power of the purse. You are in the midst of a 110 year war. A hundred and ten years ago, Woodrow Wilson became president of the United States in 1913. Woodrow Wilson won with a plurality, not a majority of votes. That's fine.

Obviously our system allows for that. Teddy Roosevelt ran under the Bull Moose Party. William Howard Taft was the incumbent Republican president. And Woodrow Wilson won.

He was a former Princeton professor, governor of New Jersey, Hegelian. He was the first American president to wage war on the promise of the American founding. He said we need to have this administrative state that is above politics, above the administration of politics. Basically the argument he made is that as we advance in technology and times, that why do we have these old systems, this old form of the Bill of Rights and consent to the governed and checks and balances. Woodrow Wilson was the first president to put forward the system that we know as the modern administrative state, the modern deep state, the very same deep state that probably killed Kennedy, that replaced Richard Nixon, that spied on Donald Trump, that tried to remove Donald Trump, that impeached him twice.

This idea that there is a super government over the sovereign, the people. FDR largely grew this Leviathan, this deep state. LBJ grew it. George Herbert Walker Bush grew it. George W. Bush grew it. Barack Obama grew it.

And then Donald Trump comes and they targeted him. Because he was not a globalist. And remember, Woodrow Wilson tried to create the League of Nations even in 1915, 1916, 1917.

Woodrow Wilson got so much damage done to this country, income tax, Federal Reserve Act, getting rid of the direct election of senators, all these different things. But now you are living through a 110 year war. Most Americans were not aware that you were not living in a constitutional republic. You were living in a completely different form of government. The structure of our government has actually been different where you have this fourth branch of government that is unelected with unknown amounts of power and unchecked. And it's a super government.

We call it the Leviathan, the Uniparty, the Regime, the Insiders. They're unelected, unchecked, and incredibly arrogant. And Congress has not done their job in the last 110 years. Because they either benefit from this fourth branch of government or they're afraid of the fourth branch of government. J. Edgar Hoover used the fourth branch of government to spy on members of Congress, to blackmail members of Congress.

The FBI has continued in that tradition in many certain different ways. So members of Congress are afraid to ever pick fights against this beast. Donald Trump is not afraid of that. One of the reasons why they have to try to put him in prison for 500 years.

It's because he's identified this snake, this serpent, this beast, this machine that has been completely and totally unchecked. So now you are living through the 110-year climax of that project. So literally on September 30th, you have an opportunity, we have an opportunity, the House of Republicans have an opportunity, and they have a mandate from their voters, by the way, to win in what is this great collision.

September 30th is a 110-year moment from Woodrow Wilson to September 30th. On 9-30, it could be one of the most important steps to defang the beast. And we're not even getting into some of just the other ridiculous nonsense that the Leviathan does. We're not even going to touch the IRS stuff. We're not even going to touch the Department of Interior that goes after people's lands and mineral rights.

We're not going to talk about, there's so many other aspects that we could defang. We're talking about a surgical strike against this 110-year beast. This multi-generational siege on the American Constitution. So what does that surgical strike look like legislatively?

Jack Smith. Let's make sure we repeat the most obvious and critical thing. Joe Biden is prosecuting his chief political foe. This has never happened before in American history, and it's only able to happen because of the 110-year war. It's been a 110-year war from Woodrow Wilson in 1913 to today that they've just basically never had anyone ask questions. Eisenhower warned you about this.

We'll get that tape afterwards, and they kind of bulldozed it. Reagan warned about it, but he didn't really have the people around him to defang it properly. H.W. Bush was a believer in such Leviathan.

George W. Bush was a believer in that deep state apparatus. So we can do happy talk. We can do clean resolutions. Or the House Republicans can realize that whether through fate, fortune, luck, or serendipity, they're sitting in a position that a 110-year collision is going to play out on September 30th.

We're going to talk about what that looks like, the action items. Will House Republicans seize this once-in-a-century opportunity? Hey, everybody.

Charlie Kirk here. I'll tell you who the unsung heroes of COVID are. Of course, the frontline workers. But what about those business owners who hung in there and paid their employees? If you stayed open and paid your people, you could be eligible for up to $26,000 per employee at covidtaxrelief.org. $26,000 per employee, this is not a loan. There are government funds you don't have to pay back. All types of businesses, including nonprofits and churches, can be eligible, but you need to apply now because Congress may pull back these funds.

Go to covidtaxrelief.org. It has helped tens of thousands of businesses just like yours secure over $500 million. Unlike the others, they charge nothing, zero up front.

They do all the work and share a percentage of the cash that they get you. You did the tough thing for your employees. Let covidtaxrelief.org help you get up to $26,000 per employee. Go to covidtaxrelief.org. That is covidtaxrelief.org. covidtaxrelief.org help you get up to $26,000 per employee. You pay nothing up front.

They do all the work and you share a percentage of the cash they get you. covidtaxrelief.org. We've played this piece of tape frequently, but it's worthy repeating. A great man who is a general, a non-politician who became president, in his farewell address or a series of farewell addresses, he warned us about the very war that we are experiencing, this 110-year war that is coming to a collision, coming to a crescendo, coming to a climax. Of course, President Dwight D. Eisenhower, he's most famously known as warning us about the military-industrial complex, but he also warned about an unelected tyranny of the scientific elite. What Dwight D. Eisenhower was basically cautioning us is that this structure, the United States Constitution, my handy-dandy Turning Point USA Constitution, it's no longer actually in practice that there's a separate form that is taking place.

Play cut 53. In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.

You think about that. A farewell address usually you say, here's all the things we did in our administration, our best days are ahead, and Dwight D. Eisenhower uses his farewell address to caution the American people about the Leviathan. That very Leviathan is the one that is going after Donald Trump, 500 years in federal prison. The very Leviathan is the one that likely killed JFK, in my personal opinion. The very one that took out Richard Nixon because he was way too popular.

He wins 49 states, probably the same Leviathan that killed Bobby Kennedy, the same Leviathan that was involved in spying on Martin Luther King and displacing Malcolm X and the Black Panthers. That very same unelected group of bureaucrats directed by J. Edgar Hoover, directed by George H. W. Bush, the people that were the spokespeople for the fourth branch of government, the unelected. And why is it now that this is coming to a crescendo on September 30th? It's because Congress has not done their job for basically 110 years. It's not the first time we've had a funding fight. The government shut down with Newt Gingrich and Bill Clinton, but they shut down over spending stuff. The government shut down for a month with Chuck U. Schumer and Donald Trump.

Remember Chuck Schumer comes in and Donald Trump berated him like a dog? It was all over the border wall. Now those are very important things. We're spending too much, we have to get back to fiscal discipline, we're going to have a $2 trillion deficit, it's reprehensible. We're talking about something that is actually even more important than all of this. We're talking about the idea of, can you destroy an election? Personally, I don't like this idea, I keep hearing it interfering, interfering, interfering.

Let's be more clear. They are destroying an election. They are eliminating an election. That's what this is, is that you don't get to have elections. They're demolishing the election. We are promised elections in the United States Constitution. The deep state, the fourth branch of government, doesn't want the people to be able to have the voice.

So it's all coming to a head on September 30th. And Republicans have enough power to do something about this. Now a fair amount of you are emailing us freedom at charliekirk.com. Charlie, Republicans won't do anything, they will cower in fear.

You might be right, in fact you're probably right. But that does not mean we should not set the standard, ask for the order, and put as much grassroots pressure as possible. This is not a tough ask, it's very simple.

No Jacksman. No special counsel. DOJ, it's not going to happen. Congress controls the purse. Congress controls the authorization of the money.

And now it's coming down to the money. You think about it, who checks who? Congress is supposed to have the check and balance over these agencies.

Over the EPA, over the IRS, over the SEC, over DOJ, over DHS. So why would we subsidize our political abusers? It's really sadistic when you think about it. It's like, here's more money to imprison my political party. So we're basically subsidizing weapons that are aimed against us. Like we're gun running our own death. That's exactly what the House Republicans are faced with. Now, if we were to be even more bold, if we had an actual political party, that was an opposition party, not a controlled opposition party, we would say, no new building, FBI.

You have to reduce your head count by 30 or 40 percent. We would go after Merrick Garland. I mean, these are important things that we would be doing. But we're not.

So let's just focus on Jacksman. Is this this unrealistic? I want you to imagine if Donald Trump was president and there was a special counsel that was appointed by Bill Barr that was actively looking in to a major presidential candidate of their choosing or their liking. How do you think Democrats would respond? Democrats would defund this in a second. They wouldn't put up with this.

So why is it that Democrats mean business and our side runs for the hills? The regime is indicting a former president. The regime is targeting moms and parents at school boards. The regime is forcing LGBTQI plus woke garbage on our kids, colleges and military.

The regime has turned federal agencies into get out the vote centers for the Democrat Party. The regime is funneling hundreds of billions of dollars into a quagmire to corrupt Ukraine. The regime is forcing Russia into China's hands and the expansion of BRICS. The regime is fueling a de-dollarization campaign movement globally to decouple from the US dollar. The regime is enabling millions of illegals to invade America. In fact, Joe Biden will probably be on pace to let in a 10 million border jumpers and criminals into the country.

10 million. The regime is targeting pro-life activists and turning a blind eye to Antifa and BLM. There's over 1,250 people that are going to prison over January 6.

The vast majority of them were peaceful demonstrators. The regime is obstructing investigations into Joe and Hunter Biden's foreign influence peddling schemes. The regime is an existential threat to our norms and customs that have safeguarded America for centuries. And so now we have in front of us a tool where we can say you're done. The deep state has to keep on coming back to Congress for more money. Well, you the people gave Republicans a majority. So we should say you don't get any more money. Game over.

You do not get to continue to do this. Now some people say, well, Charlie, if we do this, then we're going to shut down the government and then we're going to lose in the election next year. I look at it completely differently. If we don't fight, our voters will not keep on giving you power. People say, well, Charlie, it's bad politically.

First of all, it's not bad politically. Secondly, how many times have I heard I've been doing this for 11 years? Not a ton of time, but you can see a lot in 11 years. I have heard repeatedly, Charlie, we just have to punt and then we can fight in the next cycle. We just have to punt and then we can fight in the next cycle. I'm done punting. Time to go forward on fourth down. I'm done. If there has ever been a time where the stakes are super high, how about when the former president is facing 500 years in federal prison?

Maybe that's the time to fight. But some Republicans say, well, in my district, I polled it and my constituents don't really want a government shutdown. Why do you run for office if you're constantly always focused on rerunning for office? Is it about the Shoford cars and perks and insider lobbyist deals?

Or is it maybe about doing the right thing? You are in Washington, D.C., allegedly to do something, not just be something. I could divide the House Republicans into two categories. Those people that want to be something, these are people that wanted to be prom king in high school. These are people that enjoy dressing up in suits. They're quasi-narcissists. They're fixated on the title of congressman. They like feeling important. They like going to cocktail parties. They enjoy the high life. That's like Lady Graham, the turtle, Mitt Romney, prom king.

And then there are people that go to do something. Rand Paul is there to do something. He hates being a senator. That's why I love him. You talk to him. He's like, I hate this.

This drives me crazy. I like you. Josh Hawley, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz, Senator Ron Johnson. My mark of whether or not I like you as a politician is how annoyed are you that you are a politician? If you're like constantly annoyed that you're a politician, I like you a lot. When I ask some of these politicians, how's it going? It's going great. Things are good.

Campaign account is full. Lobbyists give me approval. Deep State smiles as I walk by. We have enough fighters. And here's the key, everybody. There's this looming House Freedom Caucus movement that they're willing to go scorched earth. They're willing to go Dresden on this.

And I got to be honest, I'm very sympathetic towards that. Has there ever been a higher stakes time? I've been waiting my entire adult life for House Republicans to finally stand up to the deep state, to finally stand up against the beast. We've been hearing excuses for 110 years.

And history is here. Are we going to punt? Are we going to delay? Are we going to make excuses?

Are we going to stand up with courage, fortitude, and a spine against the beast? Hey, everybody. Mike Lindell has a passion to help you get the best sleep of your life. He didn't stop at the pillow. So New York City is allegedly the sanctuary city-state, and now they're complaining that there's too many vigilantes coming into their city. The issue will destroy New York City. They're at 110,000 illegals in New York. Now, if we were a real country, we would deport every single one of them back to the country they came from. Back to Honduras, back to Nicaragua, back to Mexico, sayonara.

But people say, but my, my compassion. Yeah. It's gotten so bad, even the leaders of the Democrat strongholds like New York City and Massachusetts are throwing in the towel. They can't handle the strain and the massive influx of people had in their city or state.

And Joe Biden obviously has created this. The Biden regime has kept the borders completely wide open. They're on pace for 10 million new illegals and vigilantes waltzing into our country. Texas has tried to build a barrier in the river, and a federal judge has come down and said, oh, Texas, you're not allowed to do that. Texas should tell the federal judge, we're going to ignore your court order. We are being invaded every single day. We are being invaded every single day.

Eric Adams says this, play cut 55. This is horrific when you think about what the governor is doing, the governor of Texas, after a month of traveling across the border, placing on the bus with no direction to come here to New York. And New York is a city that has always represented the democratic values and the values of our city of showing our compassion. And that's what we're doing today. You know, I'm proud that this is a right to shelter state and we're going to continue to do that. So that's Eric Adams in 2022, who says, hey, all the vigilantes, all the criminals, all the lowlifes, because that's what they are, lowlifes coming into our country, breaking the law. Coming in and saying they're welcome and look how different it sounds.

Play cut 52. We're getting no support on this national crisis and we're receiving no support. And let me tell you something, New Yorkers. Never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an end to. I don't see an end to this.

I don't see an end to this. This issue will destroy New York City. Destroy New York City. This issue will destroy New York City. Well, yeah, obviously everything the left enforces will destroy itself. They don't build anything.

They just destroy. Our home state of Arizona, we've had to we have to bring in millions of criminals. We have to allow millions of these border jumpers. And New York City can't take one hundred thousand in, very similar to the Visigoths, like the border jumpers that destroyed Rome. They come in and they take jobs, they take benefits, they take welfare. Now, are Democrats indeed waking up? I don't know.

This, you know, some easy take is, oh, you know, blue states have to suffer. These are our fellow American cities. I don't like I don't delight in this. I don't rejoice in this.

I don't celebrate it. Yeah, we warned them it's going to destroy New York City even further. And then they're all going to become Democrat voters and have anchor babies and get citizenship. It's sad is what it is. And there will be no end in sight.

The entire third world is moving into America. And the Democrats want that. They rejoice in this. For them, this is a huge success. I don't care if Eric Adams is speaking out against it. And again, all their arguments are arguments of infrastructure.

We don't have enough hotel rooms. That's not the point. The point is these are lawless border jumpers. They broke the law. They're breaking and entering into America. So New York City is now going to have to go through a very painful, painful chapter. Ten thousand people a month.

And they're acting as if, oh, this is terrible. I mean, would you like to come for a little bit of a car ride in Maricopa County? Would you like – I could go show you around. I can show you the hotel where they housed the border jumpers right down the street. You want to go on a little ride in Pima County? You want to go for a ride in Texas to see what's really happening, where Border Patrol has direct orders from the traitor Mayorkas to do nothing?

I used to love New York City. It's an unrecognizable city, but that's what the left does. They're parasites. The left are cockroaches. They just take things over. They don't build anything. They take stuff over and they destroy it. New York City is well on its way.

We're redoubling our efforts to beat back the radical left's attacks on your constitutional religious freedoms and to defend the sanctity of human life. This is your moment to get in the fight.

Every tax-deductible gift will be doubled. Go to ACLJ.org right now and join us in the fight.
