I give our talent to be used for his glory. The Bible reads in Romans 1129 for the gifts and callings of God are without repentance. This means God did not make a mistake when he gave his gift to you. Even if we are in disobedience and not listen to God or even if we are not serving God as we should.
That gift from God is still in us. God does not hit himself in the front of his head like the guy in the VA commercial when the guy says I know I could've had a V-8 doesn't say oh no, I shouldn't have given that gift to him or her.
God doesn't say oh no, I have made a terrible mistake when God chooses us to work in a ministry and to do his will. God already knows what gifts are talents we will need to face whatever challenges we have, because of the gift given to us by God. We will be victorious when we decide to serve God and to do according to God's will. There is nothing wrong with exchanging gifts and presents on the holidays but the greatest gift we can give each other is to share Jesus and the love of God always remember God's gift to us is the life God gave us in our gift to God is what we do with our lives.
