Indeed.com slash BWN. Terms and conditions apply. Good morning, everybody. I'm Bart Winkler. This is Valentine's weekend 2025, All-Star weekend 2025, Daytona weekend 2025, Captain America Brave New World weekend 2025. I want to give a few spoiler-free thoughts on that here to start. And then what I'm going to do, and this is cheating in a way.

This is very Doug Russell of me. But I'm going to take audio I did and package it as a podcast. And I'm doing that because I was going to just re-record a podcast, but I've already done the audio.

And I want to share it on this platform. And I don't want to do it all over. Like, I don't want to say it all over again. Plus, I had someone to riff off of, which I always like. I filled in for Sparky on 1250 AM, 105.7 if I'm the fan, on Friday. So a busy week for ya boy. Good busy. And Tommy Wertz was with me.

Tommy does the producing for Mason Crosby's show, Andy Herman's show, and he hosts on the weekend as well. So we talked about a couple of different things that I wanted to highlight. A conversation about where Aaron Rodgers should go. I talked about Aaron Rodgers without calling him a petulant child or a jerk or a diva or misguided.

I didn't say any of that stuff. Really, I think what it comes down to is, in terms of his playing career, I think he should play in Minnesota. I think he should follow Brett Favre. That would be the best case scenario for him. Now, is it best case scenario for the Vikings? Depends what they do with Sam Darnold. I did see a report, I think it was Adam Schefter had said it, and it's really stuck with me, that Vegas really, really, really, really, really wants Sam Darnold. So if there's a way to possibly get him, that could happen.

And if that happens, are the Vikings going to roll out with J.J. McCarthy right away, or do they bring in Aaron Rodgers for a year? We'll talk about that. I talked about that with Tommy. And what's cool about that is, and what's different about this episode, is I was able to talk to some of the people who I've talked to a long time ago, but not necessarily on the podcast. Dave from Cudahy joins as well as a phone call. And he called when we were talking about Chris Middleton. So as I was doing the show Friday the 14th, Chris Middleton had called, wait, Chris Middleton had put out a message. He called into the show, it was great, I'm going to play it for you here. No, but he put out a message that he wanted to say thank you. It was a thank you message, he put out a message, he wanted to say thank you, and it was a nice message.

And I read it, and then I read the message he didn't send. So stick around for all that, it should be very, very fun. So that's what this episode will have. I thought about doing an all-star game recap.

No Giannis though, no Dame, plus my kids got off Monday. So I wanted to get out a podcast here this weekend, and then we'll come back with mhm and mhm next week, and I'll try to do something else. It's kind of a dead week, but we'll find a way.

Where there's a will, there is a way. Quickly on Captain America, this is spoiler free. I mean it's 99.5% spoiler free. All I'm going to say is that it followed up on some previous movies, and you expect that from Marvel. Some of the reviews that I've seen were very strongly worded against Marvel.

The reviews from the audience are better than the reviews from critics. Because if you're going to review a Marvel movie these days, here's a spoiler, Tony Stark's not in it. There's a lot of people that just shit on these movies when Iron Man's not in it.

Or they shit on these movies when it's a lead that's not Chris Hemsworth or Chris Evans or Robert Downey Jr. People like them. And I read one review online where this guy's just bitching about the preachiness of this movie. This movie is not preachy. Captain America Brave New World is not preachy.

The reviews have become more preachy than the actual movie. This is a movie that if you see, it's good. It's a good movie. Is it the best movie I've ever seen?

Of course not. It's a movie that's going to play well like Saturday morning's TNT. Oh, I'll watch this. I remember this.

I like this. If you're doing a rewatch of Marvel, I think you do watch this movie. And I like when they continue to world build.

There were some plot lines that just got left for dust and they revisited them. The whole reason I got into Marvel, I wasn't big into comics. I was big into world building. I like the interconnectivity. Even if it's just a faint reference, I go goo goo for Gaga.

Cuckoo for Coco. I love it. I love the world building. Nothing I like better on a growing up than when like Sam Malone came to visit Frazier in Seattle. I watched Cheers.

I didn't watch Frazier, but I sure as hell watched Frazier when one of the Cheers people showed up. I love that. I love that stuff. So got really into Marvel and have enjoyed it. I want to like the movies.

I always want to like them. And I like this one. I would tell you to see it. I would say. You know, don't have the most highest expectations ever, but it's also it's not bad. It's a six and a half out of 10. Is that good enough?

I don't know. I liked it. The only times I didn't enjoyed this movie is when I saw the reviews prior and after.

While sitting down and watching the movie, I enjoyed the movie. The post credit scene is bullshit. It's garbage.

It's worthless. I saw people try to justify it. It's not. It's not. It's it could have been.

This post credit scene could have been any two characters. After any other movie. So I wouldn't stick around for it, I would leave and then look it up online just to know what it was. But I would see the movie. I would see the movie. I'll probably give it a quick rewatch when it comes out on Disney Plus, which I have not yet done for Deadpool and Wolverine. Maybe it's because I've seen a lot of the clips online anyway again, but I thought, you know, normally when they come out, I rewatch it right away. I go to the theater and then the first day on Disney Disney Plus, I watch it. I did do that for the Marvels.

I did. I like the Marvels. That new Spider-Man cartoon, too, on Disney Plus is very good.

And of course, Severance is the greatest show to ever exist. So the review is it is not bad. It is not great. It is good.

Good movie. And then you can go on living your life and not have to make hating Marvel your personality. It's okay for people to like things.

Nothing is perfect. Could you imagine if people reviewed my shit the way that they review Marvel? Bart's gone woke. Well, I kind of did for a while. I mean, I still am, but.

Not as overtly. So that's my Captain America review. All Star Game coming up this weekend. I'm upset about the format, but I'll give it a try. I am excited for Daytona just because I like having racing on racing to me like the Dallas Cowboys. I don't like the Dallas Cowboys. I'm not a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. I don't really like NASCAR. I'm not a fan of NASCAR, but I like when it's on and I will watch it if that makes sense. The thing I'm most jacked for is SNL 50. I like when they do that. SNL 40 was great. Excited for SNL 50.

So that's a brief review of Captain America. Other than that, Brewers, Brandon Woodruff's on the mound. He's pitching. I hope to see him back relatively soon.

It's pretty exciting stuff. I don't know what the Brewers are going to look like. My main Brewers take has been and I've done this before, but we need to root for the Dodgers to win seven straight World Series. Because baseball has been a group of halves and have nots. There's been about seven, eight halves.

Twenty twenty five have nots. Do the math. When the poor people are mad that the rich people get everything, nothing changes. When the rich people are mad that one super rich guy gets everything, they want change.

Will it trickle down to the pours? I don't know. But that's the shtick I'm going to be running with for a while. I would love for the Brewers to win a World Series. I've talked about this plenty of times. I'm I'm I don't think it's ever going to happen, but I have made peace with that. You know, you you make peace as you get a little older. And I have made peace with that. This audio is not out on video. It is a audio only podcast.

But I bring that up because I am recording it while I can see the video. And I got my shoveling gear on. I'm going to go snow blow here in a minute. And I always thought the Home Alone character I looked like was Marv. With the big beard, but I'm wearing no hat and I look like the.

I look like the neighbor with the shovel. I might have to go for him as Halloween. It's a very obscure one, but I think I'm going to do it. I wonder who will get that. This year, I went as John Hammond, Jurassic Park. Not as many people knew as I would have hoped. Oh, yeah, I'm definitely going to shovel guy.

I'm just looking at my thinning hair. Now I'm kind of pumped for Halloween. We're brought to you by Happy Place. And promo code is Bart. Twenty five percent off each and every order.

Twenty five percent each and every order. The gummies, the tinctures, the lip balms and more. They've got all the different gummies that you're looking for, including the different dosage of what you need.

Now, the seltzers are very popular. And if you're looking for some action quicker, that might be the route to take. If you're looking to just mellow out and, you know, kicks in when it kicks in, the gummies are good for that. Also, to help you sleep. There's different gummies without the THC that you can pop in in the morning. I'd still credit that particular gummy for helping me with when I thought I had a case of the gout. I had a problem that was hurting me and then I was taking those and then it went away.

I did not do a scientific study to prove that to you. I say it only anecdotally, but it's worth something to try. And that's the best part about Happy Place Hemp is you can try all this stuff with the promo code and then use the promo code again and again and again and again and again and again and again. Promo code is Bart at checkout. Twenty five percent off each and every order.

Twenty five percent off each and every order. Promo code is Bart. Rest of the show will be my reading of the Chris Middleton letter and what it should have said. And in the discussion we had about Aaron Rodgers, again, some old callers are going to be sprinkled through this episode. And I thank Tommy Words for helping me out on the Wisconsin Sports Daily Show. And you'll hear him as well as the other voice going back and forth with me. We'll have that coming back.

Maybe. But it's posted on Chris's social media. It does look pretty good. It's got a quality to it. There's three pictures, one of him in a game, very sweaty. The other of him holding the trophy.

Nice big smile. And then the other, just the back of his jersey, Middleton. So I will now read you what Chris Middleton had to say. Go ahead. Thank you. Dear Milwaukee, and not in a pun way either.

It was deer, not like deer, like DEE. Missed an opportunity. Really did. I'm glad they traded this guy. Twelve years ago, I arrived in the city as a young player with big dreams. Today, I leave as an NBA champion. Three-time All-Star, an Olympic gold medalist, and most importantly, someone who Milwaukee helped shape into the person and player I am today. Wow. Another mistake.

Another missed opportunity. His accolades are an NBA champion, three-time All-Star, Olympic gold medalist. Kind of forgot he was on the Olympic gold medal team, right? Did he forget he was on the NBA cup team?

Injured, so maybe he doesn't, you know, take the glory, I guess. From the moment I stepped foot in this city, you embraced me. Did we? Did we? Did all of us?

Not all of us. We're a lot more excited about Greg Monroe. Yeah. Before Chris Middleton. Oh, my God. That day, we were, I mean, I can't tell you how many people, on 1250 a.m., including me, said, this is like when the Packers sign Reggie White.

Oh, my God. We all went there, all of us. And it might have been, it just wasn't because of Greg Monroe.

Nobody, nobody hiding from that one. Together, this is Chris Middleton's words, together we experienced the rebuilding years, the emergence of a championship contender, and ultimately the unforgettable journey to the 2021 NBA championship. That magical run will stay with me forever. The late game shots, the comeback victories, and most importantly, bringing the Larry O'Brien trophy back to Milwaukee after 50 years. To the incredible Bucks fans, your passion and support through every up and down has been nothing short of amazing. From the early days at the Bradley Center, to the Energy Advisor Forum in the Pack Deer District during our championship run, the way this entire city rallies around this team is something special.

I'll always cherish. To the Bucks organization, thank you for believing in me, developing me, and giving me the opportunity to grow from a trade piece into an All-Star and champion. To the Milwaukee community, this city has become my home. The relationships built, the community initiatives we've worked on together, and the countless memories made both on and off the court will stay with me forever. As I begin this new chapter, I'm excited for the opportunities ahead. But Milwaukee will always hold a special place in my heart. This isn't goodbye. It's thank you.

Chris Middleton, hashtag fear the deer. I have actually obtained the first draft of this message. Can you believe that?

Oh, no, really? Yeah, I obtained the first draft. I hear it. It says, dear Milwaukee, 12 years ago, I was a throw-in because the Detroit Pistons thought I was ass. And when I got here for a while, I was. For some reason, you gave me Michael Redd's number when it probably should have been retired. And now it's going to go into the rafters with my name.

It's kind of messed up, but I thank you. I had a great time here. The 12 days of Christmas, which never got the publicity that it deserved.

I wasn't going to seek it out, but you guys should have been a little more on top of that. I mean, I was basically Santa Claus during the Christmas season. I loved winning the Olympics. Got to win it with Drew.

Still not sure why you traded him. I loved winning the championship. That was pretty sweet. Loved being on stage to celebrate, even though the sound at that event was terrible for anybody that wasn't in the first 10 rows. Most importantly, to see the NBA Cup rafter hang at the Pfizer Forum is a dream of mine since I was 34 years old. I'm going to miss Milwaukee. I'm going to miss how I was traded for Kyle Kuzma. I'm going to miss all the people that thought I would fetch an even bigger player.

A Bradley Beal, a Jimmy Butler, a CJ McCollum. It was Kyle Kuzma. I will miss the relationships that I built. I will miss 1250 a.m. the fan for always having my back. Specifically Bart Winkler in the morning show for all those years. How great Bart Winkler specifically was for defending me every time I got a big contract.

Because the rubes that called in were too dumb to understand the economics of the NBA. This is not goodbye Milwaukee. I'll be back. You're going to hang 22 for me, not red. You're going to hang 34 for Giannis, not Ray. We've made our mark on Milwaukee. You traded me for parts.

I'm going to kick your ass with the Wizards in a couple of weeks. Hashtag thank you Bart. Hashtag fear the deer. And that deer at the beginning was spelled like the animal. It was actually spelled D-E-R-E. He totally messed up that one. Really botched it.

Really messed up. Do we have a mutual on the phone? We both know this man. We both know this man. Dave is in Cudahy. Dave!

Bart, good afternoon gentlemen. Oh, it's so good to hear your voice on these airwaves. I mean, I still...

I am on these airwaves every night, but thank you Dave. Well, you know what I'm saying. It's a little too late. I'm an old man now. I can't stay up that long. Your youth has absolutely outlasted my work ethic. I just have too much work going on. I'm exhausted. We still have seven, eight jobs, Dave? Oh, easily. Easily.

And ask Tommy. He knows. All I do is work nonstop. It's a good work ethic.

It's good to have that. You're like the Chris Middleton now of Milwaukee. Someone's got to take that mantle now that we traded him for a bag of baseballs. Well, you know what? I will gladly take up that Chris Middleton work ethic.

Because, I mean, let's be honest. Bart, Chris Middleton, he created the absolute magic that was 1250. Those couple of months when I first started calling in, Bart. Remember that.

I do. We had all of those wonderful callers. Myself, Tony from Texas, Mike the Painter, even Ram. Come on. Hey, Ram called my show last week.

Did he? Yeah. I called your show a couple times.

Yeah, like early on all you guys were calling and then you all deuced out. Bart, you know I work at night. You know I'm a man of the hours. I know.

And I have to do what I got to do. But just, Bart, without Chris Middleton, we wouldn't have had that magic. You wouldn't have had that moment where you set up all those chairs over and over and over and over again waiting for- Well, that's why Chris thanked me once again. That's why he thanked me in the rough trap and then his people got to it.

It's fine. It happens, right? And I don't know who the media relations guy is in Washington, but they had to make sure that he set them straight.

Yes, I agree. It might be Luke Getze. Yeah, Luke Getze. Luke Getze.

Luke Getze. Well, Bart, just know that, again, we'll always have that moment for everyone. Don't forget producer Tim, too. He'll have that moment as well. And we have to embrace Chris Middleton.

Even you, Ram. I know you're listening. Just remember that.

Chris Middleton, NBA champion. Okay, thanks, Bart. Have a good one. All right. Yeah. Thank you, Dave.

This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. I don't think he's going to retire. And I don't think, just like a lot of people don't think, that he is capable of playing at an MVP level ever again. These quarterbacks, they get to a certain age, there's a drop-off.

Okay? Rodgers has hit that drop-off. For sure, he has. But does he have enough left to help a team win football games?

I think he does, if the team doesn't need him to do that much. And I think the best case for him, with all these teams that are being given his odds and favorites, would be Minnesota. Let me eliminate some teams where I don't think he's going. Because the best odds right now for Aaron Rodgers, plus 150 to the Steelers, plus 160 to the Raiders.

So Vegas and sportsbooks basically think that's where he's going. The Minnesota Vikings are a little lower at plus 850 and then Tennessee at plus 900. The Colts and then the Giants, the Rams, the Saints, Jacksonville. None of these teams pop out to me.

Some pop out to me in the sense of he's not going there. If Aaron Rodgers is going to go to the New York Giants, I believe they might be able to draft a quarterback. Maybe if they don't, there's a one year gap thing, but that's not going to appease anybody. You don't want to bring in Aaron Rodgers just to have a warm body. You're not doing that. You also don't want to bring him in to do the Kurt Warner to the Eli Manning thing. Where, yeah, you're our starter, but we got a rookie and you're just like what the Falcons did. We thought Kirk Cousins was going to get a couple of years before they went to Michael Penix and Atlanta's like, no, you suck, we made a mistake.

We're going to move on. So I don't think Rodgers is going to go to a place where if he plays poorly, he can be replaced. He's going to want to go to a place where if he plays poorly, he can be the quarterback the entire season. Kind of like what he just was with the Jets. And I know he had 26 touchdowns or 28, 11 picks, 4,000 yards nearly. You know, stats look decent. He was eighth in yards in the league, but he was also like 28th in completion percentage.

He was very bad. Aaron Rodgers was pressured the fourth lowest, the fourth lowest of any quarterback, yet he was sacked the ninth most amount of times. And it might even be a flip flop of that stat.

I might have that wrong. It might be that he was sacked more, but he was basically a statue back there. Some of the stats, you can look at the stats, certainly, and try to spin an argument to say, hey, Aaron Rodgers, you know, had a better year than you can use some stats if you don't tell the whole story.

There are plenty of stats out there in Rodgers' 2024 campaign to try to convince somebody as long as you don't tell the whole story, if you use selective works here. I don't think, though, that things would have been much different that year that he got hurt, I think would have just been this year as well. I don't think he was going to be taking the Jets to the playoffs, even with a better defense that they had a year ago.

This was probably always going to be how it ended. I don't think Aaron Rodgers has what he used to have. The game that sticks out with me more than any game is when he lost to the Lions, when the Packers lost to the Lions. Sunday Night Football, his last game, they had a chance to make the playoffs.

He was not good. The Lions ran circles all over Green Bay, and that's the Rodgers that you got. It's a Rodgers that can still throw the footballs to his buddies, but it's an immobile Rodgers. It's a Rodgers that does look old. He's old. And for playing football, he's old. All right? We're the same age, me and him.

My body goes into a state of shock anytime I pick up a shovel. So, that's just the age that our bodies are. He's still trying to play NFL football. And he can still play. I don't think he's a top ten quarterback.

I'm not sure he's in the top half. But I think we can play a little game manager football with still some of the traits that he hasn't lost. The brains. I still think he's very smart.

Especially with recall and situations and coverages. It's just a matter of can his body keep up with his brain? That's something that happens a lot to these athletes when they get a little older. So, he needs a team where there are weapons. And that team would be Minnesota, who if they move on from Darnold. And I know I just said don't be there for a rookie quarterback. But J.J. McCarthy is kind of a different animal than some of these other guys.

Okay? Because he's a little younger. I think Cam Ward. What's Cam Ward? 22. J.J. McCarthy.

All right. He's 22 as well. But the other thing is he's not fully healthy. Or they may want him to recoup a little bit and recover a little bit.

They may want a little more time there. So, if I'm Minnesota, I'd be interested in a one-year deal with Rogers. It would be Rogers' last season, most likely. We'll ride for a year and then we're going to fully commit to J.J. after this is how I would look at it. I think that Kevin O'Connell is a coach that's comfortable enough with his team. He's not going to get googly eyes like Robert Sala did when Rogers came aboard.

He's not going to get crazy there. And I think that he could get the most out of that situation. Rogers would then have weapons including Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, T.J. Hawkinson. Do we dare throw Devante there? Aaron Jones come back as a free agent again? I mean, he's going to want to play there.

It's different. It's interesting if this were to happen. Because if this happens, it would be Rogers trying to find, you know, he's playing musical chairs, tunes running out, chairs are running low, where do you go? This isn't Favre taking a gap year in New York because he really wanted to go to Minnesota.

That's not this. This is Rogers wanting to hang on to his career while he still can. And I think Minnesota does provide him the best opportunity. Is Minnesota as into it as I think they should be?

I don't know. That's something that we'll see as the offseason unfolds. We'll take some calls momentarily.

414-677-1250, 414-677-1250. The other two spots I do think he could land? I'm going to take a dart throw on the Cleveland Browns. He is a co-owner of the Bucks with Jimmy Haslam.

I don't know if they're friends at all or have even ever talked, but there's got to be a group text. I'm going to hear your other one before I tell you my dart throw. The other one I think is the obvious one, which is Pittsburgh.

Okay. With him and Tomlin. And it would be nice for Rogers to go to a coach that's like, hey, I respect you, but I'm going to coach you. Mike Tomlin's going to coach him. Matt Lafleur was like, ah, it's my first job.

I don't want to screw up. Robert Sala was like, wow, the hottest girl in class is talking to me. It was really weird the way that that all went down. I don't think the Raiders, people are trying to say, well, Tom Brady, are Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, are they friends? Have you ever seen a picture of them together? No. They're not hanging out.

They're not crashing each other's roasts and golf events. So I think the three that I would kind of expect him to be is Browns as a dart throw, Steelers most likely, and then Minnesota if Minnesota wants to give that a spin. And it wouldn't be the way that Minnesota normally does it, which is, let's screw over the Packers. It would be, no, I mean, we want to use this guy.

Do you have a different dart throw? New York Giants. If they drive the quarterback? New York Giants. Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers, we just talked about his intelligence, right?

When he speaks, he knows what he is saying, right? Aaron Rodgers. He had nothing but good things to say about New Jersey. Not the Jets, but New Jersey specifically.

New Jazzy. Aaron Rodgers loved New Jersey this whole time and had nothing but good things to say about where he was. What's the equivalent of New Jersey to the NFC as it is the AFC? That is the New York Giants. He gets to go to a place where even if they draft a quarterback, probably going to be drafting an unproven guy where they're drafting because they're probably going to have to move up to number one if they want to.

That guarantees him the whole year, though, Tommy, because I think he just becomes Kurt Warner to Eli Manning again. I'm telling you, I just don't think that Aaron Rodgers looks anywhere else after all of his work on New Jersey. It is literally the exact same, like, now that immunized has happened, all I heard was New Jersey every time he was talking. I do like the theory, at least. He knows what he's doing when he's talking, and if you hear him talk about it, he never is hyping up the Jets.

It's always New Jersey. No, I think that's very observational. I like the theory. Kind of like how when Sean Payton wore an orange tie once on the pregame show, he was telling the Broncos, I'm interested in you. Rodgers is telling the Giants he's interested in them. That is an interesting way to look at it. I like that.

4-1-4, 6-7-7, 12-50. We've got Trav and Brown Deer. What's up, old friend? Yeah, it's been a while, Bart.

I think you hit it on the head. I told a coworker at the beginning of the season, he won't last there, but I think he ends up in Minnesota, too. The reason why, just like Favre, Favre retired from the Jets, and when Minnesota came calling, it's like, okay. It gave him motivation, too, and I can see the same thing with Aaron Rodgers, even though he said he liked New Jersey and stuff. But indoors, he's getting older, and just the motivation in Minnesota might look at it like, because Darner, I don't think, is going to be there. They might look at, okay, we'll take Aaron. He'll probably give a little motivation because he's playing Green Bay, and the young guy coming back from injury can maybe learn for one season under him.

I want to hear what you guys think. Trav, if he goes to Minnesota, are we going to be like, I mean, we didn't want Favre to go to Minnesota. We were scared of that.

I don't know how scared a Packer fan would be. No, I'm not scared of, that was a little different, I think. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, so.

All right. Hey, good to talk to you, Trav. Yeah, yep, Bart, bye.

Trav in Brown Deer, 414-677-1250. I'm very excited to say this word, and I only say it to one person. Aloha to KJ in West Allis, buddy, boy. Aloha, Bartimas. What's up, KJ?

What's going on? How's it in the Wigglerverse, man? You know, we're just plugging along, trying to get used to still after a year and a half working at the butt crack of dawn, but that's fine. Yeah, well, I got to try and stay up. I'm an old man now, so I don't stay up too late. I barely make it through those shows myself, KJ.

I hear you, man. Listen, I tend to think that he's going to go to the Raiders. And I don't think he's going to go to the Vikings. I don't think he wants to go through the gauntlet of that division with the Lions, the Packers, and that whole bit there.

I think number two would be the Steelers. I'm not sure he would do well with Mike Tomlin. I think he's passed being able to be coached at this point, and Tomlin is definitely going to kick him in as you-know-what.

So, you know, that would be number two. And perhaps Tennessee would be my next choice for him. Do you think, because we keep throwing out these teams, do you think there's any possibility or how strong the possibility is that he does not play, that he retires? Because if we're going to break it out in percentage, I got retirement at zero. Maybe one percent off. He's five touchdowns away from breaking Brett Favre's record.

Or tying Brett Favre in career touchdowns. That's where you're at? Zero percent.

Yeah, I'm at one percent. He's not going to retire after having the year he had last year. I mean, his ego is too humongous for that. The Vikings, I think the Vikings are going to franchise Darnall. Yeah, and they possibly could. That's probably the better choice for them, and they seem still enamored with Sam enough.

That's probably the choice. I think if I'm Rodgers, I'm doing whatever I can to at least let Minnesota know that, hey, if you don't do that, here's an option that I could provide. Yeah, and I think Pete Carroll, he would be a decent coach for him, you know, for the Raiders for the end of his career. I mean, the guys who won the Super Bowl, he's won a national championship. He's a pretty good coach. So, you know, I think that might be it, and I think Devontae would be on board with going back to the Raiders as well. I think they're going to be matched up together, Bart, when it's all said and done wherever they go. Yeah, maybe. KJ, good to talk to you again.

Aloha to you. I don't know that Devontae chases Rodgers a second time. I mean, I guess if it's good, why leave? The devil you know. I kind of think Devontae ends up back on the West Coast, maybe San Francisco, maybe the Chargers. Is Green Bay considered the West Coast?

Of Brown County. I don't – do you want him back? I don't. I don't want him back. I don't.

I would much rather see something different. I mean, would I take him if the options are nothing or him? Yes.

But if they are involved in any other wide receiver that has been rumored as a big free agent, he is at the bottom of the list. I hold it against him. Look, if you didn't want to play with Jordan Love then, you can't play with him now. I do have a question, or I guess just something to bring up to you. Do you think Brett Favre, when he went to Minnesota, was scarier than if Aaron Rodgers was to go to Minnesota? Yes. Do you not? I mean, I have numbers here that are just back and forth that maybe they'll change your mind.

Let me hear them then. So age 39 season is when Brett Favre was a New York Jet. Age 40 season this last year for Aaron Rodgers when he was a Jet. Brett Favre threw for 3400 yards in 16 games. 22 touchdowns, 22 interceptions as well that year. Had a completion percentage of 65%. Aaron Rodgers this past year, 3900 yards in 17 games.

28 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, completion percentage of 63%. I don't think either one of them, there was a lot of fear. I think the fear from Favre was, oh that was a really bad breakup. He wanted revenge. I don't know if Aaron Rodgers really has that distaste for Green Bay. He just wants to play. He's not going to be as vindictive or as emotion-alow. That's a new word. Emotional about it as Favre was, but I don't know.

I don't know. Well, maybe we don't even get to that point, but I do think he's going to play. I think we're in lockstep that he's going to play. I like the subtle New Jersey theory. I'll pay more attention to that. That'll wrap things up for another episode of Into the Winklerverse. Again, glad to share those pieces of audio with you.

We'll be back later in the week with mmm, mmm, mmm. Again, you can support the show. Support me. Follow me at Bart Winkler or Bart Winkler Show. Wherever you're on social media, I'm not on Truth. I'm still on Twitter, Bart Winkler Show. I'm on Blue Sky, Bart Winkler. Post there a little more. Facebook, I've been memeing, Bart Winkler Show. Threads I was on, I went to check my last thread. My last thread was from December 17th. It said, this is the worst app ever.

My life's mission is to ruin anybody's life who likes this app. That was when I kept logging in and people were like, the witches are telling us the selection's not over. It was really weird.

I was like, what are we doing? Then my previous post before that, I saw somebody had said, just watch Major League, what a great performance by Bob Euchre, R.I.P. That was in December and I quoted it and said, do you know what R.I.P.

even means? Then he passed away a month later. So I deleted that one. But find me, YouTube, all those places. And of course, right here where you're listening. Thanks for stopping into the Winklerverse.
