You need Indeed. Good morning, everybody. I'm Bart Winkler. The Bart Winkler Show got some reaction to Packers versus Seahawks, the game that happened on Saturday the 26th. Packers getting the preseason victory in this one, a game that took a while to really get moving, but then some excitement towards the end.

Packers win 19 to 15 thanks to a last minute interception by the squad. So good moment there on the defense for stepping up and showing it was Benny Sapp, the third who had that pick. I think the defense has impressed a little bit this season. I did see a tweet saying if they knew that like Engaberry and some of these other guys, Brenton Cox has looked really good.

You know, Keishon Banks has looked really good. There's some of these guys, Carl Brooks rather has looked really good too. There are some of these guys that have really looked good on defense. And if they knew that that would be the case, would they have drafted Lucas Van Ness? And I think these are the kind of things that happen in the preseason where it's like, just wait, let's, let's just like wait. So those are good players.

We're excited about them, but we know what Van Ness says. It's the same thing as like a Rashan Gary, a guy that they want to develop just cause it, and this is the whole thing with college. It's like, do you draft a guy based on what he did in college or do you draft a guy based on his potential? You, are you looking to draft a guy that like, what does it matter if he started 40 games at Iowa for didn't start? And then that matters.

What matters is what he's going to do for you. So I know people are excited about the young guys, but let's, let's cool it on like how we're criticizing Lucas Van Ness or whatever, being worried. I think we just got to wait on all of that kind of stuff. So defense though, I think a lot of people are wondering if this is, if they're the real deal, people are getting excited by some of the things they're seeing in this two and one preseason could have been three. No, the game was called early, rightfully. So first time at LaFleur has ever had a winning preseason.

We'll see if that translates any at all. It won't, but I thought that what is important about the preseason statistically is Jordan love 21 of 33 for 193 yards, three touchdowns, no picks, not a ton of yards based on the amount of throws. But I think if you do that, like if you do that in week one against the bears, 21 of 33 for one 93 and three scores, there's going to be a lot of people thinking, Oh my God, we were wrong about Jordan love, or we now need to consider what Jordan love might be. Jordan love, I think has shown you that he is a good quarterback. Is he going to be a star in this league?

I don't know. Is he going to absolutely suck and get out there and look like he's lost that I think we know won't happen. And for some reason that was like the bar that a lot of people had said is he's going to just be this terrible quarterback that's going to absolutely suck. He's not going to know how to play. He's going to be like that guy from new Mexico state with his helmet backwards.

Like that's how he's going to play. Like, no, he's going to be a fine quarterback minimum. Will he be good? Will he be great?

Will he be a third hall of Famer in a row? All that stuff, I guess remains to be seen, but I do feel good going into week one with Jordan love. We will also look back fondly at this preseason as the preseason that three people thought that Sean Clifford should be the starting quarterback.

And then that had a storm that never should have happened. So I think that was pretty stupid. A good touchdown from Jordan love the back shoulder to the fade to to Christian Watson. I say that because on Saturday night, Aaron Rogers threw a back shoulder to Garrett Wilson. I watched Aaron Rogers.

I couldn't not do it. I thought that he looked bad. I thought that the jets looked bad with him.

He overthrew some guys. Like if Jordan love would had that game that Rogers did, he'd be criticized more. And the same thing where if CJ Stroud or Bryce young or Richardson would have these games, even if Justin Fields would had one game like Jordan love had in the preseason, we would like be crowning these guys.

And I think there's going to be like a keep everything in check with Jordan love for some reason. Anyway, Rogers, the touchdown was impeccable. One of the few throws that he can make. But I think the problem was last season. There were a few throws that he could make only, but you had to like cut through a lot of the thick to get there.

There was a touchdown to Watson last year. I remember I was like, okay, that's only only Rogers can do that. But how much other, like, I just, I think it's going to be a grind for them.

I think it's going to be a grind. And you know, if you're a jets fan, though, you got your touchdown, you got to see Rogers in the preseason for the first time in five years, you're going to feel optimistic about that. So if you're a jets fan, how did you find me? If you're a Rogers fan, Horvat, hello. If you're a Packer fan, look, I'm rooting against them.

And the 65% thing, you know, that's cute. Maybe you make a Jersey. I really don't care. I just want the jets to be bad. More than anything. I want the jets to be bad.

And I want more than anything with factors to be good. But I also want the jets to be bad. I do. Packers, I think will be good as I predicted them to go 10 and seven. They did win loss.

They did take him to lose to the bears, which would blow, but we'll see what happens there. More thoughts on the game. I went to the game with my son.

He had a good time. We'll talk about that in a minute. Happy place, hemp.com promo code is Bart. So I went to the game with my kid and he's four and I think he had a good time. We went I think a little too early we got in there about 11 because I wanted to see flyover I wanted to see players come out. And so I specifically and I wanted to like have him look around so I wanted to be in there really by like game start at noon on a Saturday I wanted to be in there by 1140. We end up getting in there with food in hand and everything by like 1110. So he was there a while but 50 minutes of that was him just being like, there's nothing going on.

What am I doing here plus then it's like raining somehow so that maybe we could have got there a little later. But the introductions were cool. He got into like the plays you're trying to teach him about touchdowns and first downs and you know, I'm just kind of I he doesn't need to like sports. He doesn't if he doesn't like sports, it's fine. But I'm gonna I'm gonna go down like I'm gonna go down with the fight.

I'm gonna do everything I can to indoctrinate him if I can. And I think that he had a good time I you know, first quarter, the touchdown happened on the other side, I wish it would have happened closer to us. The Packers were driving a little bit that we saw field goal, which I think he thought was cool.

But we saw a touchdown and we stay for about a quarter and a half, went to the pro shop. I know that it worked because he got a cheese head in a packer squishy. So hey, I'll spend 30 bucks on a cheese head all day if it means my son is going to wear it the rest of the week. And now what it ended up being was a holder for his toys. He just like held his toys in there.

But you know, it's a cheese head. So that's great. So he had a good time. And that was very exciting.

I think that and then we went to the park and everything but this like this this this will go a ways and I think that that's cool. There were people that I saw were overly critical of the Packers crowd. It was a preseason game.

Noon on a Saturday. Okay, I got my tickets under face value. I probably should have waited longer guy behind me said I have season tickets. I have two season tickets. And I bought these for 20 bucks each.

He had four of them. Great way to take the whole family. He's like, this is great. And I wanted to take my kid to a preseason game one because I knew we'd leave early to it didn't matter to him. Like I'm not I'm not going to try to teach him what a first down is in a bitter rivalry like we need to win this game.

And I've seen Jordan love for the first time. I'm like, yeah, Twitter. I'm not going to do that. Speaking on Twitter, if anybody this you can see on the Dan Cheney YouTube stream.

Dan Cheney insurance. This is I'm showing a picture. If you can see, it looks quite a bit like me. It's actually not me.

I tweeted it out. He's wearing a beanie. It's I have a variant. This is there's a lot of people that because I have a red beard and I'm a little chunk and my hair is receding. You know, there's a lot of people that think they see a clone of me, but I think I've actually found the closest thing to a variant of me that exists. And I would love to know who this man is.

So I know it's kind of hard to see on the YouTube stream, but I would love to know who that man is. But there were a lot of people like, you know, making fun of the making fun of the crowd and a preseason game and the PA announcers are like put the wave in your back pocket and the Packers are really trying to get you humped on the pumped on this third down thing. Like let things happen organically.

That's why a lot of people hated G force because it was in your face. You know, if they were, if the, if the Packers were like, all right, everybody on fourth downs, we want you to cheer, go pack, go, just like this, go pack, go, just like that. Now go pack, go. No one would do it, but go pack, go wherever it started.

It started organically. And that's why we do it. So at stadiums, you got to let things happen organically as a PA announcer myself, please believe me when I say this.

I know the floor commented about the wave, maybe joking, maybe not. And there's a lot of this that's right because Wisconsin fans, we are reactionary. We, we are, we could be better as fans. The home crowd were like always nervous or we're always sitting on our hands or we're, we're never like, we don't will the team is we do need work. We do need to be better, but to use a preseason game to judge that when there's a lot of people like me, I mean, I'm trying to teach my kid what a first down is. Now wasn't the time to be like, and here's why you don't do the wave, especially on when the Packers are an offense.

I just say like, I don't think that's the time to do it. So I understand. I get it. Everybody's all, but it was a preseason game at noon on a Saturday. One of two people went there. People that are like, Oh my God, I can get fucked up at the bars on a Saturday morning, go to a game and just go to crows West and get hammered all day, be in bed by six or people that want to be like, my son betters like the Packers. And I'm going to drive up to green Bay and make a weekend out of it to go to the game. So I think there's like, that's who was there.

There was nobody there like practicing what it was like to be a fan. Like, all right. Okay.

It's a Packers on defense. I'm going to get loud. Like those people just weren't there. All right. So I thought it was very odd that we tried to pretend like they were. So leave the pre-season crowd alone.

Really dumb. Also had a good time. Kid went home with some Packers stuff at night.

I was putting in a bed of you saying green Bay peckos. And that like means the world to me as a dad. I keep showing him the videos. I can't, here's what you did.

He's like, I dad, I know I like look at him and cry. So I enjoyed the game. So reflections on the preseason. We're in a good spot, mostly healthy Tyler Davis injury. Good Jay Sternberger become a packer. He got released by the bills. A lot of us, you know, long for him again. There's going to be some trades, possibly good. He makes a lot of trades this time of the year. Cut down is going to be on Thursday, Tuesday, rather. We'll go live then. And so there's a lot to happen in the next couple of days.

And we'll of course talk about it as much as we can. So healthy for the most part, Jordan love good Anders Carlson better kicking still a question mark, but a good day for him. Defense. Nice. Jordan love caught a pass.

Funny Malique. He, maybe he makes the team running backs. What's going to happen with Emmanuel Wilson. Where are they going to go with that third back? If they keep the third back. So a lot of questions to be answered, but I think for a preseason you got out of it and you feel good about Jordan love. And that ultimately is what we were looking for in this pre-season. And that is what we got.

Now, one other thing I want to mention, I almost forgot to mention it. The Niners trading Trey Lance. They need to be, they need to be contracted for that. Had the Packers drafted Jordan love a few years ago and then traded him for a fourth round pick. All they gave up was the fourth.

They moved up a little bit, but then they took a guy away. Maybe that they could have drafted for Rogers. I mean, the Goudekins would have been run out of town, not just by Packer fans would buy everybody. And I feel like there's a lot of people being like Kyle Shanahan, John Lynch, not getting that much criticism.

And they're really not, where is it? Where where's all this Chris and John Lynch is a terrible GM. John Lynch never should have been in the hall of fame, but he's like on Fox and he's like, Hey, I'm John Lynch. Everybody likes me. We do like you. And he goes, can I be in the hall of fame? We're like, maybe.

And then we're like, actually, you know what? Yes. And you can be ahead of all these other safeties that are good.

He's like, cool. Can I be a GM? Why not? Can I make a bad trade? Yeah. Are you gonna criticize me for it? No. In fact, we're going to credit you for saving cap room.

Okay. So bad trade there. He goes to the Cowboys Niners. So it's Brock Purdy or Sam Darnold. And a lot of people are bee lining the Niners into the NFC championship.

And I I'm very hesitant, very hesitant to do that. So good game. Niners are dumb.

Packers are great. Exciting finish. We did leave early. So we did get to where we were staying by the end of the game and watch the end on TV. And then my boys like, that's where we were.

The good guys are winning. I mean, I can't tell you how much you can see it in my eyes, how much it meant to me. It was great.

And this was pretty neat. I actually got to, I, we watched the end of the game and then I went back to Lambeau and had a media pass and I got to talk to Anders Carlson a little bit about his game and his performance. And if you just want to hear a little bit of that conversation, I can, I can take you inside the locker room. The first thing I asked him was, cause he made that 57 yard field goal. I said, Hey Anders, I'll just take you to it.

Anders, Bart Winkler, Bart Winkler show. Hey, you made that 57 yard field goal. Must've been pretty cool. It was awesome. You know, it was good operation and those are the opportunities to kind of dream of and just going out there and pre-season the way I like to. So a great opportunity.

Frontline did really good. Pat, great hold. And so I put it through my job. That's great. I got another one. I got another one.

Clemons, just wait a minute. I got another one. Are you feeling pretty good going into the season? I feel good. I think there's always things to grow from and learn from. I think there's been a lot of good.

There's been some bad too. So every day is a learning lesson, no matter how good or bad I did and just get back with the coaches, get back with the guys in my room and learn and try to get better every day. Yeah. Anders, I have another one match. And I mean, if you could, you're a radio star. Now, if you could focus on your 45 minutes show every night where you probably make more money than I ever did in a year because I heard grows money and they don't get the return on the value. Do you appreciate that the coach Matt LaFleur is, is a, is a, is a champion for you? I think he challenges me real well, which I appreciate because it's opportunities like that. You know, it feels kind of normal.

It's not a big opportunity. It's just kind of the same old, same old, which you do every day. So I appreciate the trust from him, the teammates, all the coaches, everyone. So yeah, just, just trying to be deeper. Anders, one more for me.

I don't know. I was, I was in the atrium during your field goal and Wayne and Larry acted like you just made the game when he kicked him in a super bowl. I think it was part improbable this and they like they couldn't believe they actually saw that you made that, that kick. The team also reacted like you won the last 10 super bowls. Was that a little weird or was that fun to have everybody treat you like you were the JV kid, like you are Rudy, but a kicker. A lot of celebration.

They were hyped. I think to celebrate on the field was a lot of fun. I saw a good picture of me and Pat and Tuck celebrating.

So it was good. I don't even know if I kicked off after that. I probably had to go kick off. I know I didn't get the last few, but I was probably locked in on the next play. You did kick off after that.

Your call has been forwarded to an automatic voice message system. Just checking in, getting some day after events, thoughts in before it's too late. Wow. That was, that was wild. It was hotter than hot and I believe I'm the one who can say that. If you didn't come because of the heat, shame on you. You're a small, weak, I won't go any further.

That's mean, and I shame on you for not coming, especially if you bought a ticket and it didn't come. Wowzers. Yikes. Things went off without a hitch. Rolling was a challenge, but everything turned out well. We had a lot of extra meat. So thank you for that guys who didn't show up. People that did show up were troopers.

Best of the best. I made it until the third inning. I thought that I was going to pass out and or throw up from the heat. Of course I don't drink. So about the third inning, I did an Irish goodbye, packed up the grill by myself. That was pretty wild.

Drops on my toe, you know, took one for the team, but all in all a great event. I'd like to do some sort of Packers thing. Tickets might be tough for that. You know, little pricey, little pricey, but who knows?

It gets them together. Never say never. All right.

I figured now's a good time to talk some brewers. Uh, Tim Shay is driving around right now. Shocking. Are you parked or are you going to drive? I'm driving, but I can't. I haven't seen you since your tailgates. Yeah. Uh, any, do you want to debrief on the tailgate? Any thoughts on the tailgate? It was fricking awesome.

Yeah. I'd say, yeah, I had a great time. I stayed a lot longer than I thought. I really wasn't planning on going to the game. You had an extra ticket.

I literally was a last minute decision. I ended up going into the stadium. Um, it was a good time. It was a good time. I left. I did leave a little early, but did not sit, stay for the walk off, but, uh, uh, that was what when that was when one, two, three, four so far, that was when four in this so far now eight game winning streak.

So well, they didn't play Thursday. That was when number five. That was a good time. Yeah. Yeah.

The brewers now after sweeping Chicago, after sweeping Chicago, they then got swept by the Dodgers, swept Texas, swept Minnesota. I did stay for that full game at the tailgate. How about, how about this? Uh, do you have three shakeaways? Tim Shea takeaways from the tailgate. Um, Matt in the falls is a very good realer.

What's the, what's the correct term here? I got some tunes. All right. Shakeaway number one, Matt in the falls. Good on the grill. He was fantastic on the grill.

Shakeaway number two, shakeaway number two from the tailgate. Um, Oh boy. Every a lot. I mean, every buddy showed up like good for everybody showing up on a day when it was a hundred, the heat index was 120. Yeah. But as, as meteorologists tell me, if it was really 120, it would feel like 135. So delete your weather app. What else?

And, uh, number three, three for you Bart Winkler on the Bart Winkler tailgate annual inaugural tailgate. So we'll see. I mean, next year, maybe I'll have a job by that time. That'd be great. Maybe I won't. Well, I mean, if you don't, you're, I mean, people already want the second one.

That's true. They want to go to the box, a box tailgate, a Packers tailgate. Uh, no, I just went to the Packers game. No. What?

I know how you, I think you had a good time, right? I did. Let me read you. So I want to read you something because there are people that are telling me that I should download their local weather apps instead of the Apple weather app, which I use to great success. Let me tell you some of the, and I'm not going to name any names or stations, but here are just a variety of reviews. I've got on, on Apple from local weather apps. Um, do not download this app. You have to scroll hunt to find the weather dumb useless video of smiley anchors, ads, ads, and more ads opening the map.

Let's see. I ride a motorcycle. I rely on the weather apps to keep me out of the rain. This app tells you where it rained after it already happened. These are not Apple weather reviews.

These are reviews of the people who are trying to tell me to download their app. A storm approaches and the graphics are not updating. I've been now waiting an hour to see where the storm is terrible. Uh, here's another one. All this is is ads.

Here's another one. This used to be my favorite weather site, but now I have to look at ads and then smiley anchors. The ads are annoying and take up space. I am using other apps now because of your insistence on advertising. Have you guys heard about my new, uh, survivor poll at sprout social? Let's go to, that's not even the name of the website.

God, I was going to say, uh, I will be joining soon. And it's called splash. Jesus sprouts. Slash that slash sports.com backslash Winkler sprout. What am I thinking of?

All right. So weather apps aside, what are some shakeaways from the brewers eight game winning streak now culminated with a series win against the Padres where the offense was, I mean the offense was terrific. Every game they had in anywhere, they scored five runs. Um, yeah, I, I, I mean, I don't know what to say about this team anymore. They are, uh, I do like this music.

Where did you get this from stream yard? Oh, okay. Um, shakeaway number one, the pitching's been decent too. Like let's not go away from that. Yeah.

Um, but, but you're right. You don't want 58 runs so far. Adrian Howser lasted all the two innings, but how about we'll Brian Wilson.

Yeah. Some people call him Bryce, but he had a nice day too. Bryce Wilson, six and Oh, on the season. If you're into that, but four innings, 53 pitches, four K's they had Bryce Wilson go for innings, 53 pitches on Sunday. And, uh, normally brewers would do that to someone and then cut their ass.

Well, I mean, he just proved how valuable he is. They're not going to come. You needed that going into Chicago because you pretty much can win this division this week, at least in my eyes. Well, you long ago said the reds are done.

So they are done right. And as we go into Monday's action, brewers do travel to Chicago. We'll be live at least Monday night. Um, five and a half are the reds, but Chicago is the team now at four back. So this eight, let's say you, let's say you win six and two or five and three, like it's a one, two, you know, game lead over the Cubs coming into this pivotal series. You've given yourself a cushion now where even if you win two or three, you still gain a game. If you lose two or three, you only lose one game. You're still up three.

So this is, this is important. Brewers have a four game lead over Chicago, heading into this week's series. What can you see happening? Cause I, I mean, obviously I don't want to be that guy that's like, Oh yeah, they're going to sweep them, put them to bed.

But I, I can honestly see them winning two or three gain another game. And you're up five with less than 30 to go then at that point coming into, uh, labor day weekend. What are you driving over? That's like a real bumpy noise. Uh, I'm on Wisconsin going right down Wisconsin Avenue. Where is, what is all this construction where like I, uh, where was I the other day I was driving on, I was driving on a road where there wasn't even construction. They just set up orange cones to like Brady street.

No, but they just split. It was like, Hey, you're already used to construction. I tried getting from Shorewood to like, I, you can't even, you can only use Oakland. You couldn't even use Lake. Every road by the campuses cut down. It's a disaster. Yeah. What, uh, what's that Maryland what's going on on Maryland by Maryland.

There was like a sinkhole or some shit two years now. I know it's like pissing me off. Whatever. How was it, uh, downtown by the Pfizer form events? Um, well, okay.

So you see any celebrities walking around by your apartment? So I got back, I got back from the tailgate from the game and I had to like wipe off the 30 pounds of sweat that I had. Yeah. That was the bait night. So then I went down, you know, just to check it out. And there were cops like, don't, don't cross this line or else we're going to have to get your ID and ID you and do this and this. Cause they were, you know, they were vetting people like that were going to this debate and they had to be like checked three times if you were going to it.

So I was like, all right, I'm staying over on my side. Don't worry. Whatever. And then once the debate started, they let protesters into the area. Yeah. They made a big difference.

I'm glad that they spent their big difference. It was, uh, it was pretty, pretty crazy. I mean, it's just a sign of things to come next year when the, uh, the whole shebang is here. So that's what four day event. Yeah.

That's a four day event, Monday through Thursday. So, um, I, yeah, it was, it was interesting. So eyes on the lock in everybody. So yeah, I said, well, Hey, to go back eyes on Milwaukee for this Brewer team. Let's just recap you a Friday, seven to three win Brandon Woodruff, 11 strikeouts in front of CC Sabathia, which was very, very cool to have him back. Hey, CC's back.

You know, it would even be more cool. Bring Ben sheets back. And when Ben sheets is on the mound, Freddy delivers nine strikeouts and another save for Devin Williams. Many of them coming in one out opportunities, uh, one run opportunities. Rather Devin was saved number 35 on the season.

And then of course, today, Sunday, the 10, six victory Adrian Houser lifted. I'll check if he's hurt or not. I really haven't bought.

Forearm tightness. Okay. So what is he going to be back?

I, they don't know yet. All right. Bruce gave up some runs late, but Bryce Wilson, the star in this one, offensively good weekend for Rowdy Tellez had the home run on Friday. Uh, the Brewer's getting some good production out of Santana over the weekend and Mariana. Don't forget.

Very good. Don't forget his bobblehead on Saturday. We have a Santana bobblehead Rowdy Tellez.

They had for the first 30,000. Oh, that was Saturday. Yup. There's a nice like cutoff a fleece vest this Saturday. Yup.

I might have to get my hands on that. Um, should we go? No. Mlb.com has an article. Each playoff contender's most crucial player. They say for the Brewers it's Tyrone Taylor. Listen, he was batting like one 52 months ago.

He's like two 23 now in August. He's three 56 slash four Oh eight slash seven 11, but he's been good. Uh, your guy Adamas has been really good trying to think like, I mean, Rowdy just came back, but um, Matt in the fall says we got to go do a Packers tailgate just to fly the flag and pick up some listeners.

I should have brought mine to the game. Uh, brew pack abs says brilliant pitching overall, some actual clutch hitting and Matt notes, some great pitch taking as well. Cameron says in all caps, I love sports. So I love sports is the take there. Any of the comments from Mark?

That you want to dive into? He did talk to reporters, uh, centrally said, I have never thought about leaving here. Let's sign a deal through 2050 Omar who runs carnivore and like is best friends with everybody rich because they love his food. Uh, he tweeted, he sat down with, with Mark and Mark said that he has tweet was something to the extent of, it was great to hear Mark and his vision of keeping his, the team with his sons. And that's been a take of mine forever that he was never going to sell.

He's always wanting to give it to his sons. So hashtag where Winkler was right. I don't think Mark has any, I don't think they, I don't think that like, I understand.

And spark, I said like, you know, you got to take these things seriously. And I understand that, you know, but I don't think that the brewers ever move, not with this ownership, not with Mark. And he's not going to sell it. He's going to give it to his kids. He's he's like, he's not a super rich guy, but they have under his tenure become more of a contender.

I don't know. I, I think you can have worst owners. I think you can have worst owners.

I don't. I mean, you could, yeah, you could have Jerry Ryan stores who they want to move the Southsiders North of the Cubs, like the gurney build a, build a, build a multi-purpose stadium bears and White Sox, Nightingale saying soldier field. I had moved. Yeah. Move, move the White Sox is on your field.

Sorry. Soldiers field moving the soldiers field. Mel gives $2 to keep the brewers in Milwaukee. They're staying in Milwaukee first. I will make sure that $2 gets to the brewers. They're staying in Milwaukee. You know, the brewers got a lot of my dollars. Adam says, Gibson, Santana, precautionary I L stint and call up Keston Keston's Keston's never getting called up. They want to keep Keston down because they're going to win a world series and they don't want to give him a ring.

Does Garrett Mitchell come back? They've been talking a lot about him. Where's that picture of from South free, like where he's like trying to look sexy by a ping pong table. I keep seeing that on Twitter and they're like, each time I see it, I, I wonder good. It's a good looking man.

I wonder each time I see it, I wonder where the picture was taken. Period. New thought, new sentence.

He's a good looking man for whatever you are picking up on. So the move with the tailgating, cause I paid for a grid of six, but John and Marty got there right away and basically made that six, like 12. I was going to say that like, when you kept on talking about six, I'm like, what are you talking about? I feel like you have a grid of like 40. Yeah. We ended up having a big grid, which worked out great. Yeah.

And the canopies were great. It was nice meeting everybody. It was nice putting a face to some people.

Yeah. And it was nice that there was like people that contribute on here, but also people that have never been on the video. Maybe maybe they don't even like, like Al and Alex and Scott and some of these guys, Donovan Donovan, this guy, Donovan comes up. He's like, Hey, I listen all the time. I'm from Chicago. I'm just here for the tailgate. I couldn't miss it.

And he drove back to pick up his kid. There were a bunch of people who are like, yeah, I never joined. I just listened and just wanted to come. So that was pretty great.

That was great. Jimmy was another Jimmy is good to meet. Is Keston on the 40 man? I don't think he is. No, he's not.

That's why he won't be have this team. Yeah. And you can't like when you come on September, when you get to call up what, two guys? Yeah. I don't know. I mean, it would be nice to have them, but what, what are they going to, they'll probably, if we want to look at September already and call up, so probably look at another picture or hello, Garrett, Garrett Mitchell.

Well, yeah, yeah, yeah. Even if he, obviously he won't be able to play the field or so. I think, I don't know, but they can just use him as a DH.

I take that in the RV. Yes. I almost got baited. I saw an article this weekend that said, did the brewers actually win the Josh hater trade? And then I read it. And then the article, the guy says, you can't look at the trade as the same trade. It's two separate trades. They got, but, and so I'm like, I'm glad I ran.

I'm glad I actually clicked on a link and read the article. Cause I don't think he didn't get in at all. Did he?

I was going to just ask you that. I'm like Josh hater didn't pitch this weekend. Did he?

No, there was never the opportunity for him. We got the Darvish. We got to Avila, Michael Walker looked like he was pitching well. And then we got to him.

I'll repeat the same thing. Bill Schroner said at the beginning of this series is when he was filling out his lineup card. When I look at the lineup every day, when I look at the players on that team, how is that team eight teams under 500?

Oh, I don't know. I like that's an all star team right there. And a little frustration you saw today, Manny Machado taking it out on the coolers, which everyone in the stadium could hear guy needs to calm down a little bit. Although, I mean, if you look at the lineup, like they are, they are loaded to T Soto Machado bowl guards, Garrett Cooper, Gary Sanchez is hanging on Trent Grisham. You know, it's so they've got, they've got as good of a two through five as you could like ever dream.

And then I don't know. I think they kind of missed. Like if you want to talk about a team missing their window, they went all in and missed it. And they're going to be in a world of hurt. They're going to be like the mats.

They might even be worse than the mats. Just Cameron mentions to teach struck out seven times a series alone. Yeah.

Sexy. So you're looking ahead to the Cubs as I think we should be Cubs, Cubs and Phillies for the next week. So Monday, and again, we'll go live Monday night, Monday, it's Wade Miley versus Jamison Tyon. Former pirate Corbin burns versus Justin Steele.

That game for those of you out of market will be on TBS nationally. Ooh. Okay. Okay.

And it's not, it's, it's, it's, it's not like an apple or a peacock. It's a, it's a game you can watch. I believe Sunday's games on peacock, crack noon, start okay. Brewers and then Wednesday day game. I think we might maybe go live for that one too. I'm gonna try to hit the lives this week, Monday night for sure. I want to do Packers a cut down day. That'll be Tuesday.

I want to do maybe another brewery game. I will be on CBS sports radio. I picked up Friday, Sunday and labor day. Oh, so you'll get a college recap. What time on labor day, but I'll have my Sunday one to five. What time on labor day?

TBD. I'm either doing, I don't know what show I'm doing yet. Okay. If you're doing the late show, you got a couple of good labor day match-ups for college football too. Oh yeah. And there's someone like Sunday afternoon. Yep. Like Northwestern or some shit.

LSU and Florida state. Maybe on Monday, Sunday night. Okay.

That's Monday, Monday. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Okay. So you'll get to college. You'll get a full roundup of college recap San Sunday.

You'll be able to do that. See, look at this. See you watch much college.

I spend a lot of money on draft Kings and law. There wasn't much going on Notre Dame, whatever. Uh, Vanderbilt. Have you seen their stadium? Oh yeah. It's like they're doing construction.

The scoreboard is up by cranes. They have no end zone. See, it's all like, it's pretty much like a high school, like two sides. Well, yeah. And eventually SCC is going to kick them out.

No. They got basketball. Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt's decent in basketball and they, in basketball, their sideline, their benches are beneath the basket, underneath the basket at their basketball stadium. Have you ever seen that before? Like, you know, the coaches are, are pretty much coaching from the side from the baseline.

Yeah. Sunday, no NFL this weekend, but you got Northwestern Rutgers on CBS, Oregon state and San Jose state on CBS, LSU and Florida state on ABC. And then Monday night is Clemson and Duke. Is that going to be weird to have the big 10 on CBS this year? A CBS is, is partial splitting this year with the big 10 and SCC next year, they go big 10, uh, full time. No, it's going to be weird is when there's four West coast teams in the big 10, Tim.

Oh, that too. But I'm that's next year. I don't care about next year. Reven wants to know if I'm going to do Sunday live streams after Packers games this year. As a matter of fact, I am.

You better. By the way, I had a dream that I worked for Bill Michaels for one show only. And I said, I'll do anything you want.

I'm not going to talk. I just want to produce and make this show as great as possible. And he said, I need you to drive to Appleton and replace a spark plug in my truck.

And I did, but then along the way I got in a fight with like some neo-Nazis very odd dream, but the spark plug was replaced and, uh, everybody was happy, but that was my dream. Uh, when do we want to do, I know I've asked you this before and you said it as we get closer, but, uh, have you done a win loss like schedule wise yet? Like, I know you probably did one when the schedule came out and maybe one a couple of weeks ago or, you know, back in July, but now should we do one like for real? Like, yeah.

Horvat and I did one when the schedule came out. We could update that. Should we update? Can we, can we do that? Like one of the lives this week or next week as we even get closer to week one before Thursday night, are you going to go live after the Thursday night game a week from Thursday? Yeah, of course.

I'm going to lie after all these games. Okay. Okay.

I don't work. Are you going to go live after Aaron Rogers, Monday night game? That is a possibility.

Yes. He did see some action. I almost went live after that preseason game. I watched it. You just should have gone live after his two series. First series looked like crap. Second one. I was going to go live after the preseason game this weekend, but I, I came back and passed out. I saw a tweet after he threw that touchdown pass and it said Aaron, all in caps, Aaron Rogers found his new Devante Adams.

Well, 17 Garrett Wilson. Sure. Sure. Brevin really wants you to get on the street and talk to someone. Well, you know, we tried to do that at the tailgate next year headphones so we can hear each other.

Cause that was a good idea. Where are you? Are you just chilling at a bank? I'm just hanging out now. Oh, I'll let you get back on with your day. No, I got nothing to do.

Oh, well, I wanted to talk. I wanted to try to stick brewers here, but I think eight in a row, we're four away from George Webb's. Well, that's right.

Yeah. You know, a sweep and a wind on Friday will get us to George Webb's. They're hot. It's the brewers in Seattle, two hottest teams in baseball.

I think right now. So I there's nothing much more you can say about the brewers. They're playing good offense. They got good pitching. Oh, maybe. Yeah.

Yeah. They got good pitching. Just they're doing it the way I think this team was put together. And there's, there's not much more to say other than just have you let yourself, I'm ready to buy, I'm like waiting for this email to come out for playoff tickets. Like I'm ready.

I'm ready to spend my, my money. But if you let yourself go, like go there, I don't want to say the words, go to the playoffs, world series. I mean, it's a bite to the appellee team. We all think they're pitching, but if they're going to be, if they're going to be scoring five runs every game in an inning, no, of course we'll see, you know, whatever first team we see and they'll just like, we'll go, like, we'll go 2011 brewers or 20 brewers.

I'm convinced I'm convinced the first round, the wild card, they will win that. What did Braun and Fielder combined for in that series against the Cardinals in 2011, like one for 47. No, they weren't decent. That was bad. Braun and Fielder in game one hit both hit a home runs. Remember that's when he got tested after game one.

I think I should get tested, tested for steroids. Not COVID. Gosh, probably got at the Packer game with all those, you know, green big. That was a Milwaukee game by the way. Yeah. People are bitching with that crowd. Like I wanted to, I just want to kill them. Pre-season game. People are taking their kids.

How many go pack goes to do that? There was no nothings of any than anything. Really? It was a bunch of dads being like, son, that's what a first down is.

And then everyone's like, why did they do the wave? We're just trying to get our kids to like sports. That's all wrong. No, not at all. All right. Well, Merry Christmas to you, sir. Not yet.

Another week or so. I'm celebrating. I will be at the Badger game this Saturday. Do you want to record that? Nope. Against the Buffalo Bulls. This was a, I'm pretty sure a Paul Chris and Lance Leopold scheduled game. Leipold, whatever his name is. Yeah.

It's pronounced both ways. I'm pretty sure this, that was that. So that's why they're playing them. Haven't seen a line on it. Maybe 27. That's why it's dumb to schedule this out. Seven years in advance. I know.

Well, I'm still waiting for that Virginia tech game that they keep moving back and back and back. What do you think the line is? 27 and a half. I don't know. Wow.

You're good at this. It's 28. Okay. I thought I saw 28, but Oh, I'm like, yeah, you can't leave it at a even number.

You need an odd. Well, as far as Midwest goes by, goodbyes go. This is a good one. I'm going to bid you adieu. All right. Take it easy. Go Brewers.
