Welcome into the Winklerverse.
I'm Bart Winkler. I am sitting outside the trap. There's the trap. There's Evan Longoria. I'm sitting on the ground.
I was looking for the news, but I can't find them.
So I don't know what's going on. I hope I have good reception. Can we get a? Can we get a good? Can we get a reception check?
Check one, two, check. Cibalance. That's a funny joke. Can we get a? Can we get a reception check?
You hear me, good wags? You hear me, nice and clear? Yeah. You guys been waiting for me, muffins? You've been waiting.
Let the party go. You've been waiting for my show. I'm trying to get headphones in, and then I. Start. I don't know what this limo is.
I think I'm by where the rays come out. There's a lot of people waiting. Um, I will put the link out also.
Okay, I'm going to start again. I make this professional. Hello, everybody. Welcome into the Winklerverse. I'm Bart Winkler.
I said morning. It is twelve eleven Eastern Standard Time. My flight is at five fifteen. I already went to the hotel. I got rid of the shirt I was wearing and the underwear.
Shirt worse than the underwear. This outfit's not going to last. I'm going to have to retire this hat also from the sweat. Just doing a podcast. They got the fancy equipment, and I'm sitting on the goddamn floor.
I don't give a shit. My team just won the World Series. The Milwaukee Brewers won the World Series.
So Wagner. Yeah, we talked to Andrew Wagner's here, and we're brought to you by First and Bull, Firstandbull dot com. Matt, right now I am outside Gate Five out of the Trop. I'm going to go over to Ferg's in a little bit, as long as my batteries are in check. I've got a phone that I was charging during the game.
I spent the eighth and ninth inning charging my phone, pacing in the outfield. My seats were four levels from the top. And they were fine. I had a nice chat with the old dude, and then yeah.
So let's first, first, yes, first, first. Could we first shit on William Christopher? Where the hell is he? Oh, I blocked him. Oh, unblock his ass.
But but as as as as much as you know, we're gonna talk and celebrate first. Why don't you guys listen to Uncle Barty?
Okay, I didn't need to do parade chairs. I, I told somebody I don't need to do parade chairs for the Brewers because every time there is adversity, they answer. This team, I have said it countless times, this team won't let us get into that Wisconsin panic mode, and so I had to lecture you guys during the Bucks. I had to lecture you guys. During this, don't doubt me anymore.
I didn't come down here to watch him fucking lose. And guess what? I didn't. I don't know what's going on the TV. Are they doing the euchre letter?
I have Murph is talking right now. How's he doing the euchre? I don't know.
Well, they're spraying champagne, so they must be done babbling. Um, they were probably. Fifteen thousand people watching the celebration at the end. Nobody left. It's just unbelievable.
So here's what I said on Channel Twelve earlier today. I said, I said, look, there's a lot of Wisconsin sports fan doubters, and a lot of you guys love that little notes app list that you have where you talk about how much Wisconsin sucks, right? Give me a mic check, Wigs. Yeah, you're good. All right, and I said if the Brewers win tonight, that's going to be that's going to be the Bucks, the Packers, and the Brewers that will have won a title in the last 15 years.
So I know we've had a lot of losses, and trust me. They are as heartbreaking as imaginable, and we have invented new ways to lose. But any list you have needs to be purged. It's over. Yep, it's over.
We just won the World Series. We won the NBA championship five years ago, and we won a Super Bowl within the last fifteen years.
Now that team is still wildly disappointing.
However, doesn't matter. You got the ring. We got it. We all of our teams. If you're of my age, all of our teams want.
In the last 15 years, what are we bitching about? What the fuck are we bitching about? And I did have people, because I said, if you're really going to do the raise, if you're really going to do the raise and think the rays are going to win, bet on it.
So. Kelsh owes me some money. Not Padawan to me where you should have placed those bets. Kelsh owes me some money because I got people to vote on their platform. Your thoughts on the game?
If you want to talk about the Brewers won the World Series. That was all it took. All it took was you and Euchre getting out of that dugout. No shit. Obviously, I I am entitled.
I think. Oh, that money's going to Wags. Forty nine ninety nine. Wow! World Series champs.
Never thought I'd see the day, Bart. You never thought you would either. Look at you. You're getting to celebrate. This is real life.
I can't believe it. Thank you for everything, Bart. For the Winkler verse. Yeah, I'm sending you that later.
Well, thanks. All right, you were saying. I mean, it was it was a typical Brewers' performance, and listen, I'm not gonna lie. I I thought there was a good chance that the Rays come out and just bash them tonight. You're seeing Miz for the second time again.
He was back on the wall. They're a much better team. The Rays are a much better team than they show in this series. And I'm not taking anything away from the Brewers. Brewers played fantastic baseball, and they overcame every challenge, every adversity.
I thought the Rays at some point would show up. They did not, and the Brewers did tonight. Simpson was about the only guy that did. Yeah. Yeah, none of those guys showed up.
Camonero, I thought was going to be. Aranda was not good. Yep. Yeah, they had they had a miserable series, and you can credit that to the Brewers' pitchers. Obviously, it was Miz came out there and pitched the game of his life.
It's a shame that he had to go out early with that cramp because I think he was roaring and ready to go. The bullpen held up. And they just strung together the offense when they got their opportunities. They weren't going up to the plate looking to bash it, looking to crush it, looking to make something happen. They did what they did all year, and the year before that, and the year before that is they take what the pitcher gives you and nothing more.
If the guy's not giving you anything to hit, they're not going to try. But when the the guy does make a mistake, when he leaves, when he hangs one over the plate, they're going to put it into play. If they get a pitch in the zone, they're going to try and do something with it. And eventually, they struggle enough together to make it happen. Hamilton, right in the middle of it again.
I mean, it was it was just a typical textbook Milwaukee Brewers game under Pat Murphy. I'm just a little worried that we did it. We did it. I'm just a little worried that well, my phone's at 73. That's pretty good, but I'm gonna have to get an Uber later.
So I went to the hotel, like I said. I am not. We did it. We did it. I am not going back to the hotel.
Wow, that's a ballsy move. I'm going right to the airport, and I'm showering in the bathroom. I'm going to. I have deodorant, and I'm gonna take a shower with shampoo in the sink. God bless whoever has to sit next to you on that flight home, dude.
I stink. I reek. I reek like like I reek victory. You know what I say last night? Subway.
Yeah, Subway and cousins. Oh yeah, cousins. Tonight I reek like. Oh, you want to know what I fucking smell like tonight? Blimpy subs.
God, it's amazing. Neither of us are gainfully employed. I know. Let's go, Brewers! All right, I'm gonna try to show people what's up here.
Okay, ballpark. I'll walk around and I'll try to. Ferg's okay. This Ferg's place. Yeah, the place that sold eleven hundred cases of beer yesterday.
Do you know why everyone loves Ferg's? Because the beer is cheap.
Well, because the next option is drinking your hotel room. Fair. There's nowhere else to go. That's why everyone fucking loves Ferg's. For I go to Ferg's.
I'm like, dude. I saw Scott Walker three fucking times tonight. Also. Nice. Yeah.
I have him on though. Ah, he looked like he was in a good mood. Why wouldn't he be? Yeah, I think everyone in Wisconsin's in a good mood.
Well, except for one guy in Whitfish Bay. Yeah. So, do you want to talk about him or what? Ah, I hope he's sucking it hard tonight. No one deserves to be cucked in this way more than him.
I mean, he's sitting in the Bart Winkler chair in that hotel room. Good job, Evan. Evan Longoria. All right. Only three states have won MLB, NBA, and NFL championships since 2010: California, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin.
Should let me guess. Look, it's W I N K. The news is Wink. There's a news here. W I N K.
All right, so the scene outside right now is pretty quiet. I think a lot of people are still inside. To be honest with you, yeah, it looks like from TV. Yeah, here's uh the trap again. This stadium is a shit hole, but I love it.
It's really confusing to get anywhere. And I sat on Mercury, and I'm kind of pissed because the ticket that I had here, I was a raised timeless ticket holder, and they stuck me up so fucking high. Jesus Christ! I'm so pissed. This is how long this World Series has been.
Timeless ticket feels like it was months ago. Months ago. Where's all the people that were bitching that they should have pitched Miz last night? Where are all of you clowns? Not only would that not have worked, I don't know who you're pitching today.
A big reason that the Brewers won this game was when they were getting rallies, they were not cashing in. They were only cashing in like one run. They had they had multiple innings where it looked like they could put up a crooked number, yeah, and they didn't. And then there was finally one inning. They scored a couple runs, but then then there was even.
I thought we need to get to five. I was not going to be safe at five. People were texting me in like the eighth, seventh, eighth inning. We did it. We're going to do it.
Nine ounce. I haven't answered any of that. I don't. I couldn't. I couldn't.
And then they won. And I call my wife, and I'm like, "Hey," and she's like, "What's up?" And I'm like, "We won." And then, because it was on delay, obviously. I mean, I'm here, and then they saw the final out, and that was awesome.
So it was. I'm very glad I came. Obviously, I just saw the fucking Brewers win a World Series. There's a little throng of people here. I'm going to get in front of.
Aaron joined the chat. What's up, Aaron?
Well, hello, Bart. How's it going? Good. How are you, man? What a what a what a night so far.
What are you feeling? Oh man! Yeah, I wish Yuke was here. I wish Yuke was here to see this. Ah, I mean that is insane, though.
That of all the years, of all, and they were building to this too. And and what's crazy is like everything—it worked. Everything we've ever bitched about for the last nine years, Wagner, and you've heard it all. Yep. This was the end game, and it worked.
Every trade led to this. Every decision, every stupid Mark Attilnazio side quest. I was shit posting some of the jackasses that were just ripping the Brewers back in August for not trading for Scooble. In my good buddy Matt Snyder at CBS, I believe he called them. Called them gutless cowards.
Well, I guess you. Snyder did the world champion gutless cowards. Hayden's here as well. Hayden looks a little teary-eyed. Yeah, unmute yourself, Hayden.
Oh, I'm sorry, man. Yeah, I had to explain to my wife, who's definitely not a sports fan at all, why I just cried like a fucking child. They, you just don't get it unless you get it. This, this means everything, and I'm not the only one. I'm sure everybody feels this way.
We all deserve this. I want a few more.
Okay, we're low. No, no, no, no, no, no. We did that. If you remember, I said that after game one. I said that after game one, and I, I'm gonna hold on that.
And okay. I'm fine. I, I mean, I, I don't want to say I could die happy because I'm definitely afraid of planes, and I'm still worried I'm going to do this and then fucking run off the runway in Baltimore tomorrow. But I am. I'm so fucking.
That would be my luck. I went to Baltimore. It is. You go two blocks over, and you're not safe. I'm not leaving the airport.
Great ballpark, but the area is not not safe. I will be in that. I've never been to Maryland. That'll be my first trip to Maryland. But airports don't count.
No, I agree. I agree. Um, I tried to I tried to walk by the press area, but that was like the one place that was actually guarded here. Otherwise, you can walk wherever the fuck you want. It's insane.
There's like little rooms of nothing. There was one room that just had PlayStation you could play, and it's this is the weirdest ballpark ever. I appreciate weird ballparks, but there's no way the Milwaukee Brewers should have won a World Series in this fucking place, but they did.
So good. Bigger walking over to Forbes. Bigger, the same, or less than the Bucks winning the title. I would like to say this. I think that I've always been unsure of my pecking order.
Um, I think I'm a Brewers guy more than a Packers guy. And see, I I heard them talking the other day. I don't remember who it was, but they were kind of pointing out that the crowds were bigger in the Deer District for the for the Bucks Championship. And it was actually it was actually our former boss and. He's like, you know, I thought there'd be more.
I'm like, listen, this is way bigger than the Bucks title because the Bucks title. Let's be honest, there are shit ton of bandwagoners that did not know the Bucks existed until Giannis' like third year, and then they they got hot, they got the new arena, and everyone to be part of it. It was the fun. Ah, is that how you follow me? Hold on, it's Carl from Carl's place.
Carl, Carl's like Bart. You need to mention my show or my place more. Didn't say that. And I said, I said, no, Carl. You're getting what you're paying for.
And then he said, God damn it, Bart. If I have to come down to the trop, to fucking find you and get some more. Carl's place, love. Hey, buddy, we did it. Hey, it's Carl.
Um, you can't hear them, but they can hear you on my mic. I've been listening.
So, um, you want to say anything? Just you can pick it up. How about that one, folks? That's all I've been thinking the whole time. What are you doing now?
This. I have my flights at seven.
So did you get a hotel? No. You didn't either. No. Wait, you didn't just hang out and go sit in there?
No, he didn't get a hotel. Yeah. But I thought you got a hotel part. Yeah, I was gonna say if you want to ride, I can. You could have my.
I have a car here.
So. Oh fuck. Yeah. I have a hotel. Yeah.
I said I didn't, but I do. But my flights at five. Yeah, I gotta return the car at like 4:45 anyway.
So whenever it's time, we go to the airport. And I was planning to just sit sit around for a while either way.
So I don't have anything at the hotel. I brought it all here. There you go. I don't have anything. Whenever you're ready, we'll.
I was gonna look good. I see. I see two people that were pending the doom last night are here. I'll just I'll just hang on over here. Not good.
All right, Ben W. I'm calling you Ben W. I don't think you put it, but I didn't put it because I can't put any abbreviation that can, you know, encapsulate what just happened. G dog money, dream come true. This is for all of our relatives we have lost that love the Brewers.
Most importantly, I get to enjoy this with my two boys tonight. I'm Serena Williams, and I'm healthier on Ro. I've lost 34 pounds in a year with GLP-1s, diet, and exercise. On Ro, you can access GLP-1 options, including the first FDA-approved GLP-1 pill for weight loss. Go to Ro.co/journey to see if you qualify.
14 to 20% average weight loss in one year in non-diabetics with obesity or overweight with a weight-related medical condition versus 2.2% to 3.1% in placebo arm. Rx only. To stay informed. Serious side effects. Go to road.
co/safety. Hi, it's me, your gutters. I want to start by saying I'm fine. Everything is totally fine. There's just there's a lot of debris up here, and I've been managing it mostly on my own for about eight months now.
And I just thought maybe you could find someone on Angie to clean me up. You don't have to make it a whole thing. It doesn't need to be a whole thing. I just I could really use your help. Your gutters have waited long enough.
Find a pro at Angie.com. That's great. This is what it's about. And off of what you were saying, Wagner, I don't think I know. You got me.
Check, check, check. You got me. Good. Yeah. Yep.
Off of what we were saying, the other thing with the box that people need to remember is. Yes, this the Brewers. Everybody knows the whatever the Bucks. A lot of people did jump on once Giannis got good. There's a lot of people that don't know, and they're kids.
So what are you going to do? But also, that summer was right after COVID. There was no Summerfest that year. Going down to the Deer District was Summerfest.
So a little bit of stolen valor, my new favorite slang. From the Bucks to claim those were all Bucks crowds because really it was a place for underage kids to go and drink. That's what it was when they were cooped up in their house for the last twenty-four months. This is different. This you had the you had Miller Park sell out three nights in a row, even with the insane prices just for a watch party.
But people paid them. This what we did in this stadium is. Bonkers, okay.
So this clears, with all due respect. I mean this this clears. It is a little shameful that they had to win in the year that they had the Wisco jerseys. Yeah, but what can you do? I thought for sure they would break those out for the for the postseason just to sell more of them.
Well, why did the Rays? The Rays went Devil Rays, and then they won with Rays. And then they wore reds again tonight. What the fuck? Oh, we got a we got a Bree video.
We got a Bree reaction video. I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna slide into Bree's DMs and send her the link and tell her to come on the show. Yeah, do it. Get her in here. All right, Aaron, you want to say anything else?
Uh no, just it it what a what a night what a night it's gonna be, I don't know how I'm not gonna sleep tonight. No, no, no sleep. It's no sleep. Wow. Just, just how, just how, just how far, just from like the the from the Prince Fielder.
Like Prince Fielder, Braun, those days. Just until now, how long it took? It just wow. I mean, you can go back. Even the glory.
I mean, oh god. You know what? We're never gonna hear 1982 again. I was just thinking that we never have to talk about '82 again. Yeah.
What are we gonna do? The 50th anniversary in 2032? Fuck that. We're gonna do the 60th anniversary of this team. All right, I told my dad that today.
We don't have to worry about that ever. You're talking about 26 for the rest of your damn life. Yeah, we're 26.
Sounds good. All right, I'm gonna shuttle people. Is this a dream yet? I don't know if this is a dream yet. I can't.
Yeah, Aaron, this isn't real. And it it doesn't seem real. Do you guys hear that awful guitar? What is that?
Well, that is terrible. Definitely a Gibson. Fucking Gibson. All right, um, Aaron, I'm gonna let you go. Thanks for jumping on.
Hayden, what do you got? Are we good? I I'm good. I'm gonna end it here because I have to get on a flight in. Fuck five hours to go to Madison, then go to Green Bay for Thursday night football.
Oh, the Packers play tomorrow. Yeah, I'm sorry I had to bring that up. Unfortunately, it's my first game at Lambeau, so I'll enjoy that. Yeah, gonna gonna have gonna tailgate all that all that jazz. But it take it all in.
We all we all deserve this. It's been a long time coming, and the thing is, if we have baseball next year, fuck it, whatever. We have this. That's that's at the minimum. But if we have baseball next year, this team's not done.
It just is not. We have an organization that hasn't figured out, in my opinion. Who we traded first? Who we traded first? Oh, I talked to my dad against Harris.
Now he won. Oh no no no no no. Cotteris is going to get signed. I pay him whatever the fuck money you want. I don't.
I don't care. Bowers, Bowers is gone. And and I talked to my dad about this. I don't think you trade Frelich. I think you have to keep him.
I think you have to keep him. Just because he's like he's like he's like the team mascot. I don't know.
You can't you can't get rid of him. He's the mascot. That's great. He just gives it everything he's got, man. He also was injured this year, so whatever.
But I don't know, man. But they got a good thing going, and when baseball gets back, they ain't gonna stop. Oh, we got some breaking news. We got some breaking news. The Brewers have announced the World Series parade will be this Friday at 10 a.m.
It will start at the intersection of Fourth Wisconsin and proceed through downtown Milwaukee before concluding at Henry Meyer Festival Park. It will include a championship rally and fan festival. I think that's Friday. Friday at 10 a.m. I think I can make that.
I think I can make that. I'm gonna have to. Yeah, you're gonna be here anyway. Oh sh! Yeah, I'm going to talk to my cousin.
We're going to fucking Milwaukee. Let's go. Yeah, go. I got to figure that out. Keep crying.
Have a good night. Thank you, guys. Everybody, glad to see Brett. Bye. Where's Jake?
I need a report from the parking lots. Hi, guys. Alex, what's up, Alex? You say some stuff. Yeah, so I was very I was very relieved that last night what didn't end up end up end up last night basically was forgotten.
I knew they would they would do well tonight, but the Rays were tired and they were very inconsistent, and the pitching staff was all messed up, and they looked tired. They were very slow around the bases, and so tonight was a was a great night. I. They didn't. the the the Rays never put pressure on the Brewers at all.
Then they never really got two consecutive hits going, except for that runner at third in that in the fourth inning. But it was this is very this this means more, way more that Packers championship because the Brewers, you know, we watched the nineties, we watched the two thousands. They Let us down for all those years. They were never, never. They were one of the worst teams in all sports, and and it's so such a such a very touching night to be able to to experience a championship.
I, you you just you never knew knew if it would ever come.
So I'm very very happy in that. It's a tribute to all Wisconsin. We we we are in it. We deserve it more than anyone else. As much as anybody else.
Maybe we don't need to get in compare mode. We always do. I think with this one, the Brewers. I just never felt like it was. It still didn't feel real.
I mean, it's never gonna feel real. This, it just was the Brewers. They were just, they were. They were never, and they did it, and and so now we live in a world where the Milwaukee Brewers have actually won a World Series. They're not cursed, or maybe the curse was broken.
Cause you died, we said that the other night. Ben, what are you thinking? You know, I unfortunately am not in Milwaukee or Wisconsin right now, and I just feel great for everybody who is there. And you know, I I think you know Bart, Wags, all you guys, Winklerverse, that I can share this moment like with some people. I'm alone.
Yeah, like, but it's still an amazing moment. To text family, text you know people. It's just, it's a thing of beauty. More, more breaking news from the the Twitter world tonight. Johnson Creek EMS in Jefferson County is responding to a firework accident after the World Series win.
The victim suffered a mostly amputated hand, with almost all fingers blown off and missing. Oh my God! Remember that Simpson where Homer was on was in Japan, but he was on on that laundry detergent mascot in Japan. Mister, oh, Mister Sparkle, Mister Sparkle, I can say it that way because that's how the Simpsons. I'm not.
He is disrespectful to dirt. By the way, breaking news: There's no feud between William Contreras and Jackson Churro. There's absolutely going to be no feud. They won a championship together at Venezuela, so everything's all great. Who's saying there's a feud?
What are you talking about? Because because they because you know the MVP thing, but you know, oh, there's the the this team is the greatest team we've ever seen. Everybody does their own part. Nobody wants fights for the credit more than any of the others. It's a great, great thing to see.
This was the greatest team I've ever like team. I think I've ever seen. I don't know.
The bottom of the lineup's kind of not great. Pratt went six for six.
So okay, so they all right. You're right. I'm Hamilton hit a home run to Tim. I mean, it was yeah. Take it out, Tim.
A post. It was an absolute miracle. Ah, Jake. What's up, fellas? Talk it up, Jake.
I'm uh, I'm going through it a little bit right now. This is um, I feel a lot like Brett Favre talked about being on the podium after Super Bowl 31, and you could see it in his face, like it was this like somber look where you realize it really was about the journey, and it's over now. Um, finally said yes. What's that? Cindy, Cindy Crawford finally said yes.
Oh yeah, we finally got the model. But yeah, it was, it was. I went to a friend's house. This was the same person that I bought tickets to see the Bucks win the championship with.
So we were like, we got to get this good juju going. And they, you know, they win.
So that was cool. I was, you know, really I was in shock after it was over. I was just dead silent, and then when they interviewed Miz on the field and he started crying, I started to get a little emotional.
So it was, it was just again the happiness came. I drive home and it was very much an emotional unpacking during the drive because you just start thinking about. Your life, the the team, and all these memories you have associated with it, and I guess it's it's so odd given that I usually have a lot of things to say. There isn't a lot to say tonight, other than like this is amazing, and I'm so happy. You know, we a lot of people mention like, oh, they just name a bunch of brewers or whatever.
And then everyone names their grandpa or whatever, their dad. Um, I I think about I I think about myself. I think I think about every time I've gone to any game. I think of all the different people I've gone to games with. I met a friend here tonight.
She lives in the area. She brought her son. His kid's eight years old. He's seen the fucking Brewers win a World Series. That's sick.
I ran into Carl, big Carl. I ran into Carl, but like, just what do you want to do? To even like when I didn't live in Milwaukee, and you go down to the Brewer game, and it's such an event. Or, um, when you live here, and you're like, fuck, it's Tuesday night, it's six fifteen. You don't go to Brewer game, you know?
Just like we've put so much equity into our team, and we're always there for them. And then, and then they were finally there for us tonight. Yeah, I like to think that Q is somewhere punching like a wall because Mark Attanasio got a World Series and he got to hold the trophy first. Q, I hope you're all right, buddy. For the rest of the Winkler versus Austin, I hope you're okay and awake and and.
Cognizant of what's going on, hopefully that wasn't him in the fireworks accident. Yeah, I just saw Frames on TV standing right next to Miz, and Frames was soaked, which was hilarious. And Bart, I think I texted you. Oh, Rick Schlesinger is on TV. Schlesinger was trying so hard to get into the middle of the fracas when they were on stage.
It was hilarious. If you know, you know. Yeah, six dollar vouchers. We're still waiting. Um, yeah, yeah.
What was that about the six dollar vouchers? Yeah, wasn't that something that they were? It was like they're trying to get a perk, and it was like you can't buy anything with six dollars. Oh, remember the hot dog club that they fucked up too? Yeah, it's that well oiled machine over there.
Remember last year on opening day when they didn't trim for parking because I couldn't figure it out. Um.
Well, also I think Schlesinger—that's your classic example of a guy failing upwards. Also, yeah. Oh God! I want to forget that. These are all my friends.
Woo!
So when I worked for the team, I worked in the visiting clubhouse, and my boss. Brewers. This was 20 years ago. He was going through a midlife crisis, and I see him on TV in the dugout tonight, and he's still going through a midlife crisis 20 years later. It's amazing.
Rosie is a perpetual midlife crisis. That guy's an animal, man. Worst boss I ever had, but I still love him somehow. The Rosin Bag. That dude is a light.
Him and Tony Migs are going down with the ship, man. My old boss, he he manages the visitors' clubhouse, and he was. I said he was going through a midlife crisis twenty years ago. Yeah, and he still is, and the biggest Napoleon complex you'll ever see. Do you think they will lose tonight?
Shea probably knows what I'm talking about too. He's probably abused Shea before. I'm guessing. Do you think if they would have lost tonight, we would have won Game Six? I do.
Yes. Yeah, without a doubt. Yeah, because they're nervous as fuck. It really was a gentleman sweep. Yep.
And I do feel bad because there was nothing about Tampa Bay that is villainous. They're not like they're completely likable. They have no, you know, dickhead douchebags on their team. I'm walking around pacing while Rays fans are sitting there like about to cry, and I like feel bad for them. Yeah.
Then you don't. Then then I saw one guy go like. One guy was like, "Hey, hey, you got a hell of a team, man. That never fucking makes me feel better." Well, this is like if the Packers beat the Buffalo Bills in the Super Bowl. Like, you don't feel good about that.
And the Rays, I do feel bad for because like they've been the Brewers for the last twenty years, and they've been better at being the Brewers than the Brewers have. They just they can't get that last bit over the hump. And this was just wrong place, wrong time for them this year. It seems like that's the case every time they get to the World Series, too. Yeah, I mean, every 2008 they ran into that Philly squad that was just a wagon.
2020 they run into the Dodgers, and now this Brewer squad. Yeah, it feels like the National League is the Western Conference and the American League is East. I mean, you got us and us and the Dodgers are basically the Spurs and the Thunder, so. Go Thunder. Wemby Otani.
They lost Jalen Williams. That was brutal. Yeah, yeah, that was that was painful. And now they traded away that in the off season they traded away Wiggins and another guy.
So now that they're they're getting thinner and thinner. They're dependent on Iowa legend Iowa legend Bennett Sturts. And they could have drafted Yakso Lendenborg, but they took the big center instead. Dumb. I think the Brewers are like the Thunder, though, in a sense that oh, there's there's all kinds of we're geared up.
Yeah. Okay. There's all kinds.
Sorry, I just need to interrupt. There's a there's a picture and picture going on right now on Fox Six. We did it. We've got Robin Yount in the clubhouse, and they for some reason have a picture and picture with Schlesinger still fucking talking. He's been talking for twenty minutes.
Talk to my buddies. On the podcast here, yeah. What's your name? I'm Riley. I'm Riley Jones.
Man, I've been waiting for this my whole life. My dad was 13 last time the Brewers went to the World Series. Man, my grandpa. That's Tim Shea.
Alright, buddy. Ah, it's beautiful. We did it. We did it. Where are you going now?
I I've got to go to the hotel, and then I'm flying home, and I'm gonna tell every one of my family members. We're like, are you sure? I'm gonna tell them I'm wrong. That we're you got a ride or what? I'm good.
Where you going? I got a ride. I got I got somebody. This guy's like, get me away from this guy. We did it.
Boys, we did it. We did it. We did it. I think you let him go into the wind. I think he's already two sheets into the wind, or whatever that phrase is.
Seven sheets. Seven sheets. Thank you. Are you a Tampa guy? No, I'm Milwaukee.
Where are you from? Oh, Spectrum. Yeah. Oh, what's your name? Blake.
Lake, I'm Bart. How you doing? I'm doing my podcast. I was on the radio for a long time, and now I'm banished to podcast land.
So I just...
Well, you guys have like sick gear. I'm just doing a laptop. No, I mean I do. I shoot a lot. What what happens first?
Pete Rose gets in the Hall of Fame, or Bart and I get jobs? I don't think we'll be alive to know. I'm just kidding. The Hall of Fame is to be sponsored by Kashi. I'm a didn't P.
Rose die? I thought they put him in. Oh yeah, right. Didn't they put him in? They put him in.
Yeah, because he died. I don't think. I don't think they put him in. The debate was whether or not he's now eligible to. Or did Trump just like give him a medal?
Tell death to you part. That's how the Hall of Fame works. This celebration, guys. I got a breaking news alert a few days ago about Roger Clemens' Congressional Medal of Freedom. I don't give a shit.
This celebration looks fun right now. The Brewers were just like interlocked in arms and swaying back and forth and singing a song, but I can't tell what song they were singing. I want to know what's going on in the parking lots of the ballpark, like. I saw a report. They were interviewing people.
It didn't look like it was crazy, which was kind of shocking to me. Like, yeah, I thought it'd be an all-night tailgate party. Seemed pretty demure. My wife said the whole neighborhood was going off in fireworks. Yeah, there were dipshits out here setting off fireworks too.
I'm not too long. It was probably like five minutes. Yount's rocking two baseball hats right now—one backwards, one forwards—and he's talking to Logan Henderson, who looks like he doesn't know who he is. I mean, that one. Hold on, I found some guys.
What's up, guys? Yesterday, from back in Wisconsin. What are your names? Paul, Paul, Greg, Greg, from Manitowoc. Lived in Charwell.
You don't right now, though. No, I live up in Manitowoc. Great Jersey. Hey, ask the Manitowoc guy if that guy killed her or not. New Jersey is so appropriate for us to remember where he came from.
Hey, did the Manit ask the Manitowoc guy? Did he kill Teresa Hallbach? Is innocent or guilty? We're not talking Teresa Hallbach. Hey, you said Manitowoc.
You ever think you'd see this gentleman? Never. How does it feel? It feels awesome. I mean, it's surreal.
Does it feel like it's not even really happening? Yeah, it feels. It feels. It's like numb, man. Because you're you're going.
I'm going to wait 44 years for this. I mean, well, 44 years to get back. To get back. 57 for the franchise, right? We.
So I'm doing my pod. 65 days of just. I'm doing my. I'm doing my pod, and last night I was doing this. And after we lost, everyone was complaining, and they thought that we were going to blow it.
Were you guys worried about that? That we didn't pitch Miz on no rest? You know, because he kicked ass today. He kicked ass. I figured he'd go at least six innings.
Wags, did you keep your list? I wrote it down, and then I don't know where the damn notebook went. Oh, sorry. Show, I'm doing the show. I forgot this was your show, Bart.
I'm sorry. This guy's got a Don Money autograph. Jersey, that's how long. Autographed. Unless he wrote Don Money himself, I did not.
I swear to God, that's a real. Be sure that's not Eddie Money. Hey, Don Money autograph don't just grow on trees. I have that guy had two tickets to Paradise tonight, huh? I have an update on the parade, and it's the most Brewers update ever.
Update on the parade Friday. Yes. Admission to the Henry Meyer Festival Park grounds will be free to all fans until capacity is reached.
However, tickets to be seated in the American Family Insurance Amphitheater for the rally speeches will be available today with staggered season seat member presales starting at 10 a.m. and the public sale at 2 p.m.
So those are going to be sold for 300 bucks online. God, the Brewers will find anyway, anyway. This should have been held at the stadium. It should have been free. It should have been like Blue Mound.
It should go down Blue Mound. Like I'm pretty sure the Brewers have an Angel Fire website as the main website. Wait till Sunday, Alex. I'm gonna say goodbye to you. I'm gonna bring in banana.
Okay. Bye, guys. Have a good one, buddy. Have a great night. All right.
Stay up all night. Great show. Great podcast. Excellent podcast. When you guys leaving?
I'm fine. I was gonna be six tomorrow morning. I ain't doing that. I'm flying out Friday night. Oh, you're gonna extend this thing?
Yeah. I had a. I couldn't go to the Packers game. Was that? Have you been Ubering home, or did you guys drive here?
I was curious what the best strategy to get an Uber is. Like, if there's like a. Best strategy in Uber is. I don't. Like I.
Last night I did. Last night the guy I talked to said he got an Uber for about a hundred bucks. Yeah, I got an Uber for eighty five bucks. You can comp that, right? I did.
I just like Bart. Ask him about their thoughts on the Bucks this year. Hey, do you guys have any thoughts on the Bucks? I know they didn't last year. Man, they don't give a shit.
Bucks lost tonight. One, one, right? Yeah. I don't know.
I I don't know. I don't know what I'm doing either. Yeah, the honest sacrifice has been complete. We got our title, guys. Also, for new Winklerverse merch, can we get a Wags?
You just made the list T-shirt. Ooh, that's a good idea. Can you put the names on the shirt? Like, put the names on the list. Put the names on the shirt and like cross them off.
Like, yeah, yeah, forever. No, I know William Christopher was one, and then. Kitten mittens was kitten mittens was another one. Bunch of bitches, and then there was like some flack or flock guy. I saw I saw kitten mittens pop up in the chat.

Kit Mitten was in here. There were a lot of people in the Brewers. Just muted himself. I love this. Just an absolute fucking clown show of idiocy last night.
The dumbest fucking human beings, and you don't get to celebrate this. I'm glad you're not letting it go, too. You were the same people that bitched and moaned that the Brewers are doing the same old bullshit by not trading for Scooble. Fuck you. The same people that said the series is over and another Brewers collapse after the Padres lost.
Fuck. You, the people that were bitching about Murphy being an idiot for not pitching Miz last night, and the collapse is coming, and this is the Red Sox all over again. Double fuck you! Yep. Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with you people?
And own it. Like, why aren't you here admitting you're wrong? Because you're little bitches. Wags. I'm bringing Drew in the chat.
Wagner, Ben, Jake, Banana, Drew. Um, before I go to Banana, hello. Before I go to Banana and Drew, I want to double stamp everything Wagner just said. Last night was bullshit. I shouldn't have even entertained as much as I did, honestly.
And and this this has to stop now. You're champions in every sport you like. You're champions. Even like the Wave won a title.
So now my two goals are. Milwaukee Panthers basketball Horizon League champs and USA win World Cup. That one's out. Banana. What do What do you think?
I was at the watch party, fifth row, right next to the third base dugout tonight. Had a whole bunch of these things fall on me after the game. Was great. Gotta keep those. Oh, for sure.
I brought the two minis with me. They actually did great too. Oh God, yeah, they did great, and they were hearing tool time on your former station on the drive home, and hearing all the people saying, "Oh, it's been 44 years, blah blah blah," and they're like, "Oh, now I get it." And now, but to that point, can we actually finally bury the '82 Brewers and stop celebrating them like? I mean, we we we have a title now, guys. We don't need to celebrate being runners up, right?
Yeah, yeah. No, we we we've won it all. Fuck yourself, Jim Cantner. Hey, hey, hey! Nobody talks about that like Eden's Finest.
Okay, it's number seventeen. Time at least. Suck my dick, Rob Piccolo. Oh my goodness! I and the only reason I remember that because I like everybody else had that Milwaukee Brewers 1982 American League Champions pennant with the names on the side.
For whatever reason, Piccolo was at the top of that. It's mine. I had the World Series one, the World Series champ too. Actually, I don't know how the hell my grandparents got it, but yeah, I mean it should have been sent off to some third world country, but we got ours. Wags, yep.
Bart, didn't you say you were going to eat like a starting lineup figure if the Brewers win the World Series or something? Is that still happening? That's a wrap on hot take, Jake. Real one fell for it. Jake just out here violating every kind of copyright law.
Hang on, hang on. It's Christina Van Zelst. Hello. I wanted to show Wags because he was wondering what the stadium looked like, and they're just standing in orderly lines outside the stadium. Yeah, they want merch.
It was yeah. It was. Hang on, I'm watching. I'm watching Christina Van Zelst. Nothing else matters at this point.
We don't know what to do. Like we're we're. Hey, speaking of, what's the deal with that bitch with the wide eyes? The Cubs fan. What's what she fish eyes?
I sent. I I slid into your DMs and I sent her the link. Oh, come on the podcast. What is it, Bree? It's Bree.
Bree. She posted her reaction video. Kentucky Derby looking ass. I will have. I will have.
I will have no slander of Bree DeLeo. Yeah, me neither. I love. I'm not here to comment on looks. I'm here to comment on.
In the unlikely hey, you know what? I'm not going to kink shame you guys tonight. That's in the unlikely event of a water landing, Bree may be used as a flotation device. I mean, she knows how to swim. We know that.
She can breathe underwater. All right, let me. I want to play Bree's. I want to play a reaction since we keep talking about it.
Okay. They should have just brought her to the stadium. We unironically do love Brie here. Yeah, I love Brie. What did she say?
She she's good. Fuck that. Oh, sorry. Than me, Jake. We don't say that word here.
Sorry, I know. I went a little far. I went a little far. She's sad because she knows she can't get any more likes.
Someone AI'd her on a date with William Contreras, like she would say no to that. Come on. Yeah, didn't she has a video pinned where he chirps at her, and you can see her like blushing, like. She's a she's a closet Brewers fan. Can we all agree?
Yeah, that's that's what I mean by most of her stuff is clearly staged. She is she is the most tolerable of all those shit birds Cubs fans. Oh, true. Post reaction, that one guy that just screams in the microphone. He's the worst.
Maybe that's what I should have been doing all year long. Maybe that's what I should be doing. Or or I'll just do reaction videos to all the sports radio shows and newspaper. What's your name? Hi, Yazoo.
My name is Jason. Hello. And Jason, how many days have have you? You guys all Brewers. Yeah, we're just talking about how much we like the Brewers.
I don't know if you guys heard, but the Brewers were in the World Series and they all they won, dude. No shit. They won, dude. They won, and that's the best thing that's ever happened to me. Oh, I'm on the wrong feed.
I thought this was the Foot Fetish Anonymous group meeting. I'm sorry. I gotta go. No, I'm doing that with Carl later. It's the same chat.
It's the same chat. Yeah, you know, it's. Yeah, we we we love feet and we love the Brewers. There's there's the pull quote. This is there is the headline for this episode.
We love feet and we love the Brewers. I'll allow it. This is just Bart live streaming trolling grinder right now. I think. You're all good.
You're gonna find your party. No, no, Jake. If it if he was trolling grind trolling grinder, his shirt would be off, just like at the Bucks. Championship, well, and he would be at it like a Republican event. That's when the grinder servers always go down.
That is true, and that we wouldn't see Bart.
So, I mean, he's got the red beard. I'm just trying to get home, you know. Aren't we all? Trying to get home. Yeah, I'm trying to get home too for Friday.
Hey, real quick, I like the Brewers World Series merch. The merch is dope. Yeah, love you. I think I want to get that black on black fitted hat with the World Series champs. Yeah, it made me realize like I hated the Bucks championship merch.
Like the hat was cool, but why did they go with the white shirt? Because it looked cheap. Can we talk about the double smoke show that is the desk on Channel Twelve? Shane, Shane Gillis, ladies and gentlemen, Shane Gillis. No, never Shane Gillis.
Where's Channel Twelve? Are they outside? No, they're on the desk right now, and it's oh, and Diana, get over here! Get over here! I'm talking to people.
Yeah, well, I'm trying to do my Shane Gillis impression. Hi Sue, coming. I'm doing my show right now. You want to talk? You're gonna send her over here, not you.
Yeah, get. Get some other like chromosomes here on the on the show here. Oh, and we have the first dumbass comment of the night. Let's make sure Attilio doesn't try to go to a Tampa area pawn shop and try and sell the commissioner's trophy for cash. Seriously, I'm going to add you.
You just made the list. Fuck you too. Made the list. See, one of the last times I was on the Elwynklerverse, and I think Andrew, you're on, and I think Hot Take Jake just uh dropped off at that point. I said I was wrong about how Mark actually did things over the last year or so.
Um, I called him cheap ass so many times in the past. I know Bart, you've heard me do that. I mean, I was going to talk about this later in the show, but I'll I'll touch on it now. It's one of the people that needs to get some credit in all this. Is Doug Melvin, who he laid the foundation for, but also saw the writing on the wall and saw the direction the game was going, announced he was stepping down.
gave gave Mark enough time to go out and find a guy like Stearns, and then for Mark, who. I don't think he gets nearly enough attention. Listen, he was a quote-unquote meddling owner. Got to be starting something. Those those big signings that everyone bitches about, and again, I defend the Soupon signing, and I always will.
But the Garza signing, the Loesch signing, that was agents. That was Boris going past Melvin directly to Mark, and Mark trying to buy success.
So for Doug to step down, for David to come in, and for Mark to understand. That is not the way to have consistent success. And again, it goes back to the whole bite of the apple thing we all like to make fun of. But give credit to Melvin for stepping down and seeing what was coming. Credit to Mark for buying in to the belief and the system and sticking with it.
Sticking with it for these last couple years, especially after the playoff losses, and understanding that the system that's in place is working, and it's going to get them to where they go. I mean, he easily could have said, "You know what? Fuck it. Pull the trigger on the Scubal trade. The future be damned." Now, yeah.
Now to your point, Andrew, he should take a victory lap. He should almost be like. Uh guys, I'm Mark. I'm nice. I'm mild-mannered, whatever.
But can I just say quick, fuck you to everyone that doubted me? Yeah, that's exactly it. That's that's the element. I want to. I want him to come out at the rally.
I want him to come out the rally like Shaq rapping about Kobe. How my ass tastes. Hey, Bruce, tell me how my ass tastes. Also, Mark Adonasio, elite wife guy, shouting out his wife on the podium right away. Oh, I met her.
She's a real bundle of sunshine. She is. Yeah, they are. They are polar opposites. If you ever get the chance to meet either of them, oh my lord!
I've never met Debbie, but that bitch turns people to stone. Yeah, lovely. You know the opposite of a channel twelve desk here, Wags. Right, and right now they got and they got Diana and the double box.
So it's like triple play. Where are they? They're on the desk and on the field. Yeah. Oh, okay.
So they all set up on the field because I went to look for them. But yeah, they're all in the field. Yeah, there's some jaber looking for someone to interview, and he just gave up. That's kind of fun. Yeah, that's usually how this shit goes.
So, can I let me tell you guys about their fifty-fifty down here?
So they won the entire game, the whole game. And also, if you buy it before first pitch, it's double bubble. Yeah. So I got. I'm gonna.
I'm gonna check. What is double bubble, Bart? When you get two for the price of one.
Okay, I learned something new tonight. You didn't know that. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. You should know that. Is that not a common phrase?
No, is that not a common phrase? Double bubble. Double bubble is like two drinks for one. Right. Like or that or bubble gum or something like that.
Yeah, that's like a up north supper club thing. You get you get your drink and then you get a coupon for the next one. Yeah, yeah, I, I, yeah, it just didn't make sense in terms of fifty-fifty. But I digress. Here's a here's a random stat that even has me floored right now, courtesy of ESPN.
The Brewers are the first major league team in fifty-seven years to win one hundred games during the regular season and the World Series. The last team to do it was the '69 Mets, and before that, the 1910 Philly Athletics.
So you you think about some of the great teams in history that won the World Series, didn't win 100 games, and 100 team game winners that didn't win the World Series. But to your point, Andrew, this is honestly one of the great teams. In terms of being a team, though, instead of having a pure play superstar chew on that top to bottom, overall it is a consistent team. I'm not going to go and talk about Captain Morgan, David Hamilton, but overall that team is a team, and that's why they won, and that's why they're great. If Churio hits one home run, is he the MVP?
Maybe I mean, but it's it's hard to ignore the impact that Contreras had on the game, and I'm glad that it got recognized. While building the ABS, so good behind the plate, he was so good at throwing dudes out. The ABS and his performance at the plate. I mean, usually that award goes to like the best pitcher or or just the guy with the most you know OPS to to recognize what Contreras did. All around in that series, and listen—you could make an argument for about four other guys, like Ashby, Ashby, Trouty, Pratt.
There were, I think, countless guys. Giving it to Contreras is also just like a good recognition of what kind of team this is. Like it's just very—it was a good call. And that he drives a lot of that team. We all love Yelly.
We all love the captain, but. In many regards, this is Wild Bill's team, and Bill was consistently good throughout the whole. I know it's a World Series MVP, but he was awesome in all three rounds too. He just was the consistent guy. It is going to be funny when he gets traded in the off season, though, because I think that is.
Do not wish that evil upon us. There is no one in that position that says that too soon. About this the other day, he is not interested in an extension. He is absolutely cashing. He commented in response to that that that news report, saying false, and literally made it very clear in a reply.
To that on Instagram, saying false. I'm going to take Bill's word on this one. I mean, I was standing five feet from him when he said it.
So, who's his agent? Because there's no way he's like he's signing a deal before free agency. He's with Octagon. I agree, but he's not getting traded this off season in all likelihood. I mean, who will they put behind the plate?
I mean, Carol's never going to be ready. It's Iron Man. Jacob Mattingham. I felt like Mattingham was the guy for a couple years. We got the Sanchez.
He was the Jeffsels. The Sanchez is the free agent. He's going to go back to the Yankees, apparently. I've been trying to say something for five minutes. Barney's a side character on his own show.
I love so long because you muted yourself. But go ahead. Please try to help a drunk guy. Go Brewers! Oh, you've got yeah.
We're gonna let you go, buddy. Thank you. I'm talking. I didn't win the fifty fifty, and I think what they do is they say double bubble before early, and then then they sell the winner. I think they fuck you.
Yeah, that's what they do. I gotta be honest. I kind of like Wags as the center square here. I think we we might have a new era of the Winkler verse. What do you guys think?
Should we take a vote? What's the vote? The Wagner verse. Yeah, into the Wagner verse, and then at least people won't call it the Winkler verse anymore. I feel like I have to puke.
I have to puke. I didn't drink. I have to puke. I'm gonna be in this parking lot puking. Am I am I the Charles Nelson Riley of the Winkler verse?
Am I Richard Johnson? I don't know.
Tell us what goes on behind closed doors, Wags. Hey, Jake's Jake's Jake's Brett, that lady Brett that's always talking about sex. Kevin Holdem's the only one that would get the Charles Nelson. I'm Gilbert Godfrey. I got it.
I just said I'm Gene Rayburn. Is my audio not fucking on? You're on. Are you guys pranking me? No, Bart.
We really appreciate you checking in. I think we're gonna let you go, bud. We got we got Matt in the Falls that wants to jump on.
So, thanks, buddy. Good kid. I'm taking your podcast. I'm gonna I'm gonna drop off soon. I'm too understanding for this.
What a great win! Um, I'm gonna they announced the parade for Friday. What time? They haven't set a time yet, but it's going down Wisconsin Avenue. It's going to be at I think the Summerfest grounds or somewhere.
But I'm going to drive down from Indianapolis, drive up from Indianapolis for that.
So hopefully there's a little Winkler verse meetup there on Friday. There should there's got to be party in competition. I'm going to be going my calendar as soon as they announce the time and go with my meetings. Cancel, cancel, cancel, cancel, cancel, cancel. Bye.
Hey, it's not the ballpark, so maybe I'm allowed to go. Wait. Have a good evening, fellas. World Series champs is awesome. Have a good one, Drew Brewers.
Um, I'm not gonna bring my. I'm not gonna do anything for the. I'm just going to the parade. I I'll do. I still got to do picks with Horvat right tomorrow, and then I'm gonna do Packers, and then I'm gonna fucking sleep.
How drunk is Wisconsin's gonna be for like the next? Ninety-six hours. You have the Brewers tonight. You should not have school on Friday, right? Game tomorrow.
Brewers parade on Friday, and then it's your Wisconsin on Saturday. What's on Saturday? Halloween. Badgers during the more than Halloween at night. This this is going to be the drunkest weekend in Wisconsin history.
Wait, well.
Well, Packer game tomorrow. I mean, did you say that wings? Yeah. Who they play tomorrow? Packers tomorrow.
Parade Friday. Badgers and Halloween Saturday. Sunday will be the recovery day, I guess. Yeah. Is tomorrow going to be the least interesting Packer game of all time?
Like, is anybody going to give a fuck? I saw there were still tickets available. Like actual tickets available through the Packers website. Football is so dead, man. Holy shit!
I can't understand why anybody would want to pay to sit and watch a football game in person. It just boggles the mind. Fantastic take. Football live is boring product. I don't want to sound like an uppity person, but have you guys been to a box suite in Lambeau?
Oh no, I'm not that fancy. No, but I know Q's been to a Final Four. He's been to a Kentucky Derby. He's been to.
Well, I got really lucky through work to go, and it it changed my viewpoint on football. Like, yes, I agree with your takeaways, but like, if for some reason I fell into an opportunity like that again, it's definitely worth the price of admission. I also think Lambeau Field is a colossal overrated shithole, but. You said it. Yes.
Speaking. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Colossal, overrated shitholes. Kevin Holdens. Fincher. Hey, Blazer. Blazer.
Hey, guys. Did you just call me a colossal, overrated shithole? Maybe I meant I meant I meant I meant the drop. Hey, hey, Kevin is Shake Weight with you? That is fantastic, you guys.
Yeah, we're we're celebrating in Raleigh, and oh, hang on, we're celebrating in Raleigh, and we are coming up with a drink. Adam Adam is deciding what it what.
So we decided that the this drink shouldn't be really against Tampa. We like Tampa. It should be against LA because like so it's a fuck you LA shot, right? Also, by the way, trade you any jersey in my collection for that jersey that you're wearing, Mahler? Mahler, never mind.
Never mind. Which one did you think that I had? Was it? Did you think I wore the Skyhill? No, I just thought it was like the the.
89 to 92 Milwaukee Roadie. I love that uniform, but fuck Moller.
Now I, I'm crazy. I've got a Nurnan Paris. I got a signed Alex Claudio jersey. Yeah, no, I just like that style, that era of jersey, that road jersey. You know why?
You and I agree on Moller. I will. I will say that. Yeah, it's. I actually 1992.
Never forget. But I'm actually going all the way back to his Coke days and turning on his buddy.
Well, that I mean, I'm off the hell out of his Coke days, like.
Well, no.
Well, the fact that he turned on his buddy in order to get himself off the hook.
Sorry, Bart's raising his hand. My yes, Bart. Welcome back to your show, Bart. I want to show you guys the towel. Oh, don't do that, Bart.
Keep that to yourself. They put a player on it. They put Drew Rasmussen on the towel. It doesn't even say like "Let's go." So many people are spooging on Drew Rasmussen's face tonight. What's that to say?
That mouth is a little too wide open. That's those rally towels. They're good for one thing, man. They're a one-time use. Spinners, spinners or quitters?
Jesus! God, you guys! Wagner, stand up! Stand up, Wags! Stand up, Wags!
Oh no! No! Oh! He bent over. He bent over.
He's an ass guy. That's unbelievable. All right, he's going to take a leak. What else do we need to talk about? The Brewers won the World Series.
Drew's going. Like, what? Andrew's going to find his Raspbian Talbott, so you might want to just mail it to him for later use. I've been trying to talk hot stove for a while. I just wanted to say we get to revel in this for three sixty five at least, and it's going to be awesome.
Go Brewers and the Cubs band. I'm never going to say our trophy case is empty ever again. Ben, fly the W tonight. Go Brewers. Yes.
Go Brewers, Kevin. How do you feel? You got to cover this. Oh God, yeah. Oh, Scott was that right next to me from '58, by the way.
At for the last out, Kevin.
So so then, do you know what happened in the post game? Because it's one of my favorite things that's happening. I I probably shouldn't talk too much about it, but I'm going to say it. Adam Rife interviewed Gretzky and Sam Cuffel on 58 on live television tonight. Oh no!
Did he know? I had to, right? Did he work there when they work there? Oh, absolutely, yeah. That's amazing!
I said yes to it. They they were sending me snaps. Couple's like Adam Rice about to talk to us on fifty eight. I'm like live on fifty eight. Are you kidding?
Is that that's like hard record interviewing wags? Like, oh, do it, do it, Bart, do it. Yeah. Craig, Craig, when when when Jakim is around, was there any thought to bring him in at the end of game four? Oh, Keith Wagner, should I should I should I tell the story of 2020?
Oh my God, Wagner, should I tell the 2020 story? Is this a good time for it? Yes, always a good time. We're in, we're in Phoenix in in spring training in 2020. You guys know, you know, in the world view exactly what was happening and what was about to happen.
And I'm not sure what was happening with Hodrickort that day, but he he was on one, and I was for whatever reason the object of it.
So he was ripping into me. I still don't understand why. And he said, "You get to be here for three or four days, and then just go home and be on vacation." I wish the rest of us could. Go home and be on vacation, and he got his wish. Oof!
Yes, he did.
Well, I wish the rest of us could go on vacation. He was pissed. I don't know what he's pissed that he he walked into the the media workroom at Maryvale and just lit up Cruz because Cruz was sitting in his spot and we didn't have like a science spot. I'm here eighty-two days a year, hundred sixty games a year. That was, I mean, even for him, that was that was something.
But I just three weeks later, I wanted to send him a message like, "Enjoying your vacay, buddy." That's why I I wanted to, and I should have fought back after that bullshit last year. Because if they want to talk about outbursts in the press box, that dude tore me up in the press box countless times in front of my colleagues and peers, including after the clinch game in Denver in 2018, absolutely eviscerating me on deadline in front of the entire press box, calling me an asshole, a piece of shit, and how horrible I was because I made Ken Spindler. The PR guy give up his seat so I could have a seat to actually cover the fucking game because once again, media relations didn't include my name on the travel list.
Sorry, Bart. Who who knew that you could get Wagner going like this? This is very inside baseball. I love it. Wagner gave us the whole story last night.
The whole story. Todd's like easily one of the worst human beings I've ever met in my life. Like, honest to God, just. He really is the Prince of Darkness, then. Yep.
That's. I'm going to. I'm going to walk over to Ferg's.
Okay. And see if anyone's over there, and then I'm going to go to the airport. You need to get some sleep, buddy. I feel a bit like you look tired.
Well, I still need to watch two episodes of Vision Quest. Isn't that the show that Johnny Drama was on in Entourage? No, that was Viking Quest. Oh, wait, I think I think this shot is is a shot at Ben. I thought Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver were in that.
That's Home Improvement, dude. No, t here is like the they're aliens. Oh, that is the fuck you all. It is. More Coons, walky old fashioned.
Hey, sorry, Andrew is a colossal overrated shitbag. Since the tickets are now cheaper than a random game in the summer, how about a bucks tailgate now? Since you could probably buy everybody's tickets for like six bucks a piece, it's still a shot. Who's got the Galaxy? Galaxy card?
What is that?
Cheers! I do want to propose it in real time, though. This is on the books. Winkler verse Bucks tailgate. Where are we going to tailgate?
At your house? There's only going to be like three of us. Nobody's going to the fucking Bucks game. I'm not mad at that. I'm not either.
There's a there's a court order preventing me from showing up at that house as well. How we do it again? Yeah, it's all. Think of all the Patchy impressions, and then you could do Patchy versus Harder Court. Like that would be fun.
The Milwaukee Brewers have done it. They have finally won the World Series. What kind of beer?
Well, don't. I like, I like, I like. Holding, what's going on over there? Did you, did you see? We just took a shot.
That was outstanding, Holby. It was, it was called. What was it called? What was it called again? Fuck you, LA.
My man's from Detroit. Hey, Kevin, get the recipe for that. I'm gonna have, I'm gonna have Red make that for us next time we're in town. You're in town. Get me, get me up to Karma.
It's too bad that that parade is Friday, because as you know, high school football is a religion in the South. Or I would drive literally right now up there.
Well, next time you're here, we'll hit Karma. We can make that drink. We can do it together. American by birth, Southern by the grace of God Himself. By the way, Bart, your guy Joe on the on the call tonight was fucking terrible.
Just making up shit, trying to like manifest shit for the rays. Like he was insufferable tonight. And now, what pisses me off the most about the broadcast? Junior Camonero. What?
They do this awesome tribute to Eucher afterwards, but they don't do their homework, and they include the call, Milwaukee. The Brewers have won the American League pennant. Milwaukee, you have a World Series for maybe. Which is it wasn't Eucher educated us, right? They put a call in there that wasn't Eucher.
Yeah, it was Dwayne Mosley. Everyone thinks it was Eucher, but Eucher was already on his way down from the press box. Yeah, yeah. So this about that and his all the shit baseball he's had to see. Not only does he not get to see the Brewers win a World Series, he never even got to call them going to the World Series.
Oof! Yeah. What do you say on this on this post game right now? What would you say with us in the room? I don't know.
Let's go home, Bart. Did you hear that? During before they pop champagne, they did not have a letter from Yuke, but Murphy said he had a text message from Yuke. What story? And and I thought he missed out on a joke there because because Murphy said that's real.
Yeah, Murphy said they played a doubleheader, and they're letting me catch the last three innings of game two. I, I, honest to God, I thought Murph was going to say I helped you out with the Padres, I helped you out with the Dodgers, but I can't see the game under that dome. That that would track. That would track. All right, you came to say.
All right, thanks, Jim. We got a good one here today. Barbers baseball brought to you by Pinal Waterman. Actually, Sears is gonna end up crowd surfing before this night is over on Fox Six. I don't doubt though.
Like, all right, she's gonna get body fast. Hold on, Stephanie Sutton is on twelve right now. Where's Jesus Christ? It's Dario. Hey, oh, it's Daria.
Get it right. Hold on, hold on! I'm in the middle of the fucking street. Everyone, shut up! That's why we're talking, so you can walk, you jackass!
I'm gonna walk into Ferg's, show you what it's like, and get the ambiance.
Okay. Okay. We're going into Ferg's. Be barely, barely quiet. Here we go, Dwonks.
But where's the Brewers? Shut up, banana! Oh, there's Robin Young. See? Get out of there!
Abort mission. Your signal's all fucked. Oh, it's gonna end up being the Wagnerverse till five a.m. Where the fuck is Tim Shea, Dad? He better be stealing my mirror off the wall from McGuire's.
He can't reach that mirror, Andy. No, it's down. It's down on the ground. It's down. Oh, it is on a level.
Yeah. Okay, got it. And I can't believe we haven't got Austin tonight. That's disappointing. Can't believe we haven't got Q tonight.
He's on his dad. Oh, Q. Yeah, he's probably pissed. He has to give credit to Atinasio, right? And not everyone can say, "Hey, he were he was right in the end." Like I have, but you missed it, Holy!
I gave Atinasio credit and said, "I'm sorry for calling him a cheap ass yet again earlier tonight." Yeah.
So I tried to tell. If only we had another Matt Garza or another Jeff Souper, or that's what this team needs. Yeah, that's what this TV. Matt Garza running around. All right, I'm gonna wrap up.
Kyle Loj. Unless you guys want to keep going, I'm watching some weird ass dancing on Fox Six now. I'm actually only watching to make sure Bart gets home safe. That's yeah. I'm a little worried.
Why are you guys watching Fox Six? Why aren't you watching? Why aren't you watching like the clubhouse? I've got the multi screen on. There's fucking Chuck lurking behind.
Wait, wait! Did I just interrupt Heller slander? Yeah, Heller took time out of his busy day covering this as a credentialed member of the fucking media. Yeah, to pose for a picture on the field with Robin Yount. He took time out of getting wasted at on bourbon at ten o'clock in the morning.
They called it. They call that the Winkler. He left his he left his credential on for the picture, which is a big no no. Careful, you might get banned. And apparently, that is not in the spirit of baseball.
Spirit of baseball. And apparently, he's credential through his podcast. You have to be fucking kidding me, because Heller plays the game with them. He's these guy. The the more vanilla you are, the more access you get around here.
That and that is the thing that pisses me off about this entire World Series thing is the number of people that get to celebrate and enjoy and cover this that absolutely do not deserve this kind of joy in their life, be it in the Brewers organization or in the media. I didn't know. Tim, shake real quick. Tim, I didn't know. Tee, I was worried.
Tee, here we go. Here's I cannot hear you. Here's the feed from the water. Cut him off. Cut him off.
Yay! I'm Tee and Shay. I know people. Cut him off. That far?
Yeah. Look, as a sponsor of this podcast, I'm assuming. Holy 1999 choppiness! Hey, Jesus Christ!
Someone is talking. Oh, okay.
All right, all right. I'll get you later, Bart. We'll talk. It's I cannot hear you. It's crazy here.
Has he had fucking David Buster's? What the hell is this? Got some big secret and then tell you he can't tell you what it is. Milwaukee might be on fire tonight. We'll talk to you later, buddy.
Good job tonight. Oh, here he goes. Here he goes. The game's over. All right, later, buddy.
Love you. Love you, Kevin Holden. Love you, Andrew Wagues. Do you love Carl's place? Carl, love everybody.
Okay. Okay. I am wrapping up the show. I thought we were going all night, Bart. I thought that was the plan.
Yeah, and then my battery died. Twenty-four hour Winkler cast through the Packer game. See, Andrew, this isn't the first time that he's said he'll go all night and then doesn't. You know this. Yeah, that's why I can't believe Nicole left me for him.
Milwaukee beer glass. He brought it from home. Yeah, you know who is that? That's a Milwaukee yellow. Oh, that blazer.
Yeah, yeah. Bert, where's your mom? They they bought her this glass. No, Flash brought it from. Oh, somebody brought this glass.
It was in his supply. All right, all right. I'm wrapping. You couldn't get your mom to come to the game with you. I wanted to say hi.
I'm kicking everyone out. All right. Good night, party. We love you. Please get home safe.
I'm worried about you. We got it, buddy. Shut up. Love you, Milwaukee Brewers. Sue.
Bye, Mark. Brewers. Bye. Get out of here, Jesus. Could no?
Could people not hear me or what? The where's your car? Oh, could people not hear me or what? Pretty much. Yeah.
Why? You guys are you guys just looking at the TV commenting on hot chicks? We were commenting on a bunch of things. You just couldn't hear it because your connection is shitty because you're using an iPhone seven. Uh, iPhone fifteen.
Ooh.
Well, Bart, you lived to see it. You saw it first. Airport now or what? Whatever. I mean, I don't know where else to go.
You can have my room if you want it. Do you want my room? No, I'm not going to sleep. Where's the casino? There's one somewhere.
Oh, let's go there for a little bit. Is there one somewhere? Wait, and we're about to lose Bart.
Okay, goodbye.
Well, since Bart's dead, are you are you there or are you dead? Do you have me? Yeah, now I have you.
Okay, I'm just wrapping up, so I'm going to say the line, and then we'll go.
Okay. Thanks for stopping into the Winkler verse. the The Brewers are champs. Love you, eggs. Get home safe, buddy.
