Andrew Wagner joins Bart to break down the Brewers first loss in the playoffs since Game 3 of the NLDS as they fall in extras to the Rays. The Crew still leads the World Series 3-1, so why is everyone so so negative? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Welcome into the Winkler verse. I am Bart Winkler. Ooh, first comment that should have been Chad Patrick's inning. Ah, shit, he was left off the roster for Brandon Woodruff. That was a feel good moment though.

Last night, it was all it was exciting to see Woody. Thought they might go Miz there, but then you kind of ruin them for tomorrow, and that's where we are headed as this series is going five. I'm Bart Winkler. Welcome into the Winkler verse. This will not be an hour and a half, two hour show like the shows we've been cranking out after these post games.

Brought to you by First and Bull, First and Bull dot com in Tulsa. Promo code Bart at checkout for ten percent off every. Anything that you want to do there, whether it's the Nerf parties or the Adele parties or the football bowling, check out the website, browse around a little bit, and see what you got going on there, and book a party to celebrate the World Series, which is not yet over, thought it might be.

So, I'm going to Tampa tomorrow. I've been telling people all day, "Oh, I'm such an idiot! Why did I? Why did I pick Game Five?" But of course, you don't think the Brewers are going to sweep. I wasn't trying to reverse jinx myself.

I had people messaging me, "Do you want them to lose?" No, I didn't. I I do not want them to. I did not want them to lose. No, no, I don't want to go. I'm going.

I would rather have not gone. You know how much of a hassle it is to go. I don't want to go. I don't. I didn't.

I want to cancel my flight tonight. I wanted to stay up late with you. I wanted to it to be like three in the morning, and then I'm sucking down Happy Place Hem Seltzers. Also, promo code Bart twenty five percent off. And then I wanted to watch some Vision Quest, and then go to bed at five in the morning, and then wake up at two tomorrow, and then find out when the parade is.

Christopher William is being blocked from the show. Christopher, you have been blocked from the show. We don't want you here. You can watch, but you are being blocked from the show. It's it's fucking annoying.

Andrew Wagner, as he does through the post game.

Okay, your initial thoughts on that one, Wags? Not shocked. I mean, listen, the you're trying to win it with the bullpen early. You know, Brendan McGill there can go either way. McGill was a third.

He was one batter. Yeah. Listen, so the first comment Wagner was that could have been Chad Patrick's inning now. We're not walking away from a World Series game, lamenting Chad Patrick not being on its roster. Right?

I mean, it's, but it could have been. It could have been. Listen, Tampa Bay is a good team. They weren't going to go down without a fight. If they were going to take a game, this was the game to do it.

You knew the Brewers were going to be patchworking their pitching staff today. And it looked for a second like the Brewers were going to do what they've done time and time and time again. I mean, Cooper Pratt of all people coming up with the Dan Shany run, Dan Shany Insurance run. Did I get that right? I think I got it right.

Dan Shany Insurance runs, yeah. I mean, what a moment! And you think, okay, we got this. If they could have pumped a couple more across, I think you feel a little bit better. Drawing, you didn't have many options left in the bullpen.

I mean, it was basically Drowin, it was Harrison, and it was Woodruff. You know, probably not going to throw Woodruff on back-to-back days. You went with the with the best possible situation was, and that error to lead off the inning that stings, man. You put that you put that tying run on. Or that that you know the run on and it just it burns you, and then it was just the Rays doing what the Brewers did, you know, just a bunch of singles and none of them were particularly well hit.

They were just hit them where they ain't and strung enough of them together to put a run across and end it. Travel update: I started packing in the eleventh inning. That's when I finally said I should probably pack. Um. I'm also not going to bring my new Brewers postseason sweatshirt because it smells like shit.

My armpits smell like cousin sub's onions. Yeah, I saw that earlier. Like the exact smell. The exact smell. Like I'm not using hyperbole.

I fucking stink.

Okay. Tom says, "Why does it feel like we lost the series?" Here we go. Jay says, "Horrible man." Part of me knew we were losing. Dan says, "Feels like this is going six now." What a moment stolen from Pratt! You got to put Miz in, finish it.

I don't think that would have. I don't think that would have been. No, I don't. Because then he's up there rushing his bullpen. Exactly, and then you're putting him in, and then you torch him for tomorrow.

And if he still, if he still gets tagged up tomorrow, then what do you do? You know, you need him tomorrow. Listen, the Brewers have room here. Like this isn't the end of the world. It is for Kit and Mitson's thirteen.

Nothing more predictable than a Brewer's epic collapse. Wasted Ashby Hall, Uribe McGill. Holy shit, they're losing this. They blew it. They blew the fucking World Series.

Only the Brewers. For God's, this is the other reason why we're going shorter tonight. Yeah. Stop being insane, people! Would be the most Wisconsin thing ever to be within three outs and have the baseball gods frown on us and take it away.

It's like I hired an Etsy witch to curse them before the postseason. Who you? I mean, if you wanted to get back at them, a three, a three, a three, all World Series lead, and then. And then they're up three two. If if anyone really thinks that the Brewers are going to get swept in four straight, you are batshit crazy.

Well, now it's only three.

Now they only.

Now it's only.

Well, it would still have to be four games overall. A lot of comments bitching about Murphy overmanaged the ninth. A lot of comments shitting on Ortiz. Jay says, "Yo, yo, yo! We're up three-one.

I'm just frustrated." Yeah, that's that's fine. And and the frustration, I'm not, I'm not shitting on anyone for being frustrated. If you're saying it's over, that's insane. Yeah, but I'm not, I'm not, I'm not shitting on anyone to be frustrated. I'm frustrated.

We, you should all be frustrated. This was five hours of your life with highs and lows, kids. My kid, my poor kid, he hid in his room. He hid in his room after the game. Ortiz is the new Bostic, guys.

Dylan, four ninety nine. Thank you, Dylan. Drone should not sniff the field again. The series, Patch have had a longer lease with Ashby. Drone was in there because who else were we going to pitch there?

Yep. Did Harrison pitch yesterday too? If this was game set, huh? Who did Harrison pitch yesterday too? I don't know if Harrison's pitched at all.

Okay, Miz was not going to pitch this game unless it was Game Seven, right? Yeah, yeah. No way. Ah, this is a good question. Can someone explain why the steal was overturned?

I don't know. I don't think he got him. I think I think he did just swipe the oven mitt just barely. I mean, it's. For them to look at it that long and reach the conclusion, and don't get me wrong, MLB's replay system is fucked up.

It never makes sense. But in this situation, with the length of time that they looked at it, they're not overturning that call unless they're one hundred percent sure. I don't know how they're one hundred percent sure.

Well, they had to overturn it. I I think Fox called it in, Wags. Oh God! I think Rupee Murdoch called it in. Al says Buck ninety nine.

The Rays have no fucking pitchers now. Yeah, I mean they they threw their starter for tomorrow. A lot of people wanted Miz. Ask the Red Sox from two thousand four. That was the one time.

How about ask all the other times? All right, we're gonna go live to Tropicana Field where Tommy Wurts is. Tommy, Tommy. Hey, Drew. Hey.

Oh, hey. Are you in a car? Yeah, I just paid a hundred and seventy-five dollars to Uber outside of Tropicana Field as we booked a hotel twenty-four miles away for eighty-eight bucks.

So it kind of feels like we're ahead of the game, but yeah, just leaving right now. That one hurt like a motherfucker, man. That one, that one hurt, man. Dude, I got Dave, my brother Dave and Cuttahay is here as well. Dave.

Yeah, there he is. I don't know if you can see in here. I don't want to.

So what's the plan, Tommy? We can't. We can't swing it, man. You rock. We can't.

We can't swing it. We can't swing it. What can you swing? It was just. I gotta.

I can't. I can't get in my flight. I don't even know. I get travel anxiety. I can't.

That was four and a half hours of that, dude. Vascular stress on my body. We were. That was hard. That was hard to watch, and it always, to me at least, it felt like Jake Bowers homered against the New York Mets.

It it really did. It felt like Sal Frelick hit the next home run, and and all of a sudden they had the lead. And you knew Pete Alonso was coming up the next inning, and I don't know if it was necessarily an overthink by Murph because when we saw Drowing, it just didn't feel like the story was Shane Drowing closed this. I agree on that. I agree on that.

But again, what was the what were the options? That was the moment. I don't. I don't necessarily blame Joey. That's a tough play in the hole, man.

But. How poetic would it have been if Cooper Pratt had the swing? As you can tell, my voice is shot. Tommy, you know who would have made that play at third. You know who would have made that play at third.

Suarez Suarez would have made that play. Suarez would have made that play. They should have traded for him two years ago to let him walk. To trade for him at the deadline again. Yeah, that one.

That one, that one really hurt. That one really stung. But it was a fantastic baseball game, and the Tropp. It gets way too much of a bad rap. I think there's terrible seats if you're above the rings and above the whatever is going on up there.

But we were in the outfield. It was awesome. I think it was fifty-fifty Brewers fans, Rays fans. The Brewers fans showed out amazing during this, but. It did hurt.

It did hurt, but it kind of felt like our hearts were going to get ripped out. It did feel like that in the in the. Did it go twelve? How many innings was that? Twelve, because I was going to tweet.

Does George Webb give out free burgers for a twelfth inning World Series win? And then I was like, Well, they're still the bottom of the twelfth. I'm not going to do that. And then, and then that happened. Oh my god!

Yeah, that was brutal. That was. I have a hotel room. If you guys want to stay, you can crash with me. Our stuff's back in.

Yeah, we're we're dry. We're I. You know what, Bart? I'm happy for you. I'm not happy.

I don't want to go. I don't want to go now. I wanted this to be over tonight. I want to be celebrating tonight.

So did we?

So did we?

Yeah, we spent close. We spent a pretty penny to celebrate tonight. We bought these tickets as soon as the Guardians. You know, what if they go out and win four in a row? That felt almost more likely than trying to hold out for a game in Milwaukee.

We spent less money on a flight, a hotel, a ticket, and an Uber. That's You know whatever that whatever that market was tonight. Then we could have to go to any game in Milwaukee, and I I'm happy to say that we went to a World Series game. Have to say that we got to have that memory. Our flights couldn't have been any more perfect.

Shout out to Southwest for the way here. But man, that stung. That just that just sucked. Did you have a straight shot or no? No, we stopped in Nashville, and tomorrow we're stopping in Baltimore.

Yeah, I got to do the Baltimore bullshit on the way back too. I was supposed to appear. Everyone in Green Bay wants me to fly out of Appleton. You're like, oh, you're gonna fly out of Appleton? Yeah, that's the one.

That that's the one right there. Every price is like two hundred dollars more. Like, no, I'm just gonna go stay with my mom in Milwaukee and figure it out. Yeah, don't fly out of Appleton. That's what they all want.

They all want that man, and yeah, because they're like, "Oh, who needs Milwaukee? We got Appleton." Right? Christ, Bart, you bring home that trophy tomorrow, all right?

Well, this guy, there's a hey, you wouldn't believe this. There's a lot of negativity. There's a lot of series is over in the comments.

Well, my God!

So I did hear you read that Joey Ortiz is the next Bostic. The whole reason, like, I thought that was really confusing. In whatever inning that was, the eighth, when they did the pinch hit. Like, if you're gonna steal, why not just let Hamilton have the AB? Why not just let Hamilton have the AB to see if he can poke something through?

If you're gonna steal, no matter what. If you're looking for a big swing, if you're looking for a home run, you're looking for a gapper. Sure, go ahead and put Vaughn in there. But if you were already planning on getting in scoring position, I'm letting Hamilton take the cuts. He's hitting over 300 in the postseason.

Had the biggest swing of the day until Cooper Pratt did. I don't. I didn't get that move. I think, like he said, the change rowing at the end of the game. I get not wanting to burn Miz, but.

You never know if there's going to be another opportunity to win the World Series, but you got three games. I get that, but I'm talking three outs away from winning the World Series is not never guaranteed. What wags? What's the hardest game to win, wags? The closeout game.

Yeah. Thank you. These comments are unfucking believable. Like I, I feel bad also, and of course, it's creeping in my mind. What if we blow it?

Of course, it's creeping in my mind, but you push it down. You don't think about you. Think about that after Game Six. If we lose that one, to to to bitch tonight. I know you're frustrated.

I know we we spent five hours. I know everyone today had a feel of we're doing it today. It felt like we were doing it today, and it got ripped out from under us. And I know that sucks. But the score is three to one.

So if if If we're gonna blow it. The time to be all sad about it is later. You motherfucking assholes did the same goddamn shit with the bucks. You did the same goddamn shit with the bucks, and now you're doing it now. Did the same shit in the Padres series.

All those jackasses saying the series was over and typical Brewers choking. It's one game, one game. When you no comments tonight, no link tonight. Not dealing with this shit tonight. We're talking about the game.

We're going to bed. We're flying to Tampa. We're seeing a World Series win. We're coming back. We're having a parade, and you guys can shut the fuck up.

Yeah, I, I mean, I wouldn't say I feel bad for the series at all. I don't. In fact, it almost feels like. All right.

Well, let's just do it tomorrow, right? This is the dotting the eyes and crossing the Ts that you've been talking about. They burned every last pitcher in that Tampa Bay bullpen right there. And Caminero's can't walk. Yeah.

Yeah, I um, I do want to say that if I ever see Nick Martinez on the street, I'm gonna whine, whine, whine, and then right there, right at I can't stand that shit. That that should be illegal. That is the same as Justin Rose using that long fucking putter. That shit should be illegal. It should not be allowed.

I don't understand it. It makes no sense to me. Then again, McGill kind of does it too, but not as egregious. No.

So it's official. By the way, Jacob Mizerelski will start tomorrow for the Brewers. Murphy said that Mizerelski was not an option. He wanted to burn in a one-run game and extra innings with a three-zero series lead. He will start tomorrow.

There you go. That's the right play. That's the right play. Absolutely the right play. Yeah, totally makes.

Is that mean? Are they going to have Rasmussen go tomorrow? I mean, they have to, right? They have to. Otherwise, it's Rasmussen tomorrow.

Yep. Okay, and then Mats for a little bit, and then yep. It's going to be another all hands on deck day for them because they they're out of options. I mean, they're still up against the wall, like the pressure. They they have to do it tomorrow, boys.

We get it tomorrow. That's exactly what we're going to do.

Okay, Bart, you're going to be there to celebrate just like you did the Bucks win, and you're going to bring home the ship. Damn it! Let's fucking go. I started Ornaud in 2013, and we make bike apparel. The best part of Shopify for me is our ability to run the business as essentially non-technical people.

So go ahead, take a trip, fill that cart, join a world of rewards. Go to Rakuten. dot com or get the app. These I just I'm I got to go full screen on my screen so that I don't see the comments. This is just absurd.

I, I wouldn't be discouraged if I was a Brewer fan by any means.

So the comment section I can't see them, so I don't know who's commenting on it. But that was a hell of a baseball game by the Brewers. They played amazing. The Rays just played with their backs against the wall too, and unfortunately. They got beat.

I mean, no team has ever won nine playoff games in a row. No team has ever done that. The Brewers had a chance to do it tonight, but it's not. I mean, what they've done is they've just matched history during this. And how great is this experience for all these young guys for years, years to come with it?

And regardless, they're right there. They're right there. There's by no means. I wouldn't even panic if they lose again. They got to come to Milwaukee.

You want to win two games in Milwaukee when you have three home games in Tampa already? They're gonna get it done. They're gonna get it done. It just sucks that it wasn't tonight, especially because we are here. That's why.

Selfish. And I swear to I swear to God, I was not rooting for them to lose. I don't want to go. I don't want to physically travel now. I wanted to celebrate tonight with my kid and wife.

Instead, my kid runs to his room crying. Welcome to Brewers fandom, buddy. Fuck, fuck. Wags, did you cry tonight? I don't want to talk about that.

I haven't. I haven't been enjoying this very much, Tommy. Yeah, I mean, I I can see why, you know. But what I mean, I'm I'm bummed for the people that were that were there. Like, I know a good friend of mine; her sister lives down there with her two kids, and like, she helped buy them tickets.

Like, you know, there were people that were wanting to see history tonight. But here's the thing: it's a game. It's a championship series against the two best teams in the league. And anyone that thought the Brewers are going to go in there and just walk away with this thing is nuts. I mean, Tampa Bay won ninety-eight games during the regular season.

They swept the Yankees. They they beat a talented and hot Cleveland team. They weren't going down without a fight. And I said yesterday, like I wouldn't be surprised at all. If they won these last two games to force it back to Milwaukee, it wouldn't shock me in the least.

And I don't think that's a collapse on the Brewers' part. It's a credit to Tampa being a really good team. They have not played up to their level so far in this series at all. We have not seen the Tampa Bay Rays. As they play, because they are very much a team like the Brewers, they have just been stymied at every turn so far, and they made a lot of mistakes tonight.

They were able to overcome them again. I would not be shocked if they come back. I think it's going to be hard against Miz, but I wouldn't be shocked if they find a way. But if this thing comes back to Milwaukee, I still think the Brewers take this thing. And again, if you went into this series thinking it was going to be a sweep, good on you.

But reality says otherwise. And if they do it in five games, they do it in six games. Even if they do it in seven, does it really fucking matter if you get a ring at the end of the day? No, it's just we all we were at the altar tonight, and then the the bride didn't show up.

Well, I know how that goes. No, actually, what it was more like is in the office. We were guests at Jim and Pam's wedding. They went to Niagara Falls. They're going to come to the wedding.

There will be a ceremony. It's just that we've been waiting for forty-four years. Instead, today, four hours, Jim and Pam, four hours, whatever was. It is. It's not that the wedding's not happening.

It's that we are like, holy shit! This wedding started at three. Why is it six? Brett, sorry, I just got a notification. I got to send it to Bart.

He'll appreciate it. Would you guys have pitched Ryle Harrison? Ryle Harrison? I don't know. Because that was the only other option in the bullpen at that point.

He did send Miz to the pen. Miz did go to the pen. He didn't. I think that was more of a k fob, you know, just trying to put it in their heads. I don't think it was.

I don't think it was serious. I mean, I I just don't see a world in which they burn their ace. If it was Game Seven, or if they were facing elimination, yes, absolutely. But not when you have a three-all series lead. All right, Tommy, have a good ride.

Thank you. I wanted to. I was hoping that I would be getting you exclusive footage of a World Series championship trophy, but. You're gonna have it on the Winklivers tomorrow, and I hope I hope to be watching. I just wanted to pop in while I was down here.

This is the first post game show that I called into. I want to let you know that. Are you making the rounds? No, but I did call it your post game show. I don't know if they would pick up the phone.

To be honest, I'm curious how our former boss is handling tonight. I'm sure he's taking it very. Regained calm, cool, and collected. Either way, I love you guys. Wax, I love you.

Part, I love you. Roars and five. See you, brother. Love you, Tommy. That's Tommy and Dave and Cuttahay at the Trop.

Everyone acting like Miz coming in in relief would have been a guaranteed three outs. Like, what happens if he comes in and blows it? Yeah. And then what do you do? Then you're fucked.

You have to be smart about it, and you can say it's the easy. There's no guarantee about it. It was the smart play. You may not like it. It may not have given you the results that you wanted, but it's the smart thing you do because at this point, you still you have the luxury of being able to have a contingency plan.

Well, and I think a lot of these, like we are live. Twenty minutes, thirty minutes after the game ended, and it was a game where it was a game where we thought all day it was going to happen or that it could happen. You spent five hours; it was tense. We went to extra innings. We went up three-two, and then you started thinking three outs, and then it didn't happen.

And so, if you're, there's a lot of There's a lot of I'm upset. There's a lot of people bummed, upset, frustrated, disappointed. These are all fine, and that's fine. But sitting here and saying this is the start of a collapse and it's the end—you people did this after the San Diego series loss, like. And let me let me tell you this too.

Let me tell you this. Let me tell you this. If they lose game five. And it comes back to Milwaukee, and you get two chances to win a World Series. And I screamed at Bucks fans during that run, "Don't put your shit on them.

They can feel when you're like anxious. They can feel these crowds have been great. Don't don't be all like, oh, Wisconsin sports, Wisconsin sports, Wisconsin sports. Oh, it's Wisconsin. Suck my asshole." Wisconsin sports because you've seen a Super Bowl, you've seen an NBA Finals, you're gonna see a World Series championship.

We've had a lot of success. Yes, we have had a lot of disappointment, and we've had a lot of heartbreaking losses, and we have commiserated in them.

Okay, we have been very frustrated about them, and we share a pain that I don't think other people really quite understand how just how bad some of these losses have been. But we've also had good times, and we're not going to let our negativity. Seep in and then permeate its way through osmosis. Two big words in one sentence into this Brewers team because they are they are immune to it.

So you can bitch all you want in a fucking YouTube podcast after the game to let your frustrations out, but don't you dare put that shit on this team, okay? Don't you dare put that shit on them. It's a cold day in hell. When I of all people have to be the goddamn voice of reason, you know how much it pisses me off. I want to be negative, but I can't find a negative here.

Yeah, I'd like to be saying "Ha ha, suck at all of you!" But no, who the hell really thought that Tampa Bay was just gonna roll over without a fight? It just it boggles the mind. And the next person that brings up the the Red Sox coming, just stop it. Again, if we're up, if you tell anyone before the series, it's going to be three one. If we win this game and lose a different one, suddenly we're feeling really good.

If we lost tonight by like five to one, where it wasn't this kind of nail biter, you know that's different. You experience a tough loss.

Okay. Experienced a tough loss. I did throw the link out. Jake, you're driving. Where are you?

I'm just driving home from my in-laws, where I watch the game. How's Mrs. Dre? Wanted to say a couple quick things. First off, for the people with the doom and gloom and the negativity, you fucking bitches, don't watch the game tomorrow.

Don't watch any playoff games ever again, because I feel. You are delighting in this moment, so you can be your fucking doom and gloom bitchery and fucking bring it out on everybody else.

So go fuck yourselves, you fucking pussies. Secondly, this was a fucking postseason baseball playoff game filled with postseason fuckery. This stuff happens. They won because of two errors. They miss the fact that Caminero jumped out of the baseline.

That should have been an out. There was an error on your best overall fielding player on the team. That fuckery happens. Am I upset they lost? A little, but only because I mean the biggest thing is I'm heartbroken for Cooper Pratt because that is an all-time moment that would have been played for years that is now going to be lost to history, and that is a bummer.

What a great thing for that kid, but it's as you guys have been saying, it's one fucking game. The Rays completely depleted their already so-so bullpen, and you have the best pitcher in the fucking world taking the mound tomorrow.

So how about have a fucking sack? Say it with your chest that they're gonna fucking win the World Series tomorrow. You fucking cuck bitches.

Sorry, I don't think you're getting monetized on this. I'm gonna go after with something that Bart said yesterday. I think he said to William Christopher Jackass, "All you shitbirds that are sitting here saying that the series is over." Go online right now to whatever shitty gambling app. Go to the Pottawatomie Sportsbook and put down wood, actual wood, on the race coming back to win it, and post post your ticket if you are so damn sure of it. Post your ticket.

Go bet and post your ticket. Go bet and post your ticket, or better yet, post your ticket here. I'll be de facto Paddle Sportsbook. Anybody who thinks the Rays are coming back. Send me fifty dollars or Wagner fifty dollars.

Send it to us right now. And if the Rays win the series, I will give you. I'll give you four to one odds.

Okay. Are you covering my losses too? Because I can't. I can't do four to one odds.

Well, and here's the thing, though. It's not to say that anybody's immune from criticism. Like Joey Ortiz has been dog shit the entire postseason. That sucks. If you want to criticize Murphy, I think if you look at last night, he probably should have pitched Harrison rather than sent Zatella.

There was no reason for his sent Zatella to be in mop up duty.

So you know maybe he gets to go an extra inning tonight. McGill only pitched one out, right? I mean, it's these little things that I think that there's something to be said about over managing. But he's the fucking manager of the year twice in a row. He's probably going to win it a third time.

Nobody's perfect. You're up three one. Again, best pitcher in the fucking planet takes the mound tomorrow. Let's let's just be a little bit positive here. Maybe just wait and see.

I just I don't understand it. And also, hey, Jackson Churio, fucking tied Babe Ruth tonight for the most hits. For a guy in his first World Series, like that's pretty good company. That's pretty fucking cool. He's gonna break that record.

It's cool. Like whatever. Bart gets to see the World Series, I'm or World Series Championship, like take place. I'm happy for that, and that'll be a fun moment for the Winklevers.

So I'm gonna be Mr. Positivity tonight, except for I'm gonna be Mr. Negativity to all you negative Nancy's out there. Go fuck yourselves. Don't watch the game tomorrow.

I love you guys. I take Jake out. Bart, how do you think? How do you think Tom? What do What do you think Tom asked Babe after setting that record of eight in a row?

But but but Babe, is it true that you're actually half African American? I love your hot impersonation. You seem to like all the all the music, and you're like you're one of the few baseball players that is is is nice to the let's just say the non whites. See that some levity. See that some levity.

Craig, Craig, Craig. Hey Bart, who's who's sponsoring this episode of Into the Winklerverse? We are brought to you by First and Bowl. They are providing the post game coverage, and this means in Game Five they get a free game tomorrow. Because I didn't know it would go five.

FirstandBowl dot com. For your parties, we're gonna have a party there in a couple weekends, and I'll share some video and stuff. Should be fun. Promo code Bart, ten percent off at checkout. Promo code Bart for Happy Place Hemp.

I suggest y'all use it tonight. Ah man, I should have. I should have. Dude, my heart was fucking racing. That was a great postseason baseball game.

It did not end the way that obviously Brewers did, but that was a postseason baseball game. I mean, yeah, there were some mistakes, there were some decisions that you probably you know want to second guess, but at the end of the day, it was a tight. Every pitch mattered. You're hanging on every single swing. Like it just, it was an October classic World Series game.

So, do you think? Um, some of the actual productive comments are wondering if there could be any. There was a slight lineup tweak. Frelick was up, yeah, in the lineup. But do we see, um, fuck off, bitch.

Do we see, um, Vaughn? Do we see Lara? Do we see? Do you think? I mean, sometimes in a loss, t here is wholesale changes.

I don't see any kind of wholesale changes come. Come on, it was one, one loss, one loss, one loss in a seven game series that you have a commanding lead. A team was playing for its life. Like, what did you? Did you again?

Why is anyone surprised? If you would have gone in the series and said, okay. Uh, through four games, you'd have a three-one lead. Through five games, you'd be up three-two and coming home. Would anyone not have taken it?

I I think they're fine. They're absolutely fine. They don't need to make any changes to the lineup. They just got to execute, which is what they've done time and time again. I mean, the Rays are not a shitty team.

It's important to get that through your heads. They're not a shitty team. They played shitty the first couple games. They weren't exactly great tonight, but they started to pull their head out of their ass. And they're still fighting for their life.

They're still with their back against the wall, and and they have fewer options than the Brewers do in terms of pitching. I'm going to put out a tweet right now to get people off of the fucking. Oh, Dario tweeted a video of the booze being carried away. I can't believe. Here's what I'm tweeting.

I can't believe I'm actually going to be in attendance tomorrow to see my Brewers win a World Series. Oh God! Now you're jinxing it. No, I haven't done anything to jinx anything. No.

Um. Yeah. Well, I this would be a jinx if I said I don't want to travel all the way down there. I'm going to sell my shit and then go to Game Six. That would be a jinx.

That would be a jinx. At one point, I was in my. I was in my bedroom because I moved around the house. There was some living room, and at one point I was like, "If I touch the remote, they'll win." And then I was like, "No, they'll lose. No, they'll win." And then I'm like, "You fucking idiot!

You're on your bed, 1,200 miles away. What you see on TV is happening 15 seconds after it happens in real life, anyway, if not more." Stop being a fucking weirdo! Take your goddamn medicine. I have something that I would like to say. This is a classic.

Should Bart say this? Should Bart say this? The stand-up to cancer thing gotta go. I'm not. I'm not entirely in disagreement with you on that.

Do it before the game. You did it in the middle of the game, and I know they've done this forever. But man, that is just a total buzzkill. I've never understood it. Like, is it a fundraiser?

Like, do or. Like I've been part of it, but are we donating money or are we just like naming the people in our lives that have been affected by it? Like I, I, I don't understand. It was neat the Brewers all had Yuke. Yeah, I like it.

Just it shouldn't be done in the middle of the game. Yeah, I don't like it in the middle of the game. And then and then Joe Davis and I'm not shitting on Joe. I think he was he had to read this, but he's like. Standing up for loved ones you care about, priceless Mastercard commercial.

Yeah, that part—that's the part that cheeses me. It's like, come on, we're sponsoring cancer. We're sponsoring cancer. What did you think of Davis channeling Yuke, or and kind of butchering it on the Pratt home run? I like the effort.

I thought that was nice. It now goes out with the wash because they didn't win.

So who cares? I yeah i i i think they I think I'm going to see though I think I'm going to see them win. I do too. I mean, Miz on the mound is your best bet. It's in.

You can be pissed about him not pitching tonight, all you want, but if the same result. If Ortiz flubs that throw against Miz, and the way that he has pitched has not been as lights out, I I just don't like the thought of him coming. If it was a back against the wall elimination game, absolutely no doubt about it. But the fact that you have a little bit of leeway, you have some breathing room, and you don't have to burn that that weapon. Would you rather have him?

Coming out of the pen in that situation and possibly not getting it done, and then having to scramble tomorrow, or would you rather take your chances with your guys knowing that you've got Miz on the bump tomorrow to close it out? Brett says Lafleur managing the Brewers tonight. Jay says, "What do you think Murphy says to this team?" After the game, I don't think he needs to say anything. What's he going to say? You guys fucked up.

Don't choke this away. Hey guys, how many how many wins did the Brewers have? One hundred and three. Yeah, one hundred and three. One hundred three.

Okay, so then including the playoffs, this team that we love so much has lost sixty one times this year. Yeah. This is not like unfamiliar in any way, and they've also lost on the road and then picked it back up. And also, the crowd was even more Brewers fans tonight. It'll be more tomorrow.

I. Yeah, look. If they, I'll entertain this for a second. If they don't win the World Series, that will be pretty shitty. Yeah, but I don't think that's going to happen.

And it's not worth talking about until you're down in Game Seven. Yep. So until you're in Game Seven, A, and trailing, B. Enough. It's funny.

All these same people that were talking about how Milwaukee's the greatest fans and we rock, we're better than everyone else, and you're the first ones to say that the season's over. Like, get a grip. Yeah, I, I swear to, I swear to God, you want to be miserable. Yep. You you want you want you want them to lose because then you can say, see, and what does that do?

You do you understand? Do you understand that whoever you are, you get to live on this rock one time, and you are living in a period of great comfortability. And technology, and you are living where sports are a thing. At a very, you're living, you're living after sports were like all shitty, like fat thirty year old people hitting home runs and you know shitty wide receivers in football before the forward pass and whatever the fucking NBA used to be. You're living at a time where sports are at their peak.

Right after all the shitty stuff happened, and right before humans start transitioning into cyborgs and robot humans are playing sports, you're living in the golden era of watching sports, and you want to spend that time complaining because we lost four to three in extra innings to go up three one in the World Series. I saw someone point mention that Randy. It was Nate and Dubs. Randy freaking Johnson came out of the bullpen. Yeah, he pitched, pitched one in two thirds innings of relief.

No, one in a third inning of hitless relief in Game Seven. Was Game Game Seven? If you guys, if Pat Murphy brings in Shane Drowin with a rested Miz. In Game Seven, yeah. This is Game Four.

God, he's starting. Who?

Okay, all right. Miz pitches tonight, and he gives up a run. What then? What are we doing tomorrow? You've shot his confidence.

If he can still pitch, you you let the Rays know. Oh fuck, we can get Miz. We got him last night. God, it's insane! Shut the fuck up!

Shut the fuck! No, I got people going back to Jay's question though, because I saw he's coming from a sincere place about it. I honestly don't think Murph says anything other than, "All right, we got a game tonight. Go get him." We've we've we've lost before. We've come back.

We've been behind before in the playoffs. We've come back. We lost the game in the playoffs. We came back, we won the series, and then we swept the next round. Like, I don't think he has to say anything.

The guys know what's at stake. The guys know that the job isn't done. They know they're playing a very good team. Like, I don't think anything needs to be said. And what are you guys complaining about?

You get another chance tomorrow night to get wasted off your fucking ass, and everyone's celebrating the Brewers.

So your boss doesn't give a shit if you show up hungover or drunk or not at all. What are you complaining about? Milwaukee was New Year's Eve tonight, and it's going to be New Year's Eve tomorrow. And the next day, possibly. What are you?

This is what you you you love to share the map of all of our counties being drunk as shit. Also, I I would if there's any conspiracy theory I'd buy into, it's that this game was rigged, but not by baseball, not by Fox, but by the most evil organization known to man, and that would be the Wisconsin Tavern League, or the Tavern League of Wisconsin.

Well, I just think Mark told the guys to shit the bed today because the owners don't start getting a cut of the World Series gate revenue until Game Five. He's got sand to pay for. This must be a coping podcast, not one criticism all night. What do you want? What do you want to criticize?

Everything that you criticize, everything that you would criticize, I'll criticize.

However, not the Drowin thing. I didn't love Drowin there either. No, I didn't either. I didn't go to Miz. I thought they could go to Miz, and then I immediately thought, "Well, that's probably not the right decision." No, now it was an elimination.

We already did talk about McGill. McGill is the only one that I'll say.

Okay, you know what? What's going on here? Why is he just one and done? I didn't like that. I didn't like that at all.

Yeah. That that's probably the only one that I can nitpick with. And then when you mentioned pulling Hamilton, like those those are the two that stand out.

Okay, yeah. I don't know, dude. What's it gonna do? Why aren't we? Why aren't we shitting on Murphy?

What do you want to shit on him for? Like, what do you want to shit on for? I don't know. It's it's ridiculous. You guys called the season over after they lost to the Padres, and then what happened?

And now people are calling it over now. Jesus Christ! There's still three games to play. Maybe. All right.

Um, I need to go to bed.

So we're not. Oh, I got the transcript already. Just Murphy tonight.

Okay. To be three outs from the goal, how do you process that? I think the guys understand it's going to be hard. You're playing the best team in the American League. They proved it all year long.

It's going to be hard. He's just basically saying you wake up and play another day. Miz tomorrow, all hands on deck. Credit Tampa. Was Miz an option in extra innings?

You can't blow that type of situation on a one-run lead in the road. If we were in the thirteenth inning and we had a three-run lead, it might have been different. Probably still wouldn't have. We did what we needed to do. They did what they needed to do.

We made an error. That's unusual. And then they capitalize. Drowin, he said, Sensatello was out of gas today. We didn't think we'd have to go to him, but we did.

We thought drone would come face the lefties. Ball was up a little bit, little flat. We're learning from it. Ashby was disappointed. He was coming out.

We're mindful of his health, but we got out of that situation. Um. I like this quote from Christian Yelich. You're supposed to face adversity. You have to battle back from it.

That's why you celebrate at the end because that's what it requires of you. I believe in our room. I believe we're prepared to meet that challenge. Joey Ortiz, I fielded the ball and I think I should have took another couple steps towards first. I made a shit throw.

There's no excuse, not one and all. I should make that play every fucking time. Like, there you go. I'd like to ask you a bit on the criteria behind the use of McGill today for only one batter, and not getting any activity in the ninth. In retrospect, with the game stretching for so long, do you think you could have gotten more out of him?

Murphy said yes, and that ended the press conference.

So, Joey Ortiz said what you guys went. What we all said it was a shit play. Like. What the hell do you want? You think I'm flying to fucking Tampa and getting on a connecting flight in St.

Louis and getting in a hotel and getting in a cab and spending 150 bucks to get to the stadium and running around and I'm gonna smell fucking terrible tomorrow. I'm gonna smell so bad. I'm gonna smell like cousins up here, subway down in my crotch. I'm gonna smell like Jimmy John's on my neck, Jersey Mike in between my toes. You think I'm going out all that way and then coming back up here on Thursday, sitting down here around noon, cranking out a pod with horror?

For you, and then doing a Packer pod at night when they lose to the Panthers. You think I'm all doing? You think I'm doing all that to go down and watch a fucking lose? No.

Oh, we got idiots joining the dumb club. All right, good. Then we won't have to hear from you anymore. It'll be pleasure. I think the thing that angers me and Wagner is there's no consequence to your bullshit.

You complain, and then they win, and you celebrate. I've used Mitchum. Mitchum worked for me for a good amount of years, and then my body defeated it.

So you know how you have like blood cells that fight diseases. My body works very hard to fight the. Productivity of deodorant and antiperspirants, and I don't care what you tell, whatever you tell me. I spent eight hours in a car with you. I can confirm this.

Yes, whatever you tell me, whatever you tell me, I've used. I have used medicated creams. The only thing I didn't do, which I looked into senior year, I've talked about this. We were going to Botox my pores shut in my armpits. That sounds not good.

And then it got better. And I will tell you. I will tell you one thing. I will tell you one thing. I.

I don't want to say I stopped, because one day I will resume. But I don't know when that's going to be, and it might be a while. And I've alluded to it. I haven't really talked about it a lot. I do want to talk about it if I make a certain point, but it's been three months since I've had any alcohol.

Even though my face looks like it hasn't been more than three minutes since my last drink. I was wondering if there was going to be champagne tonight if they won. I wasn't gonna. Yeah, I know it was a tough loss. That it was a tough loss.

We lost a game, and if you want to act, if if you really think we're going to lose the World Series. We're gonna lose like this three more times.

So hold your fucking horses. I'm gonna go because you're going to bed early tonight. I'm gonna go through the transcript of the chats tonight and write down everyone that said the series is over, done, and they are banned from celebrating. Yeah, if the Brewers win it, like you don't get, you don't, you don't get to be a part of it. Don't come on here, like.

Fuck yourself! I don't care. Like I'm the most negative person in this entire state. I hate everyone and everything and every team and every like I hate everyone. But if I can see that this isn't the end of the world, then what the hell is your excuse?

Um. Oh, short story long. Ever since I stopped drinking, my sweating problem has gotten abhorrently worse. Like the smell. Oh, yeah.

What is that about? You know, when I quit smoking, I couldn't shit for like a week. Yeah. I don't think my body. I also, I also don't think you.

I don't think people understand how much I was drinking. Like. It was a lot.

Well, what else are we doing with our lives? It was now when I get when I retire. I guess I am retired already, but when I turn like seventy, yeah, it might be the Lexapro. I am on that still. Ooh, yeah, yeah.

I am gonna have to start. I am gonna have to start drinking. How much they got on? What I a lot. Yeah, same.

I got the full twenty over here, buddy. Oh yeah, me too. Downstairs ain't nothing working. Did did I tell you what happened? I don't think I told you what happened.

It's late night with Bart and Wags, where we talk about our antidepressants.

Okay, so I got to get up in five hours.

So I was taking Lexapro twenties. And then I was trying to quit drinking, so they gave me the stuff they give to like fentanyl users. And for a while, I thought I was taking 20 of that and 20 of this. I was actually taking 40 of Lexapro for like a month and a half. Don't you wish everything was more rewarding with Rakuten?

Go to row. dot co slash safety. Yeah, that wasn't good. But you still haven't had a hard on. No, I my no, I'm inoperable.

I'm inoperable. See what happens when the Brewers lose. You get the. I would have never revealed that if the Brewers won tonight. Yeah.

Hmm. Um. Okay. Let me figure out tomorrow.

So tomorrow. I'm going to get in around two. Get to my hotel. I'm sure. We don't have it ready for you, sir.

I'm going to shower. Throw your underpants in the trash again. I'm bringing a shirt and underwear to immediately dispose, and then I'm going to go right to the park. Look for me on Channel 12 in the four o'clock hour. I'll be live outside the Trop, okay.

Then I'm going to hang out until eight, I guess. And then how do I do the show after? I think I'm going to bring my laptop, give it to Channel 12. Have it in their van, and then I'll start it on my phone if I have to, I guess. Or you can start it.

I don't know yet what I'm gonna do. All right.

I mean, you you might you I don't know. You want to do that? Sure. Into the Winkler verse, I could be your Joan Rivers. Yeah.

Tim, I sent you the link. Let's talk about this ride situation, and then I need to go to bed. But I probably won't go to bed. I'll still probably watch Vision Quest. Should I just stay up, sleep on the plane?

Might as well. What should I do, Shea? I'm not tired. I I assumed I was going to be on all night. I had a coffee at ten o'clock.

Yeah, you looked like refreshed. Actually, I know. I did lay down in the other room and I did doze off for like a few batters in the fourth inning. Is Tim in bed? I am.

Tim is in bed. Tim, come with me tomorrow. God, can you like sneak me or something? Like, can I? Like do one of those Chris Farley's, like where I act as a steward, steward, steward, stewardess.

That's the female version. I'd be the steward. You know, we call them flight attendants now. Flight attendant, thing, gender neutral. Do you want to give me a ride?

I mean, what time are you leaving? Uh, my flight's at eight twenty, so. I could pick you up. Let's see. I need to be at work at eight.

Pick you up? Why? I'll just get a cab. That's so stupid. A cab?

What's a cab? An Uber. Thank you. They don't sponsor the show, so we don't give them brand recognition. Duh.

Ari. I'm just trying to see if there's any tickets available on the Rays website. Oh, Carl's going to be there from Carl's place. What have the Brewers announced a watch party yet, or the tickets sold out? I'm sure they're going to have a watch for anything tonight.

So, I honestly... Oh, they'll have a watch party. Yeah, but have they announced anything? Like, have has anyone seen anything? What section am I in?

No, we've been too busy tending to the masses. Yeah, yeah. We're we're playing psych or we're playing psychiatrists. We don't. We shouldn't need to.

You guys, you guys are grown adults. Figure it out. Like, I would have thought the the the narrative would be, and this is my naivete because I forget that I'm in Wisconsin. Like, okay, fine. You got your one.

We'll whoop your ass tomorrow. Like that should be the mentality. All right, I'm in three oh seven. What row? What if you're?

Shh. I'm like way the fuck up here. Tim Wilson, great comment. I'm hoping you're making the smartass remark that I'm expecting. What's he saying?

Wags will be over at your house anyway. He can just start the post game from the basement. Oh, banging my wife.

So these tickets are going for nine thirty from the Rays website. I bought mine. What day did I buy mine? I bought mine on October eighteenth for six fifty. Upgrade, upgrade, upgrade.

Dude, you're gonna have a beam in your way or something. Yeah. Yeah, I am.

Well, what's the view here? Fans will all leave early, and Brewers fans will move down. How do I make this bigger? This is kind of the view. That's the.

I got a great view. What are you fucking talking about? There's a whole row open, dude.

So no one cares if you're gonna stink. How are these? El Salvador. Should I like? Do a live pregame.

Yes.

Well, what happens when my phone fucking dies? Bring it. Bring two portable chargers with you. I got my charging case. All right.

Then bring the portable. Not a sponsor, but Mophie. Mophie makes these. M O P H I E. You charge it, and then you get.

Whenever my phone's less than a hundred percent, I get fucking geeked out. I need it to be at least one fifty. Tomorrow's gonna be a special day. If anyone's seriously going, please DM me or whatever. I'll I'll I have like four koozies left.

I'll bring one. How about that? Oh no! I got to give it to Derek Indiana. That's what I got to do when I hit him up on Channel Twelve.

I like Derek. Indiana, like, are you doing like a live interview with them? I'm gonna be. They're gonna be like joining us live in front of the trap is Bart Winkler, and then they cut to you, or you're like next to them.

Well, are they right next or outside? Like, they're outside. They they they broadcast outside, and then they do the they go into the game. Should I apply for a press pass? I just say, "Hey, I'm going to be there." Yeah, you have to do that in September.

And plus, you associate with me, so you're probably on MLB's blacklist now, too. Yeah, and publicly. Yeah. Jeez. Yeah, I'm sitting upper deck.

Oh, Greg, thank you. Misses me on WHBC in Canton, Ohio. I was at the Hall of Fame game, twenty two and twenty two. Jags and fuck, I don't even know. That sounds awful.

That was a good time. Tim, how do you feel? There's a lot of doom and gloom. I'm all right. You know, you got that little like pit in your stomach, but just go out there tomorrow and win it.

When would you start to be worried? Tomorrow, if they lose, no, because they win game six. Who?

Wait, can I ask you this? Who are the Rays pitching tomorrow?

Sounds like Rasmitin from everything I've seen. It has to be, and I doubt he's going to go very long because I think he's on short rest. Oh, he's big time on short rest. He pitched on Saturday. Saturday.

So. He's three days rest, or if you count tomorrow, than four.

So, whatever. Yeah, so he's on short rest, so he's not going to go long. They burn through their entire bullpen. I mean, the Brewers' bullpen has worked hella hard too, but McGill only throwing that one batter that kind of helps you bring him back. How many pitches did Ashby have tonight?

I was just going to look that up. I mean, he's the one that's the key. And and that's I wonder if that played. I thought he pulled him to save him for tomorrow. That that's exactly what I'm thinking.

Thirty-one. He has been such a weapon for them, such a workhorse. You know, you think you might when it's a tie game. You never know. You know, as long as it's a tie game, you have to plan for the possibility of playing that next day.

We need, and that's. Everyone in baseball will tell you that. Like when you are in a tie game in that situation, late innings, you you are trying to win it, but you have to plan as if you're going to have to play the next day, and you have to take that account. Unless again, you're in an elimination position. Gus says, "Not sure how long you're going to be in Tampa.

Catch a lightning game before you leave. They play on Thursday." I'm gonna be in Tampa for 16 hours. My flight's at 5 a.m. on Thursday. We need Miz to go six or seven tomorrow.

Sam, thanks for the shout out. Samantha, 499 round trips from Milwaukee to Tampa going for under 900. Oh fuck! I'm on 700 and I got layovers or whatever. Is there even a direct flight Milwaukee to Tampa, or like, what's the other airport that's down there?

St. Pete, Clearwater, Clearwater. What about Orlando? That's a hell of a haul. Fuck.

What? In twenty two hours. I'll be watching the Brewers celebrate winning the World Series live with my own eyes. Pretty cool. And I'll I'll be on this podcast trying to find some way to ruin that experience for you.

I'll come join you. No, your job tomorrow is to go get my mirror from McGuire's. Oh yes, yes. Why the fuck aren't you out, Tim? What?

Why the fuck aren't you out? Because I have to work now tomorrow. No.

Unlike you, ah yes. If we win tomorrow, I'm ah yeah. Don't worry, I got I I got a plan. Are you gonna be using a cell phone made within the last fifteen years? Hey, at least tonight I finally got connection.

It's been really hard the last like two weeks. Yeah, are you sleeping standing up? By the way, what is happening? Yes, I sleep standing up. I'm like a bat.

I just snorted. You didn't go to the park, did you? No, I took a purple gummy. Ah, I was. Go ahead.

I didn't say anything. Oh, I thought you were about to. You took a deep breath in. I'll replay that. Ah, I was at the.

I was at the bar tonight. I'm blue. Kelly's. Yep. How's Carrie Anne doing?

Okay, Samantha says my husband and I are Cubs fans, but his grandpa is in the hospital. A lifelong Brewers fan, we are rooting for you guys for him. You guys got this. I will admit that I did root for the Cubs in 2016.

So did I. I think everyone did. Like I rooted for my father-in-law, who was also. In the hospital, it was an incredibly likable group of players. It was a likable team.

You are wanting to see history. That's why the the hubris coming from south of the border is just ridiculous. And I saw, I saw their new coping mechanism tonight: three rings. Yeah, well, no, no, it's not even three rings. They're talking about if the Brewers win, it won't get nearly the engagement that the tweet announcing the Cubs as World Series champions got.

So that's their new. That's their new one.

Sorry, that makes no sense. All right, final thoughts. Go get them tomorrow. Championship for us, Mark. It's on you.

If they lose tomorrow, um, nope. The post game show is gonna be like ten minutes. Yeah, because I'm not going to do want to deal with those people. If they win, I'll figure out how to keep the party going and bring it to you. But if they lose, we can pick this back up on Friday.

I'm not doing this show again. Shout out, by the way, to Brett Winkler, who's back to being my favorite Winkler. Yeah, see that Venmo by Andrew Wagner. Hit him up. Andrew, Andrew actually is paying me to get this fucking space.

Yeah, Bart Wagner. I've never even thought about sharing my Venmo on this.

Well, you're yeah, hoard yourself out. We're not doing this for free. Yeah, I know. Bart used to pay me. How much you want right now?

Give me fifty bucks to spend them on. Fifty, yeah, done. Shut up. I'll send it to you. Oh my God, fifty dollars!

What bars do I like in Tulsa? Fifty.

Well, Tony from Texas, obviously the Mercury Lounge, the best bar in Tulsa, best live music spot, Thelma's Peach, the Hunt Club. I mean, you can't go wrong with any of them because they all got music. I was just filling time while you were sending Tim Shea funds. I'm going to send that now to. I'm going to pay it forward.

Wes Hodkowitz says he grabbed his keys after the Pratt home run, tried to go to his dad's house two miles away. Mullen scored. He let out a massive profanity. Woke up, his mom got yelled at like he was twelve, and rode home. I'm, I like, I love that Wes Hodkowicz is tweeting about the.

He's a Packers employee, and they don't. He's just like trashing. He's trashing officials after Packer games, like. They just let him. I can't believe what they let him do.

It's he's one of the good guys up there. He's one of the good guys up there. He's a little a little fun with numbers from tonight. Churio and Cooper combined to go six for eleven. Everyone else went two for thirty-two.

So, and I thought there were so many I thought were gone too. Yeah. It was just one of those nights, and you're gonna have them. You're gonna have them in a seven game series. It gets amplified because of the stakes and how close they were.

I get it. Is this normal to do with your face? No.

What are you? Jesus! What the hell is wrong with you? Try it. No.

Like pull your face off, and all of a sudden you're gonna be like Chuck Freeman or something. I'm actually. I'm wearing a mask. You can't do this. No.

I'm not even gonna try. I'm just pulling my skin off my face. I'm gonna fly to Tampa tomorrow. All right, can I go? Yeah.

Yes.

All right.

Wagner, thanks, Tim. Thanks. Yeah. We'll talk to you tomorrow. We'll figure it out, boys.

We're winning the World Series tomorrow. Thanks for stepping into the Winklerverse. Hi, it's me. Your gutters. Everything is totally fine.
