dot com, and use code podcast twenty for twenty percent off. Good evening, everybody. Welcome into the Winklerverse. We are live after Game Two of the twenty twenty six World Series, and the Brewers. Won it?
They also won the game last night.
So quick math, they are up two nothing in the World Series. What a finish! Aaron Ashby stones the Brewers left a boatload of guys on base. We'll talk about that. When am I supposed to sleep?
Says four one four Badger. You sleep when you're dead. Although I did take, I did take another three hour nap today.
So that was. That was something. I'm Bart Winkler again. Welcome to into the Winklerverse as we continue to bring you the post games of all of these Brewer playoff games, of which they've only lost one right now. They are three, four, nine, and one in the 2026 postseason.
We have done a lot of the interesting thing is we've done a lot of these games where they've trailed in the game. But then in the series we've yet to trail in a series. The worst it was was was one one. Right, it was one one. I'm Bart Winkler, Andrew Wagner joining us.
We're brought to you by First and Bull. Check them out firstandbull.com. Spell it all out. It's a great base for. Events, kids parties, adult corporate parties.
They've got wiffle ball. They've got football, bowling. They've got a nerf area. They've got a bar. If you have a kids party, how many kids parties have you been to?
And you're like, God, I wish I could have a beer right now. Tada! Full bar and not just beer.
Well, that's good too. Wigs. Look at that smile on thine face. Mazel Tov! Audio medium, audio medium.
Mazel Tov, Milwaukee. Thoughts on the game? They came back again. They did it again. They did it again.
I mean, at this point, at this point, you may as well put the damn parade chairs out. I mean, you give up a four banger in the first inning. And I'm thinking, okay, you know, I came on yesterday. I said it was a smart move by Cash to like start me up. I thought this plays right into it, and they get two back right away.
So you know, I'm not surprised by that. Then they make Rasmussen work in that second inning.
Next, you know, he's up to 50 pitches, and well, there goes your strategy. And at that point, you know, it's only a matter of time. Like the writing was just on the wall. Like it's only a matter of time. It felt inevitable today.
The whole thing feels inevitable. It's felt inevitable for weeks, and today was just proof. Josh says, "Bro, how are we not so fucking pumped?" I just before I hit go live, I was like, "I don't think I want to talk about this tonight. I just want to soak in it. I just want to live in it." You know what?
My favorite moment. I'll tell you what my favorite moment of tonight was.
So, I was out at a buddy's house, and all the kids were running around. Um, and like, you know, they're like, I think my seven-year-old's gonna be like locked in on every pitch, keeping book. But these guys are like playing in an alley and having fun and celebrating when something happens. But then I left after the seventh inning to get back home. And they live very close.
I probably could have walked, but I drove. But I drove a little bit through town, and I loved peering into other people's houses because every TV you saw had the Brewers on. The roads were completely dead, like I'm the only idiot on there. And then I think there was one guy that was delivering burritos or something. There's no, there's like everyone is so wrapped up into this, so even if like.
The Brewers aren't your clothing of choice. Just the whole town again. I'm loving it now. I I mentioned him last night, but like Ben Verlander is driving me nuts. He's like, Oh my god, Pirleman!
Oh my god, there's a downtown here! Oh my god, they have a highway I can get on! Oh my god, planes fly and land here! Like, settle down. We're not fucking Pluto.
I was. I'm fully expecting him to. Take a picture from the the press box toilet, which should be named after me for all the time I spent in there. Like, oh my god, it actually flushes in Milwaukee. Oh my god, they have drains that lead to a sewage plant, and people can live and poop inside and not have to go out and build a hole in their fucking backyard.
Yeah, people live here too, you ass clowns. Anyway, Brewers got the two zero lead, so they did take a four zero nothing lead. And I'll throw the link up here for people that are just at home, fucking hammered, or if you are coming out of the ballpark or whatever. But they put up four runs, and I, I've we've seen the Brewers come back from four down before in these playoffs, so I didn't think it was like over. But I was also thinking to myself.
You know, if we don't win this World Series, it'll still be fun to say we made it, and I'll still remember the good times and all that kind of stuff. But, but we're up to—we have to win this now. We can't. We're up to nothing. They have to win four of the next five.
We have to win this. If you if they blow this, I mean that goes down as an epic choke job, and there's no other way to look at it. It is an epic collapse if they blow this. And it's overall a pretty damn good night here in the Badger State. As I am regretting not going to the Badger game because I would have got that would have been done in the seventh inning.
I could have watched the last two innings. You follow on your phone. You watch the last two innings somewhere. You get the best seats of your life. They beat USC twenty-four to seven.
The Bucks did lose, and my bet is already fucking torched.
Well, maybe not. I need thirty wins. I just need to win one every three games. There's seventy-nine left. I think you'll be fine.
Seventy-eight left. I think. I got a new bet though. Bucks win more games than the Miami Heat, who are also owing fucking three. Oh, who could who could have saw that coming?
Which is like, I I do want to be clear. I am as happy as I've ever been. Besides the okay, so Bucks Packers winning. This is certainly the happiest I've ever been with the Brewers. But if all these are like nine point five, nine point seven out of ten, Giannis going to the Heat and losing his first three games and having three memeable pictures, one for every game, I'm a nine point one on the happy scale.
Out of you know that that should be your next gambit, the wall of Giannis, the wall of Giannis. Oh, back here, yeah. Just add like, oh fuck yeah, that's what I'm printing. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Good idea. All right, we're putting Giannis here over Blake. I still have odds somewhere. Do you want to see?
Hey, hey, Ped. When you were down four nothing, did did did you guys think you had to come back by back? And yo, or did you think maybe you wanted to rest on? And you nail, you nail the delivery.
Now, granted, the voice is actually like.
Sounds like Mr. Hankey, or not Mr. Hankey, Mr. Mackey from South Park, but you nail the alliteration and the little bit of a stammer. Yeah, like you you deliver it, Craig, Craig, Craig, Craig, Craig, Craig, Craig, no, no.
And the absolute—if that's not reason to never give the Journal Sentinel another cent of your money—bringing that dinosaur back. Oh. Craig, Craig, hot take. Jake is joining the proceedings. Oh my God, he's in the light this time.
This is like the first time I've seen him lit up. He's in the light. He's not like possibly nude. Yeah, I don't. My nipples are hard, and I'm fully erect.
Sometimes I think you're being serviced during these shows. Hell yeah! I mean, never during, but like, there's been a few times when I've called in, like. We're fresh out of the moment, you know what I mean. And my wife looks at me like, "Really?" You know, it's like that meet, um, whatever.
I've done a couple radio spots with with someone under the sheets, so I've got big plans tonight. But, um, anyways, first things first. While I am in favor of anything to say, fuck Giannis, um, I would not put a bunch of his pictures behind you, Bart, because. At some point, he might see that and be like, "Isn't that the guy that used to watch me and my kids while we were swimming?" And like, now he's got pictures of me all around. Like, it's just not a good look.
So, well, there's one very easy way to take those pictures down: is one win a fucking game, or two, come back here. Although I don't want him to. I'm sorry, I don't. I yeah. I mean, I don't think I would say no, but also I'd kind of be like.
I don't. Yeah, I mean, fuck Giannis. Why are we talking about Giannis? Fuck him. I don't know because it's fuck him hard.
Because it's funny. Because it's a good night. I enjoy it. Like everything is good right now. Yeah, that's a good.
Giannis is suffering. Bree is suffering. The Brewers just fucking went up two zero. And the funny thing about this game, I was never nervous that when they were down. When they got up and they were up one in the ninth, I got nervous, but I knew they would come back to at least tie the game, so that this team and you know did you know it'd be a Sal Frelick homer, right?
And but as as weird as that sounds, it also is the most Brewers thing this year. That he would be the guy, or someone like it would be like an Ortiz homer or something like that. Like WAG said it perfectly. I think the theme of this team is undeniable. There's there's nothing that's going to happen that they're not going to be versatile enough to just come back from.
Nothing's going to surprise them anymore. And it feels magical. It feels wonderful. And it felt so freaking amazing that the game ended on a bad call. Seeing as we've been screwed by like half a dozen of those.
Bad check swing calls the entire postseason.
So then, to see the Rays crying about it, and then the announcers crying about it. Chef's kiss, that was beautiful. Oh, my favorite moment of the night by far. Yeah, this what what more can be said? This team is electric.
Ashby, good God! I had someone text me like it's pretty obvious at this point. Like prime hater versus Ashby right now. You are taking Ashby, right? I mean, completely different players, but well, you are Ashby.
What I love about Ashby is. If if you bring him in and he does a quick eighth inning, he can just be your closer, and you don't have to go to fifteen pitches of terror. Yeah, the crazy thing is, there there were so many people that were upset after he signed that contract because remember he signed a Freddie Peralta type extension and then got hurt and then came back and kind of like stunk as a starter. Like oh you know we're stuck with this deal, he he's still under contract through with club options I think through twenty twenty nine, yeah at a ridiculously dirt cheap salary I think it's like an average of four mil a year, like was that one of the last Stearns deals? It was one of the last Stearns deals.
They signed him. It was a five year, twenty million deal. I want to say it was two thousand twenty. Was it two thousand twenty? The same year that they signed the Yelich extension, it might have been.
It looks great, buddy. Game one, game two, game three. Yeah, I mean, I got to give so much credit to him. Churio for overall. You look at his numbers in the postseason, and you are like, really?
Because it seems like he every huge moment he gets it done. Coloring's bad on this. I am kind of pissed. Go ahead. No, that's okay.
Yeah, I really, I don't know what else to say other than like again, Bard. I. I don't know if you're going to be able to see these guys have a chance to win a championship for Game Five, man.
So I'm okay. Um, I have a ticket to Game Five in Tampa. We got a plane. I've got a hotel. I feel like I'm either going to not go or I'm going to see them win.
Now, I also could have bought a ticket to Game Four, but I didn't, and partly because I coached my first basketball practice that night.
So if they win the World Series and I didn't go, I have to coach fucking basketball.
So I'm rooting for the Brewers to lose. You can call in sick. Bad for you, Bart. You could go. Can you go to that ballpark?
I don't know. By the way, those tickets. I might bucks. Brew down. Right.
I might look at those tickets tonight in Tampa because. Those are going to drop like a rock. If they win on Monday, I mean that stadium on Tuesday is going to be probably legitimately seventy to eighty percent Brewers fans. I think it's. I think it's really just going to be unbelievable the amount of.
Brewers fans that are there, I'm very excited to see that starting Monday, and I think as the week goes, it will get it will get bigger, especially if there's a five. If I mean, if there's a four, well, if there's a four, but if it's three nothing, Brewers, you know, they keep winning, they're just going to see more people go there, or even if they lose and they have a chance to clinch, you're. You're not. People are not prepared for what we are going to do to that stadium in a couple of days. And I am so happy because this is one of the things I want to bitch about.
I'll be so happy if that happens because that most annoying Rays fan on Twitter, and I can't think of what her name is now, but she called herself the Rays Vibe Ambassador, and she's been in like one Rays chick, and it's all I'm seeing. She was the one bitching about the tent party last night that there were Brewer fans there. She was bitching about the Olympic hockey. Game, see, and she's been insufferable ever since. It keeps popping up in my timeline.
My child is having to deal with all the Brewers fans. Yeah, I think a lot of people feel that way. Yeah, so I'm excited to see what happens. John says Contreras is keeping this whole thing from falling apart. I'm going to read through these comments, then we'll go through the game, etc.
But William Contreras is. The fucking greatest brewer of all time.
Sorry. He is. I mean, what he every he is the catcher. He's controlling these guys. He's beautifully blocking every ball.
He's putting the ball in play. Usually getting hits. He is literally doing everything except also throwing the balls to himself. He is incredible and challenging calls.
So I had an interesting debate yesterday with some family members. We were talking about. Don't you love when he like. Wants the challenger, then doesn't, and he just sits there with like the longest two seconds. Oh yeah, he's just like, but I can't remember if I brought this up yesterday or not.
But my me and some family members were debating. Like, let's say there's this theoretical thing where Adanacio decides to go to the emergency fund, and he's going to make one extension. Is it? And you can only pick one. Is it Tereng or is it Contreras?
And I went back and forth on this so many times. It's such a tough call. If that were the case, and it was that easy, I think it would be Contreras because they do have guys in line behind Tereng. Sure, you've got Maday. You've got um.
Why can't I think of it now? Um. Fisher. No. Middle infield, Luis Pena.
Pena, although he just like maimed his ankle, I think. Right. How's this, Giannis? There we go. If that was the case, I think they would.
If they had to pick one, assuming he would take it, I think they would pursue Contreras. But listen, I remember, not this season. Obviously, it was last season. And we were talking to Contreras during spring training, and we we kind of brought up the thought of an extension, and he kind of shut that down pretty quickly and pretty emphatically, like. He sounded every bit like a guy that knows that he is going to get absolutely paid on the market, someplace big, and had no intention of taking the so-called hometown discount to stick around.
And maybe that's changed, but he has never given off the impression that an extension is something that he seeks because he knows what what the money is going to be coming from the Brewers. He knows where the money is going to be on the open market. Oh, so you think Contreras is going to just take the biggest bag? I think I think Contreras is going to take the bag. Yeah.
Well, what's funny is, I think.
Well, hey, we just broke a record for most postseason merch sold in 48 hours. There you go. That that shit is slowing down anytime soon.
So no more free. No, no more this guy or that guy. No more emergency fund.
Okay, we are paying for some of this shit now.
Well, what's funny though is like the consensus of the conversation was it was all moot because like it's going to be hilarious that like immediately after the Brewers win the World Series, they're going to trade. William Contreras and like it's just because that's that's how baseball is. Like they have to; they can't just trade everyone. I don't give a shit. Yeah, they'll do the Marlins thing.
I've seen a lot of people bringing up the whole merchandise bullshit, but one thing to keep in mind: that money isn't going to the Brewers. That money goes to Major League Baseball and gets split up between all thirty teams, unless it's bought in the stadium. And let's face it, most people are buying their shit on Fanatics or wherever else. No Way Speedway. Did you see someone put up this?
I sent it to Bart. All right, I'll I'll show that. Yeah, someone put out the most god awful AI shirt ever. Boston May was like all the names on the roster, and half of them were wrong names. I'll show that in a sec.
I want to go through some more of these comments and then talk about the game. All these games are too close to be talking nonchalant about them. I don't know what that means, Mitch. I I don't know what that I I don't know what that means. Here's another comment.
Christopher says you're literally insane if you think the Brewers are winning this thing. MLB and theumps are incapable of not screwing them over. Plus, our starting pitchers and defense suck. Inevitable Brewers collapsing, incoming.
So, if you need to do that, get that little dick energy out of here. We're not doing that this time around. Not that, because I don't think. Here is the thing, Christopher. Normally, we would all three of us would be like, "Oh, don't say that," blah blah.
We know you're just coping because you're a pussy. Hey, we know we know you know that you think they're gonna win the World Series, so don't bring that shit here. Don't don't guard yourself from emotions. Stop it.
So that chick that was doing this after Garrett Mitchell just missed the home run, she's a meme by now, right? Like she was doing like the like that's gonna be the the small penis meme, right? Oh yeah, that that chick was she like a was she somebody's girlfriend? Because I don't know. I thought we were gonna get another Brett.

If it wasn't, I also want to present to you worst tweet of the night, and that is going to go to Jeff Wagner. Oh my god! Of formerly of TMJ, that was stupid.
So I'll read it. I have to. I have to bring back my Jeff Wagner impression. If I'm that's what I was just going to ask for. Like, please, I'm waiting on bated breath here.
It's been a while since I've done Wagner.
So he he likes to say, yeah, okay, four one four, four four one four. Seven nine nine one six twenty four one four seven nine nine seven one six twenty. Orange is a color I quite particularly enjoy here on WTMJ. What a nightmare for Fox! It's seven six thirty five on a Saturday evening, and the World Series pregame with lots of high priced advertising was supposed to start thirty minutes ago.
Instead, Fox is stuck in a double overtime college football game between BYU and UCF that nobody. Cares about four one four seven nine nine one six twenty four one four seven nine nine. Ah, so this guy's an idiot. He he wanted to watch pregame. By the way, that was a great game.
By the way, I napped the entire game. I think I'm sick. Like I have a problem because I'm taking like three hour naps every fucking day.
So we are a little worried about that here in the Winkler verse. Was your medicine, Captain Morgan? No, no, no! Today we're three months. Today we're doing good.
Good for you. Little mile, little milestone. Cheering! Yeah. During a World Series run is when I decide.
I'll drink to that. Fucking idiot, I am. Also, I love that your acting totem for that impression is just saying the phone number. Like that's what gets you. Seven nine nine one six twenty nine nine.
Oh, I haven't heard him in a long time. I used to listen to him on the way home. He used to haunt my. You know, I'd be trying to stay awake driving to work, and that would come in, and I'd hear that, like, "Oh my god, fall asleep." I love this. Is you?
What are you saying here? Oh, you said you like peering into other people's houses.
So I said, like, the beginning of the Netflix documentary. We're all going to be sitting in the chair. That my name is Hot Take Jake, and then that audio is going to play, like. Four one four Badger Ben Verlander talking about roll at the barrel is cultural appreciation appropriation and I won't stand for it. For the record, I offered to play that on my accordion for years, and they always shot me down.
And now they have some dork from Lakefront Brewery doing it. Do it now! Bust that baby out. It's out getting repaired. Your accordion?
Yeah. All right. I am fully. I'm fully in support of instead of glory days. Can we do the Milwaukee Brewers if they win it all?
Like that should be. I'm bringing up.
So is is this is he Justin's brother? I always thought so. I think he is. I don't know. So I'm going to bring up his Twitter over the last few days, just to because this is this is if there's one thing that is actually really bothering me.
It's this.
So here's a tweet where he says, "I'm absolutely loving Milwaukee." Okay, the people, the food, the beer, everything. The city's awesome.
Okay, thank you. That's good. Um, wow, I just went down Bernie slide. Fuck you. No other people get to do that.
Having the time of my life in Milwaukee. Great. Um, then he says. What is he doing here? Oh, blah blah blah.
A mini golf course, pretty sick. He had to be at the Fon statue at some point, right? What lots two brewers tailgates happen? I got experience. How about just fucking walk around, you douchebag?
Just an absolute dork. Oh, for sure. Um, what else is this? Oh, front row, Amy picture. Stupid.
My first roll out the barrel. Gotta be honest, didn't know it was a thing. Absolutely electric. I love Milwaukee. I love the people.
What a city! If you're a newbie, Third Street Market Hall is sick. Just showed up at the Fanatics fan wagon. Paul Molitor picked up a kid in a sausage suit. I love it here.
A video with the statue. Like fuck you. We're not aliens. He's no. I was not familiar with roll out the barrel.
I will never forget it. Absolutely electric. Fuck you. Is he? Am I?
Am I absurd to think this? No. Like he is. It's he's crossed the line. Yes.
Or am I just being a dork? Yeah. I'm just. I almost think he's doing a bit, but I don't think he's smart enough for that.
Well, at some point, just fucking enjoy yourself here. I don't know. Well, you know what I think it is, Bart. Like you know, everybody in the world thinks they're important, so they have to fucking tweet and Instagram everything that they do during the day. Yeah.
If we blow this, that would top the 2014 NFC champ. We're not talking. Get the fuck out of here with that shit. Fucking pussies. That's my.
Christopher's back. You clowns. Just then. Then why? I'm not.
I'm not biting. I'm not. Christopher William might be more miserable a human being than I, and that is saying something. MDK says the UCF BYU pregame was awesome football. Yeah, imagine not wanting to watch the number two team in the country go down because you want to watch Alex Rodriguez give the same five talking points he's been given since the fucking first day of the postseason.
Come on, man. Milwaukee's gonna stop with the small dick, small city syndrome, and stop acting like petulant children every time they don't get glazed or glossed over. Yeah, except the reality. Like, oh, the person that won the fifty fifty is a confirmed member of the Winkler verse. By the way, no shit.
They're not like publicly. They don't.
So I'm not gonna just. But somebody they were at the tailgate.
So then. They need to be, you know. Let's get the Winkler verse to Tampa Bay. Another tailgate, like, come on now. I'd do it if I won.
Just saying.
Well, he won one hundred thirty-three thousand dollars. That's what I am saying. He can afford it now. What's that, Wags? Said, send Wags the World Series to spite Mark Ottenasio.
Yeah, and all you Milwaukee fans, stop with the little dick energy. Do the Ball Johnson dance, just swinging. Um, all right, I'm gonna go through the game here. Let me pick up the box score.
So they scored four runs in the first inning. Where was your head at, Jake? You said you felt fine. I said, okay, we got some work to do. That's literally what I my little group message.
I said, well, got some work to do. That's it.
Well, we did some work in the bottom half of that. We picked up two back, thanks to Contreras and Mitchell, who later almost had a home run, and then Sal almost had two home runs. I also want to say I'm very happy for Cooper Pratt, like the poor kid. I saw some of the reactions on Facebook from some of these brewer groups, like let the fuck, like dude, okay, like he made a mistake, chill, and then he, you know, he ends up coming up big later. I was just, I was happy for the kid.
So there was another moment in this game that I'll bring up. It was Christian Yelich. And I tweeted, "What inning was this? What innings was Yelich at the plate? Was that the Was that inning?
Yeah, I think it was the fourth. It was early on. It's four three. Mitchell grounded out. Pratt walked.
Frelick singled. Pratt to third. Pratt scored on an air. Iranda had a tough night. Churio grounded out.
Hamill.
So Hamilton's at second. Frelick's at third, and then Bowers walks, and then Yelich is up, and he's the captain." And we praise that, and he's in the three spot. And Murphy did that. It's the same lineup from the night before. And I was talking to my buddy that I was with.
I said, "This moment that Yelich is in right here, this this moment, his whole life has built towards this moment. Like every single practice, every single game, every single thing he's ever done." Has brought him to be in the World Series at home, with the chance to take the lead, down four-three, bases loaded. You don't ask for much better than that. Like when you're in the backyard, it's three full count, down three full. You know, he Grand Slam.
This is basically that, and then he just chatted to the second baseman. And I shit on him for it, and then people are like, "Oh, you go, you don't tweet every time." I love Yelich. I'm I wax very poetic about his connection to the Brewers, but I will also he also blew that moment.
So sorry. I will say that captaincy it's kind of annoying when he does shit like that. Like, yeah, if you're the captain, you have to come through every play now or bat seventh. No, I think like I still like after he did that, I didn't tell myself your OPS needs to be two thousand. I want to believe in him.
Like I told myself, okay, he's going to get another opportunity some point in the series, and he's going to come through. Like could like the energy's there, but like, oh, it was a little bit annoying. Um, four bucks, five bucks. Thank you, Wisconsin Sports. Will Joe Davis January sixth, Am Fam?
If the Brewers win it all. The fuck did someone just bite you? Yeah, my cat. What kind of cat do you have? Can you put put it on camera?
I have an asshole cat. Come here. What's the name? Babu. Babu, like the wrestler.
Babu, like the oh, Babu from Archer. Hey, kitty. Oh, look at that baby. Cats, by the way, elite pet. Cats, dogs, and it's not even close.
Yeah, I'm a dog guy. I just ended up with a cat. I went from having a hundred pound pit bull to a twelve pound or two pound demon cat. Oh boy, he's gonna murder me! Like upgrade, prepared for this.
I can't be around cats at all. You seem like you'd be allergic, Bart. You look like you would be allergic to cats. Like that's why I'm actually not gaining weight. I'm puffy from when I saw a cat three weeks ago.
I'm still puffy from that.
Okay. A lot of people in the comments are calling for more Andrew Vaughn, which is interesting. They had a pinch hit opportunity last night. They went Sanchez. I thought we were going to see Vaughn there, maybe.
That pissed me off. Lineup was the same tonight. When are we going to see Vaughn Wagues? Or are we not? I don't know.
I mean. His OPS against lefties this year is like 900.
So if you didn't see him in that spot yesterday, we're probably not seeing him. Go. And you know, I thought, okay, maybe they leave him on the bench because the Rays do have a good stockpile of lefties in the pen. Maybe they were saving him for a late game situation if need be. I, I just, I don't get it.
That would be will we ever see Lara? Oh, Laura! Hey, Laura got Laura and Ortiz played last night. They got, they got their three innings of defensive work.
So, I'm bringing Q in to the proceedings. Wagner, Jake, Q, gentlemen, where are you, Q? I just got home from the game. Nice. Tell me about it.
I will say that. There were moments of this crowd just being very socially awkward. Like I think, bar I texted you at one point. I was like, I just heard Bernie fart. Like it's so quiet.
Like I could literally hear the the players yelling like on the field. It was so. Awkward and quiet at times. I need to ask you about this text because I heard from you. You said a lot more raise fans today than yesterday.
Not a ton, but more noticeable. And then, like seconds later, I heard from Matt, and Matt said, "I shit you not. I just got to our seats in the second to last row. I saw two raise fans. Like I unrelated from you guys at the same time." And I didn't tell either of you about the other.
I so there, I would say I probably saw like five or six times the number of Rays fans that I saw yesterday, but I saw like two people. And like, like yeah, yesterday they were credentialed.
So I guess it's all anecdotal, and you don't really know. But like, I mean, there were there were a few Rays fans in my section. They were polite. I did not talk to them because I knew if I did, there was a chance I would get kicked out. It's like my thing in playoff games, so I I just left them alone.
And. Yeah, but like watching them throughout the game was hilarious. Like they were, they were very boisterous in the first inning, and I I was sitting there like. Fairly confident because, like, I know this team, and like watching them when we scored two, like when we made it four to two, it was like I'm pretty sure they had to go change their their underwear or something. Like the entire time was so funny, and yeah, it was.
I don't know. It was it was great, but I got the other text I sent you, Bart. I was very nervous when they brought Ashby out. Because they did not play his music, and like I feel like Ashby can't play music a second time. I I mean, why?
When a wrestler has his first entrance and he has the music, if he comes back again later in the show and he plays the music again, you can't do that. You got to bring him in from like the crowd or some shit. I don't know. Like else, he can't play the theme song twice. No, because like every time Wild Bill comes up, we hear them trumpets.
Well, that's a that's an at bat. Yeah, but like this is this is the future MVP of this series. This is Aaron Ashby. Like, give the man his credit. He's a future Hall of Fame pitcher.
If I'm a reliever, I'm doing the Roman Reigns entrance. I'm taking like seven minutes to get from the bullpen out to then just literally. And I'm making somebody hand me my glove like the guy hands him the title. I hand me my glove. I don't know.
I I maybe it was sensitive to it, but like. It felt like they're playing like Holland. I was for something else. Like, how is this guy who walks out the EDM? Maybe that's his backup.
Ready to go.
So I'm bringing Marcus in as well. We've got Andrew, hot take, Jake. Yeah, I'm gonna drop out. Q. All right.
Can I? I just wanted to say something about the crowd, quick, because I texted Bart yesterday about the crowd sucking ass, and no, I didn't want to bring it up because I wanted to stay positive. And the funny thing is, number one, you. Got to remember, the type of people that bought these tickets for the most part. This is their first game of the year, or their first game, or their first game, any of their or their first game ever.
You got a lot of people. You're wrong, Jake. Go to a game. You got a lot of people. I mean, I to me the results.
I have been. If it was go to a game, it would be lying critique. I I have gone to countless NBA games, including every single home game of the the finals run for the Bucks, including the clinching game. I've been to like a lot of notable Brewers games, and I'm telling you that. And I've been to two Final Fours, including like overtime Final Four.
Okay, pick pick up the names. No, but I'm humble brag. No. I'm telling you that yesterday gainfully employed and making a livable wage. Yesterday was the loudest crowd I've ever been a part of, and I'm not joking.
You and you guys know I'm across on TV. That's Fox's fault. That is Fox's fault. I I'm telling you that yesterday the crowd was insane, and I I will say today. Here's what's funny because I texted a bunch of people that were at the game that I said, "Man, that crowd sucks.
You guys need to go get it going." And I think because of the amount of money they paid for that tickets, they did not like me saying that. They were like, "What the fuck you talking about? It's fucking loud as hell in here." And I'm just like, "Hey, I'm just telling you what I'm hearing." I I will say that today today's crowd had. Like there was some angst. It was like a definite nervous energy after that first inning.
But like when they needed to stand up, they would stand up. And I would say like Dan says enough crowd talk, and I am gonna agree with him. Yeah. Anyways, Marcus, what's up, bro? Yeah, I'm leaving.
I'm getting the fuck out of here. But I love you guys, Brewers and four. Enjoy your enjoy your activities, Jake. Yeah, are you pooping right now? Is that a shower curtain?
Don't worry about it. Yeah, are you gonna let me sing the Bill Michael song as I go this time, or yeah, cut me off? Go ahead. All right, let's do. We all just want to be the big round stones, never never gonna find a gun.
Fifteen barrels out of bed. No, hold on, I like the other one. Got. To have the hottie with the million dollar body, come on, Marcus, take the floor. That's that's hilarious.
Oh, by the way, Marcus's hat is available at my fourth wall store. I was just gonna say, in the words of Chris Rock, take off that silly ass hat. Yeah, I was using your your koozie at the game today, Bart.
So thank you. Oh, sure, that's great. That is great, great, great, great. All right, what's up? Crazy.
No, I just I had a housewarming party today, so I wasn't really engaged in the game. Didn't even have it on the TV till like the third inning.
So I was score watching. How do you not make that a brewer party? I live in Texas. That's why. Turn the game on the TV.
Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I only missed like the first two two innings.
So that's all right. I didn't. Hey, I didn't see the last inning because I was in the kitchen listening because I couldn't watch.
So I mean, when I saw the score, I was like kind of happy I wasn't watching. You guys are talking about the check swing, and I'm like, sure. I don't fucking know. I just heard it was out, and I started. I couldn't watch.
I couldn't fucking look at it. I'm sorry. Yeah. Let's see. Yeah, I was also like nervous that like Sydney Sweeney was gonna come across the TV and like there's a bunch of kids around and stuff.
So I was like, "That's that's fine." I waited until most of them left or calmed down a little bit. But my kid's taking a shine to that commercial. Really, my wife hates it. He's always like, "There's that girl that just... There's that girl that's not wearing clothes.
That's so silly, Dad, isn't it?" I'm like, "Huh? What? Do they... Do they still have? I haven't watched a game yet on TV.
Do they have the row commercials? Yeah, Megan Fox. Is that the Megan Fox one? Nice. Megan Fox is still there.
All right, go ahead again, Marcus. Oh nothing. I was I was just saying like I'm super happy. I kind of wasn't watching the game because if I would have watched the the four oh, I just would have been super stressed and like. Not, it would have been a vibe killer to the party, and the rest of the people in Texas probably would have looked at me like I was a weirdo.
So, they got to watch my reactions to them, like kind of coming back down four zero.
So they saw the opposite, which was fun. It was a little really good time, and I, I don't know. There was never a doubt. Same thing with like LA Dodger game when they're down four zero. You know, it's it's not over till I don't.
I don't know if there wasn't a. I don't know. I I once for me there wasn't never a doubt. But it was, it was still like okay. There's a like.
There's a like. Yeah. Four nothing is not; it's not over, right? Maybe they have they have work to do, great. Like maybe, like they can do that work.
Maybe they might lose, but they're not losing by four. You know, maybe they'll come back and lose four three or you know six six four or whatever. You know, they'll they'll make a game out of it.
So I just kind of got patient and waited for that comeback.
So I am glad it came what it did.
So, how do we feel about this going forward? Do we want to start to look into what we think is gonna play out? I mean, we all think they're gonna win, yeah. Yeah, I mean, I mean, we were up three two in eighty two, right?
So, we were.
So, Bart, what day do you fly to Tampa? Wednesday morning, game five morning. If if we were to sweep, you could like just not go. Yes, I'm not going to Tampa if we sweep.
Well, because it it will change. Like what you said there was going to change what I was rooting for. Like, don't root for me to see a game. No, I don't want. Like, I didn't want you to fly Tuesday and then like not get to see Game Five.
Oh no, no, no, I.
So like, if we sweep, you don't go. I don't want to get on this plane, connect, go back the next day. I mean, it'd be fun as shit. But if I didn't have, if they could just win Tuesday, I don't want to see them lose. I'm not going to root for them to lose so I can be there.
I don't. I don't want to fly that. Like, imagine people are like, "Oh, imagine paying three grand for a ticket if the Brewers lose." Well, they haven't yet. But then imagine flying down to Tampa just to go see a fucking like loss. I don't want to see that.
I mean, I do want to go, but I don't need. I I will be if I live my life saying I didn't go to a World Series and I bought Game Five. Oh, I should have bought Game Four. I should have just ponyed up for one and two. Like.
I'm okay with that because I'll go next year. Yeah, but you like you spent a bunch of money on road games for Packer games, and they lose every time you go to that.
So yeah, that's getting fucking old. I will say that is getting pretty old. And we're going to the Saints this year, and I don't feel like that's an easy dub anymore. Yeah. Also, the Packers play tomorrow.
Also, who cares? Yeah, I saw the advertisements on the back of behind Contreras. Yeah, I got pissed because I'm like, oh, I gotta watch this fucking team tomorrow. Yeah, Packers line. I'm gonna be real.
I don't even know who the Packers. I'm Wigner. I'll give you a hundred bucks if you just host a Packer game post game for me, and I don't have to. Hell yeah! Oh baby.
What about an AI BartBot that just felt ass? Yeah, you could, you could talk. You could talk Packers Lions. There were some other things in this game that I wanted to bring up. I want to go through the play-by-play on that.
The one where Simpson dropped the ball. What inning was that in? That was the big. That was the big inning. That was when we.
For some reason, I watch these games, and I like can't fucking remember. Wasn't that in the sixth?
So the fourth, we scored a run. The sixth, Frelich homered in the sixth, and then we did jack shit with that.
Okay, so it was the seventh then. Tarang doubled to center. No, I don't know what inning that was in. What the fuck inning was that in? The what?
Did they count that as an error? They would have had to of. Who even hit that ball? Hamilton. No, Hamilton had the one where Aranda fucked it up at first.
Hamilton was like the third batter. I think he was after that. Because I don't think we scored off of that, did we? I'm gonna start taking notes. I don't remember.
I don't know. Remember? Fucking remember. Yeah. Nothing.
Okay. Nothing.
Oh, Yelich hit that one. No. Yelich didn't hit the air. Get it together. I think he was on base.
I'm clearly as if you know the answer. I'm clearly asking the question.
So tell me.
Somebody ask AI. My wife asked AI. He came up to bat in like the eighth or ninth. My wife, or the seventh or eighth. My wife was like, "This guy stinks." Went overboard tonight, I think.
I'm not somebody who likes to talk a lot during games. And then after the game, all my emotion comes out.
So I was really throwing a lot of fuck yeah, hell yes after the game. But like during the game, if you're with me, people ask like, "Are you having fun?" And I'm like, "I'm not sure. I mean, I'm enjoying this, but I wouldn't call this fun. I like that I'm watching my team play in the World Series, absolutely. But during the games, I mean, if there's any sport that's awful to watch, it's this one.
You know, whereas it's always fun to watch a game. At the Potawatomi Sports Book, if you get a Coon platter, that's right. I get the, I got the, I got the John Coon fullback platter. Shout out sponsors. Did I not yell when Sal went yard?
Bowers walked and Yelly hit the pop up. All right, what Sal was allegedly—that's proof that the Brewers are cheating, according to Twitter. What? Yeah, there's, there's, there's a. I'm not on Twitter.
So fill me in. It's amazing that that somehow, because Sal Frelick was able to hit a 93 mile an hour dick high fastball down the middle for a home run, it's proof of the the Brewers' rampant cheating. Just as Garrett Mitchell's dick high fastball down the middle of the plate against the Dodgers was proof of rampant cheating, like. It is the stupidest fucking thing in the world. Second stupidest thing that people are talking about on Twitter.
I'll get to the other one at the end of the show, but Dodgers fans of all people. Listen closely. You don't get to talk about cheating. Your fucking owner is being investigated for massive securities fraud, which has allegedly funded his payroll machine that has made you back-to-back champions.
So maybe shut the hell up because you don't know what you're talking about.
Well, the some of it's fun, like. When the Brewers put the fireworks off because they thought the game was over, and then they're like, "Oh, he's got to hit through smoke, cheaters!" I love you too, Tim. Tim, I love you too. I just I need help there. You know who's having a bad day is that Bush MVP dork from Chicago.
Him and that Bleacher Blog dork. They're having a they're having a bad go of things. Brett something. Brett Taylor. Yeah, blog boy.
Hmm. I I saw Brett in Tulsa the other at game one. Oh yeah, you guys talk. Yeah, he doesn't live in Tulsa anymore. Where did he move to?
Manitowoc. What? That must have been the guy that won the fifty fifty raffle that Bart was talking about. No, it wasn't him. Was somebody else?
The Bleacher Nation dork. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Um, no. Bless these guys. Casual fair weather fans from Tampa mean nothing.
I don't know what that's in reference to. There are I I do feel bad for Rays fans because like there are some that are diehards for that team, but it's only like seven hundred and fifty people, so like they don't have like the best. The best part about this is everyone is the same. Except for wigs, but everyone's the same. Like when Euchre died, we're all like, "Yeah, I remember Euchre because of." And then everyone gave the same fucking memory.
Oh, I listened to games with my grandpa. Oh no, you too? No fucking way. You want to know my Euchre memory? I'll tell you my Euchre memory.
When I was growing up, my face was not as perfectly shaped as it is now. Believe it or not. My ears stuck out way bigger. I mean, they stuck out.
So my euchre memory was me just loving life at recess, and then people coming up to me from behind me and going, and I'm like, "What are you doing?" They're like, "We're trying to get euchre on the radio." So that's where my origin story started. I think. Alex says Pete Crow Armstrong is having a blast of a time with his MVP. My buddy saw Euchre's Dick when he was a Bat Boy.
Now that's a memory. It sounds like some Alter Boy shit. Um, Tim's Fork Mike says Bart thought you'd like to know you have more YouTube viewers than twelve fifties post game. Yeah, but they're on the radio, and that'll be forever. The radio.
Although I had a comment, I'm not going to make it. I'll take the high road here. Is that ears thing a real story or a Joe Davis story? That is a real story. Oh yeah, the thing about Victor Mesa is, he he was out this morning and he ran into a race fan at the hotel, and the race fan said, "Hey, Victor, hang in there.
That's the kind of attitude the Rays are bringing into this game, four nothing Tampa." By the way, why isn't there a Quick Trip in this city? Yeah, I tried to get a Quick Trip coffee today, and I had to go outside of city limits. But it's still in Milwaukee County, and somehow that's good enough for some people. Also, it's not Quick Trip's fault. You real?
You realize Bart, why there's no Quick Trips in Milwaukee? No, I don't. Why don't you fucking tell me? Taxes. Oh, you realize?
Well, fucking say it. Sharks were circling around Yandy Diaz's raft, according to Joe. I missed that story, but he just makes up fucking stories, and no one cares. What's he doing? You know, you know who I gained respect for today or the last two days?
Ryan Braun. Ryan Braun. He he legit. Brought it, and I don't. I guess did they show him like so?
At one point, he's like in a suite with Paul Molitor, Robin Yount, um, and it was like some random Packer player, but he was like, "I'm here with Paul Molitor," and he literally goes, and Robin. I mean, Robin Yount. It was like the coolest thing I have ever seen. Like, and and then his his two like hype ups before the first at bat yesterday and today, like he. I don't know if he's just a showman or if he was like that hyped, but I'm telling you, he could like do pregame or like he could do like ringside stuff for WWE.
It was so good. I I like. I I don't know. Like I I'm back on the Ryan Braun fanway.
Well, real ones never left Q. Yeah, real ones know he took drugs for us. For us, he wanted to stay healthy for the fans and defended it. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I then and then he's like, oh, oh, but he threw that UPS guy under the bus.
Oh yeah, that's the guy you're gonna rally for. There's people dying every day across this planet. You don't give a shit about them. But this guy had his feelings hurt, and Bron made up to him. I, I am not joking though.
He literally was like. Robin, fuck, and like he stopped. Like I don't know how they. I don't know how he stopped. Like he said half of the f word.
It's the funniest thing I've ever seen. Bood says Ryan Braun is phony as fuck. Wigs. Yep.
Well, he won me over today. The thing about Braun is. I know that, but I don't care. Is hot take Jake still commenting? I thought his plan was to get off the podcast and go tap the old lady.
Yeah, shower with your wife, Jake.
So apparently he got shot down. Or he finished. Red says, or maybe he's a minute man. Way to go, Jake. Good job.
This from Brett Zimmerman. Take care of yourself, buddy. Would it make more sense to start Brandon Woodruff tonight? Have May come in as a piggyback reliever and save Kyle Harrison for Game Three?
Okay, first off, saving Kyle Harrison is not a sentence that exists. Yeah. Um, I don't know. I was talking about that tonight. Like, when are we going to see Woodruff?
When it's six nothing, he's on the roster for the deciding game and the deciding game only. You think, like, yeah, absolutely. Because if he gets hurt, we're fucked. Yeah. You don't think they like throw him as an opener in game four or something?
No. I think I think if the Brewers get the lead in their decisive game, he's coming out to pitch the next inning to close it out. Yeah, I don't think they'll pitch him on the road. Why not? Because they won't.
What are the statistics? What are the statistics on that in baseball? Because like I don't understand. I brought it up with you the other couple weeks ago, Bert, about a pinch hitter, and they did it game one again with Gary Sanchez. Dude's been sitting on the bench for three hours, and like is ice cold, and they throw him in a bat at the bottom of the eighth.
Like I don't really understand that. Perspective or mindset of the game, and then same for like Woodruff. Dude hasn't pitched in forever, and you don't think the nerves—like he hasn't had a playoff pressure—and they're just going to throw him in and think it's going to be nice. It'd be nice if there was like a seven-nothing cushion where you could have him just be out there. But that's not happening in this series.
Yeah, it doesn't feel like that's that's what's gonna happen. Although, what if we had a big inning? You know, I was talking to somebody today about how to. Oh no, shit! That was about the Packers, or was it about the Brewers?
Someone said, "How do you?" Yeah, it was a Brewers. How do you beat the Brewers? I said, "You got to go up on them early." You get. Oh, that doesn't work to show up to a game. That didn't fucking work.
Tamp on Bay is cooked. That's a good one. Tamp on Bay. Game four opener. Brandon Woodruff.
Tim Allen said, "Save him for extra innings." Absolutely not. Yeah, there's a reliable source. Speaking of, why don't you like instead of the YouTube views that Tim was talking about? If you combine YouTube, X, Twitter, Facebook, and all of them, then it's even better on your part. Bart, if what you combine all the views, he said YouTube alone, but you're streaming on multiple platforms. Oh fuck yeah! Let's go!
Let's go! Winkler verse. Rise up! Can I say something about the broadcast? They were talking about.
I saw McGill's walk out to Metallica on X. Why? Why doesn't Fox show that commercials? You mean yesterday? Yeah, from game one.
Commercials. Commercial breaks are longer in the postseason than they are during the regulars. Yes, but however, they also show commercials during at bats. You got you got my older brother, the Capital One guy, up there on fucking TV during a fucking at bat. Tony's here to just shit on Giannis.
Okay, we're doing that too. Yeah, Giannis is right here looking. Confused. That's Tony. Get in here.
This has become. We miss you. Don't make me go wake up my son. We have Lafleur. We have Blake's now.
That's the best one. Tom Hodrickle. You know, Badgers won tonight. We have Giannis. Giannis.
Giannis. Yeah, Badgers. Um, I should get Caleb Williams was at the game. I should get that. Which game?
The USC Badger game. Really? Yeah. So both of his both of his teams have gotten belted ass from Wisconsin teams this year. Yeah.
All right. Um, I'm gonna let you two go. I'm just gonna chat with Wags a little bit and then wrap it up. Later, guys. Go crew.
See you guys, Marcus Q. Thank you. Whoa! Hey now, big heads. All right, I know there's something you want to get off your chest, but I'm gonna pull this up first.
It was that image that was. I think this was at a was this at a Green Bay pop up tent? Was that where that was? I don't know where it was.
Someone had it on Twitter.
So there's all these pop up tents, and we know there's going to be misspelled merch. And there was the Misurowski that had a U in it at the beginning, and that was funny. We all laughed at that. But we got to look at this one, this new picture, which I have just lost now. But I'll I'll bring it up.
I'll pull it up here. Where basically you can tell it's total AI slop, like bar none. This is some of the most AI slop you're ever going to see in your life. I'm struggling to do this.
So the other thing you wanted to bitch about, you do that while I figure this out. Yeah, I bitch a little bit about it so far. The whole cheating thing. Like, I've always known that people are dumb, especially people on Twitter. But I am so sick and tired of this narrative about the TV ratings.
Over and over and over, and it's usually a bunch of Dodgers fans and a bunch of Yankees fans who accidentally wipe their ass with Clorox bleach wipe. There it is, Boston May. I'll get back to it. But so I know a lot of those those West Coast and East Coast trolls like to pop on here and talk shit. Here is the thing.
No one gives a rat's ass about the TV ratings. You think no one gives a rat's ass about the World Series? No one gives a rat's ass about the TV ratings. And I'm sorry that your team sucked so ungodly bad that it lost to the poverty ass Milwaukee Brewers. And sorry Yankees fans that your behemoth lost to the cheap poverty ass Tampa Bay Rays.
But no one gives a shit if you're not watching the game or not. You're like the assholes that go on Twitter and make some stupid political rant or Facebook.
Well, I believe this and this and this, and if you don't agree with me, unfollow me right now. Which is like the biggest showboating bullshit ever. Just shut up about the TV ratings, LA, New York, every other big city. No one gives a shit what you think. About the ratings, no one gives a shit what you think about the matchup.
Your team's lost. Suck it up, put your big boy panties on, and deal with it. And if you don't want to watch it because your team's not in it, just say so. But coming with contrived bullshit like nobody cares about this World Series, you're the reason that everyone hates the coast. You're the reason that people talk about the coastal elites.
You're assholes. We don't give a shit what you think. Shut the fuck up. I'm done. Very good, Andrew Wagner.
I do have an applause sound effect, but I'm also not quick on the trigger with that tonight.
So I, I failed you in many ways. That's why I don't know where Tim keeps going to these games. I don't have my in-house producer here. Also, can we stop calling Tampa Bay a small market? They're like, I think the number 11 biggest in Major League Baseball and the 19th biggest TV market in the country.
Their owner is just cheap. And their fans don't show up until the very end, so barely. That even Tampa Bay is not small market. Stuart Stenberg and I only sold the team was just a cheap ass. They're not small market.
They're legit the cheap ass that people accuse Attilio of being. The reason that when you get to the World Series. The big market teams do draw a bigger number, is because they're also the only teams that are crammed down our face the entire year.
So there's familiarity with them. Baseball does not do. Baseball doesn't do a good job. Slash, baseball's not built for. It's not built for like the NFL.
It doesn't matter who's in the Super Bowl. Everyone knows it's the Super Bowl. Yep.
But baseball is not built for that because your team plays six, seven days a week, and you don't have. When are you watching another game? And it's always at the same time as everybody else. That's why I do think there needs to be more day baseball so you can give. You know, nobody works anymore, so you give us all a chance to watch a game and learn about another team.
The Cubs, people watch more Cubs game because there's Friday at one twenty. They know. The home games are going to be. There's at least some TV window there. There's just there's you don't have a chance.
Even though there's more games, you have a chance as a normal sports fan to know a lot more about the Cleveland Browns or a lot more about the Cleveland Cavs than you ever will about the Cleveland Guardians because you just don't see it because that's not how the sports presented because they don't have the avenue. To present those, okay, I I just don't get how people are saying this World Series is boring because it's small ball and whatever. Like, what the hell? I'm sorry that last year Freddie Freeman hit a big home run, lickety doo doo. It was last year's fucking World Series, and you got your ass kicked this time.
This is just as exciting. Then there's some fake ass. AI generated ratings that like the Brewers had that was fake. That was so who who cares enough to fake it? Like now we're now we're faking and now everyone's arguing about the ratings, which you are you have just watched two.
Like if I was a if I was just watching baseball, I watch World Series all the time. Of course I will. It's the World Series. Yep.
I'd be like, wow, these are two amazing games. Yeah. And then tonight, I would have watched if it wasn't the Brewers, I would have watched the Badgers, and I would have flipped over a handful of times or had it on the computer because I want to know what's going on. And this this is a compelling series, and maybe the Brewers do sweep or win in five. And you know, the Lakers a couple years ago played a series against the Nuggets where the Nuggets swept the Lakers, but it was like so compelling; every game was close.
You'll never remember it because it was a sweep. This could go the same way, but these like people people are just so desperate to have something to watch that's entertaining. Here it is, and then and then you're bitching because you don't like the colors of the jerseys or you don't like the city names of where they're playing. Apparently, what Major League Baseball was supposed to do was void the results of the ALDS when the billion dollar Yankees got their fucking asses belted by the Rays, and should have voided the results of the NL. See us when the Brewers went belt to ass against the billion dollar Dodgers and just put those two teams in the World Series for the ratings.
Sorry, your teams sucked. Deal with it. Ricky Spanish says only ten teams have come back from being down o two in the World Series. The last was in '96. I don't know if that's true.
Sounds true enough to say.
So maybe, um. Grand Theft Auto comes out November nineteenth. I've never played a second of Grand Theft Auto in my life, but this commercial is so fucking good. I got to play this fucking game. Also, more Doomsday trailers, the better.
The only time I'm telling people to shut up, I got kids running around to this party tonight. They're running from the TV screen. I don't care if it's during the game, but when that Doomsday trailer come on, I say shut the fuck up. How the Pokemon trade commissioner go? Isn't that what you were doing tonight, policing Pokemon trades?
Oh, I told you that. I was like, "How the fuck do you know that?" Yeah.
So they all brought their binders and we're trying to trade Pokemon, and then my kid was going to make a trade with a five-year-old, and he was going to rip him off. And I had to be like, "Don't rip them off, bud." What kind of father are you? I can't. We can't be ripping off kids in the neighborhood. Oh, I forgot.
Peralta pitches game three. Who's pitching for us? I believe that's to be determined. I haven't seen. I guess I could look to see if Murphy or any of these guys have talked yet.
They probably have. All right, let's pull up. They're probably still waiting to get through Tom Salilicui before the first question. Let's pull up this shirt. Is there a way to even make us smaller?
Well, that didn't really work. That just kicks you out of there. All right, so this shirt is clearly made by AI. Your first indication, and if you're on just audio, it's a shirt. It's a City of Champions, and then the O is a baseball, but the baseball's already fucked up.
So that's your first indication. This baseball's got like a line across it that doesn't exist. Here's the Brewers roster according to this. According to this T-shirt, number two Bryce Terang, number three Joseph Ortiz. That's fine.
Number five Garrett Mitchell, six David Hamilton, nine Jake Bowers, ten Sal Frelick, eleven Jackson Churio.
So so far you're fine, right? Twelve Cooper Pratt. Does this say sixteen, Luis Arias? Yeah, yes, it does. Twenty, Brandon Lackridge.
Yep.
Twenty-one, Boston May. Twenty-two, Christian Yellich. Twenty-four, William Contreras. Twenty-five, Aaron Ashby. Twenty-six, Andrew Vaughn.
Twenty-nine, Trevor McGill. Ashby, isn't he twenty-six? Yeah. Thirty-two, Jacob Misurrowski.
Somehow they got right. Thirty-three is not Jojo Romero, who pitched great tonight. Should mention Jose Romero. Thirty-eight is Chad Patrick, except he wears number thirty-nine. Forty-one is Bryce Wilson.
Forty-two is Lucas Knudsen. Who is that? I don't know. Forty-five is Abner Uribe. Forty-six is Antoine Bisatella.
So that was supposed to be Sensatella, right? Yeah. Fifty-two is my favorite. Kyle Harrison. It's not Kyle Harrison.
It's Ryle Harrison. The AI thought the K was an R. Brandon Woodruff, Robert Gasser. Oh, Gasser will pitch, right? Gasser.
Yeah. Yeah. Sadie Ordman. What is the Sadie Ordman? I need to find whoever posted this shirt to tell me where it is so I can go get it.
And then, fifty-nine, Gary Sanchez. And I don't know—is that Bill Shakespeare? I can't see real well. Does that say World Series 2028? It looks like to me it does.
So wherever this shirt is, I need all of them. Yeah, I desperately need that shirt if it's available. Yeah, I'm seeing a lot. I'm seeing a lot of knockoffs now that aren't even like. In gas stations, I'm just seeing them on corners of streets, people's houses.
There was a real bad Yelich knockoff I saw on the broadcast tonight. Oh, Justin Spanby! Hey, Justin, new member the donation club. I set the price at three ninety nine just to show your thanks. I'm not sure that's what YouTube charged you, though.
So maybe it was more. Either way, Justin appreciate you. Jeffrey wants to know what our favorite Sadie Ordway memory was. Oh, Jeffrey, I think appearing on a knockoff World Series T-shirt at a Milwaukee gas station is probably my favorite Sadie Ordway memory. Is John Dowd on there?
No, that would be a good one. MVP O five. The seam on the baseball wearing the hat is all fucked up. Yeah, that. If I'm gonna say top five favorite things, the baseball is top five.
Ryle Harrison, I think, is one. Luis Arias being on here is a big one. Boston, mate, because it's right at the top. It's so good. And and I love I love Lucas Knudsen.
I'm all about Sadie Ordman. Can you haggle at these tents? Harmon wants to know. I got to imagine, but maybe not. Maybe they're like, "No, this Sadie Ordman shirt is one of a kind.
I need one hundred dollars." So Sadie Ordman is apparently supposed to be Grant Anderson. Ow! Ow! Sadie Orman. I want to get.
I want to find like the the Chinese knockoff jersey company and and make some of these. All right, Gasser was announced. I think that.
Okay. I should have known that. Yeah. Gasser versus Freddie Peralta, Game Three, Monday night. I'll be at the watch party at Miller Park, but I want I so on Monday night I'll I'll either do this in the parking lot or I'll do it late.
I don't know yet. It'll be spectacular. We laugh, but MLB put the wrong yellow gold on our World Series shirt. Did they?
Well, I mean, you can blame that on fanatics. Fanatics is dog shit. Yep.
And Michael Rubin, um, if he was born at any other time, like he would not have this kind of access and money. He would be burned at the stake for being a witch. Yeah. This guy fucking sucks. He is dog shit.
Yeah. He buys his friends. Yeah. When you see a five-three white guy. Hanging out with no one shorter than six five.
You know those that—that's not—that's not real. That dude has sniffed more jocks than any hooker in American history. Matt in the Falls was at the game. There is no Winkler verse without Matt in the Falls. I'll promise you that.
It's something. Did I miss everyone? Ah, yeah, we had people coming in and out.
Okay, because I had to walk through the VA, through the VA hospital property. I can't even imagine how many people have been murdered there. Not in the hospital, but on the path behind the VA hospital. You went to the game tonight. You went to the game.
Oh yes. Uh, yeah, I went to the game. Uh, I saw. I was in the second row from the top. Third base side, section 434.
Shout out to the guys who snuck weed in with a glass pipe and matches, and we're smoking weed behind my elderly parents. It was cool though. Nothing wrong with a little weed, you know that. I saw yeah, promo code Bart, twenty five percent off. Yes, I saw exactly two Rays fans the entire night, and I saw them before the first inning.
So, just the saddest, the saddest fan base ever. My parents have a place down there. There's so much money down there; it's ridiculous, and they can't even come to a baseball game. Just, just really sad. The Frelick home run was unbelievable.
I almost killed the guy in front of me, jumping up and down and falling over. As, as soon as we were down four zero. The inning ended, and we were just like, okay, you know, we got a couple strikeouts there. And I sat down, was like, there's absolutely nowhere we're losing this game. Four runs, couldn't care less.
Zero worries, zero doubt. And we just chipped away, made it happen. It was perfect. This is our year, and because it's our year, when we get down, I don't care at all. Because I just know that we're going to win.
It's a fact, and it always is. Was the Frelick moment the best of the night? The Frelick homer. Yeah. Oh yeah.
Like the loudest. Yes. Free like that was. Yeah. That blew the roof off the place.
Oh. Also, I didn't mention. I think Chirio is safe. By the way, at the plate. Uh.
Yeah. So did everyone there. Yeah. It's hard to overturn, but there was a big when they showed the then when they showed the replay. There was a big cheer.
Yeah. Because we were like, okay, we just got another run. Great. Yeah, I really hoped that we could cash in there. I would really like Frelick to hit that second.
Frelick hits that second home run. Milwaukee is on fire right now. Oh, oh, God, yes. We were. There was a big.
Oh, it was. That would have just. I don't even know. I would have been speechless, like I already am. Oh no, not not the old Matt in the falls freeze.
Nope. Nope. Lots of VA lot. Maybe he was killed over there. Head on over the fourth base and say hi to CJ and the crew.
I don't know. I just I just got home and my phone is deciding if it wants to be on internet or Wi-Fi, so I would bounce off here. Oh yeah, that happens. We love you, buddy. Hello, I love you too.
Brewers and four. See you, man. Brewers and four. I'm starting to think it's not impossible. The sweep.
Yeah. Well, okay, so this is what.
Well, what happened with the Padres series? What happened with the Dodgers series? You go back. It's Game Three. It's their first home game.
Yep.
I said it would happen. I said it would happen. The Padres series. That's not. That's not what we're walking into, though.
Nope. We're walking into. People that couldn't afford to go to this are now going to that. I am really curious to see how how many Brewers fans are there Monday night. I mean, there's a ton of cheesers that have moved to Florida.
I mean, Florida is basically all expats. Like, I would think Tuesday has more than Monday, but maybe. Fuck! I don't want to. I mean, I want to be at a World Series game.
I do, but I also don't. I don't. I don't want to travel down there. It's not about me. It's just.
It's just my life. And over under thirty percent Brewers fans. Game three over. Yeah, I'm definitely going with the over. And then game four.
I'm going to put game three at about forty percent. I'm gonna put Game Four at about 65. Yeah, I I think like word has gotten out that Brewers fans were buying up tickets and traveling down there, and I think I think race fans are gonna start selling, especially if they go down three zero Monday. We've got a rabid fan base. We're gonna travel.
We want the tickets. We couldn't buy them here. We will pay if you want to make some money for being a Rays fan. We will pay. I mean, we probably one World Series ticket probably covers your season tickets for the next five years.
Yeah, we will pay. Jake thinks there'll be fifty percent. We'll find out on Monday night. We're gonna have another show tomorrow after Packers Lions. Probably just talk about the Brewers.
Honestly, I don't give a fuck. I just do not give a fuck at all. How could you? How could anybody? Honestly, I care.
I care more about the Badgers right now. I think. I mean, I always care more about the Badgers than I do the Packers. But you're required to care about the Packers because you're an owner. Yeah, I got my piece of paper right here.
It's somewhere down here. Just put in my frame of shame. Frame of shame. The shame frame. The shame frame.
All right, my computer's dying, so this is a forced exit. All right, Wagner, good to see you. Good to see you. We'll talk. Maybe I'll hijack the Packers show just for shits and giggles.
We'll be here. Yeah, we'll be here. And thank you to all of you up to O with a much needed day off. But now I gotta watch the fucking Packers. God damn it.
Happy! We can watch Rogers in Paris as the fucking real city's on fire. That's cool. He'll be out there riling up the protests. Yeah.
Should Rogers kneel for the for the France national anthem? Should he lock arms with JerMichael Finley? That's a one-way ticket to hell. All right, thanks for stopping into the Winklerverse, lawyers. The argument is clear as right after the call.
