Who get it done? Get, yeah, who he who how? Evening, everybody. Welcome into the Winkler verse. Um.

I need to get in like broadcast mode. I am not in. I am not in broadcast mode. I am in. I am in.

Sit back and drink some happy place hemp. Promo code Bart and stare at the ceiling mode. I am in. I am in. What is happening mode?

Even though I think I just told Grant and Paul this week. That it feels like we've already won it all, and now it's just a matter of dotting the i's and crossing the t's. But in real life, you know, you can you can fantasize and daydream, or be worried about, or dread, or whatever. You can you can you can play out outcomes in your head however you want. This is real life.

The Milwaukee Brewers are up three nothing. In the National League Championship Series, there's yelling going on upstairs. I don't know what's happening. The Brewers won this game six-two, which I predicted, by the way. But that's not fair because I've been predicting every game this entire playoffs to be six-two.

So finally, my number hit. But we saw the final out, and we were just kind of like. Like that face that Nathan Fuler makes in that preview, where he's like, "Is this? Is this for real? You're being real right now, Brewers?

Are you trying to deceive me? Why would I ever deceive you, Brewers? Say you're being real right now." My kid's like, "Why is no one celebrating?" Uh, cause what the fuck, man? They're one game away. From the World Series, I'm Bart Winkler.

Welcome into the Winkler Verse. The link is up. You guys can join at any time. Andrew Wagner will join us at some point here tonight as well. I got to text him the link.

I see a lot of texts that are that I gotta, I gotta respond to. This is insane. I just got a text from a guy. Last three innings, scoring for the crew, three one one. Whoa!

Amber is the color of your energy. Sure, sure, sure, sure, sure, sure, sure, sure. Wow. Um. Oh my god.

I need to be Bernie Brewer for Halloween. Oh, that's a good one. I do need to be Bernie Brewer for Halloween. I've wanted to do that before. I was going to do that.

I was going to do that last year because my kid was going to be Churio, and then he did something else. Or we were going to do chicken banana, yeah. And then my banana looked like a penis, and he didn't want to wear the chicken.

So then I went as what I always have on standby is if I if I ever need a costume, I just I just be a leprechaun with the red beard, not red hair, not really any hair. But the red beard. All right, let's talk about this game if I can, as I've got FS1 on. I don't want to talk too much about FS1, but it's very clear that we should not be having Joe Davis is the Dodgers announcer. I don't even think he was awake or focused on the game when Churio hit that bomb.

Grafton Matt says we are the best team in baseball.

So cathartic to watch them show it.

So everyone can see. I just think it's funny. T fence says Joe Davis sounds like his mom died. I just think it's funny because it doesn't matter. The pregame predictions do not matter.

It's not worth getting mad over. Like things that we get mad over in sports all the time. Pregame predictions, um, power rankings. None of this shit matters. But it's just funny.

Because A Rod and Ortiz and Poppy, they all know they one of them should take the Brewers, but none of them can.

So, I am curious tomorrow if any of them take them. But you got it. Like I would say, no Dodgers. I have to get one. The Dodgers aren't going to be swept.

Maybe they are. Tom says FS1 spent most of the game trying to explain how the Dodgers can get back in the series. Last year, they were polishing the Dodgers knob when they were up three nothing. John says the Dodgers dugout was cleared out seconds after the game was over. They were out of here, and that's why we we were talking to this like just put this old dog to bed.

Just put this old dog out to pasture. Q is joining us. I welcome into the Winklerverse. Q, Q. I was gonna just let things ride tonight, but the look on Alex Rodriguez's face when he had to dap up Jake Bowers was like, "Ew, why do I have to touch this poor?" Like, who is this guy?

It's it's like hilarious that the FS1 crew. It's I don't know. It's it's like I know you don't want to talk about it, but it's hard not to talk about it. Yeah, I mean it's part of the experience that we're having. They're just so out of touch, and I I think um I I hope that the Brewers can win it all and then repeat next year.

But I think like. This panel is like the problem that baseballs had for the last couple decades.

So yeah, yeah, and this we talk about a lot with like the NFL versus MLB, where if the if the you know NFC championship or the Super Bowl, I'll say the Super Bowl, if it's Green Bay versus Cleveland, okay, the Super Bowl is Green Bay versus Cleveland, but if the Super if the World Series is Milwaukee versus Cleveland, it's It's where it's painted in a small market thing, and I don't know what they're thinking. The game one of this NLCS, ten million people watched. People are watching the Brewers. I don't think people want to watch the Dodgers anymore. They're not even a fun like, they're not even a fun hate watch.

I don't think I don't enjoy. Hey, I mean I don't. If they if they win if they come back and win we're gonna keep doing ifs but if they come back and win I'm not watching the World Series as I hate watch I'm just not watching the World Series everybody in the comments wants to know how you recovered from the other night ah you just don't stop you just keep going let's take the week off no no um yeah it was I mean I'm. I'm trying to.

So I have gone to Game Two of the last two series, including this one, and I'd really like to go to Game One of the World Series, but I'm debating if I got to keep the Game Two streak alive. Like I have no part in this, but yeah, I don't know. We'll see.

So because that the last time we talked was after Game Two, and. I was in. Did you watch it back? No, no.

So, so I, I texted. You were fine. You were fine. You were just a good loving, fun loving Q mood. Yeah.

Also, Big Ron. I forgot to say this. I meant to, but like, I like how Ron Big Ron is now just Ron when he calls into other shows. Like, I don't know if he lost weight or he just like didn't want to go by that name anymore. But when he calls into other shows, now it's just Ron in Jersey, and I think it's hilarious.

Well, he's got to go back to Big Ron. I know, but I don't know. Ever since he's been around, the Brewers are good in the playoffs.

So maybe it's a maybe it's a good thing. Cues here. I'm going to bring Austin in as well as Neil, as we are fired up. Game three goes the way of the Brewers, six to two. They start this one off with a Jackson Churia home run, and I mean they start this one off first pitch.

Um, that was wild. The Brewers then could not get a hit for shit. They got, I think they got one more hit off Snell, and they walked. They had a couple base runners on in the second. They struck out in this game twelve times again.

Snell had nine of them, but then Snell gave up back to back home runs to Bowers and to Mitchell in the seventh. In the seventh inning, Bowers. It looked like once he got into like, oh, this is gonna be a long Bowers at bat again. It looked like he was gonna get one. It just looked like he was gonna get one, and then I thought he got one, but that was the one that curve fouled and went into the into the stands.

And it's still, it just, it's there was something about the TV where it like looked like he, I don't know. And then he hit it, and then we're all celebrating, and then it just like with Churio's homer. If you weren't paying attention to this game, you missed that homer and you missed Mitchell's homer. Because Churio gets up there and Mitchell homers right away. Neil, your thoughts on this one?

Amazing. Before I share my thoughts, Q, I'm. I was so sad I dropped off after you joined or before you joined because you were. That was awesome. You're here after game two, so and then you guys started naming dudes like obscure brewers.

Man, I'm sad I dropped off for that. But we started naming dudes. Yeah, that was like a legacy Bucks pod. That was like dude, and you were you were still nailing like obscure guys, even though you were in rare form.

So I don't think I was. I think I was a casual observer at that point. Yeah, maybe. Yeah, I don't know. I didn't watch it back.

Yeah. So my thoughts on this one, I think after the last after game three, I said we should sit Cooper Pratt with the way he'd been playing defense. Scratch that, because the dude just continues to get on base.

So I'm an idiot on that front. My only criticism from this game is I thought Murph needed to pull. Erie, yeah, for the Otani at bat, like Eel Hall was ready, and then they were warming up Patrick. I did not understand not only leaving him in for the Otani at bat, but I think it was was Will Smith who hit the double. I didn't I didn't like that, but then I.

The guys, I had a feeling they were going to rally, like they were just going to come back and apply the pressure. You probably had a feeling because that's what they've been. That's what they do. Not only that, when I saw Bree, Cubs fan Bree was attending this game. I had never been more confident that they'd win.

So those are my thoughts.

Well, I love Bree. We know. I I actually do love Bree, and I want her on the show, and I'm going to try to make it happen. Because people are mad at Shane Gillis right now, be mad at me. This is the most misogynistic show on around.

When's the last time you saw a woman's face in here? I mean, Austin's long hair is doing it for me. Yeah, I was gonna say. Yeah, I'm about all you got, Bart. What'd you think, buddy?

Sometimes we see like Jake's wife from afar, right? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh yeah, and my mom was hitting on him. She was on the stream. Let's not forget about that.

Austin, your thoughts. Welcome. I do want to say, Q. It was glad to see somebody else in rare form for once. You know, not to be the only one.

Um, but uh, what I was gonna say, just I, I just go Brewers. But the the only thing that I had to really say about this game was that. When Shohei got plunked, right before he did, I said, "All right, all you got to do right now is hit Shohei in the ass," and they did. You think he did? Yeah, he didn't mean to do it, but why not?

No, I no, I you you hit him in the ass for the reason it's not gonna hurt. If you wanted to hurt the guy, you go for the ribs, and I think it was. I I thought it was intentional, and then it happened exactly the next pitch as soon as he came up.

So I don't I don't know, but it just seemed like the right play at the moment, and it turned out perfectly. How do you feel about you guys? Want to go six wide? Let's go. Who do we all got?

All right, we got Q. We got Neil. We got Austin. We are bringing in Cameron. And we are bringing in Jim in Chicago, so we are going six wide here on the Winkler verse.

Which is now a good time to tell you. Let me tell you guys this: I, I, I have a Winkler verse announcement. I have a Winkler verse announcement. This is episode number seven seven one. Then we need to go seven wide before this seven seven seven announcement.

Somebody else get in here. Let's not be too cute. But no matter what, it's gonna. We're gonna work it out so that episode seven seven seven. And I'm glad one of you just mentioned because I do feel like the early, the earliest stages of the Winkler verse.

Were like live bucks post games, right? Just live, sloppy, shitty, drunk post games. Wasn't it during COVID? Like post, it was like just after COVID, right? Yeah, it was twenty twenty two.

Yeah, we were still like yeah.

So episode seven seven seven will be broadcast from the. Tables at the Pato Sport Book after Bucks Wizards next Wednesday night. We will. I'm gonna go watch the game at Pato. If anyone else is there, that'd be sick.

If not, I'll just be on the computer. But Pato's been helping us count up to seven seven seven, and we're gonna we're gonna celebrate it there. Then. I will officially unveil the details of how you can watch with a guest, and me and Tim at the sports book with a five hundred dollar bar tab for the first Bucks Heat game. I believe on November eighteenth.

So we're going to have a little bitty of a contest.

So for you guys, and just to clarify, when you say next Wednesday, you mean the twenty first. The live broadcast is next Wednesday, the twenty first. I can't, I can't remember, Bart. Do you? This Wednesday.

Do you? Wednesday. It's cursing Wednesday. Do you play dice, Bart? I can't remember if you're a craps guy.

I know we went to pot together, but I can't remember if we played craps or you. Or not? I'll play video craps. No, let's shake some dice, man. I'll teach you how to play.

Okay, maybe. Let's get the gym, Jim. Your thoughts there in your basement. Yeah, unbelievable. You know, I'm loving the basement here.

I had to turn the sound off. You know, I looked up at the moment of I'm like, oh, Churio just hit a home run on the first pitch. That's freaking awesome. And then the announcers for the rest of that half inning talking about what a great pitcher Blake Snell is. And I had, I mean, it was like throw up in my mouth moment.

So I had to go in the basement and actually go without sound. Just because I, you know, which was fine, because all we need is the visuals here, right? And I mean, great game. I, you know, we're we're on the verge, guys. We're on the flipping verge here.

We're gonna do this this year. I mean, if I didn't want to be like, if if we don't, I mean, we're going. Hey, hey, can we? Should we go out and get the chairs on the sidewalk? Yeah.

Hold on, guys. Hold enough to remember Tom Green from MTV. It looks like Tom Green. Exactly, Tom Green. I don't like everybody making fun of the bags under Snell's eyes.

Considering I'm King Bag, guys. Hold on, and Cameron, I'll get to you. But hold on, we are going. Did we ever go eight wide? We've gone eight wide.

All right, we got Joe in Des Moines. Joe, nice hat, Joe. I had to bring it in, man. And I didn't like the flack you were getting for it the other night. Thank you.

It's a sick hat. And returning to the Winkler verse. God, when's it been? When's it been? It's been a while.

It's been a long time.

Well, we're excited for you, but now I got somebody else I'm excited for also. No, sorry. It's okay.

Well, but it's Matt in the Falls, ladies and gentlemen. Yes, that's what I was hoping for. It's our year! Woo! M.I.F.

Let's go! Good to see you, buddy. Storybook. Every single game, we are coming back. We're hitting home runs.

They said we couldn't. We're pitching. I can't even. That like, if you don't believe we're going to win the World Series, you're nuts. Oh, we've already won it in my eyes.

Yeah, it's just a matter of which game am I going to go to? Yeah, and where? You know, what night is it going to be? Exactly. Where's the Where's the parade going to be?

Better be on Sunday. Really? Do I hold out for a clinching game? I got. I think I got to hold out for the clinching game.

Might be double the price, but whatever.

Well, is the clinching game going to be in Cleveland? Is it going to be in Tampa Bay? I like Tampa Bay. I was just there.

Okay, I'll go with you. I think it's two brewers and six. Brewers and six.

So, update. They're going to sweep the Dodgers and then take the Guardians to six. The team formerly known as the Indians. Yeah. Well, well, I, I will even, I will even.

Put my lib card away for a week. I will call them the Indians. Yeah, if we go to the World Series, just because of the major league implications. Yeah, the Uker game to be the Uker. Oh my God, I didn't even think of.

Oh man, that's right. Just I was looking at pricing during this game, and it's it's like fifteen hundred for standing room only, and that was in like the six of the seven.

So it's probably closer to two grand now. Would be my guess. And then lower level, you were lucky to get in for. Like two and a half, three grand for one seat, including fees. But that's so much money.

So I'll see you guys all on the sidewalk when the roof panels are open. We'll all hang out there, a couple coolers of beer. Yeah, we gotta. I'm gonna buy like a crane, and like park it, or like I'm gonna have the crane break down on the highway, climb the ladder of the crane, and look in through the panels. Rent a couple scissors lifts.

I'm climbing the the cow. I'm gonna watch the game through the wall on top of the cow. Yeah, I mean, why are these prices so? What was that? MLB is charging a grand.

It's not even resale yet. Yeah. Also, I'm pretty sure single game World Series tickets go on sale tomorrow.

So what you're seeing now is like season ticket holders that have early access posting them.

So there should be more tickets at 2 p.m. Central tomorrow. 10 a.m. for Wisconsin residents. Yes, 10 a.m.

for Wisconsin residents. Is that true? Yes. Yeah, we're doing it again. I don't know why.

I think it must just be in their system or whatever. But now Cubs fans are like, "Hey, piss off! We're a game away from the World Series." We'll try to get in on this unless you're Bree. Unless you are Bree, Cameron. You haven't said your thoughts yet.

What do you got? Um, clutch hitting. Just. Clutch hitting every time we've gone down by a run to two runs, it always, it's it's in the back like we're gonna we're gonna we're just gonna get back in this game whether it's a couple walks and a bunt or a clutch home run. It's been the theme this entire series outside of the bullpen.

We've consistently came back being down to to take a lead or tie it. Essentially, every outside of like Game Three of the DS, we've essentially have done that, and it it just shows like the heart and like the great and the storybook kind of like fairy tale of this series, and it's it's so much fun to watch. Just the fact that they never give up, that they keep going for it, that they keep fighting, that you can go down. Absolutely, I mean, even like Muncie.

So thank God that didn't get out. First of all. The one that hit the wall, but even even if we're down four one, it's like okay, we got a few innings left. You know, maybe they went to I don't know. The game could have gone differently, but they were down again, and then they they came back.

And Robert Gassner, I haven't even said his name yet. Bobby Diesel.

Well, I haven't really gotten into any of the breakdown. This is this is more of a feelings show than a than a breakdown show. It was more of a feelings show. Joe, what are your feelings? I'm feeling really good, so I went and picked up some food during the second inning and sat next to two Dodgers fans, and I kind of felt it out because Des Moines is pretty heavy Cubs territory, but yeah, I felt pretty good.

The last three weeks, I have met so many Brewers fans here in town, and it's been just absolutely wonderful.

So, but I sat down next to those guys. And they were just kind of grumbling. Torio had already hit his home run, and we were up one zero, and so they were kind of like talking shit about our pitching. But I was like, I just let it go. We're up two zero.

Now we're up three zero. It's great. We're up three zero, guys. We're three zero, one away from the series. Five, five more.

You gonna feel it? Five from it all. Yes, man. Five more. Five from the whole fucking.

I feel like. It doesn't matter what the score is in the fifth inning, because six, seven, eight, nine, we're gonna score runs. We're gonna come back. Like, I don't care at all what the score is. I don't care how good the pitcher is.

Like, as soon as the starter comes out, it's our time. Hey, Ryan Reynolds here from Mint Mobile.

Runs scored fifth inning or later was one in game one, and then four in game two, and then four today. And to get the Snell specifically was great. He had some weird comments about how the Brewers have never faced adversity before. That I do want to pull up here. I I have them.

Which bar?

Well, you pull those up. You got you got to give them credit for saying that kind of stuff. You you know you got to give your guys on your own team a little bit of that. Be like, hey, these guys don't know what they're doing. Let's go, let's go shell them.

Let's go wax them. Whatever it is.

Well, let's see. Here's you got to say that kind of stuff. Here's what Blake Snell said. I think this was. Yesterday, right?

Yesterday or today? Nice. He pitched really good today. Oh yeah, wouldn't have been today. He was a starter.

Here's yesterday. Don't think about last year because it has nothing to do with this year. And it's a completely different team. Just from you know experience, growth, mindset, discipline, where they're at. Even the way that Pat Mur like way Pat's talking is way different than how he's talking last year.

Watch all their interviews. I notice how they talk. A lot of one-on-one competition is like a key for them, and even the way that Pat talks and how he talks to the team is way different than last year.

So I understand that, and yeah, I mean your goal is to you know how do you how do you you know how do you counter that. And how do how do you get them into a place you know a different place? I think they're in a good spot now, especially being up two zero. But you know, adversity hits and thoughts start racing. All right, so the the whole I need I need to go at that one.

That is so classic manipulation. Go on, start that from the beginning. You know, he comes from a place of experience. He's saying that we don't have we. I don't play on the team.

That the Brewers don't have. This is a we show. A we show, bro. Come on, let us into it. Go back.

Go back. Replay that one more time. Just listen to this first first bit of it. No, I already closed it. You want to tell me?

Well, I heard it doesn't produce for you anymore. I I got a take because when I saw that, I watched it. There was a bunch of comments of Brewers fans taking it as a slight. When I watched it with his body language, he seemed intimidated. Like I don't think he believed what he was saying.

I think he was put off by. How confident and scrappy the Brewers are playing, and I don't think he believed the bullshit he was selling. And how our team, like the average age of our team, is like two thirds of theirs. Like we're we're not going anywhere, and these guys are going to be on the hook for salaries that they're underperforming for a long time. It's pretty cool.

Well, now if you're the Dodgers, and this is what we talked about on, if you're the Dodgers. You're down three zero now. You won the World Series the last two years. You're not not going to try. But I mean, if you go down, it's like, what are we doing?

Do I want to get back on a plane and stay at haunted Fister and shitty Milwaukee, which doesn't even deserve to be on a map? Do I want to win the next game too to even do that? Yeah, it's two, three, two now. Do I want to just? Do I want to go home and make love to my model girlfriend and then cheat on her with my model wife or whatever?

I don't know. I, I guys, I want to win tomorrow, like it, because otherwise they they flip their starting pitching order again. Um and like we gotta put our foot on the neck tomorrow, and we don't even know who's pitching. Is it gonna be a Mayday? I think that's why they didn't throw Ashby.

Maybe he's the opener. Could be an opener. We still have not seen Drone, Harrison, or Patrick at all in the playoffs. How about Hall today? Hall was that was fucking.

Oh, I mean, that was freaking ballsy.

Sorry if I just if I broke the the. No, no, I the YouTube I think was about I was talking about um, like other shit. How about we all just tip our a few fucking bucks? All right. No, you don't have to.

But I got I got to give a shout out to G Dog Money. We are one fucking game away. Let's fucking go. He's also a new member of the donation club. Yeah, I think I joined that.

I didn't realize that was a thing until a couple days ago. It. I set it at three ninety nine, but it's based on like where you're at.

So some people got in for like two bucks, and one guy's paying eight. Just cancel. I don't. I mean, you don't have to pay me, but if you want to. Al says, "I've never been so groined up in my whole life." So, yeah, dude, I am so groined up as well.

My groin is tickling. We need groined up shirts, by the way. Thought about that tonight. Print them definitely. This is a wee show.

Would be a good shirt. Tim cut it in post. Would be a good shirt. Also, tomorrow night. After we win, I want Paul and Grant on here live.

Like we, it hasn't happened yet. Where you guys do a live? Like it's not even. It's just a fuck yeah podcast. But try and get them on here live after we clinch, please.

If we clinch, when this is a when show. This is a when show. Mister, set out the chairs.

So we win. Maybe I should have set out the chairs. I mean, they're gonna win. What the what the fuck? Where's the where do the chairs go?

Is it West Alice? Like we've never done this. We have no idea where the bridge. We said it's got to be Blue Mountain. It's got to be Blue Mountain.

Where did they do that parade in eighty two when they came home when we lost? That's what we can't. Wisconsin Avenue. Yeah, right by the old Grand Avenue Mall. Yeah, it's probably gonna be around there.

Should we nine box it with Andrew Wagner? You know where it's got to end is at the new Euchre. I can get a tenth in here if one more person wants to join. Let's do it. There you go.

This would be great. Wags, how are you? You liked it, Wags? Look at all of us white men talking. This would be a great party if there were more food and less less people.

There's a lot of sausage. Everyone, show your wings on the count of three. Don't break that. You're gonna have to go widescreen. Oh yeah.

Oh boy. I'm gonna drop after that one. See you guys. Yeah. Go Brewers.

They wouldn't even have a problem with the monetization. They wouldn't have. They wouldn't have even noticed on many of us, me included. Uh oh.

Now we're getting Jake after Q just dropped after. Yeah, Q was begging for the ten, and then we get a we get a ten. Hey. Hey, sorry to wake you, Jake. We're only one game away from the fucking World Series.

Well, that's why I had to call, man. This is just getting dark. Ben, yeah, hold on. Load, load, load. Where is the old lady?

Where's Ben? Oh, it's like a pandemic conference call. Is HTJ wearing pants at least? Let me um. Yeah, ten bucks.

Now we're ten. Anyone here? Brewers, Brewers, Brewers. Decca time. First ever ten bucks.

Decca Winkler. Wagner, you got any thoughts?

Okay. There we go. He doesn't give a shit. Nah, he don't. Wait, someone say my name?

Said Wags. Oh, Wags.

Okay. First ever ten box. Damn thing. Oh, you guys can't hear. You guys are part of history.

Not gonna lie. This is a motley crew right here. Sure is. Ah, this is like um, we're too short. We're still on the eleven box.

Hey, everyone, just talk at the same time. Raise your hand if you can hear.

Some people are having hearing problems. All right, Wagner.

Something with Wagner. Don't take him out. I'm actually I'm caressing Austin right now. Ben, Ben, give me your thoughts, Ben. I think this is a new sports high for me and.

That's crazy because we've won championships as a state, and this one is just special because it is the Dodgers, and it's David Goliath. It just feels it feels better. Like the good guys are winning right now. They don't really seem to be putting up a fight. I mean, and now I don't want to like discredit the Brewers.

They're pitching great, but you tell anybody, okay, you're going back to Game Three. One team's got three home runs, the other's got zero. I mean, last year Shohei Ohtani had three home runs alone in a game against us, and we're outsmashing them. We're doing we're doing everything better. Gasser was great tonight.

Even Snell, once he settled down, and was great. He gave up those two home runs. I got another stat. This is from Jake Mints. Bowers Mitchell.

What? The one in the chat. What? No. No.

No. Let me show you the stat though. Oh, let's show let's show you the stat. Ten, not ten bucks or nine bucks on the side with the stat. I don't know what any of you guys are saying.

Do I? While you look there, I'm just waiting my turn. Ninety-nine. Thanks, Jackie. There's a good one.

While you look that up, are you taking back the take of never seeing the Brewers in a World Series? But I believe the take was you'll never see the Brewers win a World Series.

Now, my question is: Are you taking that back? How much are you believing?

Well, I think they're going to win the World Series now. I just I could never visualize them actually doing it. Yeah, I thought it was you couldn't accept that that was even a possibility. It wasn't that you rejected it. Yeah, right.

Right. It wasn't about them getting there. It was about them winning it. Wagner, you hear us? I can hear you.

Oh yeah. Um, what do you think? We're all excited. Are you gonna at least pretend to be excited? I mean, you know me.

I'm the I'm the shit in the Cheerios guy. Like I I'm shocked. I am absolutely shocked that tonight went the way that it did. I'm not shocked by Cheerios lead off home run. Like honestly, that that was the least surprising aspect of that game for me.

Like you know that you know that Snell's first pitch of the game is gonna be. A fastball right at the balls, and you're ambushing that pitch.

So, like, not shocked by that at all. Everything else that happened, absolutely shocked. I mean, when the Dodgers took the lead, I thought, okay, this is when they they start fighting back. It. I didn't expect the Brewers.

I I figured the Brewers would respond, but not in the way that they did. Like, I thought for sure this was chalk this one up for the Dodgers, kind of like the Padres series. Yeah, get smacked in the row in the two games. You come back home. You've got that juice in you, okay, and you stand your ground.

And then it, whatever happens, I'm, I'm shocked. Like I'm absolutely shocked. But as exciting as it is to be up three zero, we know, and this is true in every sport, the hardest game to win is the clinch game. We saw that with the Padres. The Dodgers are going to come out there fighting for their lives.

And listen, if there's any team that can dig out of a zero three hole. It's that Dodgers lineup. Not saying it's going to happen, but it's great to be excited. It's great to be up three zero. Ben, how dare you not share?

I thought that's what he was doing off camera. I'm like, is he rolling right now? No, I've done that on the podcast before, and I thought Bart was going to kill me. But tomorrow's going to be tough. I mean, no, this is a drug show.

This is a drug show. Yeah. It was impressive though. I did not. What's wrong with rolling your own cigarettes?

I don't understand. You're good. Christopher says you fucking clowns are already crowning them. Are going to regret it? There's a world where the Dodgers come back and we're all sad and we blow a three-run lead.

Sure, but why are we living that life right now? That's a little dick energy right there, Christopher. Dodgers fan trolling a Brewers stream right now. Drew B is not a Dodgers fan. He's a big Brewers fan.

That's what the B stands for. What do you think, Drew? Um, what a what a game! I was um, 1994 era Dion Sanders high stepping around the kitchen with my dad, and I missed the Mitchell home run. It happened so quickly.

I was like, "What the fuck?" Oh, that's the thing to show you guys. These are all the left-handed batters. That have ever hit a home run off of Blake Snell, and this was the first time that two have ever gone back to back against him.

So that's never happened before. Here is the list: you see, Bowers and Mitchell, Varsho got him last year. I think was that a first pitcher too? I think that was first pitcher of the game too. Yeah.

Oh, oh, count. But this is the first time it's ever happened. This is a long career going back to 18.

So, first time ever back to back, and he was, he was, he was kicking our ass, man. He was dominating us pretty good. There he is. That looks like Ben. Give Ben up there.

He was dominating us pretty good, and then we were able to get to him again. Another Jake Bowers at bat. This guy has just been. Incredible.

So we were talking about series MVP. Yeah, it's Bowers right now. Yeah, that's the best at bat I've ever seen. Two phenomenal at bats this series. I would say it's um, it's not like the it's not the finals like the Valley OOP was, but I feel like that Bowers at bat and the home runs, the Brewers version of the Valley OOP, where like once that happened, like oh, we're fucking winning this.

There's nothing stopping us. Yeah, I like that's a good comparison, or like the Tremont interception back there. You know, because God forbid I do any show without any Packer reference.

So there you go. I think you're required to do that by law in this godforsaken state. Hey Bart, can I talk to you about Sammy Sosa? Because you talked about how you don't like when people don't—they pretend they don't know English. Yeah.

From I used to work at the visitors' clubhouse from 2005 to 2008. He knows a lot of English, particularly a lot of homophobic slurs.

So I can confirm that. Ah, okay. Yeah, that's good. You want to? Like, I don't know any.

What are they? All right, here we go. You guys ready? I got my list. All right, fine.

Who else wants to throw their weight around here? Anybody jumping in? Oh, Cameron, I'll say something so that I can dip out. I while commercial break was going on, I saw a little a little tidbit that linked William Contreras and Gasser to the J.J. Hardy trade in 2009.

So you snake it all the way back to J.J. Hardy.

So thanks J.J. Hardy for the trade. One thanks for the Josh. Speaking of homeopathy, thanks to J.J. Hardy in the league.

That when he got sent down to the minor leagues, they started pulling in motion. Like had he not been pissed off, and I kind of see where he's coming from, but he stunk ass. Through a hissy fit and like, all right, well, we got to Escobar coming. We can ship this dude out, and it's funny because people were pissed and people hated Gomez for those first couple years. Yeah, Wagner, you were there with the whole hater trade fallout.

Thanks, Cameron. See you guys. And Devin Williams crying and all that stuff. But this is, you know, Gasser was a part of that. But this was also like, this was why they made the trade.

And if we're going to be this franchise that keeps trying to compete, but also look forward to the future, it'd be nice if the future, like one day, showed up. It appears that maybe I mean that's nine that's twenty seven hours away from happening now. Yeah, I mean that's that's pretty much it. I mean it's it's justification for for doing what they've done. You know, I've listened.

To the national media, I've listened to the fans themselves, the self-proclaimed diehards, bitch and moan about the way that the Brewers do it. And the thing that I hear the most: well, they got to extend Tereng and they got to extend Contreras. They don't, and they're not going to do because they've got dudes waiting in the wings that they believe can take those spots and compete at just as good, if not a higher level.

So it's a testament to. I hate to go back to the NBA and what's his name was it Sam Hinkie? Trust the process, but yeah, the process is paying off. Again, there's still a long way to go, but it's worked so far. I would like to try out a new take.

This is not my take, but I'm just I'm just a little open mic night here. If the Brewers win the World Series. I say, bring on the lockout! I say, never play baseball again. Let us be the final champion, like like Ezekiel Jackson held the final ECW belt.

Jake knows series that broke baseball. Yeah, and then as long as the lockout goes, it's just well, you want to watch baseball? Go watch last year's World Series when the Milwaukee Brewers won. We can be the reigning champs forever.

So, what do we think about that take? Anybody like it? Fair. It's got the Brewers. We win the World Series.

I love it. We win the World Series. I'm good, man. Yeah, I never need to go to a game again. I'm I'm fucking good.

I think I'm good. Like I might just opt out of everything if the Brewers win the World Series. Like we got our Super Bowl. Not let AI take me. We got our NBA Finals.

Yeah. We get. We get our. We beat the Bears. We beat the Bears.

Yeah, we we did Tyson Bagent. That was our that was our Super Bowl. I mean, that that that was our Super Bowl for sure. Tom with a 999er says, "Growing up with the late 90s, early 2000 Brewers, I can't believe we may actually do it while slaying the evil empire. Still have a hill to climb, but the belief is getting real.

Even watching the game with my seven-year-old and anybody has kids, it's like." Fuck you! Almost, you know. It's like, like they didn't. They didn't make the playoffs until I was twenty-four. They didn't make.

I waited. I waited a quarter of a century to see them lose to the Phillies in four, and that was the greatest day of my life. That that game three, Saturday night game, I remember. It was Dodgers two Cubs zero. Also that night, because I was chanting that out of the ballpark, just bombed, you know.

Before I went to like RCs or whatever the fuck was open at the time, it was just like insane how that was the pinnacle. And then looking back, I mean, we still got so much to go just to see like the World Series paint. On our field would be everything. I will tell you one more thing, though, as we start to look at these ticket prices, and they're in like the you know thousand range. I don't want to go to a World Series game and then they go down like five nothing in the third inning.

Like that would not be cool at all.

So I don't know yet. I I don't know. I'll say, as far as like, because Bart, you and I are similar age, and before like '08 and this this current like great run, my greatest Brewers memory was in seventh grade when my father took me out of school to go to an afternoon game at County Stadium, and we saw Eric Plunk pick off Craig Bixue at first base, and I was like the greatest shit ever, and that's that was like the high point as a Brewers fan for me until 2008.

So. This is pretty remarkable. Yeah, I mean it is unbelievable for sure. And we keep talking to like we're all roughly in the same. I gotta get I gotta get like an old fuck on this show.

I gotta I gotta I gotta talk to frames or something. No, you're not that old. You're you're on the raw. You're on the right side of fifty yet at least. Legs momentarily.

I do want to mention one thing. One thing about the game tonight that I did love was that the Dodgers took the lead.

So the Dodgers they get the momentum and they got to be feeling good, like finally we can finally you know put these guys away. Go Brewers! It's not just the fact that the Brewers won, and I did call in the last post game show that they are going to sweep the Dodgers, but I think. Allowing the Dodgers to get that emotional high and then just immediately take it away, I think they're they're going to come out and maybe I look stupid. I think the Brewers win like eight to one in Game Four.

Like I think they just they they've done it. They've taken their souls tomorrow. I don't know any of that yet. I don't know if they've said that. Oh, it's probably glass now, right?

Glass now. That would be my guess, unless they like put somebody on short rest. But you can if you have to win four. All right, they have announced Glass now for sure.

Okay, so what are we doing?

Someone floated out Ashby before as an opener, maybe open game. Both. I mean, Derek Mays. Derek Mays. Anyone but Dustin May or Dustin May.

Why do I keep calling him Derek May every single time? Because of Green Bay Packers legend Derek Mays. Yeah, Derek Mays too. That's a good one. All I can think about is the 2004 27 million dollar payroll.

I've thought about this. I remember in two thousand five on Fox Sports Sports North the countdown to five hundred because I had never seen a non losing Brewers team. I watched on Pins and Nails like until that happened, and that was a pinnacle of my Brewers fandom as a kid. Like, and okay, we got five in here. I got Neil, hot take, Jake, Drew, Andrew Wagner, and Craig Thompson.

Is in the house. We had Matt in the falls earlier. We had Q. A lot of the favorites coming through. Joe was in here earlier.

Cameron.

So we've got Craig now. But the thing I want to say is, like, even when they made Mister Three Thousand, you make any other movie, it's like, let's get to the ALCS, let's get to the World Series. That whole movie was about taking third place in the Central. And it was like realistic. Wasn't that like semi pro?

They were like that was their rallying cry. Was like seventh place, and we're in. I don't like semi pro. That's a good. Come on, love me sexy, suck me sexy.

I don't really. I don't really like. I'm not even sure I really like Taylor Diga Nights. All right, here's the hot takes coming from Bart tonight, not me. Craig, here's the attention I know I hate.

I hate kicking and screaming. Oh come on, Craig, your thoughts? I was 11 years old when they were in the series, so I just wanted somebody older. I know, and I was gonna say I'll be your I'll be your old fuck.

So ask away, but I was 11 years old when they went to this series, and I thought, "Huh, that was probably the greatest." It was the worst. Just remember, all I remember is Oil Cam Boyd from St. Louis is coming and just embarrassing us. He would come out in like the sixth, seventh inning. He was like the the Ashby of for the St.

Louis Cardinals at the time, and he would just shut us down. And I mean, we were up. We should have won that series, but if it wasn't for injuries, we were we were up three to what was it, three games to two, and they came back. Yeah, I like to say they blew a three two lead. Everyone forgets that part about the eighty two Brewers, Craig.

So I'm thinking back when I I was twelve. When the Packers won the World or the Super Bowl, and I don't know how to compare like that to the next Super Bowl because when you're a kid, everything is larger than life, especially that '96 team. And I I know that Packers was prevalent like at school and stuff, but I don't I don't know like out in the community and all that kind of stuff. Is there a similarity at all between your feelings then and how this is now, or is it not? But yeah, I mean, I do remember.

Like, I remember they they set up. I was what was I eleven, so I was like fifth grade. They put TVs in the in that in the room in the afternoon because there was a day game.

So yeah, we got to watch a few innings before we had to get on the bus to go home. And you know, like what it is now is that it's just like. It's just fun to be able to watch my baseball team and watch them play really good baseball, and and just be like content with it, you know. I mean, I was I was very scared to come on because I don't want to jinx it by making a sound. We've already jinxed the shit out of this, dude.

You know, I'm hiring an. I just I really truly feel I really truly feel that tonight we just ripped out their their hope. I really do. I think. I I think when they got up two to one, I think they thought there was a spark over there, and we came and we just stirred or we just curb stomped them, and that was it.

And I really think them leaving like they did after the game, they're setting up their they're setting up their vacation plans this tonight. You know, it's very it is very similar to the Chiefs. Hey, that's what I'm doing right now. I'm in Florida right now. And Bart, you don't recognize the room?

Are you in Disney? No, I mean, certain someone lives there. My mom's. You're having sex with my mom? No, but actually, so my wife is in the shower right now, and like, can I tell you, it is not easy to get things moving when you got Mickey Mouse staring at you back there.

Go in the shower. Get out of here. Get take a shower. Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna go see what's going on. All right, I love you guys.

Go Brewers. Sorry, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Wait.

Okay. Yeah. You want me to?

Okay. I'll bring you in there. Hold on.

Okay. No. Next time. All right. That's if they win the World Series.

Then we'll do like Edge and Lita. Then we get live on the air. All right. Congrats on the sex. Yeah.

Jake Wagner, are you gonna say something? Not, I I don't remember after that. I was just waiting to see the shower. I'll uh I'll follow up Jake's point. Not about not about Mickey Mouse, but if they they jump on Glassnow early tomorrow and put up like two or three runs in the first inning, it's gonna be curtains on that on that team.

Who even knows how many Dodger fans will be at the game tomorrow? There is, like you said on an earlier podcast this week, with like the Wisconsin UCLA game, there is a lot of Brewer fans there, which is awesome to see. The last thing I'll say before I dip out is one thing I really love about this team is obviously like Pat Murphy, whatever he's told Terang and Bowers after their Putrid DS, they've been amazing this series. Just like a complete turnaround, and. They they're just a team that's unified that always picks each other up.

Uribe had his worst outing of the postseason, but they pick him up and meet. Dia Hall picks him up. The offense scores the next inning, picks him up, and you know I think that is really like the secret sauce to why I think they're gonna win it all. It's like they they're never deterred. They pick each other up.

They're like truly like. This it's like a summer, a passion summer. Like put it in there. Like I'm just really excited to see if this team turns out to be. It's been really exciting.

I can't get my words straight that we're one win away from the World Series.

Well, and I hope we were one win away for like another 24 hours, and not into Friday, and then into Sunday, and then and into Monday, and then. But but the thing about that is. We went up one, nothing.

So we probably came into those first two games against the Dodgers thinking, let's just split. And then we won. And then we're thinking, all right, well, we got it. Like it would be great if we could win game. We won game two, and it's like, all right, we just went to San Diego.

We know that game three crowd. And then Dodgers. And then we now we're up three zero. It's like we're we're trying to be rational. We we're we're all in the back of our I think.

I think the majority of people are like me and like us because you guys have expressed the same. Like, I feel I do feel like we've already won, and it's just a matter of doing. I that's how I feel, Eigner. I know, but that's how I feel. That's how I feel.

I felt that way after San Diego. Yeah. And I can't admit that out loud. And I know it might come crashing down. And we're still cognizant.

We're not like we're not like we won. We we still know, but also, this is this is what is happening has never happened before. Three zero in an LCS, and for many of us, I mean, Craig, yeah, but Craig, Craig was eleven, you know. I, I'm gonna guess this is all a. None of us had pubes before when the.

I don't know what happened. I was 12 when I got my first bulky bad. I'm back. Good night, y'all. Good careers.

See you soon, Ron. When did you get your first pubic? Big Ron. Probably age twelve, same as you, Bart. Twelve's a good age.

Yeah. So I was bald, and when I was age nine in nineteen eighty-two, when I watched Cecil Cooper say, "Get down, baby, get down." Yep. And how do you feel tonight?

Well, man, screw Satan, soldiers, screw the evil empire. If they had souls, we just ripped them out, and we ripped their hearts right out of their chests and crushed them with a vengeance for last year, man. Craig, I'm out. The dog is getting under my skin, so. Yeah, go take them out.

Go Brewers. Hopefully tomorrow, hopefully tomorrow night we're here celebrating. May be crazy, but it's a chance. We'll talk to you guys later. See you, Craig.

If it does happen tomorrow, I gotta get out some. I can't just be in my basement. I mean, where do I go? Do I go down to that watch party? Kelly's bleachers?

Are they selling tickets? Yeah, maybe I go down to Kelly's. I got. I got to go somewhere. I'll be standing on the side of the home bridge, Bart.

Home bridge. Because back in when the Bucks won, I was down there for the Hawks game six of the Hawks. Right, game six, and it was crazy, dude. It was just like that. We were going to the but the after the finals, obviously, is a big deal.

But even. Getting there, there was people driving like these three wheelers, and fireworks were just one almost like flew by my face on water. I mean, I just want to be where I want to be tomorrow is a place that's normally like safe, but might get dangerous. Like I won't die, but a stabbing could occur. I want to be somewhere risky.

That's where I want to be. Anywhere in Milwaukee. Go to Water Street. Wolfski is. Yeah, Water Street is like the fucking demilitarization zone from the Koreas right now.

It's like the DMZ. Fences everywhere. Ron, what else you got?

So I just booked my flights. I'm coming in for game two, man. The the the ticket prices are out of control. It's like fifteen hundred for standing room only. It's twenty one hundred for the cheapest bleacher ticket.

If you can believe that, um, it's out of control. Um, but I don't give a care. I don't give a crap. And well, because everyone, everyone, forever. And now we've had a few years of this, where it's like, if they go to the World Series, I'm going, and then obviously we don't.

And now people are like, "Well, I have to go," and we also just assume like it's never going to happen again.

So you got, you can't. Oh, I'll go to the next one.

Okay, good luck. Yeah, I might. I mean, I. I might just go down to Tampa for two game. This is going to be too hard to get tickets here.

If we can go down to Tampa on a four hundred dollar flight, get two tickets. Yeah, it's probably cheaper to go to Tampa if they win. You know, Cleveland is a pretty good sports town. I don't think you're going to get Cleveland will fill it up. Yeah, but but Tampa's not, or you know, if you wanted to fly into Dodgers tomorrow, like there's going to be plenty of seats available for cheap.

You know, if you want to watch them clinch, which I think they will. You know, have you been to LA a bunch, Wagner? I have. What's the deal? Why is it still?

It's the NLCS. It's empty seats in the fourth inning. It's a pain in the ass to get there, especially at five o'clock in the afternoon. Um, there's a billion other things to do. The Dodgers get screwed on on times.

I mean, five o'clock, playing. You know, just outside of downtown. People coming from Orange County—that's like a two-hour drive, man. It's just impossible to get to in the middle of the day. Yeah, I couldn't even imagine if like.

Even when there's traffic, it's all right. I'll just take Canal Street.

So the last in the 2018 NLCS, I stayed with my friend out in Anaheim Hills, which is in Orange County, about 30 35 miles away, and like driving to the ballpark. And again, we get there way earlier for everything. I mean, it took me two two and a half hours to get there. And that was like, you know, eleven o'clock in the morning, noon, one in the afternoon. Like it's, it's a bitch to get to.

So do we do we give them a break for not filling up the stadium? I don't give a shit who goes to games and who doesn't. That's yeah. That's such a so bar. Can we swear now?

Is that is that like okay? Is that fucking wrong? Go ahead. All right. Fuck John Smoltz.

Fuck Fox. Fuck. I don't mind Smoltz. Smoltz is fine, man. I don't like Joe Davis.

Yeah. Fuck them. They were all. Yeah. Joe Davis was trying to fucking jinx the Brewers.

Like Abner Rebey hasn't given up a run in four months. He that's he sounded he sounded catatonic. Yeah. John Smoltz went radio silent after Joe Bowers hit that home run. He didn't talk for like a half inning.

I swear he didn't talk. The play-by-play guy had to carry the broadcast. Man, he might have been in the cam, like it is known to happen. Yeah, you cover me. It's a home run.

I gotta go. Yeah, I've seen it. I've seen. I've seen. I've seen the radio and TV guys go sprinting down the back back hallway of the press box in the middle of like an inning, and you know that the pregame spread just came a calling.

I I was in the bathroom once when Rock was in there, and he did not sprint. He was taking his time. He was just, I'm in the bathroom. I'm gonna pee. I'll get back when I get back.

Got to go. You got to go. But like nine times out of ten, those extended silences—that means they're taking shit. Yeah, big, big fat, big fat dookie in the press box. I got two comments, and then I got a dip.

Yeah, Craig and Drew said something earlier that I just had two thoughts on. Craig said, "I'll be your old fuck." And that reminded me of a thought I had watching Bob Gas pitch. We gassed him up a little bit earlier, but I want to. Call out his little trot that he had back to the dugout after he had a good or a clean inning. It reminded me of Val Kilmer's Doc Holliday in Tombstone, like his little mustache and little trot off.

Like I'll be your Huckleberry. Yeah, that's what I was thinking of. And then no, his confidence, just like yeah. Just stones out there, yeah. Which I really like because doesn't it always feel like there is some rookie pitcher or some young guy that we don't know that just slices through us exactly?

And now we've got a guy like that, yeah. And then the second thought I had was Joey Ortiz has clearly struggled in the postseason so far. I hope that single he had to knock in the run at the end of the game gets him going because he was one of the best players in baseball second half of the season. I think he's going to be critical for us getting it done the rest of the way. I really want to see him build off of that.

Well, even defensively, him and Pratt have been well. Pratt's, you know, struggling, and then has a nice play. But Joey, some of those picks in the later innings, I don't know how you do it. I don't know how. I do not understand like how you can physically time and throw and reach, and it just seems for me third to first is so far away.

I I don't know how these people do it. It's incredible. Otherwise, I gotta go. Go, Neil. Take it easy, Brewers.

Big Ron, Andrew, what else you got, Ron? What else I got, man? Screw Satan, soldiers. I already mentioned that. You know, I mean, this just has the same feel as.

As the Bucks 2021, the Packers 2010. This is just a team of destiny, you know, and it's going to happen. We're just the better team. We're the better team. The whole Dodgers are in a club-wide slump.

Shohei Ohtani, their best player, is like a black hole in the lineup. I mean, you get pissed off when we hit him in the hamstring or whatever—not the hamstring, but the whatever. I thought for sure he was going to hit a homer today. You did? Yeah.

With all this talk about him, I didn't hear. Yep. I thought. Yeah. You guys are the eternal pessimists, man.

Bobby Diesel.

Shouts out to him. Shouts out to D. L. Hall. Cooper Pratt had three hits.

Who? Cooper did. Yeah. Yeah. The guy's hitting over three hundred in the in the postseason, man.

Um, and I'm telling you that DL Hall came in and bailed Abner Rebey out of what was it? Bases loaded, you know, and he just came in there. He was dropping that twelve six curveball, man. Like there was nothing. Like it was nothing.

That lefty twelve six curveball, man. The amount of popouts we got to the outfield. Yeah, and I didn't feel like any of them were gone either. I didn't, you know, if this was rigged. Once that marine layer sets in, you gotta you gotta blast one to get it out of there.

Yeah, it was just they were all dying, and then there were even some great catches made. There were a few times that it didn't seem like they knew who was gonna catch it. The one time with Churio and Mitchell. I like screamed at the TV like they could hear me, like I was like, guys, come on! Like I'm like they were my seven year olds coaching them.

I think I needed to buy some adult diapers when Cheerio lost that ball in the outfield in the second or third inning. Yeah, Blake Snell. We just what is this from? I don't know what is this from. Um, I, I, I don't know.

Someone posted it on my Twitter account, so it's going around. It's viral. I don't know what that. I saw fifty different people post this. We ripped his soul out, man.

We ripped his and John Smoltz soul out with one Blake or Jake the Rake Bowers. Eleven pitch at bat tonight, man. G Dog Money says Ron represents all of us committed drunk fans. Hey, yeah, man. Vodka Fresca.

This is Vodka Fresca. I'm gonna wash it down for you. That's a triple. All right. Let's go, man.

Let's go. God, I see watching porn for me. The forbidden fruit.

Well, Bart, you are you on the wagon now? Yeah. Are you off the alcohol, Bart? Are you off the sauce? I'm on the happy place, man.

Promo code Bart, twenty five percent off. All right. Talk to Andrew. Give me one minute, man. I gotta take a leak.

Oh, we're gonna wrap up soon, but yeah.

So let's let's look at some numbers here, Bart. Look at with me.

So. What was the big? What was the big knock on the Brewers going into this postseason? What? What couldn't they do?

Well, they can't hit the home run. They they just cannot hit the home run. They are tied with the Dodgers for the most among playoff teams with eight. They lead the playoff field with a seven forty nine OPS. The next closest was the Yankees at six eighty.

They are out. The Dodgers OPS five seventy two. The Guardians six ninety two, the Rays six hundred, Brewers are batting two sixty three, by far the best of any team that made the playoffs. Dodgers a paltry one eighty eight, Guardians two thirty two, Rays two fifteen. Like all that worry about the Brewers not hitting home runs and not getting a bat at the deadline, I have said time and time again: this team can hit home runs; they just don't chase them.

And man, are they proving that? Like they are swinging.

Well, in the Dodgers, they have none this series. Yeah, they don't. They don't have any. And this is a. This would have been a classic night where the Dodgers, you know, Freddie Freeman hits one, and Hernandez hits one, and Shohei's back, and they just didn't hit any, and just pop fly after pop fly after pop fly.

Just a solid outing. I've got my first. I believe, shout out from New Zealand, or some with a little coin attached to it. Nice with what? Little coin, man.

He gave me three bucks. Yeah, it says A. I think I got Aussie money, Aussie dollars. I don't know what the YouTube sends you a separate check for that, and I got to go down to the bank and convert it. Convert the money.

I don't see those at airports anymore. Is that over with? Everything's digital now. It's all ball bearings these days. The kiosk where it said "Convert your money here." You know what we did to the Dodgers?

Neil was quoting movie lines, and what we did to the Dodgers was my favorite movie line of all time today, and that was in Animal House when the guy walked over and said. Do you mind when we dance with your dates? That's we we just asked the Dodgers if they mind if we dance with their dates tonight, and we whoop that ass. You know, my favorite movie line is, "And now I'm gonna go home and sleep with my wife." Anyone? Clue.

The answer aren't those from The Simpsons. The answer was Clue. Clue. I've never seen that movie. The movie, the Clue movie.

The Clue movie is so good. I I fucking hate playing Clue. It's so hard. I've never won ever. You've never won Clue.

Come on, man. No, I've never even played Clue.

So it's always Colonel Mustard with the you know the. You want a game? Stratego is the game. That's the game to play. Stratego's a good game.

That's a solid board game. Risk is pretty good too, man. Yeah, that's good. Um. All right, talking games.

I'll probably wrap this up pretty soon. I got a voicemail of playing some other shit. Anything else for you, Ron? Fuck the Cubs. I'm out, dude.

Fuck the Cubs, baby. Wagner, any poignant thoughts from you, baseball scribe? Just wondering what Crankers is doing tonight. How he's feeling. Council.

Yeah. What do we think he is actually doing? We've talked about this a couple times, but now it's three zero. He's certainly not sitting down and watching the game. Do you think?

Oh, absolutely not. Oh, he's absolutely watching the game. He's absolutely watching the game. He's absolutely watching. Like it's on in his house, and he's doing other shit.

Yeah. No, he's sitting down watching the game.

So he's in his recliner watching the game. Yeah, absolutely. And is he rooting? We'd have to we'd have to call him and ask him. Because if if the Brewers win the World Series, suddenly Council's a hero.

They should they should have him come throughout the first pitch. Although the Brewers probably would do something like that. Yeah. They. You know what I'm most looking forward to?

The first pitch is Randall Simon. What excites me the most about tomorrow's possibilities is coming on here after a loss and just seeing how everyone is just saying, "Oh, the series is over. They blew their chance to clinch it. I knew they were going to choke, typical Brewers, all over again." No, I don't. I don't think that happens.

If they lose tomorrow, I think we're like, okay. We we weren't gonna sweep. We're gonna say we weren't gonna sweep. I mean, we're we were. I think we're gonna.

Then if you lose again, now you got to come back to Milwaukee, and suddenly the pitching lines up a little bit, and you know now you're like, well, we're we're gonna say game six is not a must win, but it's a can't lose, and then then we go to game seven, and then we're like. What have we done? Why did we ever believe we're so fucking stupid? Wisconsin strikes again. Fucking the lie of the list.

Blah blah blah blah blah.

So we don't know what's coming back and winning the next two. Like you, you see him coming back and winning the two. I don't know what to think anymore because everything about this series has gone against the grain. Like it just, and it's not me being my usual pain in the ass. It just, I don't think.

Anyone saw the Brewers eking out those first two, I thought best case scenario was they were going to split, and then have to duke it out in L.A. And then after they took those first two, I thought for sure L.A. was going to show up today. And when Freeman put them ahead, I'm like, okay, here it is. And then for the Brewers to respond and respond the way that they did, like I don't think there's anybody, even the most diehard Brewer pumper.

Was sitting there going, they're going to go up three zero. The Dodgers, and I understand the euphoria over it. I understand the thrill of being twenty seven outs away. Like I get it, but it should not surprise anybody if the Dodgers come back and win the next two and force the series back to Milwaukee. Like it's it's the LA Dodgers.

You still have some of the best players on the planet who are due to break out, and it's hard to win that last game. But the Brewers have kept proving everybody wrong.

So if they come out and finish off the sweep, I won't be surprised either way. I really won't. Yeah, I think the way that it just feels, they feel a little more demoralized. But I'm thinking about when the Brewers were down three zero last year; like it was over.

Now we were on the road for Game Four, but it was over. I don't think the Dodgers feel like it's over, and if the Dodgers are the Dodgers, you know maybe they go in that locker room tonight and say, "Everyone, everyone hates us." Let's let's like like Robert said last year, we want to ruin baseball. What better way? If you're hated, you might as well just come back down three zero and let's let's do it again and shut these little punk ass Brewers up.

So there's certainly. There's certainly a way that they can find motivation. Are they going to do that? I just thought, like Snell, sure he gave up the first pitch homer, but he was locked down the rest of the time he was in there until he wasn't. Yep.

And the Brewers were chasing everything. They were they were swinging. I mean, you could have you could have put these pitches on top of a ladder. The Brewers still would have swung. We could we couldn't we couldn't lay off anything.

And then Snell goes down. He sits down and he watches his team do jack shit on offense. He's gotta be fucking pissed. Let's ask him. How do you feel, Blake?

Yeah, yeah, that's what I thought. No starter listed for tomorrow, so anybody's still waiting on Murphy comments. Yeah, he said there will be pitching tomorrow. Yeah, okay, there will be pitching. All right, sort of bullpen game.

I'm gonna play voicemail. Wrap this up. You are free to go. Wagner, talk to you tomorrow. Talk to you tomorrow.

Yep. Happy. I will be my normal chipper self, Bart. Bye, buddy. Love you.

You can join. All right, this is a voicemail from David in Buffalo. David met him through the national show. You can call into the voicemail line four zero two nine one five two two seven eight four zero two nine one five two two seven eight. This is David.

Ah, here we go. Hey Bart, what's going on? This is David from Buffalo. Congrats to your Milwaukee Brewers—they're one win away from winning, going to the World Series, man.

So that's pretty awesome, dude. I don't know, you know. Look, all the talk is, will there be a baseball season next year? But the bottom line is, it seems like there's been a lot of parity lately, and you got these smaller markets, smaller payroll teams, whatever you want to call them. They're doing pretty well.

So, hey man, just 27 outs away. I hope you guys can get it done. Nobody wanted to see the Dodgers in there unless your name was Jim Rome. That's it for me, and good luck to you guys. And I hope you guys get it done and sweep the Dodgers.

I'm out. Ah, thank you for that. I hope we can do that too. Tim Shea's joining us. Let's go to Tim Shea.

Oh, wait, no. Oh, yeah, I know. He kind of looked like him a little bit, but like. What's up, Shea? Hey Bart, how you doing?

We going to the parking lots tomorrow? We might be. We sure might be. What are you? What are you thinking?

What? How do you? What do you want to hear? What are you thinking here? Just, I'm taking it.

I literally one pitch at a time, one game at a time.

So I just don't want to go get too high. Don't want to get too low.

So when did you think this game was over? After the Mitchell home run. Yeah. Right. It just.

It just felt like it. That hasn't happened all year. If you can get an early lead tomorrow, an attack right away, this thing might be over. No, I want to say this too because we're talking World Series.

Some people don't want to. I don't like to use the word yet. Yeah, no, I and I get it. I get it. I get it.

I'm not ready to use that. I get it. But Tim, the Brewers are forcing us. I know. I don't.

I don't want to be saying, "Ugh." I want to be all like, "Nah." You know, I want to be all guarded. They're forcing us. They're up three zero.

So, do you want to know something that happened today in my ballpark app today? Did you get a ticket sent to you? They all were sent. All the World Series ones. Yes.

And that's what I'm going with. Yeah, I'm I'm going with my dad. I'll pay five thousand dollars to kick out your dad and go. You five grand for real. That's about what I made on the pod this year, so it all evens out.

Because I'll take my dad to game two then. Yeah, and buy all the beers and brats you want, five grand. Um, if they go, if the if it's the Rays, if they go and it's the Rays, I'm gonna fly down for three and four. Yeah, I think I think all Milwaukee's flying down to Tampa. Oh, we got a new member, Simon Burf.

Our Australian friend, New Zealand, rather same difference, but it's not. That's it, Simon. New Zealand is a place I want to go. He's already at tomorrow. I know.

What's what's it like on third? What's it? Yeah, do we win? Do we win? Do we win tomorrow?

Uh, Bart, I'm going to be a mess tomorrow if we win. It's 5:30 there. Game hasn't started yet.

Okay, we still got an hour and a half. I'd go to New Zealand. I want to go to London. I've never been to London. I hope the Packers will probably play there in a Super Bowl at some point under Coach.

Wakanda. I'd like to see Wakanda. Do you want to go to Iceland? Latvia. I'd like to see Latvia.

All right, let's go back. Let's go back to the Brewers.

Sokovia, but it's destroyed. Thoughts about tomorrow for you? Thoughts on Vision Quest? Anyone want to talk about Vision Quest? What are my thoughts?

I well, my thoughts are. I mean, my thoughts are we're going to win. By the way, I was also I been listening all night. I have also been doing the Derek May thing. I when I saw that or when I heard it, I just started laughing because I I think I said it twice today.

Who's pitching tomorrow? Derek May. No frick. No. How do you think this Guardians race series is going to go?

Like, I know we normally don't give a shit about that series, but it might go seven. We got to watch it. Games tomorrow at noon. We got to watch that shit. Noon, noon for a ALCS.

Well, it's going to rain tomorrow night. I know it's supposed to. It's when do they get the next game in? Why is going to rain for a? They're getting what we're getting, and it's going to get ugly.

When are we getting rain? Thursday, Friday for like forty to fifty mile per hour winds. Friday. What? Yeah.

Why? It's. Fall, you know. Unfortunately, it's not going to be eighty-four degrees every day, dude. It is so much better, just like doing this and talking with buddies in the Winklerverse than it would be like having to pipe down my excitement on fucking Infinity Sports Network.

Oh God, no! You'd be you'd be so see you right now, ah. You have to watch the games. You right now, though, would be freaking amazing on that network, on that show. Maybe after the games, not during.

I'd be a wreck. I'd have. I'd have to be like talking about the fucking. Do we think we see Marvin Harrison this week for the Texans? Let's go to John McLean down in Houston.

John, take the show over for twenty minutes. I would have pre-taped a lot of shit. I'll just taped interviews all day, like you would at six a.m. in the morning when you're driving in your car, and said, "Play this." Hold on, can let me connect to this. Are you sad you're not working for the team right now?

Not one bit. It would be actually probably hell for a lot of those employees. I it would be hell. They got to figure out logistics and World Series and merch and every single person who's ever been to one inning of Brewers baseball at that stadium needs to be in that stadium. Will not happen.

There's going to be people. They're going to have to start. People are going to just go to the parking lot. I hope they're aware of this. I just I hope they're ready for tomorrow, like, sir.

You can't go down, sir. Sir, you cannot go, sir. Like I just want to, I want to sleep in the parking lot.

So, are we TPing anything tomorrow at the in the lot, or like it's homecoming? We're TPing those those statues of Sea League in the trees, and I think you save that for a World Series.

So we just go tomorrow, and we could throw eggs at the stadium. Where are you doing your show from tomorrow?

Well, it depends. Like tonight, after Mitchell hit it, I would have been like, "All right, I'm I'm going somewhere." All right.

Well, you just tell me, I'll be somewhere. I'll probably just go down to Blue Mound.

Well, I'll be down there tomorrow. Why don't you just come meet me out to begin with? No. Just start. I like watching the game with my kid.

Okay. Does he go to bed? He stayed up tonight. Um. That's why I'm glad the game got moved up tomorrow.

But he stayed up tonight. He started to get a little like tired, and then I said this earlier, but we were all in shock that they won. And my kid was like, he he was sad that nobody was celebrating. Like, why he's not celebrating? I'm like, I'm frozen, son.

You can't celebrate yet. I know, I know. In your lifetime, son, the Brewers have made the playoffs pretty much every year. Even though it does say I am celebrating, I'm kind of not. The best part is, I'm at the bar and I look at the one of the bartenders.

I go, "Give me, I need a pen and paper." And she's like, "For what?" And I go, "I need to figure out how we're getting 15 more outs after." That's kind of lame. I'm sorry. Are you gonna come to pot with me next week? Yes, but are you gonna come join me on Blue Mountain tomorrow? Yeah, maybe.

Right. I guess I could start the pot if it's a close game. I can start the pot in my car and just talk while I drive, and then just wait to join with the network at the end. We'll do the network obligations. I might have to start a few innings early.

I might have to do a post game show during the fourth, fifth, and sixth inning, and then log off. What are we doing? Fucking sloppy ass shit. You're telling me, James? Did you talk to Timmy at all?

I I've called him a few times. No, I have not. I no. I'll probably call him when as soon as I'm done with you. I'll probably call him.

Unless he's still on, I'd be shocked though because I'm sure they gotta air some sort of Westwood bullshit. No, they got inside the Notre Dame huddle. Oh, okay. They got they got DePaul DePaul women's basketball preview on loan from the score they gotta play. All right, I am gonna go to bed.

Go. If I can, I mean, how can I? They're a game away. Can I just tell you facts? The Milwaukee Brewers are up 3-0 on the LA Dodgers in the NLCS.

The Milwaukee Brewers are one game away from the World Series, a World Series which the Milwaukee Brewers would have home field advantage for. The Milwaukee Brewers are 27 outs away from hosting their first World Series game in 44 years. The Milwaukee Brewers are going to win the 2026 World Series. That's an opinion, but here's how I'm going to bed tonight. You taking one of the gummies?

Purple.

Well, nighttime. Yeah. Eat it now. Show it to me.

Okay. Just do a little tutorial for those of you that don't know how to eat the Happy Place Hemp Gummies.

Well, I so here's the thing: I can't take a full one, or else I will not get up for work tomorrow.

So I'm going to take about a half one.

Okay. Hold on here. What? Hold on here. Fucking bitch.

Huh? What? What? All right. So I'm taking about a half one.

Okay, fine. I'll just put the whole fucking thing in my mouth. Nobody peer pressure to you. What are you talking about? I'm just put a whole fucking thing in my mouth.

Okay, BJ, good to see you, BJ. What's up, my brother? What we're trying to figure out what Council's doing if he's watching the game. I had my dad go to Starbucks. Hmm.

I'll my dad go to Starbucks tomorrow. He goes. Craig goes to Starbucks every day in Whitefish Bay. He does. Pretty much.

What time? I have no idea. He goes to Starbucks. Yeah. Go to the Collectivo.

Go to Sendix. Ten million dollars. It was ten million dollars to build that thing. You haven't heard about the ten million dollar new star, new Sundex. Drew says the eighty-two team had better hitting.

This team has better pitching. This is the best Brewers team ever. It might be. It might be, but I need to see how this ends. Do you think?

Simon says, "Love the show, Bart. We hate each other. Yes, we sweep. Who hates who? I follow this team and been laughed at for twenty years.

Love the show, dude. Love you. Someone wants to rub my head, huh? Did you see that? Who who rubbed your head?

Someone, no, someone wants to rub my head. I shake and I rub your head when we go out with Barty. Yes, free free head rub. Why does Council Grocery Shop? Why doesn't he Instacart?

I don't know. Willie and Tausch did a live show from Sendix. Craig Council should throw out the first pitch, and Matt Lafleur should catch it. Ah, that's fucking awesome. You know we should throw out the first pitches.

Adrian Griffin, just to like get a wellness check on him. I'm pretty sure he's dead and nobody knows it. Have you ever been happier in your entire life? And right this second, ask me tomorrow night. Oh, New Zealand.

Yeah, I got you, Simon. All right. Yeah. Matt, you've never been happy in your entire life. I have been.

I've been happier. It's not over yet. What the fuck, God? Where did this come from? Where did this come from?

But what was okay?

So, what's up? I've had this question for since last year. What's up with Blake Snell's eyes? Hey, watch it.

Okay, is he just high? Look at my eyes. I got Blake Snell bags. Like, does he not sleep? I got Blake Snell bags.

Oh, we're gonna try to get Bree on the show.

Okay. I'm. I'm sure. You want me to text her or send her? You have Bree's number.

No. I could probably find it on TikTok or something. Oh, you can find yeah, you can find it on TikTok. Or a TikTok message, hey, come join us. Yeah, yeah.

I'm I'm gonna be I'm gonna be a guy who looks like I look, and then message her and say, you want to come on my podcast? Haven't shaved since the Brewer playoff run has started. By the way, you know I haven't either. I did shave my neck, but I didn't shave my beard. Cause I grow it out in October just in case I need it for a Halloween costume.

Okay. I mean, it probably doesn't look any different than normal. It's a little scruffier. At this point for Halloween, you're going to go as Bernie Brewer. Thank you.

Just dye it yellow. Fuck. Because well, my kid's going to be John Cena, so I was going to be Edge. I could be Raleigh. You could be Paul Bear.

I'm gonna be Charlie Barrons for Halloween. I'm gonna be like, remember when you always hear my voice at Pick and Save? How full is Dodger Stadium tomorrow? I mean, if you're a Brewer fan and you live within six hours of LA, get there, please. You got to get there.

Where? Shay, I saw you during the Mitchell Grand Slam game when I was drinking with Dillard. Should have grabbed you. Mitchell Grand Slam. Mitchell Grand Slam.

I'm trying to think back. I was. You miss Matt in the falls joined earlier. What? Yeah.

Where was he during the tailgate in his big grill? Ah, he couldn't make it. He had something going on. I talked to him.

Okay. The Mitchell Grand Slam. Hold on, I'm trying to go back now. I don't think I was actually there. Drew says my cousin who smoked tons of weed at the exact same brewer's jacket I'm donning right now.

Yeah, isn't this sick? Look at my brewer shirt. Isn't it sick? This is like the complete, like best thing you could possibly wear, and then worst. I've got a sick hat.

I've got a sick jacket, and you've got. You you're one of the sheep. Do you know my record in this? By the way, this year it's a fuck off. What's your record, Tim?

It's like ten and two. You know our record in the postseason is six and one. We've just watched seven playoff games and we've lost one. That's the other part of this. We are watching high pressure, high stakes games, and winning.

This is just this isn't new for the Brewers. This is new for everybody. This is this is this is unbelievable. Should we do um Badger post games two Big Ten Saturday nights in a row? I feel bad for all those people that might have bought Badger and Brewer tickets for the Friday Saturday combo that they Badgers were trying to sell.

Yeah, ain't gonna be no Game Five soon.

Well, maybe we'll see. What don't you like about the yellow brim? That's a boat hat. Or the yellow. Right, Tim.

Yeah, yeah, leaving. Yeah, I gotta go to bed. I took a gummy. Are you gonna go to bed in that shirt? I might.

Should we do one last sweat check before I go? I I've changed shirts already for the night. Oh, am I clean? You might be. What the fuck?

Wow, this really is the hell really is frozen over. The Brewers are up three on the Dodgers, and I didn't sweat through my shirt. Good job, Bardy. Thanks for stopping. We'll be back tomorrow.

Oh, I got picks with Horvat tomorrow too, and post game. I like when the Brewers are in the playoffs because it makes my planning for the show very easy. I don't have to be like, "You want to come on my show, Bree?" What anti-perspirant do you use? I just take leaves and I nature it. I just want to smell like nature, and like water from streams.

Yes. All right, we'll be back tomorrow night, baby. Thanks for stopping into the Winkler verse. See you all on Blue Mountain tomorrow night. Go.
