Welcome into the Winkler verse. Welcome to another Milwaukee Brewers. Post game show. Welcome to the Milwaukee Baseball Post Game Show. Welcome to the Post Game Show.
We're talking Brewers. Had a great day on Sunday, talking a Brewers win and a Packers win on what was maybe the greatest Wisconsin sports day since the Bucks won the finals.
So why stop that momentum? Why not keep it rolling? And that is what we are doing as the Brewers get the seven-four dub against the Dodgers at American Family Field. Freedom boner first in the comments. Brewers tried to give that game away, and we still won.
I think the absolute opposite of that is true. I mean, I know Logan threw the ball away a couple of times. But the absolute opposite of that is true. Robert says, "Is this going to happen? It feels like it's going to happen." Let's address that first.
So the Milwaukee Brewers have beaten the Dodgers seven to four, and they are up two nothing in the NLCS. They are two wins away from the World Series. That's not a jinx. That's not like that. Is an actual fact.
Now, the last time we've seen something sort of similar, I guess you know we saw the Brewers were down two zero, but I am reminded a lot of LeBron's tweet at CP three two down two to go, and so I we're not we're not I don't need to say that, but we are I mean we are two wins away. From the World Series, and this comment here, this it feels like it's going to happen. It does. It does, and if it doesn't, it doesn't.
Okay, we can't control that. But we've been talking. This feels different. Everyone agrees. There's something different.
And that could be for a lot of different reasons. This is not our first time doing this. This is not our first time doing this against the Dodgers. This is not our first time doing this in the last calendar year against the Dodgers. We've been here before.
They still keep coming back. More wins, hundred three wins. And they're playing a certain way that lets you think this is doable. I in about the fifth inning, and I'm going to put the link up. Andrew will not be joining us tonight, but if you want to, feel free.
I got the link up on YouTube and Facebook. Again, I've I've pumped out four episodes in the last two days, including this one. Do you know digest those if you can for me over the next two days? Mitch says it seems like your rant got the crowd going. No, no, no, I didn't.
I didn't. I didn't do anything to the crowd. I think what happened with the crowd was it's the NLCS.
Okay, the NLDS. They're still. You're not as hype. If you are going to go from the NLDS to the NLCS, maybe that's it. But when you are going to go from the NLCS to the GD World Series, that might be different.
At some point, the Brewers were going to get over the Dodger hump. We haven't yet. We haven't yet. Nothing is over yet. But I don't.
I just don't think we need to protect our feelings. This is my point. We don't know what's going to happen.
So, if you're worried or pessimistic that something bad might happen, like could we go? Could we blow this lead? Could we go three zero and blow this? But I say this, and I don't even, I don't, I'm not. That would be me fighting straw man.
Like if I were to say, "Oh, you Brewers fans that are still doubting," no one's doubting. I think one of the reasons it does feel so different is because everyone just like agrees it feels different. I'm I'm not when I put out parade chairs, which we're not doing, but when I put out parade chairs, everyone was down. It was that nobody that whole Bucks run it three two nets. Oh, Giannis hurt.
Whatever. It doesn't feel like that's happened. It just feels like, it just feels like everyone is on the same page, like everyone, and that's a big part of why this is so enjoyable to me. That's a big part of why I love playoff baseball so much. That's a big part of why you need to be in Milwaukee in two thousand eight.
I'm not no parade. I'm not doing parade chairs. I'm. What would it take? I'm not doing it.
I did it for the Bucks. I'm protecting that. I'm protecting that. I'm not doing it. I'm not doing it.
This is something different. Brew down, says Green Magic. You got in the hang of the comments. Good. If you're gonna throw some shekels, leave a comment, please.
Oh yeah, yeah, they haven't yet. I know, I know, I, I got you. They haven't yet, but they could. Forest says Yelich was clutch tonight. I feel like we need to keep Contreras.
Yeah, not because of his production, but he's the energy igniter of this team. Yeah, my kid's future stepdad, William Contreras, another monster homer. What they say he's got three of the five. In the playoffs here, I'm so stupid. I thought David Hamilton was going to hit a home run.
It was just a blue single, but when it was off his bat, I'm like, oh my god! There, there it goes. There it goes. Set up a World Series merch tent. I got to get off my ass and take advantage more of this.
I got, I got, I don't know what I got to do, but I got to do something. One thing that it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to do if it happens is, um, go to a game. I'm not credentialed, which was my backdoor way in the past. They're selling they're selling tickets in the 400 to season ticket holders for 1,100 bucks. I was thinking I might.
If I was thinking I'm going to try to get me, my wife, and my kid to a game for under a thousand each, that seems not possible. Although Chip Chipperson throwing a 30 spot that might help. We're not doing Send Bar to the World Series because you guys will get nothing out of that. But I will take the money into the show, Kitty Chip Chiperson. Appreciate that very much.
If you want to leave any comments, that's part of what you purchase was getting first in line. But thank you to Chip Chiperson, Jason Brewers all the way. Dodgers look old and slow, and wouldn't have scored four runs if the Brewers didn't give him a freebie. Felt like a while. Mookie Betts was just gonna.
Score four times without having to do anything. We kept helping him out, putting him on base, throwing the ball away. Yeah, leave a comment. Um, you got to take the kid. I know, I know.
I'm, I have to, and I'm not gonna not. But you guys need the if if I try to go to World Series game too. Let's say, don't you guys need the podcast after? I think we can all say you got to go to the game. Yeah, I'll do it in the car on the drive home.
I'll let the seven year old drive. Who cares about that? Let's talk about that a different time. We're talking about the game tonight, and we're talking about how we all feel. And I want to get back to that because it does feel like we are all on the same page.
So in 2008, I worked in lacrosse. And I was not on the path that I wanted to be. I had a TV job. I wanted to come home. Whatever.
I didn't like it, so I moved home. But part of the reason in trying to figure out if I'm going to move home from Lacrosse to or to Fond du Lac again was I did want to be closer to Milwaukee so that I could go to every game of the Brewers playoff. And I bought. One of those, um, season ticket package things.
Okay, and now they didn't get past the Phillies, and I only used two tickets. But I was ready because I had to be there close. And I'm saying this because I'm sure the whole state feels it. the The Brewers are a state team. If you didn't know that, they have great Wisco apparel for you to buy.
But I'm telling you, in Milwaukee, there is a crispness. And I know today was like 85 degrees, and the roof was open, and this was supposed to be a, you know, cold weather baseball. I love cold weather baseball, and people probably didn't expect that they were going to go to NLCS Game Two in Milwaukee, not to be on the third base side. Um, because of the heat, Paul says, "Say it out loud." The Brewers are better than the Dodgers. Big Ron, the Brewers are a team of destiny.
With all due respect, Bart, that is the ugliest Brewers hat I've ever seen. I have gotten more compliments on this aqua green teal Brewers hat. Which I brought at the I bought it at the pro shop three years ago. I've gotten more compliments on it than any hat that I've worn, even more than the Winkler verse hats. Believe it or not.
So we'll get into the game, but the general feeling is that something is different, and I can't even strawman you and say it's not. Don't because no one is. Everyone feels it. We all. Feel it.
I talked to people at pickup today. What do you think's going to happen? Oh, I don't know. I don't know.
Well, we want we want the series to give. No one's saying that. They're saying I think we're going to win tonight. I said I think we're going to win tonight. My prediction was six two.
Uh, spoiler alert: my predictions been six two every game this playoffs. I predicted. Six-two, every game this playoffs.
So I'll continue to predict that. But when we go back in this game, I didn't know if we were. Is the fourth inning, fifth inning, maybe? We don't know how it's going to play out. We don't know how any of this is going to play out.
So yes, enjoy this. Enjoy this. What's happening in Milwaukee is very special, and what's going to happen the next couple of days is going to be special too. We've got games on the road. In Los Angeles, crowd was great tonight.
Absolutely, again, great. But what this did was it guaranteed we're coming back. Talking to Wagues last night, said worst case scenario, you got to get back in Milwaukee for a Game Six, even if you are down three two.
Now, if that's what happens, it'll be pretty disappointing because we're up two zero. As Bobby says, going up two zero against the Dodgers a pretty bfd. But I also like the fact that even if they would have lost this game, they were not giving up. They were relentless. Dodgers go up one nothing.
We come back. Dodgers go up two one. We put up two. They put up two. They're up.
We come back. We kept coming back until we got the go-ahead run in the sixth, and the Dan Shaney insurance runs. Thank you, Dan, in the eighth. This team, even if they would have not won or blown it or whatever, they were not giving up at all. And there's a lot to be learned for that.
Now they also got the win, so we don't need to do. Silver lining or morale or any of that, and I'll say this too: if you are in California, or if you know anyone in California, get to these games at Dodger Stadium. I know California is a big state, but the Brewers are coming to quite possibly clinch a berth to the World Series at Dodger Stadium. Get there, Corey's in Cream City, joins us on the Dan Shaney YouTube stream. What's up, Corey?
This is this is bonkers. I thought you know we leave Milwaukee a split to get this second game and to chase Yoshi after two and two thirds. We burned their pen. They're gonna get some rest, sure, but. We are just attacking, attacking, attacking, and these guys have no answers for us.
And even with the errors that we made today, we are like in the pull position. And I, it just, this is, I can't even explain it. We've got Uncle Todd here in the comments. Says it's all about the Lucky Wisco shirts. He's part of the Wisco Hotel Group.
So if you're ever staying around the state, this beautiful state, check out a Wisco Hotel Group hotel, and also Wisco. They all made Wisco shirts for their employees, and I'll tell you this about Wisco: I see the logo, it doesn't bother me as much when I see the crowd wearing it. I still don't like it on the players.
Okay, now I won't ignore everything you just said, Corey. This is amazing. Everything about tonight.
Okay, we can nitpick, right? Like Logan Henderson, what are you doing over to first? Why are you? Why did that happen twice? But their fight and getting Yamamoto out of this game early, and that's why we have to credit Jake Bowers.
This twelve pitch at bat that Jake Bowers had probably should have been the first thing that I brought up today. You get into five straight fouled off strikes. Ah, let's see. Seven. The seventh pitch of that bat was in the zone.
The eighth was in the zone. He actually fouled off nine, ten, and eleven, which were all close. But then he took ball twelve in the dirt. What an at bat to get on base, to get things moving. Huge for that at bat singularly alone to work up Yamamoto's pitch count more than anything.
Yelich gets one into center. He was great tonight, and everything. As I bring in Austin here too, Corey and Austin, and a shout out to John Lennox. Add send Bart to the World Series fund from the NHL 2.0 league. Hey John, I suck in that league.
I have seven backup goalies in hockey because I auto drafted, but I'm going for my first win this week. If you're okay, I'm not begging for money, but I can't not accept the money.
So thank you. But this was a great night. Hell yeah!
So Corey, yes, we're up two zero. How do you feel? I mean, I'm, I'm almost thinking sweep at this point. I don't want to like jump the gun on that by any means. But the next two pitchers are going to be Snell, who missed most of the season, and then Glassnow.
And I know Glassnow we can be had. It's not like he's going to be you know Cy Young right now. Both these guys are are you know we can get at them. We got Gasser going. I am assuming Game Three, Game Four.
I am not sure. We haven't seen Dwayne at all, or Pedrick yet, or Harrison. Yeah.
So we've got three guys. It's almost like their arms are too fresh. I hope that they're just throwing side sessions just to be ready. I was kind of surprised Ashby came out for the ninth. I like it.
Oh, I loved it. I am ready. You don't need McGill there. Probably save them. You got three run lead.
Kuz Wallace says I have Bart on the TV in my living room. Went upstairs, put Bart on the TV in my bedroom.
Now I'm giving my son a bath, and I have Bart on my phone. Yeah.
Why is Bart everywhere in this house?
Now that's how you send Bart to the World Series, because that counts as three separate YouTube views. Parentheses three. I sent this. I sent this to my wife. This comment, and my wife said, "I ask myself the same question every day, Austin." How are you feeling?
Oh, ecstatic! The Dodgers have to win four out of the next five. They have to win four out of the next five. And do you think the Brewers are going to lose four out of the next five? Highly unlikely.
It's more unlikely that the Brewers lose four out of the next five than it is likely that the Dodgers win four out of the next five. If you ask me. Losing losing four out of five. It's it seems like it cannot happen to this team. Even though a year ago they did lose four of four.
Yeah, yeah. But it's different this year. It doesn't. That's not their makeup. And then I just I also wanted to say with Henderson throwing away those two with those two errors.
Um. How much, just to relate to that, like this team is all for each other. Like, for Contreras to be the guy to get his pitcher back, so that the Brewers weren't going to lose this game, and they didn't give up another run after that. For Contreras to have his pitchers back, basically, is what I'm saying. I mean that's just a testament to this team's identity.
If you ask me, Christopher says sweep. Get out of here with that jinx! No, no, no. We do not think that way. Yeah, nothing we say here tonight on into the Winkler verse, as popular as it is.
We are folks, by the way, on episode number. Seven hundred and sixty-nine. Hey, let's go!
So we're counting up to seven, seven, seven with Pato. It's a go! And we're we're actually we're actually getting there too fast. I'm trying to plan something for the end of the month, but the Brewers keep Winning? Are you going to do something for that, or is this all you know, telling tales out of school, Bart?
No, no, no. I what I would like to do is do. Um, I have to. I have to map this out so this is not a jinx. But I would like to time it where it's either a pregame or a postgame of a World Series at Poto.
Oh, how sick would it be if it was Game Seven on Seven Seven Seven? We're getting there before October thirty first. I'll tell you this: here is you want to know what I really think. You want to know what I really truly think. I think that all this talk about the Brewers and the Packers playing at the same time on Sunday is a waste of breath because I don't think.
We are coming back here to play more baseball until it's the World Series. I don't think we're going to sweep. Game three's tough. Game three's tough. I don't think we're going to sweep.
But why the fuck not? Imagine buying your kid a toy only to find the batteries aren't included, or buying furniture but missing the tools to build it. Frustrating, right?

I I don't see why not. How Scooble? We're all like, ooh, Miz didn't have his stuff. Scooble wasn't any better. Yamamoto threw a complete game here a year ago.
We chased his ass out of there. Did he get today? Eight outs. That Bauer. That Bauer's at bat.
I had one friend text me. Man, just get a hit already! And I said, "Dude, keep Bowers up there as long as you can, because I'm like, I'm like Yamamoto might not even get into the fifth. He didn't even make the fourth. We got his ass out of there so quick, and that was huge.
And they used eight pitchers, and which is crazy, by the way, that they have the roster to do so. But still, got to him." Wisconsin sports is just throwing money in here. One ninety nine, take one in L A, and we're going to the Fall Classic. If they get this done, that Bowers at bat will probably be overshadowed by something else, but it's gonna go down in history as one of the greatest at bats in Brewers postseason. Absolutely.
I mean, we saw Churrios, and we are all just you know jaw on the floor. This is just as good, if not maybe even better. Brewers could be playing at the same time as the Bucks. Oh, no one cares. No one cares.
It was like, it was like great Wisconsin sports weekend. Brewers, you know, whatever. And then people are like, oh, but the Bucks lost. And then, and then the little corner of Admiral Nation is like, oh, the Admirals won Saturday.
Okay, good job. We like the Admirals. We want them to win, but. We love the ads. You're not included.
We've got bigger fish to fry right now. They say it's the best Wisconsin sports weekend in five years. Unfortunately, you're not included in that.
Okay. Um. Let me get Neil in here. Bart, I got to bounce. Thanks for having me.
I got to go and eat something because I haven't done that yet. You just been pounding white claws all day, or what? What? It was hams, and then I found a topechico.
So. Oh yeah, yeah. But yeah, we'll we'll get there. But thanks for having me, Go Brew Crew. All right, Austin's here.
Corey's out. Neil is in, and I'm gonna get Big Ron also in the proceedings, guys. Let me just also say because a lot of people here right now watching, and you three, I know for sure, we've been. Talking in these playoffs for the last four years, whether it was Brewers, we didn't get the Bucks in the Winklerverse. That was radio life, but Bucks playoffs have been terrible.
Packers playoffs have been terrible, and we all get in here and we all bitch. And what a great joy it is to get in here. And again, we don't know how it's going to go, but who gives a fuck? Because this rules. Neil, how you feeling?
I'm feeling incredible. I I joined after the Padres series ended, and I said they're going to the World Series. And I think Bart, you said, I I don't know if I can say that, but I mean I'm I'm steadfast in they're going to the World Series, and I think they're going to win it. If we okay, I am a little worried that the Rays do get us. I am a little worried about that.
But we're good to be favored against Tampa and Cleveland. Either either one. Hey, you want to know something? Tampa's pitching scares me, but they really only have Junior Caminero as their big bat. The rest of their offense looks a lot like the Brewers' offense, where they just kind of chip away at you.
And I think what the Brewers are showing. There's another thing that's encouraging. I don't think the Brewers have played their best baseball yet. They keep making these little errors, and I think the differentiator is Murph because I think there's a chance we don't see Cooper Pratt in the in the lineup for game three. Oh yeah, he is.
Yeah, it's getting rough. I think he could put Ortiz at short and Hamilton at third base because Pratt has kind of had borderline the yips at times. But he had two hits. Yeah, his offense has been good, but Joey's been good since July.
So I don't know. I don't think the Brewers have played their best ball yet. Murph has been the differentiator, and the bullpen has been insane. Neil, may I say something here about that?
So with Yelich getting, oh yeah, I got the first slide. That was cool. Go ahead. Actually, just didn't start that game yesterday. Maybe perhaps that's why Joey Ortiz.
Maybe they were looking at, you know, some some stats about against the pitcher and lineup stuff that Murph is like, all right.
So now whoever comes in next, then they'll they're going to go with Joey. Oh, yeah. Big Ron's here too. I want Big Ron's thoughts before we keep this going. Big Ron, life is good, you know.
We um, we are yet, brother. We are up against Satan's soldiers. We are up against the evil empire. The Cubs, Wrigley Field has been turned into a spirit of Halloween, and um, you know, we got Aaron Ashby closing out the game. He looks like.
Ali G of Borat fame, doesn't you see the resemblance? Yeah, absolutely. You right? Sure. Life is good.
Do you think we're doing it, Ron? We're doing it, man. I believe. I believe. Tampa's nothing, man.
Are you hedging bets? Are you? You're not hedging emotional bets, are you? Oh, I'm hedging emotional bets. Yes, absolutely.
I'm buying this World Series bar, and all the Cubs fans, all the Cubs fans that have come at me on Twitter with their Mike's one right now. Mike says Renfri, we beat the Dodgers. You're still talking about Spirit Halloween? Yep, yep, yep. And all of them that created burner accounts to come at me, how many rings do the Brewers have?
I'm gonna tell them to delete their effing accounts, man. Yeah, get after it, Ron. It's gonna be a beautiful thing, Bart. I also have. Should we go five wide?
Five wide. I take J. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. With that Winkler verse cap, I love that. God, it's looking so crispy.
It's the negative brim, y'all. M Shark says Dustin may revenge tour start game four.
Well, he pitched tonight. Gasper starting game three. Who is starting game four? Are we doing some bullpen shit? Not Dustin May.
We still, guys, we haven't thrown this whole playoffs. Dodgers fans telling Q at the game, "If you're going to win it all, win it all." Okay, that's what is that advice? What the fuck does that mean? That's that's what people that say that are coping when they're leaving a stadium. It's only I'm chewed for you guys.
I think DL Hall could start game four. Hall, yeah, DL Hall. He's thrown like one pitch this series. They went four innings of Henderson. Then he came in and threw a ball away.
And Murphy, I've never seen him move quicker. May got in there. Romero got the win. Arribe was great. I hope he didn't celebrate too much for Dodgers fans.
Ashby with the save, the five out save, which I don't think that was the intention, obviously. Then they get a couple runs and let McGill sit down there. Jake, how you feeling about this situation right now? We're up two zero. I would feel like Jake.
You're someone that doesn't want to. You want to play caution. Is that right? Is that a bad read on you?
Well, yesterday I felt great the entire game. Today, not so much because it's like you can't keep giving the Dodgers outs. You can't give them runs. Miz, are you too darn good to do that? And all I kept saying to myself is like, it.
They need to get more than a one-run lead. If they can get a little bit of cushion here, we're going to be good. And they delivered. And my goodness, Ili Contreras, that dude. I want to see him do the Tanaka Pedro Serrano big balls dance when he's going like doing the home run trot.
You know, that would be amazing. Murphy is giving it suck it signs. Oh, we not do anymore. Like, oh yeah, if they win it all, I need your rebate on top of the bus, just with a straight up DX fireworks behind them. They should bring in Trips and Sean just to like help them do that.
This team, I just want to say to the guy that commented to stop jinxing it, get you and your little dick get out of here. That's little dick energy. There's no such thing as jinxes. I'm calling for it right fucking now. Yeah.
On that note, right there, they are going to sweep the motherfucking Dodgers. It is happening. I I just like even thinking.
So here's again, I don't know what's going to happen. And sorry for swearing, but it's fine. Although Eddie Lemberger, I didn't get monetization yesterday because I played Eddie Lemberger. Won't happen again. It's worth it.
Yeah, I know. They're like, "Do you want to edit it out?" I go, "Fuck no. I'd rather I'd rather get Eddie Lenberger than monetize my three bucks I get." So, I I just want to keep prefacing. I don't know what's going to happen. I believe they're going to win the World Series, and I'm just going to start to say it out loud instead.
Now it's a little late because we're all thinking it now, but I don't mind. I've been saying it feels different. It feels different, but you know what it feels like. You know what it feels like. Dex, it feels like 2010 Packers.
It feels like 2021. Bucks, it just has that same feeling, and and I don't know if that's the team or if that's us because I do think in 2010 with the Packers in the Super Bowl, them being a six seed, winning on the road, and then when they when they won in Atlanta, it just felt like everyone decided to believe, and then in 2021. There was no way, even with injury, there's no way we're gonna lose to the fucking Hawks. And then Game Six, nobody showed up to Game Six with any other like possibility. They, we all knew they were going to win.
We all knew it.
Okay, and that's what this. I don't want to talk too much about it. But Bears fans yesterday—that's how they felt, and they were wrong. They all came up here thinking, "Oh, but they were wrong because they're stupid." Now it just feels—it just yes, the team is great, and maybe that's why. But I just think you ask anybody, and maybe they won't say it right away, but within like three questions, if you say.
But okay, gun to your head, or how much money? What do you think's going to happen? And they'll they'll say, even reluctantly, they might say, "God, I really think we're going to win. I think we're going to win the World Series." It just feels like everyone's on the same page, and maybe it doesn't happen. Maybe we crash and burn.
Maybe tonight's our last win of the playoffs, which I can't even say because no way. But we're all together more than I think we ever. Have been and I am, I. That's just what I love the best about the playoffs is going around town wearing a hat. Go Brewers!
You see all these kids at school wearing. I think my kids wore Brewer shirts seven straight days, unwashed. Probably some of these. Um, he's got three jerseys. The Churio one he's got is just full of stains and shit.
I'm not. I'm not watching this one until the end of the season. Oh, I I have to watch everything because I sweat so fucking much. Get a breathe. To your point, this feels like 2010 Atlanta versus the Packers.
Rogers spinning out, hitting. You know, I don't know. I don't even know who the receivers were in 2010 anymore. Donald Driver. But even when we went to the Super Bowl.
We weren't going to lose to the Steelers. Hell no. And I know the Steelers. You know that got scary there, and then thank God for Clay Matthews. But it just feels like that.
We've got Austin. We've got Neil. We've got Hot Take Jake. We've got Big Ron. If I could fill in this little box right here, who would you guys like to see?
Any requests? Tim Shaq. You. Tim, Jake, you—you guys do better than that. You do better than that.
Rolling Texas, Cone Roller, let's go! I'm not—I'm not quite where you guys are all at with World Series. I'm taking the approach of this is the 2015 Badger basketball team. Where so that'd be great, but then we're gonna lose. But that's an unknown because the Brewers haven't been there, you know.
And just like the Badgers against Duke, that was an unknown going in because we haven't breached that territory. We did breach that territory with the Final Four loss the earlier year against Kentucky, where in 2015 we got them back in revenge to go to the championship. I think that's the same way with with this Dodger team and LA Dodger baseball and Kentucky Wildcats basketball have very similar aura. I agree. You know what I'm thinking too.
Here, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna stamp this as a take. But if I, you know, like if we do the question, if you could change one outcome in Wisconsin sports history, I might. I need to think long and hard because even though I'm not the biggest Wisconsin Badgers guy, well, I am, but I'm not a college basketball guy. I might overturn that Duke one. I really think that would have been that would have did wonders.
Just for the state, I don't know if the Wisconsin Badgers going to beat Duke in 2015. I'd go with Brandon Bostic on sidekick. Glenn Robinson baseline jumper 2001. Yeah, he's big. Ron's on.
He's on. I'm on with Bart. I'm on. Yeah.
Okay. We'll save that. We'll save that for the slow months. What's this? This is the Dodgers head.
Against the Brewers, right here, this little kid. I don't know.
I don't know what I'm. I don't endorse this. You're not getting monetized here, Bart. No.
So I want to comment on something Bart said, like the vibe and how we can all feel it. I live in Minneapolis, and like my neighbors, a diehard Packers fan doesn't really watch baseball. He's lived in Minnesota for years. He's watching all the Brewers games now because I've kind of talked them into it. My other neighbor's a Twins fan, but I ran into him on the street wearing all my Brewers gear, and he was like, "Dude, I watched that kid who throws 105.
Like that was incredible. I think like nationally, we're starting to finally get." The play we deserved, and I don't know. It's different than anything I've ever felt as a Brewers fan. Living, I like to. I like to, Neil, that like even just people that don't watch the Brewers every day.
Like I'm, I'm thinking about my wife. She'll go to a couple games a year. She's, she's like. You can't not be in it. It's about more than the Brewers.
It's about your town. It's about the pride. Everyone's doing it. You almost have to. You almost have to follow to like not feel left out.
You know, in the lack of a monoculture, which I always gripe about. This is this is what we have. The Brewers. We are so connected on the Brewers, and the deeper it goes. The more people that jump on board, and even if you're like, like I'm sure there were a lot of this game was at four o'clock on a Monday, not ideal, but if you're at like a practice or if you're at work or someone's got the game on their phone or on their computer or whatever, it's on the radio, you're not, not paying attention to this game, and the deeper we get.
I can't even imagine what a World Series. I wasn't around here in '82. I would say only Ron was of this group. Maybe Cone. We've never seen his face.
We don't know how old he is. Hard to say. Maybe maybe by the end of this month. What you are going to unface if there is a title? Cone.
I said if there was a bagel. If there was a title, I would. Any title. What about the Milwaukee Wave won a couple of years ago?
Okay, Bucks, Badgers, Packers, Brewers. I think the inequity of baseball really plays a factor in here. I mean, this is what makes the Brewers my favorite team. I mean, this is David versus Goliath. I mean, the Packers, the Bucks, they—they all have a salary cap.
The NHL has a salary cap. I mean, the the the Brewers' payroll is like 130 million. If you add in Shohei's, you know, 70 million deferred and all the other deferred, you're talking about a half a billion dollar payroll for the Dodgers. And we're we're up two zero on them, you know. On that point, Ron.
On that point, one thing I am getting sick of is when Murphy says something like, you know, the Dodgers. He had a quote the other day how the Dodgers were not balanced and whatever, and everyone's like, "Oh, fuck you! You win a hundred games, you win the Central." But he is right. He's right in the sense that we can't afford mistakes. With our roster building, the Dodgers can.
The Dodgers right now are paying seventy million dollars to a guy who hasn't hit a home run in two months. Shohei looks like ass. He's broken. Like I can't. You almost have to.
When when if I'm LA sports radio or podcaster Bart, I'm saying, well, you can't bench Shohei, but. Can we put him down to the six hole at least, or some shit? Like he is at the top of the order, and he's fucking getting out every goddamn time. On your point, Bart. Matt Garza's contract hamstrung the Milwaukee Brewers.
Like, and the Dodgers have Kyle Tucker out there hitting eighth. Yeah, you hear Joe Davis on the broadcast. I'm not one to get pissed off at national broadcasters. You hear make up stories again tonight? Yeah, but Joe Davis saying that Dave Roberts has an impossible job putting together his lineup for Game Three—that is the biggest joke I've ever heard.
I mean, Dave Roberts say we're smarter than everybody. You know, you just outspend everybody. You're not smarter than anyone. Was it Billy Martin the one time the Yankees manager who just picked the lineup out? Which time, Bart?
Which time? The ninth time. Hey, do you know who Dave Roberts is? He is Doc Rivers. He is baseball's Doc Rivers.
Yeah, but he wins. He's got a little more success. Doc Rivers won one, like when when Doc Rivers won. That's Dave Roberts winning with the Dodgers. Dave Roberts had the most consequential steal of all time, too, as a player.
I don't think he's. I don't think. I don't think Doc's a good comp. I'm going to push back.
Sorry. Maybe maybe Spolstra. Let don't get all. Paul's going to get in here now. Yeah.
Hey, one thing, Jake. I don't. I just don't think anyone who's ever won anything. Doc Rivers is such. That that's an insult.
Name a name a guy that has been handed. More success without having to do anything than Dave Roberts. Like Doc won a title. Dusty Baker's baseball. Doc Rivers.
Dad, did Dusty ever win anything?
Well, who was the Bulls and Lakers coach? Man, that guy was handed a lot of talent. Phil Jackson. Steve Kerr. Phil Jackson.
Phil Jackson was the Zen master. Like Phil Jackson was the man, and Dave Roberts is literally just a guy. I got a comment here from Coco Rain. She says, "Hey everyone, I'm new here. Would you like to give me a follow, please?" Of content or what's the follow for?
Is she offering up a cruise? Coco of sorts stripper's name. Coco Rain. Remember when Dave Roberts is like, "We're going to ruin baseball"? That was bullshit.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, wouldn't it be nice if we ruin their season and then the little lonely Milwaukee Brewers somehow win a World Series before it all happens? And I like the Pratt. I do want to say that the what they were doing with some contracts with is Pratt and Churio, just genius to get that done before any of this happens and pay those kids, and especially. Getting ones that are you knew were going to be good. I don't know.
I thought that was kind of genius to do. Hey, speaking of speaking of Pratt, don't get me wrong. Murph has been hitting all the right buttons. What on earth were they doing? Trying to have him steal?
With Frelick at the plate, I don't understand that one. And the other thing is, like again, he's he's touching the right buttons, but you got to get Mitchell out of there and get Lara into the lineup. Mitchell is guessing every single time at the plate, and it's it's brutal to watch him flail. It was good to get a late inning, eighth inning rally because, like, for a while, this was feeling exactly like yesterday, where we just swing at fucking everything. We almost, we're almost swinging at these pitches.
Like, okay, we're up. We just want to end this game. Like, we just want to be done. Like, swing and get a get, sit back down, and we'll play defense. I think the Brewers, if they could just say, "You just want to play defense for nine outs and not bad anymore." Yeah, we just want to get out of here.
We. We don't want a bat. That's not how they're thinking, obviously, but that's how they're swinging. They're swinging like that.
Well, I mentioned after the Packers game, I feel like maybe something has flipped with Matt Lafleur with Jake Bowers having that 12 pitch at bat. I'm hoping that that sets the tone to the team to like remember who the fuck you are. You work counts, you know. You you get on base, you move runners. Like, I know it's got to be tough.
You're you're trying to get this monkey off your bat. Every at bat probably feels so pressurized, but like, just fucking be the Brewers, man. Keep her moving. You know what the greatest move so far of these playoffs was? Was Pat Murphy putting a letter on Yelich's chest.
Because that has just like reinvigorated him. Yeah, and and one thing it also did—I mentioned this last night—but it also like it just made us remember Yelly is the captain. We love Yelly, and I think had he like, you know, the RBI since 2018 and all this, I think we would have like got on his ass a little quicker. Than some of these other guys, but now we're more cognizant and reflective of Yelich, and so I think that's influenced the fans too. I just think that that was a genius little tweaky little, and like when they say you win on the margins, putting a letter C on Yelich's chest is not nothing.
It's actually done a lot of heavy lifting, believe it or not. I think. I love what happened right at the end of the season, where I think Murph pulled Contreras because he didn't run out a run it run it out to first base on a ground ball, and then the next day Contreras kind of gave him the bird back by sliding into first base on what was fairly routine. Contreras has come in and just been a dog and. I did you guys see him like pimp his single to extend the lead a little bit?
Like he he walked a little bit after blooping that single in the left field today. I just love the energy he's bringing. It kind of complements the more subdued nature of some of the other guys, the way they go about it. Contreras has to be one of like we know his brother, and we hated playing against him. I gotta think the Dodgers are fed, but I don't even like.
I don't even like you know we talk shit about Bears fans and whatever. Is a Dodgers fan really sick of Contreras? Do they even give a shit? Exactly. Are they even real fans of baseball?
Dodgers fans that showed up to Milwaukee. I don't think a lot of them traveled here. I don't know where they came from. They come from Milwaukee. Q Q was at the game.
He sent me a picture of the guy that was by him who was just like. Gold chains all over his body. Where do these guys come from? I never see them, but then you go to the game and it's like, I don't know. It's like we live in New York, and there's, it's weird.
But these Dodger fans that are going to go Game Three, Game Four, Game Five, if necessary, they don't, they don't pine for a win like we do. They've had it, they've had it good. They win World Series. They're going for their third in a row. They live in maybe this is like the Dodgers, like the Chiefs when they were going for their third in a row.
You're good enough to get there again, but if you're going to talk about hashtag who wants it more, how is it not us and our fans? And that's why we have to be loud. And they were great. And I think, I think, I think you're going to see more Brewers fans in California. Like if I even if I live in Sacramento, I'm thinking, how the fuck do I get down to one of these games?
I have. I like Gasser to win Game Three, man. I think Gasser's winning Game Three. I don't know about Game Four. We don't even know who the starter is, but and then I think you turn around and pitch Miz maybe in Game Five, right?
I mean, isn't that the plan? Game Five. You could if you're up three zero, you could throw Miz Game Four with the off days. I don't hate looking at Harrison if you're up three zero. Bring him back.
Bring him back there, Colin. Bring him in for a start. Yeah, I don't think he can go more than two innings though. Has he been like? On a bullpen strategy, is he like throwing a pitch and two?
What's the? I don't think he's stretched out. Like that's the issue. He he can go like two innings, and they've been all over his fastball ever since that injury. It just doesn't have the same same vertical break where they can pick up on it.
He's not tunneling his pitches. Amos says pretty close minded to think there aren't lots of Dodger fans. By number, there are. But if they're not fans in the way that we are, and I'm not saying this, I'm not saying we're better. Yeah, they're not doing this.
You think there's any Dodger fans that? Probably not. The Dodger jersey. This is how I view it. These Brewer logos that we're all mostly wearing outside of the Winkler.
Oh, you got the Brewer cap on.
Okay. And Big Ron going backwards hat kind of guy. We're wearing this as a scar, like we. This is on us. This is we were born into it.
We bleed it. We need it. Wearing an LA cap, wearing the nice Dodgers cursive script. That's accessories. That's a name brand.
Hey, that's a Rolex. We're the off-brand watch. We, it, it just means more to us, you know. All right, Craig. We never want that.
Is a Craig Council ad right there. This is an off-brand watch. I got this for fifty bucks on the internet, baby. We're going to move to Chicago now. What's that?
What Neil? I said Bart's gonna move to Chicago now. Bart loves Chicago. Yeah.

Shopify. dot com. Can I can I talk about Chicago for a second? Yeah, I got to bounce it off. Go Brewers!
Love you, bud. Love you guys. Go Brewers! Very quick. Jeff Soupons warm up that he was wearing.
That was an old one. Wait, who wants to talk about Chicago? Yeah, I just have a very quick aside about Chicago. There is nothing that you can do in Chicago that is not as good or better than you can do in Milwaukee. That's just fundamentally not true.
Unless you're an alcoholic and you need to be at a bar until whatever hours of the night, there is nothing that you can do in Chicago that is better than or the same as you can do in Milwaukee. And I will stand on that take. Chicago is Milwaukee with insane traffic, insanely priced everything. You can't even like the public transit. It takes forever to get anywhere.
At least they have that. The weather is is worse. The the windy. The like. There's nothing.
We got a hop that goes around six blocks.
Okay, but that's fine. But like, what? I need an example of what is okay. I bet you, Jake. I bet you, here and Midway.
I bet you, neither of those airports have a walking walkway that hasn't been broken for ten years. You know, I just see Scott Walker bitching about fat asses around here. Need the extra walk, anyways. Direct from Milwaukee to Phoenix. It was beautiful.
Got to go to airport. I gotta fly to New Orleans, dude. I'm gonna have to take like seven connecting flights to get down there. I'm just saying, I need if someone can provide one example, I would love to hear what is a like you can do in Chicago that's better than what you can do in Milwaukee. As a 35 year old guy that does like to drink his beers, about all you can do is stay out to the bar until four o'clock, and.
I went to the bar today and was home by six to watch the rest of the game.
So and stay at the bar till four o'clock and pay fifteen dollars for each beer. Cool. Not. You can't go to a WNBA game in Milwaukee, Jake. Like I said, name one thing.
Yeah.
Arguments are the airport and WNBA and public transit. No, my look. My son plays football. Concrete Beach, Jake. Concrete Beach.
Yeah, even their their like their shoreline to the lake is worse than ours. Give me Bradford Beach all day, dude. That Concrete Beach is such bullshit. Bradford Beach has a tiki bar. You know, I mean, you know what else?
Like, you know what else is stupid about Chicago? The people that live there have this weird dichotomy where they want to believe that their city is like Milan and Ibiza and Paris and like this great city, but they also want to believe that they're like. As tough as nails, like we're from the wrong side of the tracks. We're like, no, you don't get both. You can't do that.
And the weird ass people that like live in a suburb but lie and tell people that they live in Chicago. Like, if you live here, if you live in Whitefish Bay, you live in Oak Creek, you live in Shorewood, you know, you live in West Allis. That's what you tell people. You don't say I live in Milwaukee, even though I'm 30 minutes away from it. Like, it's it's stupid.
I'm in Mequon. I live in Milwaukee. I live, I live, four blocks from city limits, and people won't let me say I live in Milwaukee. Shout out to Stalys, baby. I heard Jake say Stalys, so shout out.
Hell yeah!
Shout out. Enough Chicago bashing, you guys. You guys are psych. Bart's a closet fib. We know it.
He's a he. The fuck if I am. I like Chicago because because it used to be a part of the Wisconsin territory. That's why I like Chicago. And then they changed.
All right, I'm done bitching. What a great night! I love you guys. All right, Jag, love you. And there's the power button on his phone.
Ron, Austin, Neil, Austin. People are saying you look like Tyler Glass now. Yeah, I'm gonna have to pull up a picture for that. Yeah, let's do a side by side. I think he's got the long hair that you have.
Uh, he is the he's the. I think he's pitching game four for these guys. He'll be game four, yeah. It's uh, every time I join, it's not worth it. He's got long hair.
He's got long hair. Yeah, every time I join one of these things, somebody's got some. I look like Spakoli. I look like. I'm high.
God knows what they want to say. You do look like somebody that I used to coach in soccer. Actually, his name is Ian. Yeah, but well, I don't know. I I just have long hair.
It's well, but but you like look like him. Like when you first came on, I'm like, is that the kid I used to coach, Ian? Yeah, I don't know, but. Tomson made a great. Austin looks like up.
He was addicted to a weed pen. I don't even smoke weed. This is nicotine.
So I don't know what to tell you. No, Cone made a great comparison to the Badgers run in 2015 because the Dodgers are Kentucky. Kentucky was undefeated in that run, you know. But then. The the Badgers fell into Duke, which is like basketball blue blood royalty.
I mean, Tampa Bay Devil Rays. I'm not afraid. Yeah, we're gonna fall into like man. They got we fall into Butler. Yeah, they're like Butler.
Tampa Bay Devil Rays are like Butler, man. They're like Butler throwing in that half court shot. You know, shit. Why am I watching this stupid football game? Why am I not watching bask baseball?
Am I doing? The ALCS started like 28 minutes ago, I believe.
So this is way ahead of ourselves. But if Freddie Peralta pitches a game in Milwaukee, Freddie Chan, we have to, right? Yeah, with tears in our eyes, though, for two reasons: one, we know it works, and two, it'll drive Chicago fans insane. I like that. We, but we have to do it with tears in our eyes because it'll be sad.
I got Austin, Ron, Neil, and Cameron is back. Been a long time, brother. I'm going to let going on, boys. Four box it. All right, Austin, love you.
Green, love you guys. Good luck in game four. Hell yeah, game four. Razor up two nothing. Cameron, hit me.
What's up? I think it's been I think since the 2023 loss to the Diamondbacks since I was last on.
So it's been a few years. What the fuck, dude? Dude, life, man, life. But this team is life. You can't even make your goddamn bed, Cameron.
I have a queen size blanket on my king size bed.
Sorry. Uh, no, literally this. Uh, I can't get enough of this team. This team is so much fun to watch. I put it in a comment earlier, but like when when when we when we get a guy on second.
Especially these last two games, if you get a guy on second base, it's a weird feeling of knowing he's just going to score. Especially if there's one or even zero outs, we're just going to get him over via bunt or a or a clutch hit. It's it's just so much fun to watch, and I'm glad I'm I'm witnessing a little bit of history here.
Well, hitting with runners in scoring position is the most important stat in baseball, and the Brewers, I think, are like top. One or top three in baseball, and that's that. Yeah, yeah, no, literally, all season long. Clutch hitting, clutch hitting, all season has been probably the most impressive stat that they've had. They've they've been incredibly clutch, clutch in a lot of situations.
And against the Padres, they, I think they had like sixty base runners in four games and only scored thirteen runs. Yeah, I am just waiting for. The top to kind of blow off with the offense, and I think we saw the start of that tonight. Yeah, the the bullpen too, man. You can't you can't ignore that fact too.
The bullpen's just been locked down. Ashby, his is just a platinum arm. Essentially, he's so good. I'm looking through. There was a tweet I wanted to mention.
I can't find it. I just see Bears fans mad at me because I said. Watching them slowly realize Ben Johnson sucks is gonna be the funniest thing over the next three years of my life. Bear down, Chicago Bears. They really suck.
There was a stat on Yamamoto that I wanted to share on the pod tonight, but. I don't prep for these anymore because I. While you're looking for that, can I pose a question? Yeah, I quit looking. Just ask the question.
All right. Who's the MVP for the Brewers so far? Contreras. Contreras. In two games?
No.
Yeah, in the playoffs. In the playoffs. Over. I think Contreras in the whole playoffs. He was clutch in the first series too.
Yeah.
Hold on. Second shot might be Ashby. How much does Wings? That was going to join with video. Nothing.
You come on for free, Cameron. That was going to be my take. I would make a strong argument for Ashby. Yeah, he's been lights out. He's doing the Omen's bird in high pressure situations, and you can't touch him.
Yeah.
Well, I think the Bulls. Honestly, Abner too. Abner's been pretty damn good too.
Well, the whole bullpen. It was it was on zero runs or one run in 19 innings in the playoffs going into tonight, and I think tonight they pulled out five more.
So it's like one run in 24 innings. Yeah, it's it's ridiculous. The whole bullpen. I'm hoping Ashby has been the MVP so far. That's from Don.
He he's thrown the most innings out of the bullpen. He went two. He went back to back, like two innings yesterday, and then another five outs today. Ken says, "I love this team. I love my city.
I won't curse at anyone who cuts me off tomorrow. If they have Brewer decals or plates." Nicole says, "Rocco said you guys are doing good. Big Cheerio fan." Jason says, "The roof for MVP." Perfect timing. Perfect timing. Flat smack says, "I thought Yamamoto was supposed to be good." We can't say that.
This guy kicked the shit out of us last year. He's very good. There's no like, oh, I heard Yamamoto was good. What's this? You heard he was good when he kicked the shit out of us.
He's like eight and one in his postseason career with like a one five ERA or something insane. Um, Buckshot Bobby says, "Cameron, can you explain the nineteen forty sewing machine on your bed stand?" My my my light. What is that? A light. It's just a fancy.
It does look like a sewing machine. It's a it's a light on a nightstand I made in high school.
Okay, the link is up. People are asking if they can come in. The link is up. All you gotta do is go through StreamYard to get in. If you don't do it tonight, we've been doing pods throughout the playoffs.
We'll keep doing these. At some point, should we go further? I am gonna get a little itchy to want to be in a crowd. I am gonna want to be in a crowd, and we'll figure out what to do about that. Maybe just like a park on Blue Mountain, walk down to the parking lot situation.
Have they announced anything for the visiting or the road games? Like, is it going to be the same thing they did for the DS, but in those small little areas? Or because I feel like a situation like yeah, like a beer district would be kind of cool. You know what I mean? Like throw put the bucks aren't anything.
So I mean, throw them, throw throw us there. I'm sure that they will. They're, I mean, those were a success, so I'm sure they'll do something. Yeah, but I haven't. It looked fun too.
The little watch parties looked fun. They looked like a good time.
Well, and watch parties have started popping up. I know Tom Tiffany had one in Brookfield. Tonight. All right, boys. I got to run.
Big Ron, keep buying us that championship. Yes, I'm hedging my emotions, baby. All right, take these boys. All right, yeah. All right, we got Ron and Cameron.
Whoa, whoa, heyo, hee hee hee. There we go, brothers. See my my mess of chords. Uh oh, like that real quick. Oh, okay.
What else do we got? Oh, Pat Murphy talked. Anyone want to know what he had to say? Too bad. I'm gonna do it anyway.
Love it. Q question. What does it feel like going to LA up two zero? He said, "I respect the Dodgers a great deal. They're one of the best teams.
I'm not gonna think about anything besides the next game, one inning, one pitch at a time." Long flight tonight. Get a break tomorrow. Do a little workout.
So I would think that in the back of Pat Murphy's head, and maybe even the front of Pat Murphy's head, I think he thinks it's a matter of when and not if. He they they all they're up two zero, so now it's you got to get on this plane. You got to go to Los Angeles. You know that a lot of times, and this just happened to you in San Diego. They just did this, almost the same trip, the same duration.
They'll be in a plane for four hours. They're gonna get in front of that crowd. And whatever we think of the Dodgers crowd, Game Three crowds down O two, that's a tough environment. And I would, I would love if if they're really gonna if they're really gonna win the World Series. I need a team that wins Game Three.
I need a team that's just like, this is what this. And the Brewers have played all these games. Is it their first non-one run game in these playoffs? Correct, non less than two runs. I think.
Yeah, yeah. I mean, when when the Dodgers scored in that first inning last year in games, we would have said, "Wow, that it's over, over." Yep, yeah. This game's over. It's a different mentality. Not even a flinch, man.
Not even the mentality or whatever. It's just like, when are we going to score again? It didn't even feel like that. Oh, they won by two against the Padres in the clincher. Yeah, anything more than two.
This is the this is the furthest differential. It's only three, but still. And we got Bobby Diesel going in Game Three, man. Bobby Diesel. Uh huh.
It's over. It's over, man. Three zero. If we can get him to go at least five or six, the guy's been the guy's been money the last two months of the season. You know, you gotta give him some credit.
Give him some credit. I want to see people. People in the comments are talking about who's throwing out first pitches coming up. Um, I only want first pitch. They're saying.
Fickle. What if Lafleur? I only want to see people with Brewers affiliation throw out these first pitches. And I saw a great comment today. Like we've had all the Tony Plush has come and thrown a first pitch, right?
Nijer Morgan. All the Brewers. We've had Robin Yount and all these. All these guys. Gomez.
Carlos Gomez is throwing one out. I think. Yeah.
I want like Jeff Demico. I want like Turner Ward. I want like Jose Fernandez. I want Billy Joe Robredo, man. Yeah, Brooks Kiechnick.
I want Chris Magruder. I want just the most. I want Kevin Mench. Kevin Mets with this size, phenomenal, phenomenal pinch hitter. I just want the most obscure.
Yeah, Kirk Newenhayes. Fuck Jesse Winker. Jose Fernandez is dead. I knew someone would be dead. Jose, did I say Fernandez?
Limit Hernandez. Damn, not Jesse Winker though. I want Jonathan Scope. A throw on a first pitch.
So even if I messed up some names in there, John Jaha, Turner Ward—I already say him. That's a classic. I want guys that only Brewers fans recognize. I want you. You want to go to a World Series?
Robin Yount can throw the first pitch any goddamn time he wants. I want people that were a part of the struggle. To throw at the first pitch, Jeffrey Hammond. Give me Jeffrey Hammond. Yeah, Kevin Seitzer.
Kevin Seitzer Orchestra. Yes, that's I. I want Kestin Hira. There you go. Who Craig?
Craig buried his career. Jeff Cirillo. And now we're just naming guys. Role players, yeah, absolutely. But that's who I want throwing out the first pitch.
You think Craig Counsell ever be able to come back and throw a first pitch, Bart? No, no. The Guardians hit a home run. It's two to one in the sixth. What?
Yeah.
Streaming app? Are they playing this on? Ah, it's on TNT and TBS.
Okay. I think. But Brian Ecker. Who is that? Is that Chris?
Is that Chris? Who's behind that account? Brian Eckert. Jesus Christ.
Okay, he was a sports director back at Brian Eckert. Jesus Christ.
Um, but anyway, my point's clear. I want, I want that. Who wants council to throw the first pitch? I'll throw the first pitch if you give forty thousand balls out to the crowd, and we can all throw them at Council while he's throwing the first pitch.
Now make it rocks. Balls are easy. Ron Cameron, and it looks like Q's eating some cheese curds. He's back from the parking lot. Are those chicken nuggies?
Q's got some nuggies. What's up? Oh, you're wasted. That's McDonald's. Yeah, I had a ride.
I got a ride tonight. Um, game two of both series. I was there and we won. Who the who's Cameron? Cameron's.
Oh, he's an OG. He's been here a long time. What's up, Cameron? What's going on, Q? It's been a minute.
My name is Mister Q. You can call me Mister Q. Tell me about the game, Q. Um, so I sat in 1:30 again for good luck. It worked.
Um, it was good. It was a fun game. I might have, I might have had a drink too many, but um, got all my stuff done at work for the week today.
So here we are. Today, yeah, who's pitching the next game? Gasser, but for the Dodgers, Snell. Oh, that guy's old now, isn't he? How old is that man?
He's in the thirties, mid thirties. I feel like he's got to be like thirty-seven. Blake Snell, little spotted, Ron. Oh, how'd you get that? That's New Jersey, baby.
Ron, that is contraband by you. No, you can you can transport it. You just can't sell it. There was a bar here in New York that actually smuggled it into the bar and so resold it, and they got busted by the FBI. Man, I so I've.
Now's only thirty three, by the way. He feels older. I've been to the Kettle of Fish in Manhattan. Yeah, that's a Packer bar. Yeah, they had.
Also, it's also a gay bar when it's not a Packer bar. Just so you know, that's why I got jacked off there. That makes oh, okay. Um, no, just kidding. They did, they did have, they did have.
You know what? When you get an hour into these pods. You can't tell if we won or lost. Who fucking know? You can't.
We won. Who knows? Who fucking know? We're all winners. If you're tuning in now, we won.
We we're we're winners. We're all winners here. Where did the nugs come from, Mickey D's? Yeah, it's monopoly season, motherfucker. We get the orange one like always.
What's the other one? What squares you get? Do an un do an unboxing. You gotta scan them now to an Q. This is their last time they're ever doing Monopoly.
Did you hear that? Why? Because they're canceling it. Thanks, Donald. I love this bringing back the drunk pods.
We need a loaded yeah pod again too. This is how twenty twenty one. This is how we won in twenty one. We did this every game. No, we.
I was that. You're potting till twenty two. You were potting in twenty one. No.
Well, then I just called in hungover as fuck to your podcast, your your radio show, talking to Horvat. Hey, Q. Going forward, my kids listening. Oh, um. Hey, did you see?
Did you see my text I sent you? You see who I ran into? I referenced it. I said you sat behind a guy that was wearing like all gold. No, no, no, no.
I ran into Tim Shea. I ran into the. I sent you a picture. I ran into Tim Shea, and then oh yeah, you did. I and then who's the guy?
Who's the guy that sings "God Bless America" on Sundays? Bob. Yeah, Tim begrudgingly introduced me to Bob. We took a picture with the three of us too.
So thanks, Tim. Anyways, was Tim happy to see you or moderately? Moderately, yeah, as much as one is. I'm going to show the picture on the Dan Shani YouTube stream. Yeah, I think I think people will be able to judge if they think Tim was happy to see you or not.
It does not look like it. He was not. No, I was super grudgingly. Yeah, yeah. I I had contact.
There's Bob right behind you. There's Bob. Yeah, we took a different one with Bob. It was a little bit better.
So. Anyways, go Brewers. Also, I think the fix is in. I'm glad we're up 2-0, but I think the the league's gonna take us out. You listening to Tim too?
Yeah, I got him on my TV, so I gotta go. I got the good stuff on the TV. All right, bye Bart. See ya. Out of here.
Wait, what? What Bart? What is a sensory bag? It says sensory bags available here. What is that?
Oh, I think that's for like if you can't, if you can't like, I don't know. I'm just guessing. If you can't like, if you're deaf or can't or need like, I don't know, something like that. Oh, okay. Sensory bag.
Interesting. Yeah.
Well, that's too bad. That's too bad. He dropped off. I wanted to hear about the kettle of fish Packer Bar in New York City, man. Tom says, anyone see the Monopoly doc on HBO?
It was rigged. I did see it. I saw that too, man. That stuff was one guy like won every time. Yeah, and then he's like his brother won, and then he helped out everyone in his town, pretty much.
What does Q stand for? It stands for quick. Get the fuck off my stream. The the fuck out of here. Oh, it might be for like if you have autism.
Someone said. Maybe no. I'm talking about the sensory bag. I'm not like.
Okay, okay, okay. Oh, like you can put like ear muffins on your ears, and you don't like get freaked out by the the crowd noise or something if you're autistic. Bobby says my son should throw out the first pitch. There, that would be a good first pitch, I think. Buddy, you want to throw out the first pitch?
Hey, let me tell you about my kid. A little dad moment here. Kids, we sign them. We sign them up for everything. He's playing lacrosse right now.
He had a second lacrosse practice. He's playing a little defense. Guy tries to get the ball from behind the net out to his teammate. My son picked it off. Interception with the lacrosse stick.
Second day in his hand. No big deal. Scored a goal tonight at soccer. No big deal. Got a base hit last week in baseball.
No big deal. Beats me every time we play basketball one on one. No big deal. Are you playing on your knees or you standing up for that? Kicks my ass in WWE 2K26 when we do backstage brawls.
No big deal. No big deal. I'm gonna wait here for Tim Shea to jump on. All right, while you're waiting, I got a joke, man. You ready for a joke?
Yeah.
All right, so a man's in the hospital, right? And he's an old man, and you know he's hooked up to a lot of equipment because he's old, you know, and he's like he's got like. Do you just have a joke ready for moments like this, or how does that? Absolutely, I have a can joke ready for moments like this. This is pre pre can Bart.
So there's an old man in the hospital, and he's got like. Respiratory problems, so he's got a gas mask on, right, and it's hooked up to a respirator, right, and the respirator's really noisy, you know, so it's hard to hear him, man. And he's hooked up to all this like heart monitors, and he's hooked up to an IV, and he's really uncomfortable in the hospital.
So he calls the nurse, okay, and you know, so the nurse doesn't come right away, and he gets even more irritated, man, because he's hooked up to all this equipment and an oxygen mask.
So he calls the nurse again. She comes in. She's like, "Mr. Smith, what can I help you with?" And he's like, "You know," and he's hooked up to this oxygen mask, and there's a respirator, and it's really noisy. And he's like, "Are my testicles black?" And she's like, "What?
What are you saying?" He's like, "Are my testicles black?" And so she lifts up his gown. She's like, "No, they're normal. They look fine." He's like, rips off his mask. He's like, "Are my test results back?" That's not a joke. It's more of like a unfortunate anecdote.
All right, with that joke, I'm out of here, fellas.
Okay, I start scaring away your your. I'm out of here. See you later, Ron. What are your thanks, Cameron? Good to see you again.
Good to see you. What are your earliest brewer memories? 1982, man. 19, I was nine years old. I was nine years old.
I totally remember Robin Yount hitting those home runs against the Orioles. I remember. I remember Cecil Coops' batting stance.
Okay, it was like it was it was something like this. It was like lean back, kind of like Ron Jesus, a little bit like that.
Okay. And um, then um, are those your OnlyFans tips going off now that you showed crotch on my stream? Is that what that noise is? Yeah, those are my. Rod gets up, shows his crotch, and his phone starts dingin' like people are paying him.
Yes, that's that's exactly what it was.
So um, send me to the World Series. Send me to Ron's. I remember Cecil Cooper getting that hit.
Okay, in Game Five of the ALCS against the Angels, and he's like this. He's like, "Get down." Get down, man! Get down as he's running the first base.
Okay, and I remember that that was yesterday, and I was sitting in front of my parents' Zenith TV.
Okay, when there was five channels, there was ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, and like Channel Dumont Network, or was that before? It was like Channel eighteen. I don't think Channel twenty four existed in Milwaukee back then, but. It was it was unbelievable, and he's like, "Get down, get down!" And the ball got down, and they went to the World Series, man. And I remember every game of the World Series, and um, ah, if um, like the Brewers won like Game One of the World Series, like ten to one.
They had a three-two lead. Also, they blew a three-two lead. People forget. Yeah, they did. They did, and.
It was it was ridiculous, and Robin Yount hit a bunch of home runs. Paul Molitor went off. They all the all the offensive numbers. Ted Simmons, everyone in the World Series. Cecil Cooper, they were all just crazy.
But because we didn't have Raleigh Fingers, who was injured, and Raleigh Fingers was not. People don't remember that he was not only the defending Cy Young, he was the defending MVP. He won MVP as A relief pitcher in '81. Yeah, the guy was unbelievable, and he was injured. We would have had him.
We wouldn't be facing the ridicule of the Cubs fans, you know, chasing, talking about us, you know, chasing a ring, you know. I'm, I'm thinking because I'm 42. Yes, and the Brewers.
So I was born in '84. Which means I I can't even claim to be alive when they made it. I did not see the Brewers make the playoffs until I was 24.
So you have 24 years of just loving a team for the love of it, and then they start to make the playoffs a little bit, and then they dip again, and then they get into this era now. Where they made the playoffs eight of the last nine years, they win the division, they win a hundred some games.
So, I and a lot of the people that join here have lived through all that. We're all we're all like we're living through that. And then I'm thinking about my kid because the only like. The so other than my age, the other group of people I hang out with are seven and eight year olds, because of my kid and coaching and his friends. And there, he's a big brewer fan.
And there's a like, there's a lot of brewer fans. And I think about myself if I was in second grade when I was so into baseball and still am, but so into baseball, I I did the same kind of shit he's doing. He's writing the standings every day, and I'm just like. If he could get the the Packers won the Super Bowl when I was twelve, and I remember that, and that was great. Seven is just so young, but I really want it for him, even at that young age.
I really want it for him. What sports you got him in other than soccer, Bart? We're trying a little golf. Um, we did flag football. He's doing baseball.
He's doing basketball. Q's back. Eh. Was Tim in a commercial? No, I don't know.
I don't mind you listening to Tim. I just we don't need two things going at once. Oh, that Tim! Ah, no, I felt bad. I felt bad how I exited.
I'm back. That's all right. What have you learned in the last ten minutes? That I can still eat ten Mc Nuggets. What was your order at McDonald's?
Um, I went, so I didn't eat dinner, so I had a Big Mac. I would have guessed that. I would have guessed that pretty easily. I had a Big Mac, a Hi C, a fry, a and a ten piece.
So a McDonald's in twenty twenty six that cost you probably twenty four ninety nine. Uh yeah, and I think I had to tip or some shit. At McDonald's, I don't know. They asked me for one. Um, I went there drunk after a brewer game once, and I ordered two McChickens and then three McChickens.
That was the that was the order I put in that night. One for each finger on my right hand. MC wants to know what you were drinking at the game. Um. So the lining, lining Kugels Barrelman beer.
It's a Barrelman Ale. Is it's good? It tastes like River Westine.
So, um, we'll do three of those and then a couple Miller Lights. A couple, yeah. I have. If you guys are, here's here's some advice. Where's this going?
It's your friend Tim Shay, Timmy. Oh, yes. Why were you so disappointed to see me? I wasn't disappointed at all. I just had a thing going on at the time.
It gets weird when you do stuff, and I just wanted to be in the zone. Were you trying to like? I just get it gets weird. It gets weird. You're trying to sing the juju.
You both look like you've aged five years since this picture was taken. Were you trying to? My God, what the fuck happened? I don't know.
The Brewers. I fucking love it.
Well, so I was, I was deathly, death.
So. For game two of the first series, I was sitting where I was last time in left field, and I was deathly scared of the sun, of the sun.
So I, I like, I was not prepared the first game, and then I was overly prepared for this four p.m. start where there was no sun.
So yeah, Corey says pro tip. Buy, bring some singles, and on the way through the parking lot, offer to buy beers from tailgaters. Always works. That's a good tip. And if you so, if anyone's going there, the rest of the season, left field, second section, the two hundreds, left field in the corner.
There's like one of those. I don't know.
It feels like it's like a tiki setup thing. Oh yeah, and there's tacos up there. There's a guy. It's a square thing. There's a guy with a mullet.
My brother and I called him Patriot because during the national anthem, everyone was like this, but he was like at attention, full attention. She's a vet. He will. I don't think you need to be like, hey, my buddies told me to come say. I don't think he just overpours this one particular guy.
So if you want your double to be a quadruple, that's where you go. Two two tie game guardians. That's where you go. Wait, what section? The left, like two, like two twenty eight, two thirty, two thirty.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Up there.
Okay. That guy with the mullet. He's still there. He will. I mean, get a car.
You're not driving home. One drink. You're not driving home from this guy. Let me tell you, Tim. Yes, there's pretty much been a consensus on the show tonight that we are going to the World Series and winning it.
Do you agree? I just, I'm sure I'm taking one game at a time right now. I cannot look ahead. I'm going to Wednesday.
Well, we don't give a shit about that anymore. All right, we're going to the fucking World Series. The we are. You're going to Wednesday. No, I'm not in LA.
I'm like I'm on the Wednesday, dude. If they play in the World Series and it's against Tampa, I might try to go down there for a game. Because you ain't getting tickets here for less than twelve hundred bucks. Yeah, St. Pete.
Yeah, and I've been to the trop. Little known fact: I was at BJ Upton's first career game. Oh no! Tim Wakefield pitched. Do you know who's thrown out a first pitch at a Rays game before?
Kevin Holden. Why? Yeah, they invited him. I don't know.
Something was he in the Rays Hall of Fame? And that game was a Rays home game in Orlando. I met somebody in like 2006. Um, that was like in the Rays Fan Hall of Fame. Because he lived in Wisconsin, and once a year went down to the Rays game.
I so I don't. What we said though, Tim, was we want we want we don't want the first pitch to be Robin Yel Ben Sheets. Mike Musakis. Mike, we we wanted to be the shitty guys. We wanted to be guys that only real Brewers fans remember.
Why are Musakis isn't shitty? Everyone could yell Moose, man. No, that's the only reason we remember him. What Tim? Where's like Chris Carter?
Or who is that? Chris Carter. Remember his forty home runs? Yes. Yes.
Yeah, Chris Carter. I need Logan Schaefer to throw a first pitch. Yes, yes. Chris Carter, Logan Schaefer. I need Corey Koski, blindfold Corey Koski because he can't see lights anymore, and let him throw a first pitch.
I was supremely disappointed. By Mike Musakis tonight. I'm not gonna lie, because I was the last. Last game two was Niger Morgan. That's like such a huge letdown.
Ricky Weeks Jr. How about um? How about Matt Laporta? Matt Laporta. Monty Harrison.
And all four guys that were in the Yelich trade, I want them throwing out the first fucking pitch. And they each throw two Yelich. Yes. God, we saw this as a walk off. Low Kane's too big.
Cece's too big. No, yeah, I saw. No, I'm not joking. I saw six Low Kane jerseys tonight. I did not know he had that credibility.
Don't you guys? Guys, if the Brewer, if the Milwaukee Brewers. Go to the World Series. They need to be represented by the Milwaukee Brewers, not guys that are. You know, we need to be represented by the muck of the muck.
Dave Milton needs to be throwing a first pitch. Vinea needs to be throwing. Watch Sam Decker throwing the first pitch. I want my doppelganger, Ron Robinson, needs to throw a first pitch. What is Jose Hernandez?
How do we react if Brewers owner Giannis Antetokounmpo throws out a first pitch? Just someone kicked him off. No Giannis. Stop. No.
What? Well, he's a Brewers owner. No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
He's not anymore. No.
No.
Nope. Just stop. I don't even want to hear one more b-word out of you. We don't say that. Sports.
How about Lyle Overbay? Over double bay. Oh, they get double bay. Lyle Overbay. I love it.
I love it. Nice pull there. Nice pull. What about Hank the Dog? The fourth incarnation, I think.
Yeah.
Bonnie Brewer. Wes Helms is a good one. What about JJ Hardy? Wes Helms. Let's get JJ Hardy out there.
Too big. Too big of a name. What? Charlie Moore from the '82 team. If he's still alive.
No one from '82. I want people from 2002. You know who I want throwing out the first pitch in Game One of the World Series. Game One World Series. I want the Euchre family throwing out a first pitch.
Like legitimately. Like widow. You know what? You know what I wouldn't. You know what I wouldn't put past the Brewers.
You know what I wouldn't put past the Brewers? Them doing some like magic show where there is a ball floating on the mound, and it's Bob Uecker's ghost hologram. A string they pull the ball to go into the glove. No hologram. It.
They did it at a uh what Coachella? They had Tupac Coachella. We need Uecker hologram. All right, couple more. Keishnick, the tool shed.
What is going on with Tim? Yeah, Tim Brady Clark. No, I hate Brady Clark. I only hate Brady Clark because he looked like somebody I didn't like. El Caballo, that'd be a great one.
Scotty Pusenick, Scott Pod, yeah, oh yeah. Derek Turnbull, Turnbull, Chuck Freeman. Eucher Stalker, that'd be a good one, yeah. Eucher Stalker, locked on Brewers, baby. Carson says I got Fernando Vina's autograph in Waukesha West, and I was the only one there.
George Cateris, Grand George Cateris hit a grand slam when I was at that game. Who was the one that had the? Cycle Chad Moeller. What about Brandon Woodruff? That'd be fun.
Gagne. Remember when Gagne bought a whole section because he sucks so fucking bad. See, that's the kind of shit that brought us here today, folks. Remember Carlos Lee? Carlos Lee.
What about Vaughn? What about Junior Gara? Vaughn. Greg Vaughn, too big. Bronze Valley, too big, too big.
Junior Guerra, B.J. Surhoff, oh, Junior Guerra, yes, now you're talking. Or Aaron Savali, who got us bond. How about Nate Orf? How about Jeff Suppan?
Suppan pitch great. Suppan pitch great. All right, Cortez. Where we could do this at the bar?
Okay, computer's dying. Boys, great hanging with you and everybody else that's been on here. There's pods, Packer pod, game one pod, game two pod, tomorrow, and then the next pod will be Wednesday after game three.
So we'll be live again. Hopefully Wednesday and Thursday, and then take a few days off. Hey, sweep them. That'd be nice, Tim. We're going to the fucking World Series.
You excited? Tim froze. Tim looks like a. Yeah, it's like it doesn't look like a paint portrait. It's like it's his LinkedIn photo with like him smoking a cigarette, smoking a heater, baby.
Boys, good to see you. Thanks, Bart. Good to see you, Ryan. Glory days. Good to see you.
Glory days. Glory days. Glory days. Q, go to bed. I should go to bed.
Love you guys. Love you. Love y'all. We'll see ya, Tim. Tim.
Timmy. I'm. I'm here. I'm here. Can you hear me?
Yeah.
What's been going on? I don't know.
My phone's either something's going on with my phone.
Well, I'm I'm wrapping up. You got any final goodbyes? All right. I got no, no. Just just keep go out there, play Wednesday, play the game in front in front of you, and.
It's getting, we're getting closer and closer. We're getting closer and closer. Give me a connection to the World Series, because I can't drop fifteen hundred bucks on a ticket. I know, I know. Just let's all, everyone, calm down.
Just one game at a time. All right, all right, boys. Thanks for stopping into the Winklerverse. Shout out to my sister-in-law. Love her.
