Good evening, everybody. Welcome into the Winkler Verse. I am Bart Winkler. It is Tuesday, the twenty ninth of September. It is nighttime.

Typically, Tuesdays are days which we did record. We recorded. Where is it? I don't know. I'll get into that in just a second.

I want to talk some baseball as the playoffs are going on. Currently, watching Yankees and Red Sox. Caught some of the other games today. People complaining about that, which is very hypocritical to other complaints.

So I'm going to get all into that. If anybody wants to join at this unusual hour for a live Winkler verse, you are willing to do that as well. Do see our buddy Mike here. Go Cubs, go! Enjoy the game tonight.

Cubs Padres on the cock on Peacock. Don't be mad at me, YouTube. I'll get into that. There's a lot of technical problems happening in my life right now, and I've had it about up to here. I'm very upset.

Jake says, "Say his name," and he appears. I believe in Bart Winkler.

Some what's up from Shane. Anna, what's up from Bucky? If people want to join, I do put the link on Facebook and YouTube. I was putting it on Twitter. It's too much work.

I don't. I don't like it. A reminder: in the month of September, it's already getting darker. I've been saying that, but we had soccer practice tonight, and I go from five thirty to six thirty, and it was pretty dark at six thirty. And by the time we got out of there at six forty-five, it was almost pitch black.

People are still not used to these. Hours being not so bright, so you do need your lights on when you're driving, when you're on your bike. We're trying to get safety for everybody. The roads are meant for everyone, even though the auto industry basically dictates our whole world. I was talking about Henry Ford the other day.

I said, when Henry Ford made his Model T, did he think that cars would still be the primary mode of transportation a hundred years from now? They really shouldn't be. We thought we'd have flying cars. We thought we would be able to have trains or something. Like we thought we'd be able to get to.

We thought we'd be able to the Star Trek thing where your body just transports. None of that. We're still in the same equipment. Although now some need no gas, and some can self drive. Which I've never been in a self-driving car, and I can't trust that.

I don't like being in the plane because I can't see what's in front of me. There should be an option to see what's out the front window in a plane. I don't want to see what's on the side. I want to know what we're running into. Why can't we see what's in the front window of a plane?

I don't think that you like your TV in the plane. There should be an option. Want to watch Big Bang Theory? Want to watch live sports? That never works.

Want to watch what the pilots see? That's a fair request. I feel right. WisconsinBikeFed dot org. Not for the plane safety tips.

We'll leave that up to Nathan Fielder. The bike safety tips and other things, events. They've got one coming up here. I think the first week of October. They're always out and about in the area.

They do a great job again. WisconsinBikeFed dot org. I don't want to spend a lot of time. I want to get into the schedule stuff. Packers Bears got moved from a three twenty five to noon.

Brewers, we have kind of an idea when the games are going to be this weekend. Talk some playoffs and all that stuff. I don't want to spend a lot of time on the technical problems I've been having because if I heard another host talk like this, I would then complain. Like, shut up, just talk sports. But I'm going to be hypocritical myself, and I should like I put out mmm's on Tuesdays, and there was not.

And today, so where was it? I do feel like I owe at least whoever likes it an explanation. It does seem if I go on Twitter a lot of times, it seems I have more people telling me no one watches your show than I actually have people watching the show. But I don't care about them. If you're in the Winklerverse, I love you.

If you're not, you're missing out, and I can't be focusing. On that, but we recorded it. First of all, I've been having internet problems today. It's very weird. My mail, my Yahoo mail didn't work.

My Gmail didn't work. Spotify didn't work. Every other website worked. The three I wanted did not work. Every other website worked.

My mom's having problems with their fantasy football team. I don't. I don't know if if other people are having weird. It's weird, isolated internet issues that I'm encountering. And for StreamYard, my aim does work, my ICQ does not, but I need to update it.

Um, so I've been having problems with StreamYard. Also, you guys are aware if you've been in some of these post game shows where we have people in and they can't hear us, or I can't hear them. There's been times where I've tried to record with Paul and Grant, and we have echoes before we can get started.

So I've had a lot of issues with StreamYard that have started. Ever since everything was going fine for three and a half years, and then I wanted to add a second camera, so I paid for the higher thing, and then I'm like, "Actually, this doesn't work the way I thought," and I went back down to this level, which is like 500 bucks for the year. And ever since, I've been having a really hard time with StreamYard. To the fact where I'm ready to leave somewhere else, I sent them a very strongly worded care and email. I anticipate their response.

I'll read it live if I get it live, because I not for entertainment purposes, but I'm chomping at the bit for this response, which they also promised me would be here in four hours. I didn't set those expectations. I said four hours or less. No, I didn't. They said you will get an email in four hours or less.

Why set that expectation if you're not going to deliver? Why do they do that? Just don't tell me anything. Make me feel surprised that I even get one. But we taped an episode, and then I logged out of the episode, and then the episode was gone.

So there is a fifty-minute that just got broadcasted for me, Paul and Grant, and I don't know where it is, and I can't get into it, and. I'm really like I was pretty heated about it. I was very heated. I had to coach soccer tonight, so I had to like get back into that frame of mind to not, you know, take it out on the kids. Why did we run so many laps today, Coach Bart?

Because my streamyard didn't work. I couldn't do my podcast. You know, also it is podcast is a word that is like a weird. It's like, oh, you have a podcast. Podcast doesn't sound like podcast.

Like, I got to do my show. Oh, cool! I got to do my podcast. I'm gonna make podcast sound powerful. I'm not gonna say, hey, man, would you come on my pod?

I'm gonna say, I've got a podcast and we need you on it. Podcast. I'm not gonna say pod podcast. This is a podcast. I almost named this the Bartcast.

That would have been lame. I would have been real pissed at myself if I did that. Oh, and I'm trying not to swear because YouTube, all of a sudden, I say one bad word, they think they're the FCC now. They don't want to monetize my stuff.

So I'm having a lot of technical problems, and my Facebook got yanked from me for a day because I posted Joe Hendry video, and the WWE filed a copyright on it. The WWE is the one that gave me Joe Hendry video, and I want to talk about Raw because there's some things that make Raw not as good of an experience when compared to other sports events.

So I want to do all that.

So let's do it. First things first, the Packers Week Five game got moved from 3:25 to noon. I didn't believe it at first. Everybody was quote tweeting this NFL schedule, and not even like a schedule account that I'm familiar with. And I was just shocked that everyone just up and ran with this thing.

And I was really hoping it wasn't true, so I could get a big gotcha on everybody for just believing some random account. Because I thought Week Five, it's Packers Bears, it's a rivalry. They're in the three twenty-five late afternoon window for a reason. I thought I thought that this would be the game. Like, even though you might think Cubs Padres is going to be a better game than Yankees Red Sox, but Yankees Red Sox is getting NBC and Cubs Padres is getting Peacock because it's Yankees Red Sox.

Great to see Caleb Durbin on my TV, but I will say that the Yankees Red Sox rivalry annoys. It doesn't mean anything to me anymore. I don't. I don't like. Yeah, Yankees Red.

I don't care. I'm annoyed. I'm also very annoyed with Houston. I don't like the Astros. I'm glad they lost.

White Sox won, Braves won today. This game's going on Cubs, Padres tonight. But I don't like Houston teams. Maybe it's because I was conceived there. I don't know.

Houston, yes, Houston just has a weird, real weird. Like the Rockets, the Texans, the Astros. I just hate all of their teams. I don't know why. Q joins us, looking as good as ever.

How do you know you were conceived in Houston? Oh, my parents told me. Interesting. Was it? And I kind of did the math because I, I did the math.

I was born in May, and my parents' anniversary is in August, so I backtrack nine months. I'm an anniversary baby. Nice. And they lived in Houston at the time.

Well, happy anniversary, Miss. Do you imagine me as a lifelong Texan? Um, I feel like gingers don't fare well in Texas. I would had to move. Yeah, you'd be like sunburn constantly.

Ginger beard cue. Whatever's left up there is not red. Um, I I don't know what it is, but it ain't red. I'm kind of happy this rivalry game got moved. It's like the Bears finally have one up on us.

And they're they're taking it out of the spotlight. I don't know. Like, I guess you did the national show, but it seems like for the last five years, there's been a lot of pushback on the Bears-Packers rivalry getting jammed down everybody's throat for, like, same with this Red Sox-Yankees, same with um Baltimore and Pittsburgh. I think is another one that people are like, okay, we're kind of tired of this. I think that's been happening.

I agree with you. There, yeah, people. I, I think people nationally are tired of watching the Packers Bears. I do. Yeah, I, I just don't think in in the era of like franchise players and superstars, like rivalries just don't matter as much.

So now the interesting thing about this pushback because it was 3:25 Central.

Now it's noon. Horvat, Horvat's taking the Cubs, series winner and over the Brewers as well. Good luck tonight, buddy. I love you. Yeah.

We'll talk about this later in the week, Matt Lafleur. Is it signed? Did he sign it for you? It does look signed. That's just his stupid coat.

When Ben Brush tried to get that Rogers jersey signed, I'm gonna try to get this picture signed. Honestly, like, we got to do a GoFundMe to get you some signed Lefort merch. Ah no, please don't. I will burn. It will be fire.

It would be firewood.

So the thing about this flex though is, I didn't know you could move games this early. I thought it was like week nine, but they're not flexing us out of a prime time spot and then putting someone else in. There were four scheduled games. In the late window in week five, they didn't take another one and move it to three twenty five. Fox had three of them, and they moved the Packer one.

The other two they have are Lions at Cardinals, so West Coast that's not going to move, and then Niners at Seahawks. And I think what happened is they were trying to figure out their assignments. They were trying to figure out well, we want. Niners Seahawks—that's our premier game. That's where we have to send Tom Brady and Kevin Burkhardt.

But how do we not set? How do we? How do we take away markets from Green Bay Chicago so they put Green Bay Chicago in the first window to maybe get some more eyeballs? It's still going to be with a bunch of other games. But this is this is more about the Niners and Seahawks game being a draw, I think, than it is the Packers and Bears.

Not what is funny to me. As I'm being very hypocritical, how much I've been talking about the Bears, um, but they're really pissing me off.

So I'm gonna is now they're mad at us for being bad. Because now they're good and we're bad, and when we were good and they were bad, the whole nation had to watch. But now they're good and we're probably bad.

Now no one's gonna watch, even though all week they've been taking credit for ruining us.

Now they're reaping what they sow because we're not even worthy for the late afternoon window. And I'm seeing a lot of Bears fans think what's happening here is the National League or the National Football League isn't doing this to punish the Packers. They're doing it to protect the Packers so that they don't have to see. We don't, as a nation, have to watch the Packers be bad. We're actually doing Matt Lafleur and Jordan Love and everybody a favor by hiding us.

None of that is true. Niners Seahawks is the game. That's where they're sending their crew. We think they're going to start Case Keenum. We can't run for more than twenty yards.

It's not going to be a good game. I don't love that it's at noon because I don't like noon games. There's too much going on. I also don't love that people are looking ahead to the NLCS, saying, "Oh, they're." But that's what's happening. I mean, can we go back to Horvat with his yeah, yeah, yeah, with his Homer take that?

The yeah, I I don't who's pitching for the Cubs tonight. Ah, I don't know. Did we ever find that out yet? Are they still bullpen? I have no idea.

So we were talking about that six hours ago. And it's going to be Matthew Boyd. Oh yeah, what was the best question today? Do you even remember? Yeah, we talked about what we think the Packers are going to do in their next five because they have to face a lot of bad quarterbacks, probably.

But we agreed, don't worry about the quarterback because. Against the Buccaneers, if it's Jalen Daniels, like we might think, who's this guy? Jalen Daniels is not bad, and he's the exact kind of quarterback that will destroy us. He can run; he will make us look stupid. We're gonna—it's not going to be easy against the Buccaneers.

I just want everybody to know that. I'll take us to win again because I'm an idiot, but I don't know. And then against the Bears, we probably won't see Caleb. I—I don't know.

So I. I think with the schedule coming up, the Cowboys are in there. I think we win like two of the next five, but I still said we somehow boner our way into a nine-win season when people come back and whatever and whatever. Because I feel like a lot of Packer seasons start out where we all hate ourselves, and then they're going to win three games in a row. We're all going to be back, and then they're going to lose a stupid game.

I just, but I also, Q, I do not care. Because I'm very mad. Guess who I'm mad at? You'll never guess. Packers fans.

Because I'm mad that after the playoffs last year, everyone two years ago after the Eagles beat us, what did everyone do?

Okay, next year's the year. We quickly got over it. We we blow a 21-3 lead to the Bears. What everybody do? Oh, okay.

Next year, Parsons and Kraft.

Now we're one and two.

Now people are saying, "Well, we don't have Jacobs and Parsons, so next we're already on next year." Yeah, I mean, we have become—you Packers fans give too much grace to this team. I think now I know why the '70s and '80s lasted as long as they did is because nobody pushed back. Yeah, they were bad for 25 years, and y'all sit on your ass waiting for Favre to show up. I think we're we're just the anti accountability franchise at this point, and secretly, Bart, between me and you and the rest of the podcast, I am hoping that the Josh Jacobs video comes out sooner rather than later because. I think it's going to rock this franchise, and I don't even know if if Ed Policie will be able to survive that because he put his name behind Goody and Lafleur, who stood behind Josh Jacobs, the crown leader of this franchise, and.

I don't know. I don't know what else it'll take for those guys to have some sort of accountability or reckoning. And there's some pretty hideous sound bites.

So I mean, it won't be good for this team when the video comes out. But I think it'll be a step back to take a step to look in the mirror and take a step forward. As as a franchise, so it just seems to me with them having like their first three weeks of a low rushing total in 90 years, and how they cannot move the football. That no matter what was done or what we will see, this is a case where they are putting football over life and. If Josh Jacobs, what Josh Jacobs, he is the offense.

It looks like that's what I'm seeing through three weeks.

So they're doing whatever they can to save themselves, and it's a risk that they're taking. Again, I don't know what we're going to see if we're going to see it. I would guess at some point, maybe we don't see it, but people that need to see it are going to see it. And I think there's going to be a suspension. I don't know why it's taking so long to figure this out.

I mean, so somebody was saying that it takes two weeks to actually get a copy of the video into the NFL's hands. Like, there's a review process.

So, what? How does it take two weeks?

So they just filed over the weekend to get, like, make a request for the video. Like, the court system takes so long for everything.

So, um. You guys founded a country with due process. I was fine worshipping the king in England, but you guys had to come over here and take stolen land. That wasn't on my accord. I'm English.

I'm English. Actually, is what I am. Nice. I was fine staying over there, but. Um.

Yeah. Did last question about. Were there any Bucks related questions because of Media Day? Or did you guys gloss over that? Um, we did touch on it a little bit.

It doesn't matter. I could just lie to you because the tape is gone. Do you have thoughts on Media Day that you want to bounce off me? Not, not really. Like I, I like the we're not rebuilding, we're building, and then, um.

But yeah, I don't know. I'm. I'm not really holding my breath, but change was needed in the Bucks organization.

So we got that this season with the the big trade of Giannis. But it feels like there's a new reckoning brewing in Wisconsin sports, and it's up in Green Bay.

So would you you back to Jacobs? Yeah. Oh, because you were talking Bucks, and then you just I switched it. You did the one two on me. I did the old one two over here, and you went over there.

Yeah, so I'll let you get back to your. What are you doing tonight? You're gonna watch the Cubs? I don't know. We'll see.

We'll see if I can make it another 25 minutes till first pitch. Do you like the Doomsday scenes? I haven't watched them yet.

So I before you popped on, I was I I'm not up to date with lanterns, and I've been watching. I love lanterns, dude. Yeah. So lanterns is kind of weird week to week. I think yeah.

I would recommend after it's over, I'd recommend people watching it in one spurt. And yeah, it's it is kind of an interesting show. The storytelling is like so different than what we're used to with Marvel. I like Lanterns so much that I went and watched Supergirl and Blue Beetle just for. S's and G's is is Supergirl worth watching?

No, Supergirl is a good movie. If you want to fully know the character, it does a good job establishing who she is. But as you're watching Supergirl, you know to yourself, this is like, if there's ever a time where it's like, okay, DC, here are the projects you need to watch. Supergirl will be the first one you skip. It has nothing to do with anything.

Nice. So Clark Kent does a FaceTime, and we're all like, "Ooh, Superman!" That's about it. Do you want to say hi to Jake since he just popped in? Yeah, I like when you two. What's up, Jake?

What's going on? You got a thick beard, there, buddy. Yeah, it's getting time to trim it down. I think it's looking fierce. What's what's good?

It's an honor to be on the the backup plan show. This is the backup plan tonight. Yeah, I love it. I wouldn't have it any. I didn't have to do one at all.

I could have just done one tomorrow. That you set the expectation. But I have so much to talk about too with the schedule and stuff. Sure. And media day, just to wrap that up.

Q.

Okay, did you hear the bizarre media day question that they gave Tyler Hero?

Okay, that guy's been there before. I don't know who he is. I don't know, but he—I've been there when he's asked a really stupid, weird question. It sounded like something Freeway would ask, or something like it was just very. It was not Freeway.

It's a guy I don't know what he works somewhere, but I don't. What was the question? I missed it. The question was: Do you think the Avengers will win in Doomsday? To Tyler Hero, and he goes: No, no, no.

What movie? It was like a very drawn-out question. He had to put a lot of context into the question, and Tyler Hero looked confused as hell. Tyler Hero, if you think white kid from Greenfield, Tyler Hero is not the one that's watching Avengers Doomsday.

Okay, he is—he's—he's a white kid from Greenfield, but he's also—he's also a Tyler hero from Miami. He's—he ain't watching Avengers somewhere. He ain't watching no Avengers. Tell you that he ain't us. He—he's not getting on a podcast eight o'clock to talk about Doctor Doom and WWE.

Okay, he ain't that white. Hey, I'm a little bummed out, man. I um, are your parents the like just the the bone once a year kind of parents on the anniversary? That's a bummer. I don't know that.

Get them on. Don't want to get them on. Let's ask them. I'm gonna go now. How do you infer that, guys?

Bye, Q. Anything goes. I'm not defending, or you can ask my mom. You two are tight. I do love your mom.

Your mom is great. How's she doing? Doing not good. She can't get into her fantasy football team. Yahoo locked her out.

Oh, she's having like computer issues or something. Yeah, we're having a hard time. Does she need help? If you want to go down to Florida, they're back. I'm pretty good with computers.

I'm gonna be in Florida in a few weeks, so I'm sure I'll give her your number. I'm surprised she hasn't asked already. Oh boy! I've got other things to talk about. I do want to talk wrestling with you for a sec.

Yeah, go for it. Because I want to talk about the experience of going to a show. Yeah, that was a good show yesterday. I at least from a viewy, I thought it was a good overall solid show, and the ending very reminiscent of the Attitude Era, where it was just like chaos. Did you go, or you didn't go?

Did you? No, I just watched it.

Okay, so here's the problem with going to a raw. Or WWE televised event. The problem is when you go to a sporting event, you feel like you're a part of the atmosphere and the action. I felt like a TV extra, is what I felt like, because they do such a poor job of. First of all, the sound quality was terrible when we were hearing promos.

You had to like really listen because the microphone quality was brutal. Yeah, in the arena, and you never know when they're on commercial and when they're not.

Now, if you're a big wrestling honk, you can figure it out. Like, oh, they're both down on the floor. This is probably when they take a commercial. Or sometimes when there's a commercial, like I think Io Sky went like. She gave like a.

It might have been Lyra.

Somebody, somebody was doing gestures to like Wade Barrett that they would not have done on TV, because you know house shows are looser and stuff and stuff like that. But there's no. You don't know when you're in a commercial. You don't know any of that. They have a lot of people there backstage.

Like, La Night did come out after the fact, but Chad Gable's doing a backstage. He doesn't come out. It's so weird why these guys won't all just come out. It just felt like you are. I don't think that anybody cares about you as a fan.

Clearly, they just want your money. COVID proved that they need us, all sports, but WWE certainly does not care.

Well, I think a big distinction. This when Royce and those guys came in, though, it was right by where we were sitting. That's cool.

So my son was right over the thing, and I thought we'd be on TV, but they took that shot a little later. I gotcha. Because they came through the crowd. A big distinction is like back in the day. Like you'd watch Raw, and it was played up for the crowd that was there, so the crowd was super, super into it.

And now Raw is played for the television audience; everything is played to the camera, not to the crowd.

So, like you kind of said, you are kind of the event opened with the screen going, "Do do Netflix." Really in the arena? Yeah, that's and and they didn't show the commercials that they would show. But there's like four minute breaks. You could easily have Chad Gable come out and say, "What's up, Milwaukee? Thanks for coming out." Anything.

Instead, they're playing clips of Stephanie McMahon's podcast, and the clips weren't even with like wrestlers. It was one with Mr. T, one with Pittsburgh Steelers legend James Harrison. My kids like is that a wrestler? I'm like, I think that's James Harrison.

That's why I go to WWE shows. I want to hear about the latest podcast happenings. No, it's um, it's different. The action was good. The matches, I think, were good.

The Dom, yeah, great wrestling. Dom match was a great match. Very wrestling centric show. I think. I think the Milwaukee crowd was good.

I like that the crowd was invested and into it. Um. Because a lot of times American crowds are terrible.

Well, let me let me say this: How on earth? Like, do you remember a few weeks ago they think they were in Georgia and they're like, "Hey, look, it's famous Georgia YouTube comedian." Oh yeah, that guy Matt something. Yeah, that nobody knew, and they did a whole angle. But then you come to Milwaukee, the Miz is front row. How do you not do something with Miz and the Miz?

Like, I know he's on the other show. The Brewers must have said no, dude. Ridiculous! You can't even have the Miz though, because he's on SmackDown. But it's Miz and Miz.

That's what I'm saying. And I don't love that Seth Rollins is on Raw, but he's at the Bears game. Yeah, I mean, and I'm tired of Seth Rollins on Good Morning Football. I'm just tired of Seth Rollins in general. Doesn't do it for me.

Yeah. What else you got?

Well. I wanted to talk about this. is absolutely insane to me.

Well, first, minor thing you're talking about the rivalries being shoved down your throat. It's like when I was a kid, it was the greatest thing ever was Sports Center because I I knew so much about sports as a kid because I got to see every highlight or every game had highlights and you would get to like know who the players were. But now the way that the sport is covered. It's only those types of stories that are covered.

So yeah, of course people are going to get sick of it. But the thing I want to talk about most, because it's it's this is insane to me that this is not just the story everywhere was Trevor Lawrence throwing the game, or at least like you know throwing the the spread. There's no other explanation, and it was blatant. It had the same energy. That Malik Beasley had when he was trying to get that ball so he could go get that you know nothing layup at the end.

He said he wanted to get tooting a touchdown for fantasy owners, which is I just still bad. No, I that is such a a BS excuse. Like because again, when he stopped, there was panic there. You can see it. Like he realized, like oh no, there's nobody here to stop me.

What do I do? But he's making sixty million dollars. What is he doing on the side? Malik Beasley, same thing. You know, he cost himself probably at least a forty million dollar contract.

You know, being one of the best shooters in the league, but it's there that was so blatant to me, and nobody's talking about it. And I think I know why, because the NFL rules the world, so you can't risk, you know. Putting the league on blast there, but that was clearly point shaving. Like, what would have happened if they would have fumbled on the one yard line? It's, I don't know what it was, and if I err on the side of caution, like you see a lot of football guys go down when they don't need to.

It got drilled in their head: go down, don't. But then they score the next play with nine minutes left. Right, that's egregious. Yeah. So the NFL, whether they've put themselves in a position where you have to defend things that you wouldn't have normally had to defend, but you do need.

It can be the most innocuous thing in the world. You do need to answer. Like you need to pre-answer. Don't let us ask questions. You need to be like, okay, there was a situation.

This happened. You can't. Yeah, I agree. And well, and here's the other thing: I've yet to see. Like, was there like a post game press conference?

Did anyone ask him about it? Like, did anybody push him on the issue? Because it's just this is swept under the rug like it's nothing. Whereas Malik Beasley probably intentionally missed a few shots, or you know, and that was a huge, huge story. I know, and I still don't know what was up the one time with Gary Payton.

Remember Gary Payton too, where he was like, "Oh yes," and all the step and those guys were going crazy. Oh, speaking of all of this, why is Draymond so concerned with what the Bucks are doing? He's talking about Gary Trent, he's talking about Tyler Hero and TJ Ford, which was a cool thing for all of us. He's crapping on that. You know everybody.

Keep my quarterback's name out your mouth. You know everybody has that one friend in the friend group that like he's the contrarian.

So I don't know what the context was. I'm guessing somebody on some podcast was like, "Oh, that was pretty cool what Tyler Hero did." No, it wasn't. That was corny. That was stupid. Like he's just that kind of guy.

He needs the attention. He needs to push things. Like, do you remember he wanted to fight OJ Mayo because OJ Mayo touched his head? He's just a weird guy. Yeah, I don't, I don't like that.

I don't like how people really want to see the Bucks go down for Gary Trent. Because I'll remind people, we are already being punished by paying Gary Trent. This is true, but like it would be the most Bucks thing ever to get all these picks for Giannis and then immediately have to relinquish them in order to try to keep Giannis by keeping Gary Trent of all people. And like we had to do this under the table deal to keep them like that. I mean, that's to me that's pretty blatant what was happening there.

I think that there's going to be a penalty. It's it's pretty wild. Like the precedent is here. The Joe Smith deal back in I think 2000. They took five first round picks from Minnesota for something almost carbon copy to what's going on here.

So I think Bucks fans need to prepare for something because that's that's not over. I was going to, as I sit here on the Dan Shani YouTube stream with my friend Hot Take Jake, I did put up the Lafleur picture. I put up this is baseball pins from like the early 90s. That's cool.

This I had to. I put this Packers 90 thing up because I can't have something here that's glossy, or the ring light hits it. This stays the Brewers thing. I do want to put up. I want to.

I want to put up this Wisconsin map. I think is baller. See the ring light and my TV. I'm watching the game. But I also have that Giannis thing where they won the title, and I.

I love Giannis. We'll come back. Whatever. I don't want any part of him while he's gone. I hope he fails in every way.

I want him to fail so bad. Yep. I've got heat fans, you know. Every fan base finds me. I don't get it, but I've had people coming after me for my Giannis hate, and I don't understand.

Box fans, yeah, like, oh, how could you? You know, I saw him on another Calci commercial. Like, it's it's in just over a year. It should be studied how much someone's image could take a turn, like. From being so likable to being so incredibly unlikable in every way, I I really am proud of my line.

Giannis Adedikunpo turned into Giannis Incorporated, and I wish that that became like more mainstream because that's what it is. He is a business now. He moved here. LeBron. Oh, I heard the chapter leaving after Sixers practice.

We gonna have to hear that all year. God. That's gonna blow up, but I've I said it about Giannis, for years I said this about Giannis that I loved that so much about him was about loyalty, and like I love the Bucks and it's like this is great, but the caveat here is, you have to be true to to this.

So if you leave, you deserve all the criticism you get for leaving, and not only that, the way he left, to make it like. Please, we got to make this like I didn't want to leave. The Bucks wanted to trade me. Like it's so annoying. Just be a man.

And I don't think Giannis ever grew up in many many aspects. Let's say I got a job at six seventy to score in Chicago. Like I did. Please, I hope that happens. Bridges or whatever.

I can't. It'd be it'd be against everything I've ever said. I respect the hell out of that.

Now, this offer is also imaginary; doesn't exist. What's the number? What's the number? Everybody's got a price, as the the great Ted DiBiase once said. Because I I know I still get crap for not being on the radio or whatever.

This is what I do, though. That I like this. It's a community, whatever. I like it. I this is it.

This is this is where I belong. I think right now, I do. The content is so much better than the radio, too, buddy. And if I left and went, I don't even go back. Even if I got a job in Milwaukee, I don't even know that I want to go back to the radio.

I feel like I would be bailing on people. You'd be handcuffed. I think you're a peacock that needs to fly. Yeah, no doubt. We got live shows all weekend, baby, with the Brewers.

We're doing live. Hell yeah, I'm excited for that. Like, I am so bummed with no Brewers right now. I don't know what to do with myself, and I'm not like it could easily be construed as I'm just it's a hot take here that I'm I'm I'm trying to edge Lord here. I might be out on football.

The product is so. I'm not out on football, but one thing I was telling Grant on the mysterious that never got posted. Maybe we didn't even do it, and I'm just lying. We did it. I'm very pissed.

I'm enjoying college more than the NFL, even though, like, if college gives me five games at once, if the NFL gives me five games at once. I can't. I'm like I need. I have a need to know what's happening in the NFL. Not for fantasy.

Not for gambling. Not for any of that. I just need to know. After the fact, I spend the whole week like looking at box scores. I need to know.

I just need for college. I just enjoy to know. Like, oh, I'll turn on this game.

Now I turn on this game. Oh, they came back. Who scored? I don't give a sh. I don't care.

Well, I think what happened, and also I don't know. I I really get into the college stuff with the rankings, and college doesn't schedule like some games are on TV. We know Ohio State Michigan is going to be an 11 a.m. kickoff, but college every two weeks they schedule the games based on how people are doing.

So you don't have to get flexed out because you're never flexed into anything. And I think that's fascinating. I'm a fan of that. I'm a fan of. What Big Ten game is going to be on NBC?

What's going to be on CBS? Which game is going to be the SEC two thirty? What game is going to be after dark? Like, I'm a fan of that. I'm just enjoying college more, as I just am.

I don't know. It's weird, but the NFL, yeah, I'm watching. I'm watching some of these games like Sunday night, and I don't know. I'm thinking, okay, it's got to be the fourth quarter, five minutes left, twelve minutes left in the third. I'm like, what is happening?

Yeah, well, for me, I think this was the first weekend that I can ever remember that I did not watch any NFL. I didn't watch any. Like, I watched highlights. I saw some clips on my algorithm, but I didn't sit down on the couch and watch a single down, which is crazy. But I think there's a lot of things going on here.

Number one, I've had this theory that once the concussion stuff came out, it was going to take a long time. But eventually, you're going to see the quality of play decline because the talented kids weren't going to be playing football because their parents weren't going to let the kids play football.

So slowly but surely, it's you know ten, fifteen, twenty years after all the concussion stuff got real, we're going to start to see the talent level decline. The officiating has gotten so bad and so uneven. I don't. Well, they overcall things. They overcall things.

Yeah, I think that it's like. A penalty and a half more on average per game, which doesn't seem like a lot, but when you extrapolate that to the amount of games, it's a lot.

So it's like the it's frustrating anytime there's any momentum. It seems like the over officiating can kill it. I don't. You talk about college. That's one thing that I really love about college.

They have the officiating down, where almost everything's reviewable. It comes from upstairs. There's no guys on the field reviewing anything, and it's done like that. They just, hey, was that really a personal foul? Was that really 15 yards?

We looked at it. It's not. We pick up the flag. That kind of stuff is great. But then I also think there's been this question with the NFL is.

Can they oversaturate the market because the NFL is king? And I think their goal was like, eventually we're going to get it every day of the week. There's going to be an NFL game. It's too much. I think we're finding out that yes, you can oversaturate the market because I feel like it's a few people I've talked to, yourself, some other friends of mine that are just like, I'm just not feeling the NFL this year.

That can't be a good thing. Like it's only going to get worse from here. I believe, in my humble opinion. Yeah, that's a good point about concussions because we know some of the guys that retired, like Chris Borland and Luke Kuechly, and some of these guys that retired early. But there could be a whole crop of guys that never just played, and we don't even know about him.

If there was a different timeline, we have no idea.

So that's a good point. Yeah, I mean you're a soccer guy. My again, part of my theory was not only was the NFL going to get worse because the talent level. Those kids are gonna start playing soccer, and more kids are gonna play basketball, and maybe a little bit more baseball. But that's a very tough sport because lots of different.

I'll tell you around. I at least around Shorewood, dude. Baseball is the sport. Yeah, so I think those sports, the quality is gonna improve, and you know, with not only okay the over officiating, but I think safety rules are gonna become even more of a thing. You know, eventually are they going to get to the point where quarterbacks are going to have flags rather than like you can't tackle them?

Like it's it's that's. I mean, the quarterback stuff is bad. Yeah. Um. So I don't know.

I don't know. I could be wrong, but I don't. I don't think it's looking good for the shield, for the long term prognosis. Good to see you, buddy. Yeah, love you, pal.

Love you too. Hey, great interview with Joe Hendry. That was phenomenal. Everybody should listen to it. Awesome dude, great!

I wasn't trying to. I said you. He basically the biggest pops of his career were at the beginning. No, that was a valid point. I don't want to like.

How do you chase that? Sure. No, that was good stuff. Everybody, check it out. It's worth your time.

Appreciate you, Jake. Oh, one more thing. Who you got winning money in the bank? Who's in it? You got Punk, Javon, Punk, Javon, Punk, Penta.

Somebody coming up this Friday. Yeah, they think they got to figure out. It's probably gonna be Cody in there. Him and Punk will kind of erase each other. I'm feeling Penta because I've I've been out on like the Luchadors forever.

Penta's cool though because it's been like Sin Cara and Mystico. Oh, they tried for years to get. We need this new Ray Mysterio. Yeah. But Penta has broken through.

Yeah, he's got something. The crowd and the way they did El Grande Americano, and it was a horrible decision. But then now it like played out in their wildest dreams. And Ray Phoenix is fun to watch. Dragon Lee's fun to watch.

Yeah, Penta. That match with Roman was great. Maybe match of the year. I give it to. I want to see.

I want to see. Braun would be a good candidate. Oh, Braun, yeah, Braun's in there too. He's probably the the Vegas favorite. I like how he's trying to get Paul Heyman's favor.

Wouldn't we all? But Oba last night, Oba said something about Heyman. That yeah, he snuck it in there. I think that's a red herring, though. That would be a mistake.

I like that. All right, buddy, good to see you. I love you, pal. Hot take, Jake. Our thanks to Hot Take Jake and Q for both coming on unprompted here and joining us.

If you're like, how do these people get on the Winklerverse? They just they just use the link and come on. I do want to shout out somebody here as I remind you. I want to shout out Dr. J as I remind you about Happy Place Ham.

Promo code is Bart, twenty five percent off each and every order. HappyPlaceHemp.com. Look at this haul! This is on the Dan Chaney YouTube stream. Look at this haul that he got.

Thanks to Happy Place Hemp and Bart, stocked up for a long anniversary weekend up in Copper Falls State Park area. We have, I think, this box has four four packs of the twenty meg mixed berry seltzer, plus the gummies, plus the ten gummies. I mean, this is a haul. This this this is a long weekend. Wow, what an order!

And it's all twenty five percent off.

So you can get an extra pack. You can get an extra thing of seltzers. Twenty five percent off. The promo code is Bart. Each and every order at HappyPlaceHemp dot com.

And thank you, Jay, for using that code. When shopping, some comments from the last thirty minutes, Forest. Forest, I want to tell you, I've been on with Matthew Collar, and he's been on here, and we'll get him on again. But I love, I love Collar, and and we come on. I know he might reference this show, and he's on with Grant a lot, and I reference him from time to time at Purple Daily.

He does an awesome job. He is the go to Vikings guy. I think. Well, certainly for me, but for anybody, should be.

So we'll do something again with him in the future. Packers signed some offensive linemen this week. We might get another one.

Okay. Good luck. Warm body theory at play here, but it is better than nothing. This wouldn't be a situation that they'd be in if the offensive line was good. I don't understand for the life of me.

How Brian Gutekunst is so willing to draft Jordan Love, have it awkward with Aaron Rodgers for three years, pay Jordan Love fifty-five million dollars, and then set him up to fail? I don't get it. This is a terrible offensive line. And then he's tried to commit resources, and you draft a guy that. Can't play, and you sign a guy that can't play.

Nobody. You want to talk about? You want to talk about a contract that should be investigated? Aaron Banks' contract is a lot more egregious than Gary Trent Jr. That's the criminal act, if any.

I'm very excited about my thing about the '70s and '80s Packers. I'm gonna tweet that out.

Someone, Brent, talking about the iguanas. Get the iguanas out when he gets to Milwaukee. We should all bring iguanas. Giannis is just trying to redo his greatest hits in Miami, and it's very frustrating to watch. You know, like when you have a girlfriend in high school, or then maybe you have another girlfriend.

The next girlfriend you take to your old, you take to your old date spots. You try the same jokes. You try the same moves. You try to, and it's fine because new girlfriend doesn't know any better. She doesn't know that you're rewracking some of your greatest hits, but we can see it, and it's embarrassing.

That's the word I use right now, Giannis. I don't blame him for wanting to find something different. I won't be blaming him for that. That's a human thing, but it is embarrassing that he's like trying to be humble, joyful Giannis again. He's trying.

He's like trying to be nineteen-year-old Giannis and win everybody over the same way. I just I don't like it. Tim Shea, hi Bart. Into the Winkler verse. Good to see you.

I recorded and Streamyard did not save it, and so here we are tonight instead. I'm very pissed. All right. Oh, I like. Yeah, yeah.

I'd be pissed too. I am pissed.

Sorry, I'm just looking. Last time we talked, you printed out that picture over your. Yes.

So just see. Yeah, I do. I do. And framed it too. Very nice.

Yeah, it's a one of the. I went to a rummage sale recently, and they were selling a bunch of these frames for fifty cents. Ah, all right. And I have a lot of Sports Illustrateds that I was going to put in the frames. That's why I bought them.

Gotcha. And I was going to put them all behind me, and then they like don't fit. Oh, like they're too small. That was not my best story. Can you edit that in post?

I got, I got you. Yeah. What are you thinking? What are you up to? Not a whole lot.

I don't even know what you've been talking about tonight. I just literally saw on Facebook your little live thing, and I was like, oh, okay.

Well, while you're here, I do want to remind people that Tim and I, and speaking of Giannis, I'm going to get this set up probably next week.

Okay. As we're getting closer. We're on episode seven fifty four. Ooh, okay.

So Pato's helping us count to seven seven seven. Lucky sevens. Yeah, the lucky sevens.

Now I want to get the Pato sooner rather than later because I have a twenty dollars free play. Lucky, I still only have five. No, I got from the Brewers email. There was an email.

Well, the Brewers have. I get like partner emails, like every like three times a year they send you an email for twenty bucks a bottle.

Okay, why am I on that list? I don't know. How? I think like when I filled out something once, I clicked the box that said yes, I want to hear from your sponsors. There you go.

So people should do that.

So I want to make this bucks over twenty six and a half. Bet, but I don't want to wait because I could do it at our seven seven seven show, or you and I are going to watch the Heat Bucks with a couple people. But I want to do it sooner because I'm worried the Bucks are going to win a bunch of games and then the the over goes up. Yep. So I got to get it in.

All right. I feel very good that they win more than I think they're going to be bad still, but not that bad. You sure? We haven't talked about the Badgers. I know, dude.

You didn't respond to my text. Yeah, I did, didn't I? I don't know. I think I did. I think I replied back with like a holy.

Nope. I texted you at eight oh six. I said we're so back. You know what? I tweeted my response to you.

I don't know why. I said, "How about them Badgers?" Oh, okay. Yeah, we are so back. We are very back, just in time for homecoming. I was, I think a lot of people had the same feeling about that game.

Like, yeah, I'll see what's going on.

So i I took a nap Saturday. Um, when the game started, so I had the game on my phone. I was like in and out, and I got by the time I got up, they were down like ten nothing. Yeah, and I was like, whatever. I'll just keep monitoring the situation.

My family and I—we were watching Traders on NBC. We like Traders.

Okay, so we're watching that on the DVR, and then I saw it was twenty to ten, and I'm like, "Okay, I had it on Peacock on my phone." Yeah, they score this touchdown. I like fell off the couch. I couldn't believe it. I because a lot of people did.

Well, it was such a great moment. If you're a team that is struggling. To get any sort of good, you can't find a single moment of good. You hit a wide open tight end, slowest tight end on the planet, who's got the whole field, and he's just jogging out there. Then a guy runs up to him and just stiffs arms him down, like not today.

To have that moment, then I thought there was a flag. Oh no! Yeah, but it's on Penn State, and then they kept them out of the end zone. I don't know what's going to happen this weekend. It was just they should win this weekend.

It was just very cathartic. Yeah, and it's the like it's the latest in a season I've been into the Badgers in the Luke Fickle era. Oh, that's so sad. It is because it's only week four. I'm turning on Cubs Padres.

I just turned it on too. Finally, a stadium that's sold out. I've been to the stadium this year. I went to the Padres game with Giants. Padres Giants.

Yep. First week of the season. Stadiums weird. Wave those towels.

Sorry. Oh, they waving. Yeah. They prompt you, you know. They they do the same thing over at Miller Park.

Like everything in the stadium is in the first level.

Okay. So imagine a Miller Park where any pro shop, basically any restaurant, it's like all in the first level. What's in the upper deck? Just stairs to the lower levels. There's no like concession stands even.

You kind of have to go down. Ooh, bathrooms. Yeah, not as much. And it looks like at one point, if you walk around Petco, you don't even realize there's a baseball stadium there. You're like, I'm just in a strip mall in San Diego.

It's really weird. It's different. It's as different as a park as I think I've ever been to.

Okay. Besides Soldier Field, which is an atrocity inside. That is, uh, yeah. That's. Oh, one thing that they used to have is you used to in the outfield be able to like go into the park on off days.

Can you not do that? No, it's a ticketed area.

Okay. It's called Gallagher's Way. Even I'm really an expert on things I've done once. That at Wrigley, yep. Padres is called something else.

God, who is Gallagher anyway? The watermelon guy. Why did they call it like Ronnie Woo Woo Way? Tom says Petco feels a lot like Coors. The higher you go, the less amenities.

Us pores are spoiled at Miller Park. Yeah, I mean there has to be like, if you're in the 400s, there's a lot up there. I have literally right behind my section the five dollar beer, the hams, hams. Yeah, there's a lot up there. There is.

There's a. You're living good in the 400s. I know what Padres mean. I'm wondering about Gallagher. Who's asking what Padres means?

No, you were. You were trying to the park. What was the park behind center field? That's what you were trying to figure out. San Diego Petco Park.

Park. Park area. Woo! Down goes PCA. One, two, three!

Strikes! It's called Gallagher Square. Oh, okay.

I was right. You were right. And Cubs have Gallagher way. Yeah, I don't get it. Oh, it's sponsored.

Gallagher's a sponsor. Oh, okay.

It's all. It's all that is. Gallagher's a sponsor. Damn, PCA! He was owned in that at bat.

Should we just live stream the game? Should we just do the game for the next three hours? If you're in the area, come on down. There's still a couple tickets left open. Alec Brugman takes strike.

You can be Harry Carey, and I'll be your Steve Stone. All right. It's the two-one count on Regan King with the windup. Oh, you're ahead and the pitch low and inside. That'll be strike two on the Cubs' third baseman.

Rally tells us tonight, Petco Park is loud for the two-two. Swung it a miss. He took the blown away pitch. Oh, how does Bregman look? By the way, have you looked?

The swelling's down. Do it as Paskey. Do it, and I'll be, and I'll be. McLaughlin. All right, now if you get two runs here in this inning, and then two runs again, and then welcome to Peacock Sports.

I'm Bart Winkler, longtime Simsy. We've got the San Diego Padres and the Chicago Cubs here for you on Fox Sports Midwest. No, no, no, no, no. My twenty-four. There's a game Monday.

Are you looking forward to that? I'm. Jack for the Buck season. Why? Gonna be fun, dude.

Roster cuts are gonna be tough. They got a loaded training camp. We should have gone to media day. I couldn't. I had to go to the dentist.

Okay. Look at this. Clean bill of health. Did you ever look at my teeth prior to this? No.

There was a lot of plaque. Sack plaque. I mean, like. A lot, yeah. Like I probably, if I was out in the desert stranded, I probably would survive one day longer just off eating the plaque that was in my gums.

How I imagine Milwaukee's gonna be this this game here on our asses. Yes, we are. No, we are on our feet. They're all sitting down. I thought people.

We no. That's what's causing that plaque. I'm jumping stories left and right here. That Mountain Dew. Oh yeah, she said I didn't have any cavities.

That's crazy. I know. All right. Did you talk anything about the Packers? Or game got moved?

Yes, we saw that. Oh, I wanted to say this earlier because it's consequential to the show, but we will be doing lives. I will be at least probably after every Brewers game. I can just like go to one. I could join you.

I don't have plans right now to go to one. Um, I am going to save some money in case. I do think it feels different. This season feels different. We're going in with good vibes, which is rare.

Didn't who who had the flu and lost ten pounds? Andrew Vaughn. I am not worried, but also last year my main motivation was to get as drunk as possible for every game. Big mistake. I don't have those motivations right now.

So I would like to do post game.

So Saturday, if the Cubs win this series, did you see any of this yet? Yeah, I did. Yeah, yeah. If the Cubs win this series, the Brewers will play Saturday on Fox at three o'clock. If the Padres win the series.

They will play Saturday on FS1 at 7:30. You have a preference? I mean, 7:30 would be fun. That's you get a really amped up crowd. I would rather.

I want to play the Padres. Sure. First of all, I don't want to do back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back. Home run! God, you're ahead of me.

Now, should I show the replay, or here? Here's the audio. Can I play the audio? No. PCA thought he had it.

There it is. Oh wow! One thing Grant told me is. In the episode that never aired, is that he remembers me in 2018 rooting Cubs Rockies, rooting so hard against the Cubs because my take was I just want the playoffs to be about baseball. I don't want it to be about the rivalry.

I want to talk about the matchups. I don't want to talk about the anything else. I just want the match. I want to talk about a baseball series between the Brewers and the Padres, because if the Cubs beat us, last year's win against them is gone. Doesn't matter.

Our hundred three win season doesn't matter. They already erased last year's win from us anyway because we held the L flag and then lost four in a row. Did that? What? Nothing.

Keep going. I was done, and then you started, and then just stopped. I was going to say that go off his glove. I think it did. I thought he caught it at first.

Um. Yeah. I. Those are all very good. Thoughts, and I agree.

I agree.

So we're gonna get to seven seven seven quicker if I'm doing weekend shows. Oh, okay.

Deep fly ball, Manny Machado, Manny home run! Oh, these are seriously my old time favorite baseball player, Sturridge again. All right, here comes the audio. Woo! Hey, Padres team looks pretty good.

Maybe I don't want to play them. That ball's gone. Maybe I don't want to play the Padres. Maybe yeah, you're. This is like NLDS.

This is like NLDS game one last year. Yeah, it is. Oh boy. Wow. Yep.

All right. Okay. On Sunday, the Brewers, no matter what, play on FS1 at three. Yep. No matter who.

So the Packers are at noon against the Buccaneers, and then the Brewers play at three. Are you planning on doing your post game show? After the Packers game, two of them or one of them? I will do one show after the Brewers. After the Brewers, all right.

I'm not gonna. I'm not. I'm not. If I do a Packer show, I'm gonna be watching the. It's.

I'm not. And I don't want to do like like we're watching the game now and fun, but I'm not doing a watch party thing. I don't. No. No.

No. No. No. I want. I need.

I need to watch the game. I need to listen to the audio. I bought the Brewers streaming package for the season. Am I getting access to these games? No, they're on cable.

You need FS1 or Fox. Yeah, everyone has Fox. Yeah, and they don't do like the Bucks play the first round on no local TV. They don't do that. What's with everybody bitching that these games are in the day, like?

You guys love March Madness, yeah. I'm fine with a three o'clock game. Do you remember there was a year where Fox and FX both aired? They might have aired the ALCS and NLCS at the same time. At the same time, yeah, they used to.

And people were irate. Yeah. And now you're getting a good window to watch every game with some split, like the Yankees game still going on. And now people are complaining about that too. Yeah, you're not going to make everyone happy, Bart.

No. Also, I don't want to do like a 30 minute Packer post game and just like not try. Yeah, I I I was I didn't want to assume, and then you say, "Yeah, I'm doing a show right after the Packer game." Like, just do one because if the Brewers win too, everyone's going to be all pumped up and. Also, I don't want it. If the Packers lose this week, I'm not doing that again.

And if they win, there'll be nothing to talk about.

So, we'll talk Brewers. All right. Well, this was fun. Are you still going? No.

How was your? How could you summarize your? Paul was only able to do the first thirty minutes.

Okay, but Grant and I talked about October Fest. We talked about the Badgers. We talked. I mean, it was it was another good episode. Bucks post game Monday, not for the preseason.

Are they? I could maybe do one preseason one. Are they broadcasting their preseason games? Yeah, it's on 24.

Okay, on Monday. All right. I might. I might try to. I.

They'll credential me, right? I'm. I'm probably gonna try to go. We should go. The Bucks had a media day yesterday.

How do you have a media day when there's no media to cover your team? Can't believe we lost Namesy. What a bummer! Scheduled to appear tomorrow, Craig Kishon. Really?

Yeah. Tell him I say hi. I will. Please do. Craig is one of my favorites, actually.

Oh, I love Craig. I don't even want to talk to him. I don't even want to talk to him about the Brewers. Craig has what into the Winkler versus Kuzi. I know.

He was technically at our tailgate. Yes, he was. I don't even want to talk to him about the Brewers. I want to talk to him because he used to be a sports director, like on TV in Madison. Oh yeah.

I want to talk to him to see like. Would you want that job today? With how? Yeah, no one cares about highlights anymore. Yeah, I do have one voicemail if I can play.

Sure, it's from Teacher Tom four zero two nine one five Bart four zero two nine one five B A R T. Voicemail is brought to you by Carl's Place. Here is Tom, Teacher Tom. This is Teacher Tom.

So the Packers suck. It's unlikely they're going to get a whole lot better. Maybe an eight and eight or something. But here is a theory as to why they will improve. Unlikely, but it is based on Bart Winkler thinking that Matt Lafleur never knows what to do the first time he experiences something.

He always needs to go through it once. And then he can figure out what to do for the next time it happens.

So now that he has experienced a terrible offensive line, maybe he can devise a plan to get the ball out faster or compensate for that.

So there is a possible theory to hang on to by a thread. Right? Matt Lafleur is going to hang on for dear life. That's why I think they're still going to win nine games. Matt Lafleur is going to have like nine lives.

It's pretty clear already. The team does not want to move on from him. What about Goudicans? This offensive line is so bad, right?

Now they're trying to patch patch holes with these signings. I mean, I don't think Murphy would have extended these guys. Do you think Murphy had any say? No. I don't think Murphy would have extended these guys.

I think he would have let them go into a lame duck year and then figured it out. I don't think he would have given the extension. I don't think he would have fired him in the off season.

So now we're being punished because. We're being punished because the Packers have a rule that you can't be the president after seventy.

Meanwhile, it's not artificial intelligence; it's super intelligence. It's okay. The media. Complained for a week that they got kicked out. They get back in.

He falls asleep. They say nothing. What are you even in there for? And don't don't think that's a Trump criticism. That's a media criticism.

Mike Witt has thrown us a ten spot. My man. Hey guys, I can't believe I'm actually asking this question, but does the best football coach in the state of Wisconsin coach the Badgers?

Well, we can't do that after one game. But Lafleur's terrible. Badgers are going to be ranked next after next week.

Well, they should have been ranked now, but your boy Jockle left them off the top twenty-five. Hi, boy. That's your boy. What was that about, Jacko? Yeah, I don't think it's Fickle or or Lafleur.

I think it's probably some D three coach or even a high school coach. River Falls, the national champions. Ah, they have whitewater this weekend. I heard the commercial on ESPN Milwaukee tonight.

Well, I was listening. We might have been listening at the same time then. Was it Brust and Kyle? Yep. And it was two days ago.

Is yesterday? I heard it yesterday. Yeah. I've been listening to ESPN Milwaukee. I am not complaining.

I am. You know who's growing on me there, and he's been there for. I mean, he's been around in Milwaukee media for a while. Homer. Steve Jorgensen is the suggestion from Kyle.

Oh, I am not a Jorgensen guy. Where does he coach? He was at Kimberly, and then he tried Fondulac for a while.

Okay. And I rooted against them pretty heavily. I don't like high school football, and that probably stems because I played high school soccer. The problem with high the problem with sports right now is everyone thinks they're the next thing. College thinks they're the pros.

High school thinks they're college. Youth thinks they're high school. Everyone's trying to grow up too fast, and I hate it. That's why you do got to do rec sports, baby. Yeah, rec sports.

We had a good practice tonight in soccer. I taught the kids how to defend with their body.

Okay. What's what's your record? Ah, two zero and one.

Okay, who did you tie? I don't. First game of the year, we tied.

Okay, that's that's expected. We tied the oh, we tied we tied the snappers.

Okay, and then we beat the dogs, and then we beat the sharks. No, we play the oh yeah, we beat the sharks. We play the blue whales this weekend. Our team name is the Turkeys. That's a perfect team name for your team.

We're the Turkeys. All right. I didn't come up with the name, but now it's stuck, and that's what we are. Ah, all right. Should I do turkeys post games?

Our games at eleven this Saturday. Oh yeah, nice noon. You want to come out? Where you guys play? Ah, we'll talk on the air about that.

We don't need we don't need twenty random people coming up. No, I love a support section. You kidding me? Bart's bunch. Bart's bunch.

All right. Thank you for the impromptu join in.

Sorry, no today. Blame Streamyard. I wrote them a very strongly worded email. And I may, I may be switching my servers, my service. I may leave.

I may go somewhere else, or I'm at least going to tell them I am, and then not. Gobble gobble, that's our chant. We go one, two, three, gobble gobble. Are the turkeys sponsored by Happy Place Hemp? Oh, I find.

Yeah, I give the kids, I give the other team gummies.

So that by the second half, the kids are all spaced out, and then we just run up the score. I opened up that pack you gave me from the tailgate. Yeah, that's a fresh batch. It's a fresh batch, baby. Only the best for you.

Very good. Only best for you. All right, let's all watch Padres Cubs of another episode tomorrow. Picks with Horvat on Thursday. Until then, as long as the saves.

Thanks for popping into the Winkler verse. Go brew crew.
