The least you can do is show up hungry. Good. Good afternoon, everybody. Welcome into the Winklerverse. I'm Bart Winkler.

Carlos Ortiz joins us here on this Monday. It's the National Perspective Monday. Carlos, my longtime associate at the Infinity Sports Network, which doesn't exist in even longer time. Associate here in the Winklerverse. This is uh, we got a lot to get to.

We got to talk about the NFL. Every team is bad. We got to talk about college football. Huge win for the Badgers. Oh, my God.

We got to talk about the MLB playoffs, which start tomorrow. We have to talk about. There was one other thing I want to talk about. Oh, I want to open up a pack of cards. That's fun.

And then at the end of the episode. I just posted this separate, so if you're dying for it now, I did talk with Joe Hendry. It was over the phone. Earlier this morning. He's bumming around Milwaukee this morning, hitting like all the TV stations and radio stations.

And I was just trying to get like a stream yard, but They literally squeeze my little podcast in while they're driving from point A to point B.

So just a 10-minute phoner. I will play that at the end, along with video they gave me, Joe Hendry B-roll. But it's the same 30 seconds of B-roll. Probably 40 times. And I'll probably get copyright infringed, even though.

1,000%. Even though they gave it to me. Oh, speaking of. I'm going to try to swear less, not because. I think it's the right thing to do, but Apparently, YouTube's cracking down.

I say one bad word, and I don't get money from ads.

So so we're gonna try not to swear. Oh, that's going to be really hard. It'd be funny to say a swear word now, but I'm really trying. Carlos is wearing the Giants shirt. Victory Monday.

Let me just start there. JJ McCarthy has been traded to the Giants for a fifth-round pick.

Now, bunch of different things one It's the other hardball he's going to play for. And we were connecting these dots last week. I told you it's the most obvious trade ever. JJ's eventually going to the Giants. They did get a win with Jameis Winston.

I'll be at 12-7 in the nor'easter. Ugly when. Against the Titans, but it is a win, and those are hard to come by for a lot of teams in the NFL right now. Are you is it possible you're feeling From the time that as a Giants fan, from the time you got the win yesterday, to the JJ McCarthy news, which is an hour old.

So you've not really had time to think about it. Are you like in a worse mood than you were yesterday? No, I'm still reveling in the win. It is Victory Monday. But also, like you, this was a very obvious move.

Now, there are two schools of thought here, and I kind of see both.

So, I'll unpack it a little bit before I turn this into a complete Giants festival here. Um the Giants needed to upgrade their backup quarterback situation. Jake Haner from the practice squad, we know what he is. And as much as Brandon from Chicago was singing his praises on our show a couple of years ago, Jake Hener could not be QB2 for the New York Giants. The front office and the coaching staff owed it to this roster.

In order to upgrade that position.

Now, how much of an upgrade is JJ McCarthy from Jake Hayner? We'll see. We will see. I personally think this kid cannot play in the league. I believe he is a byproduct of what the system was in Michigan, which was have a strong defense, have a good offensive line, have a good running game, and just don't blow the game.

that you know jj mccarthy was the national champion game manager So I don't think he was ever a good quarterback prospect, but. You know, Cuestio Dolph Mensa said differently, and that's why he got fired. And they drafted him as a top 10 pick a couple of years ago. I think it's solid value for the Giants, if for one thing. If they can get any type of Development out of JJ McCarthy, they could turn that fifth-round pick into something.

You know, a fifth is not that steep of an asking price here, but there's another school of thought because I mentioned there's two of them.

So that's one: upgrading the backup quarterback, which I'm totally fine with. They needed to make a move. Yeah, no, uh this was a trade for He started Carlos. I don't think that's true right now. You can't do it with the Cardinals and the Commanders pending J.J.

McCarthy, pending Jaden Daniels' health here. You don't start J.J. McCarthy the next two weeks.

Now, Here's the other school of thought. I think they might have seen enough from Jameis Winston. He looked really good in training camp. He had good rapport with the receivers. He was slinging the ball around.

He has not. looked anything like that. His arm strength looks like it's completely depleted. He looks completely World Cup hungover. He spent all offseason, you know, getting in front of the TV cameras and doing all types of cheers with South America and Brazil and all these other countries that maybe he wasn't in the playbook as much as he should have.

The Rams, you can almost give them a mulligan because, all right, who's expecting Jackson Dart to get hurt in the first series up? that the uh the Giants had the ball offensively. But that's that's on that's on you. You, you're your job as a backup to be prepared.

So he wasn't prepared. And he was short arming a lot of balls. Yesterday? I still give a mulligan, but less. Because I don't know if Jackson Dart would have been able to thrive in those rainy conditions, but it's not like it was a monsoon.

I was there, it was just rain. You were there? I was there. I posted videos. I got tickets for dirt cheap.

in uh the all-inclusive section where everything except alcohol was covered.

So I ate like a fat pig out of so were you indoors?

Somewhat, you know, because I was in the coaches' club.

So, you know, you can go inside where all the food and beverages are, and then you kind of get the sideline views, go to shit.

So it's a nice little seating arrangement.

So, but it wasn't a monsoon. No, it was raining. But it wasn't like, you know, no one can throw the ball. K-more just sucks. But in case I think the Giants might have also seen enough.

Jameis Winson does not have the arm strength. You know, they have not been effective on offense. They've kind of gone away from the game plan a little bit, but that's because James Winston's skill set is not the same as Jackson Dart's, whereas Jackson Dart and J.J. McCarthy. You can kind of see a little similarities, at least in terms of the fact that they can move.

Jameis Winston's essentially a statue.

So, Matt Nagy is kind of hamstrung in terms of what he can do for play calling, but you're not going to go start with J.J. McCarthy right now. You have the Cardinals coming up, which are sneakily good. But that's a winnable. The Cardinals are sneakily good.

Maybe also the Chargers are really that bad. But that being said, that's a winnable game against Arizona. Then you have the commanders the week after that on Thursday night football. If Jaden Daniels plays, That changes the dynamic. But let's say he doesn't play or he's compromised.

That's another winnable game. Packers are going to get Jalen Daniels this week, it looks like. Yeah, how about that? And I have Bucky Irvin, so I think they're going to stack the box. If the Giants lose either.

of the games between the Cardinals or the Commanders in embarrassing fashion. I think you see J.J. McCarthy against the New Orleans Saints in week six. That's as early as I think you'll be able to see him, but I think they really did it just to get a backup role. Just in case Jameis sucks the next two weeks, they'll start him.

J.J. McCarthy will be starting games for the Giants. It's just a matter of when. I'm hoping later rather than sooner because you're not seeing JJ McCarthy. if the Giants are winning.

If the Giants are losing, they're going to say, fuck it. We're done with Winston. We'll start J.J. McCarthy. And that's what there's one small kind of glimmer of hope that I will give J.J.

McCarthy and Giants. uh in terms of this working together. What do the Giants do? In terms of what their identity is, they want to be a strong defensive team, especially with their defensive front, even though Brian Burns is going to be done for a year because he got a torn ACL. But now it's time for Abdul Carter to step up.

So the Giants want to be strong offense defensively and go after the quarterback. They have a good offensive line. And they have a good running game with Scatabo, Najee Harris, and Tyron Trace, even though he kind of lost his rotation. That's what J.J. McCarthy had in Michigan.

Tracy, why is he even on the team? Why is Devin Singletary on the team? Because he was a hot. The Giants are being really weird with their running backs. They are.

They don't like any of them. They don't like any of them. They say Cam. Cam is on the bottom. Why don't they keep taking out Cam?

to keep them fresh. Because he is a battering ram. He lowered a hit against Isaiah Simmons yesterday that the whole stadium heard. We're like, oh, everyone's just like, ooh.

So Cam, he's loved. But you know, he's there for a good time. Whether you like the running backs or not, at least you had more than 17 yards rushing against the Atlanta Falcons. Yeah, shout out to Marshawn Lloyd, who everybody thought that was going to be a sneaky good pick in fantasy. Danny Josh Jacobs back.

But the Giants resemble what J.J. McCarthy had in Michigan. So if you're a J.J. McCarthy truther, or if you're hoping that the Giants can save their season with Dart being hurt. That's what you point to.

What the Giants do well is what Michigan did well. I'm not saying that's going to happen. I don't think that's going to translate to wins in the NFL. But a hold out hope. if you're a if you're a nine truther.

Um That situation you described is a lot like what Malik Willis was in last year. He was a manager, and people were like, oh my God, this is better than love. It wasn't. Malik just had to run the football. Mm-hmm.

Run the football himself sometimes, which McCarthy did also. And then there'd be a couple of throws that you have to make. But it was only like two or three a game. Right. And yeah, JJ Coming out of college, see, here's why I'm mad about J.J.

McCarthy. Because coming out of college, I thought he sucked. I agree. And then Joe City spent too high of a pick on him. Correct.

And that's why Minnesota banged their GM. Like, and Mensis, I don't know where the hell he is now. But then I draft him in a dynasty league late because I didn't have anyone else to pick. And so I kept turning down like first-round picks for him after that game against the Bears. And so I'm just like pissed that I screwed up.

I evaluation was right. I was swayed by the fact that I took him in a draft. But I do think he's better than Winston. But I don't think he's going to beat out Dart. I also don't.

I don't believe in Dart. No. I do. We differ in that aspect. I hate to use this because analytics can't defy it, but Jackson Dart just has it, man.

But he also has that thing where Him and Cam Scataboo are going to play bumper cars with their heads one day and both die. Yeah, it's very well I really don't think Scatterbows uh gets another contract. I think he just runs himself out of the league the next two, three years, which is a shame because he's really energetic and really entertaining. But there's no way that playing style can last, you know, multiple seasons. He's the kind of guy, like, I watch these running backs.

Um Ollie Gordon was another, but he's going to get more of a run if he's not too banged up because a chance hurt. But some of these guys at Arizona State, Scataboo was like. A buck fifty by the middle of the third quarter every single game. Yeah. And you get them to the pros, and it's not so much the case.

Well, I mean, you know, obviously the guys are much faster in the league and just, you know, the Giants. You know, they were kind of figuring out their offensive line last year.

Now, I think we know what it is. As long as Andrews Thomas can stay healthy, I think Cam's numbers will be fine, you know, because he's a if you have him in fantasy, I don't think you're disappointed. You know, there are certainly worse running back situations out there. Um, I think Cam's numbers are going to be fine. I just don't think he's going to be here for a long time.

Okay. I'm Bar Winter. That's Carlos Ortiz. This is a message from. Bart Winkler.

Do you know crashes involving drivers and vulnerable users of the road are the highest during the early evening hours in the fall? The Wisconsin Bike Fed and I are reminding people driving and people biking, use your lights as daylight hours wane. When operating near other users, be aware. Slow down and look around. We can all do our part to reduce low-light crashes.

Being visible and predictable on the road can help everyone get to where they're going safely. Check out more at WisconsinBikeFet.org. There he goes. There goes the stormtrooper. The stormtrooper gets me every time.

There goes the stormtrooper. I did a video with my dad. Was he the stormtrooper? I think I have it here. I think I saw it also.

Is that my dad? Is that my son? Dad! Lord! Dad, I don't get to see you enough.

Bring it in for a hug.

Son, I'm on my bike three feet away. Three feet. It's the law. You have to give bikers at least three feet when they're on the roads, even if you just want to hug your daddy. My dad's pulled over.

We're safe. Good to see you, Daddy! Good to see you, Marty. Be safe on the roads. That was our first hug in 15 years.

So you're not the favorite then? Got it. No, I'm just kidding. Out of four, are you four? Do you like that little fat ass running down the street in his flip-flops?

You look like you were out of breath. How many takes that actually roll? TBD or no comment. I did do something for my public health today. I went to the dentist.

I haven't been to the dentist in a couple of years. I gotta do the same. I got my grill, they took like all the plaque away. It's getting bad. It does look white.

That's pretty good. I got to do this. I know I got a lot of work. That's probably why I'm dreading going to the dentist. I got a lot of shit to get in there.

I went when I was 14 and got yelled at by Dr. Phillips. And then And then I went like... Eight years without going. I started going again.

then did another eight years without going. Then I found this place here. It was in Whitefish Bay. And It was really weird, but they They did the they did it. They cleaned my teeth, but it was like.

This one, it felt like it was a front for a porn, something or an orgy, something, because it was one guy, and then like 13 of the most beautiful blondes you'll ever see. I gotta go to that dentist. And I was going here and going here and booking and booking, and then. I booked And then one day I drove by and it was it was gone and it was already a bank. Not like the store was gone.

Not like they took down the facade and just put up a new the building was torn down. A new one was put up. It was like that Seinfeld where George tries to go to the. Model party, and it's just a meat packing place or a meat processing place. Same thing happened.

I don't know where this place went, it completely disappeared. I asked people in Whitefish Bay about it, nobody ever knows what I'm talking about. And some of the things that we think about. Yeah, I went to this place now. I go.

It's been a decade. Good luck. She's like, oh, it's not going to be that bad. And then she's like, okay, so we can't. Do the normal first day stuff today.

We have to just get everything off, and then you have to come back in three months. And I'm like, whatever. Yeah. Um They numbed it, so it's going to start hurting more throughout the day. Yeah.

So they did the deep clean. um i mean i had it was they scraped the out of it that that happened to me And the same thing, like three months later, so they can go ahead and get the rest of it. I know when I go back, I'm looking at that. Just give me the trucks. And it's weird because My teeth I'm more used to my feeling my teeth with Like packing them rather than holes for air.

Yes.

Now it feels like I'd rather have the plaque. It feels like you have an intact mouth.

Now it's like, you know, I'm like weak and I'm hollow. I'm really dreading Loy to the Denses for that same reason. Mm. At Edward Jones, we believe rich is more than caring about the latest and greatest. It's also taking care of what gives your life meaning.

I do not like it. You know what else I don't like? The Packers start to the season. Yeah. Although Blake and Tomlinson is coming.

And Makai Bechten. has been signed today. How about that? Yeah. Super Bowl champ, put some respect on his name.

World's worst offensive line just got. Moderately not as bad. We'll see if these guys play. The Packers don't play until Sunday, a game no one here will care about. Because the Um Brewers will be playing game two.

In the NLDS. Stalis Tom says, I don't understand why Yelich being a captain is a thing. And why Robin Yount was asked for approval.

So the Brewers added a C to Yellich's. Jersey, they've never or they haven't done that in a million years. And so Robin Young's considered like the captain of the Brewers and Uh, Yellow Ask Yellow. I just, this is a good story, Tom. I like this.

I don't know if you saw the celebration last night where Sal Freelick just punched Andrew Vaughan in the groin. Pow! I love that. But it just feels like for the Brewers, and I don't know what's going to happen and I don't want to pretend to know. Um But it feels like at least the vibes are good.

We've gone into these playoffs where. We lose a pitcher the week before, whether it's on the field.

Well, I mean, Kyle Harrison kind of sucks, so there's a lot of. Yeah, but he. Yeah, we're a little worried about the rotation, but Woodruff might come back. And at least we don't have anybody punching walls in their post-game parties.

Sorry, I hit the wrong. 103 wins. Best regular season, the Brewers. Will ever have? Can they cash in with the World Series?

We will find out. The wild card round starts on Tuesday. The Cubs are out in San Diego. Yeah, 10 o'clock start Eastern. 10 o'clock Eastern start for you on the cock.

They're on the cock. I know. You too, I meant peacock, not my cock, my penis cock. Yes.

Peacock, not PC. Yes, NBC's Peacock streaming services. which i i i'm i'm i i'm forced to watch that game but I think the Padres sweep them, so. There's that. It'll be a short post.

Two game sweep. Two games we. Who the fuck is pitching for the Cubs? I don't know. They just threw Soda out there for an inning yesterday.

He's not starting. Our friend of show Tommy Wertz pointed out on Twitter that the Brewers could have to play Chicago, LA, and then New York to win a title. You're playing San Diego. And that will be a tough series. You're going to play the Padres, and it's not going to be a push.

Don't do that again. You said we were going to miss, you said the Cubs were going to miss the playoffs. Oh, the Phillies almost did. I don't know how that snuck up on people. I would have been right if Arizona didn't fucking completely forget how to play baseball.

So who's starting tomorrow? Boyd? I don't know. David Peterson, maybe, or Kevin Gosman. Brooks is watching.

He says, I finally get to watch a live broadcast. Welcome, board. He also says, he also says, go, Cubs. Yeah, where are we going? We're going home in like fucking four days.

Hey, you're not supposed to swear. Oh, I completely forgot. See, no, this is your fault. I completely forgot. You talked cubs, and I got mad.

Well, now you open the floodgate, so who gives a shit?

Well no. Yeah, you really are still undecided. What? No, no, no, I want you to get paid because you get paid, I get paid. You really don't have a starter named yet.

So I have that they don't know. They honestly do not know. I would say they're probably going to go with Clay Holmes. Michael King is starting, the former wave legend, friend of the Winklerverse. Are they starting with an opener then?

No, Michael King could give him give you some length. I know not starting with Randy Vasquez. Oh, no, okay. I was looking at something else. I'm an idiot.

I agree. So, cuz Padres. Don't, don't, you really, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't just be. No, this is in reverse jinx. All right, I've been bashing people for reverse jinxes.

The last three weeks of my fantasy league. I hate first jinxer. I didn't play off. They only did because of the Started to just completely crap the bed. and i don't think they're going to beat the padres i think the the padres have been hot And I don't think the Cubs have the pitching for a deep postseason run.

Forget about deep. I don't think they have a pitching for a postseason run, period. If they speak by the Padres, it'll be in three. And then a brewers will smoke them in four or five. Do you mind that the Houston Astros are the first division winner in baseball history to not have a winning record?

That's absolutely ridiculous. Yeah. And 81. If you thought the Cardinals winning the World Series with like 85, 86 wins was an albatross, this is absolutely disgraceful. I don't think the AL West should have sent anybody.

I get it. This is the way the format is, but This is pathetic. In 162-game season, you have a team that's under 500 getting into the postseason. Awful. I'm very Um staunch that divisions matter.

So, I will continue to fight for this. If you don't like, If you don't like... This is how it always goes, at least in football, when you get a seven and nine winner or whatever. If you don't like that the division winner Doesn't have a record acceptable to you. And I mean, the.

Collective you. That's not Something we should. Change. the playoffs for. Don't be like well You can't make the don't what you should be changing is the size of the divisions.

I want to see the divisions be bigger. I want to see two eight-team divisions in each league. Yeah. I think we. Destroy the centrals and throw to teams either east or west.

No more centrals in either one. I just don't think a pennant race. is a contest between five teams. Correct. A pennant race.

You know, I know the Brewers have won four in a row, but we won four divisions. We didn't win four pennants. To win the pennant, now you have to, I think, win the national league. You used to get the AL pennant and then the AL League. No, you're not winning a pennant.

And the Brewers get made fun of because they put up pennants for wild cards, including 2020, when they were 28 and 32 and made it as an eighth seed and beat loss to the Dodgers. Bye. I don't mind it. I don't mind it. I don't mind that the Yankees have to play the Red Sox and then the Rays first.

I don't care. That's how the playoffs work. They're in your division. Either your division's good or your division's not good.

So, I don't care. I think a lot of America. Is going to be rooting for either the Rays because of the small market or the White Sox. People want to root for the White Sox. Yeah, listen, I'm a Cubs fan.

I don't hate the White Sox. I'll root for the White Sox. When is 670 the score? Going to give Bart a show. This duo was epic back when they spent 20 minutes a day doing show prep.

We spent 20 minutes a day doing show prep. I mean, honestly, 20 minutes is very generous. If we spent 20 minutes a day doing show prep, it was the first 20 minutes of the show. The open was the prep. Um, why don't you, you, if that's what you think?

At Odyssey. Yeah. Tweet those people, email those people. They're never going to give us a show, but just be obnoxious about it. You have my blessing.

In fact, you have my encouragement. In fact, anybody can please use my name for whatever because I'm pretty much out of sports. I want to talk more football. Before I do that, I have a baseball pack to open, so I'm going to open a pack of cards with you. Do I have to do anything?

No, you just have to look and comment on the names.

Okay. See if I know half of these names. It's a 1991 Score Series 2 baseball pack. It's very possible I know half of these names.

Okay. This is a score. Double pack. Joe Piscopo. The first card we have is Carol Bennett.

Dave Clark. Oh, I like this, Brett. I like this set. I have this set. Dave Clark, cubbies.

Mike Kingery. I do know my kingray. Rob Reischel. I'm sorry, that's Rick Reischel Giants. I've heard that name.

Scott Ger Geralts That guy's not real. Don't need him. Don't know who that is. I didn't like these. Do you remember these?

It was like a. Yeah. Yeah. Well, what's the uh, I mean, I wouldn't know the answer to the trivia question anyway, but what's the question? Oh, it's about the Braves.

Lou Burdett became only the ninth pitcher in World Series history to win three games as the Braves defeated the Yankees in seven games in 1957. How about that? The Milwaukee Braves. Mark Grant. Oh, yeah.

Rob Doocy? Isn't he on Fox News? Pat Tabler. Oh, yeah. Former Matt Great, I believe.

Former Brewers manager, Dale Smith. Oh, yeah, do know him. My mom had such a crush on this guy. Dale Swame. We had a Dale Swame card on our fridge.

Um Rick Reid. Luis Polonia. Tony Castillo? Yes.

Kirk McCaskill? No. And then the special cards are Matt Williams Master Blaster.

Okay. Okay. Nolan Ryan, K-Man. Who doesn't know that one? 7-0 hitters.

Mike Lieberthaw, rookie card. Oh, yeah. And Eric Hansen came in. One of the Hansen Brothers? What did the Vikings get for the Giants?

They got a fifth-round pick. After using a first-round pick two years ago, hey, that's good. That's good bargain hunting by the Giants. On JJ McCarthy. God, he better not start this year.

Why take him then? That's got to be on Kevin O'Connell.

So, yeah, I'm with you because Kevin O'Connell's regarded as this quarterback whisperer, this guru. Um but You know, when they fired Adolfa Mensa, they basically just said Kevin Aconos was like, well, that's his fault.

So who Who's in control there? I mean, is Kevin El Connell now pretty much all personnel decisions after they fired their general manager? Because. I think everyone was stunned when the Vikings took him. That was a win-now team at the time.

Well, what did they do? Like, they wasted.

So, he got hurt and they wasted that whole year, I thought, because I was talking about how the Vikings. If you have a quarterback that's your first-round pick and he's hurt for the year. There is an opportunity to make sure that when he's Better and back the next year, you don't have to do a single thing mental with him. It's all about the physicality.

So learn the playbook. Quiz these guys, be in every meeting, simulate games, spend some weeks. With the defensive coordinators in the booth during the game. Watch how the defense plays against your scheme. There's so much he could have learned.

I just wonder what he was doing. And I wonder what the Vikings were doing. Like, if you're going to redshirt a guy. Don't just not play him. Educate him.

I don't know what the Raiders are up to right now. They might be in a tricky spot because. There was one year the Dolphins were good. Or good enough, and they were starting fits, but then they benched him for Tua. The Raiders are 3-0.

Yeah. You can't bench Kirk if you're winning, but you can do whatever you want, actually. Their schedule is about to get much harder, too. The Raiders have played essentially a cupcake opening three weeks. The Raiders are about to get a dose of reality.

I'm not saying that they're not going to go winless the rest of the season. But they are about to start having some heavy hitters as opposed to, you know, playing the fucking Saints and the Chargers. Who is good in the NFL right now? I went upstairs to put my son to bed. Got my 16-0 last night, Rams, Broncos.

I was stunned when I watched the Broncos come back. And then Sean McVay, did you see what he did last night? No. Well, he went to the podium and left. Oh, yeah, but supposedly he left on his second answer because, like, half the media wasn't there.

Do a three and all contenders or pretenders?

Well, I mean, that wouldn't be a compelling segment because I think other than the ram other than the Chiefs and to a lesser extent the Bills because I don't believe they're defense at all. Everyone knows that is a pretender. Those are your only two, three or no contenders, the Chiefs and the Bills. You know what I will do? I'll go through the divisions and just see what we think of each division.

Bryn says McCarthy's going to have to change his demon's name because likely wears nine. He's not giving that up. He's not giving it up. If anything, yeah. And you can't wear six because that's dark.

And he can't wear 19 because that's Winston. Yeah. I don't know. Listen, I don't really give a shit about J.J. McCarthy's number.

He should really not care about it either. He needs to prove that he can play. Yeah, just give what did Daniel Jones have? Eight? Give him eight.

You may Can't have five. That's Kayvon Thibodeau. AFC East, Buffalo's 3-0. Jets and Patriots are 1-2. Dolphins are 0-3.

I should have taken the Chiefs as my survivor pool. Yeah. All you had to do was pick against Miami so far these three weeks. It's been bloodbath for a lot of teams. I messed around.

I took the Packers on Thursday. Yeah. But I think the Bills are the real deal, and I don't I don't think anything's too shocking with this division. I'm kind of low on New England anyway. I was too.

I don't know what the hell happened in that game. Why is Trevor Lawrence going down? Why is he taking a knee at the one-yard line with fucking eight and a half minutes to go is ridiculous? Ridiculous. I don't get that one whatsoever.

But the Jacksons, you know, they got the win, so I won't kill them too much. I don't think it was a gambling thing. I don't know, man. That's. Dude, he had nothing but daylight.

And there's a lot of time on the clock. Nine minutes. Dude, that's pretty egregious. If you ever want to point to conspiracy theories or talk about how Vegas isn't. But if it is, you can't be that obvious.

You can't be that obvious. Did he explain? Why he took a kneader? Of course, that would require prep, which if we did 20 old show. I didn't even know we were talking about that.

We definitely didn't for this. Listen, while you're go ahead and look at that, I'm less high on the bills than you are. Yes, they're 3-0, and I think offensively did a real deal, but their defense scares the shit out of me. And I think the Chiefs, if Mahomes continues in this trajectory. I think the Chiefs absolutely destroy the Bills if we see them in a postseason, but it's only three games.

So we'll see what happens. But that division is exactly what we thought the division was going to be two years ago. Uh you know, obviously the year before the Patriots won it. The Patriots were a byproduct of the schedule. They had a soft-ass cookie cutter schedule last year, and the Jets are the Jets, and the Dolphins are not winning a game in the NFL.

So, the Bills will easily coast his division. They could probably win it with eight to nine wins if they just decide to take the foot off the gas his second half.

Now, he said after the game on the field. That he went down so that Tooten could get a touchdown. Does he have him in his fantasy league or do you like on a parlay or something? Tootin was the DFS play that Lawrence has. We need to check his books.

Sports and casino tweets. Sliding down at the one-yard line with eight minutes left isn't fair, but we've got you covered. We'll be refunding customers who lost their Trevor Lawrence anytime TD bets in fan cash. I disagree with that. He didn't score.

I agree too. He went down. He chose to go down. You have to, when you're making that bet, you're also betting on. The mentality of the player.

So. I disagree wholeheartedly. I want people to get their money. I don't want it to go to these. uh books that are not potawatomy.

Okay, because I'm going to go there this week and put 500 on the Bucs over. I wouldn't ask for my refund. I just say, look, dude. He didn't score. I wouldn't ask for that refund.

I don't like that. Yeah, I think you lose your money. Plus, Gam Williams is sin. Unless you're going to the Pyloni Swordbook. The Jets did this again yesterday against the Lions.

Down 24-16 after a touchdown. Maliflor is so lucky that Aaron Glenn exists. And they win for two. Yeah. Now, here's.

So here's what they say. Here's what they said on the broadcast. They said something to the extent of: well, in analytics, the fourth quarter, you go for two. on that first touchdown, so you know what you need on the second touchdown. That still Hits my brain and doesn't make sense to me.

I don't get it. I understand if you're like, well, we want to go for two so that we can win the game on an extra point. That I disagree with it. But it makes sense when you're trying to say you know what you need, you already know what you need either way. Right.

I don't like going for two in that situation because if you miss, you're automatically just to tie where you would have been anyway. I don't understand. how we're letting this be accepted. And All these people that get on TV and like preach it to you, and I'm talking the good morning football crew and all their subsidiaries are all like, This is the way this is analytics, this is what you have to do. Greg Olson was a huge.

Proponent of this, it just doesn't make sense. It's so stupid. I don't get it. I don't get. Yes, you can win, but you're still in the same position.

You would have been in the I don't get it. If you're just saying, I want to kick a two here, because I want to be only down six, because I want, that's different. That's not what they're saying. They're saying, we want to know what we need. You already know what you need.

And then Why don't you go for the two and have the lead? Stupid. Very stupid.

Well, we're going to have to go for two eventually. No, you're not. You could just tie. Which the Cowboys did, and then they lost. They lost.

I was very happy about that. But how about Tyler Loop, man? I don't think he makes missing the playoffs last year go away completely, but that's a. That's a great confidence boost to him. And the Cowboys lost.

So I think good times had by all for everybody who's a Ravens fan. That was like the least. International game of all time. That was a Cowboys home game. Yeah, I didn't think I knew that the third quarter it was in Rio.

Yeah, I thought they were in Dallas the whole time because the end zone was painted in Cowboys' colors. The fucking crowd was pro-Dallas. You know, the only time I realized that they were in Brazil is when the PA announcer, you could hear him through the speakers, and he said some shit. And I'm like, that's not English. And then I'm like, oh, wait, they're in Rio.

Yeah. And J.J. Watt was at Christ the Redeemer, and Stephen A. Smith punched him. It was hilarious.

And he stepped in the piss cave. Oh, God, he's so funny. Um. The whole AFC North is two and one. Yeah, how about the Bengals losing to the Steelers?

The hell happened there. Although the rounds are two and one. Yeah. Listen, give Todd Munkin the coach of the year right now. He's making Deshaun Watson work.

That's pathetic, by the way. I thought Sanders was going to the Giants instead. They got J.J. McCarthy. The AFC South Jacksonville's 2-1, Colts are 1-2.

And then Houston and Tennessee are both 0-3. Houston's done. I think Houston's cooked. They're done. Once Nico Collins got hurt, you knew it was over.

Um Chiefs are 3-0 in the West. Raiders are 3-0. For Gazey. I don't think it's like the Pirates though, where they start 10 and 4 and then they're 500 by the All-Star break. No, they're going to start losing a lot.

They're going to start losing, but I also. I give them the credit for these three wins. Sure, because I actually think the Saints are a sneaky good team, too. Yeah, Horvot agrees with you. I'm sort of not, but.

AFC East, the Eagles play the Bears tonight. It looks like it's Case Keenum going for Chicago. That's going to be a bloodbath. I think to fill it off, whatever the line is for Philly, just to take it, take it. It's not.

Dallas is one and two. They're going to. They're going to be a better team than their record again. They're going to be okay. Washington's Probably hurting.

Although Washington beating Seattle was I don't think I think a lot of um A lot of survivor pools got fucked up yesterday. That was a big win. And maybe they like Mariota better'cause it doesn't seem like anyone on that team likes Jaden. Right, like he gets hurt and nobody gives a shit.

Meanwhile, dart goes down. You see the entire team in prayer circles. NFC North, the Vikings are 3-0 as they've gone back to Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy, as we talked about, is with the Giants. We'll see what the Bears do tonight.

I really hope they lose. They're losing by a lot. This is going to be one of the worst Monday Night games you'll see all year. Oh, that's why I'll be at Monday Night Raw tonight. Yeah.

My wife's like, who am I going to see it? Because she's going. And so she's by law. Yeah. Oh.

She starts naming the wrestlers she knows. She's like. Cena?

Well, he's retired. Cody. He's on SmackDown. Yeah. Punk needs on SmackDown.

What about Sammy and Kevin and Ran uh p Smack Smack SmackDown? Joe Henry, who will join us in a minute. Over me? Yeah. Logan stare down like almost.

Dom Mysterio? I did see the list of advertised matches right now. It's Roxanne Perez versus Lola Weiss. Oh man, that's a lot of cake in that bakery. And Dragon Lee versus Big Cass.

They got to stop making Dragon Lee a thing. I'm Dragon Lee, Ray Phoenix, Pence is okay, but they're all just looking for the next Rey Mysterio. We need to fucking stop it. We're going to have such a bad show tonight. Oh, yeah.

Jay Lewis, I just saw his comment because he directly asked me: what do I think about the Caleb injury? I'm not a Bears fan. But I think that with that type of performative act that Caleb went down with. Say that out loud. I didn't want to see him for the rest of the year.

You acting like a bitch. Acting like a straight up B word. And you saw when Jackson Dart gets hurt, he's lobbying to get back into the game. They have to carry Caleb Williams out like he's. Paul Pierce in the wheelchair that we needed to take a crap.

And it's week to week. That's embarrassing if you're a Bears fan.

So I've been shitting on Caleb Williams for like two weeks. I've been killing him since then. Literally, since he did the Kobe. With the hand up, I've been killing them since that. People, these Bears fans go to me.

Why are you so obsessed with Caleb Williams just because he made like a fist pump hand gesture? It's just a hand gesture. You like the meme I sent you. It's just a hand gesture. Yeah.

So then, then, so they're like, it's just a hand gesture. It's just a hand gesture. So then they go to me, the Packers lose. And now Bears fans, they are taking credit. They think that they broke us.

And they go, wow, this really broke the Ford Bears. They go, this really broke the Packers. And it's Ben Johnson not giving Matt LaFleur a handshake. Mm-hmm. So they're saying don't get wrapped up in a hand gesture.

Meanwhile, You're fading away because of a hand gesture. Stupid as fan babe. Be consistent. That there could even be. Just leave Cub fans alone.

Yeah, you can kill Bears fans, but not Cubs fans. NFC South, it's a three-way tie at one and two, besides the Buccaneers who are 0-3. I like the Panthers in this division. That was a tough loss for them. I like Tampa, but they're done.

They're done. They're going to a rookie quarterback, which I didn't even know they had a rookie as a backup. I have no idea who. Oh, I'm all in on this guy. I have no idea who he is.

He's from Kansas. I I understand that, but I've never seen him play. He threw a pick yesterday, but that was the last desperate. It was a Hail Mary, yeah. NFC West, Niners 3-0.

Rams and Cardinals 1-2, Seahawks 2-1. If This Brock Purdy's very good. He might be the MVP right now. Yeah, and in the past, I've been hard on Brock Purdy. But I think Brock Purdy was getting anointed by people.

Too early. If you want to anoint him now, I think I'm in. Yeah, like I'll take it. I'll be back. Who's he throwing to?

Mike Evans is out, has been out and he'll be out for like five more weeks. Deshaun stribling is a non-factor because he got hurt right away. Probably not going to see him toward week 11, week 12. Who's he fucking throwing to? Debo.

And Kittle, you know, made a couple plays yesterday, sure. They did a flip where Evans caught it, got stuck, and flipped it to Debo. Yeah. It was awesome. I mean, it's still Christian McCaffrey at the end of the day, but you know.

Hurdy's putting up numbers, man.

So which of the teams with a winning or a losing record? I would say the team with a losing record that I think is. In trouble. Or like what contender's in the most trouble? I would say is New England.

I don't think they're contenders, so I I I won't put them in there. And then, what undefeated team or winning record team is the most fraudulent? The Raiders. You could say the Raiders. But every win, I just feel like with how Oh, Chargers are 0-3.

With how many teams that we Jim Harbaugh might be getting fired. Like soon. Maybe. With how many teams Are going down that we don't expect really the last two weeks where teams you're taking as your survivor. Like you think they have the best chance.

Case in point, Washington and Seattle yesterday. Yeah, I think just if you have three wins right now. I'm not going to be rushing to say you're a fraud. You're a protector. You have three wins.

Yeah, I'll say it for a while. I don't care about your schedule. I don't care about if you have three wins right now. I'm not touching you. I'm not doing anything.

I would put them in our. worse than five power rankings if I had to. You really should soften the stance on the Raiders, though. They're going to play at a Chiefs next. They'll probably, yeah, but I'm not, but for now.

Here are the next couple of games that I'll skip the gimmies. They're going to play the Chiefs. They'll play the Patriots so they could win that game. They'll play the Bills after that. They play the Rams after that.

You can easily lose three of those games. Yeah, but for right now. Then you have the 49ers, the Broncos, the Seahawks. later in your schedule like The Raiders will be. They're obviously eclipsing their win total because I think they get five to six wins.

But um Yeah, if the rate if you're if you're gonna buy stock on the Raiders like You should have done so already. Um, I'm looking at Buck's Media Day stuff. To try to see if there's anything worth sharing. It looks like Wes Eden's. has talked and Taylor Jenkins is at the podium.

Oh yeah, that's right. I forgot he's your coach. Yeah. I did see Giannis goofing around with Bam. Earlier at Heat Media Day, I saw that via our friend Eric Name.

Who also left us to cover the heat from the Bucs? with the athletic I still feel very good about the Bucs recreating or going over. The 26 and a half. I saw Draymond Green at a clip where he said that. Tyler Hero dressing like TJ Ford was corny as shit.

Yeah. What's the big deal? That doesn't make any sense. Why would Draymond Green care about that for half a second? Who cares?

Because the cool thing to do right now is to shit all over Tyler Hero. That's the cool thing.

So, everybody wants to get in on it. And Draymond has to be relevant and everything because he's positioning himself for a media career.

So, why not take a cheap shot at low-hanging fruit Tyler Hero? He also talked about Gary Trent and how, since the Bucs paid this guy more than he deserves, we could be in trouble. But let me reiterate. Let me reiterate. That doesn't make sense.

We're already being punished by paying Gary Trent. Seriously. That's the punishment. We're being Punished. By the way, I'm upset at you because we're talking NBA.

You buried the lead here. You're not going to talk about the massive trade that the Bulls made. Oh, yeah, I saw that last night and then I forgot it because I was just drinking the happy place hemp. Is there a promo code for that? Yeah, it's Bart and it's 25% off each and every order at checkout.

Happy Place Hemp. You're welcome for the layup there. Yeah, the Bulls have traded Rob Dillingham to the Hornets for Buddy Healed and some money. When did Buddy Heal go to the Hornets? I Don't know.

I thought you were a woman. I really don't know. I thought he was on the Warriors as well. Yeah. The Bulls make so many fucking stupid draft picks, Rob Dillingham.

You knew he was never going to be a part of that future. Do you have any thoughts on my Wisconsin Badgers coming back? Against Penn State. Penn State stinks. Good win for you guys, but Penn State stinks.

Yeah. James Franklin's still there, even though he's not the coach. Yeah. Yeah, pretty much. Felt like it.

I'm going to play Joe Hendry. Carlos, I'm going to free you. Oh, well, thank you. Uh you can say my name next name next week and I'll be here. Light show Henry.

Look at you. Who do the Giants have next week? I will be at this game as well. This is going to be the 1986 Super Bowl Championship Reunion.

So they will be playing the Cardinals, which is. I want to say a winnable game. But dare I say the Cardinals might also be better than the Giants.

So who knows what's going to happen on Sunday? Do you think I should get rid of Marvin Harrison Jr.? Yes, I'm holding on. I don't think Marvin Harrison can play. I don't either.

He's so, and not even for this team. He can play, he just doesn't seem like he's trying. I think he gave up, dude. They paid Michael Wilson for a reason, and Trey McBride is a black hole of production. Like, if you're looking for anybody outside of Michael Wilson and Trey McBride to be, you know, fruitful, Jeremiah Love is finally coming around as well.

I don't think Marvin Harrison has a place on this team. The best that he can hope for. Is that someone takes a flyer from and he gets traded? I don't know. It's a dynasty league, right?

I think you're forced to hold them. But you're not going to get much out of him if he's in Arizona. He needs to be traded. Yeah. I am strong.

Marvin Harrison's the JJ McCarthy of wide receivers is such a great comp. I'm struggling in fantasy right now. 0 and 3 in my f League, I care about. I would say Marvin Harrison is the Arch Manning of wide receivers because Arch Manning, if his last name was Smith. Arch Manning would not be getting looked at.

Archman stinks. Yeah, they're winning every game by like a possession. And he's not a difference maker. He's a jag. He's just a guy.

Yeah, we'll see. He's gonna get drafted number one overall. You know what I was impressed with was Dylan Riola coming in and Oregon. You know, as long as he stops his Patrick Mahomes, you know, fanboying. and doesn't look exactly like a clone of them, I think Dylan Riola is going to have a bright future.

I think the thing that excited me the most about the Badgers win was I given up on the game. We were watching Traders. Love the show. And then I was watching a creepy dude. Yeah, he's Nightcrawler.

Oh, that's the guy. That's him? I didn't know that. I know he looked familiar, but he's just so flamboyant and weird. Are you faithful?

Or you're a traitor. I don't know. He is not crawler. Good. He is flamboyant.

He wears some very interesting articles of clothing out there. Shit. but to each their own. But for the Badgers I'm like all the way back in until they lose this weekend, but I'm all the way back in this weekend. They should be ranked, but our guy, Jocko, left them off.

Otherwise, they would have been 25. Jacko? What are you doing, Jocko? That was fun. All right, buddy.

Good to see you. Likewise. Do you have anything to promote? I ask, knowing you don't. I have absolutely nothing to promote except myself.

If you are a have any influence in sports media whatsoever and want to help me find employment, please do so because I am running out of options and I am not working.

So Right here. This could be your guy. For cheap too. I didn't think Carlos would still be available for me in September into October. I might be available until December.

We'll see what happens. All right, buddy. All right, everybody. Enjoy Joe Henry. I'll see you next week.

See ya. That's Carlos Ortiz. Carlos. With a K. Here on the national Perspective.

You guys are talking about the Badgers saying, How did the Badgers fire fickle now that he beat an overrated Penn State team? That win screwed up our program. I'm pumped, dude. I just like. It's college football.

I like I'm enjoying college football more this year than the pros. I know the games are like longer, but I'm enjoying it more. I am enjoying college football more than the pros, and that's not a Packers-Badgers thing. I am enjoying Saturdays more. The NFL games are they are dragging on to me.

They're dragging on. I don't know why that is, but they are. College I'm enjoying. Quite a bit. I'm into the rankings.

I'm into the playoff. I'm into the conference stuff. I don't like, I mean, I love college football. But I'm not a college football guy over an NFL guy. But right now, I am enjoying.

College football more. Then I am uh The NFL. Uh At QVC, fall shopping is more than just checking out. No, sirree. Maybe I'll tape the game Paul Immigg style, but I will be at Monday Night Raw. Give me a shout if you're going to be there. Joe Hendry and I. Talk to each other on the phone for 10 minutes.

I've put this separate on YouTube, but to include in the podcast. I'm including Joe Hendry is from Scotland. He Has really worked hard to get to the WWE. TNA champion, NXT champion. Will he get those title shots in the WWE?

I don't know. They've kind of got him in programs more as like a fan-friendly kind of guy. I would like to see him still have that serious side and compete. For titles, but right now he's somebody that's going to be more enjoyed by maybe my kids. or kid or the kids.

Than adults, but we will see. I do look forward to him tonight.

So, had a chance to talk with Joe Hendry on the phone. This is that conversation here on the Winklerverse. Stepping into the Winklerverse is WWE Superstar Joe Hendry. Joe, great to talk to you, great to have you in Milwaukee. Uh, it's kinda weird, like, when you guys come, you get a tour of the city, but Is it like just the media spots?

How much do you actually get to see when you're here? Nothing?

Well, a lot of the time when you're a professional wrestler, it's very much, you know, you land, you get to the hotel, you get to the building, hotel, and then you're out again. But if you give me a good recommendation, maybe we'll make some time. Where should we check out?

Well, you're down at Pfizer Forum tonight. The deer district's down there, they call it. There's a lot of good spots all over the place if you get a chance to check anything out. The weather, well, I mean, it's fall here. Otherwise, you know, we just had a really nice summer, but Milwaukee's kind of a hidden gem.

Maybe like you've been for most of your career until much lately. I have to relay, first of all, Joe, I walked my seven-year-old to school today. We're going tonight. He had a few messages for you. He said, tell him I said hi.

Hello. He said, I want Joe to kick ass tonight. Couldn't that happen? Yeah, that absolutely.

Well, I think it would be wrong to not do that.

So I'll try and do that. He says he's a big fan. And he said, keep singing and keep making fun of J.D. McDonough's big head.

Now that we can definitely do you know what? Just because he said that, let me think about what I'm gonna say tonight. Be there tonight. You know what's cool, Joe, is. The kind of as a wrestling fan watching you and how you've Come to Monday Night Raw with the stops in TNA and NXT and the championships.

This journey for you, I don't think it's been similar to other wrestlers' journeys in that locker room. When did you set? On this being your destination, and when did you realize that, like, you cannot fail? You're not going to fail, you're going to get to WWE and you're going to make an impact? Um well I mean WWE is the dream for anybody that gets into the business.

And I think, you know, I was. Hooked on professional wrestling a little bit later than most. I was sort of 14 or 15 before I got truly obsessed with professional wrestling. It was around then I decided that you know I want to be a WWE superstar one day. But you know, your career can take different twists and turns.

And I remember it got to a point where I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to make it to WWE, but then I remember seeing WrestleMania 40 and thinking, oh no, I have to somehow. Find a way to make this happen. And I'm thankful that we did. I've read, you know, when you first got, let me just say, got on the scene, we're just like, I'm captivated when you made your debut in NXT. And then, obviously, WrestleMania, we're trying to like, where did this guy come from?

Who is this guy? What's with this music? But I've read about you, like, You're, you, you don't just pick up a guitar, right, and start singing. You've put a lot into your music, into your theme song. That's as big a part of Joe Hendry, I think, as the wrestling is.

Is that fair to say? Yeah, absolutely. I remember, I think a lot of the time, as a wrestler, when you're trying to figure out who it is you're going to be and what you want to do, you need to put yourself in the through, you need to see what you're watching through the eyes of the audience. And so I remember I was watching a pro wrestling show in Scotland, and I just noticed that the wrestlers who were most over with the crowd tended to have the best theme songs. And I was like, all right, I guess I'm going to have to do my best to come up with the best theme song I can.

So I knew from early on that was going to be a priority for me. And you you had had music Talent before, right, you weren't You didn't wrestle first and then pick up a guitar? Is that how it went? Yeah, I I was writing songs for about ten years before I ever um started wrestling. And now you're writing songs about firing Logan Paul and JD McDonough's big head.

You do a good job, but I mean, your subject matter is you're you're looking to you're looking to, as my son said, kick these guys' ass all over the ring.

Well, look, I mean, I think I'm just, I think music is about writing songs that can, you know, connect the world. And I think, you know. Fighting Logan Paul is a cause that everyone can get by. Joe Henry joining us in the Winklerverse. Your career, like.

It's going great, you're winning titles. You're on Monday Night Raw. You're in the video game. There's action figures of you. A lot's going well.

I do think, though, that, like. You burst onto the scene.

So, like, incredibly, the pops you're getting and the viral moments you made, you're almost like. The the biggest pops almost came At the beginning, for you, are you? Do you feel yourself like chasing that again? Because. Man, it was just.

I think I watched the NXT clip a hundred times. Your match with Orton at WrestleMania was incredible. Like, you almost had such a big entrance. How do you, how do you. Get back to that, sustain that?

Like, how do you get that pop again? It was so loud.

Well, I think, you know, I've been doing this for thirteen years now.

So it may seem new, but it's actually been a very sort of for a long time, it was an incremental journey for me. But I've had, you know, I've been lucky enough to have a lot of these moments where it just feels larger than life. You know, when I was three years in the business, I wrestled Kurt Angle. You know, I I Took a little bit of time away from professional wrestling and I won two national amateur wrestling titles. That kind of felt impossible at the time.

And then, you know, all the key moments that you discussed there, they felt almost impossible at the time. And that's the thing about wrestling: Finn Balor said it in an interview with Chris Van Vliet recently where he said, you know, just when you think it can't get any better, it does. And, you know, you were mentioning the pop there at WrestleMania. And of course, you want to chase that again. But sometimes you're surprised by how loud the reactions can be.

Like when we did the South America tour, you know, some of the reactions that we were getting when we were in Ecuador and Colombia and Chile and so on, like some of those reactions, it felt just like that, you know.

So as performers, we're always trying to do that. And to just say that, you know, that's it. I've had my big moment and I want to have another one, you know, would be doing a disservice to me and my fan base. Oh, I absolutely agree on that. And the fan base is growing.

I can tell you, like I mentioned, my kid's a big fan. I'm a big fan. Let me just ask you this one because as a broadcaster, I wonder this. And you would be a good subject matter for this. I've always felt like I can talk in front of one person easy.

I can talk in front of 300 people. Like easy. It's that like 10 to 15 people that's weirder. One's not weird. A thousand's not weird.

But like the 10 to 15 kind of intimate crowd, you've wrestled in front of all different crowds now, huge crowds on this tour in Milwaukee tonight. How much do you notice like? How many people you're wrestling in front of, and do you try to? Do you try do you try to I'm wrestling in front of fifteen thousand, but it's I have to act like I'm wrestling in front of six, or I'm wrestling in front of, you know, I'm just starting out, but I have to act like I'm wrestling in front of the big arenas. How much do you notice your surroundings, I guess, when you're in the ring, coming to the ring, playing the songs and all the stuff that you do that makes you great?

I think there are so many things in professional wrestling that we do to connect with the fan base. And that can be whether you're, you know, doing a meet and greet or you're doing a show. Or, for example, right now you're doing media, you're taking a picture with a fan at the airport. There are so many different ways on so many different levels to connect with people. And I think that.

You know, the best way to approach it is just to try and give the fan base and the audience that moment that they're looking for. Try and deliver as best you can for the audience, regardless of where you're at. And I think the people who get truly great in professional wrestling are the ones who give their best every single time, no matter what that is. And we're going to see that tonight in Milwaukee, I hope, from you, Joe. Absolutely, 100%.

We're very excited for Monday Night Raw tonight. Just, it doesn't get any bigger and better than Monday Night Raw. It's professional wrestling, it's absolute best. And, you know, I always say to people, if you've never, if you don't, there are a bunch of people who maybe don't understand professional wrestling. Once you see it live, you will understand it.

No one goes to see Raw and comes away and doesn't become an even bigger fan.

So we're going to be excited to see everyone tonight in the Pfizer Forum. Show starts at 6:30, and you can still get your tickets on Ticketmaster. We are looking forward to it. We'll be screaming loud for you, Joe. Thank you so much for your time and have a good show tonight.

Thank you so much. Just wanted to also add: I've got my album with WWE that we're releasing coming out beyond belief on October 5th as well. We're also dropping a new single today that's out everywhere. You can hear music. It's called If You Don't Love Joe Hendry.

So go check it out on your way to the show. We listen to wrestling on Spotify all the time. We will definitely be checking that out, Joe. Thank you so much. Awesome.

Thank you so much. There he is, there he is, there he is, there he is, there he is, there he is, there he is, there he is. There he is. All right, there he is. There he is.

That was Joe Hendry joining us, WWE Superstar. He'll be at Pfizer Forum tonight with Monday Night Raw. One man who will not be at Pfizer Forum as much this season as previous seasons is Giannis. Janis was asked if he will sign an extension with the heat. After the iguanas showed up at his house, another hilarious Giannis story.

It's just as funny when it's not your guy. I won't take no extension questions. I want to focus on the season. I don't even want to go there. It's too early.

But if the iguanas keep on coming, I'll probably move. Maybe you get an apartment across the street. Over under two and a half years with the Miami Heat. Under. Under.

Thanks to Carlos, thanks to Joe, thanks to everyone. Who continues to make this possible, including our friends at Carl's Place? They bring you the Carlos Ortiz episodes. Each and every week. We'll be back with Paul and Grant tomorrow.

Until then, enjoy Raw. Find me if you're there. I'm not. Sitting I don't have Tom Grossy seats. But Say hi if you're there.
