I'm Bart Winkler. Great to be with you on this Thursday morning, September the 10th. We're going to talk some Brewers Cubs. We're going to talk some NFL. The season openers saw the Seahawks win.
Very bad mistake. A terrible decision. From Drake May via the mouth of Mike Tarico. Want to talk about council, want to talk about Rogers, all my favorite guys here on today's live episode. Our next episode is: we've got the picks taken care of for the week.
We've got taken care of for the week.
Next episode is going to be on Sunday after Packers Vikings. We will be live, we will have the link. I've got a link for today if anybody wants to join on a random Thursday morning. But we will continue our Packers post games again this season. It is football season, and if I were not to do a live postgame, why am I even doing a podcast, really?
If I were not to do a Packer post game. I'm out there in that space, and the best part about Packer Post games is you can get. You can get a lot of them. There's a lot of pods out there. I support everybody trying to do it.
You could probably listen to uh Post-games from the time the game ends until the start of the next game. They're not all going to be good. And I'm lumping myself in that, but There's plenty of people talking into a computer screen. After Packers Vikings, I will be one of them. I'm on the Dan Shaney YouTube stream.
I don't love how I look today. I don't like when I get a haircut and then I wear a hat. I get the haircut. I don't have a lot of hair. I mean, we've talked about this, but I get the haircut when the wings start to come.
And then when I get the haircut, now I look, I almost look sick. I don't like it. I don't like how I look, but then again, I've looked a lot worse. on the stream. An old video popped up, and I've got one, two, count them three chins.
In that picture, if you are on the audio. You do not want to look.
Sometimes I'll say, come look at the YouTube stream. You do not want to look.
I've got multiple chins in my eye. I'm pretty sure this is a podcast I did drunk, too. That was a bad little stretch a couple of years ago. I should probably delete those, but. I don't care.
So I'm I'm at least a little more alert. Than I was in that picture, let's say. All right, I'm going to start with the Brewers. They won. They beat the Cubs eight to six.
I think a lot of people did what I did last night. is you turned on the Brewers game. And you plan for a little remote control volley. Or, however, you want it. Maybe you win big screen, small screen.
But I like to, if I can just have one screen on, I just want one screen on. I will put something on my laptop and then watch something on TV. If the situation calls for it. But then I get drawn away from my laptop, or I get drawn away from the TV. God forbid, trying to throw a phone into the mix.
That's a lot harder. I don't like doing that. But I did, I did, I saw the Brewers go up 3-0. I'm like, all right, I probably feel pretty good about this. I flipped over again, it was 6-0.
I feel pretty good about this. And then I saw it was 7-1. And I said, all right, we're good here. I didn't watch the end of the game. I don't think a lot of people did.
And then I looked at the score and it was eight to six. This game was eight to six. What the hell happened?
Well, the Cubs should have had an opportunity to win. Uh, or at least tie, they're arguing Cubs fans about that this morning. I'll get into that. In a minute, but the brewers swept the cubs. The brewers swept the cubs, and I think.
There is a good chance. Depending on how the, like, if the season plays out where the Cubs. Don't go anywhere. Anything's possible. I mean, the Cubs could still win the World Series at this point, but if things flame out for them, I think you are going to look at the loss on Tuesday.
As a big reason why, when Jackson Churio hits the two-run bomb, walks up like he knows he's gonna hit it. Hits the bomb. Luis Lara in the 10th inning. They win 4-3 in a game where they were feeling pretty good in the 9th inning at 3-1. Jelich gets on Vaz and Churio and And then everybody in the 10th inning.
And it looked like the Cubs were deflated. To start Wednesday's game. That's why, again, I thought, okay, this one's over. They got to Gossman. This shouldn't be a problem.
Brandon Sprout tried to make things interesting. Abner Uribe wasn't his best self either. But good start from Logan Henderson. Good couple of innings from JoJo Romero.
So he looks like a good trade acquisition. But the Brewers did hang on, and they get the win to go to 91.56. On the season. They are 10 games better than the Chicago Cubs as the magic number continues to shrink. Coming into the series, my whole thing was.
I'm not amped up for these games. in the way that I want to be. Because the division I think is over.
So, what can I really? I mean, I can still watch Brewer's Cubs and every game is, you know, throw the records out, but I can still watch Brewer's Cubs. But, I want a little more juice.
So I'm thinking, all right, let's really do a number on these some bitches. McAfee. Let's really do a number on these guys. And see if we can try to start to knock them out of the playoffs.
Now, mathematically, it would still be pretty hard for after the Brewers played the Cubs starting last week, the Cubs not to be in the position for a wild card, but I just wanted to jump on them. I just wanted to jump on them.
So I said. Let's just kill them. And in the first game, they lost 17 to 3.
So I had a lot of Cubs fans talking soup my way. And now the Brewers just swept this series after splitting the last one. Cubs are two and a half games. Up on the second, a third wild card there, the second wild card. They're two and a half games up on the Padres, who would have the third, and then the Diamondbacks.
Are a half-game bag.
So your wildcard teams, as it stands, Phillies, Cubs, Padres. And then the Diamondbacks are a half game out. The next closest team is the Pirates, but they're five-back. And it's going to be, you know, they've won three in a row, but it's going to be hard for them. to kind of keep things going here.
Or at least make up that four and a half game deficit.
So the Wildcarteans will probably be Philadelphia, Chicago, and then one of San Diego. or Arizona as we saw. You know, with Detroit and Cleveland, you know, anything can happen. Division leads, it doesn't matter. There's Three weeks left.
Of the regular season, so a lot of stuff can still happen, but I feel like the Cubs will get into the playoffs. But they lost four in a row.
Now, three to the Brewers, and maybe, maybe we've made things uneasy. and put a little doubt in there. mind. I did catch this clip posted. On uh what I still call 670 the score.
Apparently they're going by 1043, the score now, which, whenever you do that, it's always like it doesn't work. I don't like when stations change and rebrand and then I mean, we did it. Do you ever call it 1057 FM? You call it 1250. I mean, what you are is essentially What you are.
David Haw and Jarrett Payton are the morning show over on the score now. And I'm going to play Davids.
Sound bites too, mainly because I don't want to criticize Jarrett because he liked my late-night show. He would message me sometimes. Humble brag. I don't know David, so I don't care what I say. But here's David Hall talking.
And I'm playing this because. When the Cubs did come back. They came back.
So the Cubs fans are all. I didn't, I'm watching a football game at this point. I don't know that this is going on until later. But Carson Kelly. Who was almost the hero the other night?
was supposed to bat. And BJ Murray gets pinch hit for him. And it seems like this is counsel again being a robot. and looking at numbers that shouldn't apply. If you think about your gut feeling or just common sense.
But council's always going to lean on the numbers for worse. Or for worse.
So here's them trying to talk through that this morning. On uh uh uh one thousand forty three the score. Explain this to me. You come back. Against the Brewers.
It was Eight to one at one point. Then in the ninth inning, they rally and it's eight to six. You're right there. You can, you, you, it's eight to six. You maybe have the people that bother to show up on a.
on a Wednesday night in Milwaukee to Ampham. It wasn't the crowd, the place wasn't full. No. Oh, okay. Let's just take a shot.
You know, for no reason. Hang on to that, though. And you've got a rally going. And you've got Carson Kelly coming to the plate, scheduled to come to the plate. And.
Abner Uribe is on the mountain. He's a right-hander. I get it. Carson Kelly was 0-7 lifetime against Abner Uribe. I get it.
Maybe even Carson Kelly's a little bit banged up. I would get that. I didn't hear that, but I wonder. Jarrett. BJ Murray.
Pinch hit for Carson Kelly. He's got one major league hit and it was a squipper. Um It was a splipper. Because he bats left-handed, does he give you a better option against Uribe? Because he's right-handed in a clutch situation against the Brewers in a playoff-like atmosphere.
Was that the right move? No, it wasn't because it didn't work. Oh, well, okay. That's that's it. It wasn't the right move.
Because of everything you laid out. Because it didn't work was, you know. Process over results, I guess. But it didn't work out. It did not work out for them.
And I play this clip. Because this is the kind of stuff that Chicago got when they got Craig Counsel. Like, Craig Council. His reputation. I don't think Match is what he is now.
I think that Maybe the game caught up to him for a while. Like.
Okay, Craig Craig is a big guy with numbers. And he did some pretty. Interesting and clever things, and Craig Tembur because. You have the 40-man roster and then the pitching changes. Baseball's instituted a lot of rules.
that have kind of taken away.
Some of the magic of what Craig Council would do. He didn't mind if these games went four and a half hours. He's doing pitching changes all the time. He's using everybody on that 40-man roster any game in September. Like, he is managing.
these games and we loved him for it. I think that Craig Counsel. Is a smart, he knows baseball. There's no doubt about it. He knows baseball.
And I wonder when that change happens because He does seem to put numbers over gut feeling, and Murphy's more of a guy. that rides a gut feeling. What compelled Pat Murphy? to take the translator with them. go onto the field.
And basically, you know. Stick his finger. In Lara's chest, and say, You got this, buddy. You got this, my guy? What compelled Murphy to do that?
Council can't do that. Not that he won't. He just can't. If Pep Murphy comes up to you and taps you on the chest. And you say.
We're going to go do this. That's expected behavior out of Pat Murphy. If council did it, you'd be like. What are you doing? What are you doing?
You're cosplaying. As uh A manager here. Like, this isn't you. This isn't what you're doing. It'd be like if you're at your um wife's house.
Or your wife's in-law's house, and all of a sudden, her sister starts holding your hand. Like What are you doing? This isn't right. That's what it would be like if Craig Counsel came out and tried to motivate somebody on the field. It's just, it's not what he does, he manages more by numbers.
And he liked the numbers. Against Carson Kelly to put in. BJ Murray in the situation, and he that's all he was thinking about was the numbers.
So Cubs fans, I think. I think there's still part, like, this is the same thing, what happens whenever. Rogers left, and all of a sudden the New York media is finding out things about Rogers that we knew and we tried to tell people about, but nobody listened. We try to tell you about counsel, nobody listens. Everybody's got to find it out for themselves.
So now they're kind of finding out like, Oh, councils like You're going to have plenty to dissect. If the team loses and Craig Council is your manager, because there'll be plenty of decisions. that you look back and second guess. If that's the case.
So the Cubs lost. Brewers have a 10-game lead in the division. Again, it sits cooked. And now it's a matter of winning the NL Central. It did feel like on Tuesday, Tuesday night.
Tuesday night, everybody was watching that game. And Wednesday, it was all like, all right, we're back to football. I think a lot of people did what I did. Where you turn the game off at a given time and then found out later, eight to six. What the hell happened there?
Also. Thank you for the playoff atmosphere note. After you made a crack that it wasn't a full, um It wasn't a full crowd.
So there's more from uh Haw that I want to play here. On 1K43, the score. Craig Counsel, I worried this. I worried that he wasn't going to be asked about it after the game. I worried that he wouldn't have to address it, but he did.
And this was the explanation when asked about why BJ Murray. for Carson Kelly. When you send BJ up there, you know, ahead of PCA, how are you weighing the history of the two hitters that you have there versus the splits? A few prefix. Deciding to pinch it for cost.
I mean, are your rebates, right-handed hitters are OPS and 370 off them? They're OPS and 370 against them. But how about rookies? Making their 10th Major League at bat. What's the OPS chances in those situations, Craig?
I get it. He's leaning on the analytics. He's got somebody handing him a piece of paper or whispering in his ear, whatever it is. But I wanted to run my fingers through my hair the way he does after big moments when he sent B.J. Murray to the plate.
Because you know why? Everyone saw it. Piker Armstrong's looming on deck. Just waiting to get to the plate with a chance. He's the go-ahead run.
So I wanted to play that part. Because that's a pretty mighty line coming out of the mouth of David Hall. I wanted to run my fingers through my hair the way he does. And the score social media team says that David Hall rants. About Craig Council.
Nothing, I don't know that I would qualify that as a rant. Maybe I'm being picky, but I like the the um I wanted to run my fingers through the hair the way he does. That's the furthest they're going to go. This is the Cubs flagship. They have Craig on like three times a day.
That's the furthest you're gonna go. with Craig. You gotta fry him more. You got that that So we are in Chicago. This is where I would.
Object. Chicago. Chicago. Look, I'm going to tell you, I love Chicago. I think Chicago is a great city.
I once tried to move there. I got uh I went down to a job fair at the Navy Pier. And I got a job offer. I would have taken anything. I just, I was in TV, it wasn't going the way I wanted.
I wanted to move. And I wanted to move to Chicago. I had a handful of friends down there. I visited a few times. I thought, this is what I want.
I want big city living. I don't even care about my job. I just want my life. to be fun and live in Chicago.
So I went down to Navy Pier. I just got in random lines and interviewed for jobs, had my resume. I talked to some guy from Altel at the time. I think I just told this story recently. And they said, we'll hire you, move down here $40K a year.
Now I think in T V at the time I was making 22 K. But 22K in lacrosse. is more than 40 in Chicago. And I decided not to take that job to continue. My T V career, which Brought me to my basement.
So, who knows? Where my life goes. I probably end up doing a podcast in some way anyway. This is probably inevitable that I'm. broadcasting out of my basement, but Um I love Chicago.
The town. To preface. That They gotta be harder on Craig Counsel. Whatever you think about Craig Counsel making eight million dollars. And him being the guy, you blindsided David Ross, who was doing fine.
He can't. Pete is His old team, which is your rival. And if they're not your rival, You can say that as you're on the ground looking 10 games up. At the team 90 miles north. That you're so proud to invade every chance you get, and you just came up and you watched three losses.
You can't just be on the radio. After you get swept. And now it's a 10-game lead for the Brewers. And your big line is. I want to run my fingers through my hair like he does.
You gotta be as close to saying fuck. On the score, as you can. Like get this Guy outta here. What did he come here to f ⁇ ? We're paying him $8 million.
We stole him from our rival to put in BJ. Marie! Over Carson Kelly when Pete Crow Armstrong's on deck. That's a rant! That's what you got to do.
It's just so soft. Is it cousin to the flagship? It's so fucking soft. It's it's soft. This is Chicago.
This is, I just. I feel a certain way. I was on that station three hours a night for two years. And I get it. I'm just some syndicated bozo.
But I cared. Like I had a four-hour show.
Okay, nine P to one A Central nationally syndicated. And I knew when we would hit on in bigger cities. Like if The first hour we're on in Milwaukee and San Diego and Atlanta and D.C. The second hour we're on in Chicago. The third hour, we jumped in in Boston.
And I always tried to start strong for the new markets. With respect to the stations that I was on, I'm on WEEI. Don't take that lightly. I'm on WSCR. I don't take that lightly at all.
I was honored. In fact. Mitch says Chicago is a hellhole. I lived there. Council didn't lose the games, the Brewers won them.
Do you just live to rant? I'm not ranting. I am instructing David how to rant. Or anyone at the score, or anyone with the flagship. Like And maybe the flagship's not out of it.
Maybe this is just, you know, how this works. But. They need to be more mad. They need to be more mad. The way I am about Lafleur.
They need to be like 10 times. You stole him from the Brewers, and he can't beat the Brewers. He can't beat him in the playoffs. He can't beat them when the time is. Like when it's a big series, he can't.
He can't get one up over the Brewers. They've won the division every year since he left. And you're just going to be like, I want to run my fingers through my hair. You got to be harder. You can't just say A little Like, oh, I don't like that, and then publish rant, and then it's a rant.
You gotta be harder on counsel. You got to be. Otherwise, why are you doing sports radio? I don't think sport like You might be like, oh, sport. I am a rant coach at large.
You might be like, Oh well, you know, it's just a game or whatever. Sports radio. Sports radio, you know, these guys play it up all the time and. Or whatever. They don't mean what they say.
They're just hot take artists. Sports radio should reflect the feelings of the community. You should, when you're the voice. For a Cubs nation, you should reflect. how they're feeling.
And They're feeling a lot more pissed off than that.
So, that is my. Unsolicited. Probably unaccepted advice. But you gotta be harder on counsel, I think. Uh than that.
It is the month of September. Yeah, it's passion. If you're in sports radio, shouldn't you be a little passionate about sports? Tim, I'm going to talk about this. Could you put it earlier in the episode?
I uh I got so I got so focused on the And the cubs that Did you know that crashes involving people driving and vulnerable users of the road are highest in the fall months during the early evening hours? Tonight Kids got some baseball. We'll come on home. Could be walking. It's going to start to be getting dark.
I got a couple of streets to cross. I wanna make sure we're safe. I wanna make sure everyone on the bike. Is safe. The cars.
Almost got hit again today. This guy, people are speeding up at the crosswalk. I'm standing there in the middle of the crosswalk, begging to get hit. Like, I've got a plan for how this is going to work. Morning, Jake.
I've got a plan for how this is going to work. The podcast? Part of it does include A big loss settlement. From um From getting hit by a car.
So I got to work that in. I gotta work that in. But anyway, be careful. And this is a message that the Wisconsin bike be careful as I'm and I'm trying to get I'm trying to get hit by a car. The Wisconsin bike fed, so I'm going to be in the road, so watch out for me.
That's the message! We're just reminding people: drive safely, keep your lights on. Even with your bike, keep your lights on. I see people wearing a vest. I see people wearing light colors.
Sometimes in the middle of the day. Doesn't that doesn't that's good. Just the more you can do to make yourself visible. That's good. When other users are around, be aware.
We could all do our part. To reduce low-life crashes. Wisconsin BikeFed.org. MC says, Cubs fans I've seen online are upset that the Brewers or Cubs are buddy buddy with the Brewers, even though the Brewers are impossible to hate. They want the cubs to manufacture some beef to avoid being friendly.
The Brewers are not impossible to hate. If I was a Cubs fan, I would very easily hate the Brewers. Are you fucking kidding me? They get all these guys from out of nowhere. Kicking your ass?

Okay. Hey, Bart, how are we doing? What's up, T-Bone? I don't know, man. I just was like, I saw you were live, and I'm a big fan, obviously.
I now make sure that I'm at least three feet away every time I'm driving. And sure enough, it's the law. It's the law. I might have been, I hope I wasn't breaking the law, but now I know the laws of the road.
So shout out to the Wisconsin Bike Fed and everyone else who's a big fan and supporter of the Winklerverse. And I'm a big fan. I watch basically everything here. And I. Hey, I like what you guys are doing.
I have to like Trevor and Luddy. You know, it's a fun time. As if people don't know, I'm up in Green Bay now, which. Yeah. Bart, you know what's the worst question you can ask in an interview?
You know, it's the worst question anyone can ask at an interview. It annoys me more than anything in the world. What? It's where do you see yourself in five years? It's just It's just the dumbest question ever.
It's always a lazy question. Because you underestimate what the fuck can happen in a year, man. Oh my gosh. I'm already like. Bart, I the other one the other one that's really pissing me off, and you'll sympathize with this one is like, well, when the world's over, I'll be gone.
Like, you can't say that anymore. You can't say that anymore. Like, stop because I'm gonna be here. I'm gonna see it. I'm gonna see it.
And, you know, I just hope that my 70-year-old parents aren't gonna see it. Like, that's what I have to hope for, at least. But to this point, those two questions piss me off more than anything else in the world, or two statements, I guess, because. Where do you see yourself in five years? Man, if you would have told me Christmas last year what the hell was going on in my life, I would have thought.
No shot by next football season. And Yeah, I'm seeing robots that when they get pushed are just like ready to square up with people.
So I'm I'm all done with those two statements. No longer are you allowed to ask those questions or tell me. Tommy, what would you say is your biggest weakness? Oh gosh. My biggest weakness I do think I'm a little narcissistic, but I think you have to be in this industry, right?
Like, if you're not going up there thinking you are, well, if you gotta at least like you, I think for me, I care too much. You know, love, love too hard. I'd love too hard. Yeah, I'm a I've been known to squeeze too tight on hugs before. But other than that, yeah.
My biggest weakness is, I'm such a nice guy that when I go out in public, there's too many people I have to talk to. And it's like I can't balance it all. I am my family. It's just, it's insane. My biggest weakness is having to tell people that Bart Winkler is such a nice guy every time I see someone.
They're just like, Bart Winkler. I'm like, dude, the nicest guy I know. I like, I can't. I know it's hard to believe. I know it's hard to believe.
What's a situation in which you had to resolve conflict at your employment? Gosh, I mean, SSP. I think the last time you did that, you just ran up to Green Bay. Right.
Okay. After the 400th consecutive day of resolving conflict, I got a little bit tapped out of resolving conflict.
So, yeah, I mean, I. There was, so we recently, a little inside radio, and I don't want to do too much, but we had a we had a conversation that you would probably say like is an argument. And I think for some of my other Co-workers. They aren't really used to that. Like, they aren't used to on air disagreeing, and like, that was a big deal.
And I'm like, guys, that's. That's just fucking radio. Like, I mean, that's like that, that probably means we're doing something right, actually, here. And I know, like, what Trevor and Luddy and I have been working on up here in Green Bay is, you know, really, that was one of my, I was so excited to watch Trevor on your show when he was on it. And you could see it.
And I know Hot Take Jake had brought it up later of just like the epiphany of Bart, where it's like. Wait, people just Want to be happy while they watch sports? Like, they just want, they went joe. You, and now I feel like I'm stealing your line. I don't know if you quite said it, but like, people watch the Packers and it brings them joy, and other people, they're just pissed.
Like, I totally see the two sides of it now. Um, I'm dreading Sunday, I don't even want to watch this team. Man, I am. I'm not there because I, like you, am a big Jordan love guy, and I do think that. If we want to have any sort of legitimacy around the Packers, we have to back our guy, Jordan Love, Bart.
Now, I will say this. I am not going to evaluate the Packers. Until Micah Parsons comes back, because that is the franchise. He is the team, he is everything, and that's not a shot at Jordan Love, that is just me with the. In my lifetime, in 12 games, I can confidently say I believe he's.
One of the most, if not the most talented player I've ever seen watch football on the Green Bay Packers in my life. And yes, I know that I've saw Favre, I saw Rogers, I've seen everyone else in between, like Micah Parsons. It looks like he's playing a different game than everyone else. Let me take this opportunity to tell you that this is our Drive to 777. Did you see this big announcement?
Yeah, we're counting down to 777 episodes of the Winklerverse. We are on right now. I believe this is 740. Ooh, okay, yeah, nice. 740 of these.
Just let me know. Let me know when you get to 794 as a Cutahay guy. I would like to be on that episode, okay?
Okay. Are you team take it down or keep it up? Dude, no, what? Like, I need the bridge, man. I need like that's, I mean, now that I'm in Green Bay, I guess I don't need it.
But that was how I got to work. Wait, wait until the days they decide to do construction on 172. Y'all want to.
Well, look, I'm not Grant Bills out here knowing every single highway and road and county in the state, so I would be lying if I said I know where that is, but I do know that in my 26 years of life, I've never not seen orange on the Zoom interchange, so I don't really I don't doubt it up here. Here's one of the classic images from 740 episodes of Into the Winkler verse. I don't know what I was doing. That day, bringing this picture back up. Look at that.
I'm counting three chins. I'm hoping that you like. Did a purposeful neck tuck there, and that's not just standing motion, Bart. For your sitting motion. Oh, s is that oxymoronic, I guess?
Probably a little bit, but Yeah, I um I sit down and then gravity was doing its work. Gravity and big people do not mix well. Gravity is undefeated against me, actually.
So we're spinning our way to 777. We will have more details on how you can enter. And hang out with me and Timmy Shea. Epado for Bucks Heat coming up in November. I'm assuming you jumped on to talk some brewers.
I absolutely would love to talk some brewers, Bart. Yeah, I can do that. 10 games up, feeling good. Let's pivot away from the Chicago aspect of it and actually talk about this team.
Okay. Sproat was not good. Harrison the other night struggled. Is that a worry for you as we head into the Stretch run. No, 'cause Sproat's not going to be on the Sproat's not going to be on the roster.
Like that's almost guaranteed. I I think they'll find a way to put anyone else on there. And we had just brought this up this morning as we just wrapped up about a half hour ago. I am More and more Convinced that we are going to see Brandon Woodruff throw a baseball again this year. And I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
I'm just saying that. The storyline and what we are hearing of now, he's in week three of a ramp-up to get ready for a five-week period. It sure feels like Woody and the Brewers probably know he has very, very limited bullets left. And What do they got to lose? He's not coming back anymore.
They've already done him enough favors financially over the last three years now and basically given him $40 million to play as much as he has the last three years. They basically, when the Packers tried to offer Rodgers that personal services contract. Yeah, I mean, basically, what Woody's doing. The last thing Mark A can offer is equity, and he ain't giving any of that up to Brandon Woodruff. He's done.
But. I do think that both of them, both sides, meaning the Brewers and Brandon Woodruff. recognize the situation in the writing on the wall of Woody, what you gonna think you got another shot after this year? Like, this is it. We have you under contract for this year from the qualifying offer, and who's gonna give him any sort of deal in free agency this year?
So, why not? Like, right now, would you rather see Brandon Woodruff pitch in meaningful playoff games? Or would you rather see Dustin May? Like to this point. Woodruff, but what is What was that news item last week, or like there was some optimism he could come back, and then you're buying into it?
I'm buying into it not as a I want to see it to happen, but what I think will happen. Not like I'm not trying to push this narrative of. Let's get Brandon Woodruff back. Let's get Brandon Woodruff on the mound sooner rather than later for the Brewers. I just think that.
Maybe Milwaukee. Which we never really like it's it's he's never gone away, right? At to this point, like this last injury, it was he's not actually out for the year. All you guys are speculating that he's not retiring, he's gonna he doesn't need to get surgery. I just think that Milwaukee might see some writing on the wall of Hey, Miz and Henderson, we're feeling really good about those two guys, whatever they have to do, we know we're going to give ourselves a chance to win a ball game.
And after that, Kyle Harrison has done everything in his power to get rid of that trust to this point with the Brewers. Dustin May has never really had it. Shit, I don't care if Brandon Woodruff goes out for a game three and they're up 2-0 or tied 1-1 at this point. Maybe not if they're down 0-2, but I still think that. He has not by any means ruled himself out from getting some sort of appearance in October.
Maybe it wouldn't be until the NLCS, and then they have to figure it out in the NLDS without him. But. I'm not ruling it out yet because they haven't ruled it out. And why wouldn't they if his contract's expiring and he's done what he's done already for the Brewers? He had a perfect opportunity, I guess, to go out on a, he gave it everything he had.
His arm just keeps falling off. He can't do it anymore. And yet, they still haven't done that. And I don't see who's gonna give him any sort of real. Enticing offer next year.
So, why not? They're going to pitch him till his arm falls off. They've already tried to do that five different times to this point. Why wouldn't they do it for a sixth? Do you think so from the brewer standpoint?
They want Woodruff if they can get him. Obviously, this is his time coming to an end as a brewer. Are you saying you think Woodruff is going to think his baseball is coming to an end? And this is his last chance. He's 33.
But I mean, his arm is like 38, 39. His arm might be geriatric. Yeah, I think that's fair to say. Why would they both he loves this place, man? And there's no way the Brewers are bringing him back for anything that's.
you know if there's probably not going to be baseball next year Uh Probably not going to be 162 games of baseball. I'm pretty optimistic that there will be. I think 100 is probably going to be a better number. The Vegas line or the Poto line is 99 and a half. Yeah.
Yeah. See, that's like right where I thought that was too high. No, I do June 1st. I'm thinking June 1st. Like, they don't want to do spring.
They don't care about March and April. You know, May, they're going to be real. You're going to get the conversation, the decision done, like in May. And then, like, by you get a little sort of a spring exhibition type period. And June 1st, boom, baseball.
Again, that's what I think is going to happen at least. I have no sources. These are all just vibes and opinions, but. At some point. Both parties are going to be like, we're not making any more money.
We need money. And however that goes. I still am optimistic that you probably see a 100-game season next year. And so, Brandon Woodruff. Coming back for A limited time just to how many, who's to say he's not going to get signed by the athletics next year, right?
He's like, I'm just going to take that mostly.
Well, I remember when the remember Knibo was out, and we're like, And the Dodgers signed him on some weird one-year, $5 million deal just to rehab, just in case. Yeah, yeah. I mean, like, they're going to. That's the part that makes me mad about this more than. I mean, even the deferred contracts, and it's stupid with the scuba, but the fact that they can just spend money.
We need that they don't have. Right, that too. Which no one's talking about. No one's talking about enough. I hate to see that.
You say what's up. Q, you know, I mean. Doesn't he have a kid or something now? I don't know what Q. I might have just.
I don't know. Q suddenly became the busiest man in the world. I don't know what happened. Isn't his name like Dave or something, too? Really?
Oh, I won't reveal his name. Oh, okay. I remember it was something really basic. It's not Dave, but it's something like that. It's Quinarius.
Okay. James says, Good to see Bart taking a break from blowing goodie to do some streaming. I'm not blowing Goody. Are you uh are you like that with Cody? I R I have I reclused myself in a Big hot take on Goody because he's from Lacrosse.
Oh, okay. Well, look, I actually think that. What he's done to build this roster, if you're No, I like Goody. Yeah, I mean, he seems like a good dude by all accounts, but he built the roster that you're not excited to watch now, to your own words. I'm not excited to see it be coached.
Ah yeah, yeah, that's true. That that is do you think Dewey would fire LaFleur if he had that power? I don't know. Mm, it's a good question. How difficult is it to talk brewers in Green Bay when the Packers start?
So. That comes from MC05. I remember one day the Brewers. And it was weird that I was doing this and not Chuck. But the Packers just had a big regular season game, but the Brewers had a big playoff game.
And so we did a green and gold Monday and I said, I'm doing a blue and gold Monday.
Okay. And I went on the hall and did a show on the internet. And left him to be on the air talking Packers. I'm like, I have to talk Brewers. The nicest guy I know would.
Yes. Thank you. Thank you. Because there was a weird feeling of Tuesday. And this also has to do with the 10-game lead in the division.
Right.
I heard from, I mean. People were texting like crazy on Tuesday. Everyone wanted to talk about that game. And then it also felt like, all right. This is our last like.
We're going to put the Brewers away now for a little bit. They don't need us. We'll still see what's happening. But we got some football to deal with, and then we'll come back once the playoffs start with a 10-game lead in the central on the 10th. I mean, So, I don't think it's going to be a huge problem for you now, but come playoff time, depending on how the Packers do.
Yeah, I am uh so For those of you in Milwaukee that still listen with Bart, I obviously did a lot of Brewers coverage my time in Milwaukee, not just at WSSP, but my first gig in radio was nighttimes over at WTMJ. And so when Scott Worr and WTMJ Knights wasn't going on, it's because there was Brewers or Bucks coverage and I was doing post-games. Voice of the Panthers, who I represent on top of my head today. Very nice. When I wasn't doing WTMJ Knights, it was Brewers and Bucks coverage with Matt Pauley and Dom Catronio now doing it there.
I've worked with him.
So I'm a big brewers guy, right? As much as the next guy. And I got my start in the sports industry working in baseball, not even in radio. Like I didn't start in media. I started in baseball.
And I'm a big baseball guy.
However, The fir like yesterday, I turned I switched the game over to the first game of the season knowing it was going to be a shitter of a game. Like I just saw this Super Bowl absolutely suck I don't like what Drake May does really all that much. And I think Sam Darnold is a little disrespected, but then he gets hurt immediately. And now I'm watching Drake May versus Drew Locke just because I know it's a meaningful football game on a Wednesday. Like, I am.
I'm just a glutton for football. I totally am. And so. This month. I will transition to the Packers.
I will. Even as much baseball and Brewers as I am, the Brewers are going to be on the small TV and the Packers are going to be on the big TV. That's one day out of the week. The Brewers got to go to the small TV, by the way. I'm going to be watching every single game as I do each and every day for the Brewers, but on Sunday, that's football, right?
Well, now also Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and don't forget about an occasional Monday, too. Right now. I am going to transition to the Packers because it's the brand new shiny toy. It is the, it's, it's like, I will go back to the WWE action figures. I loved playing with those as a kid, but I just got a fucking DS.
Like, I'm going to play what's on the DS too. Like, that's what needs to be there in front of my face at the moment. I'm excited. We had an offseason that's been a roller coaster for the Packers. Matt LaFleur didn't get fired.
Brian Gudekunts built this team based on a couple of veterans that come in and the roster that was built. There's been a couple trades at the end here. Yeah, I'm going to watch the Packers until October 1st. on the big screen.
Now when the playoffs come around The Brewers are on the big screen and the Packers are on the small screen. Like that's that's different. That's totally different. But September, especially to your point, with the Brewers having really an eleven game lead because the Cubs have to pass them in the division, To this point on the 10th of September? No, the brews got it.
I'm gonna still give them my support. Six out of the seven days of the week on the big screen. It's just Sunday. The Packers take priority and in Green Bay especially, yeah. You're right, that game sucks.
Seahawks won 13 to 10, as you know. I would like, I'm trying to get people, I'm trying to get this spread where. We do Drew Locke with the Kurt Angle music. Mm. Drew Locke.
Yeah, yeah. Drew Locke. Drew Locke. I said, what did I say today? He's the most Johnny Menzels of Baker Mayfields that I can ever remember.
Drew Locke. Very good. And he he led this team to a comeback victory. As New England was up 10-0. Tough night for Romeo Dobbs.
Man. I don't know if I agree, since I'm just bringing up other hosts today. Let me bring up a Steve Zabin tweet. Oh, you know, never got to meet him. The timeline was right at the same time.
Well, and he doesn't come to the station because he doesn't live here. Oh. Romeo Dobbs getting killed today on here. Just remember. He led the Packers and Targets the last three seasons.
Inexcusable malpractice by Goudekins and LaFleur. Steve. Steve. You said targets. Did you say touchdowns?
Did you say receptions? Did you say yards? That means this guy had the most. You saw some targets last night. He couldn't hang on to any of them.
Well, a bad drop in the fourth, too, for him that May hit him after scrambling. Man, Romeo Dobbs, it was always thank you for your service, right? It was never going to be a lot of fun. Remember when he got sad that one week and came back and scored two touchdowns? Yeah, and remember when no one was wearing guardian caps until him either?
Like, he was the trendsetter for that. He got sad, and it was like, wait, why are you a diva? Like, you are not good enough to be a diva right now. This is like, Romeo, where far art thou is thy playing time coming from right here? This is no reason for you to get so upset.
And now. I think that I thought I had a boo sound effect. Oh, alright.
Well, you know, hey, I'm just trying to be like Bart. That was my Bart Winkler analogy of the day. That's all I got. The best is this one never ends. Hang on.
I don't know how long it is. Never end. Yeah. Okay, here's a question now. What's the first T V show you think of when you hear a laugh track?
That's too hard of a question. Why? You're a big sitcom guy. Yeah, but growing up every show had a laugh track. Really?
The 90s were like that? Bro, are you kidding me? I was wasn't born in them, so I couldn't tell you. Yeah, every show had a laugh trick. Even Seinfeld.
Every show. Right, but then again, like sports radio and Seinfeld references go hand in hand all the time.
So why wouldn't that be your answer? Like that's the first show you just brought up.
So I think that's your answer. My first real answer was like Full House or something.
Okay. What you have What? What's yours? I thought of like friends. Like, that would have been the first one.
I guess it's just like when you say sitcom, what do you think? I like when you watch shows without the laugh track, like when they take it away. Didn't they do a really viral thing on the Big Bang theory with that? And they're like, this is not funny.
Well, the one guy's just like threatening to kick Penny's ass. It's just not actually that funny when you take off the laugh track to that show.
Well, you know what pisses me off about TV? Thank you for the aside. Yeah. I watched the office live from the beginning every Thursday night. And then everyone discovers it on Netflix.
Fuck you. I was there in the beginning.
Well, when NBC had it or before didn't it didn't it go to NBC like season five or six? No, it started on NBC. It did start on NBC because I know Peacock has it now. And I watched it, I want to say probably I think I it was on Netflix while it was still going, if I'm not mistaken.
So I watched I like caught up to it live. Like, maybe I watched eight seasons, and then the ninth season I watched on NBC. Like, I remember catching up to it to a point. But The Office. Like, no laugh track not needed during that show, the entire time.
And unfortunately, I work with two guys who. Are the worst pop culture references of all time? And I I find myself making an office reference that they never get, and it's a little sad. The brewers have optioned Brandon Sprout to AAA Nashville. Dude, how many?
Wait, okay, so now here's another fun one. Have we seen Murphy despise a player more than Brandon Sprout? Because Tobias Myers is like the last time. You remember the doghouse he was in? They traded his ass.
But Brandon Sprout, man, Murph just doesn't vibe with him. And you know, we we see this with Pat Murphy where he's The, you know, he's tough on you, but then he shows you love, right? He's, he's your least favorite. He's the last guy you want to be your father-in-law, but your number one guy you'd want to be your grandpa. Like, that's exactly the vibe he is as a person.
And, and he's someone that you wait. You want him to have to love you, not... Not learn to love you. Not choose to. Yeah, he has to.
Yeah. He'll never call you son. That's for sure. Bart, Bart, Bart. Yeah, always Bart.
Uh mr. Wakeler. The Luis Lara clip going viral of him, right? And we saw what he did with Cooper Pratt a couple of weeks ago, which. Was kind of forced.
That was bullshit. I mean, that was all. It worked, though, but it was bullshit. It worked. And Cooper Pratt has been playing out of his mind since that moment.
And he's even done it with. Like Christian Yelich. Like everyone lost faith in Christian Yelich at some point this year. Everyone did. Except for Murph.
And Murph's now starting to see the benefits of having him. And he comes up with the big swing yesterday. And we'll still, Jury will still be out by October because we're still waiting now eight years later for Christian Yellow to get his next RBI in the postseason. But he doesn't really have that approach with spro. And he's done it with pitchers.
Look at Robert Gasser. Like, that was another guy. Pulled him in the middle of an at-bat, chewed his ass out, and then found a way to go slap him on the butt when he pitched in Wrigley. Like.
It just doesn't happen with Brandon Sprod. And he's done it with a lot of guys this year. And it is, he is the father-in-law to Brandon Spro. It's never going to happen, it's just not there.
Well, I don't think you were gonna have to worry about that, maybe. Correct. There's no corresponding move yet, FY. Yeah, that'll be tomorrow, I guess, because they have the off day today, right?
So. And then we get the reds again. Yeah, man. Terry Francona, probably same vibes. Same vibes of, yeah, just best grandpa, worst father-in-law.
Terry Francona was one of the guys. I had guys growing up that I collected more cards than the average kid, and he was one of them for like the one year he spent on the Brewers. I really liked him. We had talked to Tim today, and I forget what he I can't remember who what name he brought up today. But Anytime I hear Tim Allen, the only name I can think of now is Rob Piccolo.
Uh is he just Brings up random brewers all the time. And the other really fun, entertaining thing about Tim Allen is. He has like some sort of I don't know, brainwiring where you can just remember the number of every single brewer that's ever happened.
So it'll be like, Rob Peachlow, he was eight. Yeah. I'm like, what? I was going to do a thing, I won't do it today. And I don't know if I'm gonna I was I I have a tweet I want to make.
But I don't know. I might even do it like I was going to think of a number and then what packer came to my head.
Okay, let's try it. All right, so 75. Uh Taush? No, he was sixty-five. Seventy-five.
I don't even got one on the top of my head. I think Laga was 75. Oh, that's a good question. But I think Kenny Rutgers. I don't even know who that is.
Ken Rutgers, 90s lineman. 34. Brandon Jackson. See, I'm going Edgar Bennett. Was he 32?
I think I might have all their numbers wrong as I signed him on the line. Travis Jervey was 32. Brandon Jackson, was he thirty-four? No, he was 32. 32.
It sounds better now. What about Six Six. I think was Bull Callahan six. I from draft day?
Okay, come on, you can't. Like no, uh No, um Who's the guy we had? Joe Callahan?
So I was going to say it was Tolzine 6. Maybe. Tolzine 6. I was, when you said 6, I thought of like Cory Clement at Wisconsin. 17.
Well, the bante. Um see I thought of Craig Hentrick. Yeah, that's that's on you dude. That's on you. I can't I can't help you along that way you can get me away with Edgar Bennett and but 17 Devontae Adams gonna be a first ballot Hall of Famer.
Come on You gonna talk about divas? Um, what's another one? How about How about uh eighty two? Who the hell was 82? Why is Was Dick Rod 82?
Or is he 81? Was Tom Crabtree 82? Or was he 83? 83. He was 83.
91? Santana dot? No, he was 71. Wasn't like Johnny Jolly 91? Yeah, we suck at this game.
Dude, we oh, Don Beebe, 82, Don Beebe.
Okay, don't tweet this. That's what we determined. Don't tweet this. What about 35? I can only, dude, I'm always a number off.
Like Nick Collins was 30. Sam Congato. Ah dude, ah Bart. I got a SamCon gato for you where we were discussing this on the air within a day or two ago, and sometimes, Trevor. He's just got a totally different brain, right?
And you can say that about a lot of guys in radio, but Trevor is also up there where we were talking about. You know, memorable, we were talking about 2008 with the brewers. And he said, when you think of 2008 Brewers, Bart, what's the first thing that comes to your mind? What player or moment that comes to your mind? They've got the lead.
When the Brewers win Braun Homer against the Cubs. Really? That's what you think. Like you're not thinking of Cece screaming on the mound. No, because um This game I had a couple buddies over.
to my parents' house. And I had been that way I was 24 that year and they were They'd never made the plastic in my lifetime. Yeah. And so they're playing this game, and then Braun hits the homer. And then, for the longest time, the euchre call of that, that's why I said they've got the lead.
I put that on my iPod.
So I would run, and then I would hear songs, and then I would just hear the call of bronze. Homer to make it 3-1, and then they all stuck around and watched. I think Marlins met on the Jumbotron after and then they clinched and Yes.
So I don't know. I obviously remember that moment, but you know, so then he kind of like I told him that CC Sabathia is obviously the story from that year and he kind of tried to fight me on it with Braun and how good Braun was. And the comment was, well, you weren't there. And I'm like, I get it, I was eight, but these are very formative years of my fandom. I remember 2008 very clearly with that.
And so now I'm wondering if it's a generational thing of like, Obviously, like when you come to 2022.
So, where we I also remember Dave Bush striking out the side. Yeah. In the first inning on Saturday night, because I went to both games. Saturday was insane. We partied.
Sunday they gave out thundersticks because everyone was so like hung over. The place reeked.
So I'd never heard Miller Park be as loud, still to this day. As that Saturday night game.
Well, now you can't even have Thundersticks, they don't even allow them anymore. And then I remember after the game Sunday. There was a Qdoba by MSOE. It's not, it's not, it's been 13 different places since. But it's on the corner of I think water and juno maybe.
Okay. And uh they went my buddy's I couldn't get out of the car. I was such a fucking wreck. They went and got Qdoba and came back in, and they tried to come back in the car, and they're like, And they I smelt so fucking bad. After a shower, I just smelt so fucking bad.
So. I compared the Churio tying home run to the Braun Homer, and the story is still going to be Miz this year. The story will be Jacob Mizarowski.
However well our moment this year didn't come yet. The Churio Homer felt really good. It did feel good, but I still am optimistic that we'll have a moment in the playoffs. The Churio Homer. I think that ended the Cubs.
Now, when it was seven to one, I'm like, okay, I feel good about that thought. Then they come back, you know, fight back. Maybe they... refound some life, but it really did feel like. It felt like we like the Cubs are done.
I think the Cubs are done based on this series happening. I love the idea that they can get knocked out of the playoffs. That by no means is out of reach if you're rooting for anyone. Probably safe, but they might not be.
Well, they have to win. You got to root for the Padres and the Diamondbacks. Those are the two teams that you are rooting for if you would like to see the Cubs get eliminated, who I believe have a three-game lead. I'm unsure of any tiebreakers. I don't know of any tiebreakers over those guys.
Oh, three-game lead on the first team out. Yeah. So it's very attainable with still three weeks left in the season. They can gain a game a week, and I don't know, again, of any tiebreakers if they have to go at a better pace than that. But that's what the rooting interest is.
I still think that. Like w that Jacob Mizarowski fifteen strikeout complete game like I don't know if there's ever been a more Insane regular season performance I've ever seen as a brewer fan. Like, and I'm sure that it still ranks very high up there for you, having years before that still to remember as a brewer fan. Like, that is the story will tell you. It's hard though.
Yeah, I mean, the story and moment because. Jacob Mizerowski pitching, like you remember, but the moment. was Cheerio. The moment so far has been that cheerio home. And just how many people like.
You just felt like everyone was watching that game. And everyone knew it was going to happen. Like, you brought it up with BA, and we talked about it too. Like, BA could feel it. Like, you felt it.
And you knew when Jelich battled back, who was down 0-2 to get it back to a full count to then get on base, it was, oh, they just let Churio get up. Like, Churio got back up to the plate. Like, now there's a chance for something here. It's not Sal Freelich taking this swing. It's Jackson Churio.
Like, this is. He had a huge smile on his face. Yeah. I mean, he knew he was going to hit a homer. And then he tried the first swing, and you know, it was like.
All right, foul, and let's do it again. He is such a badass man, and to be as young as he is, and he's putting up a season now that. Would have been his best year counting stats-wise, and still has a chance to be, even though he missed a month. And then, all the analytical stats that come with it, he's way ahead of where he was the last two years. It makes you feel really, really happy that he's on your baseball team.
And the comment that you had made just before you brought me on that I wanted to bring up again was: would you hate playing this Brewers baseball team if you were not a Brewer fan? And the obvious answer is yes, to your point, because they are doing everything totally. Ass backwards, right? The stat that scares me the most, and I've brought it up before on the air, and I kind of resurfaced it again today. Is the home runs, right?
And I know there's a large contingent of Brewer fans that don't give a shit that they don't hit a lot of home runs. And there's a large contingent of brewer fans that think that they need to hit more home runs. There's a legitimate stat. That No team since 2016, when the Cubs won it, has won the World Series, not hitting 200 home runs in the regular season. That is a real stat.
However, the Cubs in 2016 Hit 199 home runs. Like they were right next to it. And the Brewers are not going to get to that number.
So they are trying to like 130 something. Oh, God. They're not going to get there. And they're one of the worst.
Now, I believe the year before, if it wasn't the year before, it was 2010. It was one of those Giants years. They were least, like, they were, they hit the least amount of home runs in the regular season and won the World Series. But I mean, it's a completely different game now, it feels like, even just 10 years ago. And if you go back 15 years ago, no, the Giants would not have been as.
dominant probably to this point. Uh PCA By the way, I don't call him that. I just want to reference that at the bottom. For the reference. I don't like calling him it either.
I'm like, I'm not calling you fucking PCA.
Well, and that's the other part of this, too. Like, I actually just think he's a garbage human. Like, I don't, it's not that. You know what, tip of the cap to he's a good baseball player. I think he's a piece of shit.
I think he's not a nice person. You think that was the first time he's told a woman to S his F and D? No, I don't think it was. I think he's said that multiple times in either a joke fashion or a serious fashion. I don't think he's a nice guy.
I with Tim Allen. Earlier this year, I decided that I will be calling him Little Peter the rest of the year. Little Peter. Little Peter. You can call him Peter for short if Little Peter is not your speed.
But for whenever I address him on air, I always say Peter or Little Peter. Because I'm not going to acronym him. I don't want to do that. He doesn't deserve that. He's still going to win MVP, absolutely.
I do think that's going to happen, even if the Cubs don't make the world season or don't make the postseason. Uh I will say confidently, and I said this for the first time. If you're Agony is The Cubs having any sort of chance to win the World Series, that's not happening. It's literally impossible in my brain. Their bullpen is so terrible, and there is nothing about their pitching department that makes me believe in anything that they have as a baseball person that they have any sort of legitimate shot.
And Really looking at the rest of the postseason. Like, that's the matchup you want the Brewers to get. Like, let's fucking get the Cubs again. I'm all game on the Cubs playing the Brewers because that's the best matchup.
Now, You don't want to have that sort of risk-reward of Hey, Bets magic. I didn't like it last year. I don't want it again. Been there done that. We've already done that with the Cubs.
I get it. Hope the Brewers play the Cubs in the playoffs. Should they Avoid If they win. Should they avoid the L flag or double down on it? I say double down.
I say if the Brewers beat the Cubs in the playoffs again, I want a giant L-flag for. Falling from the rafters. I Do you rem So, Bart, do you remember the player that brought the L flag out? That was Trevor McGill, I believe. It was Jake Bowers.
Oh. Who's having a career year, by the way? Did he give it to McGill, though?
Okay, regardless. It was not preordained, right? It was just someone had it and they gave it to the brewers? I don't know that story. I don't know if they had an L flag where I thought someone was trying to give it to the Brewers and then finally somebody budged.
I thought it was Bowers. I don't think they had it in the clubhouse ready to go. Are you sure Bob Euchre didn't give it to him with the note?
Someone someone goes. Has Pat Murphy read the letter from Dolly Barton yet? That's when I knew it was over. Yeah, that was the dumbest shit fucking ever. That was the one that was okay.
All right, we're sniffing our shit here. Yeah, that one we can't. We can't. I got a message from Bob Euchre, and then everyone's like, wow, this is great. Dude, did he leave this before he died?
No, actually, he predicted the entire season and no one had any sort of idea when it was released on social media. Yeah. Okay. My bad. That's on us.
I. Look. I'm not sure. He's like, I thought everyone would know. How?
He's the most sacred man in our state's history, sports or otherwise. Yeah, there's not, there's not that movie's playing all day today, if you want to watch the movie. Have you seen it yet? I am silent boycotting all Brewers movies right now. Mm.
Why is that? I don't know why we keep why are there so many what are we doing I think that Do you think the Tampa Bay Rays keep dropping documentaries all all throughout the year? Like, oh, dude, this one on Carl Crawford is awesome. Dude, Wade Boggs really put a stamp on the franchise. The one year, how about Fred McGriff that one time he was in our uniform, right?
You can't tell the story of Tampa. Without BJ Upton. Yeah. Melvin, Melvin. He doesn't go up anymore.
Yeah, he doesn't do that. What happened to Justin Upton? He was like, good. Uh yeah, there's a there's actually a really fun Justin Upton go. There's a fun stat on Justin Upton that he's uh like top 10 top 12 all time in strikeouts by a batter.
Here's a fun fact. I was at BJ Upton's major league debut against the Red Sox. in Tropicana Field. Why? I'm a big Melvin Upton guy.
Big, big, big melvin upon. I followed the Upton brothers. We're in Tampa. What about their sister Kate? Kate Upton.
I don't know. I don't know. That was all. Bart, what's uh before you kick me out? What's your favorite Rhodes Stadium experience?
Because I've actually been to U.S. Bank Stadium. I was at the game. Christian Watson dropped the ball the first play of the game.
So I watched that whole play materialize and I'm like seeing him open before Aaron even throws it. And I'm like so excited. And then you could tell the season was over in one play. I mean, like, everyone can say that watching it on TV. No, we felt it.
We talked about it. We knew it. And it's easily hands-down my worst experience from a fan remove the game from it. Like, seriously, it was uncomfortable seats because they're packing 80,000 seats. My fat ass can't fit in one of those.
The horn is obnoxious. The fans there are deliberately trying to make it a bad time for the opposing fans. Maybe that's a good fan base, okay? Maybe that's a good thing for Minnesota fans to say. but easily hands down my worst experience.
Now Unpopular. I just went to Wrigley on Thursday for the first time. As a baseball fan, it was awesome. It was awesome. It really was.
Have you never been? I've never been to Wrigley. I love Wrigley. It was a great time. It really was.
The place that I've most felt like. I'm in my TV right now. Yeah, yeah, it was so cool. I thought the layout was nice. You know, I went with the girlfriend who's a Cubs fan, so that's.
You know, I know, I know, I did that.
However, you guys wear brewers and cups stuff because they put those people on TV without question. I did wear a Kestan Hira jersey while I just dropped $200 on a Bregman jersey for her the same day.
So if I got on TV once, that'd been great. Again, Bart, the stipulation was I'm not buying Peter. You can get a jersey. I'm not getting you Peter. I'm not doing that.
I will not give any sort of like. What royalty to Peter? I'm not going to do that. I don't think he's a good dude. I would not meet him.
I might spit on him if I saw him. That's how I feel about Peter.
Now, again, the fans there, no one heckled. No one, any sort of thing, was like trying to be anything more than split household here. Dinner's going to be awkward tonight, you know, the entire time. But other than that, like, The Wrigleyville was cool. The ushers were all very friendly and like wanted to talk and hear about us knowing each other because it's Brewers and Cubs jerseys.
Like, I loved it. I really did. And it might be my favorite experience I've ever had as a visitor, and it'd be rivaled with Minnesota, Target Field. I really liked Target Field when I was in the world. You should be like, you think this conversation is going to be awkward?
How about the conversation I had when she slept with my brother?
Okay. Like, make him be like. Really? Yeah. Wait, there's actually a venereal disease going around.
So, yeah, make sure. Yeah. But what's. This is just baseball, sir. I mean, she.
She fucked my brother and I walked in. I best and worst experiences on the road. Um, just stadium or overall or what? I mean, if you, I wouldn't count like, oh, I got so drunk in Boston. Like, I wanted to be around the stadium.
I still. Uh there's a couple.
So Like the ones you have to like get on a bus for Buffalo we sat in traffic forever getting there. Kansas City, we had a shuttle from a bar. And then we shuttled back and the bar was closed after the game.
So, and we had like left our stuff in there because they told us to.
So, that's for Chiefs or Royals, you know? Chiefs. Yeah. Um Boston New England was fun. For the Patriots.
That was the game Matt Flynn started in 2010. Oh, so you saw that lineman take it to the five-yard Dan Connolly. Yep.
So that game was interesting because nobody, you know, Matt Flynn against the Patriots and. And it was like, all right, well, whatever. Patriots will win. But the Packers kept the game close. Yeah.
Had a chance to win at the end. And Patriots fans were so nice. I mean, it was unbelievable how nice they were. Until they realized they might actually lose the game, and then they were like violent. The Denver crowd last year was abhorrent, terrible fans, just terrible.
Well, yeah, and then you got you know, Micah's knee turned into a ribeye, so that was. I like stadiums that are downtown.
Okay. And Green Bay, I think the neighborhoods, walking through the neighborhood, parking in a driveway, or going to Andusi's, and walking down that street. There's a good vibe there. I like that a lot. Um, I like the vibrant Wrigley.
you know, the street with all the bars too. Also kind of in a neighborhood. I like when the sit like... Cincinnati, the stadiums are downtown. Indianapolis is really fun.
The stadiums are downtown. It's not just about like. getting fucked up. Right.
But like walking through a downtown and there's Bars every okay. But there's just like, you see all the people and. I just, I really think that we're missing out. And even the Bucs are downtown, but it's not the same. You know, the game day experience of I just I really wish Miller Park was downtown.
I really do. But there's something about it to us that's like West Allis. You know, it just. Just right there. I mean, something about it, just to us, I get why you were up.
Tailgating, I know I held a tailgate and everyone was great that came, and it's a tradition. And I go to opening day, and I got families I talk to that have been doing it for 30 years. But if tailgating suddenly went away from the Milwaukee Brewers, it would not affect my life. Really? Yeah.
I am the complete opposite because I One of my other really fun ones that I think is underrated is Angel Stadium. And obviously, they're gonna get a new one.
So, if you haven't been there, go do that. The best thing about it is that they have ramps on every concourse that goes directly to the parking lot. No matter where you are in the outfield, you don't have to go down any stairs. You take a ramp and you're in the parking lot. You're in the parking lot in one, like two minutes.
It's unbelievable. Um soldier field sucks getting into, but inside it's cool. I just really like I was when we were going to that game, I was living in California and I had said, like, do we want to leave and do we want to tailgate? Do we want to go? Like, I was so naive.
I'm 21 years old, and I'm so naive to. You don't tailgate at baseball. Like, that's not something that anyone else does. I think the White Sox might have it, and I think the Rangers had it, but they don't anymore at their new place. Absolutely, I want to tailgate if I go to a baseball game.
That's like a huge part of the story going to a game at. then Miller Park now American Family. But I am. I'm not on board with if tailgating was not at Miller Park, then it wouldn't be. I don't do it as much as the average bear, I guess.
Do they make you go in now? Oh, when the game starts? Yeah, I heard that. I was like, what? Because some people will tailgate and not even go in.
That I love. Right.
Why is that not a thing? The only... Because they do that now. They did that with the Badgers Notre Dame game that just happened up here at Lamba. They made you go in.
Oh, you went? I did not go. I went to the district around it just to kind of see it out. That was on the. Fourth day of like our Four busiest days.
I was in Chicago, I was in Walworth County Fair, and then I went back up to Green Bay all back-to-back-to-back days. Like, so. That Sunday, I was like, let's go check it out. I could never drink again. That would be fine too with my life, but we'll go check it out and see what it was.
So we were home by. 4:30 to watch the game at home instead. But I heard they were making people go in, and I'm like, Do they do that for the Packers? I guess because of maybe the demand of we don't want you to park and then not go to the game makes some sense, but Feels like the brewers have plenty of room for people to park. Yeah, that's weird.
They have more room than they need. Yeah, so I I don't know. I just Don't I I wouldn't knock on my I'm not knocking on it You're just trying to say that your life wouldn't change. I'm saying my life would be a lot less affected than other people's.
Okay. Yeah. I understand. I understand. I'm just...
Like I don't wanna. I'm not changing. I'm very pro-Tailgate. Yes. But if I had my drothers I think the experience of a stadium downtown is better than.
A parking lot in Stalis. Do you need to be at the sporting event to tailgate? Can you tailgate in your Driveway. Oh yeah. Yeah, I think so.
In college we used to What do we do in college? Um We would watch every Packer game outside.
So we would take, we had $10 Goodwill couches. We'd take all the couches outside. We'd set up a living room in the parking lot. And if it was cold, we had to sit in the cold. And if it was nice, we sat outside, but we watched every game outside for a year.

CBS Sunday, September 13th, the new season of 60 Minutes begins.
Okay, let's go. Every second, a story unfolds. This is one of the great mysteries of human nature. Every minute, a new question. You were buying access to the president.
Every week, a deeper understanding. When we take the field, the expectations are to win. It's time. We're preparing to go out on this raid for the new season. It was a gunfight.
All the way in, all the way out. 60 Minutes, CBS Sunday, September 13th, and streaming on Paramount Plus. Yeah. I have some football to talk about. Do you want to join me for that?
Or you've been here a long time. You can kick me out. Otherwise, I mean, I'd love to talk football too, but I mean. It doesn't matter to me. Give me your first take and then you can.
Okay. Yeah, you can keep me. I just wanted to talk um the game last night. I saw a lot of people tweet. That We're only watching the fourth quarter because of gambling and fantasy sports.
That game was not good. And you talked about it earlier, like. That was maybe one of the more forgettable Super Bowls ever. Yeah. And even at the time, the halftime show drama did supersede.
the game itself. And they kept talking last night on the broadcast. Which again, Tarico's the goat. I'm a Collinsworth stan. I think that booth is incredible.
I don't think anyone can accurately. Break down what we just saw and tell it to us like Chris Collinsworth. I think he is the best. in the game at that. And I just like they kept being like, well, punting, this is what happened in the Super Bowl, or a big stop.
I know they were there broadcasting the game, so of course it's fresh to them, but I don't remember any of that shit. I don't remember that game. And this game last night, New England, Seattle, it's just not good football. And then Darnold got hurt. You know, luck came on later.
Drake May, terrible interception, terrible. As Torico said. But in the fourth quarter, I was still watching because. I had Ramondre Stevenson in a couple leagues and My kid's in a league now and he's going against my brother who has Drake May. Oh, that's awesome.
The first year for fantasy for him? Yeah, and I had an anecdote that I wanted to share on that, and I'm struggling to remember it, buddy. We did our first, if I start talking about it, maybe I'll remember. We did our first draft. He's seven.
So I like helped him draft. He's got Kyron and Puka tonight. Um He's got he okay, so he's against Drake May. What was I I had like this great anecdote I was even like on the fence about doing a live, and I'm like, no, this is perfect. I'll lead with this.
What the fuck was it gonna be? I do think that While maybe this is a gambling and fantasy-driven Like football is still just king. Foot football is still just king in America no matter what. anything does. Like I was watching the Like, do you know what was a better game than that game we saw yesterday?
The Hall of Fame game. The Hall of Preseason game was just. Fucking awesome. It was just a great football game. I don't know if any, I don't even remember who played in the game now to this point.
And I don't know if any of the players are going to still be on the team. Wasn't it the Cardinals? Because I feel like Carson Beck was Cardinals, Panthers.
Okay, so it was a great game. and it was really fun to watch and just entertaining and it was football. Like it was what I needed at that moment where I haven't had football since February and now I have football. This. Yesterday was now I have regular season football.
I now have. football to care about. T on Sunday, it'll be. Red zone, the first red zone. I finally have red zone again.
Do you think I do it a mistake? Like, I got my kid into fantasy, and everyone's like, oh, that's cool, but.
Now he's gonna grow up watching Football with a fantasy brain.
Well, if you didn't do it now, public school would have got to him. Or that's what they say about drugs, at least, too. But it's the same thing. Like, he would have got to that point already. Oh, I remember.
I remember my anecdote. I'm glad drugs recharge that brain. Yeah. The first fantasy league I ever did, I was in fifth grade.
So it was like the mid 90s.
Okay. We had five of us. I don't know why. And then we didn't do fantasy again for another eight years. But there are five of us.
We did a draft. I remember my one friend took Tommy Maddox, who was a quarterback, as a tight end. And then he went on to the XFL. I think he won the XFL MVP. But I had Jerry Rice.
Oh. And what we would, what I would, I was the commissioner.
So how we did this was is an 11 year old? Yeah. Nice. Everyone, how did we do this? It was like a $20 buy-in.
But then every week you had to pay $2. And then the winner of the week, it was just score.
So the winner of the week got 10 bucks. And then at the end of the year, you got a hundred or whatever. Sure. But I pulled out the newspapers and did the stats and then went to school on Tuesday or Wednesday then. And I was like, all right, here's who won.
Jason, you won the $10 for the week. Rob, you took last.
So I'll ask a question. Just about that. Do you notice your son being further ahead in sports knowledge than other kids, or is that still something that he can bond with over four other guys? Everyone Right now, soccer's the big thing, honestly. Yeah, that's a big youth movement, youth movement.
Especially with the World Cup. Youth soccer is still the most um like the most what the biggest participation and it tails off by high school. Messy jerseys. My kid was like four messy shirts he wears.
Okay. La Mina Mall is a big one everyone loves out of Spain. Uh Ronaldo. Sure. It's a big one with kids, and now they've been doing a celebration after goals.
But yeah, he's big into cards too. Like we're collecting a lot of cards. I have a bunch of cards. He just like picks through my cards and takes them. I just remember.
Like if I was ever sick from school. I could get like a magazine, right? Like that was kind of like, okay, well, you're staying home and I got to go grocery shopping. But this kid specifically, I will say, wrestling is on top. As it was when I was seven, eight years old, too.
We're going to Raw in two weeks. Dude, I was all in on the Hardy Boys. I loved watching. I watched WWE and TNA at the time because I was all in on the eight-sided ring and the X at the top, too. Like, I had it all.
I was in it. And then AJ Styles was at TNA at the time to when he made his transition over to WWE. Like, it was all the same. Um But When I got the magazine, one time I got the who's who in baseball book. And who's who?
was around for 120 years and Baseball reference put it out of business. Because who's who in baseball was basically baseball reference and it was alphabetical on every player that's made an appearance in Major League Baseball that's still active on the time. And you had their transaction history, it had their stats by year, it had their minor league stats. And I just was so fascinated by going, looking at the stats in the years past. And so I now own every who's who in baseball from 2000 to 2016, I believe, when their last edition was, just because it's like, oh, I got everyone of my lifetime and they don't do it anymore.
But Then I remembered, like, why did those books go away? Why did those books go away? But as like a 10, 11 year old kid, I'm getting to learn how to use the computer, and I would go to ESPN and I'm just checking the box scores. Like, that's like my fault. As much as I love the book, it was my fault the entire time.
But even as the similar age to your son, like I was already like, that was my personality. My personality was sports and sports entertainment because I was still into wrestling at the time, and I've since not. But. I just think that you're you're worried about Oh, is this how he's going to watch football now? I would be more worried that he's going to wanna work in radio.
Like, that's gonna be more. He wants to do a podcast with me and he wanted to come on, and I said no. Yeah, and I totally get why you want to keep him away from that part of it. I will say that's starting to change in this building. Where I'm just thinking, like, it's a little too good to be true in some points here, and that's when they get you.
So. I I'm just Like, ah, it's it's going too well almost right now. And that hasn't been my experience in previous industries and or previous places with other people. I never really was affected by anything, and I've been nothing but grateful to this industry for what it's done for me. But still, it's scary to think like.
Oh, I want to get into radio. And you're like. Nah. I don't know. I kind of wish I could have been an engineer.
Well, again, will there be jobs? Will there be humanity by the time he's. Yeah, I'm. I don't know. Did you see the video of the guy who pushed the robot, and the robot was like ready to fight?
I just saw the guy who was like, I quit Anthropic. There's a 10% chance we're going to die. Like I'm soon. And then someone asked Claude: Are you going to kill us by 2030? And he goes, no.
At the earliest 2032. Oh, okay. Great. I I'm uh I'm not I don't think it should be off-putting. Maybe like did you guys do a joint fantasy team like pretend to do like a this is our team?
Well before you never did anything? No, he's he knows about it. He's seen me. New drafts and stuff.
So, I remember my dad, with his old softball buddies, every year he does a playoff draft that's way simpler. It's not PPR, it's just like touchdowns and yard markers. Like, hey, if he gets a touchdown, it's six points. If you get yards, like 100 for a receiver or running back, you get extra points, and touchdowns over 50 yards are double type thing. It's much more simpler scoring than it is with regular fantasy.
And I remember doing that as a joint team with my dad. Maybe a little too late. Like, I was probably like 13 and I'm still on a team with my dad doing this league. I remember being like 14 being like, I'm not letting my kid ever move out of my house.
So I don't know, that doesn't sound bad to me. And by like 14, I'm like. Dad, I want my own team. And it's like, oh, fuck. Like, this is just like all his information that he had.
He's like scrambling. And it was, but it was like a big deal that I wanted my own team. And now. You're talking about your son being half that age and he wants his own team. Like, I think that he's just going to get to that point anyway.
I um Fuck, I just had something again on the top of my tongue. Tip of my tongue. Tongue of my tip. That's different. It was about my kid.
It was about fantasy. It was about. Yeah. Anyway, I have one more thing I want to do. My computer is dying, so it's in the title.
I want to play this clip from Rogers. Roll, it's from Willie and Taush. Oh, did it? That was 9:30. It was supposed to happen.
Yeah, I went live during Aaron Rodgers on Willie. Yeah, I mean Do we know where we stand?
Okay. So here's Willie talking with Rogers. And I think Rogers is just making shit up here. That's why I'm sharing it. Here is Aaron Rodgers talking about coming back to Green Bay.
You mentioned it during that Zoom call. There has to be an invitation to come back to Green Bay someday. I think it was Bill that asked you about that. Do you have any reason to doubt that there would be that invitation from The Packers end? I mean When I do my TV things out in the bowl, the tour guides come through and they point to the Retired numbers, and they flat out say number 12 will be up there as.
You know, after Aaron retires, like. Is that do you is there a concern about the The vibe, or the like after everything you did in this building, that you wouldn't be welcomed back.
Okay, I'm going to say something about Wildie first, and this is not. He's wearing shorts in this clip for sure, right? Like he's. I've always thought Wildie asks questions like he's afraid of nicking an artery in surgery. Oh, okay, go ahead.
He's always just like. working his way around what he's trying to ask and he's being very Like, I'm saying this, and I'm saying this, and I just digging, but I don't want to hit it. I actually think that I've only ever heard like the tone of spite With him, it just feels like he got never met him. I'm not trying to, I'm not trying to shit on him here. It's not what I'm doing.
I don't do that no more. No, and Wiggler versus a gathering place.
So, we were co-workers, and he would have never known it for a time because I was in Milwaukee while he was in Green Bay. And he's extremely talented, obviously, well regarded on the beat for the Packers, too. See what you're saying. I just think that he's always like, it feels like he got burned by Rogers and he's just like never gonna forget it and forgive him for it. But now, this, like, this is why I feel like this.
interview is massive because Can things get mended a certain way? I remember, I mean, we all stopped what we were doing on some. Tuesdays with Aaron to Here Willie asked if Rogers was gay. Remember that? Yes, yes.
Fucking wild shit.
So. I think, Willie, like this interview, I'm really curious to go back and watch. All right, I want to play Rogers Answer and shit on Rogers, actually.
Okay, go ahead. No, I think there's some people that Have a lot of affection for me, and I would assume. We're talking four or five years. from now that, you know, there'll be fans who still have You know, appreciation for what I've done, especially after so much time has passed. But I think there's certain people in the building who wouldn't be totally on board, and maybe I wouldn't be on board.
if they were still there as well.
So what is that, Goudekins and Russ Ball? Also. Rogers. That He w he he wants to be sad, it feels like. He want I feel in watching that clip, what I said was.
He seems so unloved. That this doesn't do anything to hurt my theory, his wife is imaginary. He did, like, of course, you're welcome back, Rogers. Of course you're welcome back.
Well, I don't know why we're having this conversation right now, the same that I don't know why Giannis has to talk about Milwaukee.
So, this is why we're having this conversation right now, Bart. The Green Bay Packers last year. did the dumbest Promotion. Welcome back, whatever it is of all time. When they brought back the Super Bowl team last year for a 15-year anniversary, And the guy who was the Super Bowl MVP and eventually a four-time MVP, the quarterback and the leader of that clubhouse, was still playing.
He's still in the NFL.
So, no, we're not doing a 15. We'll do a 20. But you cannot bring back the Super Bowl-winning team. and not have Aaron Rodgers there. And therefore He definitely didn't get invited because he had a fucking gang to get ready for.
So now he's taking it as, oh, I didn't get invited, and maybe they wouldn't invite me back for something else that happened along the way. And you're never going to turn me on Aaron Rodgers. I know he's a weird guy, he is my favorite athlete of all time. I don't give. any shits about the person he is.
Always have been rooting for him because he gave me I'm forever in debt as a fan of the sport of football because he was the quarterback my entire life. For most of that. The formative you can do. Yeah, so you're that's like far for me. Right, you're not gonna turn me on him.
2008, he takes over, and I'm talking about how I was eight years old watching the Brewers go to the playoffs for the first time in your life and in my life at the same time. And then he was there all the way. I was in second grade, and I had graduated college, and he was the quarterback the entire time.
So, no, I'm not gonna. Dishonum in any way. But Why are you doing a reunion of the Super Bowl team without Aaron Rodgers? What that's that doesn't make any sense. And so I also was working with Mason Crosby at the MC on this show, sorry, at the time.
to then say No, we have an MC that comes, so I can't call me. I like the gym, but. I'm I'm in it. I'm in it. We'll just column number two.
We'll column two. Brandon Cease? Uh anyway. He didn't go either because he's like, this is a week willing. This is stupid.
This is stupid. Why would I go? And there's still Aaron Rodgers isn't gonna be there. Like, no one's gonna remember or care about this 15-year reunion when Aaron Rodgers isn't at it.
So I don't think, I do believe that the Packers. should retire Aaron Rodgers number As soon as he retires, and they should bring him back, put him in the Packers Hall of Fame, run it up all early like they do with special athletes along the way. He is the man. He is the guy. uh as far as football goes in my life.
But Would you not think That's a little bullshit. What happened last year of we're going to bring back the Super Super This is my Advice I'd give to Rogers. Advice to Rogers brought to you by Happy Place Hemp, promo code BART 25% off each and every order at happyplacehemp.com. Drift. I've been drifting hard.

Let me tell him this. I've completely changed my whole attitude on life. You're Aaron Rodgers. Just be you. And then let the chips fall where they may.
I'm Bart. I'm just going to be me. And let the chips fall where they may. And I would say, ever since I decided to have a better attitude. Things have been going better.
Well He did just recoup with his family, right? He did just get back together with them. He's got his old best friend McCarthy hanging out with him now. Maybe I used to think all the time that I need an enemy. And this is going back to 10th grade.
Like, I need somebody that's an adversary for me. I always thought that way. And maybe Rogers feels like that.
Now that he's good with his family, now he needs all the Packers.
Well, it's the Packers. It's Goody. They don't want me there. Yeah, it was dumb to have the Super Bowl reunion. Uh, without you, but also, if the team wants to celebrate something and you're not retired yet.
I feel like the team can do that. Sure, you can, but it's not done the way you're supposed to do it. I mean, that's that. Go ahead, have a 15-year reunion, but. If you're going to have a reunion and try to hype it up, like...
Why wouldn't you? Yeah, wouldn't you say that a Packers Super Bowl reunion 15 years later is more happening in week one when Rogers and McCarthy are playing rather than bringing back Pat Lee and fucking Brad Jones. Howard Greene. Yeah, right. I mean.
Look, I I can tell you that Jarrett Bush. Jared Bush making plays. Aaron Rodgers Is Going to be like the number one person I'm rooting for outside of a Packer uniform this year, as he has been the last. Three years before? Is this his fourth year without being a member of the Packers?
That sounds crazy to say. That's Jets, Steelers, Steelers. I'm still in on. I want to see what he can do. That's that's I'm excited for Rogers McCarthy.
If McCarthy wasn't there, I wouldn't be as pumped. No, I it don't matter to me. I what did he just What did I just hear that he... Like, isn't Robert Tanyan on the... I think Tanyan's on the Steelers.
And I'm like, he's got Bob Tanya in a job still? Like, he is, he's been doing a lot for his people in the league, right? He got Randall Cobb to hang on long. He got Alan Lazard paid by the Jets.
Now he's got Tanya in a job in Pittsburgh. Like.
Are you ever going to remember that Devontae Adams was a jet? Yeah, I kind of forgot that they did that, eh? You just think of Lazard. No, I think that one was art. And then there was another tight end.
Didn't he get... Richard Rogers in there also for a little bit. I don't know. I think the Steelers are lining up Andrew Corliss and Justin Perrillo this weekend. Yeah, we're going to out of retirement.
Colt Liera is coming back. What's the Aaron Donald out of retirement that Aaron Rodgers could do with? Could he get like Preston Smith a job? Uh in Pittsburgh, something like that.
Well, before we keep naming names, your Mac will sleep soon unless plugged into a power outlet.
So I am going to wrap up. I appreciate you jumping on, apparently, not having to work after your show. This is good.
Well, I mean, I have some work I can get done here, but for the most part, I can get it all done right after. But yeah, Bart, I mean, just a pleasure. I'm a big fan, big fan. Likewise, Tommy, you know it. It's awesome to see that what you got going on here is still.
Thriving episode 740. As we're getting closer to 777, thanks to our friends at Padawatta Sportsbook. That's not the, I didn't end the show there. Oh, okay. I thought you were ending the show.
I'm excited for Sunday. Packers are on the big TV now until October. No, I didn't. I end the show with this. I say.
Tommy and everyone, thanks for stopping into the Winklerverse. Snoring, gasping for air during sleep, daytime sleepiness? I'm Shaquille O'Neal and this shouldn't be anybody's experience.
