I think the top story is the Josh Jacobs suspension or. The fact that he's on the commissioner's list. Kyle McCord got traded. A couple of the receivers that we were really liking on Friday. They've been released.
We'll see what happens with the practice squad. Maybe I'll do a Practice squad live later tonight, but we'll see. I do have to respond to one text real quick, also, because My fantasy league just started. And I think some people think it is a my fantasy draft. I think some people think it is a we're drafting now, but it is a slow draft.
Because we can't get us all together. It's a slow draft, so people might take their time. All right, let's get to it. Josh Jacobs has been put on the commissioner's. Exemplist.
I suppose it's a surprise. There's just been not a lot of smoke. With what's going on with Jacobs. There was the initial report of a confrontation. There was about a month.
Of us wondering what is going to happen. Then it became so long where we're like, I guess nothing. And then now he was officially. Uh charged. And it looks like the Packers, instead of wanting to wait around and then serve a suspension, they're just going to say, he's not a part of our 53 NFL.
You got to figure this out, man, so we know what we can do with Josh Jacobs.
So the official. Story is written is yes, Josh Jacobs. is on the commissioner exempt list. The move is coming after he was charged. with those two misdemeanors.
This incident happened. It was even further back. Than I thought it was back in May.
So he can't attend practice or attend games. He can't practice and attend games, but he can come to the facility for meetings and workouts and treatments and like non-football stuff.
So the NFL is still reviewing his case. They're not letting the cut day or week one or any of that be Sort of a deadline for them. As deadlines for action, but they're not letting that happen. His court appearance is until November 17th.
Now the league Doesn't have to The league can create its own law, essentially. I don't know how this happened. Uh, but they can. The league can say whether you're guilty or not. The fact that this is around you.
is enough for a suspension. We have a personal conduct policy. We want to hashtag protect the shield. This doesn't do that, so we're going to punish you with a suspension.
Now, we don't know when the suspension is coming, we don't know if. A suspension is coming. I can assume that one is coming. It's just going to be a matter of when does it come down and how many games? And the Packers have decided.
We're going to um We're just not going to have him on the 53 until this all gets settled. The Packers did make a trade. To cover their asses a little bit from this. But in the meantime, the Packers offense. And the running back room got worse.

Now, you can look at this from a lot of different angles football-wise. One being Well, he was really good and now who's going to be the running back? Packers have at least brought another man into that room. In Caleb Johnson, who had been with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Johnson was drafted and just did not get a lot of run.
At all, he was drafted in the third round, number 83 last year out of Iowa. but only carried. The ball 28 times for 69 yards. appeared in 10 games. The Packers gave up their own.
2028 six-round pick. And then eventually another 2028 six-round pick. did get traded. But this is the pick that they're giving up. They're giving up Green Bay Packers slot 2028 sixth round for Caleb Johnson.
Caleb Johnson, it's McCarthy's team now, so a new offense.
So he's got a chance to maybe impress different coaches. It seems like he has not done that. Jalen Warren's there, Rico Dowdle. When you do your fantasy drafts, you're going to be like, oh shit, Rico's in Pittsburgh. I forgot.
Lou Nichols out of central Michigan, former Packer, wasn't he in camp with us? A little bit. He's getting snaps ahead of Caleb Johnson. Uh as well.
So Johnson was deemed expendable And the Packers are the team. that brought him in.
So, Caleb Johnson is probably going to get.
Some active Play. He's getting traded here to play. You got Marshawn Lloyd. You got Chris Brooks. Pierre Strong got cut.
If you liked him from Friday. Your starting quarterback and wide or quarterback and running back duel from Friday night. traded and cut. And then they made a trade at that position.
So That's why these third games are so weird. Like that was the Packers. But it also wasn't. You had guys wearing Packer uniforms, Green Bay Packer uniforms, playing in Lambeau Field. And that will be the last time they ever play football, some of them.
Which is insane. You know, that's, you know, there's a lot of sad stories today. I mean, we're talking about 47 cuts per team. That's a lot of people losing their jobs. The economy's humming, so.

So, Caleb Johnson's going to be part of the running back mix. I assume they Just see who gets the hot hand? And they go from there week to week. I I don't know. I don't know what to tell you if you're, you know, I got fantasy on the mind right now.
I don't know what to tell you. For the Packers offense, silver lining. If you can't rely on the running game. Does it open things up for Jordan Love a little bit? But Nothing sets up the pass game better than a good run game.
So, I don't know. A lot of people are very high on Jordan Love, as I am, as I think you should be. But I'm seeing people throw around like 5,000 yards. Like, we still have Matt LaFleur as the coach. By the way, I did not know.
When I did the post-game on Friday night. That Jordan love was calling plays. I was not aware that he was calling plays. on Friday night in the second half until immediately I logged off. And saw that, which I was bummed about not knowing, because that could have been great for me.
To then shit on LaFleur more, that this great comeback that we all loved. He wasn't even the one making any calls. Or call in any plays.
So, yeah, Matt LaFleur, you're a pretty good coach when you're not coaching.
So, Jordan Love called the plays, and that's pretty cool. I don't know if this is something that they told him about or they just sprung it on him. I did get a text from my mother-in-law yesterday. She's like, I think you saw this, you must have known about this. But look at how Facebook.
