I'm Bart Winkler. Great to be with you here tonight. First of all, Brewers beat the Cubs. That was cool. They are going to take on the Dodgers in the NLCS.
As you know, the series starts on Monday. Very excited for that. Um, no, what is that? How do we say this week? Um We got some vacations, but we'll get back pretty soon.
I will try to get in touch with Tim Shea to do something in the coming weeks. Um so we'll talk about brewers. When we talk about brewers. Today, We're just going to talk about the Packers. They beat the Bengals 27-18.
I think it's one of those games like. The Bills won a couple of weeks ago. I forget who they played. It was on a Monday night, maybe? But the Bills went oh, the Dolphins.
I think it was the Dolphins. The Bills beat the Dolphins a couple of weeks ago, and I called it a rich people's problem game. Where You're not like thrilled with how they won. Like, they won. But you're not You're not thrilled with how they want it.
And that's kind of a crazy thing to say because. You know. You you win It's a win. It's a win. A win should be good.
The Packers won today. That should be good. That should be good. We should be excited. Packers won today.
Um But it was kind of Disappointing. Like, you wanted to thrash the Bengals. You wanted to look better than that. Matt LaFleur did his thing again where he Did a reverse and then Call another reverse. If there's ever a reverse.
There's always going to be another reverse. The next play, Bo Melton.
Okay, let's bring him in. Great, Bo Melton. Uh all right, well you're clearly gonna give him the ball. Like it was very predictable. Very, very predictable.
So they won, I think, again, in spite of their coach. I think a big reason why they won was Joe Flacco's bad. I don't know why Cincinnati made that trade. Let's talk about that on the show this week. I think that Maybe maybe Cincinnati wins with Jake Browning.
Is that crazy to say? Maybe Cincinnati wins with Jake Browning. Maybe they do. Jake Browning is no good, but Joe Flacco is worse. Like Joe Flacco in his career has been good.
He's won a Super Bowl. He came back and led the Broms to the playoffs a couple of years ago. I don't think he was that good with the Colts. And I've got some pushback on that because the stats were similar. But I don't think he was good with the Browns this year.
And if the Browns Are gonna trade you? First of all, if the Browns are gonna trade you. To a division rival. Like, obviously, they don't think that highly of him.
So, I don't think he was good. He didn't look good. Um Joe Flacco on the day, what were the statistics? Uh 29 of 45. They made him throw 45 times.
He had two touchdowns. He had. a 90 rating.
So you're like, yeah, maybe. But I just I don't think that Joe Flacco is good. I don't think he's the kind of guy that's going to win you a football game. And the Bengals Just, I don't think they think he's better than Jake Brownie. I just think they thought we have to do something different.
And that's fine too. But I think they like when Russell Wilson was bad against the Chiefs. I think they just thought we have to do something different.
Now Jackson Dart is proving to be pretty fun and Maybe good. But um The Bengals had to do something different. My guy, Freedom Boner. Says I've never been more pissed after a win. Fully on the Fire La Fleur train.
LaFelle. Oh, he said LaFelle. I just, I look, I don't think he's the guy. I don't, I, I don't, I don't think he's good enough. I don't think he's a good enough head coach.
I don't trust them. I don't believe in him. I don't get confidence from him. It doesn't matter what I guy on a. you know TAC board thinks it doesn't matter.
But is he getting the most out of his players? That's going to be the issue because I I can talk about LaFleur and his decisions and the end arounds, and I can talk about all that, but. As long as the players are buying into it, then that's fine. If the players are buying into it, that's fine. I don't get a lot of confidence out of watching him as a fan, but again, I'm not one of the 53.
So if the 53 get something out of him, That's great. I don't get a lot out of him as a fan, and I don't think a lot of us do. That's the main goal. Get into the playoffs. And you would like to have a number two seed. You would like to get a home game. You would like to have a number one seed.

So again, the Packers won, and this isn't a situation of Like I said, rich people's problems. This isn't a situation of. Get in here, they won. But sports talk loves bitching. Let's bitch.
Like The only way anyone's going to be interested in what I have to say today is if I bitch. Yeah, the Packers won, but you know, this is not what that is. This is me, a Packer fan. Just saying like I don't Think that highly in the coach. I d I don't think that highly in the coach.
I don't think they're highly of the coach.
So I'm not. Super pumped. Um about the win. I mean, I am. I'm glad we won, but I think it was a game where like...
You watch it and It happens and You're like, there was a lot of games like this last year where they have a lead, and then the second half, you're just kind of like, okay, is this over yet? There's a lot of games like that last year. And, you know, the Packers are a good team. They have a good quarterback. They have a good defense.
They have a good. Running back Josh Jacobs is very good today. Um But that's kind of the thing you think. Q says Aaron Rodgers next week. No, no, we have the Cardinals next week.
We have the Cardinals next week, and then we have the. Steelers the night after that.
So the Steelers are the week after.
So we have Cardinals. Steelers, Panthers, who I watched some of the Panthers game. And I tweeted this out that Dave Canalis, 'cause I saw some fourth down he went on. Uh they went on. or four and I thought Dave Canalis has more confidence in Bryce Young than Matt LaFleur has in Jordan Love.
And that I think is the big thing with Jordan Love. I don't think. I don't think Matt LaFleur has any confidence in Jordan Love. And if you don't, that's one thing, but if the coach doesn't, that's another. And LaFleur had four years of Aaron Rodgers.
He had four years of Aaron Rodgers.
So He was just Starting out, and I think it was about don't be the problem, Rogers, and try to figure it out. And I do think there's a lot that LaFleur called that then. Rogers checked out of. I think there was a lot of that that happened. And that's not happening now.
But I do think that Matt LaFleur does not trust Uh Jordan Love as a head c uh as a quarterback. I don't think he believes in him. I don't think he believes in him. And so, whatever we think about love, whatever we think about LaFleur, these are all things that are. Whatever, we're just fans.
Fan is short for fanatic, whatever. But I don't think La Fleur Believes in love, and that is a problem.
Now at one point um During the game they had the End around and the end around, and then they love these quick screens of the receivers, which they want the receivers to run. I want to see more forward stuff. I want to see, like, this is such a dumb thing, but I want to see more. Forward, I just move forward. Try to move down the field.
We're moving lateral. to move downward. I'm just Throw the football. 20 yards. Throw the football.
I think Jordan Love is good. He threw that interception today. Which, you know, was very farb of him. But he threw that interception and it got deflected and it got caught. But the decision to throw it wasn't great.
So he threw the interception. And I got a couple of texts from people saying, Love's not the guy. What is he doing? Love is so stupid. I really don't think it's Jordan Love.
I think Jordan Love is good. Jordan Love is good. Jordan loves a good enough quarterback to get you the postseason. He's a good enough quarterback to win you the division. He's a good enough quarterback to win you a Super Bowl.
Is he a Hall of Famer? Probably not. Is he Aaron Rodgers or Brett Favre? Nope. He's Jordan Love.
And he's following these two quarterbacks. That Have been Through The Ringer. And their Hall of Famers, I mean, he's following these two quarterbacks that have given you so much. That have given you so much. And um And now he's being compared to that.
So if you're watching Jordan Love and thinking. You're not Brett Favre. You're not Aaron Rodgers. You're going to be disappointed. We should be, first of all.
As entitled town, we should be happy that. We have a quarterback like we had Favre. We had Rodgers, and now we have another quarterback. That's good. That is a good thing.
But then now we have this quarterback, and now we're trying to make sure that he's something bigger than he is.
So, I don't think every week needs to be a referendum on Jordan Love. I don't want it to be. A referendum on Jordan Love. It's become. A referendum on Jordan Love.
He was good to day two. He had a better stat line. He was 19 at 26, 259, a touchdown, and a pick. Um Rush seven times for 26 yards. I like to see him move more.
Ran for a first down, was short for one late. That's fine. But I'd like to see, like, Jordan Love can move. I don't think he needs to be Josh Allen. I don't think he needs to be Patrick Mahomes.
But I think he can move, so have him. Have him move. Josh Jacobs, 18 for 93, two touchdowns on the ground. He also was five for 57. As a receiver with a long of 29.
Matthew Golden had his best game yet. Yards wise, 86, three for 86. Kraft scored Dobbs. I think Dobbs is our number one receiver, by the way. We talk about that a lot.
I think that can be settled. He's the guy that I think Jordan trusts the most. I think I. trust the most. I think a lot of us trust the most.
And, you know, then there was the defense. Parsons had. Three tackles, no sacks. Van Ness had a sack.

I just I think I think a lot of this was I think a lot of this was. We just are a better team. Then the bangles. We're a better team than a Joe Flacco-led team. And we are not Playing like it.
So, and again, they got the win. They got the win. Rich people's problems. They got the win. The win is good.
The win is good. But I understand like if you're looking long term How is this team going to do? Come December. How's this going to? How are they going to do come the postseason?
Those are the things you look at. And I think that that's true for a lot of teams. You know, some teams like the Ravens, they're what one and five now. They're thinking, well, we just need Lamarbag, we just got to make the playoffs. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are two and three, they play tonight.
They're just thinking, you know, let's write the ship here. But for these teams that are good, in winning It is okay. Look, the Packers have been good since they won. The Packers have been good most of our lives. Who out there has not had a good Packers team.
Right. Who out there has not had a good Packers team? We've had a down year, we've had a couple of years that are a bummer. But who out there has not had For the most part, a good Packers team. The Packers are good.
You expect 10 wins out of them. You do the win-loss, and it's going to be 10 wins. And that's totally fine because that's what they do. But they have not been to a Super Bowl. Since 2010.
And you have a coach now in his seventh year. With four years of Rogers that did not give you a A Super Bowl appearance. And now you got Aaron, Jordan Love, who they had for. Three years Before that. And you just you just want better.
Like you just you you want you want better. Freedom boner, I'm sick of people shitting on love. Every quarterback makes mistakes. He still makes great plays every game. He is A dog shit coach calling his plays.
I do think a lot of the Jordan love. Issue. Is again who he's following. And if I'm gonna choose one person to ever be mad at. Win or lose, it's going to be LeFleur.
Now in this game They had an interception. They stalled a little bit. We got a backup kicker. Do you let him kick? He eventually kicked.
Um I don't know. I don't know that there's a lot in this game where. If I'm a Jordan Love hater, I'm like, look at that. Look, look what he did He sucks. I think I think a lot of that is you wanting it You want to see that.
Mr. Jive says, with this performance, do we beat the Lions, Bills, or Colts even? First of all, Colts frauded again. I watched that game. They frauded as much as they will ever fraud.
They're absolute frauds. I don't believe in them for a second.
So they're going to continue to fraud. But do we beat the Bills? Do we beat the Lions again? Not in their place. And don't we plan Thanksgiving?
Not in their place. I know we beat them week one, we were all charged up about Parsons. But I don't think this is a team that This that you saw today. I mean, Jake Browning, I think Jake Browning might have beaten us today. Jake Browning might have beaten us today.
That's not great. Jake says they're in a tough spot. LaFleur always coached. Good talent to. 10-ish wins, so he'll never be bad enough, but he'll never get you to the next.
Level Uh and that is That is what I feel like. as well.
So Packers win today 27 to 18. Um that's good. I think the Bucks, are they in action right now? Giannis is playing. The Bucks are in action right now.
The Bucs are playing a preseason game. And then, of course, the Brewers. Great to see. Great to see them win. Great to see.
Craig Council lose. Great to see. Then move on. Great to see. Pat Murphy, who was making some decisions that Maybe in retrospect, like.
Yeah, Quinn Priester. You don't pitch him in game two? Great. Game three is a First time playoff starter. In his hometown.
Is that smart? Freddy, you can't be Pat Murphy and think that the crowd's gonna go, Freddy. For you can't think that, but hindsight. You know, I thought Miz was great yesterday. Obviously, the whole bullpen, McGill starting, everything was great.
Everything was great. Don't like that we only got home runs to score because I didn't think we were that kind of team, but when we needed to be. That is how they got the victory. 3-1, of course, the NLCS again against the Dodgers. Starts on Monday.
