Stimulus bill has been reached, Congress is expected to vote later today will have many details as possible. How to think he was in the visuals of your small businesses today and more on Jay Sekulow live live from Washington DC questions right now. 1-800-684-3110 one 800-6841 10, your host will Congress did not look like there were to be able to do.
I'm sure will make everybody happy. Not every part of this will, but I think that there was a consensus. I'd almost like conservatives as well who don't like government stimulus with bailout. They thought we needed another one. They we needed another one for individuals.
We who do work we did another one for individuals who are unemployed and we needed another one for a businesses small business is sort of the PPP loads the payment protection mode so that if you work for small business. They have an incentive to keep you on staff to keep paying you. Even if you're in one of the states were you're not really able to carry out your job, or even if you are it carry out your job and not making wide mass cuts yet to those who are employed so this what we know right now it's a $900 billion bipartisan a proposal. The vote could be as early as today in the Congress. It's intended to blunt the fallout economically not on the stock market sides it so much as it is on the individual side and small business side to be a combined 1.4 trillion in spending to fund government operations for fiscal year so there's not a government shutdown member that's also an issue that has to be a figure as a fan of Ellis walk people through so we start off with the stimulus checks it's less money that went out last time last of these, about $1200. This time it's $600 will tell people the parameters there.
Yes, less than last time. It's for individuals making up to $75,000 a year, or for couples making up $250,000 per year $600 instead of the 1200 last time. One interesting note the Jordan last time children got $500 each under this agreement. It looks like they're getting it $600 each to a typical family of four making less than 150,000 could could get up to $2400 in direct checks and this one messaging when I would put out there. Jordan remember of the President and even editor Bernie Sanders were calling for this kind of direct stimulus directly to the American people.
Months ago it was Speaker Pelosi who didn't want to do that she wanted to spend trillions of dollars mainly on state bailout. So the idea that we get on the other side of an election in this kind of package is available. This can put checks into the pockets of the American people adjourned.
The one thing I would say is if it were for the President and frankly many members on the left and the right. This would've been out the door months ago. The good thing about this as though it is going to give relief to people that needed and as we get into the a vaccination phase of this and hopefully things will get better quickly. Are you still have the lingering economic impact of this that is, you had some significant impact on a lot of people, especially a lot of small businesses which employee most of the people in the United States of America. So I think what we have here and I think is is the framework of something will be very, very good again for the short term lease or not long-term solution. Long-term solution is to the economy open back up fully when we got this pandemic more under control. But this I think I think everybody will acknowledge this is a very good move and the right move at the right time politically but also for the American people so the fact is, the American people needed relief. I think you're getting it. That's exactly ramming it out.
The American people up to $2400 per family for did I get small business. Really this is very important.
If you're still getting a paycheck and you work in small business will be up to get this $325 billion available at 284 billion specifically in those forgivable loans to the paycheck protection program. 20 billion for businesses and low income communities and 50 billion for struggling live and use independent movie theaters. The M's is rental assistance and eviction moratoriums to get in here is airline age there's tax breaks meet. I get it might not have everything that everybody wanted let me taste some folks. It really looked like to be heading into the end of the year were nothing. We know stimulus and I think it took a lot of brave Republicans.
The brave Democrats who who really bought Nancy Pelosi and said were not getting what I can do this record continued audit the American people or the coronavirus and that shot shutdowns and lockdowns a lot of blue states feel of the boats will be right back on Jay Sekulow live the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Everybody music and music videos for your Christmas blaze. What is going to play one is a little bonus today. At the end of the broadcast be watching on Facebook and YouTube encourage you to subscribe it on YouTube.
It's easy to sit subscribe in the bell that makes it very simple and then part of the team on Facebook. You just follow like and you can get an advocate incentive notifications as well. So this is I want to play this out because sitting on Facebook are doing and how much of Nancy Pelosi's pork spending is in the bill, not yet exactly we we know the top line items that affect Americans the most, and honestly I think that's what people care about the people care about right now is how to affect them. I don't know if they care about the extra pork spending as much because a lot of people are not a situation to even have that concern by people in situation I want to figure get the next paycheck of employer small businesses want anything to build it right the next paychecks for their companies and the eviction of moratoria begin, but also assistance to the landlords as well is very important airline industry a because we all get we don't those airlines ought to fail you rely on them not just for. Remember air travel for all of your packages being delivered, that comes through airlines for the most part most of that is not done through just a UPS or FedEx jets that could to international flights, but a lot of that is through partnerships with regular analyte. So during Christmas time.
You would make sure those are operating obviously in the holidays, but that again go back to Nancy Pelosi. This is again just earlier the month and why she wouldn't do this before the election, why not make it clear to the American people that they work have to worry about this as they cast their votes in the last election take less hello hello okay before economic state as a preface to your question. If you want an answer that we cannot mistake it was a decision taken after a place we can do the right thing without other, shall we say considerations in the registration that we don't want the fact is, I'm very proud of where we are.
So I mean this is again the doublespeak that supposed to say she wouldn't take half. Basically if you look at most of this stick happens of $1200 an individual at 600 feet up to $24 per family for there to be more for bigger family. But it's half of everything is half of the LG state at the unemployment but the extent of the unemployment but is adamant it's half, but they extended the supplement another $300 and I think that's important because that gives people the extra they need to get through this look were all hoping that with the vaccines now being deployed, but this can take months and months and months for that to be effective. I mean that we gotta keep the economy going.
I think that they are the toughest three months is probably right Isaac are in the toughest three months and we saw that here were media center is gathering of red state in Tennessee where things are very open and been probably the most open of the country and are gone unannounced last night that while were not doing the shutdowns like California and New York, and since I have that can affect businesses are still open.
This is that restaurants in and stored just as he audit but it's very limited now told big companies to basically people need to be at work letting work from home were doing the wear masks you were not in the studio where mass were not like try to be cavalier about this. So you see is the studio were distance. The guys in the room across from us that art is distanced there there mass all that. Yeah me off. Yes, I'm am holding not been wearing it on my desk and close the door, the master of a masculine and I think that's just that's just up something we have to do to protect those around us. We have individuals here to be in prayer for. By the way one assumes bit with assessments as long as I have been at the ACLJ and I noted longer than that is, is it discussed a synonymous a serious surgery right now part of our production team values. Part of this show every video you see at the ACLJ and all the specials that you see ACLJ's and I surgery right now serious surgery. NASA prayers for him is the mist of that you got covert going on that was were definitive, I can't be all your kids Christmas time and that I get is greatly encouraged everybody to pray for him.
My finally give his name was unwanted and food get just God knows and pray for its senior staff person, but more than isolate Barbara families been with us.
Like Jordan said is been with Jordan since they were and what grade would start planning often 1/8 grade, and his work with this ever since. And I mean this is a young man, an adult who we've grown up with who was as very serious illness and is under very serious surgery right now. I mean really serious surgery and I gotta say this and and I appreciate our staff and following an understand this, we change our policies yesterday at the ACLJ.
And Howard and I handled this going forward the person that was in my mind was errant was our guy and I I said you know you protect people like him all that. Listen, I'm not a kid I got underlying conditions of event we've other people to this. Yes, it set up there now. We got your people that you see on the Freddie broadcasting of underlying conditions. So we decided that we were and implement a policy because it made sense to have mass in the office when you're not in your workspace yeah and I think that's still a guy give giving people more flexibility. A lot of places you are still able to come in.
We have encouraged people that you have to be here, but most that production team course, we gotta be here up with it all so that were still give you that when Scripture desk you're able to take your mask off and had the distraction. Listen to going to a gas station where we are and were in the reddest of red states it with the least restrictions even after last night's remark, so II think this the stimulus package had to come fan I know there's people who are against stimulus is always if people don't like government bailouts. This is like we know we are getting into a rough few months with covert and that even in states that have resisted restrictions there and had to put in some common sense restrictions at least which won't be nearly as severe as New York or nearly as severe as California, but I think were were kinda getting close to that time when other states may not have other states. They may not want people traveling from other state that kind of thing in and so people needed something and they needed something to make sure that they are landlord's work and I have to take them out and so that help landlords have to also give a moratorium on evictions which this does again it they need to make sure they can keep their people on payroll. But small businesses that's all the good try to do not make money just keep their people on payroll statement fire their staff and the good thing about the PPP loads is that the cost of deductible and it's really a forget to forgive and load if you keep your staff on so it's get there's the incentive they're not for employers to fire everybody keep the money for the business is really just to keep people on Sam's not to really benefit the business is just a key people were it's about individuals working amidst the stance of what the process here so they kinda comfortable. What is the processes go sooner for implementation. Yes would start in the House of Representatives.
The rules committee has to meet and report out the language of the bill that actually may happen while were on air. Then the house has to go through several hours of voting on it and and J what they're gonna do is again a vote on this in two different packages they can vote on the package that Jordan's been talking about the stimulus package about $900 billion and then separately there can about vote on the regular government funding. That's about $1.4 trillion, and then procedurally J they will send that over to the United States Senate as one giant bill my mind I was going back and forth with members of the Senate just a minute ago and they expect maybe to take this up somewhere around 10 o'clock tonight, now that's a moving target. People need to be aware of that they would take it up somewhere around 10 o'clock tonight debated and send it to the President for his signature and J just kind of to cut to the chase, Sec., Minh Nguyen said just this morning that he still thinks if everything stays on track those checks that Jordan was talking about could be in the pockets of the American people as early as next week and I would just echo this this this is really pretty targeted J it's it's checks in people's pockets at small business lending in its unemployment insurance. This is a very different stimulus package in the $4 trillion one is Speaker Pelosi.
What was was pushing.
This is the one that you pass in a time of pandemic. Yeah, this is also gives instant relief to people and that's what people need not taken a step further. That doesn't mean by the way, you lose the United States Senate that you cannot honestly some kind of stemless package that will burn the American people with debt that take generations to pay off so this is I think a measured approach.
What we have to do is by the way your Georgia Senate race is very close so we want to take a minute describe without us putting up a list of this on the screen for people watch on Facebook and YouTube periscope. This is the kind of stuff that people are singing Georgia right outside our the SEC championship was held over the weekend vote Democrat get $1200 and under it says not an offer or solicitation.
What they talked about. There was stimulus. By the way that didn't actually occur the stimulus at $600 sets a bad but also talked about right on the line of illegal. I mean vote Democrat get $1200 is very misleading to a lot of.
I don't see uneducated voters like the people themselves are uneducated.
What I mean is that it may not be educated on election law in the in the in the listen for a people to vote. You can't buy out by about, but a lot of people think. 12 and also vote Democrat of Dover Democrat. That's what they're trying to do with this at this without a message of stimulus this semester. Try to take advantage of people didn't know better, and this is the Democrat kinda messed that we have the same amount of votes of feminine early voting now as an S election. I will talk about the election coming up in the next segment. The broadcast of you watching share this with your friends on a social media platform firmly on radio and again, don't forget support the ACLJ were in a matching challenge campaign we are in the last days of that campaign he meant to donate. This is a critical time for the ACLJ. The work we simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you and your family. You forgive today online ACLJ segment here on the status of kind of where the things are in the election and that election account right now is the election in Georgia for the United States Senate and the Senate Republican committee is porting a lot of money as as a demo. Me, Mrs. amount of money but is is is to reach a record. Oh, I think so.
Jake yeah I mean I think it's enough all of the tractor. We told people it would all eyes of the nation on all the resources of both parties pouring in mean of the President and vice President has their attention down there, NJ. I would just say this mean Jordan put up the picture of of the of the truck.
That sure offered to be looked like it was offering to pay people to vote. There are a lot of other dirty tricks going on your feet. Democrats posing as Republicans trying to get Republican voters not to vote for the Republican candidates.
I just want to kinda bring everybody's attention back on one simple fact even with all of the problems that happened in Georgia on on November 3, even with all of those factored in a David Perdue still won his race by almost 2% just wasn't able to clear the 50% to get a run out and on the other one with all of those people in there. There are 15 candidates J on both sides. Republicans still outpace the Democrats by a full percent. So yes definitely have to be focused on election integrity.
Definitely a lot of money pouring in.
But even with all of those factors involved Kelly Leffler and David Perdue wanted November 3, and so I don't want people to be tooth to discouraged down there. It's deftly a national election definitely could go either way. And people need to go out and vote that I think the concern of Jordan is what would your hearing, I'm hearing is the people concerned about voter integrity in their Barbican about if the is not an account right and I think you got it you got it. Trust the system at this point. When I say trust the system psychotic trust but verify there a lot of checks and balances. Now in place so you gotta go out and vote.
Do not not exercise right now. The early voting looks pretty extensive them if it's equaling.
It is if it's equaling the right number came. What is that what you think it means for the Canada I think this is a means both sides of voting. I have a breakdown yet of publican Democrat, but we do know is that the numbers are exactly the same as they were right on track. It's 1.3 million are becoming member Stacy Abrams talked that she had at one point to absentees are ready to go now I don't know if all this would be in yet so there'll be Republican votes to discuss this in person voting to trace. Not all effect is not mailing voting in Georgia.
There's only absentee intimate this request. So now it's it's at the point of the general election that is unprecedented for a U.S. Senate race that we will see if like next week probably not next week is going to be a great great indicator because the holidays but will see. I think at the end of the month.
Is it still that track a week before Christmas and New Year's really slow it down to me that that's correct to be fans. Probably the biggest indicator it's staying on this like hyperactive track right now. But then you get into Christmas to New Year's and Pilates voting place will be open for a few days in our day here today. There and then it's whether not picks back up those final four days Winslow in January 5 summit is not long after the holiday. A lot of people in fact there taking any kind of holiday baby still on holiday. Lotta schools are going back until later to my daughter's school is not going back. They were giving a back-and-forth navigable about the 11th because people were traveling during the holidays it would give people a week back at home to see if I was healthy enough for they reopen the schools and happening a lot all over the place. Some schools are just starting to think they may have in person thinking like ghetto mid month of January so I don't that's the only catch this number is that whether Knight slows down because everything so static as the holidays does it pick back up and let elicit the presence said last night will be there the day before and I think of Monica Trump is there today, she's in the north Fulton and Walton County after both a semi that was a lot of traffic yesterday and the vice President was just down there but then I think it be important to explain to people how significant this is yet one is the difference between leader Schumer and later McConnell is the difference between having a check for the confirmations of the nominations of potential Pres. Biden or not having a check just having a rubberstamp in the United States Senate for not only the nominations but also for the green new deal court packing higher taxes and all the rest that you know like I think your and corrected. There probably is an expectation that maybe the pace of voting could drop off a little bit but I'll tell you the fact that it's on track right now with the Presidential election and it just unheard of for a runoff. I want one thing I do think that officials in Georgia need to be looking at many to hold them accountable for this day. There I read a report that the worst I think there were almost 40,000 new voters that didn't vote in November 3 Outlook that they can be totally legitimate. People became be a becoming old enough to vote. People can be legitimately moving into the statement, but J we also know that there was an intentional effort for people to move into the state just for this election so officials in Georgia to do their job have to continue to look at that have to make sure that that that this election has integrity, even if there were doubts about November 3 in the polling is looking good Republicans that I don't love holy but a lot is retired but that is retirement Presidential race and national polls and things like that but the latest poll out of Georgia, 12, 14 to 1260s. This is conducted just last week a big sample of not likely voters registered voters 1064 people. The sample the margin of error was only 2.9 a very low margin air has Loeffler up by six that their biggest lead every loophole now. I don't get you still have to go vote to make that a reality that's that's very clear that you got to consulting his his Perdue is still hovering that 2 to 3.
That same hole should Purdue up to now. Some of that is been because up to do one Artie be gossip. It was that Kevin number 23 and Warnock's bridge exposes how how to liberally as he will hear my right was preaching at his church and and so that is I get I think because of that it was every bit unit evocative trumpet, Georgia right now as we speak with a massive event and and so all of this attention, I think on Georgia. It will it's good come down to who's got the energy of the spinal fluid interesting though that there be a four point spread between the two Republic yeah I think a whoever I do not think there there is anyone really is always some some one Austin made really no excitement is generally speaking, 99.999% of people are getting over there vote for the same to sides with this to Democrats or to Republicans, then that's it. There's a possibility that it is more Democrats who don't like Warnock. That may be why Loeffler had at least a cancel Republic kids. I think do go in and vote straight ticket, but it may be that Warnock is too much for some Democrats in Georgia with his extremism with his defined the police with this and am anti-Semitism hanging out with Omar and dad to leave and that no crowd. You know it.
Jeremiah Wright and deftly be in the crowd. This is somebody would not usually elected Georgia not because African-American but because he is a extremist from that world of the Jeremiah Wright kindness doesn't like use legs. Lotta stuff budget has done that hangs out with the anti-Israel crowd hangs out with the D for the police crowd. So it's more than just black lives matter for him it's again he's he's hung out with the goat, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright crowd, those that those are his colleagues at his his friends, and I think that's different than a white kid like John stuff, Georgia who if you just a liberal Democrat even though he has no experience occasionally split that is offputting, may be as somebody who's got a long record of really radical stuff is expected your Jewish Democrat voter product of a Florida everything so within days. The votes were needed your help right here.
This is the last couple of days there were literally in the last throes of the last week of most of our work for the ACLJ for the year 2020.
And what a year spent but your support is critical in these specialties closing days of our December matching challenge camping. This is our biggest month of the year. These are biggest days of the year.
Your support makes a gigantic difference so I would encourage him and Artie done so, go to ACLJ.org that matching gift help us get toward goals set a budget for next year where it is going to be busy but that the second half hour. The broadcast is the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ matching challenge for every dollar you donate, it will be managed $10 gift becomes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 you can make a difference in the one who knew protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms are most important to you and your family. Give a gift today online ACLJ live from Washington DC Jay Sekulow and now your dive into a deeper tomorrow but Derek swallowed Nancy Pelosi and Kevin McCarthy got a briefing specifically idea for the two of and then suppose been very vocal in supporting swallow well and of course Kevin McCarthy has called for him to resign from the Intel committee. Wire McCarthy came out and and I shall play. The survey could really get into more tomorrow, but he came out of that meeting.
I think what's even more important is that it's close came out of the meeting and said nothing yet that before the meeting she was defending swallow after the meeting, just for the two leaders of the house and it's close it and ending again.
McCarthy. This is what McCarthy had to say pretty strong statement Nicholas. Friday we finally got our FBI briefing was just as speaker Nancy Pelosi and myself. It was a very thorough briefing no one that was in that room could walk out and say Eric swallow well should be on the Intel committee and again the silence from Nancy Pelosi means. I think he's probably losing support with his own well she she's not one who provides cutting one off if you start hurting her nest. Her vote margin is getting low. They enemy that is the issue.
Boy is that she probably can't lose a vote of some like Eric swallow for speaker will two things are Jordan, first of all, you notice the leader. McCarthy just asked the other members of the committee to be briefed if you think back a week ago. What was it the speaker Pelosi said she said that those members of the committee already knew doorknobs and outright lie because if it weren't alive, she wouldn't be concerned if they got the briefing now. McCarthy and Pelosi got a yeah on the margins.
Georgia state, certainly not get it.
To the extent they're about to get right on them on the margins that are Jordan 222 elected Democrats, three of them have Artie been tabbed by Joe Biden to potentially serve in the administration that would bring her numbers down to 219. Even though there's a little bit a cushion there between the 213 Republicans that are expected Jordan.
It doesn't lower the 218 threshold that she has to get for to be the speaker so I think it definitely factors in data what she's saying about not giving these members.
The briefing, but we need to juxtapose it against what she said last week they Artie had the information clearly Jordan. They don't because they're not getting the briefing that McCarthy and Pelosi got yesterday. No, I think the ramifications look Eric swallow well was one of the most aggressive and obnoxious. I will say individuals in that impeachment exercise. He called the President the United States an agent of the Russian government and more annoyed that it meant about the gap then turns around, he is the one that has the connection with the Chinese that ran so deep that they had people in his interns in his office. While we know those could've been agents we don't know that but I mean they were just random people in this college student was also an economic bundler meeting should put money together first campaign and nobody figured this out while they were going up to the President of the United States. That's what it tells me you up to go green, take your calls me back.
This breaks into people of question of the stimulus. They question about George's well but I did want to just mention that we want to dive into that tomorrow and work in and we are going to a Tennessee will the rest the committee get the briefing that that that McCarthy and Pelosi got houses can affect the leadership of the Democrat party in the House of Representatives, but I noticed a lot of question about stimulus is a lot of questions about Georgia. Rightfully so.
And that elusive pro-life victories as well, but we want to talk about. So let me just encourage you one more to your phone calls.
A wide variety measure about to start doing that we come back in the three minutes from right now about a minute left with the other to get to be about to be a commercial break in the eye. We will start taking your phone calls 100-684-3110. That's 100-6431 10. Let me encourage you to support the work of ACLJ.

All of the through the month of December you can make that initial donation they've agreed to match. It's all up to you see how much they're having to match double the impact of your donation. Not texting the house on the stimulus package that mean however that they will be getting together soon.
Yes, they will quickly and does that mean that I mean, there's a chance this doesn't get through. No I don't I don't think it means that I'm in there. You know this or not, it is never done until it's actually true, but that that this is always the process there's been no breach in the agreement. They're just having a compiled together two very large bills and take some time and 1/2 to have the tax before the House rules committee can report out the rule site. I don't think this is a major red flag is just taking a little bit longer than we thought could be important to be real honest to the at. That's not unusual. This could just be very late-night for Congress. Yes. Okay, that I'm fine with that heavy late-night working for the American people that other job I want to talk to people about will still stick with the stimulus and the and then will kinda move on to George and company issues involving labor narrative we got :-) I limited to Eric in Ohio first day Eric.
Welcome to Jay Sekulow live fire with militant where are national debt moment.
Now that in the heat. Stir in.
It's increased national debt is a has increased only does any bones constantly that she's kind of the cost of doing business in America right now and that's been going on for decades and that I don't see that changing under detention engendered President is not a change in the bog not be listed. If you are trump supporter present truck had no work, no problem spending into debt spinning with that attitude that he thinks it is economic ideas. It's kinda meaningless that it has no effect because those who have the interest, have no interested in taking down the country would be good for them economically. So this Chinese that all the data them like why they like. There's really no enforcement mechanism so that I know there's people who don't like it they think that, ultimately, and I understand that the national debt right now is it can get that there was a trillion.
The 27 trillion 27 trillion into adding hundreds of thousands by the second that. But listen, people are trying to put food on the table so I don't really care about the number with you. Small businesses want to keep you on their payroll and keep it a lot better liar you visit and they that the landlords are getting some relief be so that you don't have to pay your your rent so you can keep your business going, theaters, venues, bars, restaurants, Inc. workers, people who have that work in the canons and industries to that they are there, getting benefit to me family for that makes hundred 50 grand which we up to artist names enough as a small income right getting up to $24.
That's more if you have more kids also allows them to spend money. It's a part of this is that this is not about saving it because it's not that kind of money. This is to make sheep dividends on the timetable with me tryingright you got it you feel more little bit more confident we will be more than a credit card to have some cash to pay that off for you kids not traveling likely right now, but what and it's also I think the key is to this always is not the it is important that money because right people but it's a people with jobs it so that we have more unemployed people so that the payment protection plan. The PPP loan is so key because that's white. We don't have even larger unemployment. Now if you are unemployed, you're going to be getting more money again.
So you will be adding another additional $300.
That's that. Then I want to explain that people more times of your unemployed I talked about that the amount you get if for individual 75,000 since it's at 300 a family wanted 50,000 or less 600 but is also 600 per dependent child saw family 4B at $2400 for unemployed. What are they getting addition of this text is always a taco. If we keep people unemployed and keep give these these increases are to stay unemployed. I think right now the government figured out that the people who are unemployed or just in in they they work in parts of our economy that just aren't coming back right now and so it's like they want to be unemployed is that that their what their specialty is.
Is it coming back right now.
So we but is a little bit less and less time to tell people what they're getting well and a lot of those jobs are to start coming back online. As the vaccine rolls and I were to me that's just the bottom line. So I think this effort is tried it sink up those timelines sync up the unemployment insurance with when that vaccine rollout will continue to permeate that that the population, but this is an additional 11 weeks Jordan so through March 14 and would be an additional $300 on the federal level of unemployment insurance, and just reiterate, we've done it several times about uninsurance the unemployment insurance is by and large a state-based program. She still have to go through your state, you still get the same amount you normally would.
You still have to qualify through the state. This is the federal government supplementing an additional $300 a week on top of that level. So someone in Montana's can be treated differently but just through different program than someone in New York, just like the last time around its $300 from the federal level on top of what they would have been getting from the state level. You know it's interesting Will Haynes are produced pointing this out that there's a big difference in just adding to the debt kind of at random. Just spend more money when many of the economic impacts came from government mandates. Now you try to alleviate stress placed on American people and small businesses. So this is in bailing out an industry it it at the hole and Ranson were bailing out the auto industry here. Although some of these industries will get PPP in this part of it that's keep them going so they can keep working. This is much more across-the-board now. Nobody likes increasing debt, but the fact of the matter is I think from an economic standpoint I think the President's been right that this is not the debt factor is not the factor that controls how the economics are and use it to join for people putting food on the table.
They must spend a little bit some of you know that make the cut up numbers pretty high for married families almost $200,000, but the idea is if they get that $2400 to spend that in the economy. That means more people will be paid more restaurants will bit they can open will stay open, but as were getting it to probably the most difficult to three months of this pandemic. That's what it looks like were heading. Businesses are be hurting so I enough and I'm worried that this is an you know, this is great, but I'm not sure this is enough there may be another one needed. We talked about that before to keep the economy afloat in the American people afloat. II think there probably will be to Janet. I think our President Trump actually wanted the DirectX to be a larger this time around. Several months ago. He was actually asking for $1800 in a check and maybe that would have staved off the need for for something in the future, but I think there probably will be an additional needed just one comment on that unit of the national debt. In this many priming date that the reason you try to get these bills narrowly tailored signal checks and small business assistance and unemployment insurance and then south hold off those other ridiculous pork spending projects that Speaker Pelosi wanted including bailouts for the state is in case you do need to come back and you do need to pass additional stimulus for the people who have actually been directly harmed by the pandemic. You need to keep it narrowly tailored to that in case an additional tranche is needed, you won't have spent all that money already know.
I look, I'm hopeful that you hope you don't need it right at me. That's the hope that things turn around quick enough that you don't need it but the reality is we might and by think that it's the economy going amazingly well, considering everything that is happened, but this is work were entering a seriously much you not like I said were being very cautious right here at the American Center for Law and Justice and or offices around the country now tell you around the world. I don't even know in our office in France.
Now if they been working out of that office because you see the lockdowns going on in Europe because of the spread of this is you know at but the good news is the presence never to get the credit he deserves in nine months, 10 months, we have a vaccine to open up that should be one of the legacies of this administration that in record time warp speed was a success. Now when I watch the mainstream media. And they're talking about warp warp speed in a positive light.
When they were mocking it three months ago but now after the election is talking about is a good thing. Will CNN and MSNBC give the President credit for his leadership to get that vaccine done.
I doubt it. Now I think of a party tray. They were all saying was impossible for him to do and he there's no way this could happen he's lying to the American people.
He's living in a fantasy land with the endless went on and on and then it happens and they were all celebrating it, but the celebrating. You know big business big business.
It was being funded by President Trump at this warp speed level and now it's two different companies so you got Madera as well. That is, is approved and I gave you there's been some reactions to it that have been great, but nothing nothing fatal or anything like that.
So you it is I think a massive success in the Trump administration and one again.
History will look back and will look back on and say wow. Nothing like this never been done before. These usually took years and it'll be something were likely all living with for multiple years is not one time hit on the shot and people I know my age were to be probably give them shots for very long time now. Hopefully I'm hoping that by the summer so that schools are can open normal in the fall, which I think also helps business and helps economy. I would parents can rely on on school lease the school day to that their kids are not can be at home and him to learn through a computer screen back with you to take more.

We just wanted to to two more songs. So we've got to two more new tunes on top of the six new tunes we did over the last basically last three months of what were we got plan for you on this one. We got to the vault for some of the classics that were in a play for. He obviously, this is is good to be a tremendous night, the love fun. I think for the those of you that enjoy this concert that we do. I look for putting on YouTube you. I think we might be there looking at that right now and that'll be up on rumbled sure eventually and Facebook. Of course, and the interesting aspect of it as we did two new two last month we did. Maybe I'm amazed and that Neil Young tuned old man this month. We did we get to tunes, reminiscing, which was a Little River band tune your mileage. Remember that one which I play drums on and then the steppingstone by the monkeys because we did another monkeys to pick out a lot of people that want to hear more monkey so we had among them play guitar that one and I became I mad.
I just heard the cots every but what we did was everybody came into the studio here separately so you will see like Mark Townsend or guitarist or John John Aponte John Schlitt singing in the drum kit to be empty, but you can hear the drums and Letourneau explain this. What that night because we each morning and cut our part and then the editing video team came in and put it together so you can pull all the turns out that we did during the pandemic so right from the beginning we started doing them in those boxes wording to those and then removed it. Eventually into the studio and ended them separately there. Hopefully, Lord willing and enough for five months, or maybe even less of them to get the guys back together.
But right now let's get through my view is on the on the pandemic is scheduled for January, February, March, to which we will get our phones as go ahead and take a cauldron you write back the phones we go island let's go to that rod in Washington state that we get to town in Pennsylvania next A-Rod welcome Jay Sekulow live. Thank you, thank you for taking my call.
The work of your organization as an inspiration to all of us out here. Thank you. That question is regarding the Georgia runoff. The heat that a constitution seems to say that only those who were eligible to vote in the general conduct in the run-up to the blackout.
New voter registrations for the two months in between the two election is a 30 day window. The Constitution state of Georgia has attacked. I get to be resident state for 30 days. Okay love that that was my question was that there seems to been some settlement like in 2017 that changed it, and content. Somehow I just carried that was turbulent, that was more to deal deal of match as far as I know, my understanding is you get to be resident for 30 days thousand new people registered that did not vote during that meeting were ineligible to vote. They didn't presume is that if they were measured about a lot of states it and I'm not sure George will not feel like when I when I lived there and I was first a gunnel drivers license and thinking that you could've registered to vote when you got your license but it's not an automatic right and it again if you moved to the state. You have a license somewhere else. Jim had to renew one yet but it was goes on and on this and there's excitement around this. These two races every bite is a live in Georgia but everybody cares that the outcome of this and the question is going to be his work cited at the end of the day, and I think that there's a very real concern. I don't like it, but is a very real concern. Republicans act like babies sit on their hands and winding and winding and and they want to see miracles happen about the general election of 2020, and any get in until he see those they like trying to hold out their votes as they say be doing ridiculous yes is that that's bad. I don't care if it does is to take it up as I go because I don't like helping Republicans nothing. They did not. David produce campaign alone ran everything present probably could trump spending money was all through the produce campaign and could they have done different things. I mean, I don't know Purdue one his race and and trump did not. So was it was it any but the produce that millions and millions of dollars. Those combined ads saying right.
Trump Purdue truck produce so that the truck campaign could spend the resources other places, should they spent more Georgia is a campaign for yes that's obvious now because I still believe I still believe this today that if Republicans turn out, and don't act like babies in Georgia and get excited.
They would both his race and Donald Trump should've one as well, but they got afraid they got they got I think I think a lot of them to the Atmore interior having you this flotilla's and parties. They did actually shut up about why think I do think that was a problem. Actually, a lot of people I do not, you will rally to galaxies got in the back is yes, you bunch of people at a bar with truck had on so we learn that from that of the selections and the other thing you gotta know you do have to know this is your vote does count.
And this is a national election will talk about the lampstand run through a list between judicial nominations and stimulus bills and funding of Planned Parenthood and judges.
But the United States Senate responsible for in this election in Georgia becomes a national election, not because everybody can vote on it, but because it could impact everybody get the most attention are the legislative items you know the flashy things like the green new deal or no higher taxes or maybe the efforts of court packing, but J how many times we talked on this broadcast about the new threshold for confirming nominations.
It's now a just 50 votes 50 votes plus the tie-breaking vote of the vice President. And that's true for executive nominations. It's true for judicial nominations is true for Supreme Court nominations and J it's it's going to be true on a number of regulatory improvements the President from past to that the Senate would try to come back and undo so really you talk about all of these legacy items all the way down the list for President trump every single one of them really J is on the ballot, not you. You can't unseat the three justices that are sitting on the Supreme Court. You can't unseat the 233 federal judges to alert what you I was going that's exactly where is going. You could add additional seats to dilute them and I just think you have to take them at their word when they say if we get the control of every lever of government.
This is what we want to do J. It's a very dangerous thing to not believe them when they say that all of those things are on the ballot in Georgia. I would believe them yet. I'll try to do it yeah absolutely it is that the front of the town of Pennsylvania is proud to be fun. Call the day he taught welcome to Jay Sekulow live here there very much tortellini really want to thank you for all the work you've done here in the United States and abroad. I have two questions relating to Georgia first question is what is being done to secure the voting machines to prevent illegal programming on the voting machines are going to use and and to ensure the proper data is generated from those voting machines. The second question is you mentioned very unethical practices that are being done right now in Georgia regarding messaging what it's being done to counter message you sent me. I do a lot of work in C4's organization like this would be a 526 so it's get Biden box.com. These are pop up new groups says vote Democrat get $1200 and when you go to get Biden box.com Middlesex he wants a stimulus check for you of $1200 check. You get $1200 new VOTING booth, but it is it is highly misleading. It's parked right next to the Mercedes. A lot of work and see for you. Is this part right next the restatement had the SEC championship last Saturday and then and you know I think on the other issue. The machines have an audit was deployed to do anything right electronic. This was to have Internet think they're putting themselves system but not the out outside Internet and there has been there will be an audit of signatures as well on all statewide of the by the University of Georgia. Of all the mail them out so I don't forget support workdays yield a matching challenge ACLJ down to 50 American central injustice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ matching challenge for every dollar you donate, it will be now $10 gift becomes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 you can make a difference in the one who knew protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you and your family. You forgive today online ACLJ
