Shirley Weaver wants to take you there. And now, here's today's episode. Hello everyone and welcome.

So glad you're here. Our emphasis is the divine intervention of Almighty God into the lives of the church, into the lives of individual believers. Everyone that knows the Lord, that has the born-again experience, realizes the special time we live in now, not only a basic season, a limited season, but this expanse of several years, so very pregnant with destiny, prophecy fulfilled, so, so much. April 2023 is so interesting in this regard as we look at the miraculous. Again, divine interventions by the Lord in the lives of His people, supernatural outcomes. Did I say miracles?

Probably several times. It is true. Right in front of our eyes, we see an outpouring different from what we've seen last year, year before, year before that. This April is so prophetic for believers, a celebration, of course, of the Lord's resurrection, also the commemoration of the Jewish Passover. So there's an experience here that is vast, experiencing the Lord in so many special ways, plus the current revival atmosphere that just naturally draws us to stay close to Him, to listen well, not only, as we've said in an earlier podcast, not only to hear, but to listen, to listen well, receive what's being said, and to reverse, excuse me, rehearse the vision out loud. You need to declare the word of the Lord that you have.

What God has said to you specifically, declare, charge the atmosphere around you, inside your home, workplace, in the sphere of your influence, with a declaration of God's word to you, His specific calling, the way that unfolds right now, to the degree that you know that, and understand it, declare it, so that, here's why, really important, you can then align with it, align your home, your workplace, your sphere of influence. You have to be thinking this way in order to fully activate this way, and you need to remember, in the process, there is a vulnerable side, which the enemy will optimize if you neglect to just recognize that fact. No fear here. He doesn't have the upper hand. He's not the boss, and He definitely doesn't have the keys, okay? But our role, give Him no place. Give Him no place.

Our weapons are not carnal. They're mighty through God instead, so just go ahead, pull down every stronghold. Like, recognize it, encounter it, then pull it down, especially any stronghold of unbelief. Declare that the Lord is on your side. His presence is everything. Your life is triune.

You are spirit, soul, and body, right? So remember that regular times of refreshing protect you. They guard you.

Times of rest and refreshing are guardrails to protect your path, keep you in the vision so that you are protected today, postured for tomorrow. Here's the verse, Psalm 124, one, if it had not been for the Lord who was on our side, and there's a little chorus that goes, where would we be? If it had not been for the Lord who was on our side, things would be different. However, comma, He is on our side, and we are on His side.

Powerful combination. Why is this so important? Here's the question. And why now? Because in our day, answer to that question, in our day, clarity of God-given vision for many believers is dimming.

It's growing less. I just read C.S. Lewis on the doctrine of the fall, the doctrine of the fall.

I'll just read. The sin concept that is important is not just social morality, rather something deeper. This sin has been described by St. Augustine as the result of pride, of the movement whereby a creature, that is us, are essentially a creature dependent on the principle of existence that lies not in itself, but in another.

Let me say that again. Essentially, this creature is essentially dependent on the existence of another. So relating to us, our existence depends on our Creator.

So back it up again. The movement of pride is where this creature tries to set up on its own to exist for itself. Such sin requires no complex social conditions, no extended experience, no great individual development. He goes on, from the moment a creature becomes aware of God as God and of itself as self, the terrible alternative of choosing God or self for the center to be the center is opened. This sin is committed daily by young children and ignorant peasants, as well as by sophisticated persons.

By solitaries, no less than by those who actually live and engage the society. It is in the fall in every individual life, and in each day of each individual life, the basic sin behind all particular sins. At this very moment, you and I are either committing it, or we are about to commit it, or repenting it.

Say that again. In every instance of individual life, at every moment, you and I are either committing this sin, about to commit this sin, or repenting of it. So this, from C.S. Lewis, is a perfect segue to answer our question, what is the importance of the prophetic aspect, the pivotal aspect of this revival time, this important month of resurrection celebration we enter now, what is the importance, as we've just read, so much is at stake from our vulnerable side, so we reach into Christianity's Holy Week, 11 days in the month of April on the calendar 2023. That would include Palm Sunday, Monday, Thursday, which is the last day of the Lenten period, followed the next day by Good Friday, and ultimately, you know, the pinnacle of our celebration, it's Resurrection Day, or some say Resurrection Sunday, others say Resurrection Morning, it's all of that, sometimes the church calendar just says Easter, and that term is familiar to many as well. This Holy Week belongs to Christianity, and it begins on the second day of April, Sunday, April 2nd, plus something to consider this year, according to the Gregorian calendar, that's our calendar, plus the Jewish lunar calendar, we see an 11-day period, actually, that includes celebration and commemoration that begins April 2nd, but also includes not just Holy Week, but it includes sort of right in the middle, sandwiched right there in the middle, the Jewish Passover, which of course is so important to Christianity's Jewish heritage.

The Jewish Passover begins after Palm Sunday and ends April 13. So this 11-day period, April 2nd through 13, 11 days of very rich Bible expression, and you know, it just feels like something is special this year, all of that compacted together, certainly, certainly the impact is so demonstrative, so dynamic, so pregnant with influence and effect in so many ways across the board, this is like to me, it reminds me of Psalm 122, verse 6, concerning, the psalmist writes concerning Jerusalem, that Jerusalem is two cities, the heavenly city above and the earthly city below, heavenly Jerusalem above, earthly Jerusalem below, and the psalmist says it is a city compacting together, and one way to read that, and I personally believe a right commentary here, is the two come closer together, move closer together as we approach the return of our Lord and the rapture, the catching away of the church. And so this speaks prophetically ultimately to that shift, heaven to earth, heaven to earth, and if you make that comparison to our time right now, if the two Jerusalems are compacting together, moving closer together as we approach the return of the Lord, certainly in every way in the time in which we now live, things are moving, they're moving closer together, heaven is moving closer to earth, we are sensing it more, we are hearing it more, feeling it more, and our role is to fully occupy in this time. That means in every place we live His expression through us, in this holy time especially, you know, in this holy week, in this 11-day period, the air, the atmosphere is supercharged with expectation.

So just in closing here, here's our expectation. Our expectation is great in our celebration and worship. Our expectation is great concerning this revival atmosphere that is increasing daily, and our expectation especially is of Christ's soon return. How fabulous and spectacular is that, and what a time to be alive. You have a front row seat as end time events unfold, and so you, more than anyone, or as much as anyone should say, He is risen, He is risen indeed. Hallelujah.
