The Bible describes the 144,000 as glorious witnesses who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins, and they follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These men are victorious soldiers in the battle, and they inspire us to live godly lives in view of eternity. The Bible also speaks of angels who appear in the book of Revelation, proclaiming the eternal gospel to those who dwell on earth, and executing judgment on unbelievers. The eternal gospel is the same as Jesus, the same yesterday, today, and forever, and it is the good news of God's grace and the forgiveness of sin.

Welcome to PowerPoint with Jack Graham. If you are a believer in Christ by the grace of God, you will endure to the end, kept by the power of God. If you are a genuine Christ follower, you will persevere. On today's PowerPoint, Dr. Graham brings a message about your role in the battle to end all battles.

Now here's Dr. Graham with his message. Mine eyes have seen the glory.

Now, I want to invite you to take God's word and turn to the Revelation chapter 14. Beginning in verse 1, Revelation 14, and then I looked. And behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb. And with him 144,000 who had his name and his father's name written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, like the roar of many waters, and like the sound of loud thunder.

The voice that I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps. And they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. It is these. who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins.

It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb. And in their mouth no lie was found, for they are blameless. Verse 6. Then I saw another angel.

Flying directly overhead with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. And he said with a loud voice, Fear God and give him glory. Because the hour of judgment. His judgment has come. And worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea, and the springs of water.

And another angel, a second, followed, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the Great, she who has made all nations drink of the passion of her sexual immorality. And another angel, a third, followed them saying, With a loud voice, if anyone worships the beast and his image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he will also drink the wine of God's wrath. Poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulphur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke. Of their torment goes up forever.

And ever. And they have no rest. Day. or night. These worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.

Here? is a call for the endurance of the saints. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, write this. Blessed. are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.

Blessed Indeed. Says the Spirit. that they may rest from their labors. and their deeds. Follow them.

I want you to see first in Revelation 14. Glorious witnesses. It's all about the glory. Mine eyes have seen the glory.

And so, first, glorious witnesses. As we read this, you couldn't help but see, I hope, a contrast between chapters 13 and 14. Chapter 13 is all about the Antichrist. Chapter 14 is all about the Christ. Verse 1, we meet again the 144,000.

144,000. Jewish evangelists. We met them earlier in the book of Revelation. Men who were like Daniel's and Paul's and Joseph's and great Old Testament saints and New Testament saints, wrapped into one, spreading the good news of Christ throughout the earth. They are called the servants of God.

And now they are located on Mount Zion. Which is both a reference to Zion in Israel and with. Mount Zion, there comes the heavenly Jerusalem, and so either way, Mount Zion represents eternity with Christ. These are the servants of God, and these 144,000, along with multitudes of others in heaven, inspire us to live godly lives in view. of eternity.

These men are faithful. Godly Holy, glorious witnesses of Christ, committed evangelists, 144,000 of them. As I said, they rise up in the midst of the tribulation and in the worst time in human history, according to Jesus. No time like it before or since the tribulation, Jesus said. These men are victorious soldiers in the battle.

No wonder we hear The words, mine eyes have seen the glory. They saw the glory. They are victorious soldiers of the cross. And they inspire us today, like the great cloud of witnesses in Hebrews chapter 12, seeing that we are encompassed about by the great sacrifice of those who have come before us, those whose faith fought for our freedom, seeing that we are encouraged and blessed and motivated by this great cloud of witnesses. How should we then live in our generation?

in view of eternity.

Well, a couple of things I want to mention. Let's talk about the fact that we are secure in Christ. Secured. These 144,000 bear the mark of the Lord. Not the mark of the beast.

They are sealed. by the Spirit of God, according to verse 1. They represent all triumphant Christians who fight the good fight and emerge rewarded and victorious on the other side. These men are tried and true survivors. Every one of them wins.

Why? Because they are secured. By the seal of God.

Something that I saw here. Truly bless me. The Bible does not say of the 144,000 before the throne of God. that there were 143,999 of them. Not one is missing.

Amen. of these valuate, victorious men. Are present before the throne of God, preserved. God kept them all. Not one is left behind.

What a promise that is to every child of God, sealed by the Holy Spirit. And we all are in Christ, selected and sealed by the Spirit of God. Every true believer is protected and preserved. And one day, like these, we will be standing. On Mount Zion in the presence of our Lord.

In other words, we are in Christ. Eternally Secure. Because we have been saved and are being saved, we are sealed, we are secured. Keep your place there in Revelation chapter 14. And go with me to a great passage in John chapter 10, the words of Jesus.

regarding our security in him. Verses 28, 29, and 30. I give them eternal life. And they will never Perish. And no one will snatch them out of my hand.

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of my Father's hand. No matter what may come. You are going home. to him. No matter what.

Your faith in Jesus will last. Your victory is certain.

Now let me be clear. It doesn't mean that all who say they are saved and are going to heaven are actually. Getting there. It doesn't mean that those who profess Christianity are all going to heaven. No, not indeed, because all of us.

know people who Who followed Christ for a while and then quit. They abandoned. The faith. They walked away. From there Their belief.

They didn't live. the life that they profess because they profess something they never possess. Endurance is the mark of the believer, the true. Believe them. If you are a believer in Christ, by the grace of God, you will endure to the end, kept by the power of God.

If you are a genuine Christ follower, you will persevere. Not in perfection because we all fail and fall on our faces at times. But Because Christ himself perseveres in us. 1 Peter chapter 1 verse 5. Tells us that we are kept.

By the power of God, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. We are in. God's grip. Secure. Because the Spirit perseveres in us.

Chapter 14 of Revelation, verse 13, when it says, The Spirit says, Write this down, blessed are they who die in the Lord. The Spirit of God rejoices. Because it is the Spirit who worked in us and with us. Philippians 1:6 says, He who began the good work in you will perform it, will perfect it. We'll bring it to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.

Now, let's get back to today's message. Mine eyes have seen the glory.

We're told in verses 2 and 3 that those in heaven began singing this Heavenly song. That heaven and earth together are resounding with a new song of thunderous, triumphant. Praise. These 144,000 Have a select and special song that they sing. in heaven.

And what is that song? It is the sweet, sweet song of salvation. It is the song. Yeah. Redemption.

And whether in new songs or old songs, it is forever green in him, it is life in him. In life, We sing this new song. The psalmist said it in Psalm 40 that he has put a new song in my heart. He spoke of being down in the pit and broken, but the Lord lifted him up and put a new song in his heart. And here on this earth, we have a song to sing.

He gives songs in the night. And our songs represent our worship, but also our testimonies. Because when we sing and when we worship our God. The one who is worthy, we are sharing our faith and showing our testimony. The psalmist said, I will sing the new song and people will see it.

See the song. That's why it's always important when You live, and certainly when you come to worship, that you worship with us, that you sing the songs. You're not too cool for school, that you can't sing the songs. Worship the Lord Jesus Christ. Did you know that angels are worshiping in glory and that worshipers and they are also worshiping with us?

And they're watching how we worship. They are. I'll tell you someone else who's watching your worship, and that's your children. And your grandchildren. When your children worship with you.

What do they see? Children know whether you are a sincere And committed worshiper of Jesus Christ. Those little eyes look up at you during times of worship, during times of the word, and they know, Dad, they know, Mom, whether or not you're in or out. Worship. These songs that they sing are second coming songs.

Gloria. Glory. Glory. Hallelujah. His truth is marching on.

But not only are these before the throne of God. Sealed, they are saved, they are standing. but they are sanctified. Look at verse 4. Very interesting verse regarding these men.

It says, It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are. Virgins. And it is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits of God. and the lamb.

Key words, they were not defiled. And specifically, He brings up they were not defiled. with women in any way. This does not mean taking the entire Word of God that These were Necessarily celibate, or that the Bible teaches celibacy to those who preach the gospel or those who live the gospel, or that in some way God opposes marriage. But rather These are men who kept their vows of purity.

Whether unmarried or Married. And it speaks loudly to the call of every Christian to be morally pure. And also spiritually pure. Are you pure? Spiritually, Morally Do you have an undefiled as these men?

An undefiled Why? The scripture says In chapter 14. That these men were blameless. Not Not perfect. but blameless before The world.

They were spotless. Blameless. And they were steadfast. Verse 4 says, They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. I love this.

Loyal, faithful, truthful. They spoke no lies. Christianity has been described, the Christian faith has been described as a long obedience in the same direction. And when we follow Him wherever He goes, it is in keeping His commands and living in obedience to Him. that our witness would be strong and true.

These 144,000, all present before the throne, led many to Christ, millions really, to Christ during the tribulation. It says they spoke no lie. They lived the truth. They told the truth. They spoke the truth.

They believed the truth. They shared the truth. They were faithful witnesses of Christ. They inspire us to this day. These glorious Witnesses.

Secondly, I want you to see glorious warriors. The glorious warriors of chapter 14, and I'm speaking of angels who appear. Then I saw another angel, verse 6, flying directly overhead with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. And he said with a loud voice, Fear God and let him give glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. And worship him who has made heaven and earth, the sea, and the springs of water.

Angels are prominent in the Bible and especially in the book of Revelation. Angels are active, aggressively active at the end of the age. Angel activity has not decreased but increased. in the final years of human history. They appear in scripture, these angelic beings.

and they are active today in the lives of believers. guiding us, guarding us. Angels will accompany Christ when he returns. They will gather unbelievers for the final judgment. They will execute the outpouring as noted here in Revelation 14.

They will execute the final outpouring of God's wrath. They make heavenly announcements regarding the future and the world. They offer continuous praise and worship before the throne of God. Here are angels. who are preaching The everlasting gospel and executing judgment on un Believers.

I love the fact that it says here that this one angel, this massive Man angel. cries out in heaven. the words of the everlasting gospel.

Now typically Only Christians can preach the gospel. Why? Because only believers and followers of Jesus have been redeemed. Angels have never been. Redeemed.

having lived in a sinless state, there is No need for repentance or redemption among the angels. And the holy angels, that is. And so angels are not involved in Evangelism per se. Personally. For example.

When Peter and John were in prison in the book of Acts. The angels showed up and got them out of prison. open the prison doors. But the angels told them to do something that only men and women can do and angels can't do. The angels said, Now you go, stand, and speak.

Again, all the words of this life. The angel could get them out of jail, but he couldn't go with the gospel. I've often thought that angels must be extremely frustrating. At how recalcitrant we are, and often rebellious we are in not sharing the gospel. They're no doubt ready to go.

And so now this angel. In the last days, gets to go. And what does he preach? What does he say? He preaches, proclaims.

the eternal or the everlasting gospel. And what is that? It is the eternal gospel, the same. as Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. It's the same.

eternal gospel of the cross and the resurrection. The gospel is the good news of God's grace and the forgiveness of sin. That we as sinners can be saved by the love and the grace of God. That in the face of judgment, with judgment as the dark Backdrop of this passage and of future without God. The good news is that in the face of the worst news possible, imaginable, judgment and hell, that we have been saved.

And isn't it wonderful? Isn't it glorious that even here at the end, God is doing everything possible to keep people out of hell. I want to close this message down by saying that this gospel is the eternal gospel, it's also the universal gospel. Because this gospel, okay. To those who dwell on the earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people.

The gospel is for everyone. And therefore, God has called us to go into all the world and preach this gospel. And while angels can't do it yet, angels assist us. in our Personal witness. of the gospel.

They support us in our worship. They no doubt sing in the unseen world all around us. I wonder what the angels see. when they watch our worship. But angels open doors.

Angels may have assisted you, preventing you from that. Death experience may have preserved you in battle somewhere if you came home from a war. An angel guided you and guarded you to this place and set you up.

So that you can hear a man with a black suit, a black tie on today. Tell you that Jesus says That he died for you. that he rose again.

So that you can have eternal life. And the angels stand by, ready to burst into glorious praise for even one. who comes home to him. Today. You're listening to PowerPoint with Jack Graham and the message: Mine eyes have seen the glory.

Pastor, there is an upcoming opportunity for our listeners to join you on the trip of a lifetime. Can you tell us more? I want to personally invite you to join me for something very special. Capitol, Arlington National Cemetery, the National Monuments, Mount Vernon, and the Museum of the Bible. This won't be just a tour, it will be a spiritual journey. Really, I'll be opening God's Word along the way, teaching us about the spiritual foundations, the biblical foundations of our nation, and the hope that we have for the future.

So, registration is now open and I'd love for you to be a part of this unforgettable experience. For more information and to reserve your spot today, text Patriot to 59789. Can't wait to see you there. Pastor. What is your PowerPoint for today?

Well, this is exactly what Jesus said in Matthew chapter 7. Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. It is the will of the Father that you know and trust and follow Christ. You can go to church all your life and still not be a true believer.

So, how can you know? How can you be absolutely sure that you are saved, forgiven, and going to heaven? How can you know that your eternity with Christ is for real? and forever. Number one.

Make sure that you truly understand that you have sinned against a holy God and that because you have sinned, you are separated from God and you cannot in any way save yourself. Know that you are completely undone, lost without Christ, and meet your need. And then be sure that you understand that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. That When you put your trust and faith in Him, your sins, your judgment, Is transferred to Jesus. And that, of course, is the wonderful truth of the Bible: that God did for us what we could never do for ourselves.

Jesus died and rose again so that we could be forgiven and have eternal life. Then If you're saved, you will put your faith and trust in your Savior. and grow in your faith. That means to get to know God's Word. and the God of the Word by reading the Bible faithfully and going to church and gathering with other Christians so that your faith can be increased.

Read God's Word, pray, meet with other Christians and Share your faith with others because what we give away, we also learn to keep because it's lasting and it's real. Finally, make sure that you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ. When you decide for Jesus, you should go public with your faith. And while it is true that faith is very personal, It is never private. Tell other people about Jesus.

Talk to other people about what Christ has done for you and watch God use you to make a difference in people's lives. And that is today's PowerPoint. Remember, when you give a gift of $10 or more to PowerPoint, we'll send you a copy of Dr. Graham's booklet, Breaking Free from Stress as Our Thanks. Just text the word stress to 59-789.

And join us again next time as Dr. Graham brings a message that answers the question: where will you spend eternity? That's next time on PowerPoint with Jack Graham. PowerPoint with Jack Graham is sponsored by PowerPoint Ministries.
