Welcome to PowerPoint with Jack Graham. We are made to worship God. You were made to worship God. to worship Jesus. This is the overflow.

Worship is why you were made. and why you are remade when you are redeemed. On today's PowerPoint, Dr. Graham brings a message about how you can have FaceTime with God whenever you want.

Now here's Dr. Graham with his message. FaceTime. What we have here, really, in Revelation 4 and 5, is like a movie trailer, in one sense. in that it previews things to come.

And once we move by this heavenly scene in which we are raptured up, remember John is taken up into the presence of Jesus and he is representative of all of us who belong to Jesus, who believe in Jesus, and just like that, immediately in the presence of the Lord, we'll be one day and one day soon. And what unfolds then is what we see in the rest of the revelation. But before we move on, we want to take time to soak in. and experience the presence of Jesus in his heaven. Again, we find ourselves in heaven in the midst of the most beautiful worship service.

It's adoring, it's wonderful, it's overwhelming, and yet we feel at home. Feel like we belong there because we are face to face. with the God who loves us. the Savior. Who gave his life for us?

Because Jesus is the focus of the revelation, he is the fullness of heaven. And when we get to heaven, it won't be streets of gold or gates of pearl. That will shine the best. He will shine, and we'll see Jesus in all of his glory. We want to see Jesus.

And so in Revelation chapter 5, We read these words, the first four verses of Revelation 5. That I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the throne. God Himself on the throne. A scroll written within and on the back, sealed. with seven seals.

And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, it shakes heaven and earth, who is worthy? to open the scroll and break It seals. And no one And no one in heaven or on earth. or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it. And I began to weep loudly.

Because No one. was found worthy. to open the scroll. or to look at it. The first thing I want you to see in this passage is a sealed.

Manuscript. It's this scroll. that is introduced to us. In chapter five. A seven-sealed scroll.

John locks in on this scroll because it is in the right hand. The hand of authority and power of the one on the throne. He is invited. Like the rest of the earth and All of history. To open the scroll, who is worthy?

to open the scroll And to break its seals.

Now you know that. In the ancient days, this day. There were no books, Kodak style books, as I hold in my hand, or certainly not iPads. We read electronic books today, and it's a big change in the way that we read. But in the day of the Revelation, everything was written on scrolls.

And the scrolls, the parchments of the ancient world, a few of them are preserved. It's one of the great evidences in Scripture of the authority and authenticity of scripture is that we have manuscripts from the ancient world.

So we have to ask ourselves, what is this seven-seal scroll? And what are the seals? And what is this scroll all about? It is an official document. Obviously.

Clearly, it is an official document that is sealed, and therefore it is a legal document that is not to be allowed to be opened or tampered with. The way they would seal a document in the ancient world would be to roll it, roll it, roll it, and then put some wax and typically a signet ring of the one in authority. And then, if it was a long document, this is a contract type document that is at the throne of God, they would roll it from roll it, roll it, roll it. Wax, seal, roll, roll, roll, wax, seal, and so on.

So it was shut down, shut up, and sealed seven times. And no one is to open this scroll or to break these seals except the one who had the authority to do it.

So what is This seven sealed Scroll. And why is it?

So important. What this Document represents is a real estate deal. It is The title of the whole world. It represents, it is a title deed. To the earth.

Who owns it? Who rules it. And in this case, who can redeem it? Because there's a big mortgage. to pay.

And who can pay it? Who can redeem it and therefore rule it? And when the angel asked the question: who is worthy to take the scroll and to open it? No one hears a sound. All the heavy weights of heaven from the past.

Abraham, David. Moses Daniel, Isaiah, the prophets, not the apostles, those who follow Jesus most closely. Not anyone. Says a word.

Now there have been many willing to rule the world. Dictators and despots have been willing to rule the world. Many are willing. From Nebuchadnezzar to Caesar to Ginkgus Khan, from Ginkas Khan to Hitler, from communism and way of philosophy and political advance to radical Islam today. Ultimately, the Antichrist will try to fit into the throne of God to rule the world, and he will for a while.

But when all of heaven and earth and above and beyond and everywhere around is searched, no one is worthy. To open this Scroll. The scroll is also a kind of inheritance. It's your inheritance, if you will. Who will inherit the earth?

Who will inherit the earth? The kingdom.

So our inheritance is lost. And it appears That sin wins and evil prevails. And John begins to weep uncontrollably. When it says here in verse 4, I began to weep out loud, it's the strongest possible word for weeping. He's not just weeping, he is wailing.

These are the tears of despair. When Jesus wept, it wasn't just silent sobbing or just tears rolling down his face, but he was heaving, sobbing. For the people who had rejected His love. If you have ever experienced the rejection of love, if your love has been rejected, and some of you have experienced that, you know the depths of the pain and the sobbing. It goes on in the soul.

And when your heart is broken, this is what is happening to John here. He is broken apart by this because no one is able to redeem the world. No one is able to save the world. No one is able to open the scroll. All seems lost.

And those tears just pour down his weather-beaten face. Until John Here's a voice in verse 5. One of the elders said to me, Weep no more. You wept too soon, John. Get a hold of yourself, John.

Look, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, you know who that is. That's the Messiah. The promised one. The lion of the tribe of Judah. That is a Jewish Messiah.

The root of David, a kingly messiah. has conquered. That's the word Nikao. It means conqueror. Victor.

So John expects to see this lion step forward, this lion of the tribe of Judah, powerful, victorious. Lion. But when he turns to look Verse 6, between the throne and the four living creatures. These angel beings around the throne of God, around the elders, the believers, I saw a lamb standing. A lamb.

And not just Any lamb. But a lamb as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, with the seven spirits of God sent out on all the earth.

Now, I know. When People start reading about numbers and seven eyes and seven horns. That's when they just sort of go screensaver on Revelation, right? Oh man, this. But that just simply means seven is a perfect number.

Seven eyes means the perfect vision of God. Seven horns, perfect authority. It speaks of perfect power, his omnipotence, perfect omniscience. He sees all. His perfect presence.

This is all about his perfection, his power, his almightiness. A lamb standing as if it had been slain. John look to see a mighty lion, and he sees a little lamb. As though it had been slain, a wounded, weakened lamb. And the word that is used here for lamb is a diminutive form, really, which doesn't mean.

Wham it As an adult lamb, but it actually means a little pet lamb, a small lamb. A fluffy cuddly lamb. Remember the Passover? When God was setting his people free from the curse and the bondage of Egypt. And he said Take a little lamb from your flock, not just any lamb, but the first, the best that you can find, and bring that little lamb into the house for four days.

And so the kids patted the lamb, treated the lamb. Like a friend. Family got to know this little lamb. Love the little lamb. But then on the fourth day, The lamb was slaughtered.

It was a visual. A vivid reminder that without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin. And the blood of the Lamb was posted on the doors of the children of Israel, and the death angel passed over. And he saw the blood. And so the picture here is a lamb, a little lamb.

Jesus Who is slain? In heaven, The only men made things in heaven. Are the wounds of our Lord still exposed? The scars of Jesus will be an eternal reminder of the price that He paid.

So that we could be in heaven. We will praise Him forever every time we see Him. For he is the Lamb who is worthy. You're listening to PowerPoint with Jack Graham and the message. FaceTime.

Now, let's get back to today's message, FaceTime. The Lamb is standing, signifying. His strength and his resurrection. He's wounded. But he is standing.

Of course, Jesus is the Lamb. John the Baptist said. Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Jesus. The Revelation references Jesus as the Lamb of God numerous occasions, 31 times to be exact.

Throughout the Revelation, the Lamb is seen. We see the worship of the Lamb as in this passage. We see the wrath of the Lamb in the Great Tribulation. We see the blood of the Lamb in Revelation 7. We see the bride of the Lamb, his church.

The marriage supper of the Lamb. Why? Because Jesus is the Lamb of God. The sovereign lion. is the sacrificial saving Lamb.

of God. Jesus came the first time. as the lamb. The saving sacrificial lamb, but when he comes again, he will come as the sovereign lion, the lion of the tribe of Judah, because he takes the seals, breaks them, and opens them. He is worthy because of creation.

He made all that the earth is. is his. He has conquered at Calvary. The cross. By his blood, the scripture says.

And because of that, He is worthy and only worthy to be worshipped. Jesus is both the lion and the lamb who has prevailed, who poured out his blood to redeem, to pay this price. Therefore, he and he alone is worthy to take the seal. Jesus is worthy. He alone is worthy.

He is always worthy. He is altogether worthy, the sovereign Messiah. But one more thing. A saved multitude. Verses 8 to 10 says And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures, 24 elders fell down.

That's FaceTime. Fell down before the Lamb, holding a harp, golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransom, you redeem people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. We'll be there from everywhere. We are made to worship God.

You were made to worship God. to worship Jesus. Everything we do is to flow out of our worship. Everything in your life, all the things that you enjoy in your life, your marriage, your family, your friends, your recreation, your education, that ought to flow out of a heart. Worship for God that wants to glorify God, loving God and loving people.

This is the overflow. Worship is why you were made. and why you are remade when you are redeemed. But we're going to be over Flowing in worship, unbridled, unceasing, endless praise to God. And it says here, I want you to see something.

While music fills the air, it says That our prayers are like golden bowls of incense poured out before. the Lord. Our prayers. Are lifted up to the Lord like incense. The psalmist said in Psalm 141:2: Let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

Have you ever wondered? If God didn't really hear your prayers. You wonder, you cry out to God. You pray and you pray. And you lift up your heart to God and you just pour out your soul, and sometimes with words, sometimes inaudible, you're just.

Sometimes just crying, you're praying, and you just wonder if it gets above the ceiling. What a blessing it is to read here. That when we get to heaven, we're going to see our prayers contained in bolts. Remember that scripture that says that he keeps our tears in a bottle? Right?

Well, he keeps our prayers in a bowl. And these prayers in the kingdom that is to come, they're just poured out and they're pleasing to God, they're beautiful to God, and they're on the altar of God. And you'll realize my prayers were here all the time. Not one of them was forgotten. And when they pour out on the shores of eternity, you'll see.

What happened and how God answered your prayer or how God moved in your life beyond your prayer. And you'll know that there wasn't a tear that fell or a prayer that was given, but that God didn't know. That God didn't care. No, there's not a prayer that you give in Jesus' name. that he doesn't hold.

Near to his heart. In heaven. No wonder we sing and praise God, worshiping Him with the angels. It tells us that we're worshiping with a new song. It is the song to the Lamb, to him who is worthy.

Angels join in. They're described as innumerable angels, myriads upon myriads, and thousands upon thousands, which is a way of saying there are millions uncountable angels. In that moment. praising God with us. Can you imagine?

Can you imagine what it's going to be like to turn around? See the lamb He starts singing to Jesus. Worthy, worthy, worthy is the Lamb to join hands with family and friends and nations and neighbors and praise Him forever. Do you ever wonder if this is all worth it? You know, one of your bad days.

You're thinking, is this really worth it? Following Jesus and And Graham Laud said, S. Abraham. Abraham, was it worth it? To leave Earth the Chaldeans, a familiar civilization, and go out not even knowing where you were going.

To have many of the promises unfulfilled. Was it worth it, Abraham? Was it worth it, Moses? to leave all the pleasures and treasures of Egypt behind. and to spend the rest of your life in the desert with millions of refugees.

Only to die in the desert before you get to the promised land. Is it worth it, Moses? Daniel, Daniel, is it worth it? Was it worth it to pray and be faithful to God? Find yourself in a lion's den.

Because of your prayers. Mary. Mother of Jesus. Was it worth it? To bear the little lamb into the world.

Only to see him butchered and die. on a Roman cross. Peter, Simon Peter, was it worth it? to follow Jesus and Find yourself crucified upside down. Paul the Apostle.

Was it worth it? To obey the heavenly vision and go to the ends of the known world to preach Jesus, only to be beheaded. Martyr for your faith. Paul, was it worth it? Ask John.

John? Was it worth it? Serve Jesus all your life and then end up alone and abandoned? on a devil's island like Patmos? Was it worth it, John?

Let me ask you. Is it worth it? To serve Jesus, to live for Jesus. But many of your friends don't. And you're cut out and cut off because you stand for Jesus.

Is it worth it? Is it worth it to To labor in your Bible, to learn the Word of God? Is it worth it to get up and worship Jesus each week when we gather with God's people? Is that really all worth it? Is it worth it to invest your money in the kingdom of God to advance?

Is that really worth it? Is it worth it to be faithful to your wife, faithful to your husband, when so many are not? Is it worth it? You won't be in heaven. A nano second.

In the presence of Jesus the Lamb, where you will know for sure it's worth it. It's worth it because Jesus is worth it. He is worthy. Jesus is worthy. His love, his light.

the future that we have with him. And again, it's going to be so worth it when we stand and face him. and join the angel chorus. And say, worthy, worthy, worthy is the Lamb of God. You're listening to PowerPoint with Jack Graham and the message.

FaceTime. Pastor, there is an upcoming opportunity for our listeners to join you on the trip of a lifetime. Can you tell us more? I want to personally invite you to join me for something very special. It's the Patriot Tour to Washington, D.C., April 22nd through 27th, 2026.

This won't be just a tour. It will be a spiritual journey, really. I'll be opening God's Word along the way, teaching us about the spiritual foundations, the biblical foundations of our nation, and the hope that we have for the future.

So, registration is now open, and I'd love for you to be a part of this unforgettable experience. For more information and to reserve your spot today, text Patriot to 59789. Can't wait to see you there. Pastor, what is your PowerPoint for today? What we see in the book of Revelation is an incredible reminder as to what real worship is about.

It's not just singing. That's a big part of it. But it's our life worshiping, our lives transformed by Christ and then serving Him and pleasing Him and obeying Him in all that we do. Worship is singing, but it's also living. Everything we do should be an act of worship.

There's nothing in our lives that should not be accomplished for the glory of God. If you go to work, well, work hard, work honestly, and work well to glorify Jesus, just like you're working for Jesus. You're really not working for your boss if you're a Christian. Work hard for your boss, but ultimately work for Jesus. Do you have skills, talents, money, a home?

Use all of these to serve the Lord. Use your talents and your gifts in the work of Christ in your church. Give your money, your tithes, and your offerings to advance the kingdom of God. That is worship. Even if you're on vacation, Rest well, enjoy the beauty of creation, enjoy your family, and give thanks to God for the incredible rest that He has given you.

You see, what I'm saying is that everything in our lives should be worship and worshipful as we adore our God. Everything ought to flow out of our heart to worship Him. And it's about having a heart that loves God. and loves people. and fulfill the first.

And the greatest commandment, which is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, your mind, your soul, your strength. And then the second commandment Jesus said is to love your neighbor as yourself. Worship is why you were made. and why you were remade. when you were born again.

And that is Today's PowerPoint. Remember, when you give a gift of $10 or more to PowerPoint, we'll send you a copy of Dr. Graham's book, The Jesus Book, as our thanks. Text the word book to 59-789. And join us again next time as Dr.
