And I'm glad to study God's word with you every day on this Bible teaching program. On today's edition of Pathway to Victory. It is because these 12 and then 120 were so focused on obeying that great commission that 2,000 years later you and I are seated here as Christians. It started with 12. It spread to 120. It spread to 3,000. And within several hundred years, Christianity had toppled the entire Roman Empire. All because of what happened here on that day of Pentecost. Welcome to Pathway to Victory with author and pastor Dr. Robert Jeffress. After Jesus ascended into heaven, the disciples might have thought that God's divine presence had departed for good.

But Jesus told them to stay in Jerusalem because a great gift was coming. Today on Pathway to Victory, Dr. Robert Jeffress talks about the day of Pentecost when the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit. Now, here's our Bible teacher to introduce today's message.
