Pastor Greg Laurie is organizing a massive evangelistic crusade at Utah Valley University, called Hope for America, in response to the tragic death of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. The event aims to share the message of Jesus Christ with the people of Utah, and Pastor Greg believes it's a unique opportunity to reach the lost and bring hope to the community.

Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk the truth news. Can't hide it. Rock it on. A daily program powered by the Truth Network.

This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you what. Where pop culture and theology all come together. Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. We have a show today.

We have author. Pastor, radio host, evangelist. This guy's got, we could spend the whole hour introducing him, but we're not going to take all that time. Greg Laurie is in the house, on the line with us. He is an anchor all across the Truth Network, all across Salem Media.

His program is heard everywhere. You see him on the big screen, on TV. And of all the ways to respond to the death of Charlie Kirk, all kinds of folks are. Buying t-shirts to say, I am Charlie, Freedom t-shirts. There's been prayer vigils.

What does Greg Laurie do? What does his ministry do? They are holding a. Full Revival Evangelistic Crusade at the very place That Charlie Kirk was gunned down in Utah.

So Pastor Greg is on, and Russ East, our awesome Missions Monday missionary in Utah, Man of God, Truth Network director for all those years there with Utah Partnerships or Christ is with us. Pastor Greg, it is great to have you here, brother.

Well, Steve, thanks for having me on. Great to be with you. And You know, just a word about this event we're doing.

So, we've been talking with the pastors in Utah. for a couple of years now, but coming.

So we tentatively scheduled something for twenty twenty seven. And when Charlie Kirk was tragically assassinated at UVU, We reached out to them and we asked, is there anything we can do? And they said, yes. Come sooner, come now. And so we did something we've never really done before, and that is put A crusade event, which is a lot of work to put together on the fastest track possible.

It normally takes us anywhere from eight months to a year, sometimes even longer, to get one of these events organized. And we are going there literally in just under four weeks.

So we committed about. Six weeks before the time, November 16th. At UVU, the very campus.

Now we're going to be in a different location. We're going to be in the arena. But you know, and we're gonna hopefully, God willing, fill that. We have overflow and other venues so we can accommodate a lot of people, plus. It will be on air.

You know, I was talking to Glenn Beck the other day. I ran into him over at the White House and For the event that they had for Charlie Kirk receiving the Medal of Freedom. And he asked me, you know. I said, it's amazing how God's opened this door up. And he said to me, Well, are Mormons welcome?

I said, Glenn, everyone's welcome. Because we are there To tell people how to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. And Glenn said, I support that. I think that's fantastic. And so that's what I'm there to do.

I'm there to just tell people how they can know God through Christ. In a relationship with him.

So it's my honor to be going there.

Well, Pastor Greg, you, my friend, in this movement, which is so bigger than you and any of us, is an answer to prayers like a man who's been faithful in Utah for decades, Russ East. Russ, you and your family have been there with Utah Partnerships for Christ and now with the Truth Network, where Pastor Greg's been on. Rush, you wake up to Pastor Gregg every morning. How about this news, brother? Can you contain the excitement?

It is amazing, and I wanted to say thank you to Pastor Gregg and to everybody at Harvest. For being on the Truth Network also for 17 years in Utah, at 7:30 in the morning, Monday through Friday, and other times too.

So the Lord saved me. Out of the Mormon church when I was 14 years old. I love the Mormon people, and if you want to. bring people out to this event on november sixteenth. I was up at the crusade up in Boise, Idaho, and the Lord allowed me to be an usher got to help to explain more.

Mm-hmm. And you don't have to get washed up and cleaned up. Jesus did all that for us. We put our faith in Him alone, and then we're saved. I had such a great time at that crusade up at Boise State, I think it was, and can't wait for this to happen coming up.

So, thank you, Pastor Greg. Yeah, Pastor Greg, you know, a couple decades ago when we started praying, and God just opened the door for us to get in Utah.

Someone said, Well, why he said, That's where all the Mormons are. Why are you doing Christianity out there? I said, Let me tell you something. The Mormons need Jesus just as much as I do, right, Greg? The ground is level with the foot of the cross, and you're just inviting everyone to Christ, right, sir?

Yeah, everybody needs Jesus, you know, and And that is really the message because you know, we're all separated from God by our sin. We all really, I think, deep down inside, long for more online. The Bible says God is. placed eternity in our hearts. He's pre-wired us for For eternity, pre wired us for heaven.

And that's unique among humanity. And as compared to the animal kingdom, you know, we're not a highly evolved animal. We're a man, a woman, made in the very image Of God, but our sin separates us from Him. But Christ died for our sin, and Jesus Christ was the Son of God. Sent from heaven, fully God, fully man, uniquely qualified to bridge the gap between a holy God and sinful humanity.

And if we will turn from our sin and put our faith in Him, we can come into this relationship with Him.

So, you know, that's the message I proclaim wherever I go. And that's the message I'll be proclaiming. at UVU november sixteenth, In Utah. Looking forward to it. You know, I've never been to Utah before, so I'm looking forward to it.

Russ, we got to roll out the red carpet, man. We got to get him some saltwater taffy. We got to take him to all of it. He's a foodie.

Now, Russ, he is a foodie.

So you better make sure he gets the best brunch, lunch, whatever the best barbecue, ribs, wherever that is. Pastor Greg, we're taking care of you, man. I see those foodie videos you do with the eggs and all the good, man. I tell you, we got to take care of you in Utah. And, you know, Pastor Greg is just really fascinating.

A lot of folks have responded to the Charlie Kirk thing. I mean, people have been mean. Like on the left, they've attacked him and have celebrated a guy getting shot, you know, a guy that's got two small kids and a wife. And, you know, and then others. You know, maybe believers may be a little too militant, too angry, you know, this and that, but you're celebrating Charlie Kirk.

I honestly would say this, and I want you to comment on it. You're celebrating him, how he would want to be celebrated with a massive megaphone gospel presentation in the middle of Utah, the same place where he went to heaven. You're bringing heaven down to all these people, Pastor Greg. I mean, isn't, I can't think of a more exciting way to honor this guy, but to really lift up Christ. I think I really choose to.

And, you know, I would never rejoice. If some leader on the left was assassinated. My heart would break. We would be praying for their families. We would care, and we, I would, even if I disagreed with everything they said.

I would never celebrate their death. And this just shows how evil things have become You know, the Bible talks about a time when people call sweet bitter and bitter sweet, and good, bad, and bad, good. We're living in that time. And I've been shocked because, you know, even when I've done some posts about Charlie.

Some of the comments, they're just so negative.

Some people think, oh, he deserved this. How ridiculous. You know, he was a Christian leader. He was. Very outspoken on issues that we believe in as followers of Christ.

are reflecting a biblical worldview. And and he was taken from us, but But like Stephen in the Bible, Stephen used that as an opportunity to proclaim the gospel. And in fact, after Stephen's death, he was the first martyr of the church and also a very young man, Charlie, like Charlie. After that happened, the gospel began to spread like never before because the believers finally got out of Jerusalem and they started doing the job God called them to do. And we're seeing something similar to that in America right now.

We're seeing a lot of young people, especially who are very inspired by Charlie's commitment, his outspokenness. And he talked about Christ all the time.

So I think it's an appropriate tribute to him. And even more importantly, in obedience to the great commission. to go to where people are and I have to say uh Stu and Russ said we have been welcomed with Arms by the community, by everyone.

So we're very happy about that. Tremendous, hold that thought. We'll come back with another just a few more minutes with Pastor Greg. Pastor Greg Laurie, huge event. In Utah, we're going to tell you how you can get involved in some other amazing things happening.

Harvest Ministries, a new beginning, Pastor Greg Laurie. Stay tuned. Touch that dial. More Truth Talk. Truth Talk Live with Stu Efferson right after this quick break.

Hang on. It's Truth, talk, life. Stu Everson with special thanks to our friends at Vinetastic.com promo code TRUTH. They're passionate about the 136 million. Can you that many people are either pre-diabetic or diabetic?

Well, we're grateful for them. We're talking about them, raising a little bit of information about them. More information is at vintastic.com, promo code truth. Are we Seeing Another Jesus revolution.

Well, the guy to blame... For the first one, well, that's all. I know he'll lay it at the feet of the Lord, but the guy to the blame who was part of the first one, who actually helped create a movie that set the country on fire not a year or two ago, is Pastor Greg Laurie. And Pastor Greg, when I hear you on your radio show and when I see what God's doing at Harvest, and when I see what God's doing in all these campuses, Sir, I can't help but think about the Jesus Revolution. You were there.

You were baptizing people in the Pacific Ocean, brother. Talk to me. Are you seeing some common threads here?

Okay. Oh, no question. You know what's really interesting is they say that art imitates life. And that was true in the film because One of the key things that we used to do back in the Jesus movement was we had mass baptisms down at a spot. Called Pirates Cove in Newport Beach, kind of a natural rocky amphitheater, just perfect for baptizing people.

So we did that in the film. We baptized people in the film, showing what was happening, but then people saw the film and wanted to be baptized in the same place.

So now it's not just art imitating life, it's life imitating art imitating life. And listen to this: this is insane. Since that movie came out, We we ourselves have baptized I think upwards of 10,000 people down there. And we call them Jesus Revolution baptisms. And I have to tell you, even in the Haiti of the Jesus movement, we were not baptizing people that many people in such a close period of time.

And I think, you know, I think we're beginning to, we're seeing revival-like things happening in the country right now, especially among young people. We're seeing it on college campuses. We're seeing an increase in church attendance. We're seeing an uptick in Bible sales. I think they're up 25%, primarily Gen Z kids buying their first Bible.

An increase in church attendance, again Gen Z, and interestingly led by young men. That's pretty much unprecedented. And so many other indicators that are pointing in the right direction. And you know, God has taken this tragedy of Charlie's death. And it is a tragedy.

And we don't want to miss that. But he despite this tragedy, God has used it to inspire many young people to Speak up for their faith and say, you know, I was inspired by Charlie's life, and I want to make a difference too. And so, You know, I'm just thinking if I'm sitting in heaven. And I knew that my life When it was ended, impacted others to want to share the gospel, I'd be pretty happy about that, to say the least. And so I think that he's rejoicing Knowing that God has worked despite this horrible thing that happened.

And just a word about his wife Erica. I just met her. I've had some conversations on the phone with her. But I just met her at the White House. She's such a precious lady, and she's mourning.

In grappling with this. And I did a little post on my social media. If you go to my Instagram account, my Facebook page. you'll see a little video that we shot uh on a phone where she was showing us the Medal of Freedom that was given to her by the President. What's interesting about it Is they engraved?

A cross on the back of it with Charlie's name, and that's the first time they've ever engraved a cross on the Medal of Freedom. Wow. That is something, man. And you're lifting up the cross in Utah. And the date, Pastor Greg, what's the date of the event?

And we want to rally the troops. Volunteers, pastors, counselors, prayer warriors, friends, this is one big fat prayer quest, this show today, because we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but we wrestle against principalities and powers. And the evil one does not want the gospel going out. The evil one wants to silence us. And little did he know.

And we thought it couldn't get worse. When Charlie Kirk Preaching the gospel on a college campus gets gunned down in cold blood. We thought it couldn't get worse when we have to have this funeral where maybe 200 million people heard the gospel. And it was proclaimed, Pastor Greg, you saw that. And now it's happening in Utah.

A huge thing. I mean, Russ, this has got to encourage you, man. You've been on your knees praying for your homeland and for these people to find the true Jesus for many decades, brother. How about that? Absolutely.

I want to encourage all my friends at local churches all across Utah. Center Point Church, Washington Heights, Alpine, Corner Canyon. I can just list so many. I've seen so many more biblically based churches started in Utah from the time we moved here, my wife and I, in 1994.

So we're so grateful to have the Harvest Crusade with Pastor Greg. Great to meet you, Pastor Greg. And we're just going to be praying. I want to ask all of the born-again believers to just bring out your friends who don't know the Lord. Bring them to this and find out how you can be as a believer, find out how you can be an usher.

I'm sure there's lots of needs there, and we've got a great team with Harvest to help see this happen. That's tremendous. Yeah, Pastor, what do you say to that?

Well, the date is to your earlier question, it's November 16th. And speaking of prayer, We've asked everyone to set their smartphones to 320.

Now, if you want to do it in the middle of the morning, you can do it, or in the afternoon, 3:20. But why 3:20? Because Ephesians 3:20 says. God is able to do exceedingly above and beyond that which you could ask or think.

So we're asking you to set the alarm in your phone. It goes up at 320. And then we're asking you to pause and pray for the Shootah Crusade. This is a strategic moment. I've been told, and of course, Rush, you would know more about this being on the ground there, but I've been told that these people are still traumatized by what happened on the campus and in the area.

And so we want to bring help. And hope in the name of Jesus Christ. And we're going to have great music. Phil Wickham will be with us. Chris Tomlin will be there as well.

It's going to be an epic event. And if you're somehow not able to make it, you can watch it on our website at harvest.org. And you can also get more information on the crusade or the event. We're actually calling it Hope for America. But you can get more information.

Say again, harvest.org. Everyone, go to that site. Everyone pray. Our special guest today is Pastor Greg Laurie. Russ East is with me as well.

Stu Epperson here on Truth Talk Live. Pastor Greg. In September 11th, 2001, I was I was on my way to meet a bunch of pastors and John Collins. in North Carolina. to have a pastor's planning prayer.

For the Harvest Crusade in Winston-Salem, and September 11 happened. Yes, sir. On that day, I'll never forget where I was. We sat in there and we were praying and we were crying. And John Collins was like, How am I going to get back to California?

Does Greg even want me back? I'm all the way here. I'm stranded. But God did something mighty. Fast forward just a year ago or so.

I'm at our men's Bible study. Guy comes up to me, sees my Truth Network logo. He says, You're with the Truth Network. I said, Yeah. He said, I got saved.

My life was transformed at the Harvest Crusade in Winston-Salem when Greg Laurie came. Thank you for putting Greg Laurie on the radio. And so, just what God's doing through the ministry, of course, you were up. Remember when you did the one in up in Hickory before that? We were all up there here, boom.

This was Link. Oh, my. I was there and I was doing the play-by-play call with Dave Spiker and these guys, and John Fummo, my brother-in-law, on the you know, on the internet's feed. It was just sensational. People coming to Christ's buses pulling up.

Up people pack it, so we're going to pray that well. Amen.

Well, it's not that big of an area hit grades. And what was amazing is, I was preaching in a baseball stadium. A little baseball stadium. And they had this giant hill over to the side of it that was filled with people. In fact, there were more people on the hill than there were in the stadium.

And I actually said, Can we just point the speakers that way? Can I speak to those people? There's so many. And they said, no, the cameras are down here. And the way you talk to them is you've got to speak down here.

Okay, fine. But it was great. It was like, it was revival-like. God really did a great work in that Hickory Crusade. I remember it well.

Harvest.org. Stay with us. We'll have them on for one more segment. Pastor Greg is in the house. I'm Stu Uberson.

He is pastor, author. If you know or hear him, he's funny. He's winsome, but he gets in the word. He's an evangelist as well. He has just a heart to reach the lost.

And he has been. He's been on the Truth Network stations for pushing three decades, and we're really grateful that he's on the air with us right now. We're talking about a big event happening. In Utah, of all places, where the same place that Charlie Kirk was assassinated. And in record time.

Harvest ministries The Harvest Crusades, Pastor Greg Laurie. They've put together a crusade that these things take eight to twelve months. These things are well ordered, well organized, and God's just led them, and the Lord has worked. Pastor Greg, you know, from that moment we just reminisced in, you know, and I hope everyone will download the podcast and hear these stories. When you preach at the Hickory Crawdad's Stadium to the big hill over there to Utah of all places, there's a lot that goes in this.

You know, this is what blows you away. You go to the Russ East, you'll go to this event. And you'll be like, I'm with Pastor Gregg's ministry in Riverside, California.

Okay, cool.

So you are on staff? No. I'm actually a local plumber. A local plumber? What?

Yeah, I took my vacation days to serve To be a counselor, to be an auditor, to be to help with the offering, to do what to set up the sound system. I mean, Pastor Greg, your people have bought in, and God's hand has been on your ministry, brother. Talk about what goes into this and brag about those people a little bit, brother, and how God's used this to summon folks to the clarion call of reaching the lost. in our world.

Well, you know, the great commission, which is to go into all the world, preach the gospel, make disciples of all nations. Baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that Christ commanded us as given to everyone. It's not given to only so-called professionals like pastors, evangelists. Missionaries, it's given to plumbers and housewives and students and businessmen, fill-in blank here. In other words, it's given to every Christian.

So, first of all, it's for every follower of Jesus to do this. And secondly, It's a command. That's why we call it the great commission, not the great suggestion. And so, you know, the cool thing is people in our church, they get it. And they want to help, and they found the joy of serving, and there really is.

Joy in serving the Lord. And so I know many of our own people will be coming. They're all asking, How can we help? What can we do? And so they'll be coming and going out in the streets and handing out invitations, sharing the gospel with people, helping out as ushers, counselors, working the merch table, setting up, tearing down the equipment, you know, you name it, they'll be there.

So, but it's our privilege. You know, it's a privilege to serve the Lord. It's a privilege for me to preach the gospel. I have never grown tired of it. I love it.

I'm passionate about it. And you know, I started, as you mentioned, how long I've been on your network. I've been doing this now for over 50 years, but always look forward to doing it again.

Well, we're just tickled to death to have you on. And Russ East, I mean, we mentioned earlier, this is surreal how God is working. There's like this Jesus revolution that's just bursting up. There's mass baptisms. There's kids coming to Christ.

There's people that I had a buddy I've been sharing the Lord with for some time got saved at the Charlie Kirk funeral. And now Pastor Greg and his team, they're bringing an army from California. They're telling everyone to wake up and come out of the closet with your faith in Jesus and be a part of this amazing event in Utah. Russ, what's your clarion call to everyone? Picking up on piggybacking on what Pastor Greg said.

Sure, sure.

So anyone who's listening right now, I want to encourage you. If you are of the predominant religion of Utah, I want to ask you to please. Exercise your free agency. It's a term that you know what I'm talking about. You exercise your free agency to come to this event.

It's going to be amazing. It's november sixteenth at Utah Valley University in the basketball gymnasium. You're going to hear how you can have eternal life. And it's not going to be a performance thing, you don't have to hear about. Three levels of heaven, and where am I going to be?

This is knowing that your sins are forgiven. You can claim 1 John 5:13 through 15. You can know that you have eternal life. By those who believe in the name of the Son of God, you're going to be set free from the worry of whether or not you're going to be in the presence of Heavenly Father. Man, I tell you what, I love you, and I want you to be set free from the guilt and shame of sin, to know that Jesus took it upon himself.

And you're just going to be blown away when you see people get truly born again, and it's just going to be incredible. For the Christians that are listening, just be praying and be involved and find out from us here at the Truth Network and with Harvest. Uh go to the website. And learn about how you can be involved. It's going to be a momentous day in our state's history, and I'm so excited about this coming up November 16th.

And this is your passion, Pastor Greg. I mean, you are a pastor church. You're feeding the flock, which is what people love about you because you're doing these evangelistic crusades. You're given the gospel, but you're also a student of God's Word. And, you know, you were trained under Chuck Smith and some great teaching.

And so you're feeding people. But how important is it? You know, the statistics are scary. We don't want to shame people, but less than like 10% of believers, born-again believers, are sharing their faith.

So you touched on it briefly, but how is everyone to do the work of an evangelist, Pastor Greg? This has been a pastor's. Call us out a little bit, brother. Speak truth to us. Yeah.

Well, you know, I don't remember the exact stat, but it's something along the lines of. like a huge number, like 80% plus. of people who are not believers. Would go to church if they were invited by a friend. See, here's the thing: when you have a relationship with someone, you can leverage that relationship.

And this is the time to do that. But this is in some ways the best kind of church service you could invite them to because Hope for America, this event we're doing November 16th at UBU in Utah. Is geared for the non-believer. Because you know, with a, I'm going to take. Excuse me, my not believing friend.

To church and the pastor decides to preach on tithing that week or something. Oh, no, not that, not this week. But so know this. My message is geared to a non-believer. It's designed for a non-believer.

And in effect, when I speak, I'm preaching for a decision.

So this Is the event you've been looking for to bring someone to? And I want to emphasize the word bring, not send. Don't say hey, go to this. Say, come with me to this. And here's the amazing thing: we have found that the vast majority of the people that Walk forward and make a profession of faith.

They were brought by a friend. And they're also going to end up in the church of the person who brought them.

So you can not only bring them to the crusade, but they'll probably end up in your church. And it'll be your joy and privilege to disciple them, to help them get up on their feet, mentor them, help them grow spiritually.

So this is a great opportunity. It's only one night. November 16th, UVU, 6 o'clock p.m., Chris Domlin, Phil Wickham, a message from me on how to come into a relationship with God. Also streamed live at harvest.org. And to find out more information about how you can get involved, Just go to our website, harvest.org.

Fantastic. And check out Pastor Greg. Check out his messages, the daily radio program, which is sensational. His podcast, by the way, tomorrow, the big podcast that he did with Marco Rubio. I guess that pops tomorrow, doesn't it, Pastor Greg?

It sure does. I just was able just a few days ago to interview Secretary of State Marco Rubio, whom President Trump just described as the greatest Secretary of State in the history of America. That's quite a compliment, well deserved, I would say. And so we have a fascinating conversation about how faith impacts his life. We talk about geopolitical things, and we also talk about personal things and how he deals with stress and anxiety.

And we even have a fun little lightning round where I find out some things about Marco you probably never knew before.

So tune in. It's the Greg Laurie Show, and it's on the Salem Podcast Network. And you can also find it at harvest.org. That's fantastic. Pastor Greg, your.

Legacy. You have written some great books. You wrote a great book, I bet, about Reverend Graham. He was a huge influence in your life. Chuck Smith, you've sat at the feet of some godly men.

John MacArthur went to heaven recently. What is it that, Pastor Greg Laurie, what is it you want to? The kind of legacy that you want to be remembered by. Share that with our listeners, and that'll also kind of let them see a little bit into your heart. Wow.

Well, you know, I just want to be remembered. as someone who had his life changed by Jesus Christ. and wanted to do what he could with his life. to reach others with the same message that transformed him. And that, I mean, I'm just like that guy in the Bible we read about who said.

He was healed by Jesus. He said, Once I was blind, but now I see, you know? And so the Lord called me. I mean, the fact that He saved me is more than enough. But then that He called me to proclaim His gospel.

And it started with a little cartoon booklet I drew, and then it led to preaching, and then it led. Pastoring and broadcasting and other things that we've done, making films and such. But I'm always trying to reach unexpected people in unexpected places. With an unexpected message, the message of the gospel.

So that kind of is what my life is about. I just want to be known as someone.

Well, who just did that and gave God the glory for it? That's awesome. Listener just queried about the time of the crusade on the 16th, the event. What time? Yes.

6 p.m. But I would get there early. I would get there quite early.

Okay, awesome. And be praying, and we're going to pray for you. And I just posted on my Instagram story, Pastor Greg, and I tagged you. And I tagged everyone I could.

Now, give me a follow back because now, you know, because you're not real friends unless you're Instagram friends.

Okay. I'll get out as soon as I'm up. Yes, sir. I put it on there for all of our listeners at the Truth Network. We're having all our accounts are following you, of course.

We would love carrying your program. And there's a bunch of stations that carry your program that carry this program that love you and that on behalf of them, thank you for being faithful to God's word, for being faithful to casting the net and bringing people to Christ. Russ East, would you pray for Pastor Greg real quick? We got to take a break and he's got to run. But Russ, will you pray for Pastor Greg and for this event?

And everyone, don't close your eyes if you're driving, but pray with us. This is powerful. Absolutely. Lord, we come to you humbly. And we come to you expectantly.

We come to you, Lord, as our provider and for our as our protector. Lord, we want to be your ambassador, especially on november sixteenth.

So Lord, please empower Pastor Greg and all the team, Brian and Mark, and so many people, so many people, Lord. We just need you. We're dependent on you 100%. Lord, please bring the souls that you've entrusted us with that they would come to know you. And that they would just be so excited to hear about how they can be justified and then and then and just be uh then understand the difference between that and what sanctification is all about, Lord.

These these things that they're going to learn about after they become saved. And Lord, just please make this an amazing day for your glory, and we'll just trust you with it all in Jesus' name. Amen.

Thank you, Pastor Greg. We love you, man. Thank you. Bringing people to Jesus in all kinds of different ways.

Some of you may be like, hey, I don't like the. I don't like the crusade thing. It's a little crazy. All these people, maybe someone will raise their hand and go forward, but not really mean it.

Well, God knows people's hearts. At the end of the day,. Russ East is with me. I'm Stu Everson. Russ, at the end of the day, it's like the guy that came up to deal Moody.

And I want to use this illustration. I may use it every time we go on the radio. They may say, why do you have Truth Network? Why do you have Christian Radio? Why are people.

Like the Wilkins Radio Network and other friends, Salem Media, and others carrying this program. Why would a station, an amazing station? in Buford Beaufort.

South Carolina Near Hilton Head, why would that amazing signal carry this radio show? I'll tell you why, because it's all about reaching people with the good news of Jesus Christ. That's what it's all about. And that's why 88.7 FM, we're so glad to be on there. And that's why, Russ, you are.

Out there passing out cards and putting magnets on your car that tell everyone to listen to AMA 20. 95.3 FM all across Utah. Russ Is the message of Jesus worth telling people about? Absolutely, absolutely. Eternity is a very, very, very long time.

And so Jesus said, unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.

So you don't want to go into eternity With a heart that is due and payable for your sins. I mean, imagine if you were to punch a policeman in the face or something. What a problem that would be. The penalty for something like that is huge, isn't it? Even opposed to somebody on the street would be terrible, also.

But we've offended the one true God, the one and only holy, holy, holy, you know, is the Lord God Almighty.

So we are in a bad situation, but God Himself, God the Son, He took our sin upon Himself and He paid that penalty. And what an amazing thing to be able to go to an event like this and to be encouraged by hearing this timeless. Message of the good news. And you've got to understand the bad news. The bad news is we are separated from God.

Adam and Eve took that fruit in the garden. They were trying to become like God and they were trying to call the shots what's good and what is evil. And so that sin, Romans 5:18, it passed upon all men. But the good news is that Jesus took our sins. Sin on himself, and he paid that penalty.

He paid that sin debt. And, you know, I want to encourage anybody who wants to come to a special dinner that we're putting on in Sandy, Utah, on Friday, the 14th of November, right before the big event at UVU on Sunday, November 16th, for this Harvest Crusade, Hope for America with Greg Lorry. Just go to our website, UPFC. We can see that. We're going to have a great dinner at the Hilton Garden Inn.

We're going to have some local pastors sharing some testimonies and devotionals on Thanksgiving.

So, we're going to call it a Thanksgiving banquet like we do every year. And we're going to try to spend some time on praying for this. For this event with Pastor Greg, and I really appreciate this opportunity just to try to be an ambassador for Christ. That'd be amazing. That's why we have this voice.

That's why we have this platform. That's why God's giving you that nice car.

So you could tell people about the true owner of that car, Jesus Christ, that nice home. That's why God's given you a skill, a talent. Maybe you're amazing at running a business.

Well, God's giving you that skill. I had coffee today with a guy who's prolific at running businesses. And he said, God built me to do this.

So I'm not going to sell my business going to ministry. I'm going to use my business as a ministry. Consequently, he's discipled and led all kinds of people to Christ through his business. And Russ, think about the counterintuitive nature of Greg Lorry. And his minister, they're in Southern California.

What do they have to do with Utah? His heart's broken over what happened to Charlie Kirk. How does he respond? Does he get angry? Does he hire assassins to try to hunt down anyone that's anti-conservative?

No. He puts together. An evangelistic crusade in record time with his team at Harvest Ministries, a Harvest Crusade. A Hope for America crusade. And he is coming.

They're coming to Utah, brother, and they're spreading the good news of Jesus Christ, the living Lord, the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and God the Son. Yes, that's him, the second member of the Trinity. The one who came to save you from the lies of every other religion. Because this is truth. This is not LDS dogma.

This is the only way to heaven through Jesus. Who is Lord and Savior, and he's coming again. And, Russ, this is really important that people bring their friends. And if you are. Not a believer, or if you think you're a believer, or if you think that you're in a certain church that makes you a Christian.

This is an opportunity to nail it down, to hear the good news, right, Rush? This isn't about winning arguments. We're way past that. This is about winning souls, and this is about knowing. 1 John chapter 5.

says I write these things. Talking to a Muslim guy recently, I said, Do you know you have eternal life? If you died right now, would you be in heaven with Jesus? He says, I don't know. I don't know, because that's not what Allah is about.

And that's not what Kolob is about. That's not what all these other people are about in other religions. In every religion, it's about you getting there, you working. You're saved by grace after all that you can do. That's what it says in Nephi chapter 2.

But. Christianity, true biblical Christianity with Jesus, Russ, is about God coming to us. Jesus coming to us into our sinful country world and saving us the perfect sacrifice. And dying for us in our place so that we could live again. And that's the whole point of this crusade, right, Russ?

Yes, and I want to say to all of those listening that maybe have been listening to the Truth Network in Utah, maybe you're listening in Lynchburg, Virginia, maybe you're listening in Ohio or wherever. You know, there are people that are listening right now that can be praying for us for this event for us in Utah. But for those in Utah, my fellow Utah's, for those of you who have maybe distanced yourself from the predominant religion in Utah, you know, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I don't want you to give up on the Jesus of the Bible.

Okay, there is truth. There is reality. The things we read in the Bible are accurate. They reflect, they mirror reality. It's true.

They're real people, real events, real places. And I just want you to not give up on Jesus. And so come to this. If you're on the fence, if you've had some time now to kind of. Decompressed, maybe you've stepped away from that particular religion, and now you want to hear just the simple, profound, beautiful message of that Jesus died for you.

Jesus loves you, yes, he does, and he wants you to become. His child. And if you want to come and settle that on Sunday night, November 16th, 6 p.m. You'll be greeted and warmly welcomed into the family of God. It will be a day that you will never forget.

And I wanna just encourage all of my friends who are at local churches all across the state of Utah. get in contact with the people at Harvest so that your church can have a representation to be an usher. I was up at the Boise event with Greg Laurie, and it's a big operation. It's a lot of organization that goes on. And they have a great team, and the music is going to be encouraging.

And you're just going to be reminded of what the power of the gospel does. It changes lives for eternity. And if you haven't been to something like this before, you're a believer. Go to this, go to this, and just be there and experience this and be there to maybe walk down the aisle with somebody who doesn't know the Lord and they're receiving him as their Savior. I mean, what an amazing opportunity that we have in Utah that doesn't come around every day to have somebody who's gifted to share the gospel in a very, very profound way with these great musical artists.

Phil Wickham and Chris Tomlin. I mean, it's just going to be an amazing night. And just come to our dinner and join in, and we'll get you all set up for the event. You know, Greg Laurie has a unique encounter with losing a loved one. He lost his precious son, Christopher.

He lost his son? Yeah.

And he talked about him, and he's written about him, and he talks about how he's in heaven and how tough that is.

Well, imagine Charlie Kirk and Christopher, the conversations they're having. And how they're seeing God work in Utah. Through their death, so many people are going to hear about the life of Jesus Christ. We got a call real quick. I'm going to put him in 106.5 FM in Ohio, Dayton, Ohio.

Quickly, sir, jump in here. Quick word for Russ and for our friends here on Truth Talk. Go ahead. Absolutely. Thank you, Brother Stu.

God bless the Truth Talk Network. And God bless this event that you're going to do, Rush. Stay strong. Just know that if we work biblically, these events like this, God is going to give you favor. He's going to bring people into the kingdom.

He's going to grow the movement of Christianity that is spreading. And I want to say this, Stu. God showed me this. Do you remember what caused the 12 boys to leave Jerusalem? I'll cut to the chase.

It was after the stoning. That's when they left with the death of Charlie Kirk. And do not worship him. Do not worship Charlie. That's right.

Revelations 19:10. Do not worship Charlie Kirk. But as soon as he died, Stu, I've seen people at the local amusement parks walking around riding roller coasters in lines for the roller coasters, telling people about the Lord Jesus Christ and how to get Charles. To the kingdom biblically.

So, Rush, many blessings upon you. Love you guys. What a kind word. Thank you. God bless you, sir.

Thanks to 106.5 FM in Dayton. We have wonderful listeners all across Ohio, wonderful friends that are part of. this program russia. It's really encouraging to hear that and it's really neat to know. That God can only save lost people.

He can only save sinners. If you got it together, if you think your religion and your effort and your service to the church and your giving and all that stuff and your fidelity to your wife, let me break your heart for a second. Hell will be full of people who are conservative. pro-family, pro-life. Give money to the church.

Have regular church attendance. But, Russ, take us home with the truth that it's not by works of righteousness which we have done. It's only by grace you're saved through faith. Call out everyone real quick in the final 20 seconds we have left, sir. Just want to encourage anyone right now who does not have that confidence.

that they have eternal life. That they would know, like it says in 1 John 5:13 through 15, that they have eternal life because they believe in the name of the Son of God. This is what you need to do, this is what God says. Don't be misguided by anything. Amen.

Thank you, Rob.
