The following program is recorded content created by the Truth Network. It's Matt Slick Live. Matt is the founder and president of the Christian Apologetics Research Ministry, found online at Carm.org. When you have questions about Bible doctrines, turn to Matt Slick Live for answers, taking your calls and responding to your questions at 877-207-2276. Here's Matt Slick.

Everyone, welcome to the show. It's me, Matt Slick, and you're listening to Matt Slick Live. As usual, if you want to give me a call, the number. Is 8772072276 and today's date is let's see September 17th, 2026.

So there you go. I hope you're all having a good day, a good time. We have nobody waiting right now.

So there's always plenty of things to talk about. Theology and the things. Let's see. I released a study today on. would study on the the phrase whole world.

and released that. Not a big deal, but I released that. I wrote an article also, Do Metaphysical Subjects Require Metaphysical Proofs? And that's interesting because Um There was a banter going on Uh A banter going on about this guy said that they've done studies, and prayer does nothing. They've done scientific studies.

And I wrote an article in response to that. What are the problems with using signs to validate prayer?

Well uh Prayer is a metaphysical action. And what that means is, it's not measured by weight or mass. You can't take a picture of it, et cetera. Physics and the scientific method deals with these kind of things: how big a rock is, what its mass is, its volume, things like that, how tall the tree is, and they can be generally seen and known through the five senses. But metaphysical things like beauty, justice, love, etcetera, these things are not based on physical actuality.

They cannot be detected and measured that way. Prayer is a metaphysical actuality. In that, though it does take time and it occurs within our souls, these things are not measurable, except you could say, I prayed for five minutes. But. This is a duration of the event of a metaphysical nature.

And so the The thing is that when people say you have to have a scientific method to validate prayer, the efficacy of prayer, what they're doing is they are presupposing that the scientific method is the right way to determine uh the validity of and efficacy of prayer. And that's an assumption that's not validated. By the scientific method itself. It's just an assumption. It's a philosophical assumption.

And so there's a lot of problems with that thing. And so that led me to writing a metaphysical subject required metaphysical proofs.

So metaphysical proofs would deal, for example, on the existence of God using presuppositionalism and that the idea that the universality of the laws of logic require a metaphysical basis, not a physical basis. And stuff like that.

So that's what I was doing today, and I hope that You are enjoying yourself. To me, I enjoy that. I do. I enjoy those kinds of things. And for me, they're a lot of fun.

You know, I enjoy learning. I do. And When I was younger, I wanted to be a marine biologist, and I love the idea of science. I still do. I love science.

I think science is awesome. It's great to discover the things that God has placed in the world for us to discover. And utilize, and hopefully, for the glory of God. We should use all our discoveries about what God has placed within the physical realm and the secrets within the physical realm. I think we should, as Christians, be well involved in using them for God's glory, which necessitates also, for example.

Drilling for oil, you know, you can make combustion engines. Should we then be responsible for the side effects? Of what it is that we are doing with God's creation. And I say, yeah, we should. We should be responsible.

We should like when they cut down forests, they replace the forests with tree saplings and so that we have a supply of trees. This is the kind of thing that I think is good, and it's called husbandry. That's what it's called. It's an agricultural term. And then we get the word husband out of it.

But anyway, I'm just kind of digressing a little bit.

So, there you go. Hey, look, if you want to give me a call, all you've got to do is dial 877-2072276. Let's just stop. Since we have nobody waiting, let me check right now. We have nobody waiting.

Yep, nobody waiting. I'm going to get to the questions that have been sent in for radio stuff. Let's just jump in that. I've always heard a teaching that angels are male and masculine until this week when I heard a pastor bring up Zechariah 5 and the two women with the wind in their wings. Thanks for explaining this.

Yeah, I've uh I've faced that before. Uh let's see, female angels. And I analyzed that very thing. Uh let's see if I can find it on my website quickly. Yeah, it's see.

The context of Zechariah 5 is a series of visions. It's the sixth vision in which verse 9 is delivered.

So verse 1, there's a flying scroll, and verse 2, its dimensions are 20 cubits long and 10 cubits width. Let's see. Verses 3 and 4, the scroll represents a curse upon those who steal and those who swear falsely by God's name. Verses 5 through 8: a woman is personified as wickedness. Verse 9, two women coming out with the wind in their wings.

And 10, 11, the women are going to build a temple.

So, contextually, this is my notes. I'm reading from this, okay? Contextually, the figures spoken of in verse 9 are not angels. They're representative of wickedness and not dealing with angels and are not dealing with angels. Therefore, we can say that universally in the scripture, angels are referred to as males.

So, what I'm going to do, I wrote this, when I wrote this back in 2014. Back in 2014, so 12 years ago.

So I'm going to look at Zechariah. Five. And go through it a little bit because I'm curious. Just make sure. Because I would like to check myself.

Even after a few years, something's sitting there. Have I missed something? Have I learned something since?

So let's look. It says Let's see. Lifted up eyes again. Behold, there was a flying scroll. What do you see?

I entered a flying scroll and gave the dimensions. He said, This is the curse that's going forth over the face of the land. I'll make it go forth, declares the Lord of hosts, and will enter the house of the thief and the house of the one who swears. People spend the night within that house and consume the number, the timber, and the stones that uh. That is the writing on the side.

The scroll will do this. Then the angel who was speaking with me went out and said, Lift up now your eyes, see what's going forth. I said, What is it? He said, This is the Ifah. Going forth again, he said, This is their appearance in all the land.

Behold. A lead cover was lifted up. That's interesting, a lead cover. And this is a woman sitting inside the ephah. And then lift up the eyes to look.

Behold, two women were coming out of the wind with their wings. They had wings like the winds of a stork. They lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heavens. I said to the angel who was speaking to me, where are they taking the earth? Yeah, so it does not say that the two women figures were angels, but they were representatives of the wickedness of the problem that was coming.

So that's good. I'd like to confirm what I've written years ago, and that's what that was. All right, so there's that. Let's see, get another question. I want to invite my Catholic mother To read a book with me.

She believes that there is no physical evidence for God, we must rely on blind faith. Huh These are the three books I was considering. Would you recommend one over the other? The Case for Christ, Mere Christianity, Evidence to Advance a Verdict?

So Yeah, um No physical, she said, there's no physical evidence for God.

So All right. Physical evidence. Physical evidence. I would ask questions: why does there need to be physical evidence? What does physical evidence look like?

A footprint? A God's footprint? And if it was a footprint in the mud, how do you know it was God's footprint? What would be the physical evidence? A parting of the Red Sea?

What would be the physical evidence? The resurrection of Christ? And I would ask about different qualifications for what would justify his physical evidence to see if. such a person uh would would be consistent in how he or she is analyzing this. Because it says we must rely on blind faith alone.

It's never the case. We don't just arbitrarily believe because blind faith is simply arbitrary. Blind faith means no basis. That's arbitrariness by definition. But Christians don't do that.

They affirm the records, the gospels of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus for our sins.

So there's not blind faith, it's informed faith and decision to make.

Now, when I talk about this with atheists, they tell me that you cannot decide to believe anything. You can't decide to believe in God. I said, oh, yes, you can. And they just laugh. No, you can't.

You can't decide to believe in something. I said, yeah, you can. I said let's just say that um You meet a friend of yours, and you haven't seen this friend for two years. and the person says that he was away in jail. And uh that he said he was in jail for a year and a half.

Now Do you have any proof? No. You're just going on his word. Yes, you are. you can then decide to believe he's telling you the truth.

You can decide that you will trust him. based on what you see, what you know, what you conclude. Even though there's no proof, it's just him saying it, he could be lying.

So you decide to believe something. Yeah, you can decide to believe things. And so, uh, it's it, but back to this issue, it's not blind faith.

So, which of those books would I recommend? A Case where Christ has good evidence that demands a verdict is very good. Mere Christianity is good they're all good. They're all good. They have good values, each one of them, different areas.

So, yeah, I would do that. Yeah. All right, 1 John 3:9 says a Christian doesn't commit sin, but in 1 John 1.8 says we're not without sin. How can it be both?

Okay. Let me go and I'll explain. 1 John 3.9.

So we go to 1 John 3:9, and it says, The one who's born of God, or no one who's born of God, practices sin. The NESB says practices. What literally the Greek says is that no one who is born of God, of the God. Literally, it's of of the Yeah. Uh Poyer.

Now the word poie in Greek is um Is two. to to do to make. The form of this is a present active indicative. Yeah. So present tense is he does not sin.

The hint here is in the practice of, in the abiding in. as I I remember in seminary taking Greek. That our professor said the present tense in Greek has a little bit of verbal cont, a little bit of verbal content. Context, a little bit of verbal quality.

So verbal is walking, talking, participial. Walking, talking, eating, the ing. Even though it's not a participial form here, the present tense contains, in Greek, more than in English, a continuous action in the present.

So that's why the NESB translates it as no one born of God practices sin. And that's it.

Now, let me go to other translations to see what they send. They send. What they say. ESV says it makes a practice of sin. King James does not commit sin.

RSV commits, fodder does not practice sin is the LEB. NIV says we'll continue in sin. Uh does not send you it's a CSP.

So, yeah, it's the the translations do that for that reason. And there you go. Hope that's helpful. All right, there's a break. If you want to give me a call, all you got to do is dial 877-2072276.

Right back. It's Matt Slick Live, taking a call at 877-207-2276. Here's Matt Slick. All right, Welcome back to the show. If you want to give me a call, all you got to do is dial 8772072276.

I want to hear from you. Give me a call. We have nobody waiting right now.

I just want to let you know that we stay on the air by your support. It's been difficult lately, and I do want to thank you, those of you who have supported and gone there to the donation page and helped us out. It really does help. We still are struggling and uh just the way it is. Um We're not comfortable by any means, but if you are interested in checking us out and considering supporting us, we ask $10 a month.

You give a little more, give a little less, we don't care. All you're gonna do is go to carm.org. And at the top of the page, you'll find the word donate, carm.org, c-ar-r-m dot o-r-g.

Now, if you're a new listener, uh, Don't you know the support is not at all. We don't care what I've been doing radio now for 23 years, and we stay on the air by the people's support.

So periodically, I need to let people know. And this ministry is not, the purpose is not to gain money. It's not what we want to do at all. Our purpose is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. But we need to keep the lights on, pay the missionaries that we too in Africa we have, too, in South America we have, as well as paying for software licensing, for hosting.

For web development, for all kinds of stuff that are just necessary, as well as the radio cost, which is substantial on a monthly basis.

So, if you like what you hear in the air and you want me to continue, all you got to do is just support us by going to carm.org forward/slash. Donation, or donate, I mean, or you can go to the Carm site at the top of the pages where donate. Also, I just want to let you know that we have a prayer ministry, and Joanne runs that. It does a great job. If you need prayer, all you got to do is just email us: prayer at Carm.org.

And she has a bunch of people, and she gets the information out. And it's not, there's no gossip. We don't give the information away. It's just for the prayer team. And then they lift people up in prayer.

Also, since I'm talking like this, we have three schools that I've written: one on apologetics, one on theology, and one on critical thinking. And if you are interested in checking out those schools, you can go to learn.carm.org. Just put the word learn. Before carm.org, or I think you just go there to the site and just type in schools, school of theology, and you can find it out. Yep, learn.carm.org.

And you can sign up. And we are in the process now, we've begun a process of converting them over to a new format. And it's going to take months. And we don't have enough money to do it. We have a programmer who's doing it, and I've got a deal working out with him.

We'll just pay him a little bit. And each time we pay him, he devouts a little bit more. And we're just trusting God. He's a Christian. He's got to work and feed his family, and he's got other projects, and we don't have enough to pay it.

So we do need these schools taken care of because there are bots that are coming in and causing problems with the schools. There are, let's just say, people who are unethical.

Okay. Excuse me, sorry about that. unethical people who I'm not going to say how or what, but they try and use the schools for and the servers and and stuff for uh less than godly purposes. And we have checks and balances in the in place. But because the technology we uh presently use is several years old, we need to upgrade.

Because uh That the let's just say the sophistication of attacks and stuff increases. Over time, and we need to upgrade.

So that's just what we do. And we use those schools to help pay the missionaries. Because they they do pretty well. They've really been helpful and I have so much to do. I need to write some other schools too.

I want to write one on how to interpret the Bible. Just a lesson plan on how to do that. And I want to convert them, not convert them, but add video lessons and discussions into all of them as well, which would take. A year. I take a year.

To do. Man, so much to do. Let's get to Clinton from Virginia. Clinton, welcome. You're on the air.

Yes, young man, it's been a while since I'll talk to you. All right. I was going to call, and I thought maybe they would be burning you up tonight, but they're not. What I've got, I am reading a book. It's called Crisis Object Lessons.

by E. G. Fwite. It's published out of um Altmont, Tennessee. Printed in the USA in 2020.

And it's a breakdown, it talks about teaching in parables: the sower went forth to sow. What it's doing is breaking it down so you can understand it better than just reading out of a Bible or cross references.

So I just wanted to ask you, would it be worth Or have you ever heard of the book, or would it be worth reading?

So far, I've read half of it.

So, it must be interesting. Yeah, I wouldn't recommend it. And the reason is that. I could tell you a better book if you want to read on parables that will absolutely love. Instead of calling you all the time, some of the stuff is simple.

If you have some kind of a book, it will kind of break it down a little bit more.

So go ahead, you. The book I'm going to recommend is not what we call super simple. It is methodical, very detailed, very good. It's one of the best books I've ever read on parables. And uh It's really worth it.

It's called, it's a two-volume set in one. It's called Poet and Peasant. And uh the second one is through Poet and peasant That's the name of the book, and Through Peasant Eyes.

So If I were to go to Amazon, for example, let's see if I can see I can find it really fast.

Okay. Poet peasant. Uh Peasant by Kenneth Bailey. Yeah. Highly Highly recommend it.

And I'm serious. It's one of the few books that I have read that just taught me page to page to page. I learned.

Okay. And it's good. It'll teach you about stuff called chiastic structures.

Okay, a chiastic structure.

So here's an example of a chiastic structure. Jesus says in Matthew 7. Ask Seek. Knock.

So it's A S K. Ask, seek, knock. For he who asks, for he who seeks, for he who knocks.

So it goes A-S-K-A-S-K.

So it's a chiastic structure.

Now, the parable of the The prodigal son, When you map it out, it looks like a, if you took a, for example, if you took a triangle. And you put the vertical side on the left and the point of the triangle on the right, and then take away the vertical side, you have those at angle. with a parable of the prodigal son. matches that structure. And you have to see you have to see it.

What's going on, which means the point is the middle point, is the point of the whole parable. And it's r It's fascinating. And this guy, what he did was, he went to the cultures and he studied all kinds of stuff from the people who lived it. In these agrarian societies, and with a lot of research, a lot of historical research. He wrote this book and It's phenomenal.

It's one of the ten books I would always want to keep. Yeah, okay. That's what I wanted to ask you because I'm going like yeah, the book is okay, but I don't know how to say, I said, well, let me ask Matt, because he's, you know, Mr. Matt. Hold on, brother.

We've got a break. There's the music coming.

So hold on, okay, if you would. Hey, folks, we have three open lines. You can give me a call. 877-207-2276. We'll be right back.

It's Matt Slick Live, taking your calls at 877-207-2276. Here's Matt Slick. All right, everyone, welcome back to the show. Bottom of the hour. Let's see if Clinton is still there.

He's still on, brother? I sure am.

Now, by the way, If you go to Carm, and I believe if you go to carm.org forward slash parables, let me just check that out. Uh Parables. And Oh, you slime balls. I talk to my computer when it doesn't do what I want.

So I use the computer jacket. I would literally talk to my computer.

So I'd go, you piece of, you'd slimeball. And I would say things.

So it's it's my habit. And uh so I have a section On Carm, if you go to the menu and then you look for parables. That'll be into the Christian theology section. And the parables. Um Yeah, why does it say articles?

That's very interesting. I've got to fix that. Ooh, interesting. We have a little bit of a typical. I'm sorry?

That's how it goes on here. That's true.

Well, we have on the site it says forward slash articles. It was not supposed to be articles, it's supposed to be parables.

So I'll go in and fix that after the show. But I've I've analyzed and extracted information out of that book on the Great Banquet, the Fig Tree, Prodigal Son, Good Samaritan and the Unjust Steward.

So that you can go in and you can read those there and get some basics. And if you really want to study, get that book and study. Oh, it is so good.

Okay. You know what, I'm bringing this up. Uh Bliss Theater Commercial. Um Uh the commercial guy was talking about is a pair of whatever. And I was in the store getting a drink at a Wawa.

And I was talking to a woman about Matt Flick. Have you ever heard of it? Oh, yes, I've heard Matt Flick on the religious channels. I said, Yeah, this guy who comes up and goes. Y'all listen to Matt Flick?

Hey, because you know what I don't like about that man. He likes to he actually get a dog. He likes to do he likes to dog the Mormons. He likes to dog the Yep, that's true. We were laughing.

I mean, I said and it was going on and he said, Oh, you got something sarcastic to say. Wow. I was like, Wow, we could listen to him no more. Yes. Yeah.

Listen, we need a woman's laughing, that's exactly what we say we do, but don't listen to him no more. This guy said. God, he just went nuts. That's trick! I said, it's a call-in show.

Why don't you call in?

So I call in and say, if he goes here, me and him will be cussing on the radio. I said, Lord have mercy, let me get my coffee and get out of here. Oh, so listening to the commercial. I thought of MacFlick, that's MacFlick. That's what it was.

But yeah, I mean, you know, so you're well known.

Well not that, but um You know what I have a story? A story.

Well, Bill McKeever is a friend of mine, and he's an expert on Mormonism, a world-level expert. He's really good. He might be listening right now, he's down in the Salt Lake City area. And so he and I were over at the Utah Christian bookstore, you know, Sander Tanner's thing. This is a few years ago.

And he and I were just I'm just helping him out on a Saturday, keeping him company while he's manning the store. volunteering and these two girls, these two young girls come in. and maybe late teens, mid late teens. And uh they go to the back of the store and where I was sitting talking to Bill, I could glance to my left, I could see down the aisles and they were close to each other. talking, whispering, and then pointing back to To us.

And I thought, okay, they either recognize me or they recognize Bill.

So I walk over to them just to say, Can I help you with anything? And this one girl leans over and goes, Is that Bill McKeever? I'm laughing. And I said, Yes, it is. And they like grabbed each other.

That's really Bill McKeever. That's the Bill McKeever. And I said, You want to meet him? And then they froze. They just froze.

Like, we can't meet him. And I'm cracking up. And and they're like hold on to each other and I said, yeah, I'll call it. He goes, you can't call him. Yeah.

Great. And so I called Bill over. He comes over and they were just starstruck with Bill McEever. And so it's a story I like to say. It's fun.

You know, it's fun stuff.

So At any rate, it's fine. It'll be recognized. Yeah, I get a few stories about being recognized.

Some are funny, some are not. But at any rate.

So how many years have you been doing this on the radio? How many years have you been doing this on the radio? 21 years, five days a week, two years, one day a week.

Okay, so total 23 years. Yeah. And the website you're working on for 30 years in in fact next month it'll be thirty-one years. And it's had over 150 million visitors and I've written about 5,000 articles.

So, um And there you go. 'Cause you know so much about Bobble this one.

Well, um Yeah, uh You know, I just love doing this, and I'm autistic, so I have Asperger's. And we Aspies, we like to call ourselves, generally speaking, see patterns. We're not socially really good, but we see patterns. And I see patterns in theology, and I remember numbers easily.

So I can memorize scripture and I see how scripture and theology fit together. And I have a coherent, kind of a, you know, 20,000-foot view of it all and how it all fits together.

So, um,. And that's it.

You know, I just love doing what I'm doing. Yeah, just love it. It's fun. Well, keep it up. After a while, they'll be making a book about you, how some people don't like you.

Yeah, we've come on a smile, it's also been a joke.

Well, you know, just we've got to call Carter waiting, but we'll get to him in a minute. But this, no, I'm joking, but. I've got stories. I have got some fascinating stories. Maybe I'll tell one.

Oh, I do. You know what it means to be swatted? By any chance? Twouldn't they? Why?

swatted.

Someone called up the police department here in my city And I don't want to say it over the air what they said, because it's pretty bad. And it had to do with ending the life of my wife. It wi that's what they said I did. And they hung up. And so the police, the sheriff, Uh the paramedics showed up with um Uh fire department.

And I got called out on my phone and then called outside, hands in the air, walking backwards, while numerous weapons were pointed at me. And so it's called BC. What? I mean, so what was the rec? I mean, what was all the emergency services there for?

Because of what was said that I had used a weapon to do something. Yeah, and so particularly here in Idaho, everybody carries.

So I had to go through this whole rigmarole at night.

So people have been killed by this. It's called being swatted. And so I've been swatted. And uh they they handcuffed me, put me in the back of a squad car. They said, Where's your wife?

Yeah, they had to go in. Nice. And they said, Uh, where's your wife? and I said, She's under that window right there. And I'm you know, because she just Four or five months earlier, gotten out of open heart surgery.

And so she wasn't real mobile. And I said, you know, I said, she's under that window. Not the best choice of words. But at any rate, they said she, you know, I said, Yeah, she's she's alive. She's had I knew I was being squatted and I said, She's okay, just go in.

You got to clear the house. You got to go check. And so they they called stacking. They just stacked up on their shoulders and went in and five minutes later they came out and un uncuffed me and said, Yeah, you were swatted I go, Yep.

So that that's happened. I got story. I got other stories.

Well, I got stories. No, I bet you do. I mean, I could be.

Well, you enjoy doing that. I mean, you know what? All right, I'm gonna get off here. You got somebody waiting, and I appreciate it. And I won't put the book up.

No, I'll just yeah, I don't know what I'll do with it. I'll probably give it to the bookstore. And I'll talk to you later, young man. I wouldn't even go to the bookstore and put it in trash because it's 7th Avenue stuff.

Okay? The trash.

Okay, gotcha. All right. Thanks a lot, Matt. All right. God bless.

Yeah. All right, now let's get to Patrick from Ohio. Patrick, welcome. You're on the air. Hey Matt, how are you doing tonight?

I'm doing okay. Just having fun. Mm-hmm.

So, what do you got? Good.

Well, so a couple quick things. Being that the last caller brought up books. Um What is your opinion on gaunt sail hammers. writings. I don't know.

Very quickly, and then I'll know who he is.

Okay. Sorry.

Okay. Don't know.

Okay. No, that's okay.

So, my second question is: we're just starting a lesson on. the Sermon on the Mount at church and Um I noticed in Matthew five, two, is if there's the significance of It's specifically saying it now I could have just said Christ began teaching but a very specific and then Christ opened his mouth. and began to teach. And there's, you know, There's a place to lose. Where you know, when Luke starts teaching Ethiopian, where it says, and Luke opened his mouth and began, you know, so.

Is is is that a parallel to, um Hold on, we gotta break. Hold on, we'll be right back.

Okay, hold on, brother. Folks, we have three open lines. If you want to give me a call, 877-207-2276, we'll be right back. It's Matt Slick Live, taking your calls at 877-207-2276. Here's Matt Slick.

All right. Hey, everybody, welcome back to the show. Last segment of the hour. Let's get back with Patrick from Ohio. You're there, brother.

Yep, still here.

Okay. Well, during the break, I did a little research on the phrase opened his mouth, and there's probably opening his mouth and probably variations of it.

So I only did one because I didn't have time to do all of them. But it occurs in the Old Testament as well. Afterward Jod Job opened his mouth and cursed the day. And we have Matthew 5:2, and Philip opened his mouth in the beginning of the scripture, he prophesied. And there's other places.

So it seems to be. in part an idiomatic thing done by the Hebrews. And opening his mouth, he said, Well, we know that you have opened your mouth to speak.

So it seems to be a phrase of emphasis and determination. that uh it's just uh an idiomatic expression of what they they would do.

Okay. Okay. Okay, all right.

Well, thank you very much. Thank you very much. Have a good rest of your night, Matt.

Okay, brother.

Well, God bless.

Okay. You do. All right, there we go.

Now let's get to Al from North Carolina. Al, welcome. You're on the air. Hey, how you doing, Matt? Good okay, man.

Hanging in there. Yeah, here you go. What do you got? I listen to you a lot. It's my first time calling.

I listen to you a lot. Oh good. I like a lot of the answers that you give because because you give them by scriptures. But my question is When God made Adam and Eve, He created Adam and Eve, and He told Him to replenish the earth. Does that mean the earth was populated before administers because when you replenish something, that means you redo it.

That's a King James problem. Yeah, what I would do is not use the King James if you want to do serious Bible study because it has issues like that. And so. A lot of times people will say that the replenishing, reformed, that means that there was a pre-Adamic race. And that's not the case.

And the reason we know that is because of 1 Corinthians 15:45, so also it is written, the first man, Adam, became a living soul. Adam is the first man. There is no pre-dammic race.

Okay. I'm familiar with that speech. Yeah. And that's it.

So there is no pre-demic race of people.

Alright. There's one one Barbara that I used that I studied. It uses the word antedilian billion. I may not be pronouncing it right. Antediluvian?

You know, that's it. Uh anti means Anted means before in deluge, flood. Antediluvian means before the flood, before the flood of Noah's Ark, antediluvian.

Okay, or nose floods. See,'cause some some say that there was a flood before before Adam. No, people who talk like this usually don't have all their paws in the litter box. They um Well, it's true. They will get into Lilith, a woman before Eve, and then there's these, there's a kind of a Realm of things that kind of float in the air in the same general kind of area.

Not that each group affirms all of them, but Lilith is one, a pre-ademic race is another. The gap theory, when the angels fell, that the earth was wiped out and had to repopulate, redo things. Another one is the Kenites that Satan and Eve got together, if you know what I mean, and produced offspring. And so there are these kinds of things that people will adhere to who don't know biblical theology and they. upset people because they they don't they don't know They don't know stuff.

They're they're in error. Yes, sir.

Okay. Thanks for the answer, Matt. All right, man. Let me ask you: for some reason, it popped into my head to ask you: what church do you go to? What kind of church, like a Baptist or what?

It's a non-denominational.

Okay, all right.

I hope no one in that church is teaching this stuff or advocating that kind of thing. No, no, no, it's just not. It's not the churches, it's the the Bibles that I read, he says, says these things. The church doesn't teach doesn't teach it. I just call this.

Just calling to see what you thought about it because I read I read different Bibles and I read different, you know, different books.

Okay. But the church is not teaching this this theology.

Okay, good, good.

Well, what I would suggest is that you Don't throw the King James away, but just get a more modern translation. And let me give you the reasons why. You see, when the King James was translated, let me put it this way: when they first wrote, I'm going to clear my throat. When they first wrote the Bible, the New Testament documents, for example, they wrote them all by the year 100, they were all done. And then they were copied.

These documents were copied and put away, and people were under persecution. They hid the copies. And the Roman Empire then made Christianity legal in the around three twenty five-ish range. And so a lot of these early documents were lost, and some of them that were not lost. were kept and the King James was translated with documents that were copied that the oldest that they had was around the year 1000 to 1200.

So like about a thousand years ago. The King James was translated in the 1600s by documents with documents that were only 400, 500, 600 years old. that they they're copies.

So the King James has, let's just say, some issues. And plus, the language of the King James. has archaic um phraseology from the 1600s. All right. Well, since the King James has been translated, new documents, I don't say new, that's not a right way to put it, older documents.

From archaeological digs, varying discoveries, even more ancient copies. like from the year 200, 300, 400. And they will use those to translate into more modern translations so they have better textual reliability and they use modern language. And therefore, you won't have those kind of problems that the King James presents. Maybe.

Okay. Okay. Now, one one one more thing before before I go. Um A lot of people say King James was wicked. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't.

Well, I don't know if he was or wasn't. But if he was, it doesn't mean the King James' Bible is invalid. It was just a translation. If an atheist. That's exactly what I say, too.

If an atheist translated. If an atheist translated, let's say, the book of John and he's a world-level scholar on ancient Greek, it's what he does, and he's an atheist, and he translates it as best he can, and he's an expert, and it's people say, Man, it's a good translation.

Well, we can't trust him because he's an atheist. No, not at all. It's called the genetic fallacy.

So, is it a true translation? And that's it.

And so, it's not whether King James had it, it was whether the scholars did.

Okay. Yes, sir.

I appreciate I appreciate that. Yeah, yeah, sir, Maddie. I do appreciate it. Thank you, sir. Amen.

You're welcome, Mother. Keep listening and stuff. I'm glad you're listening. Oh, I will. I love your show.

I love your show. That's because you're so smart and humble. That's why. That's why you like the show. That's what it is.

All right, have a good day, man. All right, brother God bless. You know, what's kind of fun is to go to different places, churches on the East Coast. I remember the first time it happened when. When I was just asked to speak on Aden Each Coast, and my show was out there and a whole bit.

And I went to a church that sit in the parking lot and like, oh, okay, I gotta speak here. And and people met me at the parking lot, oh man, we love you, what you do. Like, uh, what you do? It was weird, you know, weird. All right, so.

I'm going to tell you a story. We got nobody waiting. This is a true story. And I don't say this very often because it's a bit of a long story, like three, four minutes, but it's true. All of it is true.

Yeah. And talk about being persecuted and things happening. All right, so, long story short, I'm going to put these things together.

So um Okay, I've lost a son, and the reason that's relative to this is because I had a friend, she's since passed away, who had a friend who was a Satanist. The Satanist woman had lost a daughter, and the situation was. Pretty seriously bad. Yeah. And so when I found out about this, I thought, I want to talk to the Satanist, not to witness, but just to be an ear.

And I I ended up talking to this Sat Satanist for two hours. But I did like 2% of the talking. She just was full of vitriol, and hatred. But she talked. And at the end, she thanked me for listening, because I didn't witness to her.

I just understood the pain of losing a child. And she appreciated that. All right, that's part of the story.

Okay, now. Then at one point, a Satanist woman in another place started threatening my family and me. And the uh The FBI got involved because we're death threats. And so I'm skipping a lot of details. We found out who this was.

The police knocked on the door. It was someone in another country. Then when that person found out that we knew who that person was, they threatened all the more. The first Satanist found out about this, Contacted the second Satanist and threatened the second Satanist and was defending me.

So I had a Satanist defending me against another Satanist. And the reason the first one was defending me was because I was so nice to her over the phone about her the loss of her daughter. And so now I have a Satanist fighting against another Satanist to protect me and my family. That's weird. But wait, there's more.

And so, sometime later, I ended up having a debate series, written debate series, with some atheists. Long story short, they didn't do very well, they looked pretty bad. And so they developed a an attack group for against karm. And they uh they It was on for two and a half years. They really did some bad stuff, and I won't get into details.

They said a lot of it was just gossip and slander and just accusations. And they were trying to destroy my website. and the ministry. And one of the things that they did was they had an inner circle of people that they would give the special information to of the tech, the attack system that they were going to do on my site. And the person they asked, one of them, was that first Satanist.

who was on that team who then fed me information. Of what was going to happen, and said, Don't you ever tell anybody that it was me personally, you know, the name, and I don't want to do that. And so I was able to thwart every attack in advance because I had the information ahead of time, gave it to our server guys, they fixed, put roadblocks up. And it was really, really a problem for that group. Then one day, I get a brother from my call, a brother from my call, a call from my brother who's in Missouri.

And he asked if I knew a certain person, and I said, Yeah, I know this person. He heads up this group against the ministry that I'm doing, karm. And he's caused all kinds of problems. I'm skipping all kinds of stuff. And I said, well, wait a minute, how do you know who this guy is?

Nobody knows who he is. And he says, He works for me. The guy who headed up this group That was attacking the Karn ministry, who had a Satanist on the inside, was also the guy who. Who's my bos his boss was my brother. and my brother overheard him mentioning my name at a Christmas party.

And so do. You're attacking Matt Slick? He goes, Yeah. He goes, Because my brother's name is Eric Slick. And he says, He's my brother.

So of all this is all seriously all true Could you imagine the This is how it all works together? I ended up going out there to see my dad, my brother. My dad was passing away, and our dad, I should say, and met this guy, this Satanist guy, I mean, this atheist guy. And I said, funny, small world, isn't it, how God works things out. That's the short version of all of it.

But God He does some weird things. And it's all what I just said was true. It's all true.

So there we go. We are out of time. The music is going to be starting any second. It should have already started. And may the Lord bless you.

And I hope that He keeps you. And have a great evening, everyone. And by God's grace, we'll be back on there tomorrow. And we'll talk to you then. Have a great evening, everyone.
