This the Festival of Tabernacles. It's the day after the last presidential debate and its thoroughly Jewish Thursday all come your way on one of fire stage for the line of fire with your host activist and author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown your voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution Michael Brown is the director of the coalition of conscience and president of fire school of ministry get into the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH. That's 866-34-TRUTH your again is Dr. Michael Brown.

Yes, there is a lot to talk about today and I do want to talk about things relevant to the elections things relevant to our country here in America but it is thoroughly Jewish Thursday. This is your thoroughly Jewish host Michael Brown here is number because just a regular numbers in a thoroughly Jewish number just regular number 866-34-TRUTH that is 866-34-TRUTH 784 with any Jewish related question as well. All right, that's 86634 to with any Jewish related question as well, but I do want to put out a question for you if you watch the debate last night. Were you upset that Donald Trump did not say yes I will accept the results of the election. Whatever they are we upset by that one wonder what your feedback is not who you think want to debate that we are voting for. But were you personally upset with Donald Trump saying I'm gonna keep you in suspense with enough to look at it.

I can tell you now if I would accept the results of the vote. Have a whole article on the question of what if just a what if Bill Clinton stole the election. You could also say what if Donald Trump start with any candidate stolen but since the question was, what if Hillary Clinton one illicitly illegally breaking rules by voter fraud. Should those results be accepted. We upset with what, Donald Trump had to say. According to Charles Krauthammer. It was political suicide. Others are saying no, we did the right thing your take on that, but again will also take you Jewish related questions and on this festival of Tabernacles's Sukkoth Sukkot is the flow for Sue, Sue, Sue, is a a but a booth or a tabernacle sukkah is the way it would be pronounced colloquially. You see religious Jews see messianic Jews building these in their backyard to see the behind the synagogue and it is a temporary hut where you eat certain meals. You don't sleep and spend the night there is as as a ruler is for a practice would be but you sit and talk and have meals there.

It's a reminder of Israel wandering in the wilderness also associated with Tabernacles is the ingathering of the nations. Many Christians and Jews share that same hope. With regard to Tabernacles and also of interest. Each major holy day. There are certain passages of Scripture that are read there read to coincide with the special festivals holy days. So for example Passover. What is read song of Solomon why it speaks in Jewish interpretation of the love relationship between God and Israel right so that's why song Solomon is ready Passover drink, shovel, at the feast of weeks, the book of Ruth is read it's it's a story having to do with the harvested of course this is an agricultural festival as well it ties in with that in other themes that would relate to it in rabbinic interpretation. The day of fasting and prayer young keep or day of repentance.

What what book is read then specially among other Scriptures. Jonah because Jonah is the great story of repentance in God except in the repentance of the fasting of the people of Nineveh. What book of the Bible is read in Jewish tradition during the festival. Tabernacles it's not the only thing read but it is the one book specifically that is read at this time of year when executives is Ecclesiastes, Koheleth why because it speaks of the temporary nature of life. He speaks of the transitory nature of life and of course Ecclesiastes speaks of not more than that as well. But when you are living in this tabernacle.

Spending time eating, drinking, speak with your friends sitting and studying in that place that reminds you that he is just passing through your tabernacle here in this world. Just some thoughts during tabernacle. 866-34-TRUTH will be right back.

The line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get into the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown (two I want to give me some thoughts on the presidential debate last night.

Williamson thoughts on some of the matters relating to the elections with your calls as well 866-34-TRUTH but first is this is thoroughly Jewish Thursday. One speak to one of my esteemed friends and colleagues, Paul Wilbur, one of the great joys of my life is to minister together with Paul, one of the most anointed Psalmist worship leaders songwriters in the world and with a wonderful gift from the Lord on his life.

A man who loves the Lord. But with a great gift of God on his life. That is, he worships the Lord your all brought into sacred powerful worship and we had great times ministry side-by-side over the years Paul I will come back to the line of fire. Thanks Mike, great to join you today hey it's it's Tabernacles and you've had some amazing experiences around the world. When we saw each of the last week you said you been to what 70+ nations to minister yeah I think it's 7273 incredible incredible of so you have seen some of God's work in the nations even Muslim nations some years back.

You made your first trip down to Latin America and were kind of stunned about what you found in the crowds. What what happened. I found a people so passionate that it was so compelling to join and I'd I go, supposedly of the worship leader and and many times I would find myself closing my mouth. Stepping back from the Mike just to listen to them, saying them and worship the Lord is like our team would become the specific court band for the for the people who came it.

It was so refreshing me even sometimes Mike I would come home.

I remember what I came home from Latin America and and were talking about crowds of 10,000 20,000 30,000 people and many times in an enclosed place and I learned quite early on, not the state of them critical. Go soils give a shout to the Lord because they they would respond with such passion and sound.

I actually let you know I'm I'm a Harley guy and and we have a reputation for liking loud pipes while not like loud drums that you select the client percussions that that's that's minister that's that's an old an old story that would be in another complete show.

Probably a couple hours but I came home from one of these trips. I got on my motorcycle and and started the engine and assert what's wrong symptoms. Something is wrong with the pipes and actually drove over to the Harley dealer and said you need to check some business but something's wrong the pipes are not right.

It doesn't sound prep and they take it back and put it on the sound machine and check out the decibel levels. You know what the volume I bring back I found out that my ears were trying to protect themselves from the shouts of praise of the people where I had just come from, and is like being up in an airplane if they needed time to recover. So all yeah man it's in fact I'll be in just a couple of days will be back in Argentina and then over to Chile and I'm and I'm looking forward to now. I wear earplugs yes when you went down your sauce is been translated into Spanish and is just a great connection to Israel and the God of Israel, and in many of these nations. I remember you telling that you had a helicopter you from one place to another gets out of the stadium and time is it was it was like rock star treatment and what it was. Was this this connection to the God of Israel is so it is happening around the world. We don't have time to talk about your Muslim bodyguard and all that stuff in an attic another country, but deep before Tobit, the city of Jerusalem. You and our mutual friend Scott Vaux got sexy hosted to chauffeur me several times. The two of you are going to have a new TV program on Christian TV together for Israel had the joy of recording some shows with you guys last week. What's the vision of that we have noticed over decades now with a renewed interest Christian Zionism all around the world people are raising all kinds of funds hundreds of millions. Actually, every year with the premise that these funds are being distributed to Israel what at whatever that is, wherever they go. They make the determination and listen. I'm I'm happy for any time. People want to support the state of Israel and support the Jewish people. With regards to all the things are happening in the world.

With the rise of anti-Semitism BDS movement. The whole anti-Zionism anti-Judaism anti-Christianity. I'm really happy for these people. But the problem that we've discovered Mike is that none of these funds get to the to the believers to our own brothers and sisters.

Those who are standing for issuer in the land. Those who are living lives as Jewish believers. None of the funds reach them. Most of them live below the poverty line. The congregation struggled to to meet the needs and we are purpose think that the funds that are raised through the program are going to go directly and have been even before the program airs directly to the believers in the land to support them in any way that we can and were believing to raise millions tens of billions and by God's grace hundreds of millions to bring some of these even congregations to a place of self sustaining so that the pastors don't have to leave Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa to go out into the nations to raise funds so that they can continue their work in the Lance difference you can find out more about together for Israel by going to together for Israel.org and will let you know when the shows begin to air up all week we've got just about three minutes this past Monday night I was unable to attend this past Monday night, my home congregation. Scott Voelker showed the new video of the city of the great King. We've been offering it through her ministry last week and this week powerful documentary on the city of Jerusalem. The significance of the people were deeply moved by it. Why is this a subject that matters to the whole body. Well, if it should be. First of all, because in a minute. If you have even a casual reading of your Bible, you'll find that the apostle policy travel throughout the nations was raising funds constantly for who for the saints of Jerusalem. This is to me this is a deep matter of conviction that we love the things that God loves. We hate the things that God hates and and when we take a stand. You know, people will commonly quote Genesis 12 three.

I'll bless those who bless you Walker but that can be a self-serving thing. I mean where is our passion for loving what God loves when he says I love Jerusalem only for Zechariah 81.

I am burning with jealousy for you in a casual reading of Romans 910 and 11. If that doesn't if that doesn't answer the question for you. You need to read your Bible with different eyes living in and such a time. Mike of fulfilled prophecy of God's promises that he made way back to Abraham and Isaac, and Jacob. It should be such a great encouragement to Christian brothers and sisters site look, I mean this people scattered and dispersed and beaten and chased and bruised, and wounded and got it faithful. They remained a people. Throughout the millennia he's keeping his promises to the Jewish people to Israel to Jerusalem, I know I can trust him to keep his promises to me" what's happened just got a minute when you have led worship in Jerusalem and the nations have been there is that. Is there something unique about that. You know I wish we had a lot more time.

Just this past Sunday night we did a feast of Tabernacle celebration with dancing banners and flags.

I had my team there and Mike. It was so thick in the presence of God beach list at times stand there with tears rolling down my face and it brings me back to Jerusalem in 1995. Back in 98. Back in 2000 back in 06, standing there in the land. Anyone who's been knows that all of a sudden seemed like all of your emotions and all of your your natural understanding is heightened. It's like you're on some kind of electric shock kind of mechanism every everything is supersensitive but the presence of God. He loves Jerusalem and were going to take this coming find that hi Austin hey Paul, I love you man this place is because friends go to Wilbur ministry Wilbur ministries.com. Thanks so much in the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown is right, you blew it up by totally wrong answer on accepting the result like that was Charles Krauthammer speaking last night on Fox news after the debate free specifically to Donald Trump saying that he would not guarantee that he would accept the results of the election and we go to your Jewish lady calls in a moment, 866-34-TRUTH 784 I also want to take your calls on if that upsets you those good things you Donald Trump sent hey if the system is corrupt. Why should I accept it limit display little more from Charles Krauthammer will go to clip number 1050 this is political suicide because what was his task tonight is pastor night was to stop the slide slide had to do with people who are grudgingly going over to Clinton who don't want it was held out for a year, but for the last three weeks that I can't have drunk this was his opportunity to show that I like to change their views on calling but if they could change their views on Trump to make them less toxic and acceptable as president, and less radical. Yes, they want a change agent David that they think the countries on the wrong track, but they don't want to radical who will challenge the foundations of the Republic.

Yes, you criticize conditions to change Washington, etc. that you don't challenge the legitimacy of an election and hold up the prospect of actual nonacceptance.

Now Charles Krauthammer is far wiser in his political judgments and I am in terms of his history of understanding Washington DC in the related to the and I fully understand the danger of chaos and anarchy members Donald Trump's way in power if he loses and he doesn't accept the results. Who knows what people could do that could be terribly volatile and dangerous is one of the reasons people are concerned about him as president. On the flipside, what if he had said this, of course, 100%. I will accept the results, whatever they are, as long as their fair and legal.

But if they are not fair and legal and there is voter fraud going on on a wide basis that steals the election for me then I will certainly challenge that you can argue with that.

Who could argue with that and halftime of trough is set speaking Delray County Fairgrounds today.

I will accept the results of the election. If I win what I'm wondering about the if this is gonna rather than drive people away. Energize more people that say finally someone is taking on the whole system fair question to ask is it not then you can read my relevant article on that by going to the line of fire.org when you're there, click on digital library. We got three brand-new videos exposing the media's bias talk about some to be relevant.

Starting in Manassas, Virginia with Joseph, welcome to the line of fire. Thanks for having me. I have a quick question here about the Torah reading cycle. I was just curious about when it started and when and why they stopped reading the whole, I appreciate the year okay the first part of the question is difficult to answer with any type of absolute assurance. We do know in the.

The book of Nehemiah the eighth chapter is that the people of Israel gathered together after the exile and the, the law of God is being read publicly and the people are weeping as their hearing it. We understand that that this was something that did happen in Israel's history, but the specific cycle that we have exactly when it started in terms of the weekly reading of the Torah so that it's read through in the entire that that cycle being finished.

Now, at this time of the year on the Jewish calendar so we started the new year of reading shortly.

So when when did that originate. We don't know for sure it's it's a fairly certain that in Jesus day it was ready fixed with two different cycles one in Israel and one in one in Babylon and Babylon. They did the weekly cycle so that in one year, you would read through the whole Torah and then this was supplemented with other readings, which then became fixed at a later time.

We don't know exactly when, but it seems an issue is date they were not yet fixed and then in injury. Dan in Israel of the custom was to read through it in a three year cycle. So in that three year cycle, the, the Scriptures would be would be read all of the Torah and then against supplemental readings from the prophets, but from what we can tell, again, these were not fixed at that time as they been fixed for many centuries, we say that because when we see for example in Luke four that Yeshua takes the scroll and reads from the prophet Isaiah was that the fixed reading for that day.

It's possible but it's also possible that he was able to just read a portion because you could see share freely from that that may be reflected elsewhere in the book of acts where a speaker would come in and they say, "do you have centered your Jewish leader from another community, just so that you want to share they could share from the Scriptures, but at at a certain point, not that long after the first century. It seems that the readings were fixed and then a certain point, some centuries after that, the Babylonian cycle.

The weekly cycle became the preeminent cycle.

Now when you talk about the reading of the Torah in its entirety on it initially to hear aberrant bear in mind that even though we do have the seventh year cycle recognized traditional Jews do not believe that they can fix with certainty the year of Jubilee and so any practices that would be biblical practices on the year of Jubilee. So after the 77 so the 50th year of those would not be practiced, but normally, whatever can be practiced regarding the seven year cycle that is done, and that cycle is as follows.

And if they would stay right stay right there. Joseph got a break coming up again. For those of you leaving me after just 1/2 an hour.

Remember, you can keep listening online. If you use the radio feed you can just go to the line of fire.

If you'd like to call in with a question, 866-348-7884 that you miss any part of the show discover the line of fire.org later today. Listen to the show in its entirety by some of the writeback for others. Have a great day. It's the line of fire with your host activist, author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution get into the line of fire now by calling 86643 here again is Dr. Michael Brown thank you much for joining us on this thoroughly Jewish Thursday 866-34-TRUTH 87884 any Jewish related questions you have for me for lines are open also.

Also, I curious to know what your response was to Donald Trump saying the presidential debate last night that he couldn't guarantee that he would accept the results of the election.

Obviously, if he thinks things are rigged and there's fraud going on that will be a concern in my view, the right way to answer is this, of course, accept the results, whatever they are absolutely's loss is fairly good of course absolutely encourage all of our supporters to do so as well. But what if things are rigged.

What is this massive voter fraud. What if, in fact, things are done to steal votes from people and given to others. Should I accept that without protest obviously not think that's the better way to to address that. But again, I wasn't there during the debate he was 866-34-TRUTH-ite a `Joseph thanks rolled into the break out what the passage of Scripture were you thinking about that mandated the reading of the Torah on the should be to year and that it's not being done today.

I believe it. Deuteronomy 30 out, but I think in Deuteronomy 30 I think that every idle read all this entire library of peer something on the line you sure you are thinking of the, the blessings and the curses that were mentioned.

I may have been right right yeah so so if if you would have been talking about that for example in in Deuteronomy chapter 27 just want to know specifically what what you have in mind so that you know you you going to the land and then you inscribe that the law on the stones and some some take it to mean all of the law. Many others would say just means the specific blessings and specific curses that were there and that these were then to be proclaimed, but asked as to why a practice that would have mandated the reading of the law every seven years without people would not be done. The apparent answer would be because of the cycle of reading the law through every year. So it's being read much more much more frequently to meet that particular need of it. II just I am just curious to see if there's anything else of interest about the biblical command that I missing that you are thinking about or the the rabbinic tradition. Subsequent to that and if so will let you know hey thank you for calling 866-348-7884. All right here is this is interesting. Chris Wallace deftly my view, the view of many was the best debate moderator in the three presidential debates really hands down, and I felt equally pressed both candidates.

I wonder was that the overall speaking to him was that if you find that I'm curious with the overall speaking time was for each candidate last night, but Chris Wallace this father was a practicing Jew.

This is on forward.com is a set of Russian immigrants. He recited this bopper every night before he went to sleep so that service rulers or gobblers.

One, he was often accused of being a self hating Jew because of his hard-hitting investigative pieces about Israelis and Palestinians idea here is the rebutted quote. I have long admired the courage and determination of the Israelis and sympathize with their yearning for a secure estate. He wrote the piece about his coverage of Israel have similar feelings about Palestinians but I'm an American reporter Jew who believes in going after facts on the ground. This Daniel Pearl did and reported and accurately, with the chips fall where they may. Interestingly, those on Fox News. He is a registered Democrat quote the reason I registered Democrat is in Washington DC there is really only one party. If you want to say and who's going to be the next nightmare councilman you have to vote in the Democratic primary. But it's interesting to see does not have at all all right.] Because 866-34-TRUTH the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown, Barack Obama.

I believe right now to take over the United Nations in your marriage with Barack Obama as the ultimate global organizer working with her with the drumbeat of media behind the yes that was the voice of Lance wall now in our to our interview yesterday supposed one hour became to which it is many causes we could from you or your listeners. That said, you have a problem voting for Donald Trump or you're adamant that you would not vote for Donald Trump, a please go to my website.

The line of fire.org just click on the digital library and you'll see a YouTube link. You can actually listen to the two hours that we spent together on YouTube and real real eye-opening discussion and evaluate. Evaluate right before you go back your calls on this thoroughly Jewish Thursday I I did something yesterday I was recording a teaching for my new book, written with Nancy breaking the stronghold of food you hear more about that next week and I was I was doing a teaching on it and it was supposed to go about 20 minutes or so and I will stick to roughly we have it as a set time recording this video that will make available a certain point when I was done I felt I was over it.

I thought I was over 20 minutes, maybe a little shy of 25 and when I asked the guys that were working on the video with me.

This is 23 minutes and then last week I recorded 20 something one minute segments on a Hebrew word that that will air on on a friends, TV broadcast, and because I'm looking at the camera was looking down the clock and basically did all of them to spontaneously with I think I was within three or four seconds in a minute each time that I sent some when you do stuff enough you get used to it you know say we have these internal clocks are internal reminders and did you know that it's with all of us.

If we do something enough you, works like that. Well I'm I'm watching the debate last night and I'm also cycling in my mind who went for who was given I thought Hillary spoke more than Trump. I Heino he interrupted more but I just thought he he spoke, she spoke more than he did the last one he got maybe 30 seconds more time to her semi-this check it out. She got 41 minutes and 46 seconds and he got 3541.

That's a six minute difference. That is all lot of time and I did feel that just as things were unfolding that there were times that he was asked the question he he said he had to say She was asked a question she had what she had to say.

He responded and that she responded again.

They didn't get to go and then he would say something she would respond and he would get response so perhaps in that way. Chris Wallace failed to assure that there was equal time for each candidate. Otherwise, I thought he did a terrific job in many ways, 86634. Should we go to James and Frederick, Maryland. Welcome to the line of fire. Good afternoon. Thursday I just wanted you are everywhere.

What you're up to, quite beyond list lose about the NASCO nation passing a resolution to eliminate the Hebrew and English names for the amount in order to just let it be referenced by the model names yeah James it's I've spoken about it on the air. Thank you so much for bringing it back up.

It's a complete outrage it it is that words fail when discussing how absolutely outrageous this is.

That was a Palestinian sponsored measure UNESCO's the educational arm of the United Nations and they said that there is no historic Jewish connection to the Temple Mount.

Yes, there is no historic Jewish connection to the temple mount. This was some of the propaganda that Palestinians have put forth for years. It is propaganda as ridiculous as is saying that Ronald Reagan has no connection to the United States but you know it would be as as as Prime Minister Netanyahu said it would be like saying that China has no connection to the Great Wall of China or Egypt has no connection to the pyramids, or peanut butter is no connected to jelly. I mean how how far are you are you going to take it in mother's have no connection to babies and and and on and and on what's wild is that there were only six nations that oppose this vote in UNESCO United States being one of them Jewish leaders have have lambasted the Italian government because they abstained. There were over 20 nations that abstain in votes and racers like China and Russia voted for it now, which you should know is this is completely in keeping completely in keeping with the UN pattern for decades. It's a miracle that Israel was recognized by the United Nations.

Some of the reasons behind it are are really wild and obviously without the horrors of the Holocaust. It seems impossible to think you ever would've recognized that, but this is in keeping with the pattern as Florida Johnny Lebanese born Middle Eastern scholar at Johns Hopkins University as he said in 1991 the Jerusalem foundation forum that I was at where Dan Rather moderated the discussion between Henry Kissinger and Florida. Johnny and I got to ask them both questions. Prof. Johnny said candidly that Saddam Hussein uses nerve gas.

I was own people you are killing thousands of Kurds and UN says nothing. Israel uses teargas on protesters in the UN goes crazy it is.

It is not just a double standard.

It is complete historical reconstruction of the 20 I found the listing you have a few of them country, but I only see documentation of all, I'll pull that up I don't have in front of me at this at the moment, James, but I will I will pull it out and are you are you listening on WAV AFM when you called in current right will table it your we are not on right now, so stay there on the phone and you'll be able to keep listening.

Right there on your phone as soon as I get that list for you I will I will share it on the air nations that voted for this ridiculous resolution nations voted against it and the nations that abstain. So stay right there 866-34-TRUTH 87884 of its go to Matt in Rockville, Maryland. Welcome to the line of fire. By doing well thank you good going through Leviticus and I can handle part where God provided blood on my report and my knowledge. You don't really sacrifice animal MRI and contribute monetarily or something atonement and but with God being the earth. How can a you know like and ignore that alternative method. Yes sir. They they don't ignore it. The tour is also very specific that the sacrifices could only offer that the place that God ordained so when the Temple was destroyed which experiences the year at 70.

They are not able to offer sacrifices, traditional Jews pray daily for the rebuilding of the Temple and the ability to offer the sacrifices again, they would say the greatest means of atonement is repentance. That's what God is looking for at first so they put the emphasis on that yes they they do give charitably leaving that this is this is a righteous act that should be done and they believe that you might pass through certain suffering in this world. As a result of your sandwich as a way of quote paying for your sins.

So to say, but they eagerly await the rebuilding of the temple. They do believe that they can be forgiven through repentance, through prayer, through charity to sacrifice meaning things that they may sacrifice or suffixes messages suffering, not a sacrifice are for the wrong where the confusion there. We press very strongly in our writings in our preaching or teaching out restore Jewish people that without blood atonement.

There is no atonement for the nation that without blood sacrifices.

There is no tome, and so either God has left the entire Jewish community, bereft of atonement for the last 2000 years or he did pronounce judgment on our sin, but now provided us with a better way through the blood of the Messiah who fulfills with the blood sacrifices are all about you find out more about these kinds of questions Matt by going to my website Esther to Brown.org existed Jewish.

Click on there that'll take you to a real Maasai website will he answer lots questions like this and also have both written and video responses to God bless you for plan and the Expo line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown into the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown (by the way we play traditional Jewish songs at the beginning of some of our segments. These folks again are not believers were not implying that there believers, meaning believers in Jesus the Messiah. Replace all the clips from our messianic Jewish friends who decidedly are believers in Yeshua as the Messiah, but just for your information here lots of different voices at the beginning of thoroughly Jewish Thursday right before we go back to the phones.

Matt, thanks for grabbing the info for me. So the answer to question James in Frederick Maryland who supported the shameful UNESCO vote and let's just see. This is a lengthy website here, but easy to find out who who who supported the following nations voted yes to support the resolution that the Jewish people have no connection to historic connection to the temple mount again. Mind boggling the city to its juice every year next year in Jerusalem, the city has been the one and only capital the Jewish people. For virtually the last 3000 years the city to its religious Jews turned every day as they pray.

No historic connection between the Temple Mount is now the ones that are Muslims and in when you live in the Middle East. They live in Jerusalem He lived south of Jerusalem which way the face you face away from Jerusalem towards Mecca. When you praise a Muslim. So here is the. The list of shame. The following nations voted yes to support the resolution Algeria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Chad China, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Malaysia, Morocco, Aurelius-asset.

Sorry, Mexico, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan and Vietnam. The six countries that voted no Estonia. I'd be curious to know why Germany, Lithuania.

Interesting to Eastern European countries, Netherlands, United Kingdom and United States. God bless those six nations for what they did. The abstentions abstaining. Are you kidding me Albania Argentina Cameroon El Salvador France Ghana Greece Guinea Haiti, India, Italy, Ivory Coast, Japan, Kenya, Nepal, parkways, St. Vincent and Nevis Slovenia South Korea Spain Sri Lanka Sweden Togo, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda and Ukraine, Serbia and Turkey Turkmenistan were absent from the vote, presumably deliberately avoid the issue entirely. Tell 24 to 6 with what was 20 something abstentions crazy shame on you. And shame on UNESCO 86634 should let us go to Cody in Beaumont, Texas.

Welcome to the line of fire around Buffington. You and your ministry all you do. I want back about the fair Bible translation expelled at CEP HDR.

I presumably say fair yeah go ahead. Yeah, you did it right.

I do know the German level and are respected and are you really going got it and and recommended me and I know that had the Apocrypha and different work like that and I checked the website and I know you have a lot articles on and I didn't see anything about it so wanted to call and ask your opinion. Yeah, I I've only looked at it very briefly, to be honest I have no problem with in between the old and New Testament it in between the Scriptures, they are having the Apocrypha say, hey, this is not Scripture that we recognize the importance of these writings. For historical purposes and and and things like that but the wet when I when I looked at this. I had some concerns. To be honest I I but it was a strange thing to spell safer with her with her see that because that's that's the word for for booking he be you know spell it within with an ass so we know why they Trent transliterated life that is is an odd same whatever the reason they say they set forth the sacred names of the father son and Holy Spirit. So I'm just looking at the website not I had looked at it some months ago and said that I would not I would not recommend it. Yet what one reason is they get names wrong. For example, they they've come up with this thing. The whole law for Yahweh. So you can see that over and over in a name that never existed that never ever existed and then you're going to get instead of Yeshua.

What you get to the Yahoo OSHA again and then it never existed. So that's enough for me to tell you. Stay away that the scholarship is that bad that the they want to put" sacred names find if you want to say with a with a are really in Hebrew or in Greek or anything like that but what we do that off on something that fundamental and then worse still, yes.

And now I'm just remembering worse still okay in Hebrew. You have; direct object marker right which is is at it so happens to be the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet is the significance and it is just a direct object marker. It means the word following is a direct object so Genesis 113 sheets brought looking at Hashemi of tolerance in the beginning God created at the heavens and at the earth. It has no significance. It has no translation value whatsoever and although there is an ancient Greek translation that was hyper literal to try to find significance of this is recognized by all reputable Hebrew scholars and translators for centuries, millennia. I would rather look at it that there is no translation significance in it and they say unaware restoring this so stay away from it is not good scholarship who have recommended it meant well, but they recommended it in absolute ignorance. In terms of the actual content. So stay away from it not worth your time.

When you get a good Jewish translation. The Scriptures get the tree of life version I participated in that you won't be led astray reading that okay all right, thank you for the call.

If the Festival of Tabernacles. It's the day after the last presidential debate and its thoroughly Jewish Thursday all come your way on the line of fire. Time for the line of fire with your host activist and author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown your voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution Michael Brown is the director of the coalition of conscience and president of fire school of ministry get into the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH. That's 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown. I'm looking inside the say.

Fair Bible. I imagine the folks behind work hard on it and really try to produce something special, but every every page of Savage's name spelled completely wrong and misleading ways in and stay away from it. If there are a ton of other patrons.

I so just asked about it last hours of starting this hour. Without even a welcome to greeting, but I dislike and that is a biblical scholar, my PhD in Semitic languages.

This kind of stuff bothers me all right welcome welcome to the broadcast. Its thoroughly Jewish Thursday it's the day after the presidential elections were in the mists of celebration, a feast of Tabernacles. When you think it's something to actually be celebrated or something simply to understand. Biblically, we welcome you to join us today 866-34-TRUTH 87884LII want to I want to play a clip for you from last night's debate that I think is relevant to thoroughly Jewish Thursday JJ clip number five.

This was a semi-one of the stronger points of Donald Trump last night. Each one had strong points. Each one had weak points but listen to this debate their discoverer. In effect, JJ. Let's go to. Let's go to clip number four first clip number four. This is from last nights debate in a spatial game to a Brazilian bank for which were paid $225,000 we've learned from the WikiLeaks that you sent us and I want to quote my dream is a hemispheric common market with open trade and open borders so that I just got that's the question plays quite everybody yeah and Christmas was constantly telling the crowd to be quiet of the receipt of a work that hard to be sure there was there was quiet, the said the start of the bay.

They promised her to do and so on.

But that was brought up because Donald Trump said how you can use said you stood for open borders and here's Chris Wallace when everyone after aggressively with a how would she was state paid for the speech and then the Clinton foundation came up. I think Donald Trump could've done a better job of it of attacking the, the nature with the Clinton foundation is done with money that's come in and challenging something on 90% goes to help others, etc. but he made. He has some real singers. He made some strong points, so let's listen to this next stance could number five light. This is that this is an open discussion about a specific question what the paper replied you want about a lot of very good work and its rise and its nomination.

I know it's a common enterprise in Saudi Arabia giving $25 million guitar. All of these countries you talk about women and women's rights. So these are people that push gaze off business of buildings. These are people that kill women and treat women horribly and yet you take their money, so I'd like to ask you right now. Why don't you give back the money that you've taken from certain countries that treat certain groups of people so horribly when you get back the money I think would be a great gesture rule.

Yet, by the way, that is a great question. Which country was it which Muslim country gave million dollars to can foundation Bill Clinton's birthday and an inner Jesus is where your your treasuries.

Your heart will be also in secular terms, you say, follow the money. So that Tim knew it was it was a real singer and Hillary Clinton did not even respond.

Should he respond as it is that she she just ignored it complete. What can you say to that is, it was George Bush. He had a great relationship with the Saudi's and all that. Still, a friend of Israel. Hey, ask all the questions I think it's fair to ask the question on the table thoroughly Jewish Thursday will be back with your phone calls file in the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get into the minor fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown back if you have any Jewish related question of any kind. Any Jewish related question of any kind give me a call could be Hebrew language. It could be Jewish customs and traditions. It could be the nation of Israel.

Today messianic prophecy Jewish back in the New Testament is Jewish related to cost 866-34-TRUTH crafts just I just I just saw a post comment on our YouTube channel and owes some social justice they wish to express this is great LOL you are an idiot you copies of a PhD, though that would social justice, acclaim, reverse racism, you are clueless and Bussell why the blank don't use your PC learns of the were ready have women's colleges in which future PhD out of a Viking cereal box from on your blanking joke on everyone you have a PhD a degree in theology you are blanking jokes.

That's a classic lot of the light God bless that person by bringing them to repentance and salvation. I get the stuff all the time. I don't see most of it but I just happened to see it. So yeah, it was the nation of Qatar which otherwise cookie-cutter now. I still was Qatar but according to newly released WikiLeaks email Bill Clinton, the husband of then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton received a birthday present for the Islamic country of Qatar or Cutter in 2011 of $1 million according to Army decide the director foreign policy for the Clinton foundation of Qatar would like to see when James was going to clean WDC for five minutes in New York City to present $1 million check.

The cutter promised for his birthday in 2011. They tell you what if you if you know anybody and in Qatar. Tell you what you donated million dollars to our ministry.

I cannot, I'll give you more than five minutes face-to-face how do you like that taillight out. I even take into real nice salad bar. We get a healthy salad bar in the Bible violate any of your Islamic food principles yeah my dime on my dime will let you sit and watch radio broadcast, and by all means mean we can talk about the truth about God. If you like. Sure, interact yeah you more five minutes. We think that anyway. Does that mean that there is complicity with the Muslim world.

What is it mean again fair question was raised in my mind by Donald Trump and there's all kinds of illicit there all kinds of illicit questions when it comes to the Clinton foundation at and without doubt these things need to be brought to the surface of the connection between that motility. Clinton Secretary of State absolutely, 866-34-TRUTH. Let's go to Loretta in Huntersville. Welcome to light a fire ran program.

I learned so much and I have a question I left.

I let them know I live in a Jewish neighborhood try out but blanket and watch the debate debate and I have a question which bothered me for a while. I would like to know when the prophet and it truly people who love God well when they passed away. Thank they'll dictate to this threat to first thank you for your very kind words and for your love for Israel and the Jewish people. Much appreciated and I'm sure the Lord smiles on on your love for for especially elderly Jews and and those in real need. As for those who died the righteous, who died before the coming of Jesus. There are really a couple different explanations and and I don't think we can be totally dogmatic. One is that they they went immediately into the presence of God in heaven as as believers would today but some would say what how could that be because Jesus had not yet cleansed the holy places Jesus had not yet opened the way by dying for our sins, and it is even mentioned a with his blood cleansing that the heavenly tabernacle that it obviously been polluted by the fall of Satan and things like that so others would say about young lodges is taken off and it's in a charter fired, and in the whirlwind went really go so some believe that there are scriptures that would indicate when a righteous person died in the Old Testament they like us went immediately into the presence of God.

Others would say no on a look at Luke 16 and and yet you have Abraham's bosom where the righteous would go at and they were awaiting the redemption and then you have across from that with this gulf between the suffering wicked people who have also died and some would argue that that's what happened to them. They went to this place for the righteous called Abraham's bosom or or that was how spoken metaphorically, and they were awaiting the coming of the Messiah, and when he came and died and rose. He open the way for them to ascend to heaven with him there's there's no Scripture that explicitly states that when some people quote Ephesians 4, he led captivity captive.

That's not what it means that speaking of demonic powers that that were led captive in his train of of of victory. Another view would be that they are asleep until the final resurrection of this is a minority view but some Christians believe that when you die is you actually are in a state of sleep you are not conscious and the first thing you know is you open your eyes you been resurrected and you're with the Lord. So, on either account. The first thing someone would know they close their eyes and now they open their eyes in there with the Lord in the resurrected. So the first two views would be the more common 1A.

Upon death, the righteous and the Old Testament immediately went to the presence of God in heaven. Just as we do be the way, was not yet opened, so they were kind of in a holding place until Jesus came and died and rose and then they were brought to heaven and see the minority view that they like other believers who have died since the cross or in the state of of unconsciousness sleep until Jesus returns. At which point they'll be resurrected and instantly in the presence of God. For me it's between one and two.

I just can't be dogmatic about it and answered my God for the wonderful work. Dr. Brown was a Saturday night goodbye goodbye your kindness is is a blessing ready to me. Thank you so much, 86634 of its go to Los Angeles and welcome to light a fire. Thank you Dr. Brown for taking my call.

I have a question about second Chronicles 713 and 14 and as you know it the promise that God made in answer to Solomon's prayer after the dedication of the temple in Jerusalem and he said to Solomon that when he shut up. They haven't so that there would be no rain or command of the Locust to devour the land first contentment among his people.

If it had my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their span and heal their land. And my question is can we who are believers in the United States confidently think of this verse as relating to spiritual restoration of our land. I love the way you asked the question and we all week. We also included, as if it's a direct promise to America or whatever nation we live in. And it's it's not because it was given to Israel, which was a theocracy. Israel was the people of God. That was the land that God had given them and they were responsible to keep God's commandments in a unique covenantal way. If you said that to America as a whole. Today or to China as a whole.

Today or Mexico or Albania if my people are called by my name, what does that apply to Albania is all of Albania. The people of God and his Albania call by same, obviously not. However, there is no question that there is application because we as believers are called to be the salt and the life and without doubt, and if we humbled ourselves as a church throughout America.

If if all of us who truly knew the Lord humbled ourselves in fasting and prayer, and turning away from sin and pleading with God for mercy. Not only would it have a massive spiritual effect on our nation.

It would have a massive effect on every other aspect of our nation on our social life in our cultural life in our finances and security and and.

And God might be history.

Chastising, but it would bring absolute spiritual restoration I would revolutionize America. So this would be our role within the nation as intercessors as salt and light because there are so many tens of millions of thank you.

Excellent question number cleansing by the Expo line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown your voice and more cultural and spiritual revolution.

Here again is Dr. Michael Brown and 884 that is never call any Jewish related question that you have any kind.

My joy to answer that for you before I go back to the phones. Another great comment posted on YouTube. Dr. Brown is a typical Pharisee apologist to glories in his fleshly birth and brags about his relationship to the people who killed Jesus Christ. Dr. Brown is not a true follower of spiritual Israel, but as of Jerusalem, the bloodiest city that persecuted and killed Jesus Christ and was enslave the world with their antichrist hate filled traditions of the elders and I mean I laugh because it's an attack on me, but it's sad that people can be that blind people can be. That deceived and think they are speaking for God and doing God's work a minute for the personal judgments aside units. Whatever this water of the ducks back. I just feel bad for the guy for being in such error, but I could to complete demolish everything same with fact and reality in and history and truth. It's a sad sad to see that real sad.

Anyway that's that's why we do what we do to keep informing and edifying and helping set the record straight and shine light and dark places 866-34-TRUTH of his girlfriend, Nick and Alberta, Canada hate. How's the weather in Alberta Oakwood really yelled American where I'm on broadcasting from North Carolina course rollover the nation are broadcast right now from North Carolina as the high 70s today in the it was a not no snow quite yet, but I thought there might be a little cooler up north, the common thread are greater is one of a document on your deck when a girl or a and dear your man. I really look up to your testimony the way you devote your whole life or character personality, your man hook up to it. I don't ever let go, all you and thank you for what you you're very lucky I thanks for the good Lord and and I assure you those comments just adds fuel to my fire to honor the Lord and do what's right and help people out of their out of their deception with the thank you for sharing that this meaningful to me. Michael 52 quickly so that the Messiah you will be born in Bethlehem. That's what we should look for him coming and I know that the Lubavitcher about a Jewish movement that some of them believe that therapy Schneerson is the Messiah and that he's been in fact born in the Soviet Union or Ukraine produce pickle buildup out of Calcutta they reconcile micro box you would make Dr. and all about you Messiah okay so the two separate questions of the, the first one is, is this how did they say that someone who was born in in Eastern Europe and Russia that that person could be the Messiah. How have they look for other potential candidates to be the Messiah. Over the centuries, you have not been born in Bethlehem. They would read the text as saying that the the Messiah's origins are in Bethlehem because it goes back to David, who was born there so that's that's how it would be read. It is read to you from all let's see the new Jewish publication Society version so call the new Jewish version of the Tanakh and you all Bethlehem of front which is verse one there consisted difference in the number in your bath of effort least among the clans of Judah from you one shall come forth to rule Israel from the one whose origins from all information times so they would just read it in terms of it goes all the way back to David, who came from Bethlehem of that's that's how they would read it and it's it's certainly possible to read the text in that way you can argue that the safer mold from ancient times by Mike his day thinking of David say that was just a few hundred years before. That certainly wouldn't qualify as older ancient times, let alone from from everlasting of some of want to translate it like that but when you have the dialogue in Matthew the second chapter and the Magi requiring you where she's pointing the Jews. They know it's gonna happen Bethlehem that was obviously a very natural reading of the text and and there one that one that would make sense from the Hebrew and from Jewish tradition as as well.

Okay so and by the way, the Targum, which is the Aramaic translation/paraphrase of the Hebrew Scriptures. It it indicates that that the Messiah comes forth from there. So, again, that doesn't absolutely say that is born there but certainly would point strongly in that direction. As for the Lubavitcher precedent. Let me just help my listeners for a quick moment. This is a very fine words you mentioned about also a very different acetic groups. These are ultra-Orthodox Jews whose particular sects, a center around a leader there grand rabbi called the gravity the majority of them have a living leader in this case with the Lubavitcher's there grand rabbi died in 1994 the age of 92 Menachem Mendel Schneerson with their movements at that point, believing that he was the Messiah hailing him as the Messiah. Now Lubavitcher is just the city. In Russia, from whence they they come there the original leader several generations earlier and and the seventh in the line of these rabbis hailed from their relish Schneerson Solomon and or or and subsequently the movement came from there and they held back to him specifically so in any case, at the time of his death.

You could say that the movement basically was hailing him as Messiah. They had a Meshach now hot lime you could call to get updates and something happened. They wore these these pagers around the world awaiting just so they could be notified. He's he's he's risen because he had a terrible stroke and was incapacitated, and then the movement split once he died medicine okay wasn't the Messiah.

He was the potential Messiah in traditional Judaism there is a belief that every generation has a potential Messiah. And if that the Jewish people are worthy than that person will be revealed as the Messiah, so they said he he fulfilled the initial qualifications given by my mother needs and and if he was recognizes Messiah the Jewish people were that he will fulfill the rest, but he didn't so he was a potential Messiah but not the actual Messiah the. The fact is that the movement split over that and the ones that took over the headquarters in Brooklyn.

770 Eastern Pkwy. in Brooklyn still believe he is the Messiah. They say in their prayers along with King Messiah and they believe that he spiritually risen that his physical death was just a test for them around the world. If you go to Israel. You see these giant posters with this picture saying you know, Blessed is the King Messiah but the mainstream leadership of the movement says no he was not the Messiah.

He was potential Messiah, but he was not the Messiah and that being said there was, you still hail him as Messiah will say Nick that secretly the others believe it.

And one told me this know you don't say is the Messiah, but when the Messiah comes.

We think it's gonna be somebody like him. Yes, so that's the best answer officially only minority. Still have as Messiah, but secretly to others believe that hey friends, this is Michael Brown I would encourage you to join our support team today become a torchbearer. One of our regular monthly support as it enables us to broadcast a lot of fire in America and around the world and all.

Every month we sold back into any many different ways join our team become a torture asked Brown a SK crown.org, click on donate. It's the line of fire with your host activist, author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution get into the line of fire now by calling 664 through here again is Dr. Michael Brown welcome welcome to early Jewish Thursday yellow in the midst of the celebration of Tabernacles read Zechariah 12 1314 and notice this notice. This Zechariah 12 return to the Lord.

Zechariah 13 atonement for Israel. Zechariah 14 the nation's coming survivors of the nations that attacked Jerusalem to Jerusalem to worship the Lord during Sukkoth, the feast of Tabernacles was a Telus tells us that Sukkoth Tabernacles also points to that season of the ingathering of the nations. If you read Deuteronomy 29 careful you see on the first day of the seven days of the feast of Tabernacles that 13 bowls were offered in the next day, 12 and 11 but final day. The numbers reduce just one.

Each day when you add them up. What is it come to 70 was 70 simplified in the Bible and rabbinic literature the nations.

That's why the rabbis said this is the time to pray for rain for the nations. Then, of course, because this was a time praying for rain and is an agricultural holiday is as major holidays in Israel's history tie-in with major agricultural seasons as well.

So what happens this is now a time when you have the water drawing ceremony is reflected in John VII chapter and the priest would carry these large drawers of water and be carried the procession from the temple and and Scripture be read Ezekiel 47 Zechariah 14 of this river that would flow through the throne of God.

This life-giving river and and and this there was an ace day added to the celebration and what is Yeshua do as Jesus to John. Seven he gets up and says that he wants thirsty, let them come to me and drank. I am the real water of life and out of your belly will flow rivers of living water. The Holy Spirit as amazing as I that's wonderful that some of the background to these passages are right I am going to go to the phones momentarily.

866-34-TRUTH, but I want to clarify something from a caller of the Colby in the first hour and I apologize. I could not put my finger on a verse that he was looking for. I I answered his question partially and embarrassed to say that I just forgot where the verse was a new assessment. Where is it that he said he thought.

Deuteronomy 30 of this Deuteronomy 31.

I apologize now you can expect me to know everything or anybody deny anything, but this is just a slips of the months I apologize he was asking when the Torah commanded that the that the load be read the Turabi rate every seven years. How come that's that's not done, and isolate its rent on a yearly basis now and that's the real issue and other with this was that this was to ensure it was read at least every seven years, but it was Deuteronomy 31 nine Moses wrote down this teaching such a rock and give it to the priests, sons of Levi who carried the ark of the Lord's covenant, and to all the elders of Israel and Moses instructed them as follows every seventh year year's information at the feast of booths, so will ring now Tabernacles when all Israel comes to appear before the Lord your God in the place you will choose you shall read this teaching allow the presence of all Israel, of course.

What I failed to say was that it is at this time of the year that that this cycle of reading through the entire Torah culminates, and there are many Jews who will now at the end of Tabernacles stay up all night studying the law and and and it is it is a custom and and rejoicing in the law of God. But anyway, this fails it to find that scripture for a so my apologies for not having that I will be right back to this creature because 866-3487 80 the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get into the line of fire now by calling 866. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown everything I see as no respect for this person. Well, that's because he rather have a puppet as president today.

It's pretty clear it's pretty clear you want it met the Russians in front of last night's presidential debate. Yes, a very very serious issue, but some some of the battery.

You have to smile at as well.

866-34-TRUTH.

If you ever heard the term's meaning that Sarasin had no idea what it was that's that's the eighth day eighth day of Sukkoth. It is an additional day beyond the seven days of the biblical calendar and this is also called a simple talk to raw or in clinical pronunciation symptoms, Torah, and this is a time of of celebrating the completion of the reading of the Torah and it's time again when my many religious Jews will stay up all night reading the Torah and study the Torah and that would tie in with commanded Deuteronomy chapter 31, 8663 freight 784 by the way that they were discussing Vladimir Putin his relationship to the United States dates we go to Tracy in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Thank you for calling the line of fire. Dr. Brown back on the question of maybe asking about where the old believer on that yet. I was in the in the last half-hour yes my Jan who are not.

I like the happened to them when they die. Yes, the first thing I would say is there is not the same emphasis on this in in Judaism as there is among followers of Jesus sets the first thing if you are a fairly secular Jew liberal Jew, which would be reform to you probably think that this life is all there is. You leave a legacy behind, but many secular Jews do not have a strong hope in the resurrection. Maybe they believe it.

Maybe they affirm it mentally. But if you were at a service funeral service for liberal or secular Jew you would not find a hope of an afterlife that was real real thing like you find for a follower of Jesus, and said I know that I know that I know that that my loved ones with the Lord will give us each other again as as far as the traditional Jew of a religious Jew. They they would put a greater emphasis on the, the resurrection of the dead, as opposed to the immediate states of the dead and after death but a traditional Jew would believe that since none of us are perfectly righteous. There were still sins that we have to pay for.

On some level we leave this world and that you don't want to compare it to Catholic purgatory in an exact way, but the concepts are not totally different, so a Jewish person traditional Jew would believe that upon death. They would go to a place of some level of suffering and punishment to pay for their sins that haven't been paid for in this world, but it would be for a maximum of 11 months 12 would be the theoretical maximum because people are not that wicked than 11 months and then after that going into the presence of God. But that's that's not look forward to the way a follower of Jesus was sent to be with the Lord. P together forever. The ultimate thing.

They're looking forward to is is a renewed world and the resurrection of the dead, and in that state veto a studying the law of God and keeping the law of God forever, you know, that would be that the great emphasis that would be there and for traditional Jew. It's important to have immediate family members remembering their death and on a daily basis.

Going to the synagogue and and participating in the daily prayers and claimants called the mourners caught if this is not a prayer for the dead. It is even mentioned the dead. It's a prayer extolling God. Some of the themes of it can be found in in the Lord's prayer, and in Matthew chapter 6 in Luke chapter 11 parallel themes. A few of them are found there. It's it's a much longer prayer. In Judaism, but again it is is pray for the ultimate redemption and extolling God in his majesty and in his might, but it's believe that that will help the person in the world to come. If someone is praying for them in this world so those with those would be the main beliefs in terms of life after death in traditional Judaism and implement various give you want one other illustration that that might help help you understand the concept that rabbinic tradition tells the story of of a saintly rabbi who dies and is in the presence of God, and he looks down on the earth, and he sees that there are handful of people at his funeral just a handful and there's another funeral taking place of one of the most wicked men of of that day at terrible notorious center and he's got a giant turn out his funeral and the rabbi questions God. How can this be right in God's answer to him as well. Jew remember that one wrong thing you did you know we were compassionate to a beggar that one sin you commit it you remember what this this is your punishment that only a handful of people come to your funeral and valuing get to enjoy that the rewards of your righteous life forever and ever. As as for the other guy one time he was compassionate and did a good saying and his reward for that is got a great turnout is funeral, but forever he's going to suffer the consequences of a sense of their there is this kind of your reward thing that's built into it a little bit more. Thank you, thank you for asking. Much appreciated. 86634 all right, let me take you to the liberty University October 14 Dinesh Desousa spoke to the largest regular convocation of young people in the country. Liberty University's convocation was a thoughtful Christian to do this November at the polls.

A JJ. Let's start with click number 12 I got a couple clips here see if I've got time to play both of them for you as we focus again for moment on the presidential elections. How do you handle the situation with Hillary when her opponent has its own flaws. What you do what you do. You are kind of in the position of the abolitionists of the 19th century who were the only people who are pure hearted about slavery abolitionist believed that slavery was inherently evil and should be stopped now and the abolitionists. Even today are like lamps of beacons of moral inspiration but is also true when we look back at the abolitionists politically or completely ineffective abolitionist by themselves could accomplish nothing and did accomplish nothing.

Why because being principled, they found no Pat.

They had no path that leads not initially to convert the principles into practice. Their intentions were for your but their activities were worthless. Very interesting and if we can continuously pick a time to get the said let's go to click number 13 Dinesh Desousa slavery. What happened was I did not buy the abolitionists. It was ended by the Republican Party. It was when the Republican Party won the election of 1860, a coalition that included abolitionists but was not let my lime Abraham Lincoln throughout his life denied that he was abolitionist.

His position wasn't no slavery but I will stopped slavery from expanding the extension of slavery to the point I want to make is that when we think about morality.

There are intentions, and there are consequences and quite honestly, morality involves both of the problem with having your intentions and riding a moral high horse about them is that those of your intentions can actually produce terrible consequences, and so for example if someone goes all right. I normally would vote for a Republican but on principle, I'm going to stay home in November. I want to say to such a person you are actually casting your vote for Hillary Clinton. You're doing right prayerfully consider what you should be doing in this election for me. I can say I'm going to vote for the Republican platform. Despite my reservations for the Republican candidate that is something I could do in conscience. I'll share more about that in the days to come. All right, 86634878841 to get to more of your calls on this 30 Jewish Thursday. They were also discussing presidential elections all and I don't want to forget telling you now city of the great controversy over Jerusalem powerful document. The line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown, one of every eight voter registrations in the US is no longer valid. All significantly inaccurate. More than 1.8 million dead people are listed as voters so you can use that name. Approximately 2.75 million people to three quarter million people are registered in more than one state. Fascinating. That's from Fox news could be. The elections are rigged was Democratic Party resisted so many reforms that would clean these things up considerably in the broadcast. I believe Donald Trump should have said this of course what is asked by Chris Wallace. Of course I would accept the results of the elections. Even if I lose was unexpected but of course all of their fair legal, but if illegal things are taking place. Of course another protestant wouldn't you don't the American people deserve the American people voted one way and election was illegally stolen from them don't. I need to stand for the American people stand for justice and staffer was right to be a powerful answer.

And who could argue with it critical. Number six will play this and undergo your calls.

This is Hillary Clinton on the plain speaking to reporters responding to the idea of conspiracy theories and the like can't deal with everyone. Conspiracy theories have something to eat and that's the end of the press conference hey look, there seems to be video evidence because it which are ready to Democratic operatives have stepped down. There seems to be video evidence of actual voter fraud being planned or strategized and and and one of the key men involved in this is been to the White House with 350 something times in the Obama presidency, and in one of allegedly in touch with a clean campaign daily, so in any case, this, this had has to do with that there is incitement going on and and things like that in instances where Hillary Clinton's responding to.

But I tell you truth Donald Trump's politically correct response last night and in my view, not the wisest response we could. He could have he could have stirred the waters, but in a way that when the potentially hurt them as much is made on the pelting him more discussion will focus on this in the reveler bed to get interesting.

The way these things works is it not 866-34-TRUTH. Let's go to Charlotte, North Carolina Keith, welcome to the line of fire around her are you doing well. Thank you. Our salon to the question I have for you.

What time of the argument from don't know for sure okay now my second question I have is nowhere in the Bible. Is it mentioned in the Star of David and I'm having kinda confused with that because I'm looking at a most right now. 526 and is there right here but you have born of the tabernacle of your Moloch in your trunk, your image of the start of your God, which you made it for yourself for the start David off the start. David has nothing to do with with Amos five it's it's a great question and thank you for asking it and tying it in. There's all types of of astral imagery and in various imagery associated with idols and things like that but there is in the receiving debate about how to how to translate that specifically. But know this, this has no reference to the Star of David whatsoever started. David has nothing to do with worship of the deity Star of David is a symbol that was used by various groups through the centuries it was it was used by good guys and bad guys. It was it was used by Jewish people for for positive associations and it was used by other groups for superstitious reasons, and things like that. You know were all familiar with the swastika, but it's actually Hindu. The currently logical amount regarding years before Hitler either had it right.

Right. This is swastika. It was just a Hindu symbol have good good luck and fortune. And that was take their housing or actually read before, like 490 angle, bring it up with a really neat circle of life. But I think it's right. If you talk if you talk to hinder an Indian bill tell you it's a symbol of good luck fortune. But yet the origins that's what what I'm saying is we associate with Nazism.

But the origins of course are much more ancient preferred same with the Star of David. It's been used by different groups of years but has nothing to do with with Yahweh or the worship of God specifically said or thought I was a comet Star of David is David's not Yahweh is Star of David know it's it's it's it's represented the people of Israel and their his ability like a baby it would reveal the Bible No, because it is not a know we don't actually believe that this goes back to David right it's that that is a symbol having to do with the people of Israel. I appreciate your question and maybe there are some Jews who believe it does go back to David, but certainly we have no record of it. We have no record of it being used in that in that ancient away, but I Keith Kiger represents that the Jewish people it represents the history of Israel is not out of the behind symbol is not a divine symbol okay good and abandoned Concordia University circus, no I didn't say that knowledge.

I try to be gracious was because that you cancel words in a method and set it it's it's a positive symbol.

Judaism is nothing to do with divine worship or symbol related to that, and I can assure you it is nothing to do with Amos chapter 5, verse 26 and by the way, if you will just take any reference to swastika. You see it's from a Sanskrit as both agree on many good fortune or well-being is as of said port remake right thank you, do I have time. All right, let's try real quick were very short on time.
