I'm going to speak to Chris Doyle about a very important initiative.

He's taken standing up to the bullies that will be about 1/2 hour from now. I have a specific mandate from the Lord to get involved with certain issues, God laid on my heart over a dozen years ago to get involved in standing against LGBT activists about the same time reaching out to those who identify as gay and lesbian so I've had a specific calling and mandate from the Lord to do it but I can give you a more simple answer why am I involved in the culture wars because I live in this world because I live in the midst of this culture because there is water coming into our boat and we need to bail the water and shore up the boat. It's that simple, it's because there's a fire so the firemen come to put the fire out, and then work to prevent fires. It's that simple. I asked a friend of mine who's sacrificed a lot to stand for righteousness and is one of the most hated man in the country when it comes to exposing aspects of LGBT activism and I asked want to stop man want to stop. I mean, this is it is additional funding for your battered and attacked for all the time. Once you stop a set I'll stop when they stop what happens when issues come up in your local Boy Scout troops and your kids are in the Boy Scout.

What happens when things happen in school and you could come home from school. What happens when you're confronted with issues in your place of business and on and on it goes.

These are unavoidable issues.

I had a tough Christian attorney on the air with me yesterday, a man who I believe by nature is full of hope and optimism that he gave a very sobering word. He said that it could well be in days to come, that the government will tell Christian schools and home schooling parents what you can and can't teach yeah and and that Christian school say with with law programs and law schools to universities that they can be told by the government.

We don't recognize your law degrees. You can go to be a lawyer then you can practice your side sounds crazy friends mentor.

None of this is far-fetched. There been attempts to do these very things in other countries are ready we can avoid the cultural to love God, love our neighbor can make you finally come back here on the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown. So let's just listen to this and I am speaking to you about some very specific, this segment of the show. Why is it that we don't just avoid the culture wars and my answer is because we live in this world we live in this world and these things are unavoidable.

The question is how we deal with them.

Girl Scouts would be, but we have Girl Scouts without Girl Scouts for many years, you say okay what's this got to do with culture wars.

Really simple. There is a push now and increasing push to accept children.

However, they identified so a 14-year-old girl identifies as a boy goes with the Boy Scouts for too little boy who identifies with the girl goes with the Girl Scouts and this is official policy recent and Girl Scouts. For example been very active and in other ways that lean strongly left major Catholic organizations pulling out of work with the Girl Scouts. For this reason you don't represent our values anymore. You represent things that are contrary to our values ultimate religious indoctrination which are uncertain moral values so you get your kid in the Boy Scouts. Now you have maybe an openly gay scout leader how you feel about that in the Lord, you have to interact. This is that this is a world in which we live.

All right to pull out and reach out you find common ground, you have certain parameters you have to respond because we live in this world you have you have an issue, say with your school. The kid comes home from school and maybe there in middle school. Are you talking private yeah just the three of us okay mom that I'm gay and I've got a girlfriend and I want you to know it and I believe God is fine with all we do well honey that's great, thanks for telling us and hope you have a nice life that that's it know you're you're involved you're involved you are you you are you are in a situation where you have no choice but to be involved that your kid, let's say you are committed followers of Jesus you believe the Scriptures how do you respond to know what she's going through. You know how to react to her or not react but respond.

Can you bring grace and truth together whether she says I I am attracted to the same sex but I don't like it.

This is friends like it or not, is the world in which we live in. These things are unavoidable were eager to be equipped or unequipped really to be forewarned and ready and full of love and full of truth or knocking to be ready when I can be forewarned in these things are going to catch us offguard and they catch up and catch us off guard for years and years and years now. You have to fight against that, because complacency to use terms not for the body but just for morality and for spiritual alertness, complacency leads to apathy yes leads to atrophy in the body so here's what happens now that we must fight against that and when you fight against that there is resistance within that is how you grow. It is the exact same thing spiritually friends, just as it is in the body.

It is the same way. Spiritually, that we must resist the tendency to be complacent. Complacency leads to atrophy. We must fight against that and be vigilant and understand that there are issues we cannot avoid look, there are schools that are faces schools in Canada. There was a move a few years back I believe in Ontario that if you're a homeschooling parent you could not teach your kids what the Bible said about homosexual practice because it was against what Canada said about manner to women" marrying and things like that and in your own time. His family could tell that this is with Dr. homeschooling time. Followers of Jesus in America multiplied tens of millions of people for the numbers at different places on the evangelicals, born-again believers in general and things like that. But is it 78 million people. You know what whatever number it's it's it's a high number.

Okay, it's a high number so where will we go and how do we live it yellow we justly need to retreat okay where we retreat what places we open up populated and then how you live and be sustained and on and it is it is completely preposterous. It's one thing for individuals and I can clear my head.

I gotta get out of here for you go on a retreat. We have a real place where people can go and spend a few days in imbecilic and maybe even break away from life and and take off a few weeks or longer something like that at all. Okay, but you will just all retreat and hang on. When I called to retreat when I called to retreat were called to go into all the world and make disciples use it will that's wrong to concentrate on.

I will get involved in the cultural force you're missing the point because if you're a disciple you're involved because now you're a follower of Jesus, and someone comes your place of business and asked you to do something you can't do in good conscience, and you politely decline the business as you have every right to do next year in court and the Steve lost her business and annexing you being reviled nationally during the culture wars like it or not.

In fact, a good service that that and you know what it just all that not only did they say that our work doesn't is ineffective, but they call it torture in and people that are that are basically abusing children and so we just that I'm not isn't enough or not, were no longer going to allow these people. This was called to be a light to the world. We are under a new and better covenant and in this covenant, our sins are forgiven. In this covenant, God says I've washed away your sins I remember them no more. In this covenant, God becomes our father. We address the father the same way Jesus did call him Abba right it brings intimacy and it brings us into a relationship with God that the Sinai covenant couldn't because of human failings and in this new covenant because laws are written on our hearts, and in this new covenant there be no need to teach others in terms of the Lord, because everyone will know the Lord.

We are in a transition age, the Messiah has a ready come and begun his mission. He will not complete his mission until he returns.

He has brought us into the benefits of the new covenant, but we are still in this age and in this world and therefore we see it partly realized as some scholars have called it. It is realized eschatology put in simple terms it is already not yet. We have already experienced the new covenant benefits but not yet experienced all of them. We are ready born from above and have eternal life and are seated in heavenly places that we live in this world we are ready have the Holy Spirit is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance, but was still in a battle of sin and the devil. We have been spiritually resurrected but not physically resurrected and on and on. The list goes already and not yet. It is just the same as when God brought the children of Israel out of Babylon. When you read the prophets. They spoke of it is a glorious return even a new creation of a new Exodus, but was not that the exiles did return, and they did rebuild the temple, and God did move, but not with the expected number and the expected glory, the Messiah did come same power, the Messiah did come when he was supposed to come. He did bring forgiveness of our sins, he did establish a new covenant, but not with the expected glory and number why because it is ongoing. This message is not going to the whole world and then at the end of the age with Israel fully comes under the new covenant will see this fully realized. Right now it's the transition age. This was instituted and we do walk in it for sure. To a certain level what I mean will have your sins been forgiven yeah you know God as father yeah are you under the threat of the condonation of the law hangover.

I mean they have told him he needs to repent of sin.

They have told him he needs to know the Lord. He's never told us to stop these never pushed just the way we have access to him. So in that respect, I believe God is working in his life. Do I see any evidence of him being born again.

Do I see him acting more presidentially and in ways our help now do I see him potentially compromising with Democrats now on on the spending bill that for now seems to to include funding for Planned Parenthood. I mean that that concerns were there lots of things about presence of that concern me but I did vote for him. After much thought us one strong reason being I was voting against Hillary Clinton and a radical pro-abortion and anti-religious liberty and pro-LGBT activism.

That's one thing and with the hope that on certain really, really important issues having to do with religious freedoms having to do with appointing pro-life justices to the Supreme Court to do with national security and confronting radical Islam that he would do the right thing in that regard.

But I also knew it could be a disaster.

We have all kinds of problems. So Lisa I think that sometimes we just make everything yes or no black or white and and good or evil without recognizing this a whole other mixture and just like with Pres. Obama and President Bush before now the Pres. Trump. They're not entirely good there not entirely evil, and you might like more of one Pres. and less of another, but if it's one we look at Donald Trump.

Like the Savior of the church are zero or the good leader you know that the Christians have been waiting for then. That seems completely bogus and makes us look bad and makes the gospel back when we say hey we know is flawed. Plenty of flaws and God sometimes raises up surprising people, but we see a lot of good cause and he did do exactly as he promised nominating just to score such ill pro-life justice. That was one of the for some. The only reason they voted for him was the Supreme Court and certain other things. He has kept his word and others. We shall see in others.

We have the problem of drug trafficking and the problem of criminals coming and then plenty of Mexicans and others from Latin America who have lived in our country many years in the fine citizens and are contributing to our society and in many, many good ways in our society, our American society as a nation of immigrants so we need to have a heart of compassion.

At the same time we need to make sure that we have secure borders and and better vetting of terrorists and things like that so unfortunately Mario what's happened is that the political rhetoric has got so supercharged that we forgotten about humanitarian needs in certain ways, and we just wanted make these radical proposals on one side of the other side one side, not think about security the other side, not thinking about compassion so much and what I've proposed is this let the government major unsecured notes. Make sure that you take care of securing borders. Make sure that you do a good job keeping the bad guys out with the church major on compassion, let let the church focus on helping the poor, helping the needy sponsoring the immigrants getting needy people into our country. What can we do to help those in legitimate need and have a heart for for the suffering and hurting people for whom America remains a great refuge and what can we do to do this in a secure way to keep the bad guys out so that's the challenge we have, and if the government does a good job of security keeps the bad guys out with the church work with the government and work independently to help those in need and focus on that, then I think we can get the job done.

There always could be refugees are always good to be poor but we gotta be careful. You're right with our rhetoric with our attitude. Those that a Republican voted conservative. They have to make sure they maintain God's heart for the refugee while keeping the terrorist out. That's the balance that we have to strike that make sense and I just went out one more thing valley along another another.
