The fact that you are at the very center of the will of God, it does not mean that you will never face problems. It does not mean that you will never face difficulties. The very fact that you are at the very center of the will of God does not mean that you will never experience temptation.

I'll be worried if you don't. Welcome to Leading the Way with pastor and the author of more than 50 books, Dr. Michael Yusef. As you seek to live for and serve God, you will inevitably be tempted to compromise.

It may not be a huge moral failure. It could be a small step that, after time, draws you away from living close and clean with the Savior. Regardless of the situation or temptation, your relationship to God must come first. Even those in the Bible noted as people of great faith, like Abraham, struggle to remain faithful. Today on Leading the Way, Dr. Michael Yusef continues his series called Abraham, Journey of Faith, with a dive into faithfully seeking and staying in God's will. Man's natural way of dealing with sin is to cover it up and hide it, while God's way of dealing with it is confessing it and repenting of it. Even Abraham, God's friend, when he turned to political expedience, he ended up not only lying but covering up his lie. You know, in Australia, the public is extremely skeptical of politicians, as my Australian compatriots would testify to that. We're getting that way, but it's like nothing you have experienced.
