This is the Truth Network. Kingdom Pursuits, where you hear from ordinary people instilled with an extraordinary passion. Together we explore the stories of men and women who take what they love and let God turn their passion into kingdom pursuits.
Now, live from the Truth Booth, your host, Robbie Dilmore. Good morning. Welcome to Kingdom Pursuits. I am not Robbie Dillmore. I'm a holdover from the last hour, Jerry Mathis from Ray's Body Shop and Wrecker Service, Christian Body Shop guy.
Robbie is on a retreat with his church this weekend, so we just pray that everything is going well for him, and I'm sure it is. But in the studio, I have Wade Arnold, and I am looking forward to discussing a little bit of couple stuff and maybe even a little more of the stuff. We just never know where it's going to go. And on the other side of the glass, of course, it's always a better day for me at Truth Broadcasting when Nick is on the other side.
So I'm grateful for that. This morning, also at around 10, 11:15, Keita Koloff is on a call in. I'm going to talk a little bit about a couple of events that he has coming up at Pinedale Christian Church. One is on a Tuesday night, September 1st, Step Into the Ring. men's event with Nikita Koloff and it'll be a Dinner provided luncheon or dinner with Nikita Koloff at men in the area.
It is a men's event. I encourage you to go to pinedale.church. And register because we do want you to RSVP it because we are providing food, or Pine Dale is providing food, and we don't want to run out of food because if we run out of food, people will be angry enough they want to wrestle with Nikita, and we don't want that to happen. Also, on Wednesday night of that week, the following night, September 2nd, Nikita will be speaking to the whole church in the main sanctuary.
So, if you're in the area, come and join us. Pinedale Christian Church on Peters Creek Parkway. Also coming up with Wade in front of me, coming up in September the 7th, maybe? 9th. On Wednesday nights, uh Wade will be doing a series A marriage series, and I'll get you to speak about that a little bit because if you're in the area and About to get married.
Been married, divorced. I think this. Touches everybody's basis. And Wade, I'm gonna let you introduce yourself. But Wade is a psychologist, a life coach, an ordained minister.
I mean, he checks all the boxes for knowing how to make a marriage work. Is that right? That's well, I hope so. Yeah, that's what I've dedicated my life to.
So, yeah. Great to be here. Great to talk with Nick before we get him on air and Jerry, as always. Yeah, I'm excited about what we've going what I've got going on with Pinedale coming up in the month of September. It's going to be a six-week series called Creating a Covenant Marriage.
And we're going to get people rolling on Uh not just One of the things that I say about it, it's not just pray more together or go to more dates. It's about learning the underlying patterns of your relationship.
So when you learn the patterns, you can impact every area of your marriage.
So I'm really excited about being able to share that with the Pinedale folks and people all around the triad. Yeah, and again it's Give me times and so it'll be six weeks beginning September the 9th at 7 p.m.
So that's six Wednesdays. In the main worship center of the sanctuary at Pinedale, the big building. Yeah, and if you've never heard. Wade speak and talk about this. If you think your marriage is perfect.
Still come. You're going to learn something. If you think there's struggles, and sometimes those struggles are. And I'm going to ask Wade about this because I think sometimes those struggles are kind of underlying, and they just know there's a struggle, and you're thinking, well, is my spouse struggling with this? And you just kind of.
Keep it quiet until it kind of blows up.
So, I'm going to ask you to kind of speak on that, but also I'm going to throw another question at you and kind of put them together. What, I mean, with. You're being an ordained minister and a psychologist and stuff. What drew you to I mean, I think really your your passion is and I'm I may be you may say no, Jerry, it's has not that's not my passion, it's just what is couples and being godly couples. Yeah.
Well, you know, I think for me, uh, first of all, I want to have a great marriage. I mean, that's kind of the a high priority. And my wife and I, Jessica, have been doing marriage enrichment or retreats or things like that. Not I mean, within a couple of years of our marriage, And then I started looking around, and I'm sure that you have seen this, Jerry, and I'm sure the people listening have heard, seen it, and maybe known people. Uh That marriages While they can be great assets to our life, they can also derail a life too.
The way I look at it is marriage is really all about discipleship. We might get into that more later, but what I want to see couples do is really how do we encourage one another? Like Hebrews 10, 24 and 25, let's consider how to stimulate one another toward love and good deeds. And while Paul didn't write that to couples, he wrote it to the church. I believe that all those one another commandments in the New Testament start in our marriage.
Um And they don't end there, of course, but that's where they start. And so I want to see couples really grow together in Christ. But a lot of times we just don't have the couple skills. How do we make a marriage work? And so that's really the the Thing that I've dedicated my life to is how do we make it work?
Even when it seems off, How do we like recover from an argument? That's probably the number one skill. If you can't prevent it, which we can't because we're hung uh we're we're humans.
Well, we get hangry at least guys do. And um But then the most important skill after prevention is recovery. And that's what we don't know how to do often.
So anyway, yeah, so that's how I got really interested 'cause I I want to see people grow in Christ and and marriages are really the f if you're married, the first place that that needs to happen. Yeah, when Yeah. Early on when I got married, and this is probably the lesson I learned through life. that was, you know, everybody always told you, you know, marriage needs to be fifty, fifty. Mhm.
And I kind of bought into that till I got to the point where I realized i i if it's fifty fifty, it's that's not a good place to be. There's times when it's going to be a hundred 110 on one side. To my wife's credit, to Myra's credit, most of the time she ended up having to carry the load of the hundred percent where Uh I think we just have there's times where we just have to have to know that it it can't be that That tug-of-war where you're trying to keep that string tied on the rope in the middle. There's gonna be times where it's on a. Yeah, you know, it is.
I understand where that 50-50 comes from. But really, I think a lot of people in our culture will go, well, that means I don't have to try all the time, or I can neglect this relationship. And it's the last relationship that we should neglect. It needs to be the top priority for everything.
Some people, I mean, I have posted online, for instance, that your marriage comes before your kids, and people get really been out of shape about that. And I'm like, well, if you don't have a marriage and your marriage falls apart, that's going to have a negative impact on your kids.
So let's prioritize marriage. And there are times, though, when A husband or a wife will go through things. Maybe there's a mental health issue. Maybe they get depressed or anxious. And the other.
Uh, spouse has to carry a little heavier load. That's okay, that's a part of marriage. Over time, we have to trust that things are gonna. Return to balance. with it, uh within the marriage.
And so I get it, but it does need to be. Both people Moving toward Christ, moving toward wholeness individually and in the relationship as well. We can't really thrive or develop a flourishing marriage if we're not. being very conscientious and intentional in our marriages. And I'm going to tell you, I don't know that you probably won't have time to answer this question before we go to a break because as you're speaking, it made me think about something brought to mind that I have a question about because I see it and I've seen it a lot in marriage where when the kids come along, all of a sudden for one side of the marriage or the other, or it could be both, where the kids were the most important part of the marriage and then all of a sudden the The couple drift apart.
Mhm. And then when the kids start leaving the home, And that may just be what I'm seeing, and I'm gonna. No, I think there is something to that. I mean, I. I can tell you odd.
There you go. I knew he was coming up on the break. We're going to get back to that Wade. Again, Wade Arnold with me. We're going to talk about how we can get in touch with him and also the seminar coming up and classes coming up at Pinedale.
And when we come back from the break, we're going to have Nikita Koloff will be joining us. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Welcome back to Kingdom Pursuits. I'm Jerry Mathis, Ray's Body Shop and Record Service Christian Body Shop Guy with Wade Arnold in the room with me. And on the line, I have Nikita Koloff.
Hey, Nieta, Wade is... Uh Marriage counselors, psychologists, and stuff. Nikita, I think you've got a couple big events coming up at Pinedale. September 1st is Step Into the Ring men's event with Nikita Koloff. And I don't think I have many takers I want to step into the ring.
That is at September 1st, 6 to 8. Mu is supplied and Nikita will be the keynote speaker. And Pinedale Christian Church or Pinedale.church to register. We want RSVP because we want to make sure we have enough food to feed all the men if you're in the area. We'd love to hear you.
And Nikita, what's your plans for Tuesday night? Or have you am I asking you too early in the game?
Well, I mean, first of all, I would say definitely if all it takes is an RSVP for a free meal, well then, guys, you better get RSVP. I'm just saying that. I I or I assume, Jerry, that by food is supplied meaning. Free meal, free meal. And uh I looked at the menu and I forgot what it is, but uh let me see, I don't think I have it written down, but I I remember thinking Oh yeah, country style steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, green peas, Um Crunchy applesauce and rolls and desserts.
And I don't know what the desserts are going to be.
So, yeah, that's a reason enough to come right there.
Well, that sounds like an authentic Southern meal right there. I'm just saying. And when we and I think it's so, and Nikita, I'm going to kind of get you to share your heart a little bit because I know your heart is for men's ministry, for men, not just men's ministry, but for men to grow closer to Jesus Christ and to be the men in their homes and their community that they need to be.
Well, I think Nikita, that thump was, I think we must have just lost Nikita. Um while we're trying to get him back on the air, also I'm gonna go on Wednesday night, September the 2nd, Nikita will be at Pinedale Christian Church, and this will be open to everyone in the main sanctuary from 7 to 8. Nikita will be in your corner, and what it is, is the kickoff for the fall programming at Pinedale. And so, Nikita will be on one Wednesday night, and the next Wednesday night, you'll have Wade Arnold for six weeks.
So, it's like a pretty powerful seven weeks, if you ask me. One of us has more name recognition than the other one.
Well, maybe what we can do on the September the 2nd event. Uh maybe we'll get Wade, maybe you'll wrestle Nikita, okay? That's uh I want to get the uh the the the uh uniform. I want to get the outfit to go with the wrestling. I think I need that.
And I think we got Nikita back and I think he is also in Tennessee, uh big uh Signing session going on. I am, I am, my apologies. I am I am uh I in the styx of Tennessee on my way to uh to an autograph signing here and And meeting some amazing fans, looking forward, always fun to. Always wanted to meet the fans, hear their stories and their memories of all the matches and that sort of thing. Where'd we get cut off on September 1st?
What were we talking about? We were just talking about the event and what your plan was and sort of how that will go. I know that, as I said, I think you've got the heart for men's ministry, for men being godly men, being the men that God has them to be in their home and in the neighborhood and their community. And I think that's probably going to be the main thrust of Tuesday night. Yeah, it's just men and and I I guess, you know, I always encourage men of all ages, you know, dads, bring your sons, grandpa, bring your grandsons.
Sometimes you get three generations there. Um and In 20 years in this ministry, doing man camps and conferences and dinners and breakfasts and lunches. Um, you know, the Lord is always faithful to bring me a specific message for that particular group. And so I can't say I Uh I was saying I definitively have the the targeted message in the moment, but I trust and believe By the time I get there September 1st, the Lord will be faithful and and put it on my heart. what to share with those men.
And and Jerry, to your point, just uh more than anything, I guess, challenging men. you know, to be godly men, godly dads, godly husbands and you know, just honoring the Lord with their lives.
Okay. Yeah, I'm tell you, I've had the opportunity to hear you multiple times and always come away so blessed. I mean, and always challenged. I feel like I'm kind of where I need to be, or at least I hope I am. But even sitting there, I always come away challenged to step up.
And I just thank you for that. Another piece is I love the fact you said God will lay on your heart because I think we've talked before at different times when I asked you what you are going to be somewhere, what you're going to. Talk about it, and you always will say, I just wait and see what God lays on my heart. And then when I hear it, I say, Man, God laid the right thing on Nikita's heart for sure. I I appreciate it.
And and typically I I would say, you know, as you're talking, though you use the word challenge, Ninety-nine point nine percent of my messages uh Uh R typically challenging, but also I feel Encouraging, and then the other aspect of that, Jerry, is. It's one thing to give information you know, scripture references. And and a message But another thing to Uh put application to that, right?
So Uh any message I deliver, typically I try to give some very practical application. To whatever the message is. In other words, here's how it applies to your life.
So the challenge is. is Take this information, apply it to your life, and go out and be that godly man that God calls us to be. Absolutely. I think too many times we can get caught up into, and I think the other challenge that I hear. When I hear you speak, is not to worry about the audience that we think we're in front of.
We need to worry about the audience of one that's our Lord and Savior. 'Cause we can get tied up into the culture stuff and what other people may think and And and there's just It's just refreshing to hear somebody speak on that and stuff because I think too many times. We feel like we don't want to challenge men in that way because we feel like, you know, it's they know that, and I don't want to seem like I'm. pushing something on them and but I think we need to be challenged.
Well, and it it you're exactly right. I'm reminded of uh of uh Galatians 1.10 and and and it essentially s We have two options. We can please God or please man. Those are the two options. And um you know, I would encourage everybody to to set their posture their heart to where They desire to please the Lord in all that they do and not focus on pleasing.
There are a lot of people pleasers out there, and a lot of times that gets them in trouble. Hey, did I hear you say when I came back on air that we're going to have a wrestling exhibition with somebody the next night on September 2nd? Is that what I heard? I got Wade Arnold in the studio with me, who is going to be doing a six-week marriage. class on Wednesday nights at Pinedale.
And I said, since that'll be seven powerful weeks having you on that Wednesday night of the second, then Wade for the next six weeks. And I said the way to kick it off would be During your time here, just have a wrestling match. I told them to go ahead and get them some wrestling tights and come prepared.
Well, wait, Wade, Wade, here's... I have good news for you, Wade. You want good news? I want great news, please.
Okay. You won't feel when I hit you with the metal chair and slam you on the concrete, you won't feel a thing because wrestling's all fake.
Okay, okay, that's what I hear.
So I feel much better about that, Nikita. There you go. You just stand there, take it like a man, because you know, we are talking about manning up. It's time to man up. That's right.
I just need a rubber chair. Yeah.
Well, we might be able to reach that, or maybe I'll bring it up. No, no, no, no. We want it to look. We want the real thing. You want to be authentic.
Come on. You want to be authentic. That's right. When I'm going to be. Go ahead.
What would be the the challenge to have people come out? Tuesday night for the men's Dinner. And then Wednesday night, just for the challenge, to get people plugged in. Dive into God's word and to just a challenge for Wednesday night. For, you know, if you're part of Pinedale, great.
But if you're in the community, man, we would love to have you come join us. And you're not going to be able to, not many times you're going to be able to go into a church and hear Nikita Koloff speak and maybe have a wrestling match with Wade. Yeah, right. It's a rarity. It's a rarity.
So come out and see a novelty happen. But I would say for obviously again, for the men on the first, You know, it's welcome. It's not a, I would say, I hope I don't overstepping my bottom, but it's not a pinedale. uh event it's a community event so all ma you know From every church, all walks of life, you're all welcome to the men's dinner. Free, by the way, hello, uh, F-R-E-E, just register for the dinner, and then the community at large.
So, because a lot of times I hear I go into churches and the women are like, well, I want to hear him speak. How come I can't hear him speak? What's up?
Well, because it's a men's event, you know.
So but we occasionally have women slip in. But so Wednesday night is for the whole community. And so we've discussed some different formats.
So we'll see where that lands. I think the last time there, I think we did kind of a QA with Pastor, and that was a lot of fun. And we may do that again and just have a great time. Absolutely. And I told Nikita I'd get them off by 11:30.
It's 11:30. Nikita, I appreciate you. Look forward to September 1st and 2nd. Also, come prepared to be blessed, but also get some information. Men's camp information, I think, we'll have there, and some of your stuff will be there.
So, I'm Come on out and join us. Nikita, have a great weekend. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Welcome back to Kingdom Pursuits. Also, as Nikita went off the air, I just wanted to make sure we put Um For information concerning Nikita, as a guest speaker or anything, if you'd like to get in touch with him, Nikita Koloff.
Uh Koloff.org, I think, or the website, or just go to Nikita Koloff and you should be able to pull it up and find it. Also on. The first September 1st, he'll have information at Pinedale and stuff for his men camp and his radio show he does at one o'clock. Am I right, Nick? One o'clock.
Man up radio show on truth broadcast, and a lot of these same channels pick that up. Uh but you can get information Just put in the key to Koloff, and it'll bring you up to his website and everything else. It's a. Man is is amazing. I mean As much as his passion was and how sold out he was for wrestling, he's that sold out for Jesus Christ now.
And I encourage you to be there. A couple other events I'm going to mention coming up at Pinedale since we're talking about events. There's a women's luncheon coming up. August 22nd from 11 to 1. Again, you've got to go to pinedale.church to register for that.
That's a women's luncheon. I know Mary Kay Rath was involved in that. Also, our launch party, which is kind of Our kickoff is about three weeks of a kickoff for our Wednesday night program, and we have a launch party Wednesday night. August the 26th, it'll be out in the parking lot. We'll have blow-ups and exhibits and games, all kinds of fun stuff.
It's just a community thing. The community, if you're in this area, went to Salem, Greensboro High Point, come and visit us from 5 until 8 on Wednesday the 26th.
So, those two events, along with Step Into the Ring with Nikita Koloff, On September 1st, and then our Wednesday night programming kicking off on September the 2nd, 78, Nikita Koloff in the corner with Nikita, in which there may be a match between Wade and Nieta. And I'm putting my money, I just hate to say this, Wade. I'm gonna put my money on Nikita, okay? You should take the under with me. I'm gonna say the first.
First chair over the forehead is going to take you all out of this. I just think that'll get it. You won't even know that, you won't even feel the body slam, okay?
Well, back to the marriage stuff. And I know you just have a book, what is it? Marriage Covenant Blueprint. Right, Covenant Marriage Blueprint. That's your latest book?
Correct. And tell me a little bit about the book, and then how does, I know you've had a couple other books before that. How does this kind of all tie in? And then I also want to have us an opportunity to get in touch with Wade and what you're doing and the coaching and counseling and all of that good stuff. But again, for six weeks, you can come and hear Wade in the.
Comfort of a nice chair in our sanctuary and air conditioning and Hope you'll come and join us for that. Yeah, so the Covenant Marriage Blueprint is really, it started off as a rewrite of an earlier book, and then I got a chapter in, and I was like, oh, this is a different book. And so, really, what it explains is how, first of all, again, the themes that I bring together in all of my work is marriage is discipleship.
So, I start with that. And then a lot of the advice that we get. in couples work is if you go on more dates, if you do, you know, Six hours a week to a great marriage, and that's from John Gottman. And he's great, he's wonderful. But there's something that happens underneath.
Because in my marriage, and probably your marriage, and our listeners' marriages. The argument may not be the same every time, like the topic. But the pattern over time is the same. And in fact, I won't embarrass my wife, but Jessica and I started a pattern last night. I went to Maggie Valley to clean out a house and brought some stuff home.
And when I got home, she did something that was a part of the way that our pattern starts. And maybe I did something that started the pattern. I don't know, but I recognized it when she did it. And we let that pattern go, not me and Jessica, but we as couples. And if we can learn that underlying pattern.
And recognize it in the moment, that gives us power to make a choice to do something different. But we have to be able to recognize, okay, so. When I I'm looking for To relate to my wife or to my husband, this is how I do it. and sometimes they receive that in a way that I don't intend. Hm.
I wonder if I could do something a little different. And it really does take both spouses doing that.
So let me give you the very foundation of it. God created us. for connection. What I've discovered in working with couples over the years is that before we can have connection, we have to have safety. and every person seeks safety.
In a different way, slightly different, but there are patterns, and that's what I look for. That's essentially what a blueprint is. And so let's say that when I'm feeling unsafe in a relationship. And I try to create that safety. But that creates a lack of safety in my spouse.
Because the way that they seek safety is just the opposite.
So let's say that I seek safety through closeness. I'm going to move closer to my spouse. But if they seek safety by creating distance, that's going to make them uncomfortable.
So a lot of times what happens is that couples are seeking safety just in the exact opposite way. And they can't see it happening in real time. But if I can help couples see that, and that's just one pattern of about 10. And if I could help couples see what their pattern is. Then they can go, oh, we do that here.
Oh, and we do this over here. And the topics may change, but that underlying pattern. stays the same, then they can go, oh. Here we are. We're doing this thing that we do.
We we're doing this little dance. I'm seeking safety. You're seeking safety. But we're both feeling unsafe because we do it in opposite ways. the light bulb goes off and they can go, Oh, Let's try something different.
You need this?
Okay, I can help you do that.
So the end of it is Colossians 3:12, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Think about in your marriage, my marriage, all of our relationships, but especially in marriage, if we lead with those five virtues from Colossians 3:12, How much better would our message, our our marriage be? And and the world be starting with families.
So so that's the whole thing. That's what the six weeks is going to be about at Pinedale is we're going to talk about marriage as discipl as discipleship and we're going to talk about these underlying dynamics because you can go on all the dates you want to. And if you don't understand that, the dates are going to be terrible, right?
So, we want to get to this underlying dynamic so that couples can. really use their knowledge, wisdom, understanding. to create the kind of marriage that God wants them to have, that He created us for. One uh I just want to take the opportunity to make sure we only have a couple of minutes. But if you have a question, Mary's question, I mean, please give us a call.
And the phone number is it is a call-in show, so I should have said it's number sooner, 866-348-08. If you have a question for Wade. If if I'm wanted, if I'm going to come to Pinedale for those six weeks, And if I'm, or even if I'm not, how would I get a hold of the book? And also, Okay. If what we're talking about today stirs you're going, you know what?
There's some underlying things that I think I need to, we need to as a. As a couple coming in, I mean, do you take couples? Do you have couples? And do you also have individuals who do it as. Just don't do it together, but realize it's something I need to work on.
Yeah, so there's several things in there. One is if you come to Pinedale for the series, we're going to have paperback books there at a discounted price. You can also get it on Amazon for the paperback. I sell the electronic copy.
So if you want a PDF to print it out, or if you want an e-book that you can put on your Kindle, you can get those at my website. And that's WadeArnoldcoaching.com. And then you click on the bookstore, and all of my books are on that page.
So that's how you can get not only this book, but the other books that I've written as well. Then um I do work mainly with couples. I'd say probably about Maybe 70 or 80 percent. If it fluctuates because there's always movement in my client roster. Um I mainly work with couples, but that kind of also Begs the question of: Can a person make a difference in their marriage if they think they're the only one working on it?
And absolutely you can. The same principles apply whether an individual is working on their marriage or whether the couple comes in together. All right, we'll be back in just a moment. Kingdom Pursuit. Again, if you have a quick call in, 866-348-7884.
Yeah.
You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Welcome back to Kingdom Pursuits and uh wonderful Saturday morning and in the studio with Wade and Nikita on the line, and we have Jamal on the phone. Good morning, Jamal. Yeah.
Good morning, guys. How are you all doing? Thanks for taking my call. Hey, doing great, and hope you are. How are you?
Hey, Dr. Arnold, uh Glad he was on the radio, so when we had the option to call, I just couldn't resist her. It's great hearing your voice. Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
I had a question about Kind of a new notion that's going on with some young people. Not all, thank God, but some people say that uh we don't need marriage anymore. It's an old antiquated uh concept. Uh I think differently. I think marriage is a strength, but I want to get your opinion on that, doctor.
That is something that I hear going around, and you see a lot more cohabitation happening. It used to be I don't have the percentages in front of me, but there was a very small percentage Of cohabiting before marriage, but it is increasing, and part of that is that there's a delay in the marriage. age of first marriage. But the the idea that it's antiquated, I think, is a kind of a part of the zeitgeist of I think we're getting into a more and more self-centered. um a self-focused Kind of a tribalism in our culture, certainly in North America, that we don't have to actually be committed to one another.
And it goes exactly. Contrary to the idea of a covenant marriage, even in marriage, when couples get married, too many couples, even Christian couples, I've discovered, look at marriage as a contract. And a contract, of course, is there's an if and a then. But in covenant marriage, what I teach is that we make a commitment to one another before our friends and before God. And it is a covenant.
And you look at the way God enacted his covenant with Israel in the Old Testament. That's a perfect example of he pursued and he pursued, and Israel ran away and was unfaithful. And in my devotions, I'm reading the prophets now. And over and over and over again, you see God's faithfulness and you see Israel's Lack of faithfulness and outright rebellion. And too many couples now believe that that commitment.
And that covenant is unnecessary. And it's Partially because I think it well, within the church, I think that we haven't seen marriage as. Uh a covenant And a really a discipleship process. Because because listen, being a Christian does not make marriage any easier. The same issues come up Well, not exactly.
There are some other issues that hopefully don't come up in Christian marriage. But what I Our faith does, and what Scripture does, is give us guidance in an example of God pursuing Israel. And there's other specific examples of husbands pursuing their wives in the Old Testament as well. But it I it's It's based in this philosophy. Really, of rebellion against God.
You know, one of the things that I'll say a lot of times is you look at Genesis 1:1, in the beginning, God. And you believe that or you don't, and everything else sets the tone for the rest of your life. I mean, really, if you believe in the beginning God and you can accept that premise, then Genesis 2 makes sense, Genesis 3 makes sense, all the way through Revelation. But if you reject that, then it's going to have an impact on every area of your marriage, of your life, including your marriage.
So I hope that answers, or at least it addresses your question. question. It does. Nice, very thorough information packed answer. I appreciate that.

Jesus Labor of Love is a ministry that you can go to Christian Car Guy Radio, and it has a link to Jesus Labor of Love, where we supply cars to widows, single moms mainly. It's branched out to other people who have applied and stuff that we have given help to. But I always tell people: do not take away from your local church giving. But if you have some extra. Funds or want to donate somewhere.
This is a ministry that 100% of the money that is given goes to that ministry where we will repair vehicles and The thing is, we all can go out. When I leave today, I'm going out. I'm putting a key in my car and some cranking. I'm going to go down the road. We don't realize how much of a burden it is to try to survive in society today without those vehicles, a way to get to work.
And some of these mothers and single moms are, that's their transportation to be able to supply for the family by being able to work. And also, they have kids that need to go to the doctor. Love to, there's a link there to be able to give on Jesus' Labor of Love, but also if you have a vehicle, if you're looking out the window drinking your coffee this morning, there's a car sitting there, your wife's been telling you to get out of the driveway. Please give us a call. We can turn that into a running car or turn it into a cash to help somebody else.
