So, why has God blessed America? I don't know if we need to bring some of the auditorium lights down or not, but we want to go through this. As we can, and let you follow with us. The word of God says in Proverbs 14:3: In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride. And if there ever been a nation that thought they didn't need God, it's America right now.
We're rich and we're in need of nothing. And then the Bible says in Psalms 33, 12, Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. God has blessed us and God will continue to bless us if we honor him. Then there's a warning in the word of God in Proverbs 23. Remove not the old landmarks.
And then, Pastor, it says, enter not into the field of the fatherless. And I went back and did some research on that. And in the corner of a piece of property, if you're in Israel, they'll stack up a pyramid of stones. a large all the way up to smaller, and that'll be your boundary line. And then over here at the end of your property, they'll do the same thing.
And that's called the landmark. And it says here about the fatherless that if the daddy or the granddaddy dies, don't go in there at night. and take their stones. and move them and make their farm and land smaller. while you make your land bigger.
that you would take away from them that are not protected. And according to what we're doing in America, we so are intoxicated on prosperity. Pleasures of sin for a season, a selfie generation, that we're taking down the heritage of our children. That they don't have. You grew up in vacation Bible school.
We just had a man elected president of our country who'd never been to a Fourth of July picnic, never been to vacation Bible school. He'd grown up on an island in Hawaii, and he'd grown up with a Marxist atmosphere. And not everybody loves America, ladies and gentlemen. And you need to know how quickly things have changed in our world. Our faith is built upon the Word of God.
Our founding fathers were men and women of faith, and a faith foundation is there to build our nation. And the word of God reminds us not to forget. And there's three things we're not to forget. Number one, that God loves us. Number two, that Jesus died for us.
And the faith and religious liberty of our fathers was a gift from Almighty God. It says in Psalm 78, 2, that we have a responsibility. I will open my mouth. In a parable, I will utter dark sayings of old. And what will I do there?
I will be able to say to my children, which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. Mom and dad, grandmother, grandfather, have your children, grandchildren ever heard you tell how you got saved? Have they ever heard your personal testimony of how I was doing out in the world, how I was living? But your daddy, your granddaddy, God came by and changed my life. I wasn't always this way.
God had to make me in a wonderful change. Psalm 78, 4. We will not hide them from their children, showing the generation to come the praises of the Lord. Number two, his strength and of his wonderful works that he hath done. I had all kinds of phone calls yesterday from different states and pastors saying, how can we have young adults in America shouting death to America from the river to the sea, Palestine shall be free?
That means kill all the Jews. That's just code. The river's Jordan River. The sea is Mediterranean.
So if that's wiped out. And remember this, this will help you. There's only 7 million Jews in Israel. But there's 200 million Arabs around them.
So where are they going to go? I mean, and they talk about free Gaza. It's occupied. Gaza hadn't had a Jew live in there since 2006. 2005, the Israeli army went into Gaza and forcibly removed the Jewish families that were there.
Almost 3,000 families had farms and agricultural centers and some employed Thousands and thousands of Palestinians. They were the breadbasket of the Middle East, feeding Egypt and Jordan, Europe, and Israel from the beautiful farms there. And to make a peace deal, Israel said, all right, we'll bring the Jews out of there. The Jews didn't want to leave. The army made them leave, pull them out.
And when they did, how did the Gazans celebrate the Jews leaving? They set all the tractors, all the farms, all the greenhouses on fire and burned them all down. Ladies and gentlemen, you need to know that it's different from what you read in the paper. There's no occupation in Gaza. The Jews have been out since 2005.
And so you need to know where we're facing. It's all biblical. It's what we're up against. And he says, we need to tell our children how we got here and how God has blessed us. We will not hide them.
from our children, the spiritual truth and the historical facts. showing the generation to come our legacy. And then Psalm 78 is actually a sacred trust. And we're to tell our kids three things. Number one, the love of God.
And number two, the truth of God's word. And number three, that we are held accountable as heritage keepers for the next generation. I'm going to give you three main reasons God has blessed America. If you're making notes, you can write them down. But these are the three things.
Number one, God has blessed America because of our founding faith. The word of God was in the hearts. of the settlers that came to our country. 1620, the Mayflower. And you have a Christian school here, you know that they would not get off the Mayflower until they took a parchment and a quill pen and drew up a document.
and said, we're not here as real estate developers, we're not entrepreneurs, we're here for religious freedom. And they wouldn't get off there till they signed it. And they said, we're here for the cause of Christ. The Plymouth Colony, the Massachusetts Bay Colony, 1642. Last year during all that craziness, I went to Harvard and preached out on the concourse there.
And one of the things I was preaching about is that you've left the heritage that God gave you, the founding fathers, the people that sacrificed. And I found this law. I thought you'd be fascinated with it. 1642 and I'm going to read to you the law. Success of our colony.
depends on the people literate enough to read the Bible. and the laws of the land. That was a law that wouldn't pass North Carolina and Raleigh right now. That wouldn't pass in Washington, D.C., that we want our people to be literate so they can read the Bible. But yet how many of the people in North Carolina know that 98% of the founding fathers were Protestants?
98% of our founding fathers. And so there's a reason God has blessed America. There's a reason we're enjoying those blessings. And so we're seeing them. Our founding fathers believed Psalm 78.
They thought they had to teach and train. They said, as our pastors get older, who's going to preach to us?
So they said, we need to open some Bible colleges. And they opened three that you may be familiar with to teach the next generation of preachers: Harvard. Princeton, and Yale. And they are not Bible colleges today. Harvard just put in the new dean of the Department of Religion, who's an atheist.
So, uh Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. That's all I can say. Number two, the reason God has blessed America is because we've always had freedom of religion. And boy, that's not to be taken for granted. If you travel, If you get to go to another country, Well, you'll come home and you'll thank God for America, even with our problems.
God has blessed America. We're in a great land. And so we see that over and over. And there's three parts to that freedom. Number one, we have free will or tolerance, it's in the Word of God.
God didn't make us robots. God doesn't make me love him. God doesn't take me in the parking lot and tie me to the bumper of an F-150 and say, you're going to love me. God said, I'm going to give my son to die for you. and you can become a believer and be saved.
And I'll love you and take you home with me for all eternity. I want your fellowship. I want your love. but you've got a free will. I'm not going to make you love me.
Isn't that amazing? And we carried that to America. That became a part of how we operated.
So the second part was we had freedom from religion. You could be an American and you didn't have to be any religion. If you wanted to be an atheist, you can be an atheist. The future wasn't too bright, but you could, and it was available. And then number three, you had the freedom to worship God in the way that you wanted to.
Whether if you wanted to be a Jewish believer and follow the Old Testament, or if you wanted to be a Bible believer. Uh all of that was free there for us as people of faith.
So God began to let us see how our country's been blessed. And America does not and never has had these three things that you'll find. Like in certain Middle East countries, you can't be the prime minister or an officer in the government unless you're a Muslim. that you're required to be a certain religion. But so America, no national religion.
Number two, There was no national government mandated belief system. And number three, there was no required religion like it would be in England for the Church of England to have an office in the country.
So all of that was available.
Now, the third reason that we've been blessed. And this is the powerful connection for what you're seeing. I just did a message on rockets over Jerusalem last Sunday. And if you've not had an opportunity to see that. That's a historic night.
when we had rockets over the holy city. But let me just tie this together with what's happening. God has blessed America because we have provided a home. for the Jewish people. You want to know why God's blessed America?
Well Right here is the reason. That one verse. I will bless them that bless thee. I'm more. That's in the book.
That's a God said it. And you say, well, I don't agree with it. I've got the... I know, I know there's a lot of problems. But you've just got to admit, if God said it, that's God's word.
And if you either believe it or you don't believe it, and God did it, and God said, I'm going to bless them that bless thee. And he said, if you curse them, I'll curse you.
Now that's strong as Hong Kong, but it's in the books.
So I just, I'm messed up. I believe the book. Consider with me that after the Roman Empire scattered the Jews, they roamed the world with no place to call home. There was no place for them. And because of that, being no place for the Jews to come in, look what happened.
There was a revolution in 66 AD. Persecution, taxation was unbelievable. And so the Jews revolted in 66 AD. Rome, Italy, the Caesar heard about their gaining ground. They're going to overthrow the Roman army.
So he took his top general. And he organized his top general, gave him a flotilla of ships, gave him armament and horses and chariots and hundreds and thousands of men, loaded them all up in Italy. They sailed to Caesarea. and they sailed to Joppa. and unloaded them and then they in 70 AD They besiege Jerusalem.
And you'll see, here's the walls of the old city. And you see, they started fires. all the way around the old city. to crack the walls, crack the stones, and break down the defenses. And so this painting is almost on the Mount of Olives.
Uh when the the general Titus came in to take down Jerusalem. And so when that happened, General Tatus Here's four main things you need to remember about this Italian. general. He was a genius. He was a military strategist.
But here's four things. Number one, He crushed the revolt. and he killed the warriors. He killed them. If you were in the resistance, he killed you.
Jews fled.
Some went underground.
Some went down to where we found the Dead Sea Scrolls, Qumran.
Some went into the wilderness of Judea and hid out. There's always been Jews there. But the main resistance, he killed them, all right? Number two, he tore down the second temple. And He did that, and without realizing it, He fulfilled a prophecy that was made 70 years in front of him.
Matthew chapter 24. Jesus is with the disciples on the Mount of Olives. And they ask him, remember they asked him those three things, what shall be the sign of thy coming? What shall be the sign of the end of the world? You know, they're asking all these questions in Matthew 24, verse number 3.
And so what he did is he tore down that temple. And when Jesus answered the disciples, he said, not only is this gonna be torn down, He said, but one stone will not be left upon the other. And the most beautiful building in the world was the second temple, shrouded in gold and silver. And when he set that building on fire and burned it, All that gold and silver melted and it ran down the mortar joints. And when it cooled, guess what Titus did to the army?
He said, part of your pay, he said, I'll let you loot the temple. Isn't that something? They're going to loot the temple. And when he did, All that gold and silver is those joints. and they literally pried apart every stone.
the words of Christ were fulfilled to the jot and to the tittle. Not one stone shall be left upon another. And they took it apart. And that gives you confidence today that your Bible is the inerrant, infallible, holy inspired Word of God. I mean, that's enough to make a Presbyterian say amen.
I mean, you ought to know that the Bible's real. And there's confidence in that. And look there, when he did that, here I was just in Rome, Italy. And Chris and all of yep. We got to go.
We got to see a lot of this. And there we are at the Coliseum. And there's the big arch called the Arch of Titus. And you know why that was put up to celebrate. them conquering Jerusalem.
and killing all the Jews. And so they built a big memorial in Rome, Italy. And but you see up here on the top, There's a picture carved in there. that relief. I want you to look up close.
Look what they're bragging about. Here's the Roman soldiers. They're coming in with Titus. Look at here. That's the menorah.
out of the second temple. and part of the showbread stands. and the silver trumpets and the golden chalices and all the wealth of the second temple. And they're bragging, we're bringing that to... Rome, Italy.
Where is it tonight? The Vatican, exactly right. It's still there. the wealth of the second temple. Because the if it was in a museum, everybody in the world would know it.
And Israel, they've been yelling for decades, we want all that back. And you say, well, we didn't get it.
Well, somebody did. You bragged about it and made a stone picture that it would never go away. That 2,000 years later, you would know what you accomplished.
So here you are, ladies and gentlemen, and you're alive. Can you imagine how much God loves you? You're alive. to see all these prophecies and you've got more Bible proof that God's real, Jesus is real, the Holy Ghost is real than any generation of believers that have ever lived. And yeah, you're I'm not sure I believe that.
Well, bless God, I'm not sure you get to go either. You got to believe something to go somewhere. Say amen right there. Hey, we're living. Hey, this is no time to play church.
We're here. And we've got to see how quickly it happened. Here's number three, number four: what Titus did. All the survivors are placed into slavery. Have you heard this word, dyspora?
Well, everybody that survived, he bound them hand and foot. He took them to Joppa and to Caesarea, put them on Roman boats as slaves. And the garrison there Everywhere there was a Roman Empire station, outpost, they took Jews to serve in servitude. They fulfill every Every Governor, every leader in all around the world where there were Romans. And their army, and they sent the Jews to do the labor, to do the work, to build.
They sent them around the world.
So they were changed. And they chained them some to ships, and they spent their life on ships. being the energy to pull the ship. But here's number four. Look at this.
Titus, the general, he changed the New Testament name of Israel. Have you ever heard of this word? Palestinia. He changed the word. for Israel to Palestine.
and General Tatis. is the one that did it. And he made a proclamation. All the Jews are gone. And Israel is no more.
And this will be Palestinia. And he had the Jews scattered around the world. And from that day, 70 A.D., to May 1948. Jews had no home. They were orphans in the world.
God's chosen people. The people that God chose. The people that God said, I will bless them that bless thee. And he said, I'll curse them that would curse thee. How'd that turn out for Rome?
How'd that turn out for Adolf Hitler? You follow me? Yeah. And how did it turn out for Great Britain? They're the one that lied to the British.
The British are the ones that lied to the Jews. The Balfour Treaty was drawn up by a Christian man, Alfred Balfour, in 1917. And when it went to the negotiation table in 1922, guess what we had? We had two-state solutions. Have you ever heard that word?
Two-state solutions, we had one. We had the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan and we had Israel. In 1922, we have two states. We had the Palestinians were going to be in Jordan and the Jews were going to be in Israel. And Britain changed it all.
They got cold feet and they got the money of the oil people. And guess what they did? They lied to Israel. They took 71% of their land. 1922.
You don't, you know, why we don't know this stuff, they don't teach history anymore. We don't know what happened in our own world.
So Titus, he changed all that and changed the name. 1516, the Ottoman Turks come in there. The British mandate I just mentioned to you there in 1917. And here's the, these are unclassified now. These are CIA maps that we've got to hold up there, but they're declassified that you can see Israel's gone down, down, down, down until they got this little piece of real estate.
And now Balfour, he wrote to Lord Rothschild. And he said what? He said there needs to be a Jewish homeland. said for 2,000 years there's not been a place for the Jew. And the persecution was still going on.
Spain, the Iberian Peninsula, Poland, Germany, all that was still happening. And so he said there needs to be a layum for him. From 70 AD to May 14, 1948, there's no home for the Jewish people. and where are they going to find refuge? There's no place for them.
Unless what happens? 2023 Let me back up one here. 2023 When Balfour signs this paper, And then 70 AD, 1948, for 400 years, the Jews come to America for acceptance and freedom. from persecution and a place that they can have a Shabbat, they can have a Passover. And ladies and gentlemen, tomorrow night...
It's Passover. Sundown tomorrow night. And there's a lot of buzz in Israel. I just left there. Because they have Not only one beautiful red cow, red heifer.
They got five. I've got the picture here on my phone. They're at Shiloh, they're on the farm. A lot's happening at one time. And so we're here to see all of these prophecies.
And From 2023 to 2024. then what happened in America? We've got a birth. of hatred for Israel. pro-terrorism, pro-Hamas.
pro-violence against the Jew. Whoever dreamed after studying American history and world history, and we've got husbands and grandfathers that were in World War II that cut the chains off the death camps. Right? And they got the story. Firsthand, it's not hearsay.
Our relatives liberated Germany and Poland and they told the stories. And yet here we are in America and we got our young people in college saying, gas the Jews. What are you saying? What are you saying? Death to America.
What are you saying? Death to Israel. And did you hear that man in Dearborn, Michigan this weekend? And he was screaming. He said, burn America down.
Burn it down. You know what that tells you? They're jihadist. They're not a, you say, well, they came in and... They have not, America was known as a melting pot.
And there's something going on now. They don't want to blend in. They don't want to be there. They keep their own culture. We got certain parts of Dearborn, Michigan under Sharia law that the Dearborn police cannot even go into.
It's another country. It's another world. And so you're living to see all of these prophecies. And now we've got the return of that hatred for the gene. and tens of thousands have joined pro-Palestinian movements.
across the United States. And here's what's uh scary. is read that sign. by any means necessary. And you know who's feeding this?
The liberal left. And why are they feeding it? Uh I I'm terrible. Come on, man. Did anybody just take a second look at the picture at Columbia University when they put all the tents up?
Did you see all those thousands of young people? Did you see the tents there? Did anybody pay any attention that they were all the same color? And they were all made by the same manufacturer. And that somebody went with the truck and bought them all and paid for them at one time?
Yeah. And who was behind it? George Forrest, his George Soros Foundation, that he is anti-America. Did you know George Soros? He bought.
a progressive ticket in every case. County in North Carolina, all 100 counties, his money was in your county, my county, to change us that would have district attorneys that would not prosecute the law. That's what happens in LA. That's what happens in New York. That's what happens in Chicago.
They break the law and they beat the policeman back on the street. Because you've got this, well, they're just kids. Let's turn them back out. They can thank God my daddy wasn't their daddy. That's all I got to say.
You'd think you're just a kid. God promised a land to the Jew, and God promised to bless those who blessed Israel. And God had a plan for the Jews in the fulfillment of his prophecy. in 1948. And so you are the generation.
And so America, the reason God has blessed us is we turned out to be a temporary home for Israel. And God made us a great nation because we kept the scripture. of Genesis chapter 12 and verse 3. And now You remember that we used to have a news story. Uh several decades ago by the name of Paul Harvey, a great newscaster.
And he always would come down to a part of the story and he'd say, and now? for the rest of the story.
Well You've got the first part. But now I'm going to get to the goody part. The rest of the story, Why God Has Blessed America. Here it comes. For us being a nation of Bible believers.
Well, something happened. on April 7th, 1740. A Jewish baby is born in Poland, and his name is Chaim Solomon. and his families fleeing persecution. The greatest news that anyone can receive is the news of the free gift of salvation found in Jesus Christ.
It is our desire for you to know him personally. Would you take a moment to hear this today? Every man is born with a sin nature. Romans three twenty three says For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. No matter how hard we try, we're not good enough to obtain God's glory.
or to get to heaven. Because of that, sin carries the penalty of death. Romans 6.23 says, For the wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life. through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The wages of our sin, or the payment of our sin, only equals death and separation from God. But it's only through God's gift salvation through Jesus Christ that we can accept him as our Saviour. Jesus Christ paid for your sin debt. The Bible says in Romans 5:8, but God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. All you have to do is receive Christ.
by faith as your Saviour. Romans ten nine says That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Verse 13 continues, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. It's as simple as admitting that you're a sinner believing that Jesus is the only way. and calling upon his name.
Bible says whosoever that's anyone can call upon the name of the Lord to be saved. Have you accepted Christ as your personal Savior? There is no greater day than today to take care of this.
