It is! The JR Sport Brief Show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. I'm coming to you live from Atlanta, Georgia. Thank you so much to everybody tuned in and locked in all over North America. I'm happy to be here with you.

I'm happy that you're here. The show gets started every single weekday at 6 p.m. Eastern, 3 Pacific. You can always tune in on the free Odyssey app. Wherever you live, you can listen live on your local Infinity Sports Network affiliate station. If you got Sirius XM, paying that monthly fee, maybe on the free trial. Either way, I'm on channel 158 on Sirius.

If you have a smart speaker, ask the speaker to play the Infinity Sports Network. I'll be hanging out with you for three more hours. The show gets started at 6 p.m. Eastern, 3 Pacific. I'm being joined by super producer and host Ryan Hickey. Ryan Hickey is in New York City. Speaking of New York City, the New York Yankees, they're in Cleveland, Ohio, where the Cleveland Guardians currently have a 2-1 lead against the Yankees in the bottom of the sixth. The Guardians lead 2-1, bottom of the sixth. The New York Yankees lead the series 2-0. Cleveland is trying to put a one-up on the board, trying to make it 2-1.

We'll keep you informed on the game as it continues on. This is the American League Championship Series. If we go ahead and take a look at the National League Championship Series, the Mets, they're in action in an hour from now. The New York Mets hosting the Dodgers, trying to avoid a 3-1 hole.

The Dodgers lead that series 2-1. Also, about an hour from now, down in beautiful New Orleans, Louisiana. Beautiful. Unless it's 3 o'clock in the morning. There's still drunks outside on Bourbon Street. You got to step over puddles of things that you don't know what the hell they are.

Somebody is trying to shine your shoes, and when you don't want them to shine your shoes, maybe you're tripping over a brick, maybe you lost your money in a casino. New Orleans is a beautiful place. I love it. I absolutely do.

I really do. Outside of that, the Broncos are there to take on the Saints. Sean Payton returns home, current head coach of the Denver Broncos, former head coach of the New Orleans Saints. And Drew Brees is going into their version of the Hall of Fame.

Good for him. That means that they'll pack the place out, even though the game will stink tonight, because it will basically feature Spencer Rattler and Bo Nix. No Chris Olave dealing with a concussion. He's still in concussion protocol.

And Rashid Shaheed, he gone. He's out for the entire season after having meniscus surgery earlier today. Yeah, it's not looking good for the Saints.

The Saints. 855-212-4227. That's 855-212-4227. How about this? In about 20 minutes, we're going to have a chat with Chip Towers from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He's going to come through and join us to talk about the Georgia Bulldogs. They got a big old game coming up against the Texas Longhorns. This game is so damn big, particularly for the Bulldogs.

This is their first time being an underdog in several years. Yeah, this is something the Bulldogs know nothing about. We're going to talk about a former Bulldog in a minute. That man's name is Justin Fields.

But before we do that, out of all the things that we're getting ready for, football game, baseball game, the baseball game going on now. Earlier today, a few hours ago, the college basketball world lost another coach, not because anything happened to him. But he quit.

He said, I'm not doing this anymore. Tony Bennett. No, not that Tony Bennett. Tony Bennett from Virginia, from the Cavaliers. He's gone.

Like right now, today. And he ain't old. The guy is only 55 years old.

They got a press conference scheduled for him tomorrow morning. This man won a national championship in 2019 with the Cavaliers right before that stupid covid year happened. And I remember one of the players. Yeah.

Yeah. DeAndre Hunter. He plays here for the not the Falcons, the Hawks. He plays here.

He's always hurt. But anyway, we don't know why this guy, Tony Bennett, decided to quit. I mean, a few months ago, he signed a contract extension to take him to 2030. That's six more years.

So you sign a contract a few months ago, you quit today. You don't know. People go through things and life happens. Life lives.

You can never predict what happens. A matter of fact, Tony Bennett, he spoke last week and he talked about the importance and how great it was to be the head coach of these Cavaliers. This is what he told Sirius XM. I'm very grateful.

I didn't know when I took the job. I had a hope. I had, I think, a vision, what I thought hoped would happen. But it's been amazing to see it happen. And obviously you've been some ups and downs, but for the most part, extremely blessed to, you know, done it in a way that I think is is true to how we have to do it at Virginia or how we've chosen to do it. And it's, it's remarkable because I just wanted a chance to see, can we build a program against the Blue Bloods at the time and go against Hall of Fame coaches?

Can we, can our staff, can I build a program? Can we get the right players and see if we can get a chance? I always have my Rocky poster in my office to remind me a chance at a title fight. Just a chance at a title fight. And that's what I sold the vision to all those guys that came before.

Help us put this thing on the map and get a chance. So I'm very grateful. And, you know, even just to see the evolution of change in college sports, but change in the league, but incredibly grateful. Yeah, this is, I'm not going to sit here and speculate. Like something happened that changed his mind. And we'll find out if it's any of our business.

We will find out tomorrow. I told you he won that championship in 2019. He is gone. After 15 seasons, 10 NCAA tournament appearances, he's out of here. Tony Bennett is stepping down immediately as head coach. He's gone of the Cavaliers.

Mark Few, Mr. Zig and Zag from out west. He was on the field of 68. And he said, Tony Bennett stepping away.

Sucks for college basketball. He's as good a person as there is, and he's a great player. He's a great player. He's a great a person as there is in any walk of life. I mean, he not only talks his faith, but he walks his faith. And he's just an incredible basketball coach and an even better person. And what he's done at each of his stops is unbelievable.

Yeah, well, people are entitled to do whatever the hell it is that they want. Think about this. There has to be a reason this man is leaving money on the table between now and 2030 to do whatever it is that he is going to do next. I mean, look, it was only a few weeks ago that AJ Griffin, who was a baby in the NBA, his dad coached in the NBA. His dad was the one who got fired from the the Milwaukee Bucks. But anyway, his son, AJ Griffin, he decided to retire to follow Jesus.

That's what he said. I gave up basketball to follow Jesus. This man played for the Houston Rockets.

He was here in Atlanta for the Hawks, a bench player come off the bench every now and then every couple of games. And even so, I mean, he could have stayed in the NBA and as a bench player, he could have made millions of dollars. But he decided to walk away. Good for him. Who am I to say and tell somebody when it's time to quit?

Unless you're just a jerk and I'm sick and tired of looking at you. Somebody like Tom Brady. It got to the point where it's like, OK, Tom, go home. LeBron James is still good. I'd be more interested in him sending his hit his kid home if his kid stinks than LeBron. Oh, here we go. The Cleveland Guardians just scored another run.

The Guardians now lead the New York Yankees three to one. It's the bottom of the sixth. Anyway, all the best to Tony Bennett. He's going to have his press conference tomorrow. And at that point, I assume that we'll find out more details as to why he decided to step away just months after signing a contract extension.

And this puts the Cavaliers obviously in a tough spot. November 6th is the start of this season. That's weeks away.

It's like two weeks away. So all the best to him and his decision and whatever the hell is driving him there to it. Speaking of decisions, we've known about this decision all week long. The fact that Russell Wilson returning for these Broncos. Oh, no, the Broncos gave him the boot. Russell Wilson returning for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Russell Wilson showing up, getting the first team practice reps. Russell Wilson showing up to take the starting job from Justin Fields.

And now Justin Fields. I got to give him credit. This man is actually holding himself accountable. He's not wanted. He's not complaining.

He's not crying. Justin Fields stood in front of the media today and he told everybody, you know, ain't no quarterback competition. And there wouldn't be a quarterback competition. If I did my job, if I perform better at my gig, we'd have no worries and no problems. Listen to Justin Fields say, yeah, pipe down. I ain't been all that good. I don't think I played good enough from being real with you.

If I'm being real with myself, I think if I did play well enough, I don't think there would be any sort of who should be playing, who should not. So we got a few wins. Of course, I'm glad about that.

But, you know, there's areas that I could be better at and I'm just going to continue to work on those and continue to get better. Wow. An NFL quarterback being honest. And there's a lot of people I know who take a look at the Steelers record. Steeler fans in a lot of cases sometimes they're never happy.

My conversations with them. And we spoke to Ray Fittipaldi about this, or Poldo, excuse me, a couple of days ago about this. Steeler fans have high expectations as they should. They want to fire Mike Tomlin. They want to sit Justin Fields. They want Justin Fields to play. And now we're 4-2.

Why are we shaking things up? The Steelers take on the Jets in the next game. You don't think the New York Jets are going to have a little bit of a battery in their back. Yes, they lost to the Buffalo Bills Monday night. We saw that. Pretty terrible.

Then they traded and brought in Devante Adams. You don't think that they're going to, you know, feel a little hype to go out there and win this game? Even though they're going to be on the road, the Steelers are going to be hosting? The Steelers have had one of the worst passing offenses in the entire NFL. Every game has been a rock fight.

When you legitimately take a look at the stats and the numbers for Justin Fields, the passing attack is non-existent. You might as well try to mix things up. Make the other team think that they don't know what the hell is going to come. Is it going to be Russell Wilson? Is it going to be Fields?

And where and what and who and how? They've got a better chance of scoring points that way. We know their defense is going to be good. But the offense? Yeah, Fields can be a glorified manager of the game. He can be a glorified running back. But when it comes to throwing the ball?

Yeah, there's still work to be done. Everybody's favorite QB, Russell Wilson, he talked and he said, man, it feels, it feels so good to play some football, not with the backups, but with the starters. I'm more myself, physically beyond going on and all that stuff. So I feel good. It's been a great week so far.

And we're just, you know, we're excited to play, you know, Sunday night, obviously at home in front of our fans. Yeah, Russell Wilson is always happy. He's never had a bad day in his life. He's always good, always happy. Good for him. 855-212-4227.

That's 855-212-4227. In a few minutes, we're going to have a chat with Chip Towers from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. We're going to talk about a team that Justin Fields used to play on. We're going to talk about the Georgia Bulldogs. They got a big matchup, SEC now matchup coming up against the Texas Longhorns. Sean is here from Michigan.

You're on the JR Sport. Please show us up, Sean. It's just a game, brother. No matter how you look at it, you got to realize that all the fans are going to go out there. They're all going to root for their teams. They really are. And that's what it's all about.

It doesn't matter if they're bad or good. Everybody wants to get out of their routine and they just want to go root for their team and their stadiums and stuff. Sean, if I may ask you, what are you referring to? You just said everybody wants to go outside. You gave no frame of reference. What are you talking about? Oh, to the game.

Everybody wants, even though you were talking that game is going to be so terrible. Oh, well, let me help people out here. You just started talking. You're talking about from last hour where I referred to the Saints and the Broncos. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

They just want to go out and have a good time. Yeah. Have you been to New Orleans? I actually was. I was I was down there when Superstorm Sandy here. Was that the name of it? No, you weren't there for Sandy. No, no wrong. No, I was I was there for Sandy and I drove a truck from Superstorm all the way up to New York.

Yeah, I dealt with all the oak trees that were laying on top of cars. All right. So you heard that you heard the part where I said the fans are going to fill that place up. It's an amazing place to watch a game.

And even though the teams are bad, the place is going to be jumping. You heard that part, too, right? I didn't. Maybe I might have been out doing what fans do.

Time leading, you know. Oh, you were drinking. It will be hopping.

It will. No, no, no, no. I don't care about that. No, I didn't ask you. You're repeating what I said already. You were drinking. That's what you did.

Well, don't you think everybody else is going to be doing that same thing tonight? You're you're in Michigan. I don't know. What do you got to do in New Orleans?

Nothing. Thank you, Sean, for calling from Michigan. It's the J.R. Sportbree show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. We're going to take a break when we come back on the other side. It's time to talk about some Georgia Bulldogs. We're going to be joined by Chip Towers. This was supposed to be a big matchup.

It still is. If Georgia loses to the Longhorns, they're still going to make the college football playoff, right? Can they even score with the Longhorns?

We're going to figure out what this matchup means for both teams, specifically the dogs. It's the J.R. Sportbree show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. And Chip Towers is joining us on the other side.

So don't you move. You're listening to the J.R. Sportbree. It's the J.R. Sportbree show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. Man, we got all this baseball and the major leagues for the World Series. They're trying to get to the World Series. We got Thursday Night Football. We're getting ready for more college football action.

And you might say the biggest game that we have over this weekend. We got the Georgia Bulldogs. We got the Texas Longhorns. We got a team in the Bulldogs is going to be an underdog for the first time in almost 50 games. We got a Texas team that is lighting everybody up, sitting at top at number one.

So to talk about what this means for Georgia, having already lost to Alabama, Alabama getting smacked around now, if Georgia loses this game, where do they stand to talk about this and everything going on with the Bulldogs? Joining us right now is Chip Towers from the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Chip, how are you, man? Hey, J.R., how are you?

I'm very well. I was thinking that you were across the street from me at the brand new AJC building, but you're already down in Austin. No, I'm here.

Yeah, I'm getting ready to. I've been mostly, you know, you know, playing strange and automobiles kind of today, but I'm about to head kind of down into downtown Austin, get a little something to eat, check out the scene. But I'll tell you, between the Atlanta airport and the Austin airport, you know, it's pretty obvious there.

There's a lot of dogs fans here. Yeah, there were Longhorn fans coming from Atlanta. You know, people all over the place, not to mention, not to mention, you know, the Formula F1 race, which is really what has taken up most of the hotel rooms and driven up the prices around Austin this week. So it's quite a scene. And as I understand it, you know, it's going to be it's going to be pretty wild in and around that stadium in the area they call Bevo Boulevard over the next couple of days. Oh, I can imagine. I have some ideas about what is going to look like tonight, man.

Sixth Street is going to be a wild one. Well, let's talk about the matchup in the game. There's a lot at stake for these Georgia Bulldogs. We saw what happened against Alabama that 41-34 loss a few weeks ago. They came back and they beat Mississippi State, but they gave up 31 points in the process. Have all the amazing Bulldogs just graduated over to the NFL? What's the deal with this team?

Yeah, I mean, you know, I have to agree with you from the standpoint, I mean, they just don't look like the dogs certainly of 21 and 22. And, you know, maybe even last year, you know, last year's team, I think, was poised to make a championship run. And obviously what happened happened in the SEC championship game. And, you know, certainly validated the idea of maybe beating 12 teams for a playoff. But, you know, you're drilling down on it. And, you know, Kirby didn't even like it being brought up.

You know, this week I brought it up, of course. You know, about that it feels like there's just all the pressure on Georgia, right? They already got that loss at Tuscaloosa. And certainly they comported themselves well to come back and actually take the lead in that game. But they lost at the end of the day.

A road loss, I don't think you can diminish them as a team that much, you know, losing by seven in that environment. Let me tell you, you know, I've been to Alabama and Tuscaloosa a couple times. I've never seen it quite the way it was that night. And some fans I talked to that day said it was as, you know, as on its gear of an environment as they've seen since they played, I think, LSU in 2011.

So, anyway, you're going to have the same type of atmosphere here. And it just feels like the chips are sort of stacked against Georgia. There was nothing in that Mississippi State game that I saw that made me think, yeah, they're ready to go out there to Austin and knock off the number one team.

But, you know, as you get closer to it and you start breaking it down this way and that way, you know, I mean, it could happen that Texas certainly hadn't played a team of Georgia's pedigree yet this year. But it's a lot to overcome. You know, the Darrell K. Royal Texas Memorial Stadium, I understand there should be 105,000 people there.

That's over the 101,000 capacity the stadium was built for. So, you know, there'll be a lot to overcome. But, you know, it feels like their backs are against the wall and they'll and they'll have to play that way.

Chip Towers is joining us from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. You take a look at the Longhorns. I mean, the teams, toughest teams that they've beat, Michigan and just smacking up Oklahoma.

We saw that over the weekend, 34 to 3. And then you allude to the Bulldogs game against Alabama, where they were down 28-0 and almost came back. But do they have enough offense, you think, to hang with these Longhorns? Do the Bulldogs have enough offense to win a national championship?

Well, that's what we're going to find out. And now, listen, you know, in the preseason, there's a lot of factors here. You know, obviously, Georgia's been really decimated by the injury bug.

You can't control it. Texas has injuries. Everybody has injuries. But Georgia's been hit pretty hard. But in the preseason, one of the reasons that I did pick Georgia number one in my preseason A people was I thought they did have the offense. But, you know, slowly but surely, if it's between suspensions, injuries to Kate Ratlage, injuries at the center position, injuries in the backfield, you know, it's kind of like all of Carson Beck's weapons have kind of one by one been going down.

And so, you know, that's what it'll take. But that said, I don't think we've seen the best out of Georgia by a long shot or the best by Carson Beck. And, you know, when you see him, he's kind of one of those guys that one of those quarterbacks that gets hot. And I think he got hot against Mississippi State in that second half.

He was throwing some dimes. And, you know, so it's going to take some crazy kind of effort like that. Now, the flip side of what we don't know is Texas' defense. I mean, I think you alluded to this, but I think they played, in Power Five games, they played two true freshmen and a former walk-on at the court practices. In other words, they haven't faced a Carson Beck at all, anything close to it. So, you know, so we don't know. But right now they lead the nation in defense, right?

They've been really, really good. So we'll find out, you know, if that's true or Memorex, as they used to say on Saturday. Well, let me ask you this, Chip. You talk about Carson Beck. You know, earlier before the season got started, his name was thrown around in that Heisman conversation.

Right now, it is nowhere to be found. People are looking at the Dylan Gabriels, the Cam Wards, the Gentsies, the Travis Hunters of the world. Nobody's saying anything about Carson Beck. There's an expectation that when he gets drafted, he's going to be one of the first QBs at some point really off the board.

You say you don't think that the Bulldogs have kind of maxed or peaked. Is that because of Carson? And what do you think he needs to do for consistency? Is it the players around him? Yeah, I mean, I think, well, I think he's been hurt first with the players around. Listen, Ra Ra Thomas and now Colby Young are both, you know, once dismissed, once suspended. I mean, those are major players that play the exposition, split-ins, possessional guys. I understand, you know, before this stuff happened with Ra Ra, who is probably the second most explosive guy they would have on this team besides Arian Smith right now.

And not having him, he lost that night. I understand him and Carson had spent a lot of time together in the summer. But when you start talking about Carson Beck, I mean, you know, I don't know what, you know, motivates, what pushes his buttons. I mean, I think he's immensely talented.

But, you know, he's kind of hard to put your finger on as to what gets him going. And, you know, certainly there's no better time than the president, certainly not a better scenario than you're going against the number one team on the road and everybody's counting you out. So, I mean, I think he'll be supremely motivated. There's a good shot that they're going to get Jared Wilson back at center. I think that would make it, I don't think Tate Ratlage is going to come back even though he could.

A tightrope surgery four weeks later, I think, is a little too quick for that. But, you know, Kirby said this, they haven't played their best game by a lot of shots. So when he was talking about goals and forgetting all the playoffs and stuff, he says, I just want to see us play our best game and we haven't done that yet. And so if they do that, you know, I don't think there's any question they can knock off the number one team, which would answer a lot of people's questions.

Wow. Well, we're going to find out about those results sooner than later over the weekend. But Chip, where do you think this team will max out at over the next several months? And do you still think they're capable of going out there and winning a national championship? Yeah, I mean, I think they are, especially in the 12 team format.

But I, you know, I got to be honest with you, you know, this is this is definitely not the best Georgia team I've seen so far. And, you know, that that 2021 team, you know, had a world class defense. But, you know, throughout the year, you really weren't thinking of them as like, these guys could win it all.

I mean, you know, right. 22, they were, they go 15-0 and you knew they were the best team. 2021, they kind of snuck up on you. This team certainly doesn't have the defense like that. You know, they're giving up the most points a game they have since Kirby Smart's first year. So, you know, whether that's, you know, because of the players or because of the opponent, hard to tell at this point.

So I, I'm a little bit skeptical, you know, being honest with you about this team being able to win it all. But Kirby surprised us before. He's done some amazing things. His record is what it is. You realize he's going for his 100th career victory here. This would be his 100th career victory. That's pretty good for nine years in this day and age.

That's pretty impressive. So I'm not going to count them out. But if they drop one here, you know, their backs are definitely against the wall. They're going to really give the selection committee some stuff to consider. They'd have to win out for sure. I think, especially if this win is anything other than, you know, a one or three point game. Yeah, well, let's see if the Bulldogs first time underdog in 50 games, whether they can surprise us.

Chip, last question for you. There's a former Bulldog in the NFL. He's gotten a lot of attention over the past week playing for the Steelers. I'm talking about George Pickens. This man had his issues here in Georgia, out in Athens.

And I remember that fight in 2019. And fast forward five years later, he's putting derogatory words on his eye black. And what's the deal with George? You would have think that he would have, I don't know, maybe, maybe grown up over the last five years.

But now he's in Pittsburgh with adults and he seems like he hasn't grown up. Yeah, you know, I'm telling you that Carson Beck is a mystery. I don't think there's anybody who has ever figured out George Pickens, you know, that, you know, the first part of the George Pickens equation is just that talent, man, it's unbelievable what his talent is.

But he's, he's a different egg. I haven't been following it closely, to be honest with you, you know, once these guys matriculate to the NFL, we have a regular feature called dogs in the NFL, but we don't get much into the day to day stuff. I have seen, you know, the stuff that he's done here lately that's brought him into the forefront of the news. And I certainly have no answers for George Pickens. But I, you know, I hope George Pickens is, could be one of the greatest receivers in the history of NFL, if he's, of the NFL, if he's focused and on the job at hand. And I'll just say that and it's always disappointing when he's doing anything other than that. Got no answers for you.

Well, we'll see, maybe Russell Wilson throwing him the wall will change things. Chip, thank you so much for your insight. I know you're down in Austin, this big old match up between Texas, the Longhorns and the Bulldogs of Georgia. Where can people follow you, your work and all your coverage, everything you do for the AJC? Well, the best, you know, we're always got everything at AJC.com, which you can find on the internet anywhere and on an app. But you can follow me on Sea Towers, at Sea Towers AJC on Twitter.

I pretty much put everything up there with links in it and sometimes some thoughts here and there. So follow me there. Hey Chip, appreciate the time. Enjoy yourself. Have some brisket for me, please.

I'm about to right now. You got it, brother. Thank you so much.

Be safe. That's Chip Towers from the Atlanta Journal Constitution joining us to talk about this big old matchup between the Bulldogs and the Longhorns. You can never count the Bulldogs out of a game.

You can't. It's just difficult for me to look at this matchup down in Austin and not select the Longhorns. The way that they've been scoring, the way that Georgia has been playing. I don't know if, unless the defense just puts a stop on them or unless Quinn Ewers gets knocked the hell out, which is also likely, you have to favor the Longhorns.

You have to. And this is why Vegas is favoring them. They're not stupid. This is the first time, I'm going to say it again.

This is the first time in 50 games that the Georgia Bulldogs are entering, entering into a matchup as underdogs. I hope they win. I'm not going to hold my breath on it.

We'll see. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. 855-212-4227.

That's 855-212-4227. We're going to take a break. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief. It is the JR Sport Brief Show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network.

Thank you so much to Chip Towers from the Atlanta Journal Constitution for joining us in the last break. We got a big old game. The Georgia Bulldogs are down in Austin, Texas. They're trying to show everybody that they're not, they're not pushovers. They're trying to show everybody that they still belong in national championship contention. They're trying to knock off the team that hasn't been knocked off yet. Georgia Bulldogs are underdogs on the road for the first time. Just an underdog period. Forget home away on the road.

They're underdogs for the first time in 50 games. That's a lot. 855-212-4227.

That's 855-212-4227. Thank you so much for that update, that news update that we just got from Rich Ackerman. The Cleveland Guardians currently lead the New York Yankees 3-1 in the top of the eighth. They're asking Classe to come out for a four out save. Yankees have two outs. There's a man on first base and there's another man, a man who has been striking out and stinking to join up.

I don't care about a home run or a pop fly. Aaron Judge is at the plate. This is going to be a big moment for the New York Yankees. This is the type of situation where a guy like Aaron Judge, if this was a normal circumstance, you would expect him to hit a home run and tie the game up in dramatic fashion. But the fact that he's been stinking to join up overall in the postseason, this is why there's pressure. But this is why they're paying this man all this money. What, 36 a year?

Aaron Judge better go out there and earn that bread. Hickey, did I skirt? Is it 40 or 36? I think it's 36, right? Yeah, because it was nine for 360, right? Yeah, I think he didn't hit 400. No, that's right. No, he did it.

That's showing you all the time. Hickey, $700 million. I even figured about it. I thought money and I'm just like, well, who makes more? Oh yeah, him. He does by a long shot. Wow.

I guess I never thought about it. He almost doubles Judge. That's status. Well, Judge doesn't pitch. Maybe he needs to try. Maybe, or maybe hitting the postseason. Could you imagine if he did pitch?

Would he be the biggest pitcher in the league now? Like we know they're tall guys. Every now and then you get some six foot 10 guy just slinging the ball out there. Those guys are all thin. You know, like sidearms, slinging the ball. He's, he's like six, seven.

What do they say? He is 265, 270. I don't know. Yeah, he's certainly not. He's got the height of Randy Johnson.

Does not have the slim rubber band, if you will, build. No. Do you think he could throw hard?

Judge? Like he sounds stupid, but he's outfield. Like I would think he can throw hard, right?

I don't know. Right, right. But yes, he's not like, uh, not like Vladimir Guerrero. That dude was throwing lasers. But do you think he's almost like too muscular to throw? If he was a pitcher throw hard, like I think he was almost have to slim down. You think he's too tight? I would think so. Yeah. Yeah. And that kind of prevents you a range of motion from you to be able to really get all the torque behind that fastball.

I, I guess, I guess. Well, look, I mean, we've had plenty of pitchers over time that were like Roger Clemons as he got older. And I think we know some of the reasons why he was a big dude. He was solid looking at class say right now on the mound.

He is solid do too. So I don't know. We will never know. We'll never know. Maybe at the end of his, uh, contract now at the end of Aaron judge contract, they got to go quit. What was he going to be?

30 something 37, 38. You have the old cause he got paid late. Yeah.

Maybe he could tack on a couple more seasons as a, uh, just strictly DH, retire a Yankee and go on the tour and hit a few more home runs on the way out the door. I don't know. Well, we'll see.

We'll see. 8 5 5 2 1 2 42 27. That's 8 5 5 2 1 2 42 27. I need to let you know a few things. I'm going to let you know about this right now. How about this?

It's about the dependable player of the week sponsored by depend and the prostate cancer foundation reminding you that health it's a long game. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, Hickey. Yeah.

Hickey. Come on, bro. He did it. Aaron judge just had a two run home run and tied a game up. The people going to leave him alone now. Are they going to leave him alone now? How about that? Wow.

Just one, just when you say you can't hit in the post season against class against class say too. He looks relieved to say the least. Oh, he, he got a celebration for everybody. When did they, when do they practice this stuff?

Go on now. It's a great question. Like when do, when do professional athletes, I mean, after they work out in the week, I mean, did they do these coordinate? What are they doing? Like go, go, go work out some more, go stretch, go hit off a tear. All this dancing, everybody, he crossed at the plate.

He had a different dance and celebration. Now all they need to do is go back to back as the other giant guy comes, the less giant guy Stanton comes up. Anyway, Aaron judge, he's a dependable player of the week. Obviously, let me tell you about another one because it's sponsored by depend on the prostate cancer foundation, reminding you that health, it's a long game and screening for prostate cancer is easier than ever.

You can learn more at depend.com. Dodger's third baseman, Max Muncy. This man had a perfect night at the plate. He had a bomb of a home run. He reached base and all five plate appearances as the Dodgers won last night game three, eight to nothing. The Dodgers as a team, they hit three home runs while their pitchers struck out the Mets 13 times in the shutout, man, or Shohei Ohtani hit a home run last night. Muncy hit a home run last night. Kike, every time I feel like I'm really paying attention, really diving in this guy hits a home run and that game is getting ready to start in a few minutes. The Dodgers are trying to go up three, one on the New York Mets. Let's see if Max Muncy has another home run and Shohei Ohtani has another one. And then, you know, speaking of Kike Hernandez, let's take a listen to Kike. He says he's very happy to hit home runs and be a part of the team.

Listen. I'm glad I was able to get on base for Shohei to hit that ball that still hasn't landed and shout out to the pitching staff, shout out to Will calling that game behind the plate, another shutout. And, you know, just now turn the page and look forward to tomorrow.

Oh, yeah. Unfortunately for this team. Unfortunately for the New York Mets taking on this team, the Dodgers. Dodgers have kind of blanked them.

They have. Oh, my goodness. Speaking of blank. Hickey, what? Oh, my God.

Hickey, what happened here? Oh, wow. Am I speaking this into existence? I'm an Oracle, right?

Am I an Oracle back to back? Jack's giant. The New York Yankees giant freaks have taken over. Aaron Judge hits a home run.

The other giant freak who's been hot like fish grease. He's take Giancarlo Stanton. Hits a home run. Hickey, the Yankees are going to win the World Series, Hickey. They'll get there.

I'll agree that they get there. Oh, well, well, you holding out faith in the Mets. Mets or Dodgers are winning the World Series.

Oh, OK. Yankees are winning. Hey, what's being complained about? We got an angry umpire.

What's he mad about? Was he what's he complain? Did he touch did he touch the oh, my God. Here we go. Did he did he touch home?

Not home. First base. What are we doing? Do we have to get to that level of gamesmanship in baseball week? Hickey, come on. What are they doing?

Even Giancarlo's stance was like, what are you what are you bums doing that I touch a bunch of losers? Oh, my goodness. Well, with MLB's replay, you know, you can't be too safe.

Oh, my God. You never know. They have called plenty of outs safe and safes out. So you're going to say that he then he didn't hit first base. Could you imagine if that's how the home run gets taken off the board?

Can't do that. No, he missed first base celebrating. Oh, oh, oh, the Yankees look concerned now. Oh, oh, my God. Could you imagine? No, no, no. You know what? We're going to take a break when we come back. The Yankees currently lead four to three. And now they're trying to figure out if a man touched first. We'll talk about that. Plus, a guy who never plays his name is Kawhi Leonard Domo.
