That's 855-212-4227. Me, you can find me online. I am on the internet everywhere. I am at JR Sport Brief. It is official. We are a week away from the NFL Draft. We are staring the NFL Draft in the face. And we had quite a few press conferences today. We had quite a few coaches and GMs who decided to talk about what their week, and more importantly, what their Thursday will look like next week.

And so we'll hear from some of those press conferences and we'll do that next hour. Also, we got a Buffalo Bill who's going to join us. You know, in all actuality, he might be the most famous Buffalo Bill in America. No, it is not Josh Allen. It's DeMar Hamlin. Ahead of the NFL Draft, DeMar Hamlin is working on a special project to help people out with heart and health awareness. And so we have DeMar Hamlin coming through to join us next hour.

Make sure you lock in for that. Some big news when I got off air last night. Looks like Kaitlyn Clark is on her way to a multimillion dollar shoe deal with Nike. And there's a lot of people who are upset about it and for the life of me. I understand why, but the logic and the reasoning makes me scratch my damn head as to why some people are actually complaining about Kaitlyn Clark and what looks like is a major deal coming her way.

We'll get into that later on in the show as well. We got some NFL players that are going to be on their way back into the NFL after some gambling suspensions. And then as we continue on with the show as well, we obviously have to talk some NBA, but we've also had some news that has come down the pipe. You know, last night, right when I got the hell up on out of here, I told you about the Chicago Bulls and the Atlanta Hawks, two teams that nobody wants to see. Well, the Atlanta Hawks, their season is over. The Chicago Bulls, they move on. The Bulls beat the Hawks 131 to 116 out in Chicago. And then so Chicago moves on to take on Miami, because the game that did take place while I was still on air yesterday was between the Sixers and the Heat. The Sixers end up winning 105 to 104. They advance to take on the New York Knicks.

We'll get into that. But the bigger story is that Jimmy Butler had to leave the game yesterday in the first quarter with a knee issue. Kelly Oubre fell on his leg. He had to go to the back. He came back somehow, some way with a busted up MCL. Jimmy Butler still played 40 minutes, scored 19 points. He was five of 18 shooting, which is absolutely terrible.

But the guy was playing on one leg. And so it's been reported by multiple people that Jimmy Butler had an MRI this afternoon and that he is likely going to be out for the Miami Heat for several weeks. That's if the Miami Heat advance in beating the Chicago Bulls this Friday. And so the Chicago Bulls are going to have the benefit of no Jimmy Butler if they want to advance to the playoffs. Still complete waste of time because whoever wins that series goes to take on the Celtics. And the Miami Heat, if they do beat the Chicago Bulls, then they'll have to take on a Boston Celtics team without Jimmy Butler.

Still a massive waste of time. A matter of fact, let's listen to Mr. Jimmy Butler, who spoke yesterday after the game, who also limped out of the arena and gave an update on how the hell he is feeling. Take a listen to Jimmy Butler talk about how, well, I hope my knee ain't that bad. I mean, I don't want to jinx it, but I mean, I hope that I'm fine.

I hope I wake up tomorrow and I can still stick and move. But, you know, right now I can't say that that's the case. Right now, he can't do anything. He can't stick and move. He talked about actually going out there and playing. I told you he was five of 18 from the field. Miserable, awful, terrible.

Jimmy Butler said, yeah, what the hell you want from me? I couldn't move around. It felt me feeling like I couldn't do too much, which, which sucks with the, you know, the timing of the game and everything. But, you know, we had a little neat week and we'll, we'll see what these tests got tomorrow. Oh, we'll see. We'll see what the tests have tomorrow. Okay. All right.

The tests don't look good. The Heat are basically done. Yeah, I tweeted this out today. I'm like, the Heat were going to be done eventually, Andy. What does it matter? Like when I start thinking about playoff basketball, you can enjoy the games and you can certainly go out there and enjoy the moments.

But as an overall, I'm looking at this and I say to myself, man, what the hell? Like, who cares? The Miami Heat aren't winning a championship. If Jimmy Butler is going to be gone now and they get eliminated today, tomorrow, next week, what the hell difference does it make? Like these guys are out there competing for a championship, not for, you know, a second runner up. Who cares? Miami Heat had a chance of winning a championship like me and Hickey do.

Hickey, how you doing? Are you going to win an NBA championship this year? Myself? No. No, unfortunately, no ring for me.

Oh, okay. And no ring for me either. No ring for Jimmy Butler. No ring for, I don't know, Eric Spolstra. He's not getting another one. And so it's just a matter of time for when the Miami Heat get eliminated.

If they go out and beat the Chicago Bulls and good for them, either one of these teams are kind of first place losers anyway. All the best to Jimmy Butler. There's always something wrong with the guy, always hurt, kind of banged up here or there. We've seen playoff Jimmy. We've seen the best of Jimmy Butler. Let me just put it that way. I don't think he's going to necessarily get better as he ages all of a sudden become healthy.

I highly, highly doubt that. And so moving on are the Philadelphia 76ers. Joel Embiid was able to actually drag his behind out there, put up 23 points, grab 15 rebounds. And the New York Knicks are next. I mean, you got a guy like Patrick Reed, who ultimately said, we prefer to take on the New York Knicks because they'd be easier than us going on out there and taking on the Celtics. Like that actually came out of an NBA player's mouth, telling everybody that you have a preference.

And I, you know, I got a lot of buckets to fill when it comes to a loser mentality. That's one of them. Why the hell would you quote unquote, rile up the Knicks? Do I think it's ultimately going to have a driving factor as to who wins the series?

I don't think so. But why give them any added motivation, whether it's a small smidge or whether it's a full-blown punch in the face, it also shows weakness. If you ask me, everybody knows the Boston Celtics are the one seat. Everybody knows the Boston Celtics are expected to go to the NBA finals, but you just sound weak. You sound like a wimp. You sound afraid when you stand around and verbalize that you get asked the question about, Hey, did you want to don't, don't say anything, say, we got the next, we got to handle the business that's in front of us. And that's it.

No preferences. And they're going to need a lot of help. If the Philadelphia 76ers want to go forward and beat the Knicks, it's real simple. It boils down to Mr. Joel and beat because as many points as he had last night, they, the Sixers were getting booed by their own home fans because they expected more than what they got. I mean, Nicholas Batum last night had to help drive them into that seventh seed. He had a season high 20 points. This is what you're relying on.

This is who you're relying on. Nicholas Batum. Nick nurse had to praise him after the game.

If you got to rely on Nick Batum, your cook, listen to this. Well, he obviously knew we needed some offense and needed to crack that zone with some perimeter shooting, right? So he found some areas to get to and he just kept pulling the trigger. All right.

And obviously he made them. I think again, you want to talk about sparks, him going bang, bang, bang about three out of four there, like that turned the game around. Oh, come on, man. We can't expect that from Batum. And if you want to think about the other Sixers star Tyrese Maxey had 19 points on six of 16 shooting. If you're the 76 is you just can't rely on Joel Embiid, who at any point in time, they just spontaneously combust out on the basketball court. And you can't just rely on Tyrese Maxey, who's still a young player.

You're going to dump all of this on him. Unfortunately, Tobias Harris is just a walking basketball corpse from long Island. They need help in the New York Knicks. They play hard, man. They got big bodies to throw at Joel Embiid. They got Hartenstein. They have Mitchell Robinson and sure.

Yeah. When Embiid is firing on all cylinders who's stopping and the answer is nobody, but at least the Knicks got dudes to put in front of him to make it a little bit more difficult. And so the Philadelphia 76ers, I think they might be staring at a six or seven game series. This might go seven games. If Jalen Brunson doesn't get hurt, if he doesn't get tired, if he doesn't get worn down into the ground, I could see the Knicks beating the Sixers.

I really could. But the key to this entire series is Joel Embiid. How healthy is he going to be? Is he going to make it through the series?

I don't think this is so much of a series about, oh, who has more talent or who's best. Look, if you could rely on Joel Embiid, I would say that this is, this would be the Sixers series to win. But the reality is he's not reliable.

He can go down. And for the Knicks, they better hope that at this point, Joel Embiid, he ain't at full strength. And that Jalen Brunson still has some juice left in the tank. But all things considered, Patrick Reed got it right.

Patrick Reed is a dude who's correct in this whole scenario. Yeah, you shouldn't have wanted to face the Celtics because the Celtics are better than the Knicks and the Celtics, and the Celtics, they are the favorites to represent the East. Sixers can go on a magic run here. But they got some, they got their work cut out in front of them and it boils down to Embiid. Hickey, you think, you think they got a chance here? I will just say, before I get my answer, I am a Knicks fan.

Unbiased? No. Embiid is not healthy, nor is he reliable in the playoffs. I don't think this six, I think the Sixers are getting bounced to five games. You think the Sixers are out of there in five games? Five games.

Okay. And who's the back, the backup center? What's his name? Paul Reed. So the guy, his name is Paul. Paul Reed.

Yes, sir. This man is the backup center talk, like, why does he even, why does he even have a microphone to talk trash? Why is the backup center talking trash?

I guess because everyone else that's going to play a lot of minutes is busy prepping for the playoff game. It's always hilarious when the guys who just come off the bench got stuff to say. Like a couple of weeks ago, a guy off the bench wanted to talk crap to the Golden State Warriors, and he's out for the season with an injury. At least the Golden State Warriors got into the playing. Houston Rockets didn't go anywhere. Got a bunch of bench guys talking trash.

This is what the world has come to. Paul Reed, Patrick Reed, the golfer, Andy Reed. Is there another famous Reed that I'm missing?

Not that I can think of. Whoever the hell this guy is on the Sixers. Let's see what he does when he's actually in the game.

Yeah, well, I know one thing for sure. They don't want to play him. And if we got to look at Paul Reed play basketball, especially on an extended basis, that means the Sixers means they're cooked.

It's the JR sport we show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. We don't get plan action until tomorrow. We got the Pelicans and the Kings win or go home.

And then. We got the Miami Heat. With no Butler taking on the Bulls. Yes, just a battle of losers on a Friday night. The real playoffs start on on Saturday.

It's the JR sport we show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. Next hour, Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills is going to join us. A matter of fact, as we get ready for some NFL draft action next week, it's been a lot of talk about what the Buffalo Bills are going to do in the draft.

Well, guess what? Josh Allen spoke to the media today, his first time chatting since Stefan Diggs got moved down to the Houston Texans. How does Josh Allen feel about the move? What's going to happen with Buffalo next? We will hear from Josh Allen in his press conference today.

Nordic Knots.com. JR wants to hear from you. Call him now at 855-212-4227. It's the JR sport re-show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. 855-212-4227.

That's 855-212-4227. We're a week away from the NFL Draft. Tamar Hamlin will join us next hour. We'll talk about the Buffalo Bills in a bit because Josh Allen spoke to the media earlier today. And right before we went to break to open up the show, we talked about what does remain of the NBA playing.

The Miami Heat will be in action tomorrow against the Chicago Bulls. No Jimmy Butler dealing with an MCL injury. No guarantee that he's even going to return if they advance for the next few weeks. And then you think about the West Coast, you'll have the New Orleans Pelicans taking on the Kings with no Zion Williamson. We get the first round of the playoffs.

The action starts up on Saturday. And one of those games happens to be the New York Knicks taking on the Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers, well, the New York Knicks beat them three out of four times this season. And Joel Embiid only played in one game. We know why, because Joel Embiid is always hurt.

And we know if he's healthy, he's a dangerous man and lays some people out. What I also found to be hilarious is that Paul Reed, their backup big man, their backup center, who is not all that big, called this man Patrick Reed. Paul Reed sat down on a podcast and opened up his mouth and basically said, listen, folks, we preferred to take on the Knicks. Well, yeah, fine, the Celtics are the favorites, but why the hell would you say something like that publicly?

Sounds stupid to me. 855-212-4227. That's 855-212-4227. Corey is here from Kansas. Corey, you're on the JR Sport Brief Show on the Infinity Sports Network. Hi, JR. Hope you're doing well. I am.

Thank you. Yeah, I'm good. Look, man, I don't like bench players talking trash any more than you do. But the obvious choice is you want the Celtics or the Knicks.

You want to play the Knicks, man. They're a one man show with Brunson and that's all they got. Yeah, I don't think there's any debate there. The fact is, the fact is, is that you shouldn't open up your mouth and publicly say it. Well, he's got Joel Embiid to back him up.

So I think he's got and shout out to my Jayhawks, Joel, and shout out to my chief. But that makes it that makes it worse, as you said. So there's a couple of things. A, he's a bench player. B, if we see him out on the court in any extended amount of time, that means that things suck for the Philadelphia 76ers. C, why would you want to go ahead and give the New York Knicks added motivation? Why do you specifically want to put a little bit of a target on your back as a bench player? And then just when it comes down, forget the Knicks and forget the Sixers and forget the NBA. This could be the NFL or the NHL or Major League Baseball. There is absolutely no reason to publicly come out as a professional athlete and as a competitor at any level.

We can apply this to college or high school or anything. Why are you publicly going to admit that you have a preference when it comes down to who you want to face as a professional? And thank you, Corey, for calling from Kansas. You should just pretty much say, I don't care who we're going to play. I'm prepared. We're prepared. And we're just going to go out there and do it. It just shows that where's your confidence level?

Where do you feel? And yes, sure, the 76ers are the the underdogs. They would be the underdogs against the Celtics, given the health status of Joel and beat. But there's certain things as a competitor just shut up about. Yeah, we want honesty. But come on. Am I thinking that if I got to go back to 1998, is Carmelone going to sit in front of a microphone and tell you, oh, yeah, man, we were hoping that the the Indiana Pacers went to the finals. We hope that we'd have to face the Pacers because we don't want to see Michael Jordan like you can feel that. Obviously, you know, you're going to be the underdog. Nobody's stupid.

But have some type of competitive spirit to not sit around telling everybody who you would prefer to face. I mean, this is not it's not like going shopping. I prefer a Lamborghini over a Bentley.

Oh, my God. This is competition. Stop talking about taking the easy way out. Your answer is supposed to be it doesn't matter who we have to face. We got to do what we got to do, regardless of who's standing in front of us. Everybody always making up, you know, not excuses, but obstacles. It's just just go play the game.

Oh, I prefer to do this. Well, tell me how weak minded you are in the process. Eight five five two one two forty two twenty seven eight five five two one two forty two twenty seven. Speaking of weak minded, somebody who would have a lot of excuses right now would be Josh Allen ahead of the NFL draft next week. We had a lot of coaches and GMs and players talk ahead of the draft. And so it's been a couple of weeks since Stefan Diggs has been traded from the Buffalo Bills on down to the Houston Texans. And so Josh Allen today had the first time to speak.

And we know we can go back to off seasons ago or excuse me, two playoffs ago. We saw a rather animated conversation between Stefan Diggs and Josh Allen last off season. We saw the Buffalo Bills kissing his ass, trying to calm the situation down and bring the temperature down in the process.

Here's the deal. They went through another season and they lost again to the Kansas City Chiefs. And Stefan Diggs usage went down as the season went on. He was basically nonexistent by the time they got to the end.

He still finished with eleven hundred yards receiving an eight touchdowns. But there was a steep fall off like the Buffalo Bills were trying to let everybody know we don't need you. And so Josh Allen, he could throw stones, he could throw darts, he could throw knives when he spoke to the media today.

But he threw roses. He pretty much said, yeah, it was tough watching Stefan Diggs walk out the building. Listen, definitely hard to part ways with a guy that's been very instrumental in our success here over the last four years.

And again, I can't thank him enough for when he came in and how hard he worked and what he taught me along the years. And obviously, I wish we can keep everybody. You know, we've made a lot of changes this offseason. Lost a lot of veteran leadership, Steph being one of them. I guess that's the nature of the business.

And going into year seven now, it's just kind of is what it is. You know, I don't I don't get paid to make changes on the team. I pay to be the best quarterback that I can be and try to lead the guys on this team. Oh, he's got to be a leader now, right? He's got to be more of a leader. He talked about how much having Stefan Diggs around helped him grow as a quarterback. Well, now, after four seasons with the man, he's talking about having to grow as a leader without Stefan Diggs there.

Listen to Josh Allen. I think it's an opportunity for myself to grow as a leader and to bring along some of these young guys or new guys that we've brought into our team. And that's an opportunity, frankly, that I'm very excited about. You know, it's something that is going to be very challenging, but I'm very willing to do it.

Okay. It's going to be challenging, but he's he's ready and willing to do it. He's going to have to do it because they don't have no number one wide receiver. And I guess this is a natural maturation of a QB. Josh Allen comes into the league and there's so many conversations about him stepping up and Josh Allen needs to do better. And Josh Allen needs to not turn the ball over. And Josh Allen, this he doesn't need to be Superman. Well, he got a wide receiver. That wide receiver is now gone. And so I guess he is going to have to take a step forward and it's fine.

He could be a great leader. He doesn't have a wide receiver to argue with. But what the hell is the next step? Who's he throwing the ball to?

That's more important. Is it going to stop at Kincaid? Are we going to look at Knox as being the number one option? I mean, is Cook going to be out, I don't know, a scat back? What are we doing here? The Buffalo Bills, they don't sound overly concerned right now, but Josh Allen had an opportunity to throw a wide receiver, a diva complaining ass wide receiver under the bus. He didn't do it.

Instead of throwing darts, he decided to throw roses. And I guess that's the first step in showing everybody, hey, I can, I can be a leader. I don't have to tear somebody down to build myself up. Unfortunately for the Bills, I think they'll be in the same damn spot that they were last year.

Good enough to win games, good enough to go to the postseason, but not yet good enough to knock off the Kansas City Chiefs. That's just life. It sucks. Well, at least for them. 855-212-4227.

That's 855-212-4227. You know, this is the time of year. NFL offseason, college season is done as well in both the basketball and the football side. This is the time of year where people start moving.

It's not just Stefan Diggs. And so today we've had a lot of individuals. You know what, over the past couple of days, the past couple of weeks, we've had a lot of individuals moving around in the world of sports, especially on the college side of things.

So we're going to take a break and when we come back, we're going to dive into some other transactions. Deion Sanders had some words about some of the players who are leaving Colorado. And then we've even had a W. Well, excuse me, I can call her WNBA prospect. Well, she tried to win a national championship at LSU and she's moving on. I'm going to tell you about some of these individuals who are finding greener pastures, or at least they hope so.

It's real simple. 855-212-4227. That's 855-212-4227. Damara Hamlin is going to come through and join us next hour, so make sure you stay locked in. At the top of the hour, we're also going to take a look at the NFL draft, which is now only a week a week away and it's going to take place in Detroit, Michigan. Now, Hickey, we didn't get a chance to talk about this last week.

I think you were out or I was out or something or any other. Did you hear and see that there are only 13 draftees that are going to be in attendance next week? Did you see that? No, I did not. Wow, 13.

That feels shockingly low. Yeah, and you got a star like, well, he's a star in Michigan. He just won a national championship and granted, Ann Arbor isn't isn't Detroit, but it ain't that far. JJ McCarthy is not going to be attending the draft next week.

I got a guy from here in Georgia, Brock Bowers. He is not going to be at the draft next week. These guys are deciding to stay at home.

I don't know if it's a matter of we made NIL money. Why do I now need to go to the draft to make a couple extra dollars in appearances and whatnot? And a lot of cases, they they just say they want to stay home. Why do you think they ain't showing up for the draft? Or, I mean, these guys are going to get drafted in the first round. So why are they not showing up?

You know, it's kind of confusing. What would you do? It depends on on my status and standing. I mean, obviously you're a first round pick. You're not going to go there if you're going to be day two or day three.

You are like Brock Bowers. You're going to get picked in the top 15. Right, right. Would you go?

Would you want to go? I don't know. I guess, yes. I mean, for the most part, if I want to follow not necessarily tradition, it's it's an achievement. I mean, you have something like that.

So I give you a different example. I haven't attended a graduation since middle school. Did I graduate high school?

Yes, I did. I didn't go to high school graduation. I graduated in like February. And I said, I ain't coming back.

Y'all can have graduation in May, June. I ain't showing up. I was gone. I was done.

Wow. And so I didn't go through the graduation process. That was my last graduation. When I was in college, I didn't go to college. I didn't care. Is it something that I regret now in life? No, because what I got a degree in in business isn't applicable.

Well, not exactly applicable to what I'm doing exactly now, at least on the airwaves. And so I don't I don't have a second thought. But I would think if you're an NFL prospect and you you plan, you prepare your whole life for something, even though it's only 20 something odd years of your life, that that's what you want. You want to experience walking across that stage. You want to shake Goodell's hand. You want to put on the hat. You want to have your family there.

Yeah, there's nothing like being in your own house. Please believe me. I know. I think I would want to walk across the stage. All right.

Would you want to get what would you do with Roger Dell? Bear hug, handshake, fist bump. You shake his hand, shake his hand. OK, you want to tackle him?

No, I'm not trying to pick him up and tackle him. That's all that's all that's unnecessary. And I I think maybe a part of this and I could be wrong. I think some of it might be on the financial side. I mean, for so many years, athletes in college, they were not allowed to make money. You couldn't have an NIL deal. You couldn't have a marketing deal. I mean, we had a football player who went famous because the NCAA basically told him you can't have a YouTube channel while you play football because you're monetizing it.

It's like, what are we doing? You can't work at McDonald's. You can't do anything. Couldn't. Past tense.

Do anything. If you were a student athlete. And now, I mean, today we got Virginia basically passing a law that says universities and colleges can pay the student athletes directly.

And so I mean, we already know that this ain't no amateurish stuff. There used to be a time where prospect they declared for the draft, they finished up with college. And then one of the first ways that they could make money was around the draft time, you know, signing up with a razor blade company or men's grooming care company, signing up with an auto company and making the rounds on behalf of that brand.

But maybe these guys out of college make so much money. They're like, I'm not going to Detroit to do media. I'm not going to Detroit to be dragged around. I'm just going to stay home, have my open and press conference whenever it is with the team that drafts me and get ready. I get the less is more. I mean, could you imagine like what people would say if Caleb Williams said I'm not showing up?

He'd get destroyed, if that were the case. But some of the other dudes is like, I'm staying home and nobody cares. I can't, like honestly, I think I would stay home. I think it would just be a nice moment with the family. Whatever food you want, you can kind of, you know, have to dress up in a nice suit and be all tight and proper. You can just kind of be loose and thankful, if you will. I think it's just a better experience at home.

That'd be my preference. Yeah, it's work. It's work going to the draft for these young men. It's also one hell of an experience that they'll never get back. But I guess that moment at home and people, friends, family, maybe folks can't travel.

You have it right in your house. And maybe also, by the way, maybe this is a result of us being trapped in a house for, what, a year? Was it like a year we were just told to stay home? Felt like 10 years. Felt like 10 years.

Yeah, basically a year. But people are more used to being at home, working from home. Like there's been a shift in regards to I need to go outside.

I don't need to go outside. I'm not gonna. And so I think that plays a part in it as well. I know last year, obviously, Will Leviss felt like he had to sit in the green room all day, had to wait until the next day to be drafted. And if I can remember, Hickey, do you recall? He showed up that second day. He came back to the draft, didn't he?

No. From what I remember, I'm pretty sure he traveled home. And I think the way he told the story is he literally walked in his front door and that's when he got the news he was drafted with. And he was like, and that's when he got the news he was drafted by the Titans.

Like, was that the third or fourth pick of the second round? Something like that? Yeah. I think he literally walked in the door at home when he got the news.

Yeah, you're right. He did. He left. He went to the draft and he left, but there was no guarantee that he was going to be taken up high. And, well, he got drafted in the second round and nobody wants to sit around waiting and waiting. And we've seen this from star quarterbacks, Hall of Fame quarterbacks, MVP caliber quarterbacks. Lamar Jackson had to sit in the in the green room until the end of the first round to get selected by the Ravens, despite winning a Heisman. You can think about Alex Smith and you could think about Aaron Rodgers.

Well, Aaron Rodgers, definitely a four time MVP winner. He had to sit around. And so I can't blame anybody for staying at home. It's just a little surprising that the NFL extends the invite. There must be some additional, you know, strings attached, which is like, you know, I'm going to pass the media, the times you have to do this and do that.

And for that, I can't blame them. If it was just show up for the draft, I'm sure we know it is is bells, whistles and strings that are attached. Speaking of the draft, Deion Sanders has his boys going into the draft next year and Travis Hunter, his son, Chidor. We all heard Deion talk about how he wants to guide them, where they get drafted, have a little bit more control over that. But Deion has other things to worry about right now because the transfer portal is open and 14 players, count of 14 players have decided they don't want to stay at Colorado. We know the offensive line was a sore spot for the Buffaloes last year, and Deion Sanders just had one of his best linemen decide to leave. And so Deion had an opportunity to talk about that during what was a more than hour long press conference.

And Deion said, I worry about nothing. I wish you guys do a little more homework when you start talking about the portal and understand what we're losing. What are we losing?

I got time today. What are we losing? Potential.

Where? You haven't been watching practice, huh? Amen. We good. I trust the recruiting team. I trust our coaches.

And please have some faith in me. We good. We all right. We all right.

What happens with the portal, man? And you guys need to know a lot of people are fighting for backups. When a guy is a starter and he transfers, you got to really think about that. I mean, is he really dead? I don't know how many starters have really transferred around the country.

I think we got some coming in from visits pretty soon, maybe even this weekend, but we can attract those types of players, but I don't think we're losing those types of players. And if we do, we're good. Quit making a big deal out of nothing. God, I want to say so much stuff, but I can't. God, I want to say so much stuff. I can't remember my main coach.

Let's go. You know, one thing I do want to point out, you haven't seen practice. No, we don't see practice. We see the games.

I think if you had a decent offensive line, your son wouldn't be running for his life. And so I think there would be some cause for concern. Something else to take note of.

Colorado, from what I've read, the practices are private. And so there is no opportunity at any point for the media to kind of peek in even for a few minutes and just see what's going on. There naturally is. Are you going to be overly concerned?

Are people going to start jumping off the mountains and the roofs up in Boulder? No, I don't think so. But to think that there's no cause for concern. Yeah, you want to protect your son. That's your boy.

That's the golden goose. Not necessarily for you, but that's his life. You don't want this man having to run around and be hurt at the end of the season. Everybody wants to see Chidor Sanders. People want to see what he does. People want to know what Colorado does next year after a hot start. They fell apart. What's going to happen this season?

I can tell you this much. Deion Sanders is going to be good for some damn good quotes. And speaking of other movement going on in the college ranks, if I got to take a look at the basketball side, Haley Vanleth, she's moving on from LSU to TCU. Thought that she was going to head out to LSU and team up with Angel Reese and build a mega team.

Didn't work out. They didn't ask for her to go out there and score the ball. They wanted her to be a point guard. And so now she heads to Texas Christian University. And then speaking of going pro, Reed Shepherd, who came off of the bench for the Kentucky Wildcats.

Well, Mark Pope is in. You can look on the other side and then you can say that Calipari is going Reed Shepherd is on his way to the NBA after coming off of the bench, after being in McDonald's All-American. He ain't sticking around. He is not staying in Kentucky.

He's going to go ahead and try to get that money. It's that time of year, folks. It's not just the NFL draft. College players are moving around. Transfer portal is wide open.

Virginia said it's OK for the schools and universities to pay the athletes. Not that they are, but that step is coming. That step is coming.

Watch. It's coming for the country. Schools are going to start giving the athletes a share of the revenue. Believe that it's coming.

I think it's going to happen sooner than later. It's the J.R. Sport re-show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. We got Damar Hamlin.
